- 1:00Speaker 2: all today by choice. I want just want by myself. Today.
- 1:06Speaker 2: I am drinking high quality Age two.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:09Speaker 2: But I'll be a little honest. Before I came into
- 1:11Speaker 2: the cantina, I had a few glasses of wine. So
- 1:15Speaker 2: that's gonna be a really interesting pot Not really, It's
- 1:17Speaker 2: not gonna be anything too crazy. Today. I'm gonna be
- 1:21Speaker 2: a communications major who did very well in math and
- 1:25Speaker 2: college psych and talk finances not my own because I'd
- 1:29Speaker 2: be stupid. So I have debated on talking about this
- 1:36Speaker 2: for a bit. Actually, no joke. I literally I can
- 1:38Speaker 2: see the sticking on in front of me. When I did
- 1:40Speaker 2: episode one ninety save then the I'm Back episode I
- 1:48Speaker 2: literally had wrote down because I mentioned the Warner Brothers sale,
- 1:52Speaker 2: and I wrote down the Warner Brothers Netflix deal, and
- 1:56Speaker 2: literally on the piece of paper you can see Netflix
- 1:58Speaker 2: is kind of not written all the way. It's kind
- 2:01Speaker 2: of like foreshadowing. I don't know, It's like I could
- 2:03Speaker 2: see what was going on. Long story short, this Warner
- 2:09Speaker 2: Brothers thing has been a I'm not gonna say debacle.
- 2:13Speaker 2: It has been an ongoing battle of terms. Who's gonna
- 2:16Speaker 2: get it, who's gonna buy it? Who wants it? Do
- 2:18Speaker 2: they even really want to sell? Do they want to
- 2:20Speaker 2: do this? Do they want to do that? Can they
- 2:22Speaker 2: all just sit down and just figure the shit out.
- 2:25Speaker 2: There's so many jobs and people's things on the line.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah yeah yeah, but of course I want the people
- 2:28Speaker 2: care about the shareholders and the peoples in suits and times. Yeah. Yeah,
- 2:31Speaker 2: that's life just rambling down here for usual. And the
- 2:35Speaker 2: reason I didn't do it is because I just had
- 2:38Speaker 2: a hunch. Initially, when the deal went through, I was
- 2:42Speaker 2: shocked because I was sure that sky Dancer Paramount was
- 2:45Speaker 2: going to get it. And then I've talked about it
- 2:49Speaker 2: a little bit here and there, but we brief mentioned
- 2:52Speaker 2: something too crazy, but I didn't want to do a
- 2:54Speaker 2: one because I'm just like, I just gotta because all
- 2:56Speaker 2: these all all these reports were coming up about like, oh, Netflix,
- 3:00Speaker 2: Warner Brothers are doing this or preparing for this. But
- 3:03Speaker 2: then you see articles that Skydance Paramount they're trying to
- 3:06Speaker 2: contact shareholders directly to do a what was it called
- 3:10Speaker 2: hostile takeover? Someone nothing like someone on those lines tame
- 3:13Speaker 2: the exact wording all this stuff, and they got to
- 3:15Speaker 2: the point where, literally two weeks ago, if that report
- 3:17Speaker 2: came out saying Warner Brothers is giving Paramount seven days
- 3:22Speaker 2: to beat Netflix's offer, and they did. They made them
- 3:27Speaker 2: an offer they could refuse. And then if my if
- 3:32Speaker 2: my sources are correct, the thing stuff'm reading online, because
- 3:35Speaker 2: of course everything you read online is true from the
- 3:38Speaker 2: major trades. Essentially, they gave Netflix four to five days
- 3:42Speaker 2: to rebuttal like, hey, Paramount up their offer, We financially
- 3:47Speaker 2: believe this is a better offer for us and our shareholders.
- 3:50Speaker 2: How do you respond? And apparently Ted Sarano's head of
- 3:52Speaker 2: Netflix and CEO, apparently they even take them two hours
- 3:56Speaker 2: to respond. They said, nope, we're out. It's like, wow,
- 4:07Speaker 2: that was quick. So Paramount Skydance gets it. And the
- 4:10Speaker 2: funny thing is, and I'll get to the numbers here
- 4:12Speaker 2: in a second. There's a lot of things people don't realize.
- 4:16Speaker 2: So I believe the number right now is and I'll
- 4:19Speaker 2: get to the math and like why it's if you're
- 4:21Speaker 2: here in a second, Paramount is looking to get Warner
- 4:25Speaker 2: Brothers for thirty one dollars a share. The valuation is
- 4:30Speaker 2: estimated to be one hundred and ten billion dollars. Now
- 4:35Speaker 2: that's great and all, but with your all the problems
- 4:37Speaker 2: we have in this country, couldn't you know, maybe they
- 4:40Speaker 2: just give you know, the people this country, then you need
- 4:42Speaker 2: just like a smidgeon of that or some shit. Anyway,
- 4:44Speaker 2: different conversation, different time. The issue is, this is what
- 4:49Speaker 2: people don't understand. And I talk about this with my
- 4:51Speaker 2: father in law and some other friends. Netflix didn't buy
- 4:55Speaker 2: all of Warner Brothers. They bought the studio, Warner Brothers
- 5:02Speaker 2: and HBO. Now there are some other little subsidiaries, for example,
- 5:08Speaker 2: like the video games they bought that, the library and
- 5:10Speaker 2: all that stuff, but that essentially is the main thing
- 5:12Speaker 2: they bought because those are included in those They didn't
- 5:16Speaker 2: buy anything else. The thame people forget is Warner Brothers
- 5:19Speaker 2: not just one ros. It's Warner Brothers Discovery. Because I've
- 5:21Speaker 2: joked about here on the podcast before, is I still
- 5:24Speaker 2: understand how Discovery, the Discovery Channel bought Warner Brothers. Now
- 5:28Speaker 2: over the years we talked about because Warner Brothers, where
- 5:30Speaker 2: they were at the time was not in a good spot.
- 5:33Speaker 2: But like, literally it's like Chip and Joanna Gaines bought Batman.
- 5:37Speaker 2: The fuck That's what happened. Literally, Now the Netflix Staler
- 5:43Speaker 2: was supposed to be just those two properties because originally
- 5:47Speaker 2: what Warner Brothers was going to do is they were
- 5:48Speaker 2: going to which doesn't make any sense. Discovery and Warner
- 5:52Speaker 2: Brothers came in together, or Discovery bought Warner Brothers. They
- 5:56Speaker 2: could buy into two companies in the one and Discovery
- 5:58Speaker 2: is like, Okay, we're gonna take one Brothers and HBO
- 6:01Speaker 2: are two hottest properties, split them up in their own
- 6:03Speaker 2: company and be Warner Brothers. Everything else, CNN, all this
- 6:05Speaker 2: other stuff is just say together as Discovery. It's like,
- 6:10Speaker 2: so you feel bad for work for Discovery because it's
- 6:12Speaker 2: like not that it's dying, but it's not anywhere near valuable,
- 6:15Speaker 2: Water Brothers and HBO, but Paramount bought all of it.
- 6:22Speaker 2: They bought Warner Brothers, they bought HBO, they bought the
- 6:26Speaker 2: video games, they bought the TV channels, they bought TNT, TBS, CNN,
- 6:33Speaker 2: all of this. And it's just insane that like within
- 6:38Speaker 2: a matter of two weeks. And here's a funny thing too,
- 6:42Speaker 2: forget about the two weeks comment. When this deal first
- 6:46Speaker 2: happened with Netflix, a lot of people were because Netflix
- 6:49Speaker 2: is not known for being the theater business, but a
- 6:52Speaker 2: lot of like cooler head to prevail because a lot
- 6:55Speaker 2: of people who are doubting Netflix's ability to do this,
- 6:58Speaker 2: They literally came on and said, we are not changing
- 6:59Speaker 2: them about Warner Brothers. Essentially, they're gonna run at their
- 7:01Speaker 2: own company and we're just gonna collect the cash. That's
- 7:04Speaker 2: what they claimed, which is good because that means less
- 7:09Speaker 2: people lose their jobs. There's still that competition aspect and
- 7:12Speaker 2: stuff like that. Like for example, yeah there's Disney, but
- 7:16Speaker 2: like they bought twenty century Fox. Twenty century Fox are
- 7:20Speaker 2: still in the movie studio. Sure they're in Disney Corporation,
- 7:23Speaker 2: but they're still there are still a movie studio that
- 7:25Speaker 2: hires people has jobs and all this stuff. It's not
- 7:27Speaker 2: just one less thing, you know, because they have twentieth
- 7:30Speaker 2: Century Marvel, Lucas, Pixar, this animation like all those. But
- 7:39Speaker 2: with Netflix it would have been like, yeah, we're have Netflix,
- 7:41Speaker 2: we have Warner Brothers, and like it was just but
- 7:43Speaker 2: essentially cool to a lot of people's minds. Off these idea
- 7:46Speaker 2: that like, oh shit, they're just gonna essentially subsidize and
- 7:50Speaker 2: you know or what's that Oh forget what that word is,
- 7:54Speaker 2: you know, or don't we don't need trim the fit,
- 7:56Speaker 2: we don't need to have that many people work in
- 7:58Speaker 2: the same job, all that stuff, and moved on. Now
- 8:03Speaker 2: with this deal with Paramount buying them, it's been iffy.
- 8:09Speaker 2: There's reports saying they are going to cut people. There's
- 8:11Speaker 2: reports saying they are going to cut people. They are
- 8:13Speaker 2: gonna cut people. I literally saw one where allegedly someone
- 8:18Speaker 2: from Paramounts said we have to cut five billion dollars
- 8:21Speaker 2: worth of of like employments and like especially we need
- 8:27Speaker 2: to do a five billion dollar budget cut in order
- 8:31Speaker 2: to like you know, pay the bills and stuff like that.
- 8:35Speaker 2: And allegedly Netflix came out and said, actually, you guys
- 8:38Speaker 2: did it wrong when we had it for all two seconds.
- 8:42Speaker 2: We value that they that budget cut you need to
- 8:44Speaker 2: make at twelve. So clearly the math is not made
- 8:49Speaker 2: for some people. But and I'm indifferent because I would
- 8:57Speaker 2: prefer to have the studios not be bought by each other.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Because there's a book that I read it but controversy
- 9:05Speaker 2: creates cash. It's a book from like twenty years ago,
- 9:07Speaker 2: and I love that title because I think competition is
- 9:11Speaker 2: what makes any company or anyone better. You can't have
- 9:18Speaker 2: That's the best way to say it. As much as
- 9:21Speaker 2: I love Star Wars, you can't have. You're always gonna
- 9:24Speaker 2: have your Star Wars, Star Trek Battles, your Marvel, DC, Batman,
- 9:30Speaker 2: Spider Man, Football, NFL. You know what's the biggest sport
- 9:35Speaker 2: in our world? Is it NFL or soccer? I mean,
- 9:37Speaker 2: I'm a football guy, but I'm the first to admit
- 9:39Speaker 2: it's really that's the actual football or from Europe, biggest
- 9:42Speaker 2: sport in the world. But the problem is if they're
- 9:45Speaker 2: all owned by the same person, It's like, what's really
- 9:48Speaker 2: the point. Because I'm the first one to say too,
- 9:50Speaker 2: if you don't have competition, you get lazy. And I
- 9:53Speaker 2: don't mean that as like you're trying to be lazy.
- 9:55Speaker 2: You just the hair in the back. You're not just
- 9:58Speaker 2: get up that much. I mean, I'm not going to
- 10:00Speaker 2: go into it, you know, I'm not gonna go to
- 10:02Speaker 2: the wrestling part of this. But like there's a reason
- 10:05Speaker 2: why they say the greatest time ever in wrestling is
- 10:06Speaker 2: the Monday Night Wars. Two companies by two billionaires, and
- 10:12Speaker 2: they're just trying to strive for each other to just
- 10:15Speaker 2: essentially take each other out of business by doing things
- 10:18Speaker 2: on TV at the time that were it's the word
- 10:27Speaker 2: revolutionaries one of them, but rebellious. There's a reason I
- 10:32Speaker 2: was called the edit era because like literally there was
- 10:34Speaker 2: so they're doing on the TV shows, which is asked them,
- 10:36Speaker 2: but it was just it was done not the sole
- 10:38Speaker 2: purpose of just to make a buck. It was done
- 10:40Speaker 2: the sole purpose to outperform and out entertain the other
- 10:45Speaker 2: show because they knew if they did that then the
- 10:47Speaker 2: cash would come. And that's what ended up happening, which
- 10:49Speaker 2: is why Vince bought Ted Turner his company out in
- 10:53Speaker 2: two thousand and one. Now there's other reasons, and that
- 10:56Speaker 2: I'm not a good to that A lot of it's
- 10:58Speaker 2: kind of actually a little familiar to this situation with
- 11:00Speaker 2: terms of someone buying a company, but that's already here.
- 11:02Speaker 2: It's a different story, different time. But it's one of
- 11:07Speaker 2: those things that though it's like I would prefer Netflix
- 11:12Speaker 2: to have had it based on the fact they so
- 11:15Speaker 2: soa they're gonna leave it alone, but from the sound
- 11:18Speaker 2: it sounds like Paramun's not gonna do that. Again. Things
- 11:23Speaker 2: can change, but it just sucks because it's like you
- 11:25Speaker 2: don't want to see, you don't want from what you want.
- 11:27Speaker 2: A lot of people lose their jobs. And also the
- 11:29Speaker 2: same time too, it's like that's it, especially for like
- 11:32Speaker 2: myself who's getting into voice acting, or just other actors
- 11:34Speaker 2: or people even just people working. It's less, it's less uh,
- 11:43Speaker 2: less employers, it's less opportunities to go after because again
- 11:47Speaker 2: it's like, yeah, we don't have you know, we don't
- 11:49Speaker 2: there's not two major studios with like you know, we'll say,
- 11:51Speaker 2: like what twenty production companies are them? Now it's just
- 11:54Speaker 2: one studio with ten It's like, wait, why would we
- 11:57Speaker 2: hire you? We have Jimbob, I've been with her forever.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Jim Bob doesn't want to do it, but that's where
- 12:03Speaker 2: he's gonna do it anything because he wants to keep
- 12:04Speaker 2: his job. It just that shit sucks, but fun stuff
- 12:10Speaker 2: all right, now for some fun numbers. It's just the
- 12:13Speaker 2: liberty of just breaking down some stuff. Of course, yes
- 12:17Speaker 2: I use some AI processing. I'm afraid of a minute,
- 12:21Speaker 2: sorry Chris or other people. This helps a little bit
- 12:23Speaker 2: with the numbers. I'm not great with not the greatest
- 12:25Speaker 2: with with reading math. But essentially, what Paramount gains by
- 12:32Speaker 2: buying Warner Brothers they at HBO that writes the DC films,
- 12:35Speaker 2: video games, Harry Potter, CNN, Star Trek, Nickelodeon, CBS. Deal
- 12:45Speaker 2: reportedly is a one hundred and ten billion valuation financing
- 12:48Speaker 2: from banks and investors. A lot of it comes from
- 12:51Speaker 2: the Ellison family and outside funds. So and the reason
- 12:58Speaker 2: why then steal likely we'll go through is because the
- 13:00Speaker 2: Stichtish shareholders say that five times fast. They prefer cash
- 13:07Speaker 2: because cash is chaos in some of my households. So
- 13:10Speaker 2: they've never heard me say that before, which is not true.
- 13:14Speaker 2: So essentially would be thirty one dollars per share in cash,
- 13:18Speaker 2: and you know it's mediate money. It's in your pocket,
- 13:21Speaker 2: no questions asked, and it is the highest offer among
- 13:23Speaker 2: others which could drive the shareholders to approve the deal
- 13:30Speaker 2: and as even before it goes through government regulations and
- 13:33Speaker 2: all that stuff. But here's why, actually this deal might
- 13:35Speaker 2: not happen, which is interesting. So apparently Netflix had the
- 13:41Speaker 2: money they had, they were they were, you know, it's
- 13:43Speaker 2: one of those like classical part wasna cash stocks this
- 13:46Speaker 2: and that promises all that shit, but with one of us,
- 13:50Speaker 2: we're pretty much saying all cash offer, which doesn't make
- 13:54Speaker 2: any sense because a lot of of people report it
- 14:01Speaker 2: they don't know where all this money is coming from.
- 14:04Speaker 2: There's a lot of reports of potential outside funding from
- 14:06Speaker 2: like you know, like allegedly like the Saudi's. There's other
- 14:10Speaker 2: like allege outside fundings and stuff like that. And it's
- 14:14Speaker 2: one of those things where it's like it's big of
- 14:15Speaker 2: a deal that says like you need to where the
- 14:16Speaker 2: money is coming from because people don't want to have
- 14:18Speaker 2: their name attached that, which makes sense. Another thing too,
- 14:23Speaker 2: is paramount with this deal. I know Oscar is going
- 14:27Speaker 2: to go into a huge line of debt, so much
- 14:30Speaker 2: so that their stock is becoming junk rated, which is
- 14:36Speaker 2: no bueno. It's again, I'm not a stock guy, but
- 14:41Speaker 2: I know it does lead to higher risks and ratings
- 14:45Speaker 2: for borrowing costs, bigger interest rates, like you know, less
- 14:51Speaker 2: likely to get certain loans and certain deals and all
- 14:55Speaker 2: that stuff. But the gist essentially is paramount is buying
- 15:01Speaker 2: something that is valued. They're buying something, they're buying something
- 15:07Speaker 2: way over price. If that was not that Warner Brothers
- 15:11Speaker 2: is not a valuable company. But perfect example, Disney bought
- 15:15Speaker 2: Fox for around I think it's like seventy something billion
- 15:17Speaker 2: dollars as we're talking about here. Before they had him
- 15:19Speaker 2: for forty and then Comcast stepped in and allegedly they
- 15:23Speaker 2: don't even know what people have said. They only think
- 15:25Speaker 2: Comcasts wanted to Fox twentieth century. They think that they
- 15:30Speaker 2: just just a fuck with the mouse, which hey, it's
- 15:33Speaker 2: a cruel, cruel ploy but it worked out. They spent
- 15:37Speaker 2: thirty billion more Jesus. But anyway, moving along, but yeah,
- 15:46Speaker 2: it's just there's there's just so much money involved in there,
- 15:49Speaker 2: and it's like okay, like let's say like for example's
- 15:50Speaker 2: say this steal goes through and all this money's in there,
- 15:52Speaker 2: It's like, okay, if you're on that board, how do
- 15:56Speaker 2: you handle those decisions? To go oscars really scared. How
- 16:01Speaker 2: do you handle those decisions in terms of what to
- 16:04Speaker 2: do next? Because it's like, Okay, we have one hundred
- 16:06Speaker 2: and ten billion dollars allegedly that we you know, this
- 16:09Speaker 2: Coe just got off for and we need to make
- 16:11Speaker 2: that money back. Now, how do we do it?
- 16:16Speaker 1: Go?
- 16:18Speaker 2: Uh, I don't know. Okay, great, you're fired. And this
- 16:23Speaker 2: was the problem with a lot of companies, like with
- 16:25Speaker 2: Warner Bros. That's been over to last. Like i'll say,
- 16:27Speaker 2: not twenty years, fifteen years. At and T, it's been
- 16:30Speaker 2: pretty much confirmed allegedly I'll say allegedly, just sort of
- 16:32Speaker 2: say of it. At and T the phone company got them.
- 16:36Speaker 2: They started making superhero movies. In light of Disney making
- 16:40Speaker 2: the Marvel movies and then being very successful, they hired
- 16:44Speaker 2: a director who I like, who visually makes some very
- 16:48Speaker 2: good movies in terms of story and plot. I'm just
- 16:52Speaker 2: gonna be honest. It's hit or miss. That's by critics
- 16:56Speaker 2: and audience standards. Can go look at any of Zack
- 16:58Speaker 2: Snyder's films on any rating things Ron Tomatoes, it's like
- 17:01Speaker 2: fifty to fifty. And he made the Superman movie Man
- 17:06Speaker 2: a Steel, which I really enjoy. It's long, it's very good,
- 17:10Speaker 2: but then they go right into Bamman be Superman. But
- 17:13Speaker 2: in the movie they have all the other heroes and
- 17:15Speaker 2: it's Justice League. Because essentially eighteen t he's like, no,
- 17:19Speaker 2: we got to have our own Avengers movie because we
- 17:21Speaker 2: need to make a billion dollars. The problem was, like
- 17:24Speaker 2: with Avengers, the reason it was so successful is because
- 17:26Speaker 2: before that they had let's see Captain America Hall. Yeah,
- 17:31Speaker 2: you had four movies, at least five. With Thorpe, you
- 17:36Speaker 2: had five movies before you finally pull the Okay, we're
- 17:42Speaker 2: gonna do the big climactic sequel where all the movies combined,
- 17:47Speaker 2: while with Soup the DC Universe, you essentially only did
- 17:50Speaker 2: one because they were all in that second movie before
- 17:52Speaker 2: the Justice League movie, and there was other things that
- 17:55Speaker 2: happened to But it there's a lot of everyone. Everyone's like, oh,
- 17:57Speaker 2: we should do it this, we should do it this way.
- 17:58Speaker 2: The problem with like the DC, they've never had like
- 18:00Speaker 2: a person actually running this ship on like now with
- 18:04Speaker 2: James Gunn and now, sure, they've only done a couple
- 18:06Speaker 2: of TV projects in one movie, but it's like they're
- 18:10Speaker 2: they're doing the Marvel blueprint. They're letting it build up.
- 18:13Speaker 2: They're taking time with it. The question is, though, does
- 18:17Speaker 2: actually go anywhere? Who knows because apparently James gun is
- 18:20Speaker 2: very against the ill say current administration, who the Ellisons,
- 18:25Speaker 2: who now own Oneer Brothers for the time being, are
- 18:26Speaker 2: very close with. So it's like, is that even gonna happen?
- 18:31Speaker 2: I don't know. There's been people who have said without
- 18:34Speaker 2: any then said no sources or tone on this, but
- 18:37Speaker 2: they don't believe that he's gonna stay long. So it's like, well, shit,
- 18:41Speaker 2: we just got this thing going and it's working out
- 18:43Speaker 2: so far financially it's working out, and we're about to
- 18:46Speaker 2: lose all the fucking thing. And there's obviously the concern
- 18:51Speaker 2: is about you know, you have now a major studio
- 18:53Speaker 2: owning at least two major news networks and CNNCBS, is
- 18:58Speaker 2: that a conflict of interest? Is that you start going
- 18:59Speaker 2: that monopoly stuff and that because the current administration is
- 19:03Speaker 2: very close with these people, allegedly do they just get
- 19:06Speaker 2: pats in the back. But the problem people don't pretend
- 19:08Speaker 2: to forget realize too is just because they are an
- 19:12Speaker 2: American company, this still has to actually gonnap prove I
- 19:15Speaker 2: mean this, I don't I'm like, but it's an American company,
- 19:18Speaker 2: so like why, But it's because they also work a
- 19:21Speaker 2: lot with stuff outside United States. I'm like, okay, but
- 19:23Speaker 2: I'm like, they're mainly an American companies, Like, how's that
- 19:25Speaker 2: affect it? But apparently this stuff has to pass. Fact
- 19:27Speaker 2: there's outside the United States too, which I'm like, that's
- 19:29Speaker 2: a little weird, but okay, that's the why it's written.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Who wrote that book? But again it's why to avoid monopolies,
- 19:37Speaker 2: So good good on them again, people with higher pay
- 19:39Speaker 2: grades than I have. It's just gonna be one of
- 19:43Speaker 2: those things. It's just like a wait and see because
- 19:45Speaker 2: here's the thing. This thing's gonna take months, if not years,
- 19:47Speaker 2: to get dead done. The problem you're going into, though,
- 19:50Speaker 2: is what if this doesn't get done? Because the funny
- 19:56Speaker 2: thing and they'll get to my next topica in a second. Supposedly,
- 20:00Speaker 2: the Netflix Warner Brothers deal, there was a I'm gonna paraphrase,
- 20:04Speaker 2: you're a little bit a two to five billion dollar buyout, Claus.
- 20:10Speaker 2: We're essentially if Warner essentially if one of them pull out,
- 20:14Speaker 2: And again I'm paraphrase, I don't have the exact numbers.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I don't have the exact numbers of facts in front
- 20:18Speaker 2: of me. Essentially, they had to pay who were pulled
- 20:19Speaker 2: out two to five billion dollars. So because Warner Brothers
- 20:27Speaker 2: technically not Netflix, Warner Brothers pulled out the Netflix deal,
- 20:32Speaker 2: they had to pay Netflix around two and a half
- 20:34Speaker 2: the three billion dollars. Acc according to outlets, Paramount paid
- 20:40Speaker 2: it on behalf of Warner Brothers because they own it
- 20:42Speaker 2: allegedly and it's already done. So Netflix just got three
- 20:45Speaker 2: billion dollars just for talking like okay, And now the
- 20:55Speaker 2: funny sketchy thing is a lot of people within Warner
- 20:59Speaker 2: Brothers are not happy. They weren't happy than Netflix. Do
- 21:01Speaker 2: you lie that? But they're a lot they're not. They're
- 21:03Speaker 2: nowhere nearest piss off as they are now with the
- 21:05Speaker 2: Paramount deal. And the CEO David Zaz pretty much had
- 21:08Speaker 2: this meeting saying like, hey, we're we believe this is
- 21:11Speaker 2: the best thing for us, but before we CEO speak,
- 21:13Speaker 2: it is what it is. And then he essentially made
- 21:17Speaker 2: the comment as if the deal actually goes through, and
- 21:21Speaker 2: then more reporting came out pretty much saying that if
- 21:22Speaker 2: it doesn't go through, Warner Brothers get seven billion dollars
- 21:26Speaker 2: just because and it's like, are they just using these
- 21:31Speaker 2: negotiations and just to make more money? Like what the fuck?
- 21:36Speaker 2: I mean, hey, go to hon them, I guess. But
- 21:37Speaker 2: at the same time, it's like where's all this money,
- 21:39Speaker 2: Like where's all this money coming from? Where you have
- 21:41Speaker 2: all these reports that like, oh, studios can't you know,
- 21:44Speaker 2: the movie theaters are dying, movie studios can't afford this
- 21:46Speaker 2: stuff anymore, they can't do this. But then yet here
- 21:48Speaker 2: we are. We're literally they just wrote a check to
- 21:50Speaker 2: Netflix for three billion dollars because oh sorry, we decided
- 21:52Speaker 2: to go. We decided to take a different girl with
- 21:54Speaker 2: the problem Like what but we might not go to
- 21:58Speaker 2: prom with her. She's gonna pick me up and her
- 22:02Speaker 2: dad's no, no, no action no uh. Netflix would pick me
- 22:07Speaker 2: up in her dad's pickup truck. But Warner Brothers, I'm
- 22:10Speaker 2: gonna get picked up by her mom. Her mom. We're
- 22:14Speaker 2: gonna take her mom's Rolls Royce like what okay? But
- 22:21Speaker 2: maybe maybe not. I don't know. I don't rolls Royce
- 22:22Speaker 2: is not really I don't know. It's kind of short
- 22:24Speaker 2: for me. I don't know. Maybe we go with the
- 22:25Speaker 2: pickup truck. I mean, if you're doing something better. I mean,
- 22:28Speaker 2: you just get three billion dollars, maybe you can get
- 22:30Speaker 2: a Rolls Royce. We'll see what happens. My opinion, I
- 22:34Speaker 2: think it's gonna go through unfore I or how I
- 22:39Speaker 2: put it, I think it is going through. But that
- 22:40Speaker 2: comment that of allegedly the CEO may makes you go
- 22:43Speaker 2: maybe it doesn't. I don't know. At the end of
- 22:46Speaker 2: the day, this is just the way it's headache. There's
- 22:51Speaker 2: articles now and like stories out there now like not
- 22:56Speaker 2: like concrete, like legit, this is happening. But it's called
- 23:00Speaker 2: uh I wrote it down. You should write stuff down
- 23:03Speaker 2: and makes it. It's really good for you to help
- 23:05Speaker 2: you remember stuff you just gotta you don't remember where
- 23:07Speaker 2: the fuck you put it. Essentially, it's called like the
- 23:12Speaker 2: Hollywood end game theory. We're essentially Hollywood's too big, right,
- 23:17Speaker 2: They're not even too big. Hollywood can't afford all these studios.
- 23:21Speaker 2: There's all these there's all these reports and articles about
- 23:23Speaker 2: like how no one makes films and holly in California.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Well because a lot is because they don't get all
- 23:27Speaker 2: these tax breaks, which will get to tax break stuff
- 23:30Speaker 2: here in a second, and a lot of them are
- 23:32Speaker 2: leaving or they're getting they're being sold, and the endgame
- 23:37Speaker 2: theory essentially is that it's gonna end up just being Disney, uh, Paramount,
- 23:41Speaker 2: Warner Brothers. And even if and even if it doesn't happen,
- 23:45Speaker 2: they're still saying Paramount probably will say because they have
- 23:47Speaker 2: a lot of money behind them, Netflix and then the
- 23:52Speaker 2: other and while it is for but like they're saying
- 23:54Speaker 2: that ones made because of the streaming, it'd be Apple
- 23:57Speaker 2: and Amazon. I mean Amazon owns MGM, which is an
- 24:00Speaker 2: insane library. And Apple TV. I mean like they're just
- 24:05Speaker 2: they're being smart. They're playing the slow and steady game,
- 24:07Speaker 2: but they know the regardless people are gonna watch their
- 24:09Speaker 2: program because all this stuf's gonna be just Ted Lasso.
- 24:12Speaker 2: I only say aything else about Apple TV shrinking Monarch,
- 24:19Speaker 2: I can go on. So yeah, And do I think
- 24:25Speaker 2: Warner Brothers stays with Paramount, as I said a couple
- 24:30Speaker 2: of school I do. But those whole thing about junk
- 24:32Speaker 2: bonds and like they don't know where all this money
- 24:35Speaker 2: is coming from, and people are saying more and more
- 24:36Speaker 2: they don't know how this sales are gonna get done.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I think what they end up happening is Paramount is
- 24:40Speaker 2: gonna keep Warner Brothers in HBO, and they're gonna find
- 24:44Speaker 2: a way to essentially back end Warner Brothers to sell
- 24:48Speaker 2: the other assets of their places. That's just my opinion,
- 24:53Speaker 2: because you don't need two new studios. Why not that
- 24:58Speaker 2: apparently Scene is doing really well rating like they said,
- 25:00Speaker 2: like the best brains to add a five year brother
- 25:03Speaker 2: Pale and CBS and CBS. I don't know. I just
- 25:09Speaker 2: work here, so yeah, yeah, in my opinion, that's what happens.
- 25:12Speaker 2: And then maybe someone swoops in and gets them. But
- 25:14Speaker 2: like the problem is is like we have monopoly lost
- 25:18Speaker 2: for raising. It's a certain like all right, click, like
- 25:21Speaker 2: you're here, you make fun of me, But I'm gonna
- 25:23Speaker 2: say it. What I love for the mouse to get them? Yes, why,
- 25:27Speaker 2: I think they have to do a really good job
- 25:29Speaker 2: with I put this new content is one thing. I
- 25:36Speaker 2: think they do a good job of promoting and publishing
- 25:39Speaker 2: and like producing old content and not that Wonder Brothers
- 25:43Speaker 2: doesn't they actually do. They actually are one of like
- 25:46Speaker 2: the last pick studios that is really close to still
- 25:49Speaker 2: sticking with the whole physical media stuff. You know that's
- 25:52Speaker 2: going away because everything's going to streaming. But I just
- 25:56Speaker 2: think it would be good for it because Disney is
- 25:58Speaker 2: a good track record of like when I put this,
- 26:02Speaker 2: a lot of studios will give up on they're big
- 26:07Speaker 2: or what they think are there big for ips intellectual properties.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Disney is like, we're gonna They're gonna keep We're gonna
- 26:15Speaker 2: keep trying. He's what with Star Wars case in point,
- 26:19Speaker 2: like not saying trons of failure, but like the last
- 26:20Speaker 2: trimeal we did not make anyhere near what they thought
- 26:22Speaker 2: it was gonna make. It's one point five billion dollars,
- 26:24Speaker 2: but it's like they're like, well, are we gonna make
- 26:25Speaker 2: another one? I don't know, but it's like cheesus. But
- 26:31Speaker 2: then you have one of us, a Star Trek, and
- 26:34Speaker 2: they're probably gonna remoove like the fifth time. You have
- 26:39Speaker 2: other ones where it's like, well, it's just sitting there.
- 26:43Speaker 2: And the problem is, like we live in the eighth
- 26:45Speaker 2: Intellectual property is like, if it's good, if it's halfway decent,
- 26:48Speaker 2: it can make you all the money in the world,
- 26:49Speaker 2: which that should that should not be the way it is,
- 26:50Speaker 2: but that's just how it is. We have Paraunt has
- 26:52Speaker 2: a mission impossible, Like there's one top gun Good exactly.
- 26:56Speaker 2: They have Tom Cruise. That's air in actual property, they
- 26:59Speaker 2: have Tom Cruise. So I don't I don't know. I
- 27:05Speaker 2: I hope it goes back to Netflix only because of
- 27:08Speaker 2: like when they said like, hey, we're not gonna do
- 27:09Speaker 2: anything or let them be them run their ship. We're
- 27:12Speaker 2: actually going to corporate their business resources said now go
- 27:15Speaker 2: into movie theater business and just move on from there,
- 27:17Speaker 2: which file accounts. Even Netflix is still saying like, yeah,
- 27:19Speaker 2: actually we are going to do that now, which is
- 27:21Speaker 2: what people in saying she would do for years. But
- 27:24Speaker 2: they're not in the moo theater business. They're in the
- 27:26Speaker 2: streaming business. And then they bought a company that could
- 27:31Speaker 2: help them get into the movie theater business. So we'll
- 27:36Speaker 2: see what happens there. Another thing, not the funny thing
- 27:40Speaker 2: money thing, we'll talk about the uh Hammond I'm mean, sorry,
- 27:45Speaker 2: Chicago Bears. You if you're not a Bears fan, I'll
- 27:51Speaker 2: give you the quick scope the Bears got approve essentially
- 27:54Speaker 2: go to Indiana right on right on the border of
- 27:57Speaker 2: Indiana and Chicago. It's literally, really I think it's like
- 28:01Speaker 2: what twenty miles from the stadium south right off the
- 28:04Speaker 2: lake front. Haim in Indiana simply because Indiana is like,
- 28:09Speaker 2: we can make a lot of fucking money having us
- 28:12Speaker 2: not just a second of what save Indiana, but having
- 28:15Speaker 2: a team that is one of the cornerstone frames or
- 28:18Speaker 2: one of the old I'm not gonna say, I mean,
- 28:19Speaker 2: I love my Bears, but they're at cornerstont right now.
- 28:22Speaker 2: They are. They're one of the original building blocks, but
- 28:24Speaker 2: not cornert right now because they've have done anything in
- 28:25Speaker 2: twenty years. Well take that back forty fuck forty years.
- 28:33Speaker 2: So they apparently they already passed bills, they already have
- 28:37Speaker 2: a committee for like you know, to like start getting
- 28:40Speaker 2: self approved. They're pretty much just playing the Bears and
- 28:43Speaker 2: typical just because they're wearing the state of the Bear's
- 28:45Speaker 2: way in the state of Illinois. They go, all right,
- 28:48Speaker 2: indian is ready to do this. Are you guys ready
- 28:50Speaker 2: to give us what we want? Essentially, what the beer?
- 28:51Speaker 2: What do the Bears want? They want tax breaks, they
- 28:54Speaker 2: want some funding, but they made it clear they didn't
- 28:58Speaker 2: want any public funding. But it's like this with any stadium.
- 29:02Speaker 2: It's like, okay, you don't you're saying you don't want
- 29:04Speaker 2: public funding, you don't want the taxpayers to pay for it.
- 29:08Speaker 2: But yet you want tax breaks, you want this, you
- 29:10Speaker 2: want that. Who's gonna pay for it? As oscars crying,
- 29:16Speaker 2: We're gonna pay for it, dudes, So they want they
- 29:20Speaker 2: want taxpayers to help. My quick thoughts on it. It's
- 29:27Speaker 2: gonna happen. I mean, I think the Bears are gonna
- 29:30Speaker 2: stay in Illinois. Why. A couple of years ago they
- 29:33Speaker 2: bought the mccaskey's, owners of the Bears, bought a horse
- 29:36Speaker 2: track in Arlington Heights. I think it's around three hundred
- 29:41Speaker 2: eight is it three hundred acres? That might be wrong,
- 29:44Speaker 2: I'm reading off though it's I found online. The internet
- 29:47Speaker 2: says three hundred acres. That's a lot. Could be bull crap. Anyway,
- 29:52Speaker 2: they bought a lot of land, They bought a horse track,
- 29:55Speaker 2: they knocked it down, and they all owed this land.
- 29:58Speaker 2: And they want to put a stadium there. They want
- 30:00Speaker 2: to put hotels and restaurants. They sentially want to do
- 30:03Speaker 2: what every major sports franchise is doing. You're it's no
- 30:07Speaker 2: longer just it's no longer the stadium. The stadium is
- 30:11Speaker 2: not the only thing people are there for. The stadium
- 30:13Speaker 2: is a center point, but outside the seam, you're gonna
- 30:15Speaker 2: have all these businesses. If you're from the Midwest, take
- 30:17Speaker 2: a case in point, look at Wrigleyville, case in point,
- 30:19Speaker 2: look at Buckstown in Milwaukee by the Pfizer form. It's
- 30:24Speaker 2: crazy to and I hate this sound like an old guy,
- 30:27Speaker 2: but it's crazy to see like all that, like what
- 30:28Speaker 2: that area used to be to what it is now.
- 30:31Speaker 2: And it's not like it was, oh my god, so
- 30:33Speaker 2: long ago there was nothing here. It's like, no, it
- 30:35Speaker 2: felt like last week there was like nothing here. Right
- 30:37Speaker 2: now there's like, oh, there's a new arena. There's restaurants, hotels,
- 30:41Speaker 2: parking lots, all this shit. And I was like quick
- 30:44Speaker 2: that fast. It's like, oh, okay, I guess we're doing this.
- 30:48Speaker 2: It's gonna happen because it's if it's in Lands and Heights,
- 30:54Speaker 2: you're gonna have all these hotels, restaurants, bars, stores, merchandise.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Chicago bears a flamethrower. You're gonna have all this ship
- 31:04Speaker 2: and with that, then you're gonna have a new dome
- 31:06Speaker 2: stadium in the Chicago Land area that can host things
- 31:09Speaker 2: like the Super Bowl, WrestleMania, Taylor Swift anytime they're a near.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Because that's a problem with Soldier Field I like Soldier Field.
- 31:17Speaker 2: I do. And I'm gonna say this and I said
- 31:21Speaker 2: I think I said once or twice in the podcast before.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Do I want the Bears to leave Chicago? No? Do
- 31:28Speaker 2: I want the Bears to have a dome? No? I
- 31:32Speaker 2: want bear weather football games. If you're bear fing know
- 31:35Speaker 2: what that means. Unfortunately, that's just not feasible anymore. Every
- 31:42Speaker 2: single team that's doing the new stadiums, they're building a
- 31:44Speaker 2: dome because for players safe, not just player safety, but
- 31:48Speaker 2: fan safety and fan uh just overall. What's the word happiness.
- 31:56Speaker 2: That's not the right, That's something exact what I'm thinking about.
- 31:58Speaker 2: I mean. And you can argue, we'll buffal a new
- 32:00Speaker 2: stadium without a roof. Yeah, that's Buffalo. I'm sorry, what
- 32:04Speaker 2: else is there to do in Buffalo? People in Buffaloes
- 32:06Speaker 2: are the same thing. I went to a school for
- 32:07Speaker 2: a guy in Buffalo, and he's like, yeah, other than
- 32:09Speaker 2: the other than you know, the Bills and the Sabers
- 32:12Speaker 2: were just like, let's go chill out. I guess, like,
- 32:14Speaker 2: what else were we gonna do? Or let's go to
- 32:15Speaker 2: New York but with a new stadium, or and here's
- 32:23Speaker 2: my biggest point, before you get to like the before
- 32:26Speaker 2: you get to like the stadium thing. If you've never
- 32:30Speaker 2: been to a game in Soldier Field, please don't talk
- 32:35Speaker 2: about this. Not that you can't voice your opinion. People't
- 32:38Speaker 2: talk about the why I have been too. What has
- 32:44Speaker 2: been renowned is the last, at least in my lifetime,
- 32:48Speaker 2: worst stadium in football, that being the Washington Commander Stadium.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Wasn't the Was it the most advanced stadium? No? Was
- 32:58Speaker 2: it the most comfortable? No? But I can tell you
- 33:02Speaker 2: this right now, it was easy as hell getting in
- 33:07Speaker 2: and out of that sum bitch. Soldier Field sucks. It
- 33:13Speaker 2: is awful to park at. Any person who has ever
- 33:17Speaker 2: played there will say that. Any person who's ever covered
- 33:19Speaker 2: a game there will say that. Any person who has
- 33:21Speaker 2: ever gone there will say that it is not fun
- 33:27Speaker 2: getting in and out of that area after a football
- 33:30Speaker 2: game concert. I don't care. It sucks, And again you
- 33:39Speaker 2: can make all the points you want. It's is the
- 33:41Speaker 2: last thing I wanna say about this. Well, they leave
- 33:45Speaker 2: the Chicago the bear should be in Chicago. Do you
- 33:49Speaker 2: have any idea? I know there's an old argument now,
- 33:51Speaker 2: but how many teams are not actually the city they
- 33:53Speaker 2: play in. Let's see new York Giants and Jets don't
- 33:58Speaker 2: even play in the state of New York. San Francisco
- 34:00Speaker 2: forty hours doing playing San Francisco. They play an hour
- 34:03Speaker 2: away Dallas. I don even playing. I'm not gonna say it.
- 34:07Speaker 2: They want playing Dallas. I'm not gonna say where they play.
- 34:09Speaker 2: It's not Dallas, Texas. Do I need to say more?
- 34:13Speaker 1: Oh?
- 34:13Speaker 2: Yeah? Make you going? Okay? Great? Where does the Patriots play?
- 34:17Speaker 2: Fucks bro? No, they they wait in New England. It's
- 34:22Speaker 2: all a bunch of crap. It's like who, as Peter
- 34:26Speaker 2: Griffin one said, Oh my god, who the hell cares?
- 34:30Speaker 2: They can move the Indiana. They can move to Orleans
- 34:32Speaker 2: and Heights. They're still gonna call themself the Chicago Bears.
- 34:36Speaker 2: If anything, them being in Orlington Heights, it's out of Chicago.
- 34:39Speaker 2: It will make more sense than the foreigners call themselves
- 34:42Speaker 2: San Francisco. Four nurs when they when they play in
- 34:44Speaker 2: Santa Clara, they got San fran But just the way
- 34:49Speaker 2: it is on that note, Jesus Christ, the end, it's again.
- 34:57Speaker 2: It's same with the Warner Brothers in Paramount Thanks with
- 34:59Speaker 2: Warner Bros. And Netflix and the Bears. It's all about
- 35:01Speaker 2: the money. It's a lot. It's all about them, It's
- 35:05Speaker 2: all about it's all anyone cares about. Not that you should,
- 35:09Speaker 2: that's the only thing you care about. But when it
- 35:10Speaker 2: comes to these shareholders, business people, suits, et cetera, it's
- 35:13Speaker 2: all they care about because at the end, they're all
- 35:15Speaker 2: trying to make that mighty dollars they can live comfortably,
- 35:17Speaker 2: not to do anything else, same with the rest of
- 35:20Speaker 2: their family generations. Just the way it is doesn't suck. Yeah,
- 35:26Speaker 2: but born a long time, born in the wrong timeline,
- 35:31Speaker 2: I guess I like this timeline could be better. Yeah,
- 35:35Speaker 2: of course, so I'm working at it. I know. I
- 35:40Speaker 2: don't think the Bears do go to Indiana. I think
- 35:44Speaker 2: they stay in Arlington Heights again. They own the land.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Sure they can sell the land and make some money
- 35:49Speaker 2: off it, but like I think they want to see
- 35:53Speaker 2: this scene through. Fortunately Reginia McCaskey they pass away this
- 35:56Speaker 2: last year, and I can see George being like I
- 36:01Speaker 2: guess I can see for him, he's probably thinking like
- 36:03Speaker 2: this is like my other than like getting super Bowls,
- 36:05Speaker 2: which hopefully they get soon. Like he wants to be
- 36:07Speaker 2: like I say, He's like, hey, I built this State
- 36:09Speaker 2: of the Arts stadium that you know, Chicago fans have
- 36:13Speaker 2: been clamoring for. And in's the thing, the interesting they'll
- 36:16Speaker 2: be happy to see is Okay, let's see, let's they
- 36:17Speaker 2: leave Soldier Field where hapens that? Because again spoiler, they
- 36:20Speaker 2: don't own Soldier Field. Parks of the place the park
- 36:23Speaker 2: district owns. It can be started on that ship they
- 36:26Speaker 2: own it. So I was a Soldier Field. Northwestern's opening
- 36:29Speaker 2: a new stadium and that's supposed to be one of
- 36:32Speaker 2: the by all accounts with the most advanced modern stadium
- 36:36Speaker 2: right now in the United States for a college now
- 36:38Speaker 2: and then just for a college, but at a college. Okay,
- 36:40Speaker 2: what's that gonna entail? And Alway's gonna be not that
- 36:43Speaker 2: far from me, which will be really nice. So it's
- 36:46Speaker 2: it's gonna be interesting. But yeah, it's like I said,
- 36:51Speaker 2: like this will help Chicago the area rather get Super Bowls,
- 36:58Speaker 2: WrestleMania's final four, worst concerts all year round, not that
- 37:02Speaker 2: Chicago doesn't get that, but they don't get those capacity. Now,
- 37:05Speaker 2: does it tucking to be out of the Chicago that's
- 37:06Speaker 2: gonna essentially help affect those businesses? Yes, but then again,
- 37:09Speaker 2: the city of Chicago wants it that bad they know
- 37:11Speaker 2: they have. It's like this thing some of my dad
- 37:17Speaker 2: tell me a lot of time ago, and you probably
- 37:19Speaker 2: heard this too. Doesn't matter when you're buying a car,
- 37:25Speaker 2: does it matter what deal you got. Both of you got.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Both of you got screwed in some way. You don't
- 37:33Speaker 2: know it. If you're the person buying it or the salesperson.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Both of you got screwed. You both don't know it
- 37:39Speaker 2: what it is. But you both still all got screwed
- 37:41Speaker 2: because you don't get exactly what you want. Because no
- 37:43Speaker 2: one gets exactly what they want. It's not everyone got.
- 37:45Speaker 2: If everyone got what they want, then life wouldn't exist
- 37:47Speaker 2: as we know it. It wouldn't. That's why you hear
- 37:50Speaker 2: about these business you have to compromise, saying with the
- 37:52Speaker 2: Warner Brother's Paramount thing all of a time, Oh yeah, no,
- 37:55Speaker 2: we're not gonna no, we're with Netflix. And then Paramount's like,
- 37:58Speaker 2: well offer this, Okay, you know what we're gonna hear
- 38:01Speaker 2: you out. You offer the driver us to Prime and
- 38:03Speaker 2: the rolls in your mom's rolls Royce, We're gonna hear
- 38:07Speaker 2: you out. Okay, Yeah, we're gonna go with the rolls Royce.
- 38:11Speaker 2: Now Netflix, if you really want to take us to
- 38:13Speaker 2: the prom call me in like ten months, but not
- 38:19Speaker 2: in that pickup truck. Call me or not not in
- 38:22Speaker 2: that cyber truck. Call me like ten months. See what
- 38:25Speaker 2: you got. You want to bring that ev Volkswagen. You
- 38:28Speaker 2: want to bring that Lambeau. We'll talk that. It's all
- 38:32Speaker 2: about the money, all it's ever about and it sucks.
- 38:34Speaker 2: But like, hey, you know what's the old blue eyes
- 38:39Speaker 2: once said, that's life. On that note, I'm gonna get
- 38:42Speaker 2: here now. It's late. Those podcasts a lot, a little
- 38:46Speaker 2: bit la this week. Didn't miss a week, did not

- 39:21Speaker 2: the stuff is I'm really intrigued by it? Part of it, Yeah,
- 39:25Speaker 2: it's part because part of it is I'm one enamored
- 39:28Speaker 2: with the sports team. Yes, and that happens because I'm
- 39:30Speaker 2: trying to get into that line of work, yes, undred percent.
- 39:33Speaker 2: But it's also like it's just stuff I'm really intrigued by,
- 39:35Speaker 2: and I talk about suff'm intu intrigued by in the podcast.
- 39:37Speaker 2: I even talk about stuff I'm not in tregued by
- 39:39Speaker 2: when one of people doesn't want to discuss it. But
- 39:41Speaker 2: I'm like, hey, I as long I'm not getting political
- 39:43Speaker 2: and all that shit, I don't care. And yes, you
- 39:45Speaker 2: can come on this podcast and talk politics. Some people
- 39:47Speaker 2: have and if you don't know, it's is gone. Uh
- 39:49Speaker 2: huh uh huh cool. AnyWho tell me about tell me
- 39:53Speaker 2: what you're drinking. Like I I'm not saying I can't
- 40:00Speaker 2: have a voice to like change stuff, but it's like,
- 40:02Speaker 2: you know what, like, unless you're in that office, what
- 40:06Speaker 2: do you what are we gonna do? You know, you
- 40:10Speaker 2: gotta you want to you want to change things. You
- 40:12Speaker 2: speak with your with your with the part you have
- 40:13Speaker 2: the vote, go to uh town halls, go to committees
- 40:18Speaker 2: and all that stuff. Speak your voice there and this
- 40:21Speaker 2: podcast like to have fun because I'm sorry. Politics it
- 40:25Speaker 2: bore me because at the end of the day, we're
- 40:27Speaker 2: all just trying to screw you. I don't care what
