  [SPEAKER_00]: they extended a tender offer towards exclusive rights for agent, Christian Braswell, that signed, and then they also resigned cornerback Keith Taylor.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, this is something the Rams have been doing for a long time.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think last year was James Ladsson's first, first combat, and this, I think, was always going to be the plan long term for the Jaguars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like, they believe not showing any interest in any players during the draft process gives them a competitive advantage in the draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like, they actually have a plan, a process in place.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They were, they've been working on this for months.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And to pick up and bring everybody to Indie for the Combine just didn't make a lot of sense this year and People might ask well, why did they do it last year and my opinion they did it last year because there was no There was no Plan in place yet really I mean they had started to formulate a plan certainly, but James Gladstone was hired the week before the Combine

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they didn't have processes in place yet that James Ladsdon had already kind of set up base camp in Jacksonville, like they didn't have that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now this year, they've been working on this again for months.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I think this will be their strategy moving forward.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Whether you agree with it or disagree with it,

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's worked well for the ramps.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They've been one of the better drafting teams in the league, despite not always having a ton of draft capital.

  [SPEAKER_00]: When they do have good draft capital, they usually put it to good use.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, I don't think it's a big deal at all.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I expected the Jag wars to end up not attending the combine.

  [SPEAKER_00]: This year even though they did last year again last year I believe it was just because it's like these guys have not been working with each other yet They have not been working with each other on the draft yet.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a good opportunity to not interrupt anything because there's nothing to interrupt because I haven't started working together yet So it's a I thought it was a good opportunity for them to have some bonding on the road last year

  [SPEAKER_00]: get to know each other a little bit better this year they've been working with each other for a year now they don't need that they can probably be more effective and efficient and again they don't want to show their hand.

  [SPEAKER_00]: with any of the players that they're potentially interested in.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They don't do top 30 visits, which we used to, that used to be a guiding principle, or a guiding feature of the offseason for people that covered the Jaguars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, the top 30 visits and the visits in general, you were able to at least say, hey, the Jaguars have shown some interest in this player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Let's break this player down.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You're not getting that anymore.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And,

  [SPEAKER_00]: opposing teams pay attention to that because more often than not, some of your 30 visits are going to be draft picks for you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And they call them top 30 visits.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of a misnomer.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's really just you get 30 visits.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why they call it top 30 visits because a lot of the guys you end up drafting later on in the draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But look, Jack Wars, they're doing things their own way now and their own way worked pretty damn good in 2025.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's worked pretty damn good for Liam Cohen and James Gladstone throughout their respective careers prior to getting to Jacksonville.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I have no reason to not give them grace to make their own decisions on whether they're going to attend the combine or any specific event, like good for them, good for them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Kornabak, who signed with the Jaguars from the Falcons practice squad in December, has resigned with the team.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So he's a guy that he just, I mean, he just has not been here very long.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Very, I mean, he was with the Falcons and was on their practice squad all year basically

  [SPEAKER_00]: They were communicating with him on Christmas Eve.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They got him in on the 25th and they had some injuries.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So they brought him in.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that he obviously showed them enough to want to bring him back and he's twenty twenty one fifth round pick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's not somebody that's going to be competing to start for them and all likelihood.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But he does have something that most Jack's cornerbacks don't, and that's a ton of height and length, like he's six foot three, he's a taller, lengthier corner, so he has that to his game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: As of right now, you look at the Jaguar's corner back room.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Buster Brown and Greg News from our both free agents, but you have Travis Hunter.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You have Jordan Lewis coming off the foot injury.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Don't know when he's going to be good to go.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You have Darian Jones.

  [SPEAKER_00]: To me Keith Taylor is fighting for a back end of the roster spot here.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's what he's doing they want to have him in here to compete for that But that's that's what's going on.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be fighting for the back of the roster.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's 27 years old Obviously in a very short amount of time.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He showed the Jaguars enough for them to Want to have him here for this offseason program and get him going and see if he can be one of the guys to make the back end of the roster So good for him, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's not something you saw a lot in Jacksonville prior to this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like the Jack Wars when they made moves for guys, it seems like they were very well prepared in terms of knowing what this guy is going to be like for the most part, and it wasn't 100%.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, Diami Brown and it up not being a good fit, but a lot of the guys they brought in this past year, they just seemed like perfect fits, they got hits, whether that was a base hit or double a triple homer, they got hits and Keith Taylor it feels like was a hit on the back end of the roster for them and somebody they want it again.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Same thing with Matt Dickerson who they brought in last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was obviously around a little bit longer, but he was on their practice quad for a while and then was able to make his way to the active roster and he's a guy they value to bring back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then DJ Dallas, same thing, obviously Jacoby Myers, same thing.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's pretty incredible.

  [SPEAKER_00]: what they were doing, how they are operating.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so Keith Taylor, somebody they wanted to bring back and he will be back for the Jaguars in 2026.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think this guarantees him a roster spot, but it does show that they wanted him back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They didn't want him to hit free agency.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They wanted him back to compete in this building.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Pretty cool.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He didn't have any defensive reps for the Jaguars after he signed, which again was at the very end of the year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and he didn't have any special teams or apps outside of what three turn reps in the wild card round.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he was not the partner turner, but he's on the partner turn team.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, he tailed.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Back with the Jacksonville Jaguar, they've been making some moves.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're gonna continue to make some moves.

  [SPEAKER_00]: March 9th is when legal tampering begins.

  [SPEAKER_00]: March 11th is the official start of the New League year and you're going to see a lot happen between now and then.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So things are starting to heat up obviously the combines this week.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then the final thing we're going to touch on here today is defense of assistant Mario Jeboreal hired as the Raiders offensive run game coordinator on Kubiax new staff.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jeboreal came over with

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jaguar is former defensive coordinator from Atlanta and they the new staff in 2025 kept him on.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They liked what he brought to the table obviously as a defensive coach.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I believe he worked more with the defensive front and he has offensive line coaching experience which is why you like they took the Jaguar's defensive assistant and made him their run game coordinator.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has experience as an offensive line coach.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So there's more and more guys now that have experience on both sides of the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that that can be a big benefit for coaches in general.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But overall, I don't think that this is a massive loss.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Each time the Jaguar is so far, this offseason have lost a coach no matter how high ranking they are.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They have replaced them, so we'll see another defensive assistant added to the Jaguar's coaching staff in the next couple weeks or so.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think there's a good chance of that, but we'll have to keep an eye on it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And again, I don't think that this is some major loss, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying he's not a good coach, but just in terms of the hierarchy and the pecking order and it's not like he's somebody that is Anthony Camponele's right hand man that he's had on his staff for a long time that like he just can't afford to lose.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's great for Jebbery Al, who's, you know, getting a upgraded title in the NFL and hopefully he can continue his as a coach.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Clint Kubiak is a great offensive mind,

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Raiders seem to be cursed with their coaching hires as of late, so a best of luck to him, but that'll do it here.
