- 0:04SPEAKER_01: What is going on, bottlers?
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: It's your boy MJ coming at you with Joe the Birdman with a brand new fancy fumble.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: Hope y'all been doing good because we've been out of it for a while.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: I feel refreshed, energized, reinvigorated, ready to go.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: Fancy seasons right around the corner.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: Joe, how the hell are you feeling, brother?
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Oh man.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: Getting anxious.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: Looking forward to the season.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Looking forward to talking about our top 25 wide receiver rankings.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: And of course, a lot of this could change as we get closer to day one kickoff.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: But uh I'm I'm eager to see what you got.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Well, I will say you have him, you know, you have influenced a couple of my uh rankings here.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: Uh, I mean, especially after you told me about Josh Jacobs, I totally slipped on that.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: You tell me about that.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: Now he already has a hamstring injury.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: Uh, he's gonna be suspended.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: So you can expect, you know, a disappointing season for Jacobs for the most part.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean, all that's still up in the air about the suspension, but I just feel like they might try to set an example with him as they have done with other players in the past.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: So we'll we'll see.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: I mean, maybe they don't.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Maybe he plays all 17 games.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: They don't call it the no fun league for no reason, man.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: That's that's uh that's for sure.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: But I can tell you right now, I'm excited.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: Today we're gonna be talking about our wide receivers, top 25 wide receivers.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: We want to show the world what we got.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: Uh, I mean, ultimately, I'm very excited.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna shake some things up.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: And obviously, what I like about us, Joe, is we don't bullshit around.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: We're gonna give you our our you know, our number one options, and we're not gonna put smoke and mirrors.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: All right, let's get right into it.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: I'll kick things off with my number one, and that's Puka Nakua.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: Uh, he was an absolute monster last year, even with Devontae Adams eating into his workload.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: And obviously, Devontae will still be a huge part of this offense, uh, which is possibly the best offense in the NFL, but I think Puka will take another big leap forward.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Many people thought the Rams would be in the Super Bowl last year, and many people think they'll get there this year.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: And, you know, he's a hungry, young freak athlete and the number one target on an offense that's going to put up a lot of points.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: We saw him get a nice jump and touchdowns last season, too, and I just think that number is going to get bigger.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: I'm not worried about any potential disciplinary action from the nothing burger in the offseason, so he's my number one.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: I can see why you uh you feel that way.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: Unfortunately, I feel a little bit differently, so we'll get to that.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: However, my number one is the consensus consensus number one.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: That's of course Jamar Chase.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: I mean, the guy is is quarterback proof.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: Uh, I mean, last year he he was one of the top, was he wide receiver two or three?
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: Behind obviously Puka and JSN.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: So he he did all that despite Joe Burrow missing most of the season.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: So uh I actually have him uh projected to stay at number one because he had uh last year he did lead the league in targets.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: He had 185.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: Aman Ra was 172, and then uh Puka and Jackson Smith and Najikba were actually in the 160s.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: So I look at it like he's a target monster, he's gonna get it.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: Uh Joe Burroughs has to prove the naysayers wrong.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: He's coming up on, you know, he wants to get paid for those contract years.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: So I expect a lot of success for uh Jamar, especially with, you know, uh this season, the hopes that the Bengals will have for him.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Okay, I agree with all that.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: I'll touch on that in a minute.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Um, but I'm gonna roll right into number two, and that's Jackson Smith in the Jigba.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: He's one of the toughest and most impressive players in the league, and I think he's just gonna pick up right where he left off.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: He's gonna be peppered with targets every game, and I'm expecting them to lean on the pass.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: You know, Seattle won the Super Bowl and should hit the ground running with a very high-powered offense that focuses on the passing game, at least until Jadarian Price gets a little more comfortable, because I don't see Zach Charbonnet being uh three down back, you know.
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: So I just feel like they're gonna lean so heavily on the pass, especially towards the beginning of the season, that that's gonna help JSN, and that's why I got him at number two.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: Okay, okay.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Uh yeah, definitely.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: Uh, however, I have a different number two.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: It's somebody you've been high on for many years, as have I, but you probably drafted them more than I have.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: Amon Ross St.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: Brown.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: I have him as number two overall.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: One of the main reasons, obviously, he was second in the league with targets, 172, you know, targets last year.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: He caught 117 of them.
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: So the guy's elite, he's top tier.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: He's what I would call superstar, you know, talent.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: He's gonna give you over 25 points a game pretty easily.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: Uh, so these are gonna be guys that that are gonna be the league winners, right?
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: So uh just last year he had 11 touchdowns, over 1,400 reception uh receiving yards, and uh, and one of my favorite things to say is that Amon Ra actually has one of the easiest strengths of schedules this year, and and one of the best pass forward for fantasy.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: So just to give you an idea, his strength of schedule overall for his team is fourth over fourth best, which means he's he's got one of the bottom four weakest schedules in NFL, right?
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: That's what that means.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: Um, so he actually ends up finishing up the year with some of the easiest matchups.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: So second half of the season, weeks 10 through 18, he's gonna get up and have the fourth easiest schedule for running backs uh heading out.
- 6:03SPEAKER_01: So that or excuse me, for wide receivers heading out.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: So that's why I'm a big fan of him, and I think that he's gonna have one of his best fantasy seasons, and the guy's already been pretty amazing.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: Man, I agree with all that, and I didn't realize his schedule was that easy towards the end.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: It's that's great news.
- 6:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: Now for number three, I got Jamar Chase, and it was really hard to have Jamar at the three spot.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: I know he's the consensus one.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: Not only do they have an incredible offense, but they also have a relatively easy schedule, too.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: As much as I love him as the number one consensus, I just think Puka and JSN are gonna be a little more consistent, and that's why I have them at one and two and Jamar at three.
- 6:47unknown: T.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: Higgins is still there eating up some of those targets, but I'm not worried about that because Jamar is still gonna get insane volume.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: That's gonna, you know, prevent double coverage, lead to more opportunities.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: The offense will run through him and Chase Brown, obviously, and that's gonna lead to plenty of targets every single game.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: He's had well over a thousand yards in each of his final in each of his five NFL seasons, even in 2022 when he only played 12 games.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: So he's a very reliable player with huge upside.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: Would not be surprised at all if he is number one, like the consensus says.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: I'm just a little more optimistic about Puka and JSN because of the run they've been on.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: And I just think that Jamar might be a little bit more peaks and valleys.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: Obviously, those valleys are still going to be double-digit numbers, but um, that's why I got him at three.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: You know, it's funny uh you you talk about those things because those are actually the reasons why I ended up fading uh Jackson Smith and Nijigbo to number three this year.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: So obviously, you know, fantasy wide receiver one, offensive player of the year, right?
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: He had over, you know, almost 1,800 receiving yards, 10 touchdowns.
- 8:03SPEAKER_01: The guy, I mean, had close to 120 receptions.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: So he was just amazing.
- 8:09SPEAKER_01: Obviously, he could not be stopped.
- 8:11SPEAKER_01: Seattle last year went on a run, and JSN was like the number one target every single game.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: He was getting at least double-digit targets every single game.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: Like the guy was amazing.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: And just to kind of give you an idea here, he's he was getting about 10.2 targets a game.
- 8:27SPEAKER_01: Uh, and the reason why I actually have him and Chase Brown or Jamar Chase split is because uh he with the strength of schedule, I actually see that Seattle has a 23rd hardest wide receiver schedule for for overall for teams, and then his second half of the season is gonna be really hard too.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: Because he he's talking about like uh you're gonna play some of the better teams, so he's gonna have a pretty up and down schedule near the second half.
- 8:57SPEAKER_01: So that's the only thing that concerns me.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: Valid concern.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: I understand.
- 9:04SPEAKER_00: Uh, who do you have at number four?
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: Okay, uh, my number four, I have a gentleman you spoke of already, Puka Nakua.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: Um, I mean, he was just amazing.
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: He actually led the NFL with receptions at 129.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: Um, even despite having Devontae Adams, he was still uh leading the team with 10.3 targets per game.
- 9:26SPEAKER_01: Um, but the only reason why I do have him this far back, he's obviously an elite guy, a superstar guy, a guy I would take in the first round all day and every day.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: Um, and his team has a really good strength to schedule for the season.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: However, his particular position, he has one of the toughest.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: He's he actually has a 29th ranked uh wide receiver strength to schedule.
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: So if you look at the numbers, they're actually flipped.
- 9:53SPEAKER_01: Right now, for running back numbers, the Rams have amazing numbers.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: So it just seems to me like they're probably gonna run more.
- 9:58SPEAKER_01: And so just for that reason alone in that schedule, I have them faded a few spots back and probably one or two lower than consensus.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: Right, number four for me.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: Got to talk about my boy Amon Ross St.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: Brown.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: Throughout his five seasons, the NFL.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: Um, the only one where he has not passed a thousand yards is his rookie season, where he still finished with over 900.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: I mean, very similar situation as the guys that ranked above him.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: He's on a great offense, and he's a very durable and reliable player, which is why I go after him every season.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: He's only missed two games in his five-year career.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: He may not give you huge games with like 25-30 points, but you can count on 15 to 20 every single game.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: And he's gonna have those games of 25 and 30, too.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: I just love how durable and tough he is and how reliable he is every season.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: And as you know, that's why I'm always gunned for him.
- 10:57SPEAKER_01: High floor, even higher ceiling, man.
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: He's he's a good player uh for sure.
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: Now, who's your number six?
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: Uh, my number five, we're on number five.
- 11:09SPEAKER_01: I can't count, sorry.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: You're good.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: I know that.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: My number five is CD Lamb.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: Just like Amon Raw, only has one season under a thousand yards, his rookie season.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: Uh, again, we're still at over 900.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure if the Dallas offense will be on the same level as last year, but they probably will.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: Last year, CeeDee was battling injuries throughout the entire season.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: He missed a few games, and even when he was on the field, he was banged up, and that's why he was inconsistent.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: But hey, this is a new year, and a healthy lamb will be an absolute force, and he could finish at the very top if things go well.
- 11:46SPEAKER_00: But I've got him at five.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: All right, I hear that.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: Now, I actually have somebody different for my number five.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: Uh, I expect this player to have a comeback season and get back to fancy dominance, but that's gonna be Justin Jefferson, uh, Minnesota Vikings.
- 12:04SPEAKER_01: I mean, last year uh he was averaging 8.8 targets per game, which is not ideal.
- 12:09SPEAKER_01: But if you guys saw what was happening last year in that particular offense, you'd kind of see why.
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: Uh it was stagnant, uh, severely lacking.
- 12:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, JJ McCarthy really wasn't ready.
- 12:22SPEAKER_01: And uh, and this year they have Kyler Murray.
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: I don't think he's by an elite quarterback by any means.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: However, I think historically he has been a really good fantasy quarterback, and his players have typically uh benefited.
- 12:36SPEAKER_01: So he always has his favorite target.
- 12:38SPEAKER_01: It just so happens that your favorite target can be one of the best wide receivers in the NFL with Justin Jefferson.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: So uh he only averaged 12 points per game last year, 12.6 points per game.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: But I think with Kyler Murray, we're gonna get back in the double digits and be in the 20s like those other guys.
- 12:59SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: I do agree with that.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: But for my number six, I went with Drake London.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: I think he would have finished much higher last season if he didn't get injured.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: He took a few weeks to get started, but then he looked incredible until the injury.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: He missed five games and never really bounced back from the injury, but now he's strong and ready to go.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: The QB situation isn't ideal, so we're gonna have to wait and see how that pans out.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: But London's talent is undeniable.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: He is a physical freak, he's the clear number one in Atlanta, and he will see plenty of targets every game.
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: So I got him at six.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: Uh, I mean, he missed some time and he still came back and he still had over uh thousand seventy-seven receiving yards.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: Like the guy, the guy's elite.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: He's another superstar.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: I mean, he had 9.8 targets per game, and George Pickett was averaging 8.6.
- 13:55SPEAKER_01: So the guy is getting elite targeting, despite the fact that you know there is another guy that demands almost the same amount of targets.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: So he's one of those guys that you don't consider much of a drop-off, even if the other guy's playing, because they actually complement each other.
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: Um, so I can see him having another great season, superstars status.
- 14:16SPEAKER_01: Um, he's obviously going in the first round of your fantasy draft.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: So though I typically recommend going with the best player available.
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: So if that happens to be CeeDee Lamb, I'm not too mad about it.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and as you said, this is something I always stress to people is two wide receivers lead to more opportunities, opens up the field, prevents double coverage.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: I I prefer to draft wide receivers, even if they do get you know a slight decrease in targets, just to have another stud on the field really actually helps.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because if you see the top guys, they're averaging between uh seven to ten targets a game.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: Like the most elite guys are 11, you know, 12, if that, but there's not but maybe a handful of them.
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: My number seven is the man you were just talking about, Justin Jefferson.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 15:07SPEAKER_00: Going into his seventh NFL season, I don't think we should give him too much pause because last year, as you said, was a shit show.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: He's had over a thousand yards in every season, including last year when he only played 10 games.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: It's crystal clear the Vikings need to get him the ball.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: And if they have a bad start, Jefferson might demand to be traded.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: So they better feed him the ball.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: I really like Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason, but Jefferson should be the focal point of the offense, and I think he will.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: If he establishes a strong rapport with Kyler Murray, he's gonna climb right to the top of the food chain, get back to where he was in 2024.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: They say they want to, I've heard they say they want to run the ball more in their new offense.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: I mean, we're gonna have to wait and see what they do, but I I really don't see that.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: I I mean they're gonna probably change up the play calling a little bit, but I think they're still gonna run through Jefferson.
- 16:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and honestly, uh one thing I I didn't touch up on him, and as and I just thought of it here, he actually has the most fantasy-friendly uh back eight games for the rest of the season.
- 16:15SPEAKER_01: So he actually has number one easiest schedule, strength of schedule for his team is second best, and then his first half of the season's uh sixth hardest.
- 16:26SPEAKER_01: The guy is set up for a really good he it might be a little bit slow, but I just think that's gonna be the offense in general.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: It's gonna take a little bit to start clicking.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: But once it does, Jefferson is gonna be having that chemistry, and then he's gonna absolutely go off that second half of the season.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: That's what I think, too, man.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: Once he establishes that rapport with Kyler, I think he's going off too.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: And I didn't know that about the back half of the season being that easy.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: That's some icing on the cake right there.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: That could be a trade target, right?
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: Wait for him about a few weeks into the season, make an offer they can't refuse, and then take advantage of it.
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: But you got to make sure it plays out the right way first.
- 17:06SPEAKER_01: And historically, it should.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: Uh who do you have at number seven?
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: For number seven, I have my boy bad, bad Nico Collins.
- 17:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, the guy is elite.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: He missed he missed several games last year as he has for the last few years.
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: He's been in the league, but despite all that, he still had 1,100 receiving yards, which was excellent, right?
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: That would put him in the top five for the season.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: Well, more like top ten.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: Uh, seven touchdowns, and the guy averaged 8.6 targets per game.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: So I consider that a healthy option, and that's in a Texas offense that didn't have an offensive line, that had a lot of injuries, right?
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: Lost wide receivers.
- 17:50SPEAKER_01: So they were you were looking at a much different team.
- 17:53SPEAKER_01: Now they lean into their identity.
- 17:55SPEAKER_01: So now they're gonna be playing really tough defense and obviously like controlling the ball on offense.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: So I think part of that is throwing the ball to your best guy that's gonna convert on third down, and we all know that's gonna be Nico Collins.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: Whether it's for a five-yard gain or a 50-yard bomb, that guy is gonna light up the scoreboard when he's filling it.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: So he he's a very dynamic wide receiver.
- 18:20SPEAKER_01: So that's why I have him as my number seven, and he actually has a really stable schedule.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: It's run of the middle, 12 hardest running back schedule, which is not or excuse me, 12 easiest.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: So it's it's not a hard schedule whatsoever.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: Um, you just have to you know accept the fact that he's probably gonna miss a few games.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: I like that you said that uh I'm always high on Nico every season, so I'm I'm glad you got him as eye as you do.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: Now for number eight, this might surprise you a little bit, but I have Rashi Rice.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: He's dealt with injuries and hard lessons that have significantly impacted his career, and he cannot let that happen again.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: He needs to make big waves this year because if he doesn't, he may not get the chance to rebound again.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: He has to prove that he is still one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: I'm expecting a man with something to prove, something that could lead to 1,200 yards and eight touchdowns.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: I understand those are high numbers, but he's gotta be the guy in Kansas City.
- 19:25SPEAKER_00: It's no longer Travis Kelsey, and I'm sorry, but I don't think it's Kenneth Walker either.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: It's gotta be Rashi Rice.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: But I do want to add a caveat to this because I think if he's not inside of the top 10 or right around the top 10, I don't think he's gonna be in the top 25.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: He's gotta go all in, and I think he will.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: I think he's gonna come out with something to prove.
- 19:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the only thing that concerns me is his potential suspension, right?
- 19:54SPEAKER_01: Because he uh he has another one coming up as well, right?
- 19:58SPEAKER_01: That's that's the only reason why I I have him a little bit farther back.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: But I I can see where where you're talking about that.
- 20:04SPEAKER_01: Uh, I mean, he has to prove it this year because otherwise his contract years, you know, next year, right?
- 20:11SPEAKER_00: And who's gonna want him if he has another dud, you know?
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, especially after another ACL injury, right?
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: Imagine having to play on the same team that your own quarterback fucked your ACL.
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: Like we all that was crazy.
- 20:26SPEAKER_01: But anyway, that's sad.
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, let me get off topic here.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: Uh get back on topic.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: Now, who's your number eight?
- 20:36SPEAKER_01: Number eight, I have your boy Drake London.
- 20:39SPEAKER_01: Uh, I mean, the only reason I have so far back, I think he's one of the most talented uh wide receivers in the NFL.
- 20:45SPEAKER_01: I think he if he had the quarterback support that maybe CD Lamb has, I would think he would be that hot much higher on my list, uh, you know, in the top seven.
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: But uh because he has a subpar quarterback play, right?
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: We're getting some Tua, right?
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: First year playing with Tua, Tua's first year in this offense.
- 21:04SPEAKER_01: There's gonna be some struggles, and Michael Penix is not coming in until later either.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: So, you know, unfortunately, you're looking at a situation where it's you know unstable.
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: Um, but he does have a good schedule up front.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: The only thing I will warn people against is his schedule gets really hard the second half of the season.
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: Uh, so it's gonna be the 21st hardest for wide receivers, and then it actually gets all the hardest matches for Atlanta come in in that back eight games.
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: So they're gonna be playing teams uh outside of their division, right?
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: So you're not you're not playing the Panthers and Saints and you know and whoever else's just a bad pay, you know, in that division, right?
- 21:49SPEAKER_01: So it's it's unfortunately I love the guy.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: Nine targets a game is amazing, uh, but he was just shy of a thousand yards, and I think.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: He might come up pretty close if not go over this year.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: I think he's going over.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: Now at number nine, I have AJ Brown.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: I love the idea of him with Drake May and the Patriots.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: He's the number one there and has a decent stable players like Kayshawn Booty and Romeo Dobbs that can prevent double coverage.
- 22:25SPEAKER_00: Last year he was very inconsistent, and I think that was partially due to Jalen Hurt's style of play and Devontae Smith randomly going off.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: He's only had one season under a thousand yards.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: That was in 2021, a long time ago.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: So the guy's been really consistent despite the peaks and valleys.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: And I think he's in a much better scenario on the Patriots.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: That's why I got him inside my top 10 at number nine.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: Nope, I don't.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: I think you're just upset that he's not on the Eagles anymore.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: No.
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: I don't care that he's not on the Eagles.
- 23:00SPEAKER_01: I care that he went about it like a little bitch.
- 23:03SPEAKER_01: And uh, you know, he got all emotional and then he's acting real weird in public.
- 23:09SPEAKER_01: That's where I have an issue with it.
- 23:10SPEAKER_01: It's like, okay, we all know what happened, bro.
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: Thank you for the Super Bowl.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: I got an AJ Brown jersey.
- 23:16SPEAKER_01: I haven't burnt it.
- 23:18SPEAKER_01: I kept it in my closet because in case my dog shits on the floor, I need something to scoop it up with.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: So, you know, use it.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: No, I don't hate the guy.
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: You know, I I wish you went about it differently.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: So I'm always gonna be rooting against him from now on.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: I I do I do understand that.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: I wish we went about it a little differently, too.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he was complaining a good bit before it happened, too.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, random, random leaks to the press.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: It was him uh talking to his coach's girlfriend, Diana Rossini.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: Like, don't get me started about that whole Shabaco.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: And guess what?
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: Patriots got away with it.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Who's your number nine?
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: Now that you got me all fired up, my number nine is a player that's probably gonna get comeback player of the year.
- 24:03SPEAKER_01: Wide receiver, New York Giants, Malik Neighbors.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: Uh, I mean, last year he obviously had an IR year.
- 24:11SPEAKER_01: I don't have a lot of stats to go about it uh for you, but what I can tell you is that before he got injured, he was in the top five for wide receivers.
- 24:19SPEAKER_01: Uh, he was actually like uh the year before that as well, he was he was dominating.
- 24:24SPEAKER_01: Like the guy has been on fire since he's played.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: And from the training camp videos I've been watching and everything, he's actually like doing full football activities for a while.
- 24:34SPEAKER_01: So you're gonna see a much different neighbors and much more motivated.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: He's he talks about him being motivated.
- 24:41SPEAKER_01: So I like a player with something to prove, and he does have a solid quarterback throwing him the ball uh with Jackson Dark, and that offensive line for the Giants is good, good defense.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: So I could see him having another good season.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Um, obviously, you know, barring anything happens to the starting quarterback, but uh, you know, he he he's definitely one of my favorite sleepers.
- 25:05SPEAKER_01: You could get him around a third round, third to fourth round from mock drafts I've done.
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: Which is crazy.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: I I'm gonna talk about him soon, but I agree that's crazy.
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: He's he should not be a sleeper.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: Now, to round out my top ten, I actually have Devonta Smith.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: And I know I got him ranked much higher than most people, but with AJ gone, he's now the man in Philly, and he doesn't really have much competition for that spot.
- 25:35SPEAKER_00: It was always a back and forth between him and AJ.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: He just never knew who was going to be each week, and he already has rapport with Jalen Hurts and a clear path to a very productive season.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: Again, I know I have him ranked higher than most people, but I think given the circumstances, what we know he can do, he's undeniable talent.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: I think he's being overlooked, and I could easily see him being in the top ten.
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: I love Devontae.
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: I I have him a little bit farther back, but just to say, you know, uh this year, I may not be uh as high on him as most Eagles fans would be.
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: Not that I don't think he's gonna have a good year, but I just I'm tempering I'm tempering my expectations of him.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: That's all.
- 26:23SPEAKER_01: Um however for my number 10, I do the same thing.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: I do the same thing with with Steelers players.
- 26:30SPEAKER_00: I get it.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, like you can't you can't sit there and um you know give them the same expectations you're giving your other fancy guys because you feel like you're kind of jixing your your team, right?
- 26:44SPEAKER_01: Like it kind of feels like that.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: So, you know, uh, but anyways, uh long story short, my number 10 is gonna be uh Rasheed Rice.
- 26:54SPEAKER_01: Obviously, you're a lot higher on him than I am.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: Uh I do like his schedule.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: He his schedule does get easier as the season progresses, so he does have the 12th easiest schedule.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: Um when he was playing last year, he was averaging about 7.8 targets per game, so almost eight looks a game.
- 27:11SPEAKER_01: I mean, the guy was uh he was really killing it when he was playing.
- 27:15SPEAKER_01: So I like his schedule as well.
- 27:17SPEAKER_01: Like I said, it's it's gonna be a little bit rougher on the second half.
- 27:20SPEAKER_01: He actually has a 29th hardest schedule.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: The only thing is he he needs to get paid, so he needs to show up, play, he needs to stay healthy, right?
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: Not that he can control it, but uh, you know, he really needs to show up if he wants to get that high-paid contract that he thinks he deserves, right?
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: Because when he is healthy, he is one of the top 10 wide receivers in the league.
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: Um, but just last year alone, he still averaged in the games he did play 18.8 points per game.
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: So the guy, the guy was on fire, he just wasn't available.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: That's all.
- 27:54SPEAKER_01: And you know, the best of ability you can have in football is availability.
- 27:59SPEAKER_00: That's right, that's right.
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: How else are you gonna get points?
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: Now, for number 11, I have Nico Collins.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: He's the man in Houston, and we need CJ Stroud to step it up and return to form.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: If he can do that, and of course, if Nico can stay healthy, then he could very easily slide into the top 10.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: Those are my only two concerns with Nico, seriously, because he is an amazing athlete, huge playmaker, so fun to watch.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: My only concerns are CJ Stroud getting on point and playing the way we've saw we've seen him play before and staying consistent and Nico staying healthy.
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: Those are my only two concerns because if that is working, then there's no doubt in my mind that Nico's gonna have a great year, and there's just no there's just no question about it, in my opinion, if CJ Stroud can play good football and Nico can stay healthy.
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah, I'm a big Nico Collins believer, that's for sure.
- 29:01SPEAKER_01: Now, for my number 11, um, I ended up going with uh Mr.
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: George Pickens.
- 29:07SPEAKER_01: I mentioned him a little bit earlier.
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: So obviously he had a big target share because uh CeeDee Lamb was out for a while.
- 29:14SPEAKER_01: But from what I've been seeing in training camp, the guy's catching everything that's throwing his way, and he's had several highlights throughout his career with big catches.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: Um, so a guy that's playing on a franchise tag is not gonna come in and and and roll over.
- 29:28SPEAKER_01: He's gonna be hungry, he's gonna be fighting hard for every single yard, and you're probably gonna see a better best season George Pickens has put together yet.
- 29:38SPEAKER_01: I mean, and and even despite what happened with CD coming back and taking that majority target share, he still ended up averaging over 18 points per game in PPR over the season, a season long fantasy.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: So he's he's somebody that I have.
- 29:53SPEAKER_01: The only thing with caveat to him, he does have the 26 hardest schedule for the back half.
- 30:01SPEAKER_01: So it's gonna be one of those situations where there's hard games in the beginning, the middle, the end, uh, and some good games in between.
- 30:08SPEAKER_01: So, you know, uh, that's the only caveat to him.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: I have a slightly different perspective.
- 30:14SPEAKER_00: I mean, I agree with what with what you said, but I'll touch on that in a minute.
- 30:19SPEAKER_00: For number 12, I have Malik Neighbors.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: I think a healthy Malik Neighbors could seriously finish as the wide receiver one.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: He's such an impressive player, and I can't wait to see him get back on the field.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: Even if he decides to rest for a game or two, I mean he's on track to play in week one.
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: But let's just say he wants to be extra cautious and rest for a game or two before starting the regular season.
- 30:48SPEAKER_00: I still love him, and I'm not gonna let that injury scare me from drafting him.
- 30:53SPEAKER_00: I like you described him as a sleeper, that's absurd to me.
- 30:57SPEAKER_00: He should be going in the second round, no question about it.
- 31:00SPEAKER_00: And that's why I got him at number 12.
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: And I think he could easily finish inside the top five if he stays healthy.
- 31:08SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 31:11SPEAKER_01: Now, for my number 12, I have somebody I talked about earlier.
- 31:18SPEAKER_01: AJ Brown, number one.
- 31:21SPEAKER_01: Listen here, buddy.
- 31:23SPEAKER_01: There's only one number one in town.
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: That's Jalen Hurts.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: And you don't ever forget that, okay?
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: Uh, but AJ Brown, I mean, I like him on the Patriots.
- 31:32SPEAKER_01: He uh Drake May needed a top target.
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: I mean, last year's Stefan Diggs that released him due to the court drama.
- 31:40SPEAKER_01: Patriots made the move.
- 31:41SPEAKER_01: They got the starting wide receiver, and in his own right, he can definitely still get that a thousand yards.
- 31:48SPEAKER_01: Uh, he's still gonna get you that five touchdowns.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: I just think the you know his best days are behind him.
- 31:53SPEAKER_01: The guy has been nursing a knee injury for a while now, and that's one of the reasons why the Patriots first balked at the idea of a first-round draft pick.
- 32:02SPEAKER_01: The only reason why they didn't include a first rounder and they threw in a fifth rounder is because they got caught trying to game and manipulate the media through his reported girlfriend.
- 32:13SPEAKER_01: So that way they can sweep it under the carpet.
- 32:16SPEAKER_01: We all know what happens here.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: We've all seen the shows, we know the politics.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: It's not a secret whatsoever.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: But AJ Brown, you are new public enemy number one, and you pretended like you don't appreciate our guys that you play the Super Bowl with.
- 32:33SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna tell you right now, the grass is never greener on the other side.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: But you still got him at 11, huh?
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: Or 12.
- 32:40SPEAKER_01: Number 12.
- 32:41SPEAKER_01: I have him.
- 32:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, I have him way lower than I would have if he was on the Eagles.
- 32:47SPEAKER_00: Hey.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: I I got him a little higher for the and also 25th hardest wide receiver schedule.
- 32:54SPEAKER_01: It only gets harder the second half of the season.
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: So AJ's gonna get upset.
- 32:59SPEAKER_01: He's gonna pull out his book, his Dr.
- 33:00SPEAKER_01: Seuss book, and he's gonna read it.
- 33:02SPEAKER_01: And then he's gonna talk about I'm I'm mean it reading green eggs and ham.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: And whenever when my quarterback won't throw me the ball.
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: So you're gonna see.
- 33:12SPEAKER_01: It it halfway through the season, you're gonna start to see AJ Brown come out again.
- 33:17SPEAKER_00: I I hope he comes out in a good way and and not the way you're describing.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: Uh, who do you have at 13?
- 33:25SPEAKER_01: Uh, number 13, I have Meka Buka.
- 33:29SPEAKER_01: The guy's a star.
- 33:30SPEAKER_01: Like last year, he was on a tear first eight games of the season.
- 33:34SPEAKER_01: Like he was just amazing.
- 33:35SPEAKER_01: And then obviously, the Buccaneers offense went stagnant.
- 33:39SPEAKER_01: That had a lot to do with Baker being injured, O-line being unhealthy, uh, defense wasn't great.
- 33:45SPEAKER_01: So the Buccaneers just had an up-down season.
- 33:48SPEAKER_01: They were they weren't great.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: So I think that definitely affected um Mike Evans and company, right?
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: But this year, fresh, you know, no injuries, knock on wood.
- 33:59SPEAKER_01: Uh Buka is going to be that number one.
- 34:02SPEAKER_01: Because I mean, other than that, they have, you know, Chris Godwin, Jalen McMillan, and none of those guys ended up making my top 50 list.
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: So, you know, well, besides Godwin, Godwin's he's in my top 50, but I know what you're saying.
- 34:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but at the end of the day, there's no one that's better.
- 34:19SPEAKER_01: And that guy just he he's he's put into work in the offseason.
- 34:23SPEAKER_01: You can see it in his training camp.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: The guy looks better than he did last year.
- 34:27SPEAKER_01: So I'm excited to see what he does.
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: And he's typically getting picked around the fifth or sixth round of the draft.
- 34:34SPEAKER_01: I mean, I love his value at fourth or fifth round, you know.
- 34:37SPEAKER_01: Like, I mean, it's absolutely amazing if you get him in the fourth.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: Well, for my 13, I have Chris Olave.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: And Manny, you know I doubt Chris Olave every season, and it's mostly due to the QB situation and the fact that he's on New Orleans.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: Uh, but I like the QB situation now.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: I think Tyler Shuck is legit, and Olave is the clear-cut wide receiver one that would be getting the bulk of the targets.
- 35:07SPEAKER_00: So don't be surprised if he actually finishes inside the top 10.
- 35:11SPEAKER_00: If if he just catches fire and Tyler Shuck throws him the ball over and over, because really, what are the options there in New Orleans?
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: Not many.
- 35:20SPEAKER_00: So you got Juwan Johnson and Chris Olave.
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: He's gonna get peppered with targets.
- 35:25SPEAKER_00: I think Tyler Shuck's a pretty good quarterback.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: So I actually like the situation this year a lot more than previous years, and that's why I got him at 13.
- 35:36SPEAKER_01: You know, it's funny because when you mentioned Olave first, you know, and you mentioned there's no one else over there, that reminded me that Jordan Tyson was injured.
- 35:45SPEAKER_01: And I actually, you know, I had him higher up on my list.
- 35:49SPEAKER_01: I actually faded him pretty far back now.
- 35:51SPEAKER_00: But he's gonna miss about half the season, I think.
- 35:54SPEAKER_01: At least.
- 35:55SPEAKER_01: And I mean, with those soft tissue injuries, you don't even know how long that's really gonna be, right?
- 36:00SPEAKER_01: Like it could be the full season, they could just shut him down his whole rookie season, and then you're in a position where you just invested an eighth round draft pick in a guy that may not even play a single down for you.
- 36:11SPEAKER_01: Um, and believe me, I'm I'm the type of guy that I'll I'll draft somebody on potential and hold them to my dying breath.
- 36:21SPEAKER_01: I know, and then hope that I get that return because otherwise, there's no way I could justify ever picking them.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: I've seen you do it a couple different times.
- 36:30SPEAKER_00: Woo!
- 36:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but uh regardless, you know, I I I do like Alave.
- 36:35SPEAKER_01: I I've been wrong on him as well.
- 36:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm always wrong.
- 36:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, he is somewhat inconsistent, and he and he does have an injury history, but I'm I'm pretty high on him this year.
- 36:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:47SPEAKER_00: Uh who you got at 14.
- 36:50SPEAKER_01: Uh, I got my boy Tech McMillan, wide receiver, Carolina Panthers.
- 36:55SPEAKER_01: The guy, I mean, last year he took, and this is a nice uh metric.
- 36:59SPEAKER_01: So he actually averaged only 7.9 targets per game.
- 37:03SPEAKER_01: I don't think Bryce Young was playing to his best until second half of the season, which was the same case the year before.
- 37:12SPEAKER_01: Uh, so I'm hoping that this year, since they've added some weapons, they revamped the O-line, you know, uh Jonathan Brooks is coming back, right?
- 37:21SPEAKER_01: So, you know, the hope is that the Carolina Panthers offense is revived.
- 37:26SPEAKER_01: Uh, but a guy that got 30% of the target share, they didn't add a single person that's going to take targets away from him, right?
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: So you're looking at a situation where he's gonna get the same amount of target share, if not more.
- 37:38SPEAKER_01: Because a guy last year, he ended up having 930, uh, excuse me.
- 37:42SPEAKER_01: So he ended up having 1,015 yards.
- 37:44SPEAKER_01: So the guy did hit 1,000 in his rookie season, seven touchdowns.
- 37:48SPEAKER_01: Um, but he only has 70 receptions.
- 37:52SPEAKER_01: So I expect that number to go up to at least 85 to 90 this year for receptions.
- 37:58SPEAKER_00: Love that.
- 37:59SPEAKER_00: Love Ted.
- 38:00SPEAKER_00: Uh for my 14, I have Zay Flowers.
- 38:04SPEAKER_00: Uh, he's been getting better every year over his first three seasons, even with the terrible QB play in Baltimore last year.
- 38:12SPEAKER_00: So bring in a healthy Lamar Jackson.
- 38:14SPEAKER_00: Obviously, everyone wants Lamar to run, but his coaches and him have both said they're going to be trying to focus more on the pass.
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: And who's going to be the beneficiary?
- 38:23SPEAKER_00: Zay Flowers.
- 38:25SPEAKER_00: So I think he's going to continue to climb.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: Last year he had over 1,200 yards, and I expect a similar output this year, possibly even higher.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: He's the clear-cut wide receiver one on a great offense.
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: And that's why I got him at 14.
- 38:40SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 38:41SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 38:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, definitely.
- 38:43SPEAKER_01: I like him too.
- 38:44SPEAKER_01: Uh, maybe not as much as you, but you know, you gave me a little bit more perspective into how I was possibly great at him.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: Maybe I'm too too low on him.
- 38:54SPEAKER_00: Well, I was really low on him last year, and he proved me wrong.
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: So I feel like uh, you know, feel like I gotta give him the respect that he earned.
- 39:04SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: No, I respect that.
- 39:06SPEAKER_01: Speaking of respect that they earn, I mean, the next guy I'm gonna talk about here, my number 15, is exactly that guy that earned that respect.
- 39:15SPEAKER_01: You talked about him, Chris Olave.
- 39:18SPEAKER_01: You know, you talked about his injury history.
- 39:20SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, last year's the first year that he really got to play a full season since his rookie year.
- 39:25SPEAKER_01: So, you know, he's only been in the league for, you know, three or four years, but still, you know, for a guy to be in that short amount of time and still have that many injuries is a little bit concerning.
- 39:35SPEAKER_01: But I looked at it last year like he was probably one of the top 10 wide receivers, right?
- 39:39SPEAKER_01: He ended up finishing, uh, looking at his numbers 16.8 uh points per game.
- 39:45SPEAKER_01: He had 100 receptions on 156 targets.
- 39:48SPEAKER_01: Like the guy was getting peppered with uh 9.8 targets per game.
- 39:53SPEAKER_01: So he was basically at the same elite usage as as you know, guys above him like Amon Ra, Jackson Smith Jigba, Puka Nakua.
- 40:02SPEAKER_01: Those are the only other double-digit guys out there.
- 40:05SPEAKER_01: So this guy was literally uh, you know, maybe one or two receptions away from possibly being, or one or two passes away to being over that 10 points per or 10 passes per game.
- 40:16SPEAKER_01: So I expect him to repeat that over 1,100 uh receiving yards, nine touchdowns.
- 40:22SPEAKER_01: I mean, uh he has no competition for targets.
- 40:26SPEAKER_01: I was hoping Jordan Tyson took some of that attention off of him because you know you could have more than one really good fancy wide receiver on one team.
- 40:34SPEAKER_01: Uh, but it looks like it's just gonna be him again.
- 40:36SPEAKER_01: So, you know, I expect that 10-11 targets per game to be the target window.
- 40:42SPEAKER_01: And, you know, you getting him as late as the fifth or sixth round is a really good value on a guy like that.
- 40:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, man, totally agree.
- 40:53SPEAKER_00: Now for my number 15, I have George Pickens.
- 40:58SPEAKER_00: I think a big reason Pickens had over 1,400 yards last season was because CD was banged up and inconsistent throughout the entire season.
- 41:08SPEAKER_00: I'm not taking anything away from Pickens, but I don't see him putting up numbers like that with a healthy lamb on the field every week.
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: With that said, he could also ball out and become the wide receiver one in Dallas.
- 41:21SPEAKER_00: I just don't see that happening.
- 41:23SPEAKER_00: He's a great player, and having both guys on the field will create lots of opportunities for both of them.
- 41:28SPEAKER_00: You and I talk about this all the time.
- 41:30SPEAKER_00: We'd prefer two healthy players, and he should definitely have another season with over a thousand yards.
- 41:36SPEAKER_00: I just don't know if he's gonna be able to get to 1,400.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: I do like him as a player, and I think he's gonna do big things.
- 41:43SPEAKER_00: I just don't see him matching what he did last year, and that's why I got him at 15.
- 41:49SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 41:51SPEAKER_01: Who's your number 16 then?
- 41:53SPEAKER_00: 16, I have Ameke Buka.
- 41:56SPEAKER_00: Uh, the rookie who came out of nowhere and impressed everyone last year is now the wide receiver one in Tampa Bay.
- 42:03SPEAKER_00: Well, a lot of that production was due to Mike Evans and Godwin being injured.
- 42:08SPEAKER_00: He was still getting a good amount of targets with them on the field, too.
- 42:11SPEAKER_00: And now Mike Evans is gone.
- 42:13SPEAKER_00: Godwin is the clear number two.
- 42:15SPEAKER_00: So it's time to put up over a thousand yards and make another statement.
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: I really, really like him this year.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: I like that offense.
- 42:23SPEAKER_00: They play hard, and Ameka showed that that he's right there with him.
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: He matches that speed.
- 42:29SPEAKER_00: I think he's gonna have a huge year.
- 42:31SPEAKER_00: And I got him at 16.
- 42:32SPEAKER_00: I know you have him even higher, and I and I get that, but I got him at 16.
- 42:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, for sure.
- 42:38SPEAKER_01: You know, we all have somebody that you know we consider better value or you know, that that's available later, but you just you know, you always want to grab them where you believe they should be, right?
- 42:49SPEAKER_01: Not not where people tell you they should be.
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: So yeah, gotta trust your gut in these drafts, fellas.
- 42:54SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 42:55SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 42:57SPEAKER_01: Um now for my number 16.
- 43:00SPEAKER_01: I have a player that's gonna, you know, start off on a tear and just like got injured for the rest of the season.
- 43:06SPEAKER_01: And uh already he's looking like he's back to his old self.
- 43:11SPEAKER_01: Um, that's Mr.
- 43:12SPEAKER_01: Garrett Wilson, New York Jets wide receiver.
- 43:15SPEAKER_01: I mean, his footwork and route running are some of the best I've seen and uh coming out of college in like the last decade.
- 43:22SPEAKER_01: So him and Olave came out of the same draft, that both out of Ohio State.
- 43:27SPEAKER_01: And when I was seeing their tape, I was just like, man, Garrett Wilson move moves similar to like some of the most shifty guys in the league.
- 43:35SPEAKER_01: You can put them up there with like Amon Ross, St.
- 43:38SPEAKER_01: Brown, and guys like that.
- 43:40SPEAKER_01: Um so I expect him to come in, you know, regain a lot of that.
- 43:44SPEAKER_01: You know, Geno Atkins needs uh needs a target.
- 43:49SPEAKER_01: Uh so um, you know, at the end of the day, I think it's gonna be him.
- 43:53SPEAKER_01: So uh who else do the Jets have?
- 43:55SPEAKER_00: Nobody.
- 43:57SPEAKER_00: I don't think Geno Smith's gonna be there saying.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: But I'll talk about it.
- 44:01SPEAKER_00: That's a Gino aggregate.
- 44:02SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 44:02SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 44:04SPEAKER_01: Sorry, Gino.
- 44:06SPEAKER_00: I I'm I'm not trying to talk shit and uh piss in your cereal, but I just I got him.
- 44:13SPEAKER_00: You know, most people have him higher than you and me.
- 44:15SPEAKER_01: So Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:17SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm I'll talk about him in a minute.
- 44:20SPEAKER_00: But um for my 17, I have Tetaroa McMillan.
- 44:26SPEAKER_00: Another rookie who made a big statement last year, put up over a thousand yards on a team that was supposed to be one of the worst in the NFL.
- 44:35SPEAKER_00: They ended up surprising everyone, finishing eight and nine.
- 44:37SPEAKER_00: And I know that's not like great, but people weren't expecting that.
- 44:41SPEAKER_00: And a large part of that was due to him.
- 44:43SPEAKER_00: Bryce Young struggled a little bit at the beginning of the season, but I do think they established a good rapport.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: They looked really good together by the end of the season, and I think they're gonna pick up right where they left off.
- 44:54SPEAKER_00: That's why I see Ted Oroa having a big year, and I am at my 17th spot.
- 45:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm big, big fan of Tet.
- 45:03SPEAKER_01: Oh, I know you are even better season.
- 45:05SPEAKER_00: I know you are.
- 45:06SPEAKER_01: He had some 30-point games last year, too.
- 45:09SPEAKER_01: I remember correctly.
- 45:10SPEAKER_01: He had a couple games where he single-handedly probably carried your fantasy team, you know.
- 45:15SPEAKER_00: That's what I'm saying.
- 45:15SPEAKER_00: If he can just keep that rapport and and they like because Bryce Young did struggle a little bit, and um a lot of it, man.
- 45:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, pissed off watching Bryce Man, who like where's the confidence he showed last year, the last six games?
- 45:30SPEAKER_01: You know, he did the same thing this year.
- 45:32SPEAKER_00: Well, that's what I'm saying is I I feel like he's gotten over the NFL jitters or whatever you want to call it.
- 45:40SPEAKER_00: I think he's gotten past that, and I think he's comfortable now.
- 45:43SPEAKER_00: So I'm expecting him to have a good year, too.
- 45:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 45:49SPEAKER_01: Now, for my number 17, I have a uh gentleman here who has shown some uh amazing fancy elite talent.
- 46:00SPEAKER_01: Like he's had some pretty big games over the last couple years.
- 46:04SPEAKER_01: He's been in the leagues.
- 46:06SPEAKER_01: Uh, and now he just got an upgrade at offensive coordinator.
- 46:09SPEAKER_01: Uh, they just hired Mike McDaniels, you know, former head coach for the Dolphins, got fired.
- 46:15SPEAKER_01: Now he's the offensive coordinator for the Chargers.
- 46:19SPEAKER_01: So uh Justin Herbert got an upgrade.
- 46:22SPEAKER_01: And uh who does Justin Herbert love?
- 46:25SPEAKER_01: Lad McConkie.
- 46:26SPEAKER_01: So Ladd McConkie is gonna go ahead and have another amazing year.
- 46:30SPEAKER_01: He had a down year last year, obviously, like where he was drafted.
- 46:34SPEAKER_01: He only averaged 11 points per game.
- 46:37SPEAKER_01: That was super disappointing.
- 46:38SPEAKER_01: He only had 66 receptions.
- 46:41SPEAKER_01: Uh he didn't even hit 800 receiving yards for the season.
- 46:46SPEAKER_01: I mean, the guy had probably his worst season since he's been in the league, and that's his third year, right?
- 46:52SPEAKER_01: So I expect this year for him to really go off.
- 46:56SPEAKER_01: I've been seeing the training camps, I've been seeing the practices.
- 46:59SPEAKER_01: Uh, he's already back to his route tactician ways, and uh Mike McDaniels is just gonna find ways to get him the ball, right?
- 47:07SPEAKER_01: Same way he did for Tyreek, same way he did for Jalen Waddell.
- 47:10SPEAKER_01: Now he has a, you know, uh besides him, he has Trey Harris and you know Quentin Johnson.
- 47:18SPEAKER_01: Those are not really, you know, big names that pop out to me.
- 47:21SPEAKER_01: So that's why I think Ladd is gonna have that 25 to 30 percent target share.
- 47:26SPEAKER_01: Not to mention his his uh schedule starts off really hard first half of the season, but then it gets a lot better.
- 47:34SPEAKER_01: Uh it becomes a 15th easiest schedule.
- 47:38SPEAKER_00: Well, that actually goes right into my number 18, where I'm gonna pick up where you left off.
- 47:45SPEAKER_00: I got Lad McConkie.
- 47:48SPEAKER_00: He started off pretty well last season, but he kind of fell off at the end of the season.
- 47:54SPEAKER_00: But I do blame most of that on Justin Herbert, who is pretty from what I remember, he was pretty inconsistent throughout the season, but especially towards the end.
- 48:04SPEAKER_00: If he can get on the same page as Herbert, which he will, uh, I expect him to put up over a thousand yards.
- 48:11SPEAKER_00: And as you were just saying, he's the wide receiver one on a good offense with a new coordinator.
- 48:16SPEAKER_00: And like Quentin Johnson, yeah, I mean, he had those flashes last year.
- 48:21SPEAKER_00: He's kind of like a Jameson Williams where he'll have a game where just blows the lid off the stadium, and then you get excited about it, put him in your lineup, and he puts up zero.
- 48:30SPEAKER_00: So I'm not worried about Quentin Johnson.
- 48:32SPEAKER_00: I think Ladd's gonna be the one getting the um the bulk of the targets, and I I think he's gonna have a great season.
- 48:39SPEAKER_00: We've we've seen him have uh you know a thousand yards in previous years, so I think he can easily do that again, and that's why I got him at 18.
- 48:49SPEAKER_01: You know, when I mentioned Johnson and Trey Harris, I was referring to the fact that that was his competition for targets, so yeah, he's not gonna have much at all.
- 48:59SPEAKER_00: Um, that's yeah, no, I I knew that's what you're saying, but I I was I was just piggybacking on that, saying that uh, you know, he's he's gonna have a little bit of competition, but not really.
- 49:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 49:11SPEAKER_01: My number 18, I have Cardinal Tate, uh wide receiver, uh rookie.
- 49:17SPEAKER_01: So he's the number one on the Titans.
- 49:19SPEAKER_01: They have obviously Cam Ward in his second year.
- 49:22SPEAKER_01: Um, they have a solid defense, but I think that Tennessee is trying to really lean into another identity, which is going to be more than likely a pass first offense.
- 49:32SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 49:32SPEAKER_01: Cam Board has a big arm.
- 49:34SPEAKER_01: He's very smart, he can make tight throws and windows, and he's already shown that at a young age.
- 49:39SPEAKER_01: So I expect that offense to take the next step forward this year, and there's a reason why they went and got him in the top three overall this year, right?
- 49:47SPEAKER_01: Or the top receiver off the board this year.
- 49:50SPEAKER_01: Um, I mean, people think he played second fiddle to Jeremiah Smith, and he's not nowhere, he's nowhere near as good as you know, where people value him.
- 50:01SPEAKER_01: But I think that you know, that's gonna be a chip on his shoulder, and he's gonna turn around and and use that to his advantage, especially considering uh Tennessee has the 20th uh hardest schedule, which you know ultimately means is about run-of-the-mill, middle schedule.
- 50:18SPEAKER_01: So I could count, you know, uh, in my opinion, that would just show you that he has a good opportunity to really go off pretty consistently.
- 50:27SPEAKER_00: I do believe they're gonna lean heavily on the pass to kind of just get back to their roots.
- 50:32SPEAKER_00: I I do not have him in my top 25, but I agree with what you're saying.
- 50:37SPEAKER_00: And I and I hope you're right.
- 50:38SPEAKER_01: I hope I hope you're a wild card.
- 50:40SPEAKER_00: No, I mean that that's that's legit.
- 50:43SPEAKER_00: I think I think there's plenty of people that have him inside their top 20.
- 50:47SPEAKER_00: At 19, I have T.
- 50:50SPEAKER_00: Higgins.
- 50:51SPEAKER_00: He's a freak athlete.
- 50:53SPEAKER_00: It's a great compliment to Jamar Chase.
- 50:55SPEAKER_00: Obviously, two stud wide receivers does limit the targets to a degree, but as we've said many times before, it usually works well for fantasy purposes because it opens up the field and prevents double coverage.
- 51:07SPEAKER_00: I mean, works well for for real NFL purposes too.
- 51:11SPEAKER_00: And the stats typically back that up.
- 51:13SPEAKER_00: He can be an amazing wide receiver too for your team.
- 51:17SPEAKER_00: And let's hope he stays healthy.
- 51:19SPEAKER_00: You know, if he was healthy every season, people would be looking at him differently.
- 51:24SPEAKER_00: Um, but I do love T.
- 51:26SPEAKER_00: Higgins, he's a great player, and I got him at 19.
- 51:29SPEAKER_01: I do like T.
- 51:30SPEAKER_01: Higgins as well.
- 51:31SPEAKER_01: I won't talk about him yet, because uh I have him for a little bit later.
- 51:36SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I could see how he could definitely, I mean, remember, you could have two really good fantasy wide receivers on the same team.
- 51:43SPEAKER_01: So it's not like that that's an excuse for him not to do good.
- 51:47SPEAKER_01: Uh, when he's healthy, he's great.
- 51:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 51:50SPEAKER_01: Um, but regardless, uh for my number uh 19, I have Devontae Smith.
- 51:58SPEAKER_01: I mean, obviously, he's gonna be the number one on the team.
- 52:01SPEAKER_01: He's shown himself to be a really great receiver over the years when we've needed him, when we counted on him.
- 52:07SPEAKER_01: Uh, he makes big catches when you need him.
- 52:10SPEAKER_01: Uh, he puts into work.
- 52:11SPEAKER_01: Uh really great route runner.
- 52:13SPEAKER_01: I may not be as high on him as most people.
- 52:16SPEAKER_01: The reason why that is is because Philly does have, I say it's a weird strength of schedule, so it's like really, really easy in the first half, and then it just gets a lot harder in the second.
- 52:28SPEAKER_01: So he actually has a 24th hardest uh back half of the season.
- 52:32SPEAKER_01: Um, so that to me is a little concerning because for a guy that you know you worry about a little bit for longevity because he is a smaller frame guy, the grind of the season, he has been injured a game or two over the past few seasons.
- 52:45SPEAKER_01: So um despite the fact that he got over a hundred targets last year, uh I I mean he just went over a thousand receiving yards, um, but he still only averaged 12.6 uh points per game.
- 53:00SPEAKER_01: So I I believe that to be a little bit, you know, related to AJ Brown, but it's not gonna get much better than that, right?
- 53:08SPEAKER_01: So that's the only reason why I haven't faded all the way back here, despite being a lifelong Eagles fan.
- 53:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think those peaks and valleys are gonna balance out a little bit with AJ Brown out of the picture, but we'll see.
- 53:23SPEAKER_00: Uh, who do you have rounding out your top 20?
- 53:27SPEAKER_01: Uh, so number 20.
- 53:29SPEAKER_01: Um, I have somebody here.
- 53:32SPEAKER_01: Just got traded to that team.
- 53:34SPEAKER_01: Uh, they wanted him bad and they sent multiple first-round picks for him.
- 53:39SPEAKER_01: Jalen Waddle, Denver Broncos.
- 53:41SPEAKER_01: He's someone that, in my opinion, he hasn't really got his chance to shine in Miami because they did go after him, and I think in the same offseason, they ended up getting Tyreek Hill as well.
- 53:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 53:53SPEAKER_01: Um, so it like it kind of overshadowed him a little bit.
- 53:57SPEAKER_01: Um, so he wasn't able to shine as that number one.
- 54:00SPEAKER_01: It looks like Denver's looking to give him that shot.
- 54:04SPEAKER_01: Um, my only concern with him is he has butterfingers sometimes.
- 54:08SPEAKER_01: So, you know, he could get wide open and drop it.
- 54:11SPEAKER_01: But I also think that lack of concentration had a lot to do with his surroundings and Miami being a shithole, right?
- 54:17SPEAKER_01: Like no, no one took the game seriously over there.
- 54:20SPEAKER_01: They're they all kept losing.
- 54:21SPEAKER_01: They're just partying and doing coke.
- 54:23SPEAKER_01: And then no one ever got a chance to play football in Miami.
- 54:26SPEAKER_01: So Jalen Waddle gets over here.
- 54:29SPEAKER_01: Uh, the Broncos schedule is really nice.
- 54:32SPEAKER_01: I mean, it it's right now from what I'm seeing here, it's like the 11th uh easiest schedule.
- 54:39SPEAKER_01: Um, but what really I makes me salivate at the lips here is the fact that the back half is seventh easiest uh strength of schedule for his uh fantasy playoffs in late season.
- 54:53SPEAKER_01: So if you're needing somebody that's gonna score you 15 or 20 points when you know other guys are either injured or shit in the bed, I think Jalen Waddle is gonna really step up for you.
- 55:04SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 55:05SPEAKER_00: I like that.
- 55:07SPEAKER_00: And I have Jalen Waddle at my number 20 as well.
- 55:11SPEAKER_01: Boo.
- 55:13SPEAKER_00: I really like him on the Broncos, man, with a good quarterback throwing in the ball.
- 55:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 55:18SPEAKER_00: And everything you said is true.
- 55:20SPEAKER_00: Like I feel like he didn't really get a chance in Miami.
- 55:22SPEAKER_00: I mean, Tyreek was awesome uh until he got injured, but he was overshadowing Jalen Waddle.
- 55:31SPEAKER_00: And I think the combo of him and Cortland Sutton will lead to plenty of opportunities.
- 55:36SPEAKER_00: And he does have a somewhat concerning injury history, but I can get past that.
- 55:41SPEAKER_00: And it's why we prepare, it's why we, you know, have a deep bench.
- 55:44SPEAKER_00: And you know, when he's on, he's a really good player.
- 55:48SPEAKER_00: So I think he's a great fit on the Broncos as their clear wide receiver one.
- 55:54SPEAKER_00: And um, the situation in Denver compared to Miami is much better, and probably generally speaking for any football player.
- 56:01SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I really like Waterwall team, and they went after him, they wanted him, so they clearly saw the value too, and that's why I got him rounding out my top 20.
- 56:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 56:14SPEAKER_00: Now at 21, I have Garrett Wilson.
- 56:19SPEAKER_00: As I mentioned earlier, I don't think Geno Smith can save this team.
- 56:23SPEAKER_00: I like Geno Smith, but no, Geno Atkins.
- 56:27SPEAKER_00: Geno Atkins, sure.
- 56:29SPEAKER_00: Uh, but he you know, he's got he's got a tough road ahead.
- 56:34SPEAKER_00: It's it's been tough for Geno Smith the last few years.
- 56:38SPEAKER_00: But um one thing, one good thing about Garrett Wilson is he gets peppered with targets.
- 56:44SPEAKER_00: So you should at least have a safe floor.
- 56:47SPEAKER_00: Um, I just don't see that ceiling being very high.
- 56:51SPEAKER_00: And I know he only played seven games last year, but he didn't miss a game during his first three seasons, so I'm not really concerned about that either.
- 56:58SPEAKER_00: I think he's healthy.
- 57:00SPEAKER_00: I I think he's hungry too.
- 57:02SPEAKER_00: You know, he he was frustrated over the last two seasons, and um it showed so I if Geno Smith can establish a nice rapport, I think I think they're gonna go hand in hand and and do well.
- 57:16SPEAKER_00: I just don't see that ceiling being very high, and that's why I got him outside of my top 20 at number 21.
- 57:25SPEAKER_01: Okay, yeah, no, definitely.
- 57:28SPEAKER_01: I'm definitely higher on on him than probably you know you, but the consensus I think is like you know, it's it's in the same area, right, between you and me.
- 57:38SPEAKER_01: So so it's pretty pretty general.
- 57:41SPEAKER_00: The the consensus I I think is actually even a little higher than you.
- 57:45SPEAKER_00: Uh I just can't do it.
- 57:47SPEAKER_00: I've had him on the team quite a few times, and uh maybe that's playing into it too.
- 57:53SPEAKER_00: But safe floor, you got that going for you, yes, sir.
- 57:58SPEAKER_01: Um now for my number 21, I actually have Zay Flowers.
- 58:02SPEAKER_01: Um, he did have a solid season last year.
- 58:05SPEAKER_01: You know, he stepped it up despite there being like a lot of injuries on the Ravens.
- 58:10SPEAKER_01: So I see him you know being a clear-cut number one.
- 58:14SPEAKER_01: They obviously drafted Jacoby Lane.
- 58:16SPEAKER_01: I like him as well, but it's gonna help take some of that pressure off of off of Zay because he's always been the number one there, and there hasn't been any other option that even came close, right?
- 58:26SPEAKER_01: And I think there's a first year Baltimore has actually addressed that.
- 58:30SPEAKER_01: So that's gonna give Zay more flat more uh more flowers, more opportunities.
- 58:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and the only thing with him is he's a draft candidate, you get, but I I consider uh selling him before the half of the season.
- 58:44SPEAKER_01: So right now his his schedule is the second easiest for his position uh for wide receivers for the first half of the season, and then the back half is he's looking at 30, 30 if so the uh one of the hardest schedules.
- 58:59SPEAKER_01: Um, so that's the only concern is you're gonna get a lot of production up front, and then it's gonna flat line or falter out.
- 59:06SPEAKER_01: So that's why I have him a little bit lower than probably most.
- 59:10SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah, I think the consensus is a little higher on him than that, but that's okay.
- 59:16SPEAKER_00: That's that's why we're talking.
- 59:19SPEAKER_00: Now for 22.
- 59:21SPEAKER_00: I have no idea how you feel about this guy, but I have Mike Evans.
- 59:26SPEAKER_00: He's the number one in San Francisco now.
- 59:28SPEAKER_00: The wide receiver room has been in complete disarray.
- 59:33SPEAKER_00: And a vet like Mike Evans, in my opinion, is a great addition.
- 59:36SPEAKER_00: I don't care if he's been in the league in 10 or 12 years and is well past his prime, he's still a monster.
- 59:43SPEAKER_00: And I expect another season over a thousand yards if he can stay healthy.
- 59:47SPEAKER_00: But I'm pretty sure he can he can stay healthy.
- 59:50SPEAKER_00: That entire team has been marred with injuries and they need to stay healthy.
- 59:53SPEAKER_00: So I feel like that's gonna be a focal point for them is keeping Mike Evans healthy.
- 59:58SPEAKER_00: And there's no way around that guy getting a thousand yards if he's on the football field for you know 15 games.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_00: So as the number one receiver in San Francisco, I think he's gonna do very well.
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_00: I like Brock Purdy throwing him the ball, and that's why I got him at 22.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_01: You know, it's crazy too.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_01: I don't have him in my top 25, but I will add this.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_01: Um with Brock Purdy at quarterback, you might even see a higher ceiling for uh for him this year, right?
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_01: Mike Evans.
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_01: As long as he is healthy, but uh, you know, I do I'm a big fan of the guy.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_01: You can actually get him in the eighth round in the fantasy draft, seventh to eighth round.
- 1:00:45SPEAKER_01: If you're getting Mike Evans as your third best receiver, you're fucking killing it.
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_00: For sure.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_01: Let me tell you that.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_00: For sure.
- 1:00:51SPEAKER_00: He imagine having him in your flex spot.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_00: How good that would feel.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_01: So my number 22.
- 1:00:57SPEAKER_01: Uh, I have a guy that just got to change the scenery, and I think it's gonna be do wonders for him.
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_01: Uh, he's a new wide receiver, the new number one for the Buffalo Bills, DJ Moore.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_01: Um, last year was a pretty midny yoker year.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_01: He only averaged 10.6 points per game.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_01: Uh, he ended up only getting 5.3 targets per game.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_01: So you can tell that Chicago was just a terrible place for him.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_01: Uh, but historically, he has always been a really consistent top 20 wide receiver, right?
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_01: When he is getting the looks.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_01: You know, for a team that was looking for their identity, I mean, they're going to be feeding him the ball like like you saw Diggs getting fed.
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_01: So expect him to get peppered with eight to ten targets per game.
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_01: And right now, he is probably one of the most undervalued wide receivers.
- 1:01:42SPEAKER_01: You're getting him in the same round as Mike Evans.
- 1:01:45SPEAKER_01: You're getting him, well, you're getting him typically in a sixth to eighth round.
- 1:01:49SPEAKER_01: Um, if you're looking for like if you need wide receiver depth, let's say you only picked up one wide receiver in the first few rounds, and it's round number six, and he's your second best receiver.
- 1:02:00SPEAKER_01: I mean, you're you're definitely still getting wide receiver one production from the guy.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_01: So, you know, it's a really nice late pick.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 1:02:08SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_00: I will talk about him in one minute.
- 1:02:11SPEAKER_00: Um for 23, I have Luther Burton.
- 1:02:18SPEAKER_00: This is another great combo with Burden and Adunze.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_00: I'm actually not sure which of the two will finish higher, but my gut and the consensus say it's Burton.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_00: He showed up at the end of last season.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_00: He finished strong.
- 1:02:32SPEAKER_00: I really like the role he's carved out in Chicago, and I just think he's gonna pick up right where he left off.
- 1:02:39SPEAKER_00: That's why I got him at 23.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_01: Now, for my number 23, I have uh another second, second best wide receiver on his team.
- 1:02:50SPEAKER_01: I mean, when the guy was on the field, he was averaging 15.9 points per game.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_01: I actually tried to make several trades for him last season.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_01: Uh Devontae Adams, uh, he's coming back into a situation where uh, you know it's crazy.
- 1:03:04SPEAKER_01: He got actually got 114 targets last year, and he only caught 60 of them.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_01: So for a guy that was averaging 16 points per game and 789 yards total, he I know he missed at least five or six games, and the guy still put up those kind of numbers, right?
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_01: Uh so that's first year with a whole new quarterback.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_01: So now he has another year with Matt Safford, another year under this offensive system.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_01: So you're gonna see a lot of that.
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_01: Uh, you may not see Green Bay Packers, Devontae Adams, but uh you're gonna see a pretty good version of him that's gonna get you at least 15 to 18 points per game.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_01: So picking him up, he might, if he's going earlier than the six, I don't think it's worth it.
- 1:03:48SPEAKER_01: But uh he's I'd give him like a six or seventh round trade value or target value for a draft.
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, oh yeah.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_00: And that rolls perfectly into 24 because I have Devontae Adams.
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_00: Every reason you just mentioned, he's a red zone monster, too.
- 1:04:07SPEAKER_00: He is obviously the top target for Matthew Stafford in the red zone.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_00: Now that that might not be the same this year, but he had 14 touchdowns last year.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_00: He's a constant threat.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_00: Everybody in the league knows him.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_00: They do not ever allow him to be open in the red zone, but he still makes it happen.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_00: Everybody knows what he's gonna do, and he still makes it happen.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_00: I expect more of the same.
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_00: He's gonna be a constant threat, get plenty of targets, end zone targets, and that's more than enough for me to draft him, especially when we're talking about in the later rounds, you know, six, seven, eight, whatever.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm I'm even cool with the sixth round because of the touchdown upside.
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_00: But yeah, man, he's he's a great addition to your team because he's that dude that is is going to give you a solid floor if he's on the football field.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_01: 24.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_01: I have a guy coming back from injury, scary Terry McLaurin.
- 1:05:07SPEAKER_01: He's coming back from injury, Jaden Daniels is coming back from injury.
- 1:05:11SPEAKER_01: You know, they're they're coming back to a team that I think has expectations to win and to compete.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_01: And the NFC East is always competing despite, you know, uh them not being as successful.
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_01: They're always going to give you your best game, right?
- 1:05:24SPEAKER_01: I noticed that uh for Terry McLaurin, when he was on the field uh Jaden Daniels' first year, he was one of the top 10 wide receivers.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_01: Like he was just killing it, giving you like I know he had a couple games where he had multiple uh 50 yard bombs, and and he was just killing whoever he went against.
- 1:05:43SPEAKER_01: So uh I expect that chemistry to be there.
- 1:05:46SPEAKER_01: Um they did uh obviously lose Debo into offseason.
- 1:05:52SPEAKER_01: Do you know if they added any wide receivers?
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they added digs, which is I think is great for McLaurin because that I do like Diggs.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_00: I feel like that role that he's going to have there is is different than Debo.
- 1:06:04SPEAKER_00: And that I think that's going to help scary Terry.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_01: Because it's going to spread it.
- 1:06:09SPEAKER_01: He's going to go over the middle of the field and outs more than and give Terry more those deep routes.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_01: Whereas Debo is just kind of doing short slants and you know ends and stuff like that.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_01: So they weren't really using him.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_01: They weren't really using him correctly.
- 1:06:23SPEAKER_01: But uh I agree.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_01: Heaven Diggs, he's not in my top 25, but I am definitely a believer of Diggs putting up some really good numbers.
- 1:06:31SPEAKER_00: I do too.
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_00: I like Diggs and think it think it's going to be beneficial for him and Terry McLaurin.
- 1:06:39SPEAKER_00: Now to finish my list, rounding out the top 25, I have DJ Moore.
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_00: The reasons you mentioned, absolutely.
- 1:06:48SPEAKER_00: And I just think the wide receiver room was too crowded in Chicago.
- 1:06:52SPEAKER_00: So I was really happy to see him go to Buffalo where he is going to be the wide receiver one.
- 1:06:57SPEAKER_00: He gives you peaks and valleys in fantasy, but overall, he's more consistent than people realize.
- 1:07:03SPEAKER_00: Like if you look at his numbers throughout every season, they're pretty legit.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_00: And I ex I expect him to go off this year.
- 1:07:10SPEAKER_00: I could easily see him finishing much higher than 25.
- 1:07:13SPEAKER_00: But you know, being on a new team, getting accustomed to the offense, I'm not exactly sure.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_00: So that's why I have him at 25, but I can easily easily see him finishing inside the top 20 or possibly closer to 15.
- 1:07:27SPEAKER_01: Now to finish off my number 25, um, you already mentioned him, so it's not gonna be any uh sleepers or anything like that.
- 1:07:37SPEAKER_01: But uh another number two on his team, and we're getting this far into the list, it's gotta be, right?
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_01: So we're looking at Mr.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_01: T.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_01: Higgins, wide receiver Cincinnati Bengals.
- 1:07:46SPEAKER_01: He does have a uh a spotty injury history, so that's the only thing that concerns me about him.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_01: Um, but if you're ever to get able to get him late enough, I think he's worth the pick.
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_01: However, from what I've been seeing in ADP, he's somewhere around between the sixth and the eighth.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_01: And personally, uh I only see the value in like the seventh or eighth or later, you know, seventh or later.
- 1:08:10SPEAKER_01: So that's me personally, because I can't, you know, on good good faith put a high draft pick into a guy that's probably only gonna pay play half of the season.
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_01: When he's there, he's gonna kill it, give you 20 points.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_01: But that's you know, I I want a guy I can count on, not somebody that I feel like is gonna possibly be out with another entry, right?
- 1:08:30SPEAKER_01: Um but overall his numbers last year uh were solid, 15 points per game.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_01: When he was playing, he had 846 receiving yards, so he almost hit a thousand.
- 1:08:41SPEAKER_01: Uh he was at one of the league leaders with 11 touchdowns, actually, if not the leader with co-leader with Amon Ross and Brown.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_01: So um, no, actually, Devontae had 14, so he was number two.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, his schedule is pretty solid.
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_01: He has like the 10th uh easiest schedule, first eight games, and the fourth easiest to back half, or the the eighth easiest to back half.
- 1:09:08SPEAKER_01: So he has a really steady stream of you know uh you know easy games, right?
- 1:09:14SPEAKER_01: Because the Bengals play in a terrible division, right?
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_01: So you're gonna see them play, you know, two terrible teams four times total for the year.
- 1:09:23SPEAKER_01: So that's gonna be sprinkled into your schedule.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_01: So it when he is healthy, he will give you a good good return.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_01: But you just gotta be willing to accept the fact that he's not gonna be there all the time.
- 1:09:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, sadly that pattern has panned out too many times.
- 1:09:39SPEAKER_00: But when he's on the field, he's a monster.
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_01: You know, we know you took we took up a lot of your time here today, but we appreciate you guys.
