Three Firefighters Lost in Colorado Blaze | Birmingham News
Three wildland firefighters lost their lives battling the Knowles Fire in western Colorado, including 27-year-old Sydney Watson from Alabama, along with Emily Barker from Michigan and Nick Hutcherson from Arizona. Two others were injured. The fire, now part of the larger Snyder Fire, has scorched over 28,000 acres near the Colorado-Utah border.
