Enshittification and You
Everything gets worse — and somehow costs more.
In this episode, I look at the slow enshittification of everyday life: subscriptions for features we already bought, self-checkout without a discount, apps that make simple tasks harder, disappearing ownership, locked-down products, blackouts, fees, and the steady replacement of service with inconvenience.
None of these changes feel revolutionary on their own. That’s the point.
Enshittification happens one small compromise at a time — until the worse version becomes normal.
