Jesus tells a parable in Matthew 13 about a man who sows wheat seeds but an enemy comes later and scatters weed seeds in the same field. In a surprise turn, the man says to let the weeds grow right alongside the wheat until harvest time where they will be sorted out. In this message, Clayton Ritter uses the example of his summer lawn to explain why Jesus would tell us not to give too much focus to the weeds because a healthy lawn will choke out any weeds.
