Jared’s Story: Jesus from Celebrity to God
Growing up Mormon, Jared believed in Jesus—but he describes his relationship with him as feeling more like knowing a celebrity than knowing someone personally. He could read about Jesus, see pictures of him, and hear church leaders talk about him, but he never felt like he had direct access to him for himself. In this episode, Jared shares what it was like growing up deeply involved in the LDS Church and unpacks the journey that eventually led him out of Mormonism and into a personal relationship with Jesus.
