- 0:26Speaker 1: It is time leave your worries outside and laugh with
- 0:30Speaker 1: us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan, O'Malley, along with Raj
- 0:34Speaker 1: Sharma and Trey Trindholm almost get right over you, Stray,
- 0:40Speaker 1: my bad die. My brain, along with my Internet, is
- 0:45Speaker 1: doing funny things today. So let's hope that that hysterical
- 0:49Speaker 1: nature crosses over into the big Monday show today inside
- 0:52Speaker 1: the Treehouse. So let's start at the center of funny
- 1:00Speaker 1: in the United States. That, of course, is the magnificent
- 1:03Speaker 1: state of Florida. She just keeps on giving. You know,
- 1:14Speaker 1: a Florida woman vandalized the wrong car trying to get
- 1:18Speaker 1: revenge on her ex boyfriend. Well done, Florida, Thank you
- 1:27Speaker 1: very much. It really does track you. An eighteen year
- 1:34Speaker 1: old Florida woman wanting to get back at her ex
- 1:37Speaker 1: boyfriend is now facing charges after she accidentally vandalized the
- 1:42Speaker 1: wrong car. Not accidentally vandalized a car, just accidentally vandalized
- 1:50Speaker 1: the wrong car. I think the people here at Action
- 1:54Speaker 1: News five need to go back to not necessarily journalism school,
- 1:58Speaker 1: but grammar school, because what they should have said is
- 2:01Speaker 1: that she's now facing charges after she vandalized the wrong
- 2:05Speaker 1: car accidentally, not after she accidentally vandalized the wrong car.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Words matter, people, Punctuation matters, and where you put the
- 2:17Speaker 1: adverb matters.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Dan.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Remember their target audience is Florida.
- 2:26Speaker 1: You know what, Sometimes you have to raise the level
- 2:33Speaker 1: around you by raising your own. Having a little bit
- 2:37Speaker 1: within reason, a little bit higher expectations of others and
- 2:41Speaker 1: just kind of gently pull them along is not a
- 2:46Speaker 1: bad idea. It's a valiant effort. You may fail, and
- 2:50Speaker 1: in Florida, the odds of you failing are extremely high.
- 2:53Speaker 1: You may go face down right into the everglades, into
- 2:56Speaker 1: the gaping maw of a python. But by God, you
- 3:00Speaker 1: will have tried.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Well.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Remember it's not that the ceiling's low, but it's that
- 3:09Speaker 3: the ground is low. The floor is low. There it's
- 3:11Speaker 3: a swamp.
- 3:14Speaker 1: The humidity really keeps you down and just presses you
- 3:17Speaker 1: straight into the swamps. Oh Jesus Christ, people, anyway, that's
- 3:24Speaker 1: according to Valujah County Sheriff's deputies. Sheriff's deputies responded to
- 3:28Speaker 1: a call last Tuesday night for someone spray painting a vehicle.
- 3:32Speaker 1: The young woman admitted to deputies that it was a
- 3:35Speaker 1: revenge plan against her ex boyfriend. She was upset when
- 3:39Speaker 1: she hatched a plan to throw eggs at his car
- 3:42Speaker 1: and spray painted. However, the vehicle that was vandalized belonged
- 3:49Speaker 1: to a neighbor, not the ex boyfriend. This woman now
- 3:54Speaker 1: faces criminal charges related to mischief and alcohol because no
- 4:00Speaker 1: good deed is done sober. I'm trying to piece together
- 4:09Speaker 1: here the type of vehicle, and it looks like a
- 4:16Speaker 1: sporty looking Infinity Sedan older model. Yeah, I think that's
- 4:28Speaker 1: an Infinity emblem on the front of the vehicle there.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I'm not one hundred percent, but I think that I
- 4:35Speaker 1: think that's what that is. Let me show you the
- 4:41Speaker 1: vehicle in question here so you can get an idea
- 4:44Speaker 1: of the very hard work the young woman put into
- 4:47Speaker 1: trying to get revenge on her boyfriend by vandalizing the
- 4:52Speaker 1: car in question. I mean, it's a black roadster with
- 5:00Speaker 1: a couple of smiley faces on the hood, his name
- 5:04Speaker 1: spray painted and yellow Jason. Also the word devil on
- 5:08Speaker 1: the driver's side door, something across the windshield that says
- 5:14Speaker 1: not and then I don't know if that's MPB smiley faces,
- 5:23Speaker 1: and you know, again, you know, maybe maybe some basic
- 5:30Speaker 1: grammar will not only help the Action five news team,
- 5:32Speaker 1: but also this young woman, who.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Is that a lot a lot on the.
- 5:39Speaker 1: We'll see, That's what I kept looking at. So not
- 5:44Speaker 1: only does this young woman need to go back to
- 5:47Speaker 1: school for grammar, but maybe some art classes, because I
- 5:53Speaker 1: can't tell if she's just really bastardizing the umlot or
- 5:59Speaker 1: if that's supposed to be a smiley face. And if
- 6:03Speaker 1: I can't tell the difference, then Jason the ex boyfriend's
- 6:05Speaker 1: not going to be able to tell the difference. He's
- 6:07Speaker 1: just gonna be full of smiles knowing that it wasn't
- 6:09Speaker 1: his car that you jacked up. Now, there is a
- 6:16Speaker 1: car in that photo. There is a car directly behind
- 6:19Speaker 1: the one that she vandalized. It looks similar, but.
- 6:25Speaker 3: It looks like an It could be an Infinite, It
- 6:27Speaker 3: could be a Nissan, definitely older.
- 6:30Speaker 2: May at least it's not some you know, unique vehicle
- 6:33Speaker 2: that she got confused.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Yeah, that would have been That would have been the
- 6:39Speaker 1: hard part to come back from. I am a huge
- 6:48Speaker 1: fan of revenge tales, stories of comeuppance, karma, all of it.
- 6:55Speaker 1: M But if you were going to exact revenge on someone,
- 6:59Speaker 1: makes you get it right, because, like, let's take one
- 7:05Speaker 1: of the most perfect action films about revenge and come
- 7:08Speaker 1: upp and some and karma that there is And that's
- 7:11Speaker 1: the movie Taken, starring Liam Neeson. When his daughter gets taken,
- 7:18Speaker 1: he doesn't give a damn about anybody else's daughter that
- 7:21Speaker 1: got taken. He is solely focused on saving his daughter.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Mm hm. He didn't waste time with somebody else's and
- 7:31Speaker 1: he certainly didn't get his daughter confused with another one.
- 7:35Speaker 1: He knew to go save her because how awkward would
- 7:39Speaker 1: it have been had he been drinking and plotting his revenge.
- 7:42Speaker 1: And he gets on the mega yacht at the end
- 7:44Speaker 1: of the movie, he goes save his daughter, but it
- 7:46Speaker 1: turns out he got on the wrong boat, and when
- 7:48Speaker 1: he's face to face with the bad guy with a
- 7:50Speaker 1: gun pointed at him, he looks at the girl's face
- 7:52Speaker 1: and says, you're not my daughter and walks away, lost
- 7:58Speaker 1: into the Paris night. I'm just saying, if you're going
- 8:03Speaker 1: to plot revenge, plot accordingly, make sure you get it right.
- 8:08Speaker 3: I'm gonna go out on a limb here, Dan with
- 8:13Speaker 3: the spray paint and everything. I don't think there was
- 8:15Speaker 3: a lot of plotting going on. I think that that
- 8:19Speaker 3: was insta craze insta craze.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I think you may be onto something trey usually going
- 8:29Speaker 1: out on the branches of the treehouse or spotty at best,
- 8:32Speaker 1: kind of like my Internet. But in this case, I
- 8:36Speaker 1: feel like you found solid footing.
- 8:38Speaker 3: I feel like he hadn't responded to a text in
- 8:41Speaker 3: fifteen minutes. She deemed he was cheating and went over
- 8:45Speaker 3: to his house to seek revenge.
- 8:47Speaker 1: And take it out on the car.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Yeah, sounds about like Florida.

- 10:50Speaker 1: you are giggling way too hard over there for me
- 10:52Speaker 1: not to ask what's going on? So what's going on?
- 10:55Speaker 2: I was reading more about that story.
- 10:58Speaker 1: About the uh eighteen year old Florida woman who tried
- 11:02Speaker 1: to exact revenge on her boyfriend's car, only to vandalize
- 11:05Speaker 1: the wrong car.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Uh huh.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Oh that's it's a terrible, terrible, sad story. Would you
- 11:10Speaker 1: find out?
- 11:14Speaker 3: Body cam footage obtained by the Outlet captured the moment
- 11:17Speaker 3: police confronted the brazen duo, while Frabranski's alleged accomplice tried
- 11:22Speaker 3: to walk away from any wrongdoing.
- 11:24Speaker 2: I'm not involved, the team, yelled out. Dean.
- 11:28Speaker 3: He's claimed the teen was covered head to toe and
- 11:30Speaker 3: yellow paint, but swears.
- 11:33Speaker 1: She wasn't involved. Uh huh, she just got wrapped up
- 11:37Speaker 1: in the in the rage.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Deputy, you really not need to try harder to be sneaky,
- 11:45Speaker 3: because you are god awful, police told Fabranski in her
- 11:47Speaker 3: pal you guys spray painted the wrong car. Deputies reported
- 11:51Speaker 3: that they saw the two teens driving with open containers
- 11:57Speaker 3: for Locore we go, yeah, along with it, along with
- 12:05Speaker 3: an empty bottle of Crown Royal and of marijuana.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Yes, jack, yeah, that is a Florida trifecta without a doubt.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Oh man.
- 12:20Speaker 2: And then uh, you know, just so you know what
- 12:24Speaker 2: she looked like.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Oh you got a mugshot?
- 12:27Speaker 4: Oh yeah, see there look at that.
- 12:29Speaker 1: My goodness, there is a goth cult waiting for her.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Oh, she's going to be the leader.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I mean. There's a whole group of
- 12:40Speaker 1: people just they have a vacancy at the top, and
- 12:43Speaker 1: they're just ready for her to slide on in. She's
- 12:48Speaker 1: got those dead set eyes like Wednesday Atams.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's what I was trying to figure out
- 12:54Speaker 4: what it would what it looked like.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that's if Wednesday Adams was in Florida. That's the girl, really,
- 13:07Speaker 1: because in the story it says she's eighteen, and in
- 13:10Speaker 1: that mugshot she looks more like twenty eight to thirty eight.
- 13:14Speaker 3: No, I mean, let's let's look at the contents of
- 13:17Speaker 3: the car. Four loco and empty Crown Royal bottle and marijuana.
- 13:21Speaker 3: I'm sure meth was somewhere. You know, they probably left
- 13:23Speaker 3: that at home Metidjason.
- 13:30Speaker 1: That was probably in the ex boyfriend's car.
- 13:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:35Speaker 8: Wow.
- 13:37Speaker 1: So she went to vandalize the boyfriend's car ex boyfriend's car,
- 13:42Speaker 1: took a friend with her, which police now say that's
- 13:44Speaker 1: an accomplice. The accomplice says, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I don't know anything that's going on here. Why are
- 13:50Speaker 1: you covered in yellow paint? I was just walking by
- 13:55Speaker 1: and this crazy and this crazy kid started spray painting
- 13:58Speaker 1: this car and I said, I tried to say stop,
- 14:00Speaker 1: and then she sprayed me down to.
- 14:04Speaker 4: I mean, that's a good defense, right, I mean.
- 14:08Speaker 1: You got you have to ride that wave as long
- 14:09Speaker 1: as you can. But I mean, let's be honest, it's there.
- 14:13Speaker 1: These police. Uh, they're not gonna believe anything. I don't.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I think I think they're I think they're onto the
- 14:18Speaker 1: little crime duo here. I just liked that the police
- 14:23Speaker 1: already knew that it wasn't the right car. I like
- 14:26Speaker 1: to think that the boyfriend called police and said, uh,
- 14:29Speaker 1: someone appears to have vandalized my neighbor's car. Oh okay, yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 1: I know who. It is a big bad news for you, neighbor.
- 14:43Speaker 4: I just can't imagine, Like how do you clean that off?
- 14:49Speaker 1: I guess I guess you better call Mako.
- 14:54Speaker 4: Like I'm guessing that cars that's finished, Like you got
- 14:59Speaker 4: to get rid of that car.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Actually, the story says it wasn't that. I mean, I
- 15:04Speaker 3: guess maybe it was a water based I don't know.
- 15:06Speaker 3: It said it was only like seven hundred dollars of damage.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Just powerwater.
- 15:15Speaker 4: Train would kind of paint the Crazy Girl used.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Just actually I just saw this set that it said
- 15:21Speaker 3: seven hundred dollars of damage, which I mean so obviously
- 15:25Speaker 3: it could be washed off.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, clearly they didn't go with the oil based Yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 1: And I feel like Trey could probably take a mug
- 15:37Speaker 1: shot of a woman and have a general range of
- 15:41Speaker 1: destruction in an in dollar amount, right, just by looking
- 15:45Speaker 1: at the mug shot.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Oh, I mean that girl that she's just limited by
- 15:51Speaker 3: your stupidity. Otherwise she's she could have done thousands of
- 15:54Speaker 3: dollars worth of damage.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Well, she's still young. She's only give me some more.
- 16:00Speaker 2: She is going to ruin a lot of men's lives.
- 16:02Speaker 3: Yeah, just give her another five to seven. You'll be
- 16:04Speaker 3: fine after her first five to seven.
- 16:14Speaker 1: You're listening to the tree House.

- 16:53Speaker 1: the Treehouse Radio portion of the show. I'm Daniel Malley
- 16:57Speaker 1: along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma in the Treehouse
- 17:00Speaker 1: with You today, Monday, March third, twenty twenty five. I've
- 17:06Speaker 1: been telling you guys over the past couple of months
- 17:09Speaker 1: about our website has a new feature. Go to Treehouse
- 17:12Speaker 1: on air dot com and there's a microphone icon on
- 17:15Speaker 1: the lower right hand corner that gives you the opportunity
- 17:19Speaker 1: to leave us a message. Something we're calling Treehouse doc
- 17:21Speaker 1: back or feedback. Whatever, gives you a chance to leave
- 17:23Speaker 1: us a message if there's something you really need us
- 17:25Speaker 1: to know about, especially if it's show related. And that
- 17:29Speaker 1: is what one gentleman did and I appreciate it. A
- 17:31Speaker 1: few people have and this one's super relevant to today.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Last week he left us a message about one of
- 17:38Speaker 1: the commercials inside of the Treehouse Show podcast, which we
- 17:44Speaker 1: don't really have any control over. We can do it
- 17:48Speaker 1: like a little marker when we're uploading the podcast and say, yeah,
- 17:51Speaker 1: put a commercial there, but then our hosting company does
- 17:53Speaker 1: it for us, so we don't really know all the
- 17:55Speaker 1: commercials that get played. So this is where you come
- 17:58Speaker 1: into play. And this is where this gentleman comes into
- 18:00Speaker 1: play with the Treehouse talkback message he left for us
- 18:04Speaker 1: last week.
- 18:07Speaker 9: I don't know if y'all control y'all's commercials, but the
- 18:09Speaker 9: Jim Adler Spanish language commercials on today Wednesday, the twenty
- 18:15Speaker 9: six are hilarious. You need to listen to them.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I've heard Jim Adler commercials for many years. I've seen
- 18:24Speaker 1: them on television, I've heard them on the radio, and
- 18:28Speaker 1: a handful of years ago I saw some of his
- 18:32Speaker 1: Spanish language commercials and they are a rare treat. To
- 18:36Speaker 1: be sure, I did not realize that they were being
- 18:40Speaker 1: inserted into our program as well. If you have not
- 18:44Speaker 1: heard Jim Adler, the Texas Hammer, speaking Spanish and his commercials,
- 18:52Speaker 1: then you haven't lived. The good news is if you
- 18:55Speaker 1: have not heard it, you're about to, and it's all
- 18:59Speaker 1: this guy's fault for having brought it to our attention.
- 19:03Speaker 3: I I hope, I hope this is as good as
- 19:07Speaker 3: it is in my head.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what I was hoping. I was like, what
- 19:14Speaker 4: I can picture, I hope it's as good.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Let's find out. Hang on, let me switch to theater mode.
- 19:25Speaker 6: Here we go, hinted Jim.
- 19:30Speaker 10: All right, let's be honest, yo saw so Jim Addler,
- 19:39Speaker 10: Mark Cleo, Johanna me clean.
- 19:41Speaker 11: They say, let's you know and coming on, who say
- 19:45Speaker 11: it's the country Dodge in Subo Theo.
- 19:49Speaker 10: Locally they import the pump there day Contisan tabo lets you.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Everything. I thought it would be.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Yep, absolutely.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I don't even know if that's the same one that
- 20:03Speaker 1: played during our podcast show last week. I don't think
- 20:08Speaker 1: it early matters. The point is Jim Adler knows Spanish,
- 20:13Speaker 1: I think no.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I think he can read it off off a card
- 20:20Speaker 2: a Q card. I don't know. I doubt he's conversational.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I don't think Jim Adler, the Texas Hammer is quite
- 20:30Speaker 1: fluent in Spanish.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I think he has a son, YoSoy Jim Adler, Yes, Billimdler.
- 20:42Speaker 4: That's way too many marble lights in Jim Handler's life.
- 20:47Speaker 4: But he has a son that's also the other lawyer
- 20:50Speaker 4: as well. Right, yeah, yeah, he's uh.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Now, it's a family business because you know, Jim Adler
- 20:54Speaker 1: can't do it forever and at some point he's got
- 20:57Speaker 1: a past the hammer to the next generation of hammers,
- 21:07Speaker 1: to the next generation of Adler's. So that's that's where
- 21:11Speaker 1: we are. So Jim Adler, Spanish Hammer, all of it
- 21:16Speaker 1: right there for you.
- 21:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like Bill Adler is the Brownie James
- 21:21Speaker 3: of the legal profession.
- 21:24Speaker 1: I think that's actually pretty accurate.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Jim's always passing the bill.
- 21:33Speaker 1: It might be good. You're just not the goat, uh
- 21:43Speaker 1: damn goats.
- 21:46Speaker 8: I'm Jim Adler, Texas Hammer.
- 21:48Speaker 1: I think I might be able to pull that off.
- 21:50Speaker 1: The only problem is I quit smoking so many years
- 21:53Speaker 1: ago that I don't even know if I could do
- 21:55Speaker 1: this current Jim Adler justice because I don't have I
- 21:58Speaker 1: don't have the Marlborough man uh gruffness in my throat
- 22:02Speaker 1: like he does.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Yeah, he's he's a very angry guy. I don't I
- 22:08Speaker 4: don't understand, like to make that much money for people
- 22:12Speaker 4: and to help people to be that angry, and then
- 22:16Speaker 4: his son is even angrier.
- 22:18Speaker 8: Like sorry, Jim Handler or Martillo de tight House.
- 22:29Speaker 1: How's that so far?
- 22:30Speaker 8: Not bad?
- 22:31Speaker 1: Not bad? You're uh.
- 22:35Speaker 2: You're Luke and your gym or.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Serious crossover?
- 22:44Speaker 2: What's the other one?
- 22:47Speaker 7: One?
- 22:47Speaker 2: Other one?
- 22:48Speaker 1: Brian Alex Jones. Yeah, this is sort of like a
- 22:52Speaker 1: really disgusting lab experiment. Petrie Dish I v f type
- 22:57Speaker 1: uh goo donation situation where you've got Luke Bryan, Alex

- 24:32Speaker 1: the middle of our show they get inserted. So the one.
- 24:38Speaker 1: So everything that's about to happen, I'm going to blame

- 29:22Speaker 8: feel responsible.

- 29:28Speaker 12: I'm expanding into other dangerous areas. Have you fallen face
- 29:33Speaker 12: first into a Punchos buffet? Those sneeze guards don't support
- 29:41Speaker 12: the body weight of an average person, let alone a
- 29:43Speaker 12: regular buffet customer, so how can they expect to protect
- 29:47Speaker 12: their ravenous customers. I had a client jump face first
- 29:51Speaker 12: into the refried beans, melted part of her face.
- 29:55Speaker 8: Some of it dripped into the case, which was then
- 29:57Speaker 8: eaten by a rabbit carrot.
- 30:01Speaker 1: You guys are closer in your translation.
- 30:04Speaker 12: With my help, she got a full refund. The fat lady,

- 30:23Speaker 12: role play with my wife. She's really into Gallagher. If
- 30:31Speaker 12: you've been hurt by a big truck, you call my
- 30:34Speaker 12: idiot son.
- 30:35Speaker 8: But if you've jumped me first into a.

- 31:50Speaker 1: what was it you're asking me in the break? Uh?
- 31:52Speaker 9: What was it?
- 31:53Speaker 2: How did you say the I am the Poncho's Hammer
- 31:56Speaker 2: in Spanish?
- 31:58Speaker 1: Uh, let's see. You're gonna go back to my Google
- 31:59Speaker 1: trend late m Sey Jim Adler, Uh, soy.
- 32:05Speaker 8: Jim Andler El Martino de Pancho.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Yeah, he zoy Jim Adler, El Martino de Pancho, the
- 32:12Speaker 1: Poncho's Hammer. Okay, El martinod Puncho. I know what the
- 32:17Speaker 1: title of this episode is, and I was friends with Gallagher.
- 32:28Speaker 4: Leo is my buddy.
- 32:30Speaker 2: He lives.
- 32:31Speaker 1: He lives in the bedroom of mister and Missus Adler.
- 32:38Speaker 1: It's a really really specific fetish. I just want to
- 32:43Speaker 1: see in real life. Jim Adler dressed up as Gallagher.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Oh God help us all I really got to start
- 32:54Speaker 1: doing my impressions at the end of the show. Some
- 32:57Speaker 1: throat can recover accordingly, uh ah, all right, changing gears
- 33:09Speaker 1: just a little bit. In the year twenty twenty, an
- 33:15Speaker 1: Italian man got into an argument with his wife and
- 33:18Speaker 1: he took a long walk to cool off. Police found
- 33:22Speaker 1: him a week later, two hundred and eighty miles away
- 33:25Speaker 1: from home.
- 33:28Speaker 4: Nice.
- 33:30Speaker 1: I have no idea what they were fighting about. And
- 33:34Speaker 1: this was back during COVID, so it's it's COVID era Italy,
- 33:41Speaker 1: so most of the country was on lockdown. Police I
- 33:46Speaker 1: wouldn't say pulled him over, you know, because he was walking.
- 33:50Speaker 1: But the reason why they stopped him was because he
- 33:53Speaker 1: was out past curfew because in twenty twenty, I guess
- 33:57Speaker 1: the town he was walking through at the time had
- 33:59Speaker 1: a curfew for COVID and he was out past it.
- 34:02Speaker 1: So they gave him like an almost five hundred dollars
- 34:05Speaker 1: ticket for being out past curfew, all because a week
- 34:10Speaker 1: earlier he had gotten into a fight with his wife
- 34:14Speaker 1: and needed a walk to cool off. And he wasn't
- 34:16Speaker 1: found for a week and two hundred and eighty miles away.
- 34:20Speaker 3: I mean, I've had some women pissed me off in
- 34:24Speaker 3: my day, but you're talking about forty miles a day
- 34:26Speaker 3: for a week.
- 34:29Speaker 1: And had it not been for the police detaining him
- 34:33Speaker 1: after curfew, which they had during COVID when this happened
- 34:37Speaker 1: in twenty twenty, he might still be walking. We'll never know.
- 34:45Speaker 2: The Italian Forrest Gump.
- 34:50Speaker 1: I was pretty tired a bit said something made me mad,
- 34:57Speaker 1: you know, But with an Italian accent, I kept walking.
- 35:03Speaker 1: I think I could do that. I don't think I
- 35:04Speaker 1: can do that impersonation with an Italian accent. That's where
- 35:07Speaker 1: the guys that make a living, like an actual living
- 35:09Speaker 1: doing impressions. Impersonations. Yeah, wow me. I mean, because being
- 35:13Speaker 1: able to throw your voice enough to sound like another
- 35:16Speaker 1: human that's very distinct is an amazing talent. But then
- 35:20Speaker 1: being able to add a twist to it, like say
- 35:23Speaker 1: some other accent on top of it, I mind blowing
- 35:25Speaker 1: as far as I'm concerned. But yeah, A forty eight
- 35:30Speaker 1: year old man walked for a week until he was
- 35:33Speaker 1: stopped by police on a coastal highway in Italy, two
- 35:36Speaker 1: hundred and eighty miles away from his home. He started
- 35:39Speaker 1: in Como, Italy and ended up in Fano. While speaking
- 35:44Speaker 1: to authorities at two am local time, the man reportedly
- 35:46Speaker 1: told them I came here on foot, I didn't use
- 35:49Speaker 1: any transport. I met people who offered me food and drink.
- 35:53Speaker 1: He says, I'm okay, just a bit tired. He is
- 36:00Speaker 1: the Italian for his gum.
- 36:04Speaker 4: Just a bit tired of that bitch.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Oh. Despite his attempts to explain the situation, police find
- 36:16Speaker 1: the man four hundred and eighty five dollars for being
- 36:19Speaker 1: out past the city's mandated COVID nineteen quarantine curfew. They
- 36:23Speaker 1: later checked the man's idea in their database and learned
- 36:25Speaker 1: that his wife had reported him missing. Authorities contacted the wife,
- 36:29Speaker 1: who traveled to Fano to get her wandering husband, who
- 36:33Speaker 1: was put up in a hotel until she arrived. In
- 36:36Speaker 1: the wake of the fine, users on social media expressed
- 36:38Speaker 1: their opinions over the story. Argued the man should have
- 36:41Speaker 1: should not have been given a penalty. Some said he
- 36:44Speaker 1: should have been rewarded with a pair of new shoes. Okay,
- 36:49Speaker 1: and we're still left in the lurch five years later,
- 36:54Speaker 1: five years later, we still don't know what the fight
- 36:57Speaker 1: was about that sent this man on a walk for
- 37:00Speaker 1: two hundred and eighty miles, and again, had it not
- 37:04Speaker 1: been for the police, he might still be going.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I've never been that mad. I mean I've been mad,
- 37:12Speaker 4: but like not two hundred and eighty miles.
- 37:15Speaker 1: My memory is not good enough to stay that mad
- 37:17Speaker 1: for a week.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Yeah, Like something else will happen that will replace that
- 37:23Speaker 1: memory or just push it really, really really far down
- 37:26Speaker 1: the memory banks, and other things will happen, they get
- 37:29Speaker 1: stacked on top. I'm not gonna be able to remember
- 37:31Speaker 1: a lot of that stuff.
- 37:32Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, I would start walking and I'd get
- 37:36Speaker 3: distracted by Jim Oudler billboard and you know, have.
- 37:41Speaker 8: You followed face first into a punt Jos puffet.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Not?
- 37:46Speaker 2: Just do it in Italian?
- 37:47Speaker 4: That'd be great.
- 37:49Speaker 8: Are you afraid of your wife?
- 38:02Speaker 5: You're in the Treehouse Business online at Treehouse on Air

- 38:44Speaker 1: Daniel Maley, Trey Trenholm, Roschamer with you inside the Treehouse.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Did I forget to do birthdays?
- 38:50Speaker 9: You did?
- 38:50Speaker 1: You did?
- 38:51Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 38:53Speaker 1: Well, you know, we got sidetracked with so many wonderful things.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Florida and Spanish, Jim Adler and the Italian man who
- 39:02Speaker 1: went for a week long walk. Ah, some good stuff.
- 39:08Speaker 1: And I've still got other good things. But now I
- 39:10Speaker 1: don't know what I should do. You know, look at
- 39:13Speaker 1: birthdays for yourself. Why do I always have to be
- 39:16Speaker 1: the person that does it for you? Ah? But there
- 39:24Speaker 1: is one last little thing that I need to share
- 39:27Speaker 1: with you inside the Treehouse today before we close up,
- 39:32Speaker 1: and that is some really excellent advice from the Commerce City,
- 39:36Speaker 1: Colorado Police Department. They recently posted on their Facebook page,
- 39:42Speaker 1: don't be waving a gun around in Walmart. Just another
- 39:47Speaker 1: don't do it here. Commerce City, Colorado Police Department on
- 39:54Speaker 1: their Facebook last week said don't be waving a gun
- 39:56Speaker 1: around at Walmart. There's some solid community policing.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Right there, solid life advice.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I feel like I feel like this
- 40:09Speaker 1: advice would would carry over from one town to just
- 40:15Speaker 1: about any town that has a Walmart. Don't go waving
- 40:19Speaker 1: a gun around in Walmart. Of course, that's Colorado. They
- 40:24Speaker 1: do that in Texas. You wave a gun around a
- 40:26Speaker 1: Walmart and you end up getting shot yourself. Yeah, I'm
- 40:32Speaker 1: pretty fascinated by that. I got I gotta get a
- 40:36Speaker 1: little bit of context here. On February sixteenth, Oh, this
- 40:38Speaker 1: is actually a while back. Commerce City Police in Colorado
- 40:41Speaker 1: responded to a call at the walmart. According to police,
- 40:44Speaker 1: the suspect was seen on surveillance footage waving the gun
- 40:46Speaker 1: in the store and then placing it in a backpack.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Body camera footage shows police officers confronting the suspect in
- 40:53Speaker 1: the store. The suspect begins to reach for that backpack,
- 40:55Speaker 1: and police immediately apprehended. Police said even at the suspect
- 41:00Speaker 1: was carrying the gun legal league, which they said he
- 41:02Speaker 1: was not. It is illegal to brandish a firearm in
- 41:05Speaker 1: a threatening way for no reason. The suspect was facing
- 41:10Speaker 1: a charge of unlawfully carrying a concealed firearm. However, police
- 41:13Speaker 1: learned he's a convicted felon and is facing an additional
- 41:17Speaker 1: charge of possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
- 41:20Speaker 1: And the hits just keep on coming all this little Walmart, Walmart,
- 41:31Speaker 1: the people of Walmart still going strong thet They don't
- 41:36Speaker 1: really seem to change, nor do they seem to want
- 41:38Speaker 1: to either.
- 41:40Speaker 4: It's not I'm telling you, it's that Colorado weed. That's
- 41:44Speaker 4: what's getting everybody. It's just a different strain hits you a.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Little different up there.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Altitude.
- 41:56Speaker 1: That would be my that would be my claim left
- 41:59Speaker 1: and right. I'm from low Land. I'm not used to
- 42:02Speaker 1: this altitude. Nuts, that's your defends. Why do you have
- 42:08Speaker 1: a gun altitude?
- 42:10Speaker 4: That's it?
- 42:11Speaker 3: Doesn't I wonder if if if in all the strains
- 42:15Speaker 3: of weed they have now, I wonder if they have
- 42:17Speaker 3: a Florida strain.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Oh, I don't. I don't think that's for anybody. I
- 42:25Speaker 1: think even the drug dealers would say, no, we can't.
- 42:27Speaker 2: You have to destroy that.
- 42:30Speaker 1: I can't have that.
- 42:33Speaker 4: That's the strain that makes Jim Dler speak Spanish.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Old.
- 42:47Speaker 12: Jim Handler El Martin on the tight House. Have you
- 42:51Speaker 12: been made sick by thin air and everglade Polo's a strain?
- 42:59Speaker 12: Have you been taken over by the swamp grass?
- 43:13Speaker 8: You're sorry?
- 43:18Speaker 1: Thanks training out with us inside the treehouse.
