- 0:06Speaker 1: Drama Darling. Drama Darling, Drama Darling.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Hey, everybody, welcome back. It's Drama Darling. It's Thursday, and
- 0:25Speaker 2: boy baby Dworder went back to school today, Thursday of school.
- 0:29Speaker 2: So it's a lot of growing pains over here, rushing
- 0:32Speaker 2: around and you know, wow, I'm gonna get some time back,
- 0:35Speaker 2: you know, my life. Anyway, without further ado, let me
- 0:41Speaker 2: introduce one fantastic guest that has not been on Drama
- 0:45Speaker 2: Darling yet. He is someone who's podcast I just did
- 0:50Speaker 2: called Fixing Famous People. It is the incredible Chris DeRosa.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Hi, Chris, thank you for having me and I to
- 1:00Speaker 3: know that you doing Jessica Lang was like a revelation
- 1:06Speaker 3: that like reverberated through everyone that I knew.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Well, thank you, Chris. I loved doing your podcast. And
- 1:13Speaker 2: guess how we met one gorgeous California Deanna Chang, who
- 1:17Speaker 2: is also here. Ladies and gentlemen, Deanna Chang.
- 1:21Speaker 4: This is just a dream afternoon, guys. It's the whole thing,
- 1:24Speaker 4: you know. It really is to creator that I adore
- 1:31Speaker 4: and consider friends would go to dinner with, like to
- 1:37Speaker 4: spend time with.
- 1:38Speaker 5: Yeah, the phone and call that what's up?
- 1:42Speaker 2: We know you call it. We all know well, you
- 1:44Speaker 2: know we said it on the podcast. So Deanna, it's
- 1:46Speaker 2: okay if I say it again, because you were very
- 1:50Speaker 2: transparent about this. Now, christ de Rosa, if you don't know,
- 1:53Speaker 2: other than being a fantastic human and incredible creator, extremely funny,
- 1:57Speaker 2: has a very popular podcast. He has been a producer
- 2:01Speaker 2: in reality television for quite some time, the roots being
- 2:05Speaker 2: like a Real Housewives of New York. Currently he's a
- 2:09Speaker 2: producer on the Real Housewives of New Jersey. I think
- 2:14Speaker 2: we need to give him like a Love Island, right,
- 2:17Speaker 2: do you think that?
- 2:18Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 2:19Speaker 4: To have someone from like who's on the front lines
- 2:21Speaker 4: amongst us right now is just a genuine thrill.
- 2:25Speaker 3: You know.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Wow, Chris, I know you can't talk. I know you
- 2:28Speaker 2: can't talk about everything.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Was that?
- 2:30Speaker 1: This?
- 2:31Speaker 3: Was that? The charity softball game line?
- 2:35Speaker 2: Now the maimony I always say it wrong, mammondies yeah,
- 2:40Speaker 2: menomineesn okay, all right, So it's already happening, Oh my gosh.
- 2:46Speaker 2: So that means that typically we would be shooting Jersey
- 2:50Speaker 2: at this point, because Dolores always does her charity event,
- 2:54Speaker 2: always shoots and uh, I mean, Chris, you don't have
- 2:58Speaker 2: to say it. But from what everything I understand is
- 3:01Speaker 2: they are not shooting right now because things are juggling around, so.
- 3:07Speaker 3: As not shooting, not shooting. Wow, was there as a
- 3:10Speaker 3: civilian for the first time, which was very different?
- 3:15Speaker 2: Was Dolores part of it? Obviously, like she's doing her.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Things so same thing, run of the mill situation? Wow?
- 3:21Speaker 5: Oh God bless.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Yeah, Delores, she's not just doing it for the cameras
- 3:25Speaker 2: you guys.
- 3:26Speaker 3: No, raising more money than she did last year as well.
- 3:29Speaker 3: So she.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Yes, because the people that typically go to those games
- 3:34Speaker 2: hate the real housewives, so now that you're not shooting,
- 3:37Speaker 2: they will go No I'm kidding.
- 3:39Speaker 3: And raise money.
- 3:43Speaker 2: No, that's amazing, amazing.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Fun fact, taking her leave it, my grandmother went to
- 3:50Speaker 4: Mamma d'es for breast cancer when she was way older,
- 3:54Speaker 4: in her eighties, and my father in law had to
- 3:57Speaker 4: go two years ago with an emergence situation. See, so
- 4:02Speaker 4: I feel like my mamamade Is time hasn't been well spent.
- 4:07Speaker 4: But uh, they seem to need some help, so let's
- 4:10Speaker 4: raise some money.
- 4:11Speaker 3: You know. Well, I'm yeah for real and for real.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Well, Diana, maybe the planets will align that will be
- 4:21Speaker 2: out there one of these years. I remember getting an
- 4:23Speaker 2: invitation to her charity event like I don't remember it
- 4:27Speaker 2: was one of her people or whatever, and I was like,
- 4:29Speaker 2: I'm in La or else. I would love to go.
- 4:31Speaker 2: But but my point being that we all really I
- 4:35Speaker 2: have a fast and furious love connection with christ Rosa
- 4:39Speaker 2: thanks to Deanna Chang. And when Dianna says, oh, these
- 4:42Speaker 2: are the people I would actually go to dinner with
- 4:44Speaker 2: and hang out with and call and yeah, And what
- 4:46Speaker 2: I was going to say is, Dana, you did call
- 4:48Speaker 2: christ Rosa crying.
- 4:51Speaker 3: In tears, in tears.
- 4:53Speaker 2: When you found out the news that it's possible that
- 4:56Speaker 2: the Real Housewives in New Jersey cast would be completely rebooted,
- 4:59Speaker 2: when was floating around at the very beginning, and suffice
- 5:04Speaker 2: it to say, maybe there were some other things going
- 5:05Speaker 2: on in your life. I don't know, but I just
- 5:07Speaker 2: love the fact that you could call Chris crying about it.
- 5:10Speaker 2: And Chris, what was your reaction as a producer?
- 5:14Speaker 3: Well, she called me. Well, first she texted being like,
- 5:18Speaker 3: oh no, the show is getting rebooted, Like oh my god,
- 5:20Speaker 3: like a four alarm fire situation. And I go no,
- 5:24Speaker 3: Deana like no, and She's like, Andy just said it
- 5:27Speaker 3: on radio, and and it sent me a screenshot of
- 5:32Speaker 3: a text message from a random person on Instagram, which
- 5:34Speaker 3: I go, that is not enough proof to tell me
- 5:36Speaker 3: that the show is being reoted. Then it's like screenshot
- 5:40Speaker 3: right then, because of this screenshot of a text message
- 5:42Speaker 3: from a random person, there's like every Bravo Instagram person
- 5:46Speaker 3: is like, oh my god, like you know there. Then
- 5:48Speaker 3: I'll sign on.
- 5:49Speaker 5: The alarms right right right?
- 5:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I need you to get me some audio. Then
- 5:53Speaker 3: she gets audio, and I go, Deanna, this is someone
- 5:56Speaker 3: who just like called in and is like talking forever.
- 6:00Speaker 3: And Andy said something to get them off the phone,
- 6:02Speaker 3: and that was what happened, Like that's what we all
- 6:04Speaker 3: saw and so and I was like, I promise you,
- 6:06Speaker 3: like I would know if this was if this is
- 6:09Speaker 3: what happened, and it's just okay, okay, and that she
- 6:12Speaker 3: was crying and then she was shedding tears on the phone,
- 6:16Speaker 3: and I said, you guys all want to do you
- 6:17Speaker 3: all want everyone to be fired until that happens and
- 6:21Speaker 3: then you're like, oh god, what has just happened?
- 6:23Speaker 2: And what have I done? Like I have blood on
- 6:25Speaker 2: what have I done? Right?
- 6:27Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:28Speaker 4: Yeah, I've called for them to be fired last year
- 6:30Speaker 4: and I'm sure at the end of this year. But
- 6:33Speaker 4: so that's why the tears, you know, you know, truly, No, Listen,
- 6:37Speaker 4: here's the thing I think. Obviously, when you're at a stalemate,
- 6:42Speaker 4: you have to make moves. We've been at a stalemate
- 6:45Speaker 4: for two years. Okay, that's it. We've that's enough time
- 6:49Speaker 4: in that sort of a space. I understand that they're
- 6:53Speaker 4: but the idea of a full tear down, like not
- 6:57Speaker 4: a one of us them are coming back was It's like, I've.
- 7:00Speaker 5: Been with these people for so long.
- 7:03Speaker 4: I don't like, I don't like a gutting, a full
- 7:07Speaker 4: like to the stud's tear down.
- 7:09Speaker 5: Like it's just not like I put too much time
- 7:12Speaker 5: in shot.
- 7:14Speaker 3: It's a shot to the system.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely a shot, and I think we can all
- 7:18Speaker 2: pull back and you know, maybe it's not as bad
- 7:21Speaker 2: as we thought it was going to be. Let's hope, right,
- 7:24Speaker 2: all right.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I mean you'll you'll know what, I know, that's it.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Everyone's people are dm me me being like what if
- 7:29Speaker 3: this could happen? And I'm like, I have no power
- 7:32Speaker 3: in this decision at all, Like I'm just like the
- 7:35Speaker 3: rest of you, waiting to find out the news, and
- 7:37Speaker 3: so it's so funny when people are They're like, I have, like,
- 7:40Speaker 3: random person, I have a hair brained idea, what if
- 7:42Speaker 3: this person did this? And what if this person did this?
- 7:44Speaker 3: And I go, that's great. I don't what what would
- 7:46Speaker 3: you like me to do with this? Send it to
- 7:48Speaker 3: Andy Cohen who doesn't know me, Like, I don't know
- 7:50Speaker 3: what to.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Tell what he doesn't know? You guys don't know each other,
- 7:53Speaker 2: have you?
- 7:53Speaker 3: Why would we see but we don't see each other?
- 7:55Speaker 3: Why would I see that?
- 7:57Speaker 2: Why not not like at premieres or No, I guess
- 8:00Speaker 2: that wouldn't make sense because there's no real premieres watch
- 8:04Speaker 2: parties anyway.
- 8:05Speaker 3: It would happen anyway. So anyway, well, he definitely knows
- 8:10Speaker 3: who you.
- 8:10Speaker 2: He's seen you because your gorgeous face was on the
- 8:15Speaker 2: watch Party episode last week.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Amy, do not say watch party in front of Chris. Okay,
- 8:25Speaker 4: Chris has a sense of humor.
- 8:27Speaker 5: Wedding.
- 8:28Speaker 3: I mean, it wasn't what it was. It wasn't watch party.
- 8:31Speaker 2: He can't he can't argue with that. I mean, that's
- 8:33Speaker 2: what it was.
- 8:34Speaker 4: No, I just I just like he's here, you know,
- 8:36Speaker 4: It's no, It's fine.
- 8:40Speaker 3: People people come up to me and are like, here's
- 8:43Speaker 3: why this season was so terrible. I'm like, okay, sure,
- 8:46Speaker 3: oh got it.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Terrible. This was a freaking phenomenal season, and that's why
- 8:51Speaker 2: we wanted more. So, Chris, thank you, well done. You know,
- 8:55Speaker 2: well done. And I loved seeing you in front of
- 8:58Speaker 2: those tracks well coming in those housewives looking gorgeous with
- 9:03Speaker 2: your gold chain and your black shirt.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Thank you. The next time you're here, the next time
- 9:10Speaker 3: you guys are here, We're going to Rails.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know, I'm way overdue for going to Rails.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I have had a relationship with the manager there, not
- 9:17Speaker 2: a romantic one, but just in one that when you
- 9:21Speaker 2: guys started shooting at Rails long time ago, I was
- 9:25Speaker 2: celebrating Rails before it was. People were really giving it
- 9:29Speaker 2: the acknowledgment that I deserved, and so I really latched
- 9:33Speaker 2: onto that so much so that I know I would
- 9:36Speaker 2: always bring it up on my serious XM show. And
- 9:39Speaker 2: so one day he called into the show and he
- 9:41Speaker 2: was like, Amy, this is Mike the manager at Rails.
- 9:46Speaker 2: I hear you keep talking about us, because people would
- 9:48Speaker 2: come in there and be like, Amy Phillips.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Talks in your life, And he was like, who.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Had no of course you would not know what a
- 9:57Speaker 2: class act sent me. Yes, why gorgeous wine? Yeah, rails swag.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I had just had my baby. They sent me Rail's
- 10:08Speaker 2: baby clothes.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Don't you dare say that? That's amazing?
- 10:11Speaker 2: I said it, and I have proof. And then I
- 10:14Speaker 2: passed it on to Jordan, who used to be a
- 10:17Speaker 2: producer at Watch Happens Live. So then her son got
- 10:20Speaker 2: to wear the rails overalls. Anyway, it's just delightful. So
- 10:25Speaker 2: I really need to get there, And I was we're
- 10:28Speaker 2: going to put that on our vision board for I
- 10:30Speaker 2: would just say, let's be realistic in saye twenty twenty five.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Great, okay, down down to closes down?
- 10:36Speaker 5: Did you remember a Mic being present?
- 10:39Speaker 4: Was he?
- 10:40Speaker 3: I feel like I know Mike. I feel that Mike
- 10:43Speaker 3: was there and popped in and he was wearing a suit,
- 10:45Speaker 3: and I was like, oh that ha, Like now like
- 10:46Speaker 3: we'recalling back, I'm like that had to have been Mic. Yeah,
- 10:50Speaker 3: I got it. And he's exactly the way that you think.
- 10:53Speaker 3: He looks exactly like what you picture.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Amazing. Okay, good good, We're going to make out when
- 11:00Speaker 2: I see him. He's my all past careers.
- 11:09Speaker 5: You and Brad I signed off on it.
- 11:11Speaker 2: We're gonna couple up. We're gonna recouple and a couple
- 11:14Speaker 2: off with microrails. We are talking about surreal life today.
- 11:18Speaker 2: But before we get into that, just a little bit
- 11:20Speaker 2: of dish to serve up serving. So, guys, I don't
- 11:25Speaker 2: know if you saw in the news, but this is
- 11:26Speaker 2: incredible news. So Julia from Miami and her wife Martina
- 11:34Speaker 2: adopted two boys.
- 11:37Speaker 5: No, yes, I heard it yesterday. I'm so excited.
- 11:42Speaker 3: I have chills. Look I have chills. Can you see
- 11:45Speaker 3: my arm?
- 11:46Speaker 2: Yes you do. I I got emotional about that too,
- 11:51Speaker 2: just thinking about Julia's journey with children and and what
- 11:57Speaker 2: a great nurturer she is in general to all people,
- 12:01Speaker 2: and how badly she wanted to have more kids, and
- 12:06Speaker 2: the journey Martina going through cancer and that thwarted them adopting,
- 12:11Speaker 2: and it's just so exciting. And I can only imagine
- 12:15Speaker 2: that we're going to get all this on on camera
- 12:17Speaker 2: for Miami that I.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Hope so or maybe not hard to say, you know, Jesus, No,
- 12:26Speaker 4: just you know, you wonder like to these two kids.
- 12:29Speaker 4: I don't know how old they are. Maybe if they're
- 12:31Speaker 4: not babies, let's give them a beat.
- 12:34Speaker 2: You know right, yes, yes, you're saying absolutely right. Yeah,
- 12:39Speaker 2: thanks for looking out for the kids, Dianna.
- 12:41Speaker 3: I wasn't like amies, get those little shits on display.
- 12:46Speaker 2: I want to say, on display on display. I can't
- 12:51Speaker 2: wait for Miami to just pop back on our screen.
- 12:53Speaker 2: It's not gonna happen until twenty twenty, twenty twenty five,
- 12:55Speaker 2: probably more like January ish, who knows. But we are
- 12:59Speaker 2: getting New York coming back very soon. I believe it's October,
- 13:03Speaker 2: and I want to say Salt Lake City. Wait, I
- 13:07Speaker 2: don't know when New York is coming back. New York
- 13:09Speaker 2: and Salt Lake City are coming back very soon. I'm
- 13:12Speaker 2: a little unclear on the dates.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Anybody know we got the trailer from New York a
- 13:17Speaker 4: couple days ago.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Yes, okay, so then that's gonna come out sooner than
- 13:21Speaker 2: Salt Lake City. Yeah, yeah, correct you What did you
- 13:26Speaker 2: guys think of the trailer? Did you watch it? Chris?
- 13:29Speaker 3: I still haven't seen it. I just got back from
- 13:32Speaker 3: shooting something like yesterday and then went to the baseball game,
- 13:35Speaker 3: so I'm like still like recovering from basically, Yeah.
- 13:40Speaker 2: So you're shooting like not housewives stuff, or maybe Housewives stuff.
- 13:43Speaker 2: But we'll never know.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Huh wow, Well you'll never know till something gets announced.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Oh my god, this cool dem Did you watch the trailer?
- 13:55Speaker 5: I did. I watched the trailer.
- 13:57Speaker 4: There's a strong pigeon theme that's draped throughout.
- 14:03Speaker 5: Did you watch it?
- 14:04Speaker 3: In me? Yeah? Come again, A pigeon theme, maybe.
- 14:10Speaker 5: One to pigeons, maybe maybe too many, and.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Perhaps some filters on those pigeons, which I don't know.
- 14:19Speaker 5: You felt you felt the pigeons were filtered.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Yeah, they look better than they should look. No, I'm kidding.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I don't know. Just they just they had a CPI.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I don't know if it was like a it was
- 14:28Speaker 2: a tone, of course, it was a it was a
- 14:30Speaker 2: flashback to their pigeon hood. But Rebecca Minkoff, you know
- 14:37Speaker 2: this whole thing. Boy, she's getting dragged for having her
- 14:40Speaker 2: stuff in Nordstrom rack and I say, good for you.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Real Housewives of New York love that drama. However, see
- 14:46Speaker 2: you over at the rack?
- 14:47Speaker 3: So yeah, like that's where you make the money. That's
- 14:51Speaker 3: where you make the money, I'm sorry to tell you.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Like when Sonia got in Centry, mean when we were.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Well so mm hmmm, well that's because yeah, I mean
- 15:03Speaker 4: that was a different journey, you know, ultimately, how dare
- 15:09Speaker 4: you it was? I have been a listener of Minkof's
- 15:16Speaker 4: podcast for a very long time, Superwoman, Are you serious?
- 15:20Speaker 5: M oh, very good time.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Oh wow, you are really going to be coming into
- 15:24Speaker 2: the season with a lot of knowledge, a lot of background,
- 15:27Speaker 2: okay and listening.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Well, I know that you know, she had a bag
- 15:31Speaker 4: her like her bag with that kind of like rocker
- 15:35Speaker 4: uh it kind of has like some EDGI or hardware
- 15:37Speaker 4: on it.
- 15:37Speaker 5: Cool looking.
- 15:38Speaker 4: I like the look of her bags, but she had
- 15:41Speaker 4: been given advice to drop the price point on it,
- 15:46Speaker 4: and I would I feel I can speak for her
- 15:49Speaker 4: to say that that was a very big mistake because
- 15:53Speaker 4: it was set to be and she's been in business
- 15:55Speaker 4: a really long time, and I think her bag was
- 15:58Speaker 4: really right underneath. It could have been right underneath like
- 16:03Speaker 4: the big guys in terms of the price point. So
- 16:09Speaker 4: I know she's been struggling with that for quite some time.
- 16:11Speaker 2: And she's kind of like a Kate Spade, now, you
- 16:16Speaker 2: know when you say she's more leaning towards a Spade
- 16:19Speaker 2: than you know, uh, well, obviously Chanel, that's even way.
- 16:23Speaker 2: That's way further up, but even McCarthy astell coach.
- 16:31Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't.
- 16:33Speaker 4: I would love to know what the price points are exactly,
- 16:35Speaker 4: but she's probably in a Michael Corre's coach area, maybe
- 16:38Speaker 4: a little bit lower, maybe Mabe.
- 16:42Speaker 5: We'd have to like run the numbers on that, but I.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Mean, I didn't wager a bet that she's a little
- 16:48Speaker 2: bit above the Michael core is ready to wear stuff,
- 16:51Speaker 2: you know, ready to ready to carry, ready to carry,
- 16:55Speaker 2: ready to first, ready to carry sponsor. Yeah, okay, So anyway,
- 17:02Speaker 2: excited about New York. It's gonna be so great having
- 17:05Speaker 2: another Housewives show back on there. The way it looks
- 17:09Speaker 2: just looks like they just look fresh, these women and
- 17:12Speaker 2: just so hard New York and I love it. And
- 17:15Speaker 2: how do you feel about that, Chris? Just looking at
- 17:17Speaker 2: just the promo pictures in general, like the red background
- 17:19Speaker 2: and they're all wearing black and they're just like we're
- 17:21Speaker 2: New Yorkers.
- 17:23Speaker 3: I controversially, I really liked Ci like SI was my
- 17:29Speaker 3: favorite of season one, and I know that many people
- 17:32Speaker 3: were like, ow, I don't like her, and I was like, no,
- 17:35Speaker 3: she actually is like doing something for me. So I'm
- 17:38Speaker 3: excited for her to be back.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no, And I thought she got it. She's
- 17:42Speaker 2: great your sexless life.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I really like just yell a lot. Yeah, I
- 17:46Speaker 3: don't know, I like a lot of people. I don't know.
- 17:48Speaker 3: A lot of people thought she yelled too much whatever,
- 17:50Speaker 3: and I was like, I'm watching a TV show here,
- 17:51Speaker 3: so I need to see someone say what we all
- 17:54Speaker 3: are thinking. And she was that was her for me,
- 17:56Speaker 3: and I was into that, and it was yeah, we'll see.
- 18:00Speaker 3: I'm very j I mean, I'm very biased because I
- 18:03Speaker 3: worked on four seasons of the you know OG New York,
- 18:06Speaker 3: so it's hard to Yeah, they're very different shows, but
- 18:09Speaker 3: I'm excited to watch and I'm excited to see.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Good for you for keeping your heart and your mind open,
- 18:14Speaker 2: because that would be very difficult, you know.
- 18:17Speaker 3: I mean I'm a viewer. Yeah, yeah, I'm a viewer.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Yeah. So you guys speaking of like new shows there.
- 18:26Speaker 2: I don't know if you follow this mom talk drama
- 18:29Speaker 2: when it happened on TikTok, these Mormon mom influencers, but
- 18:35Speaker 2: they are getting their They have their own show coming
- 18:38Speaker 2: out on Hulu and it'll be coming out soon. It's
- 18:42Speaker 2: called The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and Their whole
- 18:47Speaker 2: thing on TikTok. It's like there's these young moms, like
- 18:51Speaker 2: super young moms that are all Mormon, and they're all
- 18:53Speaker 2: like wearing the latest sweats, and they all have this
- 18:56Speaker 2: long hair, and they're all super hot, and they all
- 18:58Speaker 2: have little babies and they're all merry. And then they
- 19:01Speaker 2: were like they created mom talk. Then it all fell
- 19:06Speaker 2: apart because they were having so much fun and they
- 19:08Speaker 2: all started swinging with each other.
- 19:11Speaker 3: My friend worked on the show said that the women
- 19:15Speaker 3: are wild and are like revealing shit that is like
- 19:18Speaker 3: blowing your head back, you know what I mean, blowing
- 19:20Speaker 3: your hair back. And so I will be watching and
- 19:23Speaker 3: I feel like, well we will. I think the three
- 19:24Speaker 3: of us will actually be exactly right here talking about
- 19:27Speaker 3: it very soon.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Oh thank you, yeah, thank you. Because I saw the
- 19:32Speaker 2: trailer and my god, it looks good.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Yeah ding dong, Yeah, here we are.
- 19:38Speaker 4: I will say that trailer was sent to me a
- 19:40Speaker 4: couple different ways, really popping up, and.
- 19:43Speaker 5: I didn't look. I wasn't in the mood.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Sure you have to be right, Okay, I.
- 19:48Speaker 5: Just thought, who are these people? What network?
- 19:53Speaker 3: Right?
- 19:53Speaker 6: You know what I mean?
- 19:55Speaker 4: If they're not on Peak app, how am I going
- 19:58Speaker 4: to make my way. You know, these are your thoughts
- 20:00Speaker 4: I have initially like.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Correct when you get like a you know, when I
- 20:04Speaker 3: saw like Secrets and Lies of Grand Cayman, I was
- 20:07Speaker 3: like when I watched like three episodes of that show,
- 20:12Speaker 3: and I was like, what is this? And it was Yeah,
- 20:15Speaker 3: when you don't have the Bravo slash peak and not
- 20:17Speaker 3: to just like toot my own horn, yeah, we're used
- 20:20Speaker 3: to We're accustomed to a certain type of show, and
- 20:22Speaker 3: when others try to replicate it, sometimes you're like, hm,
- 20:26Speaker 3: not a choice I would have made, but okay, and
- 20:28Speaker 3: then you just you know, sometimes it doesn't always work out.
- 20:32Speaker 3: This one I have. I have some faith and I'm
- 20:34Speaker 3: not going.
- 20:35Speaker 2: To wow, well, listen, Deanna, if you're not going to
- 20:37Speaker 2: listen to the people who sent it to me as
- 20:40Speaker 2: one and.
- 20:42Speaker 5: I watched it, you sent it, Oh you did.
- 20:45Speaker 4: Watch it, okay, And I was so I was ignoring
- 20:49Speaker 4: it or ignoring it, and then you sent it.
- 20:51Speaker 5: I was like, all right, Amy's hype about it, let
- 20:53Speaker 5: me go look.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Yeah, And the line that really got me was regarding
- 20:58Speaker 4: their uh you know, partner swapping, was swapping in front
- 21:04Speaker 4: of each other, standing next to each other.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Oh, that's right, you did quote that. You did text
- 21:10Speaker 2: that right back? Actually swapping in front of each other.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Yeah, standing next to each other.
- 21:18Speaker 5: I just what a workaround?
- 21:20Speaker 3: You know.
- 21:21Speaker 4: It's that's the Mormon for you. It's like, we're not all.
- 21:27Speaker 5: We will all be in the room.
- 21:30Speaker 2: The same way.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Yeah no, and like gotta keep an eye on it.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Do you know what I'm saying? Like, can't just need
- 21:39Speaker 3: to have tabs? Yeah?
- 21:41Speaker 4: Right, yeah, Like the husbands are like, hold on now, yeah,
- 21:45Speaker 4: I'm open to this son, start there.
- 21:48Speaker 5: But here's a twist.
- 21:50Speaker 4: You're not gonna take my wife over to your house
- 21:53Speaker 4: and have your way and I'll have my No, we
- 21:56Speaker 4: will all be in the same room.
- 21:57Speaker 5: I'm gonna set a timer.
- 21:59Speaker 4: We're all gonna do our business standing up and next
- 22:04Speaker 4: to each other so we can.
- 22:06Speaker 5: Yeah, very that's strange as hell.
- 22:10Speaker 3: But like needs to be above board, do you know
- 22:12Speaker 3: what I mean? Even in their swinging, they're like, we
- 22:14Speaker 3: must be like, you know, all above board in the situation.
- 22:18Speaker 2: You know what it tells me. It says to me,
- 22:20Speaker 2: just broad strokes, just the cult mentality, the mob mentality
- 22:25Speaker 2: that when you're all doing something, you're all doing something.
- 22:29Speaker 2: You know, what I'm saying, like much like many cults,
- 22:31Speaker 2: like it's you do it all together, because if one
- 22:34Speaker 2: person that you follow the lead of that and and
- 22:36Speaker 2: much with this, you know, that's kind of the way
- 22:39Speaker 2: it went. I remember when yeah, go.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Ahead and like it's like, oh, this one's doing like
- 22:45Speaker 3: splits or like this one's on a handstack, you know
- 22:47Speaker 3: what I mean, Like this one's doing is getting wild
- 22:50Speaker 3: and like kind of going out of the purview of
- 22:52Speaker 3: the like boring sex. You know what I'm saying, Like
- 22:55Speaker 3: if one of them is like up to stuff like
- 22:56Speaker 3: that's then they know, you know what I'm saying, because
- 22:58Speaker 3: then that's.
- 22:59Speaker 4: Bad up stuff right right right right right by the way, Chris,
- 23:04Speaker 4: you have come into clear focus just about thirty seconds ago,
- 23:08Speaker 4: which is delightful, Like you were he was in.
- 23:11Speaker 2: And out for me.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Yeah, for some reason, my internet is in the dark ages,
- 23:15Speaker 3: and I don't know why because I pay a lot
- 23:16Speaker 3: of money for it, so I don't know what's happening.
- 23:18Speaker 3: I'm in a technical difficulty situation today, and I'm really
- 23:22Speaker 3: just sorry about it.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Like it's like your face just came into clear focus
- 23:26Speaker 4: and I'm enjoying it.
- 23:27Speaker 3: That's all, Okay, thank you. Well, the first time, do
- 23:29Speaker 3: you want to hear a funny story, Amy, The first
- 23:31Speaker 3: time Deanna and I met in person. I walk into
- 23:35Speaker 3: a restaurant and she's there and she's like, oh wow wow.
- 23:39Speaker 3: I mean, like everyone gets up and we're all hugging,
- 23:40Speaker 3: and she goes wow wow. And then she grabs me
- 23:42Speaker 3: by the shoulders, pushes me within shoulders like arms length
- 23:46Speaker 3: the way, looking into my eyes, just going wow wow.
- 23:51Speaker 3: I was like, oh wow, I seemingly blinded by my beauty.
- 23:57Speaker 2: So well, of course I need you drinking you in,
- 24:01Speaker 2: drinking you.
- 24:01Speaker 3: In, so truly drinking me in. And I was maybe
- 24:05Speaker 3: one of the only people that's ever done that to me.
- 24:07Speaker 2: But yes, well that's our Dana. She's a she's a
- 24:09Speaker 2: deep she's a deep person. She's expressive. She's gonna show
- 24:13Speaker 2: you how she feels. You know, she's passionate for better
- 24:17Speaker 2: or for worse, for better or worse. Oh so I
- 24:20Speaker 2: know we're going to talk about obviously, like I mentioned,

- 28:27Speaker 2: So christ Rosa, you we wrangled you into this and
- 28:32Speaker 2: now you've seen maybe one. Have you just seen episode five?
- 28:35Speaker 3: You know you wrangled me as in I said, I
- 28:38Speaker 3: think I need to come up like I like book
- 28:40Speaker 3: myself on your show from myself your booker. That doesn't exist.
- 28:44Speaker 3: But that's actually what happened. But if that's what you
- 28:46Speaker 3: mean by you wrangled me into this, then yes, you
- 28:48Speaker 3: wrangled be.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Well, thank god we did, because I can't wait to
- 28:51Speaker 2: get your hot tags on this. Had you?
- 28:54Speaker 3: I watched every episode?
- 28:55Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you really did it, didn't you.
- 28:58Speaker 3: I'm up to speeding. I watched the first couple because
- 29:01Speaker 3: I did k Casey's podcast and did the first couple
- 29:03Speaker 3: of episodes, and yes, we had three to watch today
- 29:06Speaker 3: to be caught up. And now I'm up to speak.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Amazing. Are you a chethead? Because you're talking to chetheads?
- 29:12Speaker 3: Oh? Chat for President Chat President. I said on my
- 29:18Speaker 3: show that I think chet Hanks should play Kevin Fetterline
- 29:21Speaker 3: and the Britney Spears.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Oh movie, wow, stop it. I just had a banana
- 29:28Speaker 2: clip and I threw it across the freaking desk.
- 29:31Speaker 3: Are you like, who else? Who else is going to
- 29:34Speaker 3: do this?
- 29:39Speaker 2: Because I've seen, I mean, they're always doing a Britney something,
- 29:42Speaker 2: but haven't you seen recently some page six pop ups
- 29:46Speaker 2: like who's going to play Britney? And then they do
- 29:48Speaker 2: like a side guy side. Is there something in the
- 29:51Speaker 2: works about a biopic for her, like another one or
- 29:54Speaker 2: a recent one?
- 29:55Speaker 3: Yes, no, there's basically she sold the rights to her
- 29:59Speaker 3: book her memory are to universal and they're like getting
- 30:03Speaker 3: going on it.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Oh, okay, I'm a woman now or what's the name
- 30:07Speaker 2: of it?
- 30:08Speaker 3: The Woman in Me?
- 30:09Speaker 2: Thank you?
- 30:11Speaker 3: A book I've read multiple times.
- 30:13Speaker 5: Yeah, you're dealing with a.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Yeah, you're dealing with a fan. You're you're dealing with
- 30:17Speaker 3: a fan here.
- 30:18Speaker 2: As you as we all should. And I am a
- 30:20Speaker 2: fan also, yes, so and so for that, I like
- 30:25Speaker 2: that you're putting this out here out there because who knows,
- 30:28Speaker 2: it might it might be another god thing, like He's
- 30:31Speaker 2: on the Surreal Life now casting is watching, and maybe
- 30:35Speaker 2: they'll have the same idea that you have and put
- 30:37Speaker 2: him in this thing.
- 30:39Speaker 3: I mean, who, I don't know who else could do? It?
- 30:42Speaker 3: Is my thing? I am.
- 30:45Speaker 2: No, STA can't do everything. Guys can get it? Can
- 30:48Speaker 2: we get over?
- 30:50Speaker 4: I mean, honestly, honestly, sorry, I think he's going to
- 30:54Speaker 4: try to take a swing at it.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Well, we need a white person that will be able
- 30:59Speaker 3: to have corn rows and.
- 31:01Speaker 5: Be okay, Yeah, and that is that slimmer runway.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's very slim. It's the slimmest of runways. It
- 31:10Speaker 3: should which it should be, by the way. But yes, again,
- 31:15Speaker 3: Chat is ready to go. I mean, I just don't
- 31:18Speaker 3: know who do I have to call Universal? Do I
- 31:20Speaker 3: call NBC proper? And just.
- 31:25Speaker 5: Listen.
- 31:26Speaker 4: The last rita white man who cornrows in his hair
- 31:30Speaker 4: that I can remember is James Franco, and he's certainly
- 31:35Speaker 4: out of the running these es. Sure, God, for Chet
- 31:40Speaker 4: to have moved into first position is so.
- 31:43Speaker 5: Shocking, I mean, out chats in like, Wow, I.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Can't believe how attracted I am to Chet Hanks, Like.
- 31:55Speaker 3: I would have stayed with him in front of I mean.
- 31:58Speaker 2: You would standing up next to each just like yes, yes, yes, yeah,
- 32:05Speaker 2: it's crazy. Do you think that he looks like Tom
- 32:08Speaker 2: Hanks and Rita Wilson. Deanna doesn't see it. I do.
- 32:11Speaker 3: I don't at all.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Okay, I see it.
- 32:15Speaker 3: But this is the thing. I'm it's so funny because
- 32:18Speaker 3: it's like, Okay, we have zero Jamaican accent. He's not
- 32:22Speaker 3: like being weird. Like remember when he was on Z Way. Yeah,
- 32:25Speaker 3: it was like it was like this person needs to
- 32:28Speaker 3: be in like put in a mental institution for the
- 32:30Speaker 3: rest of his life. Do you know what I mean?
- 32:31Speaker 3: It was like yadness.
- 32:32Speaker 2: It was disturbing. Was he on then drugs allegedly at
- 32:36Speaker 2: that time?
- 32:36Speaker 3: I don't know. I think that. I think they were
- 32:38Speaker 3: like give it your give it your all, and he was.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Like yeah, and he went with a character and leaned into.
- 32:43Speaker 3: It and she was like and she was like you
- 32:47Speaker 3: and I think he knew that it was like satire,
- 32:49Speaker 3: and so he's like, let me just be the fucking
- 32:50Speaker 3: craziest version of myself and she's gonna love that, which
- 32:53Speaker 3: she did, by the Yeah, yeah, And it was amazing.
- 32:55Speaker 3: It was incredible television. But now we're on the Surreal
- 32:58Speaker 3: Life and it's supposed to be getting real, and he's
- 33:00Speaker 3: getting real.
- 33:01Speaker 2: He's getting real. Yes, I'm about to be born again,
- 33:08Speaker 2: just because I mean like I'm like, he if he's
- 33:11Speaker 2: gonna get up there, like that's how what happened the
- 33:13Speaker 2: first time was through a guy, you know what I mean, Like,
- 33:15Speaker 2: clearly I'm right for the picking.
- 33:17Speaker 4: But this is like, oh Jesus Christ, we got to
- 33:21Speaker 4: keep an eye on you.
- 33:24Speaker 5: This is not your first rodeo.
- 33:26Speaker 2: No, it's not. Well, I was in high school. I
- 33:28Speaker 2: was in high school.
- 33:29Speaker 4: Honestly, though, Amy, this isn't a safe show for you
- 33:33Speaker 4: to recap.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Season two of the Mormon Wives show. It's Amy standing
- 33:39Speaker 3: Amy and Jenn Haanks standing there there.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Well, I mean, listen, I am this is safe because
- 33:45Speaker 2: I've had my own spiritual journey, and I mean clearly
- 33:47Speaker 2: I'm not in that anymore. I've learned. I've had a
- 33:50Speaker 2: very amazing spiritual journey, which I mean no rashag, no richettes,
- 33:57Speaker 2: get it, no regrets, and no richet please don't go,
- 34:00Speaker 2: don't go. No, No, there's more where that comes from.
- 34:04Speaker 2: But uh, you know, I just really feel like that
- 34:07Speaker 2: when he stands up and he's gonna give it to God.
- 34:09Speaker 2: I'm gonna give it ripe to God too, and I
- 34:11Speaker 2: will just all day be like, yes, that is what
- 34:14Speaker 2: Jesus says, And I believe that.
- 34:15Speaker 5: For sure, for sure.
- 34:17Speaker 4: No, I mean like, I'm so happy you know that
- 34:21Speaker 4: he has Jesus truly, truly, truly no jokes.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Oh my god, No, I know. And we did go
- 34:26Speaker 2: deep last week, maybe a little bit too far, but
- 34:30Speaker 2: but I do feel like and we celebrate that for him,
- 34:33Speaker 2: and it really means a lot to him. Clearly hearing
- 34:37Speaker 2: his sobriety story, having that like bender in Vegas, you guys.
- 34:44Speaker 3: It was, Yeah, that was wild to just hear, like, oh,
- 34:49Speaker 3: I was like, stayed up for three days, didn't drink
- 34:51Speaker 3: any water and lost like thirty that's like ten pounds
- 34:54Speaker 3: a day that he lost, Like how is that even possible?
- 34:57Speaker 4: I don't know, but I believe it, like I would
- 35:00Speaker 4: ever was going on in that Vegas with that cocaine.
- 35:02Speaker 5: He was really mm hmm. And you even just.
- 35:07Speaker 4: So the z Way thing was like two years ago,
- 35:11Speaker 4: I believe.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Okay, so then he may have very well been still,
- 35:16Speaker 2: he may not have been sober yet because if he
- 35:18Speaker 2: said by the time they were shooting this it was
- 35:20Speaker 2: his Oh no, my math is off. Maybe he was sober.
- 35:24Speaker 4: Sorry, Dana, you probably no, no, no, but you know
- 35:27Speaker 4: he's so much smaller than so I don't know if
- 35:30Speaker 4: I think he's put a lot of this energy into
- 35:32Speaker 4: that baddi badiadi and it's.
- 35:35Speaker 5: Working out, you know, it's it's uh his you know, look, you.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Know, yeah, much to Kim ZOLESI acts great to light by.
- 35:43Speaker 4: The way, guys, I can't with Kim.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Oh I can all day?
- 35:50Speaker 3: I can, I really can? I can again, and I can't.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Yes we can, Yes, we can't.
- 35:57Speaker 3: Yes, she's wait, wait very clearly before we get to Kim,
- 36:02Speaker 3: I need to write read you one of my notes
- 36:04Speaker 3: that said, how dare they? When Chat is talking about
- 36:07Speaker 3: his cocaine usage, they cut immediately to Macy Gray's face
- 36:10Speaker 3: and it's just a two seconds toot of Macy Gray.
- 36:13Speaker 2: She was like, oh god, I did not.
- 36:16Speaker 4: Yeah, they did a couple of cutaways that were shady
- 36:18Speaker 4: as fuck. That one yeah, where he's like currently using here, Yeah,
- 36:24Speaker 4: and then I have it.
- 36:27Speaker 3: She's like, we're She's like, one, we're in Columbia and
- 36:29Speaker 3: two I have it with me right now.
- 36:33Speaker 4: Envy the other nasty nasty nasty one was I forget
- 36:39Speaker 4: who said it, but they were just going through like
- 36:42Speaker 4: who we have here in the house. It's like we
- 36:44Speaker 4: have young, we have old, we have singers, we have this,
- 36:47Speaker 4: we have old and it was Kim and I was.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Like, oh my god. Well when LT was like, we're
- 36:56Speaker 2: you know, you're my elder, you're older than me. We're
- 36:58Speaker 2: different generations, I was like, Okay, I'm starting to get offended, Like, oh,
- 37:02Speaker 2: let's relax, you know, but I get it. I mean
- 37:05Speaker 2: it's very they're right, well, but young and old he is.
- 37:09Speaker 5: I had to go go look it up because I'm like.
- 37:11Speaker 3: Are you you know you're like fifty.
- 37:14Speaker 4: Yeah, so Macy's fifty six and he's thirty seven. He
- 37:19Speaker 4: is a very hard Yeah hard, that's a hard thirty seven.
- 37:24Speaker 2: And he explained it. Boy, yeah, it was intense.
- 37:27Speaker 4: YEP. I cannot wait to talk about that because, yeah,
- 37:32Speaker 4: I talk about it, unders stood it. You know what,
- 37:35Speaker 4: what I keep asking myself the question which I probably
- 37:38Speaker 4: shouldn't be asking, but what's the point of this, like
- 37:40Speaker 4: what are we doing here? I'm just trying to get
- 37:43Speaker 4: a handle on the show, like the this is my
- 37:45Speaker 4: first this is my you know, since I don't think
- 37:47Speaker 4: I've watched a tip to tail for the Flavor Flave
- 37:49Speaker 4: times and that was just like flavor flav and Bridget
- 37:53Speaker 4: like there was nothing else. But I was like, what
- 37:56Speaker 4: is this show?
- 37:56Speaker 5: Like, you know what I mean?
- 37:59Speaker 4: And that whole journey between him and Macy Gray was
- 38:08Speaker 4: I think that that growth. That moment, the fact that
- 38:13Speaker 4: they both went there and got it out, was like, Oh,
- 38:18Speaker 4: this is a show about like trying to get better
- 38:22Speaker 4: in life, right yeah.
- 38:24Speaker 3: I My note is this convo about the N word
- 38:28Speaker 3: is what this show is. It's very vintage real world,
- 38:31Speaker 3: Like it's two different people. It's different yea that like
- 38:35Speaker 3: two different people of different with different opinions coming together
- 38:38Speaker 3: and understanding each other versus fighting because they have different
- 38:43Speaker 3: opinions and like wanting.
- 38:44Speaker 2: To right amazing and you don't you don't know what's
- 38:47Speaker 2: going to happen. That's what they're banking on. That's why
- 38:50Speaker 2: the show works because something is inevitably going to work
- 38:54Speaker 2: itself out because you're getting these all these different people
- 38:57Speaker 2: from different walks of life and and young and older.
- 39:01Speaker 2: So that was and you said, you said it right,
- 39:04Speaker 2: you got it in that moment and the fact that
- 39:07Speaker 2: They both were struggling with their own triggers and recognizing
- 39:13Speaker 2: their own triggers to one another at different times. Be
- 39:17Speaker 2: it five minutes apart, like Macy said her piece, he
- 39:20Speaker 2: took it in. Then five minutes went by and he
- 39:23Speaker 2: was like, I have a problem with this. Then he
- 39:25Speaker 2: went to her and then she had to accept that
- 39:28Speaker 2: and then take a step back. It was really an
- 39:32Speaker 2: incredible thing to see.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Yeah, and it was like, we don't see that on
- 39:35Speaker 3: TV anymore.
- 39:37Speaker 4: No, Vindage, Real World is such a good freaking call,
- 39:40Speaker 4: because that is it. It's like we're all in the house
- 39:44Speaker 4: from these different walks of life, and you may think
- 39:47Speaker 4: that there's similarities, but were coming from totally different paths.
- 39:53Speaker 5: What I laughed at so hard.
- 39:55Speaker 4: And it wasn't it just just reflecting on like my
- 39:58Speaker 4: own life. Were just times I've wanted to conversations with people.
- 40:02Speaker 4: Was you know, she gathered herself up to sit down
- 40:05Speaker 4: and have this conversation with him, and she was she
- 40:09Speaker 4: said what she said, I don't like using being called that.
- 40:11Speaker 5: I don't like that word. I'd only be calling your
- 40:14Speaker 5: black ass. I don't like that.
- 40:16Speaker 4: And he goes okay, and she was like, okay, Well,
- 40:21Speaker 4: what you know, and it just when you do that
- 40:24Speaker 4: in life and you've worked yourself up to need to
- 40:26Speaker 4: sit and have a conversation that okay was genuine. He
- 40:31Speaker 4: was like, got it won't happen again. Okay, you know,
- 40:37Speaker 4: but it was satisfying, okay, you know, like she was like, well, no,
- 40:43Speaker 4: not yet.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I want not only do I want an apology,
- 40:47Speaker 2: but I also want you to understand why that's wrong
- 40:51Speaker 2: for everybody. Because that's where I feel like she was
- 40:54Speaker 2: coming from, Like she kind of wanted to fix him
- 40:55Speaker 2: in that moment, like you don't understand, like this isn't
- 40:58Speaker 2: good for anybody. But then I think that she finally
- 41:01Speaker 2: was able to come around like, Okay, it's not about
- 41:03Speaker 2: me fixing him. He's he comes from a different background
- 41:07Speaker 2: than me and expresses himself differently, and that's him. And
- 41:10Speaker 2: I love that she came in later and was like, look,
- 41:12Speaker 2: I don't want to change you. I was like, oh
- 41:14Speaker 2: my god. Like people don't say that, you know, they
- 41:18Speaker 2: just and you know, especially Macy Graham the show, she
- 41:20Speaker 2: has not wanted to talk about feelings. She's wanted. She
- 41:25Speaker 2: shut stuff down left and right.
- 41:27Speaker 4: No, she gave him mentorship, you know, that I cried
- 41:30Speaker 4: with that bar when she was like saying to him,
- 41:35Speaker 4: nobody here, Yes, this is the baggage you carry, you know,
- 41:39Speaker 4: this is your life was difficult, and this is the
- 41:44Speaker 4: baggage you carry. But you today, as you stand here,
- 41:49Speaker 4: you're not the baggage anymore, and you can drop it,
- 41:56Speaker 4: you know, and you can like come in as you
- 41:59Speaker 4: are are today and not hold all of that with
- 42:03Speaker 4: you in every moment. Yeah, And I was like, wow,
- 42:07Speaker 4: that's so major. It was true like leadership and mentorship.
- 42:12Speaker 2: She because she took it from a place of I
- 42:14Speaker 2: don't like that. This is getting me. My head is
- 42:17Speaker 2: burning every time you say these words too. Here's where
- 42:21Speaker 2: you could rise above, you know, you know. I mean
- 42:24Speaker 2: however that she put it, I mean you couldn't argue
- 42:27Speaker 2: with that, and the fact that he heard her.
- 42:30Speaker 3: They hurt each other.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Which is so much.
- 42:32Speaker 3: And it was coming from a place of like mutual
- 42:35Speaker 3: respect versus like I want to get it in an
- 42:37Speaker 3: argument with you.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Thank god totally because he was mad, you know, he
- 42:42Speaker 2: was triggered. I got it, Like I mean, it's like
- 42:45Speaker 2: it's it is like having someone tell you don't be you. Yeah,
- 42:52Speaker 2: and that's that hurts and that's triggering. Were you gonna
- 42:55Speaker 2: say something Chris.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Now, Like I just there's a world in which he
- 42:59Speaker 3: was kind of like I'm allowed to do all of
- 43:01Speaker 3: this stuff because I survived all of this stuff, and
- 43:04Speaker 3: it's like that just doesn't which is like which I
- 43:07Speaker 3: was never that wouldn't be like that made I was
- 43:11Speaker 3: like as a view where I was like, oh wow,
- 43:13Speaker 3: that's really cool and like made me think and made
- 43:17Speaker 3: me put myself in that made me do that. Do
- 43:19Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying? And it's like it's actually
- 43:21Speaker 3: not an act to try to be cool. It's about
- 43:25Speaker 3: this is like my experience in the world, and this
- 43:27Speaker 3: is how I feel the same, you know what I mean.
- 43:28Speaker 3: It was very and especially as a white person being
- 43:31Speaker 3: like I don't know anything about this, so let me
- 43:32Speaker 3: at least like listen to this. It was that it
- 43:35Speaker 3: was very in back in the day on this real
- 43:38Speaker 3: life Like that's what the show was about, was like
- 43:40Speaker 3: these people understanding each other. I mean, Bridget Nielsen and
- 43:44Speaker 3: Flavor Flave like got a spin off where they were
- 43:46Speaker 3: like quote unquote in love with each other because they
- 43:49Speaker 3: were like basically the odd couple that had nothing, had
- 43:52Speaker 3: no mutual had no like common ground to stand on
- 43:56Speaker 3: other than the fact that they were both somewhat celebrities,
- 43:58Speaker 3: and they like were in love with each other huge
- 44:02Speaker 3: air quotes, but like fell in love on the show
- 44:06Speaker 3: because they had to understand each other.
- 44:10Speaker 2: And your your example, Chris about it being like the
- 44:13Speaker 2: real world is just phenomenal. I'm sorry for you her
- 44:16Speaker 2: drilling in the back. But Deanna, You're gonna die when
- 44:20Speaker 2: you hear what why there's drilling? Are you ready?
- 44:24Speaker 3: You know?
- 44:25Speaker 2: Okay, we are getting our chords from our TV. Put
- 44:30Speaker 2: head wall.
- 44:36Speaker 5: That's nice your ass amy.
- 44:39Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, you did not. I just for context, everyone,
- 44:45Speaker 2: Deanna is really if you were in the house in
- 44:48Speaker 2: the Pink House in Colombia with Dianna and someone showed
- 44:53Speaker 2: you if they if say, I showed her a picture
- 44:55Speaker 2: of my TV and there was a lot of chords
- 44:57Speaker 2: around it, she would handle you in such a way
- 45:01Speaker 2: like LT and Macy like there'd be walkouts, there'd be
- 45:04Speaker 2: walking back and they She would be like, I need
- 45:06Speaker 2: to understand why you think this is okay, handle your cords.
- 45:09Speaker 3: You know.
- 45:11Speaker 5: I know that.
- 45:13Speaker 2: No, it's fine. That being said, We've we've lived in
- 45:15Speaker 2: this house for almost three years and there it's something
- 45:21Speaker 2: that we haven't done, and we have wanted to do it,
- 45:27Speaker 2: and finally it's happening.
- 45:29Speaker 4: And here's the thing, guys, I'm not saying you have
- 45:33Speaker 4: to open the wall up, definitely.
- 45:36Speaker 5: What I am.
- 45:37Speaker 4: Saying is that you do have to think about cable management.
- 45:42Speaker 5: That is actually what I'm saying.
- 45:46Speaker 4: You can get one of the if do you have
- 45:47Speaker 4: your TV mounted on the on the wall, you can
- 45:50Speaker 4: get one of those white covers that go down and
- 45:53Speaker 4: cover that. But what we saw, we've seen several times
- 45:57Speaker 4: and I'm just like, you have brought a camera crew
- 45:59Speaker 4: in to your home and you have not wrangled them chords.
- 46:04Speaker 4: And that's like Gina her cords was crazy.
- 46:09Speaker 2: What do you expect from me? I mean, I've been
- 46:12Speaker 2: going through it.
- 46:14Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, Jen should have slapped her with them,
- 46:17Speaker 4: Like what about your cable management?
- 46:19Speaker 5: You know, like Jen could have.
- 46:20Speaker 3: Yeah. Can I do a quick detour and say that
- 46:26Speaker 3: I'm loving OC so much. It's like, yeah, I'm eating
- 46:29Speaker 3: it up, eating it up, and I for once, Shannon
- 46:33Speaker 3: is like firing in all cylinders and it's like everything
- 46:37Speaker 3: checking everyone, like I know, I'm I know, I'm weeks
- 46:42Speaker 3: weeks behind. But when she and Alexis Bolino went and
- 46:45Speaker 3: did that first talk and she was like, I know
- 46:47Speaker 3: you're worried that I'm dating your ex boyfriend. And she's like, no,
- 46:49Speaker 3: I'm worried because you and your ex husband sued me.
- 46:52Speaker 3: I was like, Shannon, Oh, I was like giving her
- 46:57Speaker 3: a standing ovation.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Yeah, that's anyway, looks incredible books. I can't wait for
- 47:05Speaker 2: you to catch up, so, I mean, because it's yeah,
- 47:08Speaker 2: it's amazing, incredible.
- 47:09Speaker 5: Are you caught up?
- 47:10Speaker 3: Chris, Oh, I'm cut up. No, I'm cut up. I'm
- 47:13Speaker 3: just going back to episode one that you guys talked
- 47:15Speaker 3: about like a month ago. You know what I mean?
- 47:17Speaker 2: As well?
- 47:18Speaker 3: They just say as far as cable management goes, I specifically,
- 47:23Speaker 3: well not only just as you can see the background
- 47:26Speaker 3: of my apartment, I have exposed bricks, so I can't
- 47:29Speaker 3: even mount a TV there if I wanted to. But like,
- 47:32Speaker 3: the mounting of a television to me is a crime.
- 47:35Speaker 3: I love. I love a TV on a media console,
- 47:40Speaker 3: sure media console, and I love a tall media console.
- 47:45Speaker 3: They don't even exist anymore. Every media console is like
- 47:49Speaker 3: not even a foot talk or and it's nothing. And
- 47:52Speaker 3: I find like the tallest ones that I can on
- 47:54Speaker 3: purpose because I just love them, and I know that's.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Like I I mean, I let me see. Yeah, let's
- 48:01Speaker 2: go over there.
- 48:02Speaker 5: At that Okay, great, perfect, You.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Are so right. I you know what those they're all
- 48:08Speaker 2: so small, they're all so short.
- 48:10Speaker 3: And there and what can I store in there? Nothing? Yeah,
- 48:13Speaker 3: and that small one nothing I need storage.
- 48:17Speaker 4: And they're so expensive. That's the craziest thing about media countil.
- 48:20Speaker 4: It's like they're so expensive and you're like, but what
- 48:23Speaker 4: do you fully do?
- 48:25Speaker 3: Basically, Yeah, this is basically a cardboard box, and like
- 48:28Speaker 3: why do I get Yeah?
- 48:29Speaker 4: And a lot of times, I mean you are mounting,
- 48:33Speaker 4: So if you're not doing what you're doing, it's like, now, really,
- 48:35Speaker 4: what are you?
- 48:36Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 48:39Speaker 2: Because before it was like put your vhs is in there,
- 48:41Speaker 2: put your DVDs. Yeah, but no one's really doing that
- 48:44Speaker 2: now unless you've got like you've got a video you're
- 48:47Speaker 2: a gamer and you're putting your games under there. But
- 48:50Speaker 2: you need the storage to be for the whole room,
- 48:54Speaker 2: for the whole house for you want to use it
- 48:56Speaker 2: for anything you need.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Yeah, Lord, I am so impressed with your appreciation of
- 49:03Speaker 2: a tall media council. This is really gotten niche here
- 49:07Speaker 2: Androma Dar. I'm happy about that.
- 49:09Speaker 3: Speaking of media consoles, can we talk about how absolutely
- 49:13Speaker 3: insane the house decor is in the show. It's really
- 49:16Speaker 3: their kitchen is what is it? Why is there black
- 49:21Speaker 3: walls in the kitchen? Like I don't even understand. It's
- 49:25Speaker 3: also tacky, It's so ugly.
- 49:27Speaker 2: Is it like that every season? Or is this just Columbia?
- 49:30Speaker 3: I okay, this is a hot tip. This is a
- 49:33Speaker 3: hot tip. They allegedly, allegedly, allegedly y via com slash, MTV,
- 49:41Speaker 3: slash whatever, built this house in Colombia because the tax
- 49:47Speaker 3: incentives are so good there, and they hire a lot
- 49:51Speaker 3: of local crew. Like remember when Macy Gray was doing
- 49:54Speaker 3: like her scenework with like the audio mixer, Like that's
- 49:57Speaker 3: like a native. I think that man is like from Colombia,
- 49:59Speaker 3: Like do you know what I mean? Like I think
- 50:00Speaker 3: a lot of the crew is like locals.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Remember what mac Gray was doing her?
- 50:06Speaker 3: Okay and that. I think this house is going to
- 50:09Speaker 3: be like the Flavor Flav house that we've seen, Like
- 50:13Speaker 3: there was like Flavor of Love and then it was
- 50:14Speaker 3: I Love New York and then it was I Love
- 50:16Speaker 3: Rock of Love. That it was and it was all
- 50:18Speaker 3: that same house, Like this is the new version of that.
- 50:20Speaker 2: So you're telling us that's what you were shooting yesterday.
- 50:23Speaker 2: You were you just got back you.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Just no no, no, no no, which.
- 50:28Speaker 5: Is hey wee? Yeah, guys, is it OT or LT?
- 50:32Speaker 5: Just checking?
- 50:33Speaker 3: I think it's OT? What?
- 50:35Speaker 2: Oh god? Sorry?
- 50:36Speaker 3: What's his name?
- 50:37Speaker 2: O T?
- 50:40Speaker 3: Yeah, it's OT Genesis.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Oh sorry, guys called him Elt.
- 50:44Speaker 3: Okay, in the younger photos of him though, he's not
- 50:48Speaker 3: that he's not attractive now. But like this old photo
- 50:51Speaker 3: of him from like when he first came out, which
- 50:53Speaker 3: would think is let's say, when was this twenty eighteen? Like, hello,
- 50:58Speaker 3: wait where it wait?
- 51:00Speaker 5: Hold on? Did you show?
- 51:01Speaker 3: It's on Fader? You guys?
- 51:04Speaker 2: I know you all have your bookmarks on Fader.
- 51:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I just it's the first picture that comes up
- 51:09Speaker 3: when you google him, and it's hot.
- 51:13Speaker 4: I enjoy him. I find him may great energy on
- 51:17Speaker 4: the show.
- 51:17Speaker 2: I do too. All right, let's talk about how First
- 51:21Speaker 2: of all, Tyler head bless you, Tyler had tilt is
- 51:27Speaker 2: it has a problem.
- 51:30Speaker 3: It's my first note of the whole episode is despite
- 51:33Speaker 3: all capitals, his terrible clothing line and questionable tattoos, I'm
- 51:36Speaker 3: attracted to Tyler.
- 51:38Speaker 2: Wow, I can't get past it.
- 51:40Speaker 3: But this he's always My sister used to do an
- 51:44Speaker 3: impression of Avery Singer where she would put all of
- 51:47Speaker 3: her hair to one side, and like that is what
- 51:49Speaker 3: Tyler is doing all the time.
- 51:54Speaker 2: What's pulling his head down to the left or the right?
- 51:57Speaker 3: It's he's always even in the And the other thing
- 52:00Speaker 3: I said is that Tyler, where.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Is it even in the cold Plunge? He couldn't even
- 52:06Speaker 2: get that extra.
- 52:07Speaker 3: Yes, I haven't wait, what the fuck? Where is it?
- 52:10Speaker 4: People are really showing off in that plunge with their
- 52:13Speaker 4: total running time?
- 52:14Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 52:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know who got the most total running time?
- 52:18Speaker 2: I don't know. I didn't write down.
- 52:19Speaker 3: I think it was Tyler. I think it was how
- 52:21Speaker 3: I said, cold Plunge. The way Tyler looks at people
- 52:23Speaker 3: is so, to quote Deanna Chang, electric, he always he's
- 52:27Speaker 3: always like pulling someone into his orbit, even when they're
- 52:30Speaker 3: doing the Cold Plunge and the Fifth Harmony girl is
- 52:32Speaker 3: like freaking out. He's giving her bedroom eyes to get
- 52:35Speaker 3: her into the water, versus encouragement like it's I was.
- 52:38Speaker 3: I was catching up and watching the Talent Show or
- 52:42Speaker 3: whatever that Deanna slammed with an inch of its life.
- 52:45Speaker 3: And even when he's like closing the curtain and he's
- 52:47Speaker 3: like looking into the camera, he's like, I'm closing this now.
- 52:51Speaker 3: Like it's like everything is like he's like enticing you
- 52:55Speaker 3: every step of the way. Yes, no matter whether that's oh,
- 52:59Speaker 3: and he's oh, he's enticing me, all right, enticed, I'm enticed.
- 53:04Speaker 2: So he's he's very enticing. I'm not attracted to him
- 53:08Speaker 2: because the head tilt. I can't get past it, and
- 53:10Speaker 2: like you said, I can't get with those tattoos and
- 53:14Speaker 2: the the swoop of his shirt. It's not working.
- 53:18Speaker 3: So it's like even in the first episode, he's like
- 53:22Speaker 3: in that like Chet Hanks runs in and it's like
- 53:23Speaker 3: I'm gonna have to be in this room with you
- 53:25Speaker 3: or whatever, like he's like we're roommates. Are like he
- 53:27Speaker 3: walks into the room and Tyler like, here's the cameras coming,
- 53:30Speaker 3: and he was like.
- 53:32Speaker 4: Stop coquettish, and he looks over and he's like yes,
- 53:36Speaker 4: like everything is just like so sexualized with him, and
- 53:39Speaker 4: like in an innocent way, but in.
- 53:41Speaker 3: Like a like a boy, like a like a teen
- 53:44Speaker 3: a heart throb way, which is what he was which.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Is what he was, and he's stuck. That's why his
- 53:47Speaker 2: head is.
- 53:48Speaker 3: Stuck stuck in Yeah, it really is stuck.
- 53:51Speaker 4: I did say I felt like he read a book
- 53:54Speaker 4: that said, if you tilt your head, people will see
- 53:57Speaker 4: that as a sign of listening and connecting. And I
- 54:00Speaker 4: think I think that book was like the art of seduction.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Now that we're and like cross your eyes ever so
- 54:08Speaker 2: slightly to make it look like your eyes are a
- 54:10Speaker 2: little fuzzy and you're falling in love.
- 54:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean he's sweet enough. I just you know, uh,
- 54:20Speaker 4: just the desire to listen. I meditate like it's not
- 54:25Speaker 4: it's just when your goal is to reach a higher plane,
- 54:29Speaker 4: you know what I mean.
- 54:30Speaker 3: Likes me.
- 54:32Speaker 5: It's like reach the higher plane?
- 54:34Speaker 3: Please, can we get there already? Like yeah, Well, he's
- 54:39Speaker 3: never not meditating every like round robin of like them
- 54:42Speaker 3: in the morning, it's like this person's making exist. Person's
- 54:45Speaker 3: doing this, And he's always in some like zen situation
- 54:48Speaker 3: where he's like calling upon the spirits.
- 54:51Speaker 4: Johnnie, on the other hand, having his soft morning where
- 54:55Speaker 4: he is vacuuming and setting up the coffee and flapping
- 55:00Speaker 4: the pillows, and several times in this series he's been
- 55:05Speaker 4: wearing like anti gear, you know, like he's anti io.
- 55:12Speaker 3: Well he's he's wearing like he's always wearing, and I'm
- 55:16Speaker 3: sure it's I wonder if it's real or not. But
- 55:20Speaker 3: he's wearing like either it's pleats please by Issi Miaki.
- 55:24Speaker 3: It's like what the the who it's what the pleets please?
- 55:30Speaker 3: Inspiration for these clothing is, but those pieces are thousands
- 55:35Speaker 3: of dollars, Like a pair of shorts is like that,
- 55:39Speaker 3: like truly thousands, like it's wearable art. So I don't
- 55:42Speaker 3: know if I feel that he's wearing a two thousand
- 55:45Speaker 3: dollars top to just sit around the house, but like
- 55:49Speaker 3: there's plenty of dupes on Amazon that you can get.
- 55:52Speaker 2: Do you know what I'm saying, Well, that's quite Oh
- 55:54Speaker 2: you're talking like that shar Truce jumpsuit that he wore
- 55:57Speaker 2: is very exactly like what you're saying, the pleats please.
- 56:00Speaker 3: Yeah, And then he even has that like very nude
- 56:03Speaker 3: almost like dress, like almost like a mumu dress, Like
- 56:06Speaker 3: that's the same kind of thing. I'm thinking, it's like
- 56:09Speaker 3: the not Like I'm wondering if I think that's real
- 56:12Speaker 3: or not.
- 56:14Speaker 2: Does anybody know everything he wears is that And I
- 56:17Speaker 2: love his confessional look at least that we saw on
- 56:19Speaker 2: the Angular. Okay, does anybody know what happened with his ex?
- 56:23Speaker 2: Because I didn't have my finger on the pulse of
- 56:25Speaker 2: his relationship, it sounds like he had a horrible breakup,
- 56:28Speaker 2: which I was very surprised to hear.
- 56:32Speaker 3: Well love when people are like a very public breakup
- 56:34Speaker 3: and we're all like, yeah, oh to you it was
- 56:40Speaker 3: you know what I.
- 56:41Speaker 4: Mean, yeah, with love, you know, but like the idea
- 56:46Speaker 4: that Macy Gray is even at that like, of course
- 56:48Speaker 4: we love Macy Gray, but like she's not at the
- 56:50Speaker 4: tip of my tongue.
- 56:51Speaker 5: These days, you know.
- 56:53Speaker 4: So whenever people get on these shows, we give them
- 56:57Speaker 4: a level of you know, deference that it's like, well,
- 57:02Speaker 4: I don't know if it's happening in twenty twenty four,
- 57:05Speaker 4: you know, but.
- 57:06Speaker 2: It could have been at the height of his career,
- 57:07Speaker 2: you know, when he you know, popped off and.
- 57:12Speaker 3: When he didn't listing everything. Oh how.
- 57:17Speaker 2: He changed the face of his figures hitting Ye.
- 57:21Speaker 5: Absolutely, I love him, I do really have. He's I
- 57:26Speaker 5: am enjoying him on this show.
- 57:29Speaker 3: My sticking point for him is his hair. If we're
- 57:33Speaker 3: going to talk about Tyler's hair.
- 57:34Speaker 2: Where Yeah, we got to talk about everybody's hair. It's
- 57:39Speaker 2: Tyler's hair.
- 57:41Speaker 4: Talk about it.
- 57:44Speaker 3: It's okay, it's ata it needs it's in the It's like,
- 57:49Speaker 3: are you growing it out? Why is it this length
- 57:52Speaker 3: that's neither long nor short? Like what? And like that's
- 57:56Speaker 3: fine if that's the choice, Like if it's like, oh,
- 57:58Speaker 3: I'm doing this weird alt like weird haircut on purpose,
- 58:01Speaker 3: Like please go to like go to places in Brooklyn
- 58:04Speaker 3: and you're gonna be like, what's that haircut? And you're
- 58:06Speaker 3: like a mullet with the shaved sides and like microbangs.
- 58:09Speaker 3: What's happening? But like that's a recent choice. He ever
- 58:12Speaker 3: knows like what it wants to be, like even in
- 58:14Speaker 3: his interview. Look, it's just like puffed out to the side,
- 58:16Speaker 3: and I'm like, what is happening?
- 58:18Speaker 2: You're right, you're right. You know his outfits are so
- 58:22Speaker 2: they really pull your focus. So I didn't even think
- 58:25Speaker 2: twice about his hair, But now I am really I'm upset.
- 58:29Speaker 5: Well, it's hair is Antie.
- 58:31Speaker 4: It's it's giving like Antie, you know, running out to
- 58:37Speaker 4: the store to pick up a few things, like she
- 58:39Speaker 4: he just in the moo Moos and the and the Bob.
- 58:42Speaker 5: I have to kind of look at him right now,
- 58:44Speaker 5: hold on, well, but.
- 58:46Speaker 3: He has yeah, he has the like fancy clothes and
- 58:50Speaker 3: he's trying to show us that he's spending two thousand
- 58:52Speaker 3: dollars on the show, which I don't think is real.
- 58:54Speaker 3: But like he's doing that like Issimaki high fashion, like
- 58:58Speaker 3: very But then it's like the hair and then even
- 59:00Speaker 3: he had that weird black makeup on for one second
- 59:04Speaker 3: and I was like, but we haven't seen that. Like
- 59:06Speaker 3: I'd love for him to show up every day with
- 59:07Speaker 3: his full face of makeup on and look amazing like that.
- 59:10Speaker 3: I'd love that.
- 59:12Speaker 2: And even in the confessional, Yeah, if he could just
- 59:17Speaker 2: do his hair different in the confessional when he's all
- 59:19Speaker 2: put together, because if he's in that house, you know what,
- 59:22Speaker 2: Like the hair can be okay with that, but when
- 59:24Speaker 2: he throws on that jumpsuit, he's gonna have to pull
- 59:27Speaker 2: it all together, you know.
- 59:28Speaker 3: Yeah. It's like he half does it and then he
- 59:31Speaker 3: like forgets about it or gets his like I'm done,
- 59:34Speaker 3: and then like puts his clothes on. But I'm like,
- 59:35Speaker 3: even in your confessional, it looks like you like didn't
- 59:37Speaker 3: do your hair, so I don't know what. Yeah, And
- 59:39Speaker 3: during the Olympics he has these like big, huge quoff
- 59:42Speaker 3: things that are like these like beautiful like works of art.
- 59:45Speaker 3: So maybe he's just like, I don't know how to
- 59:47Speaker 3: do my own hair without putting in like another whole
- 59:50Speaker 3: wig of extensions to like make like a beautiful thing.
- 59:52Speaker 3: Do you know what I'm saying? Yeah, I don't know,
- 59:54Speaker 3: Like right, yeah, I don't. So it's it's a sticking
- 59:59Speaker 3: point for.
- 59:59Speaker 2: Me now this episode, even though we haven't talked about
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: it yet and we will right now, it being mostly
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: our last point of this whole episode, which was the
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: driving theme throughout, which is that Kim talking about her
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: divorce and talking to Croy and everyone's kind of sick
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: about her talking about her her divorce and the conversation
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: that we overheard something like I'm not a fit mother.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Damn.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: You're following another fucking motion today, and then her being
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: like when I go home, I'm gonna get a moving
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: truck and get divorced, damn, And then that revealed like
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: we had sex two days ago. He is a red flag,
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Like this woman was bopping, bobbing and weaving throughout this
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: episode about her divorce and then for her to say
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: she never would want Croy to be in a house
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: like this, like if the tables were turned, she wouldn't
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: like this. I can't get enough of it, though. I
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: love of hearing Kim go.
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: Eating it up, eating it up like Sunday dinner. Okay,
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: I Deanna's saying, yeah, Deanna, lay it on us.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: No, I am enjoying it. What I do really feel
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: is like Kim is triggering something in me of like
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: a college friend or something, you know that yeah, has
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: chatted me and hasn't let me go with their boyfriend drama.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: And I was such an open ear, you know, and
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: I think, like I would. I think what I'm going
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: through while watching her is knowing that she would have
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: my ass pinned to the wall and I would not
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: be able to escape, you know, and I will.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: Yeah, they're even like and Kim's talking about our divorce again,
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: like they all are like telling us that it's way
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: more than we see. Like there's the interviews, so like.
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: Yeah, and I'm kind of like, okay, why it seems
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: like most of these shows you don't in the in
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: these uh where you win something kind of shows, I
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: don't know if they win anything in this, but you
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: don't get to keep your cell phone, so that I'm
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: also very surprised she seems the only one to really
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: be on her cell phone in the in the house.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: Yeah, at that they're showing us because it's the only
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: interesting storyline that you know, whoever anyone else is talking
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: to doesn't seem obviously that important, right right.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: I But yeah, Kim is just I mean, I'm loving it.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: I'm for there's a part of me what I wrote,
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: Kim and Croy are still fucking Are they just doing
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: this for publicity question mark? I think maybe, like do
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: you know what I mean? Are they just is this
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: just a drum up, like, look they're getting divorced, like
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: they could have a show again, or is she truly
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: like this man as a monster and I need to
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: like go to another country to like have them document
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: my phone calls with him. Like there's a part of
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: it where it's like she's putting this all on tape
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: so that one day she could use it in court
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: against Yeah, which I think is fucking genius, by the way.
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, well I did, like, you know, I take
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: people sometimes on these shows for what they present and
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: Amy's like, no, she understands.
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: Yeah, her going to chat.
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: It's like she understands what she's doing. She understands the
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: fact that like he's Tom's son and Rita's son, and
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: this is gonna be a splash. She's getting in that bathroom,
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: shut the cameras off, you know, And I'm like really
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: because it seems like an organic But when that August
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: came through the door from last season, who I only
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: know as the guy that Jada Pinkett was seeing for
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: quite some time and was her son's friend, that was him.
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: That was him.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's that's that August. Oh my gosh.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: I did not put that together.
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: Well, I yeah, I guess wow. I was in she
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: he did say a little something, but when they said
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: his name, I was like, oh, that's that guy.
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: They showed like a a like a page six article
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: that was like Jada Pinkett's like something something like Jada
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: Pinkett Smith's like rumored boyfriend August or whatever.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I know what my captions on my TV. Those
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: fuckers the way they do the captions sometimes when they're
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: they cover that up, they cover the entire screen with
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: all black and then little white writing at the top
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: just for so and then the rest goes back to
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: the bottom, and so I'm like, well, I don't know
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: what that said. So that's why I missed. Okay, why
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: are you.
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: In blind Spot?
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: Well? Yeah, I noticed Kim made a beeline for him,
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: you know, the second he walked through the door.
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: When they were outside. She was like ba blah blah.
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: Blah, Kroy and she she sort of monopolized him.
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: Interesting and like, yeah, this well knows what she's doing.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: You know sometimes she does. And then at that cold plunge,
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: the fact that she wouldn't get in and she's like,
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: wouldn't shut up? Yeah, mind over mad her body and
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: mind I do it all the time. It's like what
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: get your put your wig in there, put something in there,
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: you know, I love them all kind of dragging Ali
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: about her being like yes, hilarious, so funny.
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: We are gonna need her to look at that, like
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: I will if this show ends without somebody sitting her
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: down and being like the same way Ot got his
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: talking to, Like someone's gonna need to sit her down
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: and say yes is not a complete sentence.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: It's a no. It's a no from us.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: You know, stuff like we are gonna have to find
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: a new way to communicate joy, anger, pain, fun, happiness, frustration,
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: Like we're gonna have to Yeah.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: Wait, I'm not done talking about Kim and.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: No, we need to go Let's let's go back to that.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Let's go back to that. Kim said. No, I wasn't
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: gonna let it go. Kim said, My favorite was that
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: KROI called them all your loser, fake ass friends.
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: And he's like this is this is a vacation and
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: she's like, I'm shooting it to and when she goes,
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: I'm here working because you refuse to get a job,
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: I was like, slam.
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: That rage.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: Yeah, And I was like m hmm. I was like,
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: you were on the Falcons and then you married her
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: and didn't and you have not lifted a finger other
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: than to drive her to in from set since so
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: like I don't want to fucking hear it, Kroy, thank you, Chris.
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: Like as much as she's really annoying, I'm like I'm
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: eating all of it up of her being like I'm here,
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: like actually working and you're there like calling lawyers to
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: like fight with me about the fact that I might
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: have kissed Chet Hanks in a bathroom on this stupid
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: ass reality, you know what I mean.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Yeah, he's like she can't hear him, but you know,
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: he's like you you you like hooked up with someone.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: And she's like not yet, yeah.
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: Not yet. She's like, I will fuck him in the bathroom.
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: I'll suck him on camp rot like she I would
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: love like over the cover, like the comfort of like
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: old school real world where it's like Chat and Kim
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: in the bed together and then we see the comforter
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: go up and it's just like a big mound and
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: you hear some sexual noises like Johnny and Johnny Weir
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: is like out of there, like gone, baby gone.
- 1:07:22Speaker 5: He does not deserve that, Like no, no.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: God, no, no one, no one does.
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: Chet did seem to. I mean, I was like, Kim,
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: you do know.
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: You going on and on about this divorce in front
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: of the sky, like and I guess it's not a
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: real thing, right.
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: But I want it to be real, but I wanted
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: I want it to be real. I want her to nap.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Chet Hanks, Me too, me too.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: Imagine a picture, Imagine a Christmas photo of Tom and Rita.
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: Stop.
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: I think there, who are the other Hanks children? Like
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: Colin Colin and whoever he might be with and Truman
- 1:08:07Speaker 6: and short and whoever that person might be. And then
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: Chat like with like a white T shirt and like
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: Christmas jammy bottoms, and then Kim Zolziak Beerman like over
- 1:08:22Speaker 6: draped over him with like a white like with her
- 1:08:27Speaker 6: humongous breasts like white little crop top with like matching
- 1:08:32Speaker 6: slutty ass little matching shorts to to Chat's long pants.
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: Do you know what I'm saying?
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: And she's all like, they have the Christmas picture and
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: she sends out the Christmas cards and it's like we
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: love from Kim zolzac Beerman Hanks and she just throws
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: she slaps that name on the back of her name
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: so fast.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: So I have a question. Does Beerman is Kroy's name?
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: But but who is it? Brielle is the oldest she
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: has Beerman, but she isn't Kroy's child, right, That's correct?
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: But it's like Brielle Berman on her Instagram? Am I wrong?
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: Isn't she?
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: I remember that she was.
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: She was really excited about it because he was more
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: of a father than she.
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: Okay, okay, I remember, but she was like, I'm not
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: as old ziac because that's like, sure, sure, that's really
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: that's okay. That makes me happy.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Then yeah, oh I used to love.
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: But now apparently not.
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: Like I know, we're having so much fun with Kim
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: right now and she's everything, But I do want to
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: remind ourselves and the audience that Kim has gambled away
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: every sense that they have.
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: Please ship And then.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: She would not like she makes that nanny like drive
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: down the street. I people took pictures of her house
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: and like made them delete it? What yes, that.
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: Was on her show.
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, she would have that that great nanny.
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: She was the best.
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: Well Tracy the chef and the nanny. Oh god, yeah Tracy.
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: She'd have her hustle down in like an suv and
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: go find whoever took a picture of their house and
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: be like you got to delete it.
- 1:10:30Speaker 5: I mean it's so chaotic.
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: And like who cares? Like who?
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: She wishes people would do that now, she wishes and
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: posted on zillow sell that fucking house. I could sign
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: off on you selling the house. I was like, what
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: are you talking about. Every possible thing that you could
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: discuss for a divorce happened to come up in that
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: thirty second phone call. Hell, no alimony, I won't go
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: don't I will not sign those papers about selling the
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: house a lawyer what Like she was hitting every single thing.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: She still do this. Listen, when you have an og
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: housewife like that, every day is housewives. She's doing Housewives
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: with someone that's not even there physically on a different show. Period.
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: Period, do period, it doesn't matter what show she's on.
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: Drop her in there and she's doing I mean, the
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: PTSD thing was like interesting, what's cool about Kim?
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: Here's the couple a couple things like she.
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: You know, because she is fun you know sometimes like
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: she's she is cool and people like her. Yeah that
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: she's likable, but I get it because she's kind of
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: funny and she's.
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: You know, if you can.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: Do unapologetic for herself.
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: And no one's coming with a loaded gun like ready
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: to get her, right, you know what I'm saying, Like
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: no one's coming, like, no one's coming in to be
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: like you're a close piece of trash and here's this
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: close likes married man. Hello, yeah, yeah, you know what
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: I mean? Like why are you pimping your daughter out
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: to John Legend? You know what I mean? Like yeah,
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: like not like no one's doing that to her, so she's.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: But you know, she's the first one at that door
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: every single time that gosh darn doorbell rings, because that
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: that just goes to show she's ready to play. She
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: keeps saying, I have PTSD. I don't know who's coming
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: through that door. Let me be the first one to look.
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: It's like she's praying. It's she's praying, it's crying. She
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: wants it to be cry so badly. If you tell
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: me I'm wrong, I'm not.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: You're right, No, you're right. I don't even think about that.
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: Not really knowing either of them, you know. I mean,
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: we know Kim and we know Croy, but we know them.
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: We know them, do you know we know them?
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: My money is on the fact that she has worn
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: him down.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: I'll bet you more.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: To enob you know, like I know, yeah, has he
- 1:13:11Speaker 4: maybe not brought in money? Yeah, but I also believe
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: she told him, don't you dare get a job?
- 1:13:17Speaker 5: Do you know what I mean? Like, why for whatever reasons?
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: I think she has used that poor guy up and
- 1:13:24Speaker 4: spin him out.
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: And I don't know.
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: And the gambling. I just need to know more about
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: the gambling. I need to know some numbers.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: Can you imagine Chet and Zolsiac Beerman Hanks in Vegas?
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: He can't go back there, and she has such a
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: trader for him, she can't be around him.
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: And her solo cup would like really be a problem our.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: If we're true chatheads, we will get in between them
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: and we won't let the union happen. I mean, I
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: want want to see that Christmas card, Chris.
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: I want insertion though, I want penetration, like you know
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: what I mean, I have that. I want them to
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: have sex. I want that to happen for them, for us.
- 1:14:05Speaker 5: I think she took a big step back. I don't know.
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: I think he lost respect for her by not getting
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: in the cold plunge that she would have gotten in there.
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: Has she done anything like willingly in the show? In
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: the program, she is so sly.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: She gets out of everything.
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: She screamed that that she did do in that first episode,
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: But she gets out of every she's so my friend,
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: Julie Lewis. I love you, Julie, but she is she
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: gets out of everything.
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: God damn. Yeah, she doesn't want to do any of it. Wait,
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: and the only last thing is like when Kim when
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: Kim was like, I you know, I've been people have
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: come at me like the trauma I experienced on my
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: show is like so bad. I'm like, Kim, you were
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: the meanest one on the show. Like like you remember
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: when she went into Kenya's house and just was like
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: get base boards, get baseboards. And remember when she went
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: into Nine's house and videoed cockroaches.
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: Was the baseboards, but yeah, she was the cockroaches. Ariel
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: Aa Ariel Ariel Ariela Ariola, her oldest daughter, took the
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: video of the cockroaches.
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: Cockroaches. Oh that was tough, but do you know what.
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: I mean, It's like, yeah, she weren't. It's like sitting
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: duck that just took it. Every day you were like
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: destroying people.
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: She wouldn't let her mother use an indoor bathroom.
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: Well, her mother's at her own wedding.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: That was terrible. Her mother was probably so drunk and
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: she knew that if she let that drunk up to
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: her up to that bathroom where she was gonna go,
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: she would wake up that baby and guess what she
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: was right, Yeah, yeah, wow, it's really no.
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: It is true.
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: Her mom added some layers to it. I didn't I
- 1:16:03Speaker 4: forgot about the baby. But you know what, I was
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: just so shocked.
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: No, it's she could have let her in and use
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: the downstairs bathroom. It's all horrible. It's all horrible.
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: I know. I'm just saying, like Kim wasn't an innocent
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: bystander and like a lot right, Like she acts like
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: she was, Like I was put through hell, and it's
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: like you put everyone you came into contact through hell.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: And meanwhile she's like, I wouldn't do that again if
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: they maybe paid me three hundred and fifty thousand dollars exactly. Meanwhile,
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: wouldn't that be terrible if Cray showed up and rang that?
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: Yeah? No, Amy, Yes. Meanwhile she's doing it for free
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: on the phone with Croy.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Yeah yes. Oh any, Wow, Deanna's really taking a lot
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: of stuff in. But do you guys have any last
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: thoughts about Surreal Life Episode five? This has been just
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: a delight.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: I would do. I would watch a show where Macy
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: Gray just goes through a drive through and gets in
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: an argument with the person to drive through.
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: Like.
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: I love watching her. She's that quintessential reality television that
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: you watching her exists in the world is so entertaining.
- 1:17:09Speaker 3: And she's always upset about something. There's always some slight.
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: There's always some like her just going to McDonald's drive
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: through and then getting some them getting her order wrong
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: is a TV show?
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: Or even going next door to that house was like
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: an adventure?
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: What was she trying to do over there? I was
- 1:17:26Speaker 5: getting lost in the sauce with that.
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: She was like trying to escape the cameras. I loved
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: hearing them all say like, I'm so we're never off camera,
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: and it's like, that's a lot. It's great and it's
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: a lot like that was fun. And also them being
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: like we all go in Kim's bathroom because there's no
- 1:17:41Speaker 3: cameras in them there, Like that was fun because there's
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: always that thing in a show, but you can never
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: really say it, and so it was fun as a
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: producer to see like, oh that was the place where
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: they hit all the time.
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: It was like going to Kim's interesting. Yeah, oh wow,
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: Deanna last thoughts on Surreal Life.
- 1:17:57Speaker 5: No, I mean.
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: I thought it was a fantastic episode. I was you
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: know what happens? Who knows? You know what I mean, like,
- 1:18:10Speaker 4: what's the show? It's like I'm still learning, but I
