Eat, drink, and be merry—in Christ

John 6:54-55, He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. Every day, we abide in Jesus so we can live with Him. The only way we can abide in Jesus is through His finished work on the cross, where He gave His flesh as a sacrifice for our sins. Without the shedding of blood, there’s no forgiveness of sins (Heb. 9:22). Without forgiveness of sins, there’s no way we can have access to God or have fellowship with Him.
