- 0:07Speaker 1: The Traders, boy, that was a good show last night.
- 0:10Speaker 1: And they're giving us $ 250 to give away, which is
- 0:13Speaker 1: pretty awesome. We've got Lori on the line. Lori, did
- 0:15Speaker 1: you watch it?
- 0:17Speaker 2: I did. Oh, I'm so excited to be talking to you.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I'm so excited. You know, I think, Nick, you're the
- 0:22Speaker 1: only one on the show besides me that loves Traders. Oh,
- 0:24Speaker 1: my God. I love it so much. And I think
- 0:28Speaker 1: the thing I love most about the Traders is just
- 0:31Speaker 1: how seriously Alan takes it. Yeah. Or how not seriously
- 0:36Speaker 1: he takes it. But he is drama.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:37Speaker 1: No, he is the most drama. It's fantastic. Okay. So
- 0:41Speaker 1: here we go, Lori. Your chance at $ 250. Are you ready? Yes,
- 0:44Speaker 1: I am ready. The Traders' new Blood premiered last night.
- 0:47Speaker 1: New episodes are every Thursday at 7, only on NBC12 News.
- 0:50Speaker 1: And you can stream it the next day on Peacock. Lori,
- 0:54Speaker 1: how many traders did Alan pick in last night's premiere episode?
- 0:58Speaker 2: The answer is two.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Oh, you're good. Let's go. There you go. All right. Ding, ding, ding.
- 1:10Speaker 1: There you go. Congratulations. You just won 250 bucks from
- 1:12Speaker 1: the traders. New blood. Don't miss the treachery and deceit
- 1:16Speaker 1: as host Alan Cumming opens up his castle doors to
- 1:20Speaker 1: everyday Americans every Thursday at seven only on the NBC
- 1:23Speaker 1: 12 News and stream it the next day on Peacock.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I love you.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Hang on, Lori. Kyle, what do we need to know today?
- 1:32Speaker 2: Flying could be about to get a lot less annoying. So,
- 1:35Speaker 2: you know, when your flight gets delayed and it kind
- 1:36Speaker 2: of feels like everything just snowballs from there. The FAA
- 1:40Speaker 2: is actually rolling out a new AI powered system they
- 1:42Speaker 2: call smart. And apparently it can look at like weather
- 1:46Speaker 2: packed airports, flight schedules and crowded airspace.
- 1:48Speaker 1: All at once.
- 1:50Speaker 2: In hopes that eventually it can keep one problem from
- 1:52Speaker 2: turning into a whole day of delays. Meanwhile, Costco is
- 1:56Speaker 2: massively expanding how you can get stuff delivered. DoorDash is
- 2:00Speaker 2: beginning delivery from every Costco location in the United States,
- 2:03Speaker 2: and Uber is expanding Costco delivery to 47 states, which
- 2:07Speaker 2: is a pretty major shift for a company that historically
- 2:10Speaker 2: made us physically walk through the warehouse and somehow leave
- 2:13Speaker 2: $ 300 poorer than you actually intended. The finalists for the
- 2:17Speaker 2: National Toy Hall of Fame are out. And this year,
- 2:21Speaker 2: Pokemon cards are somehow battling Tickle Me Elmo, Bingo, and
- 2:25Speaker 2: The Slide. So there's 12 finalists total. And we can
- 2:28Speaker 2: actually all vote through September 23rd on the toys that
- 2:31Speaker 2: actually make it into the Hall of Fame.
- 2:33Speaker 1: That'll be announced in November. So this is really cool.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Arizona Restaurant Week actually starts today through September 27th. If
- 2:41Speaker 2: you're a foodie or you just want to kind of
- 2:43Speaker 2: like try a bunch of new places, there are a
- 2:45Speaker 2: lot of restaurants around the valley that participate. New participants
- 2:48Speaker 2: this time include Nobu Scottsdale, Virtue Honest Craft, Culinary Gangster
- 2:52Speaker 2: in Tempe and Hot and Juicy Crawfish. It is basically
- 2:55Speaker 2: where all these restaurants offer a special prefixed menus. And
- 2:59Speaker 2: it's just kind of cool to see all the great
- 3:01Speaker 2: food we've got in our own backyard.
- 3:03Speaker 1: And that's what you need to know.
