Detroit Lions fans, rejoice — two of the team’s top defensive stars, Kerby Joseph and Ifeatu Melifonwu, are on the mend and looking at a potential return in 2026. Joseph, a first-team All-Pro with nine interceptions last season, is recovering from a knee injury while managing personal matters. Melifonwu, a Pro Bowl safety who led the team in tackles and interceptions before tearing his Achilles in December, is progressing well in rehab.
