- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:02Epstein Chronicles. You know the funny thing about Jeffrey Epstein's rolodex.
- 0:07It reads like the guest list from Hell's Cocktail Hour.
- 0:10President princes, billionaires, tech moguls, Hollywood types, all clinking glasses
- 0:16while the rest of us try to pretend we aren't gagging.
- 0:19But nestled in that little black book of shame is
- 0:22the name that Washington would rather you forget. George Mitchell.
- 0:26That's right, the same George Mitchell the history books paint
- 0:28as a statesman, the calm hand who brought peace to
- 0:31Northern Ireland, the democratic lion who sat a top of
- 0:35the Senate with a gavel in one hand and gravitas
- 0:38in the other. And yet somehow this paragon of virtue
- 0:42found himself swimming in the same cesspool as Jeffrey Epstein.
- 0:46Now you'd think a revelation like that would be front
- 0:49page news for weeks. Survivor of Virginia Roberts under oath
- 0:53named Mitchell as one of the men that she was
- 0:55trafficked to by Jeffrey Epstein. Let me repeat that the
- 0:59former Senate Majority leader was accused in soweign testimony of
- 1:03participating in one of the darkest scandals of our time.
- 1:06If his name had been McConnell, Grammar, Cruz, you'd still
- 1:10be hearing the outrage machine humming about it every night.
- 1:13But because it was Mitchell, one of the establishment's golden boys,
- 1:16his alledged ties got the velvet rope treatment. Luau came out,
- 1:19the broom got busy, and the story was buried so
- 1:22deep and might as well have been tossed into Epstein's
- 1:25cell alongside the security footage. Mitchell did what every politician
- 1:29does when the smell of scandal comes wafting his way,
- 1:32issued a stiff denial, put on the am shocked and
- 1:36offended face, and counted on his friends in the press
- 1:39to cover for him. And they did. The headlines were fleeting,
- 1:42the commentary cautious, and before long, Mitchell's name was scrub
- 1:46clean of any Epstein residue magic. The same people who
- 1:51screech endlessly about protecting survivors suddenly decided this one didn't
- 1:56deserve their megaphone. This is where the hypocrisy gets delicious.
- 2:00The cable news warriors who flumb at the mouth when
- 2:03Epstein is tied to Trump or Prince Andrew suddenly turned
- 2:06into monks, practicing vows of silence when the name George
- 2:09Mitchell comes up. The late night comics who mine Epstein
- 2:13for punchlines didn't dare touch this one. Why because Mitchell
- 2:17wasn't just any name. He was one of their names,
- 2:20one of the good guys. And then the bizarre morality
- 2:23play that passes for modern politics that was enough to
- 2:27make the allegations disappear. And the result most Americans don't
- 2:31even know Mitchell's name ever came up in the Epstein case.
- 2:35They're too busy being spoon fed partisan outrage about the
- 2:38other team, while survivor testimonies about Mitchell gets swept into
- 2:42the void, and those very survivors, they're once again left
- 2:46in the role of pawns, useful when their words can
- 2:48be weaponized, disposable when they threaten the wrong person. Let's
- 2:52talk about George Mitchell and the little oversight that polite
- 2:55society and partisan screamers alike have decided is better left
- 3:00in the attic collecting dust alongside every other uncomfortable Epstein tie. Mitchell, Yes,
- 3:06the same former Senate Majority leader, peace broker in Northern Ireland,
- 3:10and Democratic Statesman was named by Virginia Roberts as one
- 3:14of the men Jeffrey Epstein trafficker two. That allegation Tucton's
- 3:18sworn testimony should have detonated like a political nuke. Instead,
- 3:22it was quietly smothered under layers of legal jargon, media silence,
- 3:27and bipartisan disinterest. It's remarkable how someone whose name echoes
- 3:31in American politics for decades can just tiptoe out of
- 3:35the Epstein narrative because the wrong people would be embarrassed
- 3:38if it stuck. Now. Mitchell himself issued the predictable denial,
- 3:42painting himself as horrified and insulted that anyone could suggest
- 3:46such a thing. But let's be real, when a survivor
- 3:49mentions your name under oath in connection with Jeffrey Epstein,
- 3:53the standard pr boiler plate doesn't wash away the stench.
- 3:56Yet somehow it was enough, the media shrugged, political class
- 4:00clammed up, and the whole thing slid beneath the waves.
- 4:04If it were a member of the other team, the
- 4:06outrage chorus would still be howling. But because Mitchell was
- 4:09part of the right club, part of the establishments in
- 4:12her circle, the scandal was reduced to a passing headline
- 4:16and then filed away like it never happened. You see,
- 4:19Mitchell wasn't some nobody. He was a democratic lion, a
- 4:22figure trusted with delicate negotiations and feted on the global stage.
- 4:27That makes his name popping up in the Epstein orbit
- 4:30more than just gossip. It should have sparked inquiries, investigations,
- 4:34at a minimum, a deep dive in every newsroom. Instead,
- 4:38it got the treatment reserved for uncomfortable truths. It was minimized, qualified,
- 4:43and ultimately erased from the official version of the Epstein saga.
- 4:47The select of amnesia was not accidental. That shit was strategic.
- 4:53And look, the hypocrisy is staggering. The same talking heads
- 4:56who FuMB at the mouth about Epstein's ties to Trump
- 4:59or scream endless about Prince Andrew suddenly grows shy when
- 5:03George Mitchell's name surfaces. The same media outlets that dedicate
- 5:07hours of programming to sexual predators when it's politically convenient
- 5:12barely cough out a few lines when one of their
- 5:14own is implicated. And let's be clear, Mitchell's relationship with
- 5:18Epstein wasn't limited to one stray allegation. He admitted knowing Epstein,
- 5:23even visiting his townhouse in New York. He framed it
- 5:26as nothing more than social courtesies, as if Epstein's home
- 5:30was another polite salon on the Upper East Side. That
- 5:34detail alone should have been caused for more scrutiny. Why
- 5:37was a former Senate majority leader and diplomatic heavyweight hobnobbing
- 5:41with a registered sex offender. The question evaporated the moment
- 5:44it was asked, because the answers were too inconvenient for
- 5:47the people who decide what deserves their time. The sweeping
- 5:51under the rug is the story here. It's not even
- 5:53whether Mitchell did or didn't commit the crimes he was
- 5:56accused of. That shit should be investigated fully. The story
- 6:00whe he is how little anyone cared to pursue it.
- 6:02The survivor's voices were ignored when they implicated powerful democrats,
- 6:06but weaponized if it could be used against their enemies.
- 6:10And of course what that is is cynical cherry picking,
- 6:13and it proves that for the establishment, survivors are pawns,
- 6:16not people. And Mitchell's denials were parroted without challenge, while
- 6:20survivor's s warn testimony was buried under endless no corroboration caveats.
- 6:26Contrasts that with how other accused figures were covered hours
- 6:30of breathless speculation, documentaries, entire careers ruined by association. Mitchell
- 6:35got the velvet love treatment, a polite dismissal, and the
- 6:38corporate media moved right along. That's the real scandal. A
- 6:42survivor can name one of the most powerful men in
- 6:45American politics, and the establishment closes ranks to protect them
- 6:49and the public most don't even know Mitchell's name was
- 6:52even linked to Epstein because the story never got the
- 6:54oxygen it needed. Instead, the narrative was sculpted to focus
- 6:58only on the villains convenient to target. The outrage machine
- 7:02doesn't run on justice, it runs on partisan usefulness. Mitchell
- 7:06wasn't useful as a villain, so his role was erased.
- 7:09That's how power protects itself by deciding which monsters are
- 7:13worth exposing and which must be quietly shielded. What's worse
- 7:18is how this erasure let partisans weaponize Epstein selectively look
- 7:21at their guy, they scream, while conveniently forgetting the skeletons
- 7:25in their own closets. The Epstein scandal is bipartisan, transnational institutional.
- 7:32But the game is to pretend it's the exclusive shame
- 7:35of the other team. Mitchell is proof of how hollow
- 7:38those games are. If you can't say his name with
- 7:41the same venom you spit at Trump or Prince Andrew,
- 7:44you're not fighting for survivors. You're doing pr for your side. Now.
- 7:48Survivors like my friend Virginia were already ridiculed and smeared
- 7:53when she named Mitchell. The silence from mainstream outlets added
- 7:57insult to injury. Here was a young woman risking everything
- 8:01to tell her story, only to watch the establishment memory
- 8:05hold her testimony because it implicated someone to important a challenge.
- 8:09That's the real betrayal. Survivors weren't just ignored, they were
- 8:13used selectively, only amplified when their words serve the right agenda.
- 8:18And Mitchell's case also reveals the media's cowardice. They love
- 8:21the drama of Epstein, palaces, princes, billionaires, but only when
- 8:25they can keep that list tidy. Too many reporters know
- 8:29that investigating someone like Mitchell could meet burning bridges with
- 8:32the very establishment figures who feed them access, so they
- 8:35look the other way, pretending that the story isn't there.
- 8:39The truth is, if you're waiting for CNN or The
- 8:42New York Times to dig into George Mitchell's Epstein ties,
- 8:45you'll be waiting forever. And what does that mean for history?
- 8:49It means the official record of Epstein's network is already
- 8:52being edited, sanitized, and controlled. Mitchell's name, like others inconvenient
- 8:57to the preferred narrative, will fade from public consciousness. Survivors
- 9:02will be dismissed as unreliable, and future generations will be
- 9:05told a cleaner, more convenient version of the scandal, because
- 9:09that's how the powerful rewrite their sins, not by disproving them,
- 9:13but by smothering them in silence until they're forgotten. And
- 9:18of course, Mitchell's defenders will always fall back on no evidence.
- 9:21But evidence does it magically appear when no one investigates.
- 9:25Evidence is found by looking, and no one wanted to
- 9:28look too closely at Mitchell. Virginia's testimony was enough to
- 9:32ruin others reputations, but somehow not his. The double standard
- 9:36screams louder than any denial he could ever issue, and
- 9:39so George Mitchell becomes one more ghost in the Epstein saga.
- 9:43Known to some, forgotten by most, protected by the very
- 9:46people who now screech about justice and accountability. It's the
- 9:50height of hypocrisy, and it shows just how unseerious the
- 9:53establishment is about actually exposing Epstein's network. They don't want
- 9:57the truth, they want a curated version of it. Survivors
- 10:01deserve better than this. They deserve to have every name
- 10:03they spoke examined with the same seriousness, regardless of party
- 10:07or prestige. Instead, Mitchell was treated like untouchable royalty, shielded
- 10:12from real scrutiny. That's the system. Survivors have always been
- 10:16up against, a system where power outweighs the truth. And
- 10:20while Mitchell fades from the Epstein conversation, the same people
- 10:23who erase them have the gall to act sanctimonious about
- 10:26other abusers, although weaponize the scandal for partisan points while
- 10:30hoping no one remembers the names that make them squirm.
- 10:34Survivors don't need theater. They need the whole truth, even
- 10:37when it burns both sides. The real tragedy is that
- 10:41Epstein's story should have been the moment of reckoning for
- 10:44all power left and right, but it wasn't. It was
- 10:47carved into a weapon for whichever side needed it, and
- 10:50men like George Mitchell were scrubbed out because they complicated
- 10:53the narrative. In that sense, the cover up is by partisan,
- 10:57the hypocrisy is bipartisan, and the betrayal of survivors is universal.
- 11:04George Mitchell's name should be remembered in this scandal not
- 11:06as a footnote, but as a symbol of how deep
- 11:09this motherfucking rot goes. The fact that it isn't tells
- 11:13you everything you need to know. The rug is thick,
- 11:15the broom is busy, and the screaming about the other
- 11:18team is nothing more than a distraction, while the real
- 11:21story Epstein's full bipartisan network of enablers remains hidden in
- 11:26plain sight. All of the information that goes with this
- 11:29episode can be found in the description box.
