- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm running on
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: very, very little sleep right now.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: Trayvon Walker, the risk did not play.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: Kind of felt like he had a good chance to play after practicing and getting the risk, the risk to all wrapped up and cast it up and put in a club for practice on Saturday.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_00]: So limited Saturday does that mean he's probably likely to go for Sunday?
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously it's a short week, but the fact that he didn't play, I think,
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's not like he's coming off of a short week in terms of having to play the game last night.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't have to play in the game.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_00]: So my best guess would be that you will see him, but it remains a question marker.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: It means a question mark if he'll be able to play on Sunday against the C. Hawks, it's a huge game.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a division or conference game, but
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: It is a game against a very talented team, a team that's playing well, pretty well on both sides of the ball.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think has some good coaching on both sides of the ball, and we're going to talk about that game a lot coming up here over the next few days, but Trayvon Walker, you want to have him out there.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think that the Jaguars clearly missed him.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: Pretty big yesterday, and part of that is just, you know, you have an ability to rush
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: more effectively when Traybaum Walker is on the field than when he's not, that's just point blank period, end of story, that's the way it is.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: He's one of your best players on the team.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: Him lining up opposite Josh Heinz Allen and moving around, that just makes things really difficult on an offense.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: So I think you definitely want to see him back and it remains to be seen.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: Winnele would be back.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: He was questionable for the game.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: hopefully he'll be able to go against the seahawks and then be his same effect of self.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, without full functionality of your hand, one of your hands that could impact things, but we'll see how that goes.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: Some more question marks, injury wise.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: Anton Harrison has been battling through a couple things, had the elbow, he missed like two plays against the Chiefs last night in Chuma, Doga, Kman, and he's somebody, you know, Chuma that I feel pretty darn good about
- 3:31[SPEAKER_00]: but you also had Robert Hainesy leaving the game with a hamstring and Jonah Monheim came in and filled in for him and did an admirable job.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: Everything you've heard from Liam Cohen has been very positive about how Jonah Monheim
- 3:45[SPEAKER_00]: played and how he's prepared and the confidence that they have in him the seventh round rookie out of USC who played left tackle at USC played some guard in Jacksonville's he's really I think looked at as a center more than anything else and I think that's where he should be viewed
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: but he had to come in and you know play against a talented interior defense of front that features Chris Jones.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: He had to play 17 snaps.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: He gave up one pressure.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: You want Robert Hainesy out there because he's a team captain.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: He's a leader.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: He's a good football player.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: And he's somebody who kind of helps as a glue communicator and things like that.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: And just the way he handles himself out on the field, but he left with a hamstring injury as I mentioned Anton Harrison's been battling a little bit Ezra Cleveland and Patrick McCary both played the whole game.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_00]: I believe, but Both of those guys were were dealing with injuries and were limited.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: On a short week, is there potential for any kind of setbacks with some of these guys?
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: There may have to be seen Liam Cohen did speak with the media earlier today, but did not have any injury updates and...
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: they'll start getting an injury report out on Wednesday tomorrow.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see some more information there potentially.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: But those are some big big question marks there.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: And then Britain strange.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: He left the game with a hip injury and didn't return.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: And he's a really, you know, dynamic tie-dend for the Jaguar is great blocker, physical tone setter, but a really good receiver as well.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: So he's somebody you definitely want to have available.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: And now it's not like the Jaguars don't have other options
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: should they need to turn to those guys you know hunter long is capable of making plays Johnny mutt has played a lot in this league.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: They also signed Quentin Morris to the active roster on on Sunday and and I believe they had to release um straighter the backup running back the forestry and running back so um I had to do that because I think they had already called him up from the practice squad Quentin Morris the maximum amount of times that they could do that so
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see hopefully Brent and Stranger's okay because you know, you talk about Brent and Stranger, Robert Hainesy, Anton, I think is probably gonna be fine.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: But you talk about those two guys and then Trayvon, those are some of your best players and the Jaguar's have a lot of really good players so that's not a question mark.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: The fact that they do have a lot of talent across the board but you want to have those guys out there.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think a question mark is when will this offense pre-snap really start humming?
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: Because you see examples of it where it's really clean, it's really smooth, and they get into a look.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: And Trevor Lawrence has to change the play at Linus Grimige, and he does it perfectly.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: But then you also see times where you have to waste time out, times where you have to lay of game, times where you have a little bit of pre-snap clunkiness, all these things.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_00]: It's a complex offense, and all these guys are still kind of learning on the fly for the most part.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: How it needs to operate.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: This type of offense does lend itself to more pre-snap issues and some other offenses, again, because of just how complicated it can be and how many moving parts there are.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: But the question is, when or if the Jaguar can really be a super clean pre-snap operation on offense, that's something you're gonna need at some point during the season, if they were cleaner against the Bengals.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: You never know, right?
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you're sitting at five and oh tackling was a major issue really for the first time I think against the chiefs and just kind of like the aggressive flow and one direction and then the offense coming back the other way So just like the pursuit angles and the tackling and all that stuff It was the worst it's been against the chiefs and the chiefs running backs really hadn't been doing much prior to this game and they you know
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: and Kareem Hunt, for Shard Smith got involved, all those guys kind of look as good as they have all year.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_00]: And so you don't want that at all to start creeping into this defense, because this is a defense that's been fundamentally sound, even though they're aggressive and a defense that really, sorry, the camera focus is getting a little messed up there.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: A defense that you really felt really confident in,
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: When you're going against the chiefs, it's difficult, right?
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: Life is difficult.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: When you're going up against Patrick Mahons and can't see the chiefs in all the speed, they have in the play calling of Andy Reed, et cetera, but that was a performance tackling wise and vision on the ball and discipline and all that that you want to really clean up from.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: So that's something.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: Tyson Campbell is such an enigma to me right now because you look at him in the way he's playing
- 8:48[SPEAKER_00]: In 2025, he is only allowing 51% of the targets his way in primary coverage to be completed.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: If you look at that, you think that's really pretty good.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, no quarterback wants to be completing 50% of his passes.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: You don't.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: But then,
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: You look at it and he is just giving up at least one long play every single game, 42 yard or against T-higgins in week 2.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: 50 yarder against Nico Collins in week three, 31 yarder against Ricky Pierce Hall in week four, 34 yarder.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_00]: Kansas City Chiefs last night, Taekwant Thorton, and that could have been a touchdown if that was a better throw.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: Tyson Campbell was not in a good position to defend Taekwant Thorton on that play.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like, okay, I love your effort.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: I love the way you come down,
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: most of your reps, but offenses are getting confident that they can beat him down the field.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: That's not good for a CB1 that's getting paid $20 million a year.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: So he's got to tighten up.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it just needs to be a little bit more consistent.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: And corner back is one of those positions where you really like, you can play great at the whole game, but if you have a couple of bad reps, it looks like you got a bad game.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: So, it's tough situation to be in, but he's got to really effectively reduce the amount of long completions he's giving up, that's happening every week.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: Overall, not a question.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_00]: We're getting into the not a question.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: Parts of this analysis here, just to wrap things up.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not worried about the Jaguar's Paspro.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not worried about the Jaguar's run game right now.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: It looks like Trevor's connection with his receivers, specifically the top two receivers.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter and Brian Thomas Jr.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: is starting to sharpen, starting to get a little bit better and improve with, you know, more time on task in this offense with those guys.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously getting the army brown back, I think is a big deal.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: There's no questioning this team's toughness.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: They've shown the toughness, the resiliency, the never say die, the never quit attitude.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: It was on full display.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you can question this team's talent quite honestly.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is a very talented football team.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: And then the coaching, I think, has been outstanding on both sides of the ball and not perfect without standing just from a teaching, connecting and then dialing it up X's and I was wise.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: Using the pieces you have at a really high level.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's where we're at.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all being here.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: We will have more for you tomorrow.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all have a good one.
