Genesee Township Hydrant Flushing Update | Flint News
Genesee Township is quietly flushing fire hydrants nightly from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. through October 4th—perfect timing so most folks won’t even notice. Expect your water to look cloudy or rusty as sediment stirs up, but don’t panic: just let the faucet run a few minutes to clear it. Avoid washing bright whites during those hours to prevent stains. It’s all part of routine maintenance to keep your water safe and flowing smoothly. Got questions? Call the Department of Public Works.
