0:08
Speaker 3: Good evening, ann Welcome to the Rita Panini Show.
0:11
Speaker 4: Coming up tonight, a group of masked news filmed terrorizing
0:15
Speaker 4: multiple businesses in Melbourne. Nikata will cover that and the
0:19
Speaker 4: day's other top headlines. The Great Douglas Murray joins the
0:22
Speaker 4: program and I'll get his reaction to the sentencing of
0:25
Speaker 4: two Afghan nationals in the UK for the rape of
0:29
Speaker 4: a fifteen year old girl.
0:31
Speaker 3: M Horowitz will have the latest from.
0:33
Speaker 4: The US, including Erica Kirk condemning conspiracy theories about her
0:38
Speaker 4: husband's murder, and Kinziscofield will explain why Megan Markle is
0:43
Speaker 4: making a show of contacting her stranged father. Left is
0:47
Speaker 4: Losing It features a pronoun induced meltdown.
0:52
Speaker 2: Hey TikTok, can you guys help me? Spam call the
0:55
Speaker 2: mon County Improviation Office in Monengelia County, West Virginia for
1:00
Speaker 2: being transfer but first.
1:02
Speaker 4: Victoria's property industry has delivered its final report card for
1:06
Speaker 4: twenty twenty five to the Allen government, and it's bad news.
1:10
Speaker 4: The property sector has given the state its worst rating,
1:14
Speaker 4: with data showing housing confidence remains at extremely low levels.
1:19
Speaker 4: Victoria has again recorded Australia's lowest industry sentiment, with confidence
1:25
Speaker 4: in the state government's planning and growth management also the
1:29
Speaker 4: lowest in the country. Joining me now for more on
1:32
Speaker 4: this is Menzies the Research Center senior fellow Nick Cata. Nick,
1:37
Speaker 4: we've got over sixty five percent of Victorian respondents saying
1:41
Speaker 4: that the States tax regime was the number one issue
1:46
Speaker 4: halting further development.
1:49
Speaker 5: Yeah, guess what tax does that doesn't it? Tax stops things.
1:53
Speaker 5: It stops people investing, it stops people buying. Putting a
1:56
Speaker 5: syntax on housing is not a good idea. You know,
1:59
Speaker 5: you you really need to encourage housing. Of course, you've
2:03
Speaker 5: got all sorts of taxes down there. It's bad enough
2:05
Speaker 5: in New South Wales, by the way, if you want
2:07
Speaker 5: to build a property, you're paying an enormous amount on
2:11
Speaker 5: tax and regulation to build a place and that is
2:14
Speaker 5: deterring development much worse in Victoria. And this is at
2:18
Speaker 5: the very time when we desperately need housing. What is
2:21
Speaker 5: it They don't get about the fact that the real
2:23
Speaker 5: problem why young people are struggling to buy houses, why
2:26
Speaker 5: people are paying a fortune in rent, it's because there
2:30
Speaker 5: is a shortage of housing. The government should be doing
2:33
Speaker 5: everything they can. I mean, look, they give subsidies to windmills, right,
2:37
Speaker 5: so what about at the very least reducing the taxation
2:42
Speaker 5: on housing and particularly developers, so that they can build
2:47
Speaker 5: the enormous demand there is for housing.
2:51
Speaker 4: Now Staying in Melbourne, a group of masked youths have
2:54
Speaker 4: been filmed terrorizing multiple businesses in Bentley Eases As, a
3:00
Speaker 4: quite suburb around thirteen fourteen kilometers southeast of the city.
3:04
Speaker 4: The incident unfolded around eight thirty am on Chesterville Road.
3:09
Speaker 4: A current affair reporter Marty Keing captured the footage while
3:14
Speaker 4: running errands.
3:15
Speaker 1: Have a look.
3:19
Speaker 6: And this mob, many wearing masks, are running riot. Mike
3:28
Speaker 6: claims these young people stole alcohol from his shop. He
3:32
Speaker 6: also claims it's not the first time he makes the
3:36
Speaker 6: citizens arrest. Until police arrived, he's punched, slapped and punched again.
3:42
Speaker 4: Officers have arrested several teens at the scene. Two male
3:46
Speaker 4: staff members were treated for minor injuries. Victoria Police also
3:51
Speaker 4: confirmed they were already investigating similar behavior by the same
3:55
Speaker 4: group at a nearby amphole service station.
3:58
Speaker 3: Where an incident unfolded.
4:00
Speaker 4: Seems like the Jacinta Haalan governments suppose a tough on
4:04
Speaker 4: youth crime approach isn't having much of an impact at
4:08
Speaker 4: the coal face.
4:11
Speaker 5: No, I think under these new laws they'll be able
4:14
Speaker 5: to impose life sentences on sixteen year olds. Look good
4:17
Speaker 5: luck with that. You know, there's the whole, the whole,
4:19
Speaker 5: the whole system is rotten from the government and it's imposed,
4:25
Speaker 5: you know, imposing these lax bail laws, which is now
4:28
Speaker 5: trying to tighten up, going soft on youth crime. Then
4:32
Speaker 5: you've got the police who fill their hands are tied
4:34
Speaker 5: so often because they're not getting the back up. You've
4:36
Speaker 5: got shopkeepers there who don't dare sort of do anything
4:40
Speaker 5: firm to stop these people because they might be the
4:43
Speaker 5: ones in trouble. And then of course you've got the courts.
4:46
Speaker 5: It really is a diabolical mess. Resa. I'm sorry to
4:50
Speaker 5: criticize your state on crime yet again.
4:53
Speaker 7: But what is it? What is it?
4:54
Speaker 5: Is there a correlation here? What does Portland, Oregon, Minneapolis,
5:00
Speaker 5: San Francisco and soon New York got in common with Melbourne. Well,
5:05
Speaker 5: if you have a woke government, you get crime now.
5:10
Speaker 4: Nick Tania plipper Sex decision to block the billion dollar
5:14
Speaker 4: Blaney gold mine is under renewed scrutiny. Mining Giant Regious
5:19
Speaker 4: Resources told the Federal Court Judicial Review that acceptance of
5:23
Speaker 4: a blue Banded B dreaming story as a central piece
5:28
Speaker 4: of evidence for blocking the mind without independent scrutiny lacked
5:32
Speaker 4: any rational basis. Now Nick Regis is seeking to have
5:37
Speaker 4: this decision repealed, And last week we had Judge James
5:42
Speaker 4: Stelios grant a non publication order to protect cultural sensitivities
5:48
Speaker 4: and uphold Indigenous traditional law. Now that doesn't sound great
5:53
Speaker 4: for transparency, does it.
5:55
Speaker 7: No.
5:55
Speaker 5: I mean there's two very disturbing things about this. First
5:58
Speaker 5: is Tanya pliver sx action in banning it on the
6:02
Speaker 5: basis of this claim about what is it the blue
6:05
Speaker 5: banded B. Look, you know, please please, I mean, this
6:11
Speaker 5: is nonsense. We've been through us. We went through all
6:13
Speaker 5: this thirty years ago in South Australia with this so
6:16
Speaker 5: called secret women's business that a young Chris Kenny wrote
6:20
Speaker 5: a very good book exposing. I thought we dealt with
6:22
Speaker 5: this sort of nonsense. But because the other thing you
6:25
Speaker 5: point to there is the issue of justice. You cannot
6:28
Speaker 5: have justice being done in secret and then justice being
6:32
Speaker 5: seemed to be fair. The two don't go hand in
6:35
Speaker 5: hand and the fact that this decision was made to
6:39
Speaker 5: keep it secret because aboriginal law or something says, you know,
6:43
Speaker 5: something general will happen if it comes out in public. Look,
6:47
Speaker 5: that's not good enough. That's not good enough. We have
6:49
Speaker 5: a legal system that functions. People have confidence in the
6:53
Speaker 5: legal system only in so far as they can see
6:55
Speaker 5: justice being done. And if there's a being cast over it,
7:01
Speaker 5: so you can't see why this decision is being made.
7:03
Speaker 5: You can't see the basis of the evidence. This is
7:06
Speaker 5: really really bad for people's consequence confidence in our justice system.
7:12
Speaker 4: You need to have that transparency. You need to have
7:15
Speaker 4: consistency as well. You can't have selective application of the
7:20
Speaker 4: law in certain circumstances, often or sometimes based on race issues.
7:26
Speaker 4: Nick Kta, thank you so much for your time tonight.
7:30
Speaker 4: Joining me now is the author of international best sellers,
7:33
Speaker 4: including his latest work on Democracies and death.
7:36
Speaker 3: Cult Douglas Murray.
7:38
Speaker 4: Let's start in the US, and we have a war
7:41
Speaker 4: of words between Donald Trump and elin Omer and that's
7:45
Speaker 4: intensified further with President Trump suggesting she is in the
7:49
Speaker 4: country illegally and she may have even married her own brother.
7:56
Speaker 8: Yes, this story has been around for a while. Quite
8:01
Speaker 8: a lot of journalists have investigated this story in the
8:05
Speaker 8: past and have come to that conclusion rather staggering though
8:09
Speaker 8: it might seem to many of us. The allegation is
8:13
Speaker 8: that yes, Congresswoman Ilanomar married her own brother in order
8:19
Speaker 8: to get him citizenship in the United States. She has
8:24
Speaker 8: always skirted around answering the questions about this, and now
8:29
Speaker 8: President Trump has raised it. I suspect she's not going
8:32
Speaker 8: to be able to skird around that for much longer.
8:36
Speaker 8: There's a lot she has to answer about this, and
8:39
Speaker 8: so far she's been able to stonewall it by just
8:42
Speaker 8: sort of neglecting to answer the investative journalists or giving
8:46
Speaker 8: them information that seems not to be accurate. I don't
8:50
Speaker 8: know if she's going to be able to keep getting
8:51
Speaker 8: away with this now the spotlight is so bright on
8:54
Speaker 8: her and her family relations Douglas.
8:58
Speaker 4: There's also talk about her eli Omar accumulated such wealth
9:03
Speaker 4: in a short period of time. She's accumulated millions in
9:06
Speaker 4: wealth when she went into the job to be a
9:09
Speaker 4: politician with nothing, but she's hardly alone there. That seems
9:12
Speaker 4: to be a problem in the US. Let's go to
9:14
Speaker 4: the UK now where too Afghan national seeking asylum have
9:18
Speaker 4: each been sentenced for the rape of a fifteen year
9:21
Speaker 4: old girl. Footage of the assault is so harrowing that
9:24
Speaker 4: it was feared it could trigger a riot.
9:28
Speaker 3: The crime was committed just months after these.
9:30
Speaker 4: Two individuals came to the UK as unaccompanied child asylum seekers.
9:35
Speaker 4: One defense lawyer argued that cultural differences played a part.
9:40
Speaker 4: He said that the defendant is not used to a
9:43
Speaker 4: society where women are free and deemed equal to men.
9:46
Speaker 3: He is morally at sea.
9:47
Speaker 4: There are massive cultural barriers that have become massive moral barriers,
9:52
Speaker 4: and that again seems to be at the heart of
9:55
Speaker 4: this debate. Douglas, should the UK have migration, have these
10:00
Speaker 4: asylum programs with cultures that are not really compatible with
10:05
Speaker 4: Western values?
10:06
Speaker 8: Well, I like the way in which the defendant's lawyer
10:09
Speaker 8: phrased that it almost sounds like there's sort of equal
10:13
Speaker 8: moral culpability in that he happened to come from a
10:17
Speaker 8: different society and we don't have the same norms as
10:20
Speaker 8: that society. So it's a kind of six of one,
10:22
Speaker 8: half a dozen of the other. Problem. The British public
10:26
Speaker 8: didn't ask for people like this to be in their country.
10:30
Speaker 8: We didn't ask to have sometimes more than a thousand
10:35
Speaker 8: people coming illegally by boat each day. We didn't ask
10:39
Speaker 8: for that, and we didn't ask for the importing of
10:42
Speaker 8: people from cultures where women are regarded as chattel and
10:48
Speaker 8: for this to be the defense, you know. I mean,
10:51
Speaker 8: I have seen this before, and have seen cases like
10:54
Speaker 8: this before. There was a case I wrote about in
10:57
Speaker 8: my book The Strange Death of Europe almost ten years
11:00
Speaker 8: years ago, where a man from Eritrea gave an interview
11:02
Speaker 8: in which he said, well, where I'm from, you can
11:05
Speaker 8: just grab a woman off the street and a raper.
11:09
Speaker 8: And I think the British public, like a lot of
11:12
Speaker 8: our publics, are getting kind of sick of this sort
11:16
Speaker 8: of allegation that it were there's our culture is somehow
11:21
Speaker 8: sort of a blame for this.
11:23
Speaker 7: Well, I'm sorry.
11:24
Speaker 8: If this isn't a line in the sand, if this
11:27
Speaker 8: isn't a norm we can keep established, then actually, if
11:32
Speaker 8: you are going to come to Britain or any other
11:34
Speaker 8: Western country legally or illegally, and preferably nobody doing it illegally,
11:40
Speaker 8: then they should at least realize that the norms of
11:44
Speaker 8: their society do not apply in our countries and that
11:48
Speaker 8: our countries do not regard women in this seventh century light,
11:53
Speaker 8: and it's really appalling. And you mentioned Rita that a
11:57
Speaker 8: crucial fact thereout the footage, there is a strange thing
12:03
Speaker 8: which we've talked about before, that that is going on
12:06
Speaker 8: in every Western country when it comes to this, which
12:10
Speaker 8: is that the authorities are worried about the public finding
12:15
Speaker 8: out about what's happening in their own country, and so
12:19
Speaker 8: the authorities, including the police, effectively behave as a mediating body.
12:24
Speaker 8: You know, we can't release this footage, or we can't
12:27
Speaker 8: release it in full, otherwise people will become angry. Well,
12:33
Speaker 8: you know, first of all, we have the right to
12:35
Speaker 8: know what's happening in our countries. We have the right
12:39
Speaker 8: to know if people are assaulting women on our streets
12:43
Speaker 8: or dragging them off and raping them like that. And
12:47
Speaker 8: we'll come to our own conclusions about that. You know,
12:50
Speaker 8: we're adults, and we have the right to respond to that,
12:53
Speaker 8: including with absolute disgust and opprobrium. But this endless idea,
13:00
Speaker 8: I think the authorities think something like they sort of
13:02
Speaker 8: keep a lid on it. If the problem is going on,
13:06
Speaker 8: you put a lid on it. And you try to
13:08
Speaker 8: make sure that the public knows little about the problem
13:11
Speaker 8: as possible, otherwise the public will be unpredictable. I think
13:17
Speaker 8: this is way past time as a tactic from the authorities,
13:21
Speaker 8: Way past time. The public want to know what's happening.
13:26
Speaker 8: And you know, you just think back to the extraordinary
13:30
Speaker 8: wordplay we've had in the last twenty five years in Britain.
13:35
Speaker 8: Remember that it's taken all these decades to talk about
13:37
Speaker 8: the Pakistani mainly grooming gangs in the North of England.
13:41
Speaker 8: But just consider years. Not only was that information covered
13:45
Speaker 8: over much like in these recent cases, but we get
13:49
Speaker 8: these euphemisms grooming, grooming, which is a nasty term. It's
13:56
Speaker 8: definitely a termin it's not nice if somebody's being groomed.
14:00
Speaker 8: But that term is completely inadequate for industrial scale raping
14:07
Speaker 8: of young women in your society, the torturing of young
14:12
Speaker 8: women in some of these cases, the physical sexual not
14:16
Speaker 8: to mention psychological torturing of these young women. And again,
14:21
Speaker 8: in every way, whether it's literally trying to suppress footage
14:25
Speaker 8: or trying to minimize the acts by playing around with
14:29
Speaker 8: the English language, all of this is way past time.
14:32
Speaker 8: The public deserve to know what's happening in their country,
14:36
Speaker 8: and they do not deserve to have authorities acting as
14:39
Speaker 8: some kind of mediating body between the public and the facts.
14:44
Speaker 4: Douglas, You're right that preoccupation with social cohesion is a
14:48
Speaker 4: problem right here in this country. I think authorities think
14:51
Speaker 4: it's preferable to keep people in the dark as long
14:54
Speaker 4: as social cohesion is not threatened.
14:58
Speaker 8: These are cases so severe and appalling that in any
15:02
Speaker 8: normal season there would be a hunt for the people
15:08
Speaker 8: who held secondary responsibility for the crime. That is, the
15:12
Speaker 8: people who allowed these people into the country. If you
15:16
Speaker 8: have a rapist coming into your country, there should be
15:21
Speaker 8: heads rolling metaphorically in departments in Whitehall. There should be
15:27
Speaker 8: immigration officers, Border Force officers and others, government ministers, people
15:34
Speaker 8: in the Home Office and elsewhere held responsible for this.
15:38
Speaker 8: We have inquiries into everything in the UK. When the
15:43
Speaker 8: Home Office a few years ago, when Teresa May was
15:47
Speaker 8: in power, there was this huge scandal because some people
15:50
Speaker 8: who had come on the famous wind rush generation ago
15:56
Speaker 8: had an accident in their immigration status that suggested that
16:01
Speaker 8: some of the many decades after having got into the
16:04
Speaker 8: UK should should actually leave and didn't have permanent means
16:09
Speaker 8: to remain. Now that was a huge scandal and the
16:14
Speaker 8: Labor Party wanted to bring down the Conservative government over it.
16:18
Speaker 8: The Labor activists and someone still go on about it.
16:22
Speaker 8: Why on Earth when people are coming into the country
16:27
Speaker 8: and committing violent rapes and violent crimes, is no one
16:33
Speaker 8: ever held responsible? No border official, no local council official,
16:39
Speaker 8: no immigration official, no Home Office official, no Home Office minister.
16:45
Speaker 8: In what other situation if this happened once in a
16:49
Speaker 8: normal political season, a minister would have to resign because
16:53
Speaker 8: they've let a rapist into the country. But we're in
16:57
Speaker 8: this situation where nobody ever has to take any responsibility
17:02
Speaker 8: and the public need to just keep suffering through the
17:05
Speaker 8: results of inept border policies, inept immigration policies, and a
17:10
Speaker 8: completely lacks a system of legal and illegal immigration. I
17:17
Speaker 8: think it's absolutely astonishing and I'm amazed that the British
17:21
Speaker 8: public are not calling and the British media aren't calling
17:25
Speaker 8: more for us to actually identify the people in government
17:28
Speaker 8: who are responsible for these lapses, because they're not one offs.
17:33
Speaker 8: They are constant, and there should be constant pressure to
17:38
Speaker 8: find out who the people are who have been allowing
17:41
Speaker 8: this to happen and to make sure that they do
17:43
Speaker 8: not go off into some happy, pensioned retirement.
17:48
Speaker 4: Now let's talk about something a little bit more frivolous.
17:53
Speaker 4: We've had a few days now to digest the latest
17:56
Speaker 4: episode of Prince Harry embarrassing his family, possible embarrassing the
18:00
Speaker 4: entire country with his thirsty attention seeking. This time was
18:06
Speaker 4: an ill advised appearance on Stephen Colbert's program where he
18:11
Speaker 4: tried to be a comedian. I don't know exactly know
18:13
Speaker 4: what was going on. We had an incident. Have a
18:16
Speaker 4: look at this sketch. Try to understand this.
18:19
Speaker 9: So if you was treated like a king for the day,
18:21
Speaker 9: what would you want me.
18:21
Speaker 7: To do for you? Beck?
18:24
Speaker 2: For me?
18:24
Speaker 7: Probably you'd want me to do what beg?
18:28
Speaker 2: Beg Beck, beg the okay?
18:32
Speaker 7: Beck?
18:33
Speaker 3: Bake, oh, Baker.
18:38
Speaker 4: Douglas.
18:40
Speaker 3: I don't know what to say.
18:41
Speaker 4: Do you feel any secondhand embarrassment as a brit Just
18:45
Speaker 4: what is Prince Harry playing out?
18:47
Speaker 3: Why would he go on Colbert and do whatever that was?
18:53
Speaker 8: First of all, yes, I feel a deep cringing embarrassment.
18:57
Speaker 8: I wanted to cover my eyes as you were showing
19:00
Speaker 8: me that reta. I never want to see it again. Ah,
19:02
Speaker 8: there's more of it now on the screen. The whole
19:07
Speaker 8: thing is excruciating, of course, But you know, normally in
19:11
Speaker 8: a situation like this, when somebody tries their hand, for instance,
19:15
Speaker 8: a comedy, the normal thing to say is, you know,
19:18
Speaker 8: don't give up the day job. Except you can't really
19:21
Speaker 8: say that in this case. It's not clear what Harry's
19:23
Speaker 8: date job is. It sort of don't give up not
19:27
Speaker 8: doing anything in the day. It's just excruciating. He is
19:34
Speaker 8: seems to me to be intent on destroying the mystique
19:39
Speaker 8: and some of the power really of the monarchy as
19:44
Speaker 8: an institution. The monarchy as an institution is incredibly important
19:49
Speaker 8: in a constitutional democracy, and Prince Harry has been trying
19:54
Speaker 8: to sort of spend down the endowment of public sympathy
20:00
Speaker 8: and even I think interest in him, and this is
20:04
Speaker 8: just the latest example of him going about this. I
20:06
Speaker 8: always have the same thing, Rita when I see this,
20:09
Speaker 8: which is I think, what a terrible way to spend
20:13
Speaker 8: your life. You know, he's clearly looking for a purpose.
20:17
Speaker 8: It's a bit odd to try to find it on
20:18
Speaker 8: the Stephen Colbert Show, but put that aside for a moment.
20:21
Speaker 8: He's clearly trying to find some kind of purpose. But
20:24
Speaker 8: just imagine if he had done what duty actually demanded
20:29
Speaker 8: of him, he would be in the UK at the
20:31
Speaker 8: moment with his wife, and they'd be performing royal duties.
20:35
Speaker 8: They'd be raising funds for deserving charities. They'd be opening
20:41
Speaker 8: sports facilities and school halls and things to you know,
20:48
Speaker 8: sort of enamored crowds of people who just wished them
20:52
Speaker 8: well and they could actually be doing good with their lives,
20:56
Speaker 8: and instead there's just this sort of peripatetic wandering around
21:02
Speaker 8: TV studios and elsewhere, and it's just such a it's
21:05
Speaker 8: such a bad way for him to spend his life,
21:09
Speaker 8: and to spend down, if you remember back, you know,
21:13
Speaker 8: thirty years or so, to spend down the considerable public
21:18
Speaker 8: sympathy and indeed even admiration and love that existed for him.
21:23
Speaker 8: It's such a curious career. I hope at some point
21:28
Speaker 8: that he realizes what a mess he's made of all this,
21:33
Speaker 8: how incredibly actually unrewarding it is in every sense other
21:38
Speaker 8: than the financial sense, to spend your time doing this,
21:41
Speaker 8: that nobody wants it, nobody likes it, and that the
21:46
Speaker 8: other life he could have had, the one that he
21:49
Speaker 8: was actually born to have is the life he should
21:53
Speaker 8: be leading, and it would be one in which he
21:54
Speaker 8: could find meaning and purpose. He could be raising funds
21:58
Speaker 8: for charities to do with the armed forces in which
22:01
Speaker 8: he served. He could be addressing questions of you know,
22:05
Speaker 8: how better we look after soldiers after they returned from conflict,
22:09
Speaker 8: for instance. There's all sorts of really useful things he
22:13
Speaker 8: could be doing, but just think about it.
22:15
Speaker 10: There.
22:15
Speaker 8: Instead he is making some lame jokes, trying to be
22:20
Speaker 8: a lame comedian in a manner which, as I say,
22:23
Speaker 8: I just want to cover my eyes and ears when
22:26
Speaker 8: I see that footage.
22:29
Speaker 3: Oh same here, samey.
22:30
Speaker 4: I'm not a brit And even I was cringing internally
22:33
Speaker 4: and externally. I think if hit the nail on the head,
22:37
Speaker 4: he's lacking purpose and I think it shows he seems lost,
22:42
Speaker 4: he seems unhappy, and it is such a full from grace.
22:45
Speaker 4: He was the most popular royal after the Queen for
22:50
Speaker 4: the longest time before Meghan came along. Douglas Murray, thank
22:53
Speaker 4: you so much for your time tonight.
22:55
Speaker 8: Great pleasure as always, thank you.
22:58
Speaker 4: Coming up Lefties Losing It and Erica Kirk addresses conspiracy
23:03
Speaker 4: theories about her husband Charlie's murderm Horowitz is up next.
23:20
Speaker 3: Welcome back. It's time for lefties losing it.
23:23
Speaker 4: You know, I suspect the White House, or at least
23:26
Speaker 4: it's social media team.
23:27
Speaker 3: Maybe watching the Rita Paney Show, we did.
23:29
Speaker 4: A little segment featuring Christmas decorations under the Biden White
23:34
Speaker 4: House compared to Milania's work this year. And what do
23:37
Speaker 4: you know, the White House has just released this very
23:40
Speaker 4: droll before and after video Christmas.
23:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, that ain't gonna work.
23:56
Speaker 9: I mean, when should I really eve a start.
24:01
Speaker 4: It's becoming increasingly difficult to separate reality from parody when
24:06
Speaker 4: it comes to left is losing it. If you told
24:09
Speaker 4: me there was a production about a transgender woman with
24:12
Speaker 4: a passion for coal mining who has to fight the
24:15
Speaker 4: patriarchy and entrenched gender norms to succeed, I would have thought, well,
24:20
Speaker 4: you were talking about some sort of Saturday Night Live skit.
24:23
Speaker 4: But it's real and it's on Netflix. This is the
24:27
Speaker 4: Queen of Coal. Really, it's always spent my dream.
24:34
Speaker 3: To work in the mind Marie's burns on the ground.
24:37
Speaker 8: It's do you.
24:41
Speaker 10: Feel safe in that work environment?
24:44
Speaker 3: I need a job, not friends to them, I'm just
24:54
Speaker 3: another guy.
24:55
Speaker 11: You're not a guy and you're.
24:56
Speaker 5: Not like that.
24:57
Speaker 1: If you say you're a woman now, then you'll have
25:00
Speaker 1: to do women's work. And you know this company assigns
25:05
Speaker 1: different jobs to win them.
25:08
Speaker 3: It's not there what they're doing to you.
25:15
Speaker 1: No one can take away what you've earned. Crimey you
25:18
Speaker 1: earned it, it's yours.
25:22
Speaker 3: I'm a minor, Violet, a minor.
25:25
Speaker 4: Look, I'm just thrilled that we have Netflix celebrating fossil fuels,
25:30
Speaker 4: the mining industry that keeps the lights on Bravo, though
25:33
Speaker 4: I do suspect there'll be some global warming narratives pushed
25:37
Speaker 4: in that production time to check in on the awful
25:41
Speaker 4: phenomenon that's affluent white female lefties or at the forefront
25:45
Speaker 4: of just about every terrible idea in America and throughout
25:49
Speaker 4: the West of the moment. And not only are they
25:51
Speaker 4: as a group comically clueless, but their race obsessions make
25:55
Speaker 4: them utterly insufferable as well.
25:59
Speaker 9: I'm going to be honest, I don't feel good about
26:00
Speaker 9: being white every day for a lot of reasons. Because
26:04
Speaker 9: it's a point of privilege that I get to move
26:07
Speaker 9: through the world in a way that so many of
26:09
Speaker 9: my other colleagues and friends and family members of the
26:13
Speaker 9: community don't get the privilege to do I'm and I'm
26:17
Speaker 9: just a female, but just a woman, just a white woman.
26:20
Speaker 9: If I was a white man, I would be functioning
26:23
Speaker 9: from a point of even greater privilege.
26:26
Speaker 4: That's Democrat Sarah Stolka from the great State of Kentucky,
26:30
Speaker 4: and she's not satisfied with feeling bad about being watched herself.
26:35
Speaker 4: She wants your kids to feel the same way.
26:37
Speaker 3: This is just gross.
26:40
Speaker 9: When kids have a moment to reflect about how the
26:44
Speaker 9: color of their skin does and does not allow them
26:48
Speaker 9: to move through the world, it's running running to them
26:52
Speaker 9: and trying to stifle that and trying to say you
26:55
Speaker 9: shouldn't feel bad. So we don't want to. We don't
26:57
Speaker 9: want to ever expose you to something that is going
26:59
Speaker 9: to make you have to pause and have maybe some
27:02
Speaker 9: internal feelings. It's a missed opportunity for some really good dialogue.
27:07
Speaker 4: I'm gonna play you a video now that could double
27:09
Speaker 4: as an ad for homeschooling. This is what six great
27:13
Speaker 4: students in Maryland were exposed to.
27:17
Speaker 3: It's all about how to be non binary height.
27:20
Speaker 12: We were actually talking about tips for being non binary.
27:23
Speaker 12: If you feel like a label would be helpful for you,
27:25
Speaker 12: then go ahead and attach yourself to that label, but
27:28
Speaker 12: don't feel like you have to stick to it, and
27:30
Speaker 12: you're able to change.
27:31
Speaker 7: You can evolve.
27:32
Speaker 12: I have had that experience myself in my own journey.
27:35
Speaker 12: You know, I did identify as straight, even though I
27:37
Speaker 12: never really was identified as by for a minute, even
27:41
Speaker 12: though I actually was never by. And then I identified
27:44
Speaker 12: as a lesbian, which is probably the closest terminology for
27:46
Speaker 12: my sexuality because I like girls, and the non binary
27:50
Speaker 12: thing also came around in an odd way.
27:53
Speaker 4: And why stop there with a great advice, Why not
27:56
Speaker 4: tell confused girls how to bind their breast to hate
28:00
Speaker 4: their own bodies so much that they resort to painful binding.
28:05
Speaker 12: General advice about binding is make sure you're being safe
28:08
Speaker 12: about it. Don't be wearing a binder more than eight
28:10
Speaker 12: hours in a day, definitely not exercising. The reason why
28:14
Speaker 12: I personally don't really wear binders that much is because
28:16
Speaker 12: of breathing.
28:17
Speaker 10: It restricts your breathing.
28:19
Speaker 3: Restricts your breathing.
28:21
Speaker 4: But by all means still advise confused girls to do it.
28:25
Speaker 3: Just be safe about it. Restrict your breathing in a
28:28
Speaker 3: safe manner.
28:29
Speaker 4: And sticking with the excesses of the trans movement. Here
28:33
Speaker 4: is California Governor Gavin Newsom.
28:36
Speaker 11: We didn't get into transports. That's an issue no one
28:38
Speaker 11: wants to hear about because eighty percent of people listening
28:40
Speaker 11: disagree with my position on this. But it comes from
28:44
Speaker 11: my heart, not just my head. It wasn't a political evolution.
28:48
Speaker 11: It was position being that I don't think it's fair.
28:52
Speaker 11: I want to see trans kids. I have a trans godsign.
28:54
Speaker 11: There's no governor's sign more pro trans legislation than I have.
28:57
Speaker 11: And no one has been a stronger abvocate for the
28:59
Speaker 11: LGBK in you mintic.
29:00
Speaker 4: At least he knows that eighty percent of people disagree
29:03
Speaker 4: with him, one hundred percent of sane people. That's the
29:06
Speaker 4: current king clown ruling over California. And if you thought
29:10
Speaker 4: Gavin news was bad, just look at the Democrats looking
29:14
Speaker 4: to replace him, including this next woman, Betty Ye, who
29:18
Speaker 4: also can't see any issue with male bodies in female sport.
29:23
Speaker 10: They are now part of. I mean, they have been
29:26
Speaker 10: through a transition, the physical transition, and they do believe
29:29
Speaker 10: that they should be able to participate. I think there's
29:31
Speaker 10: a lot of information we need to learn about what's
29:33
Speaker 10: really happening with the ability of trans athletes to compete.
29:37
Speaker 10: But my statement is about being able to be sure
29:40
Speaker 10: that they can compete. And right now there's.
29:43
Speaker 5: More questions whether you think they should compete in women's
29:45
Speaker 5: sport and the Olympics because it's coming to LAS, it's relevant.
29:49
Speaker 10: I think transgender female athletes are women athletes and they
29:53
Speaker 10: should be able to.
29:54
Speaker 3: Really, there you go.
29:56
Speaker 4: Mediocre male athletes everywhere can look forward to gold medals
30:01
Speaker 4: in LA. Now this next clip is incredible, just the hysteria,
30:06
Speaker 4: the divorce from reality, the sense of entitlement. Watch this
30:11
Speaker 4: woman have a food blowing meltdown on behalf of a
30:14
Speaker 4: trans client who was misgendered by a law enforcement officer.
30:19
Speaker 2: Hey, TikTok, can you guys help me spam call the
30:22
Speaker 2: Man County Probation Office in Montingalia County, West Virginia for
30:26
Speaker 2: being transphobic as I took one of my clients today
30:30
Speaker 2: to the probation office and he is a trans mask
30:33
Speaker 2: individual and he went back to do a drug test
30:36
Speaker 2: and when he was back there, the front desk lady
30:43
Speaker 2: came out and said she'll be right out, and I
30:47
Speaker 2: politely said you know, he goes by heating pronouns and
30:52
Speaker 2: she looks at me and she says she has a vagina,
30:55
Speaker 2: so she's a girl. I was just like stunned, like
31:02
Speaker 2: I cannot believe that people are still saying this like
31:08
Speaker 2: on the job. And then they wonder why queer people
31:14
Speaker 2: and trans people are not showing up for promission, not
31:19
Speaker 2: showing up for day report, not showing up for drug
31:21
Speaker 2: court because they're misgendered and met with violent transphobia every
31:26
Speaker 2: stuff of the.
31:26
Speaker 4: Way, violence misgendering is now violence. And by misgendering, I
31:33
Speaker 4: mean stating biological realities. Imagine how privilege you must be
31:38
Speaker 4: to feel entitled to harass folks just doing their jobs
31:42
Speaker 4: because they didn't play along with your delusions. Joining me
31:46
Speaker 4: now is documentary filmmaker and commentator Army Horoiz.
31:50
Speaker 3: Army.
31:51
Speaker 4: There's plenty of drama around the sale of Warner Brothers.
31:54
Speaker 4: Discovery Paramount has made a hostile bit or ki Warner Brothers,
32:00
Speaker 4: and that's set up a furious bidding wall with Netflix
32:04
Speaker 4: for the media giant. And now Donald Trump has had
32:07
Speaker 4: his say. He's very interested in what happens to CNN.
32:12
Speaker 13: I just think that the people that have run CNN
32:15
Speaker 13: into the ground. By the way, nobody watches, very few
32:17
Speaker 13: people watch. I don't think they should be entrusted with
32:20
Speaker 13: running CNN any longer. So I think any deal should
32:25
Speaker 13: it should be guaranteed and certain that CNN is part
32:28
Speaker 13: of it or sold separately.
32:31
Speaker 3: Amy, what's your take on that.
32:35
Speaker 7: Yeah, there's a lot.
32:35
Speaker 14: Look, Hollywood and the news media is changing, obviously, you
32:40
Speaker 14: know this.
32:40
Speaker 7: I know this dramatically.
32:42
Speaker 14: This is a massive deal, both in terms of the
32:45
Speaker 14: direction of Hollywood going forward and direction and the control
32:49
Speaker 14: of the media, particularly.
32:50
Speaker 7: News as well.
32:51
Speaker 14: Right, Warner Brothers owns CNN, It owns a tremendous amount
32:55
Speaker 14: of cable channels, one of the largest, if not the
32:58
Speaker 14: largest studio in Hollywood, and there's a lot of consolidation
33:01
Speaker 14: going on. Netflix came out of nowhere to make this bit.
33:05
Speaker 14: It was crazy. People were shocked by it. And then
33:09
Speaker 14: of course you had David Ellison and sky Dan's who
33:12
Speaker 14: just consumed Paramount, coming in and going for a bit
33:16
Speaker 14: of Warner Brothers. So look, first of all, let's let's
33:20
Speaker 14: let's start with winners and losers. So for losers, Yeah,
33:25
Speaker 14: one of the major losers on this thing is gonna
33:27
Speaker 14: be Hollywood executives and the and the Hollywood elitist left
33:31
Speaker 14: who will lose a lot of jobs. Right, they're talking
33:34
Speaker 14: about six billion dollars of synergy. What does synergy mean?
33:37
Speaker 14: It means people are going to be out of work.
33:39
Speaker 14: I don't think that's such a bad thing, considering they
33:41
Speaker 14: are so aligned against the Republicans and Trump winner.
33:47
Speaker 7: Man, it looks like Barry Weiss might be cleaning up again.
33:50
Speaker 14: Barry Weiss, of course the Center, very center, a free
33:55
Speaker 14: press founder, former New York Times.
34:00
Speaker 7: Ed writer.
34:01
Speaker 14: She was brought in to be the CEO of CBS News,
34:04
Speaker 14: which was a massive win. And not for conservatives, but
34:07
Speaker 14: for for truth in the news, right, simply not something
34:12
Speaker 14: that's non biased is good for us. And that's what
34:14
Speaker 14: she is. She's not a conservative, she's not a liberal.
34:16
Speaker 14: She calls it, she sees it. Well, she may be
34:19
Speaker 14: knocking the door being in charge of CNN as well.
34:22
Speaker 14: I think that'd be great for freedom in media, right.
34:26
Speaker 14: And I think that also we have to take a
34:29
Speaker 14: look at the money that's being involved in this thing. Right,
34:33
Speaker 14: you have Netflix between net think look the major By
34:37
Speaker 14: the way, it's also great for consumers because Netflix and
34:41
Speaker 14: Amazon control twenty percent of all streaming views. And as
34:44
Speaker 14: we know, streaming is where everything is moved to, if
34:46
Speaker 14: not has already moved to. So moving all of it
34:48
Speaker 14: to and now I think between the combined Paramount and
34:54
Speaker 14: Warner Brothers, you're gonna see more streaming competition happen. So
34:59
Speaker 14: and and look the money being spent between those that
35:02
Speaker 14: those be Hamdmoff's Prime Video, Slash, Amazon and and Serrandos
35:07
Speaker 14: and Netflix. They gave over over ten million dollars to
35:11
Speaker 14: Kamala Harris. So again, I think anything that stems that power,
35:14
Speaker 14: that Hollywood liberal power, I think is.
35:16
Speaker 7: A good thing in terms of what we should be
35:18
Speaker 7: worrying about.
35:19
Speaker 14: Look, I don't like that Trump is, you know, putting
35:21
Speaker 14: his finger on the scale. I don't think that's helpful
35:24
Speaker 14: to a deal like this. I don't think he needs
35:26
Speaker 14: to talk about CNN. We all know the issues there.
35:28
Speaker 14: And the other worrying thing slightly is there's a lot
35:31
Speaker 14: of golf money involved with David Ellison and sky Dance
35:35
Speaker 14: particularly there's there's six billion dollars coming for the Qataris.
35:39
Speaker 7: I never love that.
35:41
Speaker 14: So look that that's where I stand this thing overall,
35:44
Speaker 14: as far as I go, Yeah, I'm on team Dan Ellison,
35:46
Speaker 14: I'm on team Paramount, team Skydance. I definitely am not
35:50
Speaker 14: rooting for Netflix.
35:51
Speaker 7: On this thing now.
35:53
Speaker 4: Ami, the widow of Charlie Kirk Erica, has spoken out
35:57
Speaker 4: about the many conspiracy theoriesing his murder.
36:01
Speaker 3: She had this to say on Fox News.
36:04
Speaker 15: Come after me, call me names, I don't care, call
36:07
Speaker 15: me what you want, go down that rabbit hole whatever.
36:11
Speaker 15: But when you go after my family, my turning point,
36:15
Speaker 15: USA family, my Charlie Kirkshaw family, When you go after
36:17
Speaker 15: the people that I love, and you're making hundreds and
36:21
Speaker 15: thousands of dollars every single episode going after the people
36:27
Speaker 15: that I love because somehow they're in on this. This
36:31
Speaker 15: is not okay. It's not healthy. This is a mind virus, Amie.
36:36
Speaker 4: You've got the people who have no trust in the FBI,
36:40
Speaker 4: even though it's Cash Bettel's FBI these days, who are
36:45
Speaker 4: looking at all sorts of different theories about what happened there.
36:49
Speaker 4: But Erica Kirk is also receiving vicious attacks from the left.
36:54
Speaker 3: She has been the target of.
36:55
Speaker 4: Vicious abuse as soon as she made the first statement
36:59
Speaker 4: after Hersman's assassination, and among those leading the charge is
37:04
Speaker 4: Jennifer Welch. Here is her latest commentary on Erica Kirk.
37:09
Speaker 16: This woman should be kicked to the curb. She is
37:12
Speaker 16: an absolute grifter, just like Donald Trump and just like
37:16
Speaker 16: her unrepentant, racist, homophobic husband was Ami.
37:21
Speaker 3: What's your response.
37:22
Speaker 7: To all that? Yeah, it never ends again.
37:26
Speaker 14: Look, this is gonna be this segment's can be on
37:29
Speaker 14: the convergence of left and right.
37:30
Speaker 7: Because you see his vicious attacks with both the hard
37:33
Speaker 7: left and the hard right.
37:36
Speaker 14: The despicable Candace Owens of course leading the charge like
37:40
Speaker 14: she has on so many different bizarre anti Semitic conspiracy theories,
37:44
Speaker 14: anti anti US conspiracy theories.
37:47
Speaker 7: Yeah.
37:47
Speaker 14: Look, she blames Charlie kirk'sassination on prominent Jews, on pro
37:52
Speaker 14: Israel movement, on the military, on Macarone. He's got this
37:55
Speaker 14: weird fascination with Macron and his wife. I really don't
37:59
Speaker 14: fully understand it, to be honest with you. And this
38:02
Speaker 14: is really becoming a litmus test on the right, Okay,
38:04
Speaker 14: the people who are who are fueling these conspiracy theories
38:08
Speaker 14: on the hard right. You know, Look, Tucker Carlson, he
38:12
Speaker 14: gave what I thought was a horrific speech at Charlie
38:15
Speaker 14: Kirk's memorial.
38:16
Speaker 7: You were there.
38:17
Speaker 14: I was there talking about Jesus and really kind of
38:20
Speaker 14: referencing the Jews killing Jesus and they're involvement possibly in
38:24
Speaker 14: this killing as well. Yeah, it's really problematic, and it's
38:28
Speaker 14: from the right and the left. And the other thing
38:30
Speaker 14: the right and the left for sharing is a distrust
38:32
Speaker 14: and institutions, and particularly the FBI. And you said, look,
38:36
Speaker 14: Cash Bartel is a good dude. Cash Hotael's a trust
38:39
Speaker 14: with a dur a transparent dude. A lot of people
38:41
Speaker 14: in the FBI have been moved there who I know personally,
38:44
Speaker 14: who I think are wonderful people. I think they're trying
38:46
Speaker 14: to be as open transparent as they possibly can.
38:48
Speaker 10: Right.
38:49
Speaker 14: Obviously, there's there's an ongoing UH investigation and there's gonna
38:52
Speaker 14: be ongoing core case on this, and they can't be
38:55
Speaker 14: fully open everything.
38:56
Speaker 7: But I think they're trying to be as as much
38:58
Speaker 7: they can.
38:59
Speaker 14: But again, it's this lea fascinating convergence between the conspiracy
39:03
Speaker 14: theories the left and the right, and they center around
39:05
Speaker 14: distrust institutions.
39:07
Speaker 7: There's an iota of truth there.
39:09
Speaker 14: Right, because there's been decades of mismanagement and failures among
39:13
Speaker 14: our institutions, the FBI, the IRS, the State Department, and
39:17
Speaker 14: I see where they're coming from, this whole deep state thing,
39:19
Speaker 14: and there's some.
39:19
Speaker 7: Truth to that.
39:21
Speaker 14: But when you control Look, but when you control the
39:24
Speaker 14: levers of government, and when the right, when the right
39:26
Speaker 14: was complaining about the institutions on the left, I get it.
39:29
Speaker 7: But when the right controls these levers and.
39:31
Speaker 14: You're still pushing these conspiracy theories, it really is an
39:35
Speaker 14: underlying issue of something far more problematic than just that
39:39
Speaker 14: and the politics of it.
39:40
Speaker 7: So I think this is very worrying. You know.
39:42
Speaker 14: Look, republics fall when you don't trust the institutions holding
39:46
Speaker 14: them up right, when you hollow those out, that's when
39:48
Speaker 14: countries fail.
39:50
Speaker 7: So I am very very worried about it.
39:52
Speaker 14: And this Charlie kirk Thing Erica kirk Thing is a
39:55
Speaker 14: litmus test, I think for a larger problem.
39:58
Speaker 3: Amy Harwitz, thank you so much of her time tonight.
40:01
Speaker 3: Where's your pleasure still to come?
40:04
Speaker 4: Why Meghan markl is making such a show of contacting
40:08
Speaker 4: her estranged father. Kinsey Schofield has a theory.
40:23
Speaker 3: Welcome back joining me now.
40:24
Speaker 4: Celebrity and royal commentator Kinsey Schofield Kinsey, We're going to
40:28
Speaker 4: get the Meghan Markles story out of the way first,
40:31
Speaker 4: because we've got some political commentary from Hollywood to dive into,
40:35
Speaker 4: and some of it is surprising. But Meghan Markle has
40:38
Speaker 4: finally sent a letter to her father, Thomas, who is
40:42
Speaker 4: recovering in a hospital in the Philippines. Meghan sent the
40:46
Speaker 4: letter through reliable and trusted contacts and it is said
40:50
Speaker 4: to now be safely in her father's hands. But Kinsey,
40:55
Speaker 4: why send something through the mail. It's been clear for
41:00
Speaker 4: some time that Thomas wants to reestablish contact with his daughter,
41:03
Speaker 4: he wants to meet his grandchildren.
41:06
Speaker 17: I mean, it's one step up from an email. I
41:09
Speaker 17: guess if my father was having multiple emergency surgeries and
41:13
Speaker 17: losing limbs, I wouldn't be sending a homing pigeon instead
41:16
Speaker 17: of picking up the phone or FaceTime and calling him.
41:20
Speaker 17: Just just make a phone call Megan. And how are
41:22
Speaker 17: we supposed to take Kerry and Meghan seriously going forward
41:25
Speaker 17: when they're at Invictus cheesing it up and smiling and
41:28
Speaker 17: posing up a storm with these wounded veterans for photographers,
41:32
Speaker 17: when they can't even pick up the phone to call
41:34
Speaker 17: Megan Markle's father. You know, it tells us that this
41:37
Speaker 17: is all for PR.
41:40
Speaker 3: I think you are one hundred percent right there.
41:42
Speaker 4: This is a PR exercise. Now, Amanda Saferee, she's an actress.
41:48
Speaker 4: I don't know if many of our audience would be
41:50
Speaker 4: familiar with her work, but she's refused to apologize for
41:53
Speaker 4: calling Charlie Kirk hateful. In fact, the actress has doubled down,
41:58
Speaker 4: telling Who What Where that I said something that was
42:02
Speaker 4: based on actual reality and actual footage and actual quotes.
42:07
Speaker 4: What i said was pretty damn factual, and I'm free
42:10
Speaker 4: to have an opinion, of course, except Kinsey. She seems
42:14
Speaker 4: to think that Charlie's opinions were hateful, and I can
42:17
Speaker 4: almost guarantee that there is a large gap between what
42:22
Speaker 4: this woman thinks she knows and what the reality is.
42:27
Speaker 17: Yea, And in her initial Instagram post, she alluded to
42:30
Speaker 17: the fact that Charlie brought this on himself, his murder
42:34
Speaker 17: on himself. No one deserves to die for their opinions.
42:37
Speaker 17: We can all look like monsters when we're taken out
42:40
Speaker 17: of context. And She's been in the media long enough
42:43
Speaker 17: to know that Amanda does have a right to her
42:45
Speaker 17: own opinion. But she risks alienating half the country when
42:48
Speaker 17: she doubles down like this. Charlie's children are without a
42:51
Speaker 17: father today, how would that make her feel? She has children?
42:55
Speaker 17: There is no excuse for that, and her comments aren't helpful.
43:00
Speaker 4: And she justified what she said by saying it's my opinion.
43:04
Speaker 4: She's entitled to that opinion. But then she seems to
43:07
Speaker 4: think other people have brought on an assassination by stating
43:12
Speaker 4: their opinion. And if you think Charlie Kirk is hateful,
43:15
Speaker 4: the joyful warrior that he was, who was so polite
43:18
Speaker 4: and so kind even in the most robust debates he had,
43:22
Speaker 4: I mean, really, you are existing in a parallel universe. Now,
43:27
Speaker 4: this wouldn't have happened a few years ago, Kinsey. We've
43:29
Speaker 4: got more actors coming out and endorsing Donald Trump. Have
43:34
Speaker 4: a listened to Kelsey Grammer, the man behind Frasier. He
43:38
Speaker 4: had a little jab at the Democrats expense and then
43:43
Speaker 4: praise Donald Trump.
43:45
Speaker 12: I always love us.
43:46
Speaker 14: When the Democrats start talking about affordability, you always know
43:48
Speaker 14: they're going to charge you twice as much, three times
43:52
Speaker 14: as much, Kinsey.
43:54
Speaker 4: He went on to say some very complimentary things about
43:57
Speaker 4: the President and We had Sylvester Stallone earlier in the
43:59
Speaker 4: World Week also making some very positive comments.
44:04
Speaker 17: You know what, the UK is rapidly growing global production wise.
44:09
Speaker 17: It's stolen so much business from Hollywood and it's taken
44:13
Speaker 17: a significant amount of work away from La Home alone twos.
44:17
Speaker 17: Donald Trump does love and appreciate Hollywood and wants them
44:20
Speaker 17: to get back to work. You know, it's our politics
44:23
Speaker 17: that have really put a lot of these actors and
44:25
Speaker 17: actresses out of work, Thank you, Governor Gavin Newsom. Trump's
44:29
Speaker 17: even reportedly pushed Paramount to green light Rush Hour four.
44:32
Speaker 17: Maybe we'll hear more stars that miss when America dominated
44:37
Speaker 17: the TV and movie industry speak out in support of
44:40
Speaker 17: the president. I don't know.
44:43
Speaker 4: Yeah, it's fascinating because there definitely is a bit of
44:46
Speaker 4: a cultural shift. These are just comments that wouldn't have
44:50
Speaker 4: been made four years ago, or even during that first term.
44:55
Speaker 4: Now to Gwen Stefani, the singer songwriter, she's been under
45:01
Speaker 4: attack for partnering with a prayer app that is not
45:05
Speaker 4: pro abortion.
45:06
Speaker 3: Who could have thought that a prayer app would not
45:08
Speaker 3: be pro abortion?
45:09
Speaker 4: Kinzie, She's a Christian woman. Is she expected to endorse
45:14
Speaker 4: pro abortion apps?
45:15
Speaker 1: What's the issue here exactly.
45:17
Speaker 17: Gwen Stefani doesn't even endorse anything but prayer and meditation
45:21
Speaker 17: throughout these social media posts. Jack Nicholson is pro life,
45:25
Speaker 17: Kelsey Grammer, who we just spoke about, Justin Bieber, and
45:28
Speaker 17: none of those people have ever shoved that opinion down
45:31
Speaker 17: our throats like the other side. At Christmas, we celebrate
45:34
Speaker 17: a baby sent to save us. That's the reason for
45:38
Speaker 17: the season. So why should personal faith be treated like
45:41
Speaker 17: a controversy.
45:44
Speaker 3: Now, let's talk about the MET Gala.
45:46
Speaker 4: Beyonce, Nicole Kidman, and Venus Williams have been unveiled as
45:51
Speaker 4: the co chairs for the twenty twenty six Met Gala.
45:55
Speaker 4: The three stars have been tapped to work with industry
45:59
Speaker 4: icon app A Winter on next year's event, and Kinsey.
46:03
Speaker 4: The theme is going to be costume art and a
46:07
Speaker 4: celebration between the intersection of the human body and art.
46:12
Speaker 3: It sounds terribly pretentious, already.
46:16
Speaker 17: Sounds a little slutty, you know. Nicole Kidman, I'm going
46:19
Speaker 17: to say a standout star here. We love Nicole Kidman,
46:22
Speaker 17: but I feel like the MET has taken such a
46:25
Speaker 17: deep decline. And let me just predict right here on
46:29
Speaker 17: your show, this is the first time I'm saying this.
46:31
Speaker 17: Megan Markle has been trying to make nice with Vogue
46:35
Speaker 17: for favorable coverage and to secure a ticket to the
46:37
Speaker 17: Met Gala with Beyonce on board. That's a realistic option
46:41
Speaker 17: for her. Once the Met Gala goes rent a Prince
46:45
Speaker 17: and Jam influencer, it becomes completely irrelevant. The Met dumpster
46:50
Speaker 17: fire more like it.
46:53
Speaker 3: Surely she can get a ticket to that. I mean,
46:55
Speaker 3: everyone seems to be getting a ticket these days. I
46:58
Speaker 3: don't think that's going to be much of a coup
47:00
Speaker 3: for her.
47:01
Speaker 4: Laura Sanchez Bezos is going to be the lead sponsor
47:05
Speaker 4: of the twenty twenty six Medgala. I guess you can
47:08
Speaker 4: do that after you marry one of the richest men
47:11
Speaker 4: in the world. But has the whole thing kind of
47:15
Speaker 4: lost its luster already?
47:18
Speaker 17: It has, I mean, the ultimate objective originally was to
47:23
Speaker 17: secure some America's fiercest art dealers and art connoisseurs, and
47:29
Speaker 17: it's now just full of influencers, tik talkers, and Kardashians,
47:33
Speaker 17: So it has It's not what it once was, but
47:37
Speaker 17: it does seem to be taking an even steeper decline lately.
47:41
Speaker 17: You know, you don't see even Katoure. It just feels
47:44
Speaker 17: like a costume silly costume contest.
47:49
Speaker 4: I think it jumped the shark when AOC attended. Remember,
47:53
Speaker 4: I think she had tax the Reach or something like
47:55
Speaker 4: that on her dress. So I think, right then and
47:59
Speaker 4: there the met Gala completely lost its luster, dropped the shark,
48:03
Speaker 4: and we really couldn't care less. Though every now and
48:06
Speaker 4: then there's an outfit that is stunning. Kinsisco Field, we
48:12
Speaker 4: always appreciate you. Thank you so much for your time tonight,
48:15
Speaker 4: and that's all the time we have.
48:18
Speaker 3: I'll see you tomorrow night.
48:19
Speaker 4: For lefties losing it at nine pm, don't go anywhere.
48:23
Speaker 3: Newsnight is up next
