- 0:00Welcome to this special update. Today we are
- 0:03highlighting a major digital transformation milestone
- 0:06at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority. Dubai
- 0:10Electricity and Water Authority has deployed
- 0:13agentic artificial intelligence across its digital
- 0:17platforms and is now among the first utilities
- 0:20globally to implement the technology at an advanced,
- 0:23production -ready level. The deployment spans
- 0:26Dubai Electricity and Water Authority's website,
- 0:30smart app, smart office employee app, dashboards,
- 0:34and internal platforms. The first phase focuses
- 0:38on service design, customer digital experience,
- 0:41quality monitoring, and the testing center of
- 0:44excellence. In practical terms, Dubai Electricity
- 0:48and Water Authority is moving agentic AI from
- 0:52concept into live operational use. His Excellency
- 0:56Saeed Mohammed Al -Tayyar, Managing Director
- 0:59and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Electricity
- 1:03and Water Authority, said, In line with the vision
- 1:07and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed
- 1:09bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime
- 1:13Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to consolidate
- 1:17Dubai's leadership in artificial intelligence
- 1:20and future technologies, we continue to deploy
- 1:23the latest AI applications across our digital
- 1:26and operational ecosystem. This supports Dubai
- 1:30Electricity and Water Authority's transformation
- 1:33into a world -class utility, with AI as a core
- 1:38component of its operational and service infrastructure.
- 1:41This strategic step marks a significant milestone
- 1:45in redefining government services in the AI era,
- 1:49shifting from traditional digital interaction
- 1:51models to an integrated service ecosystem connected
- 1:55to global AI platforms. This enhances efficiency,
- 2:00accelerates service delivery, and improves the
- 2:03quality of digital experiences for customers
- 2:05and stakeholders." Altair also added that Dubai
- 2:11Electricity and Water Authority continues to
- 2:14expand these technologies in line with the highest
- 2:17standards of governance, security, and privacy,
- 2:20supporting the objectives of the UAE Strategy
- 2:23for Artificial Intelligence 2031 and UAE Centennial
- 2:282071. Another key point is proactive readiness.
- 2:34Dubai Electricity and Water Authority established
- 2:37the technological and digital infrastructure
- 2:40for this transformation at an early stage, enabling
- 2:43rapid activation of agentic AI across priority
- 2:48platforms. Dubai Electricity and Water Authority
- 2:52is also the first government entity in the UAE
- 2:55to adopt Microsoft Co -Pilot Co -Work within
- 2:58the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The impact is already
- 3:03measurable. Across customer experience and digital
- 3:07development, AI agents help designers, front
- 3:10-end AI engineers and developers generate components,
- 3:15maintain consistency, and identify deviations
- 3:18from approved standards. This has improved design
- 3:22consistency across platforms by around 80%. Dubai
- 3:27Electricity and Water Authority's AI -powered
- 3:30virtual assistant Ramas, launched in 2017 and
- 3:35now using GPT -4 .0, released in February 2025,
- 3:39has handled more than 13 million inquiries since
- 3:43launch through mid -June 2026. At the Testing
- 3:48Center of Excellence, AI agents generate test
- 3:51plans, test cases, and requirement traceability
- 3:54matrices, while also automating execution and
- 3:58reporting. This has improved digital test verification
- 4:02efficiency by approximately 85 % and enhanced
- 4:06the quality of digital channels by up to 93%.
- 4:10In short, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority
- 4:14is not just exploring agentic AI. It is already
- 4:19applying it across services, operations, and
- 4:22testing within a unified and secure digital ecosystem,
- 4:27reinforcing Dubai's leadership in practical government
- 4:30AI deployment. Thanks for listening.
