- 5:37May this be a day of breakthrough and impartation for you in Jesus' name.
- 5:41And I did tell Ryan's wife that I would pray for him today because I guess he's
- 5:46in the hospital with his back or something, pinched nerve thing.
- 5:49So let's pray. Father, I thank you so much for Ryan Edberg and that you heal
- 5:53his back in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, who is calling me.
- 5:57I thank you so much, God, that you help him and you touch his back right now.
- 6:01We declare healing from the top of his head to the soles of his feet.
- 6:04And we thank you for doing it. Amen. If you agree, y'all just say amen. All right.
- 6:08There you have it. Hey, Carla. So I wanted to share with you some things on
- 6:12my heart. Number one, be praying for me, please, because this thing's coming
- 6:15up and I have a lot of things I still need to take care of. Let me talk to you
- 6:18about this money miracle and then we'll get right into my teaching.
- 6:21So I have this friend in Vegas and, you know, she struggles with a certain particular
- 6:25group of people and she knew I was going out to Michigan to hopefully intentionally
- 6:29minister to these people.
- 6:30And so she got it in her head that if she sowed a financial seed to Michigan
- 6:35Fest, that it would be like her saying to God, God,
- 6:39I don't love these people, but I'm going to try to love them by sending Lisa
- 6:43to, hey, Holly, by sending Lisa to minister to them.
- 6:46That was her heart, to be honest. If she was on here, she'd tell you that.
- 6:50And so she gave two times, two times.
- 6:55She just gave another time yesterday, but she gave two times specifically to this outreach.
- 6:59So anyway, she had apparently some back pay due her, I don't know,
- 7:04through the state or whatever it was.
- 7:05So right after she gives, she gets a check for, it's insane.
- 7:11And not to be rude to her, but she didn't give anywhere near this amount.
- 7:14So, I mean, the Bible says when you give, God will give back,
- 7:17good measure, press down, shake it together, run it over.
- 7:19So she gets a check for $11,000.
- 7:23That's pretty good. So then apparently her mom had been in a car wreck, I think.
- 7:28And so the money had been tied up for a year and like three months.
- 7:32They didn't, the money was just held up.
- 7:34And so all of a sudden she's outside and she said, it just came to her that I was mad.
- 7:38I was sick of that money being tied up. She goes, so I just said, oh no, you don't.
- 7:42I command that money come into my hands in Jesus name. You're going to release
- 7:45that check, blah, blah, whatever. So I think it was either the next day or a
- 7:48couple of days later, I don't have to ask her. Anyway, $38,000 gets released like that.
- 7:54So she gives twice, 11 grand comes and then 38. That's where I got the,
- 7:59what is that? My math isn't all that good. 38, 49. That's where I got the $49,000
- 8:03miracle right there. Isn't that, I'm telling you.
- 8:06And I know you might be watching going, well, mine didn't come.
- 8:11It doesn't matter. Just thank God. Just be happy for somebody and then say me
- 8:17next. Let me teach you something in life. Okay.
- 8:20If I rolled up, I'm not gonna, but if I rolled up in a Rolls Royce,
- 8:23don't you be cutting your eyes at me. Just go me to God.
- 8:27Don't be jealous. Look, I just saw this preacher and he's like,
- 8:30someone gave me $10,000. It's like, Lord, I've been preaching forever.
- 8:33No one handed me 10 grand.
- 8:34You know, I was tempted to say that, but I'm like, eh, doesn't matter.
- 8:37I was like, so I said, Oh God, I just thank you for the givers.
- 8:41I have. I thank you that people are given to this revival.
- 8:44God, I thank you. Souls will be saved. and I'm just going to get happy.
- 8:46And there's a, Hey, welcome all you guys.
- 8:48Please tell me where you're watching from. I'd love to know where you're watching
- 8:51from city, state country, all the stuff.
- 8:54Let me give you a shout out wherever you're watching from. I love y'all.
- 8:57So I just had to tell you about that miracle, but if yours didn't come yet,
- 9:01you know, just, just say to God, just say, okay, God, I thank you that, um, that's what it was.
- 9:07I thank you, God, that mine's next God. You're doing something for me too.
- 9:11You're doing something great for me in Jesus name. And he is,
- 9:14because God is no respecter of persons. Hang on, I'm going to write this email real quick.
- 9:19Okay. Speak amongst yourselves.
- 9:24Sorry, this email bounced back and I got to redo it.
- 9:28There we go. Okay. All right. Virginia. Awesome. Hey, Diana.
- 9:35So, so I just want to share that with you. So be encouraged.
- 9:38If you sowed financial seed, God is going to multiply it back to you.
- 9:41He gives back to the giver. Good measure, press down. She's going to get a run
- 9:44over. So, all right. You ready for this today?
- 9:47I think, oh wait, you don't need my face over here on the left, do you? No, you don't.
- 9:51I think that this is a, I love my little zebra stripes. I won't keep it on the whole time.
- 9:57I think this is a good message for you because a lot of people are struggling,
- 10:00and you're struggling to forgive because people sometimes are crappy.
- 10:04Come on, everyone. Anyone ever met a crappy person?
- 10:08No, everyone I know is nice. People can be crappy, all right?
- 10:11They're just crappy sometimes, and it is what it is. So I want to talk to you
- 10:15about how do you forgive crappy people?
- 10:18How do you like that for a title of the message? Here's how you forgive people
- 10:21that are... Why is it doing that?
- 10:23I want that. Hold on. Oh, goodness, y'all.
- 10:28See, now I can't get my zebra stripes off.
- 10:34Give me a minute to get my zebra stripes off. Hold on. Okay. Is this it?
- 10:41There we go. All right. Y'all don't want to see zebra stripes the whole time,
- 10:43do you? I don't think so. Okay. Who's ready? You ready? Say please,
- 10:47Lisa, for the love. Get on with it. Okay.
- 10:49I want to talk to you about forgiveness is freedom. One of the greatest things
- 10:53you can do to live in victory is to forgive.
- 10:56So there's so many people. They've been hurt by people. We got whole messages
- 11:00about church hurt and whatever. And I'm going to show you some stuff today where
- 11:03you just got to be like, Elsa, let it go, let it go.
- 11:06So people will disappoint you.
- 11:09You know, I keep being surprised when people do stuff. Sometimes I'm like,
- 11:16freaking, I never thought that person would.
- 11:19But Chad's not surprised. Chad's always like, babe, people just do weird crap.
- 11:23That's what he tells me. That's my husband. You don't know who that is.
- 11:26He's like, babe, people just do weird stuff. Just expect people to not do what
- 11:29you think they're going to do. And that's hard, you know, because you really
- 11:31expect people to be better and do better, but they don't.
- 11:34So what are you going to do about it? Well, you're going to forgive people.
- 11:36So people will disappoint you. They're going to misunderstand you.
- 11:39That's part of life. Someone will say something they shouldn't have said.
- 11:43Somebody might betray you. So the question is, what do you do with the hurt?
- 11:47The question is not if you ever get hurt, because my friend,
- 11:50if you walk on this earth, if you got friends, if you know people,
- 11:54if you talk to anybody, you're going to get hurt.
- 11:57They're going to be rude, mean, all the stuff. And so, you know,
- 12:01we talked about Dolly Parton yesterday. If you missed that message,
- 12:03go look at it. But, you know, I was really impressed with the fact that people
- 12:06just laughed at her when she was a little girl and she just kept going.
- 12:10People are mean. So it's not that you're not going to be able to stop that,
- 12:14but what you can stop is your heart and how you act.
- 12:17The Bible says you should walk in love. So this isn't just them to you.
- 12:21I know you're thinking, yeah, they should know.
- 12:24You have to walk in love towards them. Ephesians 5.1, be followers of God.
- 12:28Walk in love as Christ loved us and gave himself for us.
- 12:32The reason you and me have to walk in love is because Jesus walks in love.
- 12:36And if you say you know him, if you say you love him, if you want to be him,
- 12:41you know, there's this, it's very popular right now.
- 12:44It is so popular for preachers to get online and just blast other full-blown ministries by name.
- 12:50And I don't agree with this. And I don't know, maybe it's just me,
- 12:54but I just keep inside. I just keep hearing God say, that's not the gospel.
- 12:58That's not the gospel. That's not the gospel. You know, what is the gospel of Jesus Christ?
- 13:03Look, if I got on here with you guys today and I'm teaching you about forgiveness,
- 13:07right? Let's just say I'm teaching about forgiveness. And I get on here and
- 13:09I'm like, do you know what happened to me?
- 13:11So-and-so did this and such and such did that. That's not the gospel.
- 13:14Come on, put that in the comments. That's not the gospel.
- 13:18The gospel of Jesus Christ sets captives free.
- 13:23It doesn't keep you in bondage and people are in bondage. If they're mad,
- 13:28if they're unforgiving, if they're bitter, if they, let me, let me help you out.
- 13:32If you get offended, you're in bondage. If you're rude to correction,
- 13:37you're in bondage. Look, you have no idea how many times my pastors corrected
- 13:41me. You, I mean, and harsh corrections. And you know what I didn't do?
- 13:46I didn't run my mouth back at them. I never did that. I know people that do
- 13:49that. I never clap back at my pastors. You know why? Because I honored them.
- 13:53And let me tell you something.
- 13:55A lot of people call me their pastor, but I'm not their pastor.
- 13:57Because if I was their pastor that actually listened to me, you know,
- 14:00if I'm your pastor and you ask my opinion or you come to me and I tell you and
- 14:04you totally ignore me, I'm not your pastor.
- 14:07A shepherd can only lead a sheep that wants to be led. I'm not chasing after
- 14:11a sheep. if you just go be off the crazy deep end i'm not your pastor because
- 14:15if i was your pastor you'd do what i tell you to do and you'd follow the path
- 14:19of god i'd tell you to follow,
- 14:21That's just a side note for somebody. So be followers of God as dear children.
- 14:25Walk as Christ. And if you're mad right now, you're in trouble. I'll tell you right now.
- 14:29If you're getting offended over what I just said, you got a problem.
- 14:34Notice that scripture doesn't merely tell us to love or walk in love.
- 14:38So notice that phrase, walk in love. We hear it and we just kind of throw it
- 14:42away. Oh yeah, I know, walk in love, walk in love. No, what is a walk?
- 14:46It's continual. If I go for a walk, I'm moving, right? I'm walking. It's constant.
- 14:52Walk in love.
- 14:55Do this with your fingers wherever you are. Walk in love. You got to walk in love.
- 15:00It's like a daily thing. It's a daily, a multiple. You're going to have to walk
- 15:03in love multiple times a day.
- 15:05Someone's going to be rude. Someone's going to be crappy. And you're going to
- 15:07have to say, not going to let that bug me.
- 15:10It's not an emotion. It becomes a way of living. You can disagree with someone and still walk in love.
- 15:16Kindness is part of the Christian life. you really wouldn't know that by a lot
- 15:20of christians but it is yeah jesus is definitely coming back,
- 15:24ephesians 4 31 let all bitterness wrath and anger and evil speaking be put away
- 15:29from you and be kind to one another tenderhearted forgiving one another even
- 15:34as god for christ's sake forgave you.
- 15:38That's what it says be kind,
- 15:40Okay. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away
- 15:46with all malice and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another,
- 15:50even as Christ forgave you.
- 15:52So I was saying it's real popular right now for preachers to get online and
- 15:56just call out home ministries.
- 15:58This one's charging tickets and they're wrong. This one's doing that.
- 16:01They're wrong. And I just keep hearing God say, that's not the gospel.
- 16:04That's not the gospel. That's not the gospel.
- 16:08So I'm ever aware that every time I get in front of you, I have to preach the
- 16:13gospel. I have to preach the truth. Now, do I bring correction?
- 16:16Yes, if you need correction.
- 16:18But the gospel is, let bitterness, wrath, anger, evil speaking,
- 16:22evil speaking, be put away with all malice and be kind to one another,
- 16:27tenderhearted, forgiving as God for Christ's sake forgave you.
- 16:31Why is that? Well, because with bitterness, wrath, anger, evil speaking,
- 16:37it's like a tornado that the devil can just thrive in. Make sense?
- 16:42You have no Wi-Fi? Well, that sucks, Marissa.
- 16:46So you replace these things with kindness, tender heart, and forgiving. Why?
- 16:50Because even God, for Christ's sake, forgave us. So in the Bible,
- 16:54we see a picture of how me and you are supposed to be. You know, here's the thing.
- 16:58We go to the cross. Oh God, I'm sorry. I'm a sinner. Please forgive me.
- 17:01And then we're like, oh, he forgave me. Thank God. Right.
- 17:04And then some sister at church or brother or somebody online,
- 17:07they say something you don't like. And you're like, like a mad cat.
- 17:14You're just like a mad cat. You're just like.
- 17:18Well, you can't be like that. You know, you can't expect God to forgive you.
- 17:22And then you're just hateful to people. That's not good.
- 17:26So Peter asked Jesus, Lord, shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him
- 17:32seven times? Like Peter thought he was doing good. Hey, this guy, Cindy, down.
- 17:36Hey, what if I forgive him seven whole times?
- 17:42And Jesus was like, dude, I got a word for you. Or Marissa says this phrase.
- 17:48Oh, I just heard it in my head. Baby, I don't do it right, but she said,
- 17:53baby, let me tell you. That's what Jesus said. Baby, let me tell you.
- 17:57I don't even know. Can you say that with Jesus? I don't think so.
- 18:00Baby, let me tell you. Lord, how often if my brother sins against me.
- 18:05Do I forgive him seven times? He thought it was good. And Jesus was like,
- 18:07baby, I say not just seven times, but 70 times seven.
- 18:13And that's not a number. You get that. It's not a number. It's in other words,
- 18:16he's saying there's no limit. You're going to forgive until I return.
- 18:22But we don't want to do that, do we? No, we don't. We want to hold on with both
- 18:25arms, a fist and half a leg.
- 18:28They made me mad. I'm not forgiving them. I'm not.
- 18:32No, you can't do that because I'm going to show you something.
- 18:35It's like toxin and stuff like that.
- 18:40Whoo, don't keep score. Matthew 8, 23, a servant owed his king an enormous debt that he couldn't pay.
- 18:45The servant begged for mercy, the scriptures say, and the king forgave him.
- 18:49He was moved with compassion. The whole debt was canceled.
- 18:52But that same servant found someone who owed him a lot, Matthew 18,
- 18:5628, and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat and said,
- 18:59you better give me what you owe.
- 19:01He wanted mercy for himself, but judgment for someone else. Can I just tell
- 19:05you that that's right. We must forgive at all times.
- 19:09Can I tell you something like with this whole, you know, me going to minister,
- 19:12it's not just the Muslims.
- 19:13I don't even know. I might only have two Muslims at the event,
- 19:16but, but like when, when you hear Christians talk about Muslims and I know that,
- 19:20you know, there's some stuff that's frustrating, but it's like,
- 19:23it's like Christians just are so quick to just get a big attitude.
- 19:27And I've been there, but God's been helping me to be different.
- 19:31And, you know, they're no different. They just believe something that we don't
- 19:35believe is true. We believe it's false, but it's no different than a drug addict.
- 19:39Like everyone that comes to God comes to God with some kind of jacked upness in their life.
- 19:45Maybe they believe in a false God, but maybe someone else is a drug addict.
- 19:49Maybe they believe in a false God, but maybe someone else is into porn.
- 19:52What difference does it make? We all come to God with some mess and we're going
- 19:56to God and saying, Father, here's my mess. I'm putting it on the altar in exchange
- 20:01for your righteousness.
- 20:02I'm laying my unbelief at the altar, and I'm asking you to give me righteousness.
- 20:06I'm laying the porn at the altar, and I'm asking you to bless me, God.
- 20:10I'm laying the unforgiveness at the altar, and I'm asking you to give me mercy.
- 20:13That's the thing. It's a great exchange.
- 20:17Baby. Yeah. You should see my nails. I pressed on this morning.
- 20:23You got to send me a picture, Marissa. You have to send me a picture.
- 20:26I don't have baby nails. Look, I got one nail missing. That's what I got. My hands down here.
- 20:33Hold on. My friend, the mayor messaged me. Let me see what my,
- 20:37I love saying that about my friend, my friend, the mayor.
- 20:41Thanks. I'm doing my live broadcast. and I just said, hold on,
- 20:44my friend, the mayor, text me. And then I told people, I love saying my friend, the mayor.
- 20:50I text him back. Okay, Matthew 8, 28. He laid hands on him and took him by the
- 20:54throat. You better give me what you owe.
- 20:56You know, that's what you look like to God. So what is the lesson?
- 20:59Okay, my feed is full. And there's some good preachers doing this. They're good.
- 21:04I mean, they're sound, they're anointed, they're full of the word.
- 21:08And there's a preacher, I'm not gonna say who he is, but he charges for his event.
- 21:12And every preacher is on his back. Okay, first of all, that's not the gospel.
- 21:18It's not the gospel to go all over social media and say how he shouldn't charge.
- 21:22If he charges and he's wrong, God will correct him. But you got 500 preachers
- 21:26coming out of the woodwork.
- 21:27You shouldn't try to, who cares?
- 21:30That's not the gospel. Put that in the comments, please. That's not the gospel.
- 21:34It's not the gospel. We got to stay focused. People are going to H-E double hockey sticks.
- 21:40I got to teach you about love and kindness and mercy and forgiveness. That's the gospel.
- 21:44I've got to teach you about Jesus and loving him and getting over yourself and
- 21:49stop being mean and stop being rude and all the stuff. That's the gospel.
- 21:53I don't have time to correct the whole world. Let God do that.
- 21:58Forgive people should become forgiving people. The point isn't that what happens
- 22:03doesn't matter if you're hurt.
- 22:06Who's in jail? Oh, really?
- 22:10My friend, the mayor. My friend, the mayor is a good mayor, Marissa.
- 22:14Not a bad marriage. That's yucky. All right.
- 22:17The point isn't what happened doesn't matter. The point is because we've received
- 22:21extraordinary mercy, we're called to extend mercy.
- 22:25And let me tell you something. The devil will test you on this because you can
- 22:29forgive someone you don't really care about.
- 22:31That's kind of easy. Like if somebody I don't really know ticks me off or does
- 22:35something, somehow it's easier to forgive them.
- 22:39But like if it's your mom or your sister or your, God forbid your husband or
- 22:43your wife, eh, that's tough because you're like, you ought to know better, you know?
- 22:47But you gotta give mercy. Colossians 3, put on as the elect of God,
- 22:52holy, beloved, listen to this, a weird way to say it, but bowels of mercy, kindness, humbleness,
- 23:00meekness, long-suffering, forbearing one another and forgiving one another,
- 23:05if any man has a quarrel, even as Christ for your sake.
- 23:07Let me, I wanna get a different translation because I don't really like this
- 23:10translation, so hold on a sec.
- 23:13Can you give me the New Living Translation and about three or four modern translations,
- 23:18including the message of Colossians 3, verse 12 through 13, please?
- 23:24Now I'm asking my best friend, ChatGPT.
- 23:29I have no friends. No, I do. Okay, you ready? Listen to this.
- 23:32I love the NLT sometimes.
- 23:35Does it look like a photo of Trump on my head, you goofball?
- 23:39What's wrong with you? It's a gorilla. G is for gorilla.
- 23:42By the way, I don't know why everybody gets, I don't think it matters what I
- 23:45wear. People just got something to say.
- 23:47I love gorillas. I want one day to go into the jungle of Africa and hike with
- 23:51them, but my family won't come with.
- 23:53So, so for now I wear a gorilla on my hat because I love gorillas.
- 23:57So it's got nothing to do with the gorilla they shot. It's got nothing to do.
- 23:59It's just, I like gorillas. Okay. So can we just get over my hat?
- 24:03How about you just listen? How about that? All right.
- 24:05NLT. Paul says that because we are God's chosen, holy, dearly loved people,
- 24:10We should clothe ourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness,
- 24:14humility, gentleness, and patience.
- 24:16We are to make allowance for everybody's faults.
- 24:23And forgive anyone who offends us, remembering that the Lord forgave us,
- 24:27so we must forgive others.
- 24:29You gotta be mercy, first and foremost, because Christ is supposed to be in
- 24:32you, and secondly, because you were forgiven.
- 24:34Yeah, so she was saying that mercy is hard for her, but the thing is,
- 24:40if you want, you know what'll help you?
- 24:42Read that Bible verse out loud that I read about the king, and he wanted mercy,
- 24:46and he got it, and then he wouldn't give it, and what happened?
- 24:49Read that out loud a few times, and then you will be.
- 24:52You never see those comments mama all right as god's chosen dearly beloved people
- 24:56clothe yourself with compassion humility and forgive another,
- 24:59one says god's chosen ones are called to put on compassion kindness gentleness
- 25:04and patience we are to bear with each other and forgive whenever we have a grievance
- 25:08amplified we are god's chosen people holy and beloved therefore put on a heart
- 25:13with compassion kindness humility,
- 25:15you get that thing oh wait one more message,
- 25:19one more i love Let's see.
- 25:22We are God's chosen people. We should dress. Oh, this is good.
- 25:26Listen to this one, y'all.
- 25:28Listen to this. This is a good translation. You guys should type this one out.
- 25:32Go look this one up. It's in the message.
- 25:35It says, we are God's chosen people. So we should dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you.
- 25:43Compassion, kindness, quiet strength, and discipline.
- 25:47And if we have something against somebody, forgive as quickly and completely
- 25:53as the master forgave you. Isn't that good? Come on.
- 25:58Why is that? Well, because if you don't, you know, somebody said unforgiveness,
- 26:03is like drinking poison and expecting somebody else to die.
- 26:06So it's just, it's not good for you. All right.
- 26:09If you don't forgive, in Hebrews 12, 14, there's a next step.
- 26:13Follow peace with all men, looking diligently, lest any man fall,
- 26:17lest any root of bitterness would spring up.
- 26:21So if you don't forgive quickly, okay, Lord, help me to get this out.
- 26:26Because let me just tell you, I'm not smashing y'all. I've been through this a lot.
- 26:30What does forgiveness mean? It means you don't keep rehearsing the bad thing.
- 26:35So let's just say I got a friend named Felicia.
- 26:39I just like, I keep using, poor Felicia. I got a friend, her name's Felicia.
- 26:44And I put on this outfit and Felicia's like, that's good, but your butt looks
- 26:47big in that. And I actually have a friend that does that to me.
- 26:51She could be watching. And I immediately, like, I get really mad, like really mad.
- 26:56Well, then every day I'm like, I cannot believe Felicia said my butt looks big.
- 27:00Who does she think she, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, and then the next
- 27:04day, and then the next day, Felicia said my butt looks big. Can you believe,
- 27:07and I tell friends about it.
- 27:09I keep talking about it. That's not forgiveness.
- 27:12And what'll happen is pretty soon I'm going to develop a root of bitterness towards Miss Felicia.
- 27:18And I'm going to be really ticked off. And that's going to take root.
- 27:22You see, you see, the minute you get upset with something or somebody,
- 27:26you've got an opportunity to let it go quick.
- 27:30If you don't let it go quick, guess what it does?
- 27:33Oh, thank you, Lord. If you don't let it go, it starts to grow. That's the deal.
- 27:37Let it go or it'll start growing. It's like if you got a weed and you got a
- 27:42weed in your, I hate weeds, but you got a weed in your garden.
- 27:45And if you, if you, if you pluck it kind of up, but you let the tentacles hang
- 27:49in there and you let it grow in Tennessee, boy, that thing will grow up to a big tree in no time.
- 27:53But if you root it out and you let it go, it can't grow.
- 27:58But if you, if you hold onto it, it will grow. That's what it means.
- 28:02So you're going to get a root of bitterness if you don't let it go.
- 28:06Be careful about becoming judgmental. Luke 6, 36, be merciful as your father's mercy.
- 28:12Judge not, lest you be judged.
- 28:14Condemn not, and you won't be condemned. Now, let me explain this to you,
- 28:19because people get so confused about this.
- 28:22Judgment, condemnation, forgiveness. Okay, if I'm in court and I make a judgment,
- 28:28that means you're getting sentenced.
- 28:30So what he's saying is you don't know if someone will repent in their life or go to hell.
- 28:34It is not judgment to tell somebody, hey, that sin you're doing, that's against God.
- 28:40And you're gonna hurt yourself by doing that. That's not a judgment.
- 28:43Now, here's where it's a judgment. If you see somebody sinning against God,
- 28:49just reading Marissa's comment.
- 28:53If you see somebody sinning against God, it's not judgment to say,
- 28:57hey, that lifestyle is going to hurt you. But here's where it's judgment.
- 29:01What is wrong with you? Don't you know you're a filthy pig? And don't you know
- 29:04you shouldn't be doing stuff? You're just some like harlot, some hooker.
- 29:06What's wrong? You see the difference?
- 29:09Like if somebody comes in and they're a drug addict and they're like a waif
- 29:11of a person and they're a father, okay, or a mother, whatever. Let's say it's a mother.
- 29:16She's a drug addict. She comes to my church, and I know that her kid is like
- 29:20in shambles because she's been a drug addict, okay?
- 29:23It is not judgment to say, honey, this life you're living is going to take you
- 29:27down a path to hell, and you got to get out of it.
- 29:30That is wisdom. But it's judgment if I say this.
- 29:37It's judgment if I say this.
- 29:39What is wrong with you, man. You're freaking waif and you're a kid and you're
- 29:42just like a hooker and you're just doing stuff. You see the difference?
- 29:46You understand? Okay. We're not supposed to judge. That's what that means. Don't do that.
- 29:51So behold the thing in your brother's eye before you're beaming your own eye.
- 29:56You guys know that. Take the plank out of your eye before you go to them.
- 29:59Love doesn't keep a running record of every wrong.
- 30:03This is rough. This one's the hard one. It's hard. It's hard. This one is whoo.
- 30:09Love doesn't keep a record of
- 30:10the wrong. Well, she did this and she said that. And I know she said that.
- 30:14But you got like you got like a stenographer's thing of this.
- 30:18She did this. She did this. She did it.
- 30:20You know, you got it. But not out here. You got it up here. She said this and
- 30:23she said that. He said that. And he said. And you just keep it all.
- 30:26You're not supposed to do that.
- 30:28Love suffers long and is kind. It's not vain. It's not puffed up.
- 30:32It doesn't believe unseemly. It doesn't think its own.
- 30:35The phrase love thinks no evil carries the idea, not a reckoning or keep an account of wrong.
- 30:41So, so you can't, it is rough. This, this stuff is hard, but the,
- 30:45but the reason why we've got to do it is it's so freeing and I'm not there.
- 30:49Let me just help you all out. I'm not there yet. A hundred percent.
- 30:52I still feel a little when somebody gets on my nerves or somebody disappoints
- 30:56me or somebody really hurts me that I believed in and they do something crappy.
- 31:00And I'm like, man, that sucks. But, but you know, I'm growing because there's true.
- 31:05The Bible says that Jesus said, my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
- 31:10The reason why so many Christians are heavy laden is because they don't accept the yoke of Christ.
- 31:16And the yoke of Christ is if they hurt you, if they spit on you,
- 31:19it, you just, you love them.
- 31:21And that's not heavy, but it's heavy to carry bitterness. It's heavy to carry anger.
- 31:26It's heavy to be pissed off at the world. That's heavy. Don't do that.
- 31:31So how do you forgive somebody? This is really important. You have to make the
- 31:35decision before the feelings come.
- 31:37Forgiveness begins as obedience. You might not feel like forgiving.
- 31:42I'm not forgiving that person.
- 31:45You don't know what she did. I'm fixing up. You don't even know.
- 31:48Well, it doesn't matter.
- 31:50You don't feel like forgiving, but you have to say, God, I choose to forgive
- 31:53this person because you forgave me.
- 31:56You know, all these preachers run in their mouth about this and that.
- 32:00They ought to just go to the mirror and go, man, when I made mistakes,
- 32:03I'm sure glad. And I'm going to talk about sexual sin mistakes.
- 32:05I'm talking about just whatever.
- 32:07They should be thankful that God doesn't treat them the way they treat everybody else.
- 32:12So first, you have to forgive somebody and you have to forgive them quickly.
- 32:17My friend, the mayor said, what is that laughing face?
- 32:22Second, stop rehearsing the offense. Philippians 4.8 tells us to direct our
- 32:26thoughts towards things that are true, honest, and pure.
- 32:29You cannot continually rehearse the wound and expect the wound to disappear.
- 32:34How about that, y'all? You can't rehearse the wound and expect,
- 32:39that's like you got a sore, you know, on your arm and you put a Band-Aid over
- 32:43it, but every minute I come by, you rip the Band-Aid off and you take your pen and start.
- 32:47That's what it's like to constantly bring something up, Constantly mad,
- 32:52constantly say stuff, bringing it up.
- 32:54It's like reopening a wound. And you can't, you gotta, Paul the Apostle said,
- 32:58let go and move on. You gotta just let go and move on.
- 33:02Can I tell you, you know, I guess, I guess, I don't know.
- 33:05I think personalities are different maybe. Well, obviously, but.
- 33:09You know, I was raised in a very critical family. Very critical.
- 33:16And because I was raised under constant criticism, I do the same thing. It's god-awful.
- 33:21I don't want to, and I don't even realize I'm doing it, but because I was raised
- 33:25in a critical family, I criticize.
- 33:28And criticism can become a habit, and you don't even realize you're doing it.
- 33:32You're just kind of negative sometimes.
- 33:35Sorry, I want to get rid of somebody. Okay.
- 33:39So you can't rehearse the offense. Philippians 4.8 says, deliberately direct
- 33:43our thoughts towards things that are true, honest, pure, and lovely.
- 33:47You know, when somebody's mad at you, you automatically be like,
- 33:49I know that she knows that she did that. And I know she knows that she hurt
- 33:52me. And I know what I found a lot of times, yeah, lots of devils.
- 33:56What I found a lot of times is that people aren't thinking about you that much.
- 34:01Life's full of difficult choices, like my cubs says.
- 34:07People, they're not thinking about you that much. You're not that important.
- 34:11What do I mean by that? Okay, if you're a chick and you go to church, and.
- 34:16You're insecure. You can be thinking everybody's looking at you and nobody's looking at you.
- 34:20If you go to church and you see two ladies talking, you can think they're talking
- 34:24about you, but they're not even talking about you. It's just you're insecure.
- 34:26So you're not that important. Nobody's really talking about you all the time
- 34:29like you think. They're not talking behind your back. They're not even thinking
- 34:32about you. A lot of times people aren't.
- 34:34So you have to think good thoughts, honest, just pure.
- 34:38And it's like if you follow Christ's way, you win all the time.
- 34:41For example, let's just say people have a Facebook whole group and they're talking
- 34:45about me behind my back, but I'm believing that they're not doing that.
- 34:49I'm believing the best. Well, I still win.
- 34:52And if they do do that, if they are doing that and I forgive them,
- 34:57I still win. Either way I win, whether they are talking about me or I forgive
- 35:01them, it doesn't matter. I win. And that's how you become light.
- 35:05That's how you become not heavy laden. There's a lot of stuff in life to jack
- 35:10you up and piss you off and whatever, but don't take the opportunities.
- 35:14And I got to get better at it. And I'm telling y'all, God is helping me.
- 35:18I feel like a sailboat sometimes. I feel like, woo, you ever see a sailboat?
- 35:22I'm kind of not so fond of the ocean sometimes. Well, let me tell you this story.
- 35:26It's funny. We were on our honeymoon.
- 35:28This is a hundred years ago. We're on our honeymoon. You know how they got those
- 35:31surfboard things with the sails in them, you know? So I got the bread idea.
- 35:34I was going to try one of those.
- 35:36That was not the smartest thing
- 35:37I could do. So I get on it. I'd never done one before, but I get on it.
- 35:43And I must've turned the right way with the wind and whoosh,
- 35:46that thing started taking me out to sea.
- 35:49And you want to talk about being paranoid. I mean, you want to talk about being,
- 35:54uh, you want to talk about being paranoid.
- 35:58So watch me ignore these fool's comments right now. Cause I don't care.
- 36:03So you want to talk about being paranoid. That thing goes, takes me out to the ocean.
- 36:07And as I'm sailing, like the wind just whoosh. And I look down and there's all
- 36:10these jellyfish And I thought, oh, my gosh, I'm going to fall off this thing
- 36:14and land in the jellyfish. It was awful, y'all.
- 36:18Well, the same way that that wind took me out with just ease is the same way
- 36:24that you will be like this idiot telling me that I'm old.
- 36:27Like, if I don't care, like he's an idiot or she, whatever.
- 36:31You know, you just don't. Who cares what they think? I don't care. I know I'm not old.
- 36:35So they're just being rude and stupid. And they're probably in their mom's basement.
- 36:38And they're probably ugly as can be. And they're just a mean person.
- 36:40But it doesn't matter. and there you go.
- 36:43So you just don't let people get you because I could I could cuss that person
- 36:47out. I could say you're just, but it wastes my time. It wastes your time and
- 36:50there's no point. Instead, I'm just like, whatever.
- 36:53And I move on. You see how light that is?
- 36:56And then I laugh like, okay, whatever.
- 36:58So then you got to pray. Matthew 5, 44. Love your enemies. Bless those who curse
- 37:04you and do good to those who hate you.
- 37:06That's not easy. Do good to those who hate you.
- 37:09Like this fool that called me old. Lord, I just pray you bless that fool.
- 37:12Whoever that fool is, please bless them.
- 37:17Just do good. You're like, Lord, just help that person out. Amen.
- 37:20And you bless instead of curse. Like I could go off on that person,
- 37:24but I'm not supposed to do that, even though I've done that in the past.
- 37:28Bless those who persecute you. Don't spend the next five years telling everybody
- 37:32what a horrible person somebody is.
- 37:35If you want to be free, that is. Now you could be bound. You want to tell the
- 37:39whole world they did this, they did that, they did that.
- 37:41And the more you do it, it's like, you're just bound. You're just bound up, but you got to go free.
- 37:46We got to go free. There's too much to do. God has too many things for you.
- 37:50There's too much money to make. There's too much blessing coming.
- 37:53There's too many things coming down the road for your life. You don't have time
- 37:56to feel sorry and talk about people and get involved in all the mess and all the gossip.
- 38:01God's got a good plan for you. And you got to like the wind in your sail.
- 38:06You just got to go. You don't have time for all this stuff.
- 38:10Reason why we get mad, the reason why we want to cuss somebody out,
- 38:13the reason why we want to tell everybody what they did, you know why? It's one reason only.
- 38:18We don't think we're going to get justice. So we want to tell somebody how bad
- 38:23they were, how wicked they were, what they said to me, how they really are.
- 38:27I've been there. I've wanted to tell people all kinds of stuff about certain people in my life.
- 38:34I want to say, you know what? You think they're so good. Let me tell you,
- 38:37you know, but God stops me. He's like, don't you do it. Don't you dare do it, Lisa.
- 38:41You can't do it. I could out a lot of people. But what would be the point in
- 38:46that? That's not the gospel. Put that in the comments. That's not the gospel.
- 38:50Do you know what Jesus does? Jesus protects people. Jesus loves people.
- 38:54He really does love people. He protects people. He guards people. You know.
- 39:00Sometimes somebody has not been exposed yet because God's exercising mercy to
- 39:04give them a chance to repent. Really, that's what it is.
- 39:08But the reason we want to tell everybody, you don't know how they treated me.
- 39:11You don't know what they—it's because we think that God doesn't see it.
- 39:15But once you know, the Bible says in Romans 12, 19, avenge not yourself,
- 39:21for it's written, vengeance is mine.
- 39:24I will repay, says the Lord.
- 39:26God repays these people that mistreat you.
- 39:29But if you are running around saying you better watch out and God's going to
- 39:35get you because God will get you, you're already wrong.
- 39:40A true person of Christ is like this. God.
- 39:45I'm praying for that person, man, because I know that's not going to be good
- 39:47for them. And you really mean it. Your heart is broken over that.
- 39:50But if you come out from the gate like, yeah, that's right. Yeah, that's right.
- 39:54That's right. You talked about me as a woman preacher. You just wait.
- 39:57God's going to cut you and get you. And you're just you're you're jacked up.
- 40:01And if you got any of that in you, get it out. Get it out. Get it out.
- 40:04Get it out. It's not good. It's not healthy. It's not Christ.
- 40:08Get it out of you. Get it out of you, out of you, out of you. Get it out.
- 40:12You gotta be either, look, it kind of comes down to this. Either you wanna be
- 40:17like Jesus or you don't. And I believe you do.
- 40:20I do. I mean, I got a lot of fighting me. I'm a fighter. I wanna come on,
- 40:24put on, I'm gonna tell you.
- 40:26But Jesus, you can fight about the right things, fight the fight of faith,
- 40:31but I don't have to fight people.
- 40:33And if I spent, I've told you all this, if I spent all my time,
- 40:35which I've done, y'all who know me, you know I've done it before.
- 40:38If I defend myself, every comment, everything, what will happen?
- 40:42What will happen one day if God helped me? Maybe he will.
- 40:46What happens one day if I got 3000 people on here and I got 300 out of the 3000
- 40:52cussing me out and well, amen, Marissa, cussing me out and saying stuff.
- 40:56What will happen if I just start answering everybody back? You know what's going
- 41:00to happen? Let me give you this visual analogy.
- 41:03All right. All right. Shut your eyes. I'm going to show you something in the
- 41:06spirit. Shut your eyes while you're watching. I'm not shutting my eyes.
- 41:08You shut your eyes. Close your eyes.
- 41:10You ready? Close your eyes. Okay.
- 41:14I want you to imagine that you're standing there and there's a straight path in front of you.
- 41:20It's nice and calm and you're supposed to walk on it. It's peaceful.
- 41:24There's flowers on that path and whatever. Okay.
- 41:28But all around you on the backside, like in a half circle, are all these people
- 41:33trying to trying to pull you back.
- 41:37And they're hollering out to you. Now, you're supposed to go straight.
- 41:42You're supposed to take the path of peace.
- 41:44But they're hollering out to you. And they're antagonizing you.
- 41:48And they're yelling at you.
- 41:50And even though you know you're supposed to go straight, you can't take it anymore
- 41:54and you turn yourself around.
- 41:57And you start flailing your little fist at every single person in that backside.
- 42:01And let's just say there's 50 people.
- 42:03So you're swinging and you're swinging and you're hitting and you're swinging
- 42:06and you're hitting this one and you're hitting that one. And you feel kind of
- 42:08good hitting, you know, the first few times you feel kind of good.
- 42:11About the 50th time, you're starting to get pretty tired.
- 42:15About the 100th time, you don't have any strength left. And instead of walking
- 42:18your path and going straight, you collapse right there in that pile and that
- 42:21rubble and that woods with all those idiots.
- 42:24And that's what happens when you choose vengeance instead of letting God fix it.
- 42:30That's what happens when you choose to get offended at every little thing somebody
- 42:34says. Look, look yourself in the mirror and just begin to say this. I need to be corrected.
- 42:41If I'm doing something wrong, I need to be corrected.
- 42:44And you should take correction with a humble heart. Now, I didn't like it when
- 42:48my pastors were correcting me. It doesn't feel good, but I never ran my mouth
- 42:52at them. I would never dream of doing that.
- 42:55And I'm telling you that I believe in my heart that any victory you see in my
- 42:59ministry or you will see in the future is because of that.
- 43:03Because when I was corrected, I didn't say, well, you don't know what you're
- 43:06talking about. I just took it.
- 43:08I just took it. Okay. Yes, ma'am.
- 43:11Mm-hmm. So, vengeance is mine.
- 43:14I will repay. The reason why you want to run your mouth is you think that God
- 43:18didn't see it, and you think that you got to tell everybody what they did wrong.
- 43:22And let me tell you something. God always repays better than you ever could.
- 43:26So just love him, forgive him, and move on.
- 43:29And forgiveness doesn't mean reconciliation. You know, sometimes people think,
- 43:32well, that person hurt me really bad, or they yelled at me, or they hit me.
- 43:37Well, that doesn't mean you go be with them. Forgiveness doesn't mean abuse
- 43:40me again, steal from me, lie to me.
- 43:43I'll pretend nothing happened. It just means you don't keep rehearsing that
- 43:47over and over. Live in peace if possible.
- 43:50And is this my last point?
- 43:53No, I got a couple more points. Love is the mark of a disciple of Jesus Christ.
- 43:58In John 13, this is Jesus now. This is important.
- 44:02A new commandment I give you, that you love one another as I've loved you.
- 44:06By this will all men know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
- 44:11Jesus did not say that the world would recognize us by how much scripture we can quote.
- 44:17You're not going to know I'm a Christian because I wear lots of makeup.
- 44:20You're like, that's right, you're not.
- 44:22You're not going to know I'm a Christian because I know all the Bible.
- 44:25You're not going to know that I'm a Christian because I'm a great theologian.
- 44:28I can tell you all the stuff.
- 44:30How does Jesus define? This is important. This is so, I love Jesus. Ooh, I surrender all.
- 44:39And then your pastor corrects you and you're like, don't you tell me what to do.
- 44:43I surrender all. And then someone says something mean about you,
- 44:47like, I'm so sick and tired. No.
- 44:50Unto you, my precious Savior, I surrender all. Surrender means you don't act like that.
- 44:59I'm going long today. What time is it? Oh, it's only 47 minutes. I'm doing good. Okay.
- 45:02A new commandment I give that you love one another. By this,
- 45:05men will know you're my disciples, that you love one another.
- 45:07Jesus did not say the world will recognize us by our knowledge of the word. He said it's love, love.
- 45:14You can go to church, but you can still carry bitterness. You can talk about
- 45:18faith, but you spend your life criticizing everybody.
- 45:22You can talk about love and forgiveness and stuff, but you can't be corrected. You're jacked up.
- 45:28And if you can't be corrected, it's because you are wounded.
- 45:31You are insecure and you got to get rid of that.
- 45:34Look, it was so hard for me to have my pastor's wife tell me all the time, this isn't right.
- 45:40That's not right. You're not doing that right.
- 45:43I didn't like it. I got flesh just like you. But my heart was,
- 45:46God, I just want to be like you.
- 45:49You know, do you know that my pastor's wife told me to stop seeing Chad?
- 45:53Now, I never told somebody that, but she did because I couldn't stay out of sin.
- 45:58I knew better. I was a good Christian girl, but I wasn't doing right.
- 46:01And she's like, you need to separate.
- 46:03And if, and if he is to be your husband, got to work it out.
- 46:07Well, that was very hard because at the time he was all I wanted,
- 46:11boy. I just, now I'm like, you can take him. No, I'm just kidding.
- 46:17But you know, you're in that love mode. And she's like, you need to stop because
- 46:21you can't live right and whatever. And so guess what I did? I listened to her.
- 46:25I listened to her. I broke it off for like three months. It was very hard.
- 46:29It was very hard, you know? And then, and then one time I wanted to just do
- 46:33what I wanted to do. I was bitter. I was mad. I was living in sin and stuff.
- 46:36And she did just like, I never did this to you all, but she did this to me.
- 46:39Lisa, you're headed to hell.
- 46:41You are going straight to hell. That's what she told me. What you're doing is,
- 46:44how'd you like that if I put my finger in your face and said,
- 46:47would you just say, oh, I just love my pastor.
- 46:49Now, I didn't like it, but I never slapped back at her. I just took it.
- 46:53And so you wonder why God gives me words of knowledge and revelation.
- 46:57You wonder why I lay hands on sick people and they get healed.
- 47:00God said, if I can't trust you with the little things like mammon,
- 47:03like giving your money, how can I trust you with the greater things?
- 47:05Well, maybe, maybe when I went like this, maybe when she did this and I took
- 47:11it, maybe that's why God said, okay, I can trust her with my power because she's
- 47:14willing to be corrected. And he has corrected me.
- 47:17You know, I had a hard time with some Muslims. I really did.
- 47:20And God's like, hey, Lisa, the same devil that wants to hurt you through them is hurting them.
- 47:26Okay. All right. I'm sorry, God. Forgive me.
- 47:29So you got to walk in love. Matthew 22, 37. Love the Lord your God with all
- 47:34your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.
- 47:36This is the first commandment. And the second is like it. Love your neighbor as yourself.
- 47:43Got to love people, y'all. We can't criticize them and say, now again,
- 47:46that doesn't mean that you can't tell someone, hey, that life is not going to help you.
- 47:50But you don't say things like, well, how come you don't know that?
- 47:52And you know, because guess what? You don't know a lot of stuff either.
- 47:56I don't know a lot of, there's a lot of stuff I don't know. There's a lot.
- 47:59Let me just tell you, this is the word of God.
- 48:02The Bible says in the beginning was the word and the word was God.
- 48:04This is the word of God. This is God. Are you trying to tell me you think you
- 48:08know everything in here.
- 48:09I don't care if you know faith a million times over. I can promise you there's a lot you don't know.
- 48:14It doesn't matter how much I know. He keeps showing me, you don't know that.
- 48:19Yeah, but I know, but you don't know that. So how can I be haughty?
- 48:23How can I say, I'm the only one with a true revelation of the word of God. Oh, get over yourself.
- 48:29I'm the only one with an anointing. Oh, please be quiet.
- 48:34Nobody knows it all. Paul, the apostle said we see darkly. So no matter how
- 48:38much, you know, you don't know a lot.
- 48:40That's why you have to be humble and people are hurting. They're wounded.
- 48:44They're broken. If they're doing drugs, if they're getting drunk,
- 48:47if they're sleeping around, they're hurting, they're messed up.
- 48:50You got to show them love.
- 48:51I'm not telling you to take them in your house. And I'm just saying,
- 48:54love people, love people. It's really important.
- 48:57Love people. Amen. Love the second law. Okay. So I just want to close with this
- 49:03because I think this is interesting. You ready? Okay.
- 49:07Science has found something interesting about forgiveness. Okay,
- 49:10now we're off the word, but we're going to science for a minute.
- 49:14Researchers found a relationship between forgiveness and better health outcomes.
- 49:19The association was particularly strong for psychological health,
- 49:24while relationships with cardiovascular measures were also found.
- 49:28This is through a published medical thing.
- 49:32That doesn't mean forgiveness magically prevents every disease.
- 49:35I bet it does, though. I bet it helps a lot.
- 49:38Forgiveness and interventions can reduce stress, anger, and depression.
- 49:44Another systematic review—I feel like I'm blurry—another systematic review,
- 49:49there were random trials of forgiveness based on interventions.
- 49:53Are you ready for this? Y'all listening?
- 49:56I don't think you're ready for this. Researchers found evidence that interventions
- 50:00reduced depression, anger, and hostility, stress, and distress.
- 50:05They also increased positive emotional well-being.
- 50:09So think about this in Proverbs 17, 22, a merry heart does good like medicine,
- 50:14but a broken spirit dries the bones.
- 50:18Do you know I had a family member, and they were always criticizing,
- 50:22they were always miserable, they were always frustrated, and they got bone cancer.
- 50:27The Bible says that a merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit
- 50:32dries the bones. It's very real.
- 50:36So what does anger and hostility do? Well, there were some studies on anger
- 50:40and hostility and coronary and heart and all this stuff.
- 50:46A systematic review found that immediately following an intense outburst of
- 50:51anger, there was an increase in cardiovascular events.
- 50:57If you're bitter, you could mess up your heart. So don't complain about everything.
- 51:03Philippians 2.14 says, do everything without murmuring that you may be blameless and harmless.
- 51:09Some people wake up looking for something wrong.
- 51:13I don't like this weather. That restaurant's garbage. This church ain't right.
- 51:17My family ain't acting right. I hate this traffic. Everything is wrong.
- 51:23God wants us to develop new habits. Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude, gratitude.
- 51:29First Thessalonians five in everything, some things, knowing everything.
- 51:33Even if you think you don't have something to be thankful for,
- 51:36do you have arms at work? You got something to be thankful for.
- 51:38You got two eyeballs at work.
- 51:41You got teeth that can chew. You know, we don't think about this,
- 51:45but honestly, when you wake up and your eyes go, whoa, thank you, Jesus, I can see.
- 51:50You know, there's some people they can't see.
- 51:52When you hear the sounds of the wind or your husband saying,
- 51:54hey, babe, I love you, or your wife. Woo, Jesus, I can hear. Thank you.
- 51:59When you're chewing your breakfast, I mean, some of you got real teeth.
- 52:03Some of you got false teeth, but at least you got teeth.
- 52:06Oh, thank you, Lord. I've got teeth.
- 52:09Lisa, this is dumb. No, it isn't. He said in everything, give thanks. This is the will of God.
- 52:14I wish I knew what the will of God is. I can tell you it's in the will of God
- 52:18is found in 1 Thessalonians 5.18.
- 52:21In everything, everything, everything, give thanks.
- 52:25Oh, Lord, thank you for my eyes. Oh, Lord, thank you for my nose.
- 52:28Oh, Lord, thank you for my heart.
- 52:29Oh, Lord, thank you for my arms. Thank you for a microphone.
- 52:32Thank you for this computer. Thank you for my friends watching.
- 52:34Oh, God, thank you for my Cindy Lou Who cup and the water that's inside of it.
- 52:39In everything, give thanks, not criticize, in everything, give thanks.
- 52:42So the godly hack is don't let other people's mess up live rent-free in your heart.
- 52:48Maybe they really hurt you. Maybe they never apologize. And this could be a
- 52:54person or a life situation. Some of y'all are just pissed off at life. Okay.
- 52:59Maybe they hurt you. Maybe they never apologize. Maybe they don't even believe
- 53:03they did anything wrong.
- 53:04Well, I would forgive them if they admitted. And it doesn't work like that.
- 53:08Jesus doesn't tell you to forgive if they admit it. He just said, forgive.
- 53:12You can spend the next 20 years waiting for people to tell you they're sorry
- 53:15or wish they did something different, but it's not going to fix it.
- 53:17You got to get free whether people apologize or not. Joseph had every right
- 53:21to be bitter. His brothers betrayed him.
- 53:24They threw him in a pit, for goodness sake. They sold him. He was falsely accused.
- 53:30But when he had the chance, he's like, hey, hey, hey, You were mean,
- 53:35but it's okay. God used it for my good.
- 53:38And that's what you gotta do. Love is stronger than offense.
- 53:41Above all things, have love among others.
- 53:45The Bible says, hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all sins.
- 53:48Don't hate people, just love people.
- 53:50Forgive quickly, love deeply, be kind.
- 53:54Don't keep score. Don't rehearse offenses. Bless people, pray for people.
- 53:58And here's a closing prayer. You ready? Let me pray this for you.
- 54:02The name of Jesus and Nazareth, let all bitterness, resentment,
- 54:06anger, judgment, unforgiveness be gone from the people watching and from me.
- 54:11Today, I choose to forgive people that hurt me. Say that out loud.
- 54:15Today, I choose to forgive people that hurt me.
- 54:18I release them from the debt.
- 54:21That's the thing. You got to let people go. Don't be mad at people.
- 54:25I refuse to allow yesterday's hurt to control today.
- 54:29Help me to walk in peace. Help me to forgive. I choose peace.
- 54:34Forgiveness doesn't change what happened yesterday, but it changes what yesterday
- 54:40is allowed to do in your today.
- 54:43Come on. You don't want to keep being mad. You don't want to keep being bitter.
- 54:48You don't want people to—you don't want to hold people—you don't want to hold
- 54:53a grudge towards people. You want to just move on.
- 54:55Amen? You want to move on. You want to believe God. You want to love people.
- 55:01Don't you? Don't you want to just love people and be kind and merciful and stuff?
- 55:05I mean, that's how God is. Aren't you glad that Jesus was kind of merciful to
- 55:09you? And that's really what He wants.
- 55:12He wants to be kind of merciful to you, and He wants you to be kind of merciful
- 55:16to other people so that you can show Him how good God is. Amen?
- 55:20Come on. He loves you so much. He desires to give you good things.
- 55:24He wants to bless you in the city, bless you in the field, bless you when you
- 55:28come in, bless you when you come out.
- 55:31He really loves you. Amen. All right. You ready to pray?
- 55:36If you don't know Jesus today, you can.
- 55:40The Bible says you got to repent and ask Jesus in your heart.
- 55:42So say this, Father, I am sorry.
- 55:45I believe Jesus, you're the Son of God. Come into my heart and be the Lord of my life.
- 55:50Forgive me. If you said that prayer, just like that, you're saved.
- 55:53And for those of you watching live, may the good Lord bless you,
- 55:56prosper you, protect you, and keep you. I wanna thank each and every one of
- 56:00you that are partners who are watching that sowed seed.
- 56:04You know, I started by saying about that $49,000 miracle. You should rewind
- 56:08the video or go on Facebook and watch it and see what I'm talking about.
- 56:11Believe God, you sowed seed. Father, I speak over every person that sowed.
- 56:16May it be multiplied back to them. Good measure, pressed down,
- 56:18shaken together, and running over.
- 56:20May the hand of god's favor be upon them thank you for financial blessing thank
- 56:25you for breakthrough thank you for bills paid in full thank you for debt cancellation
