- 0:00Speaker 1: I give Jesus a big, big, big, big hand.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Amen. Praise the name of the Lord. Wow, it's good
- 0:11Speaker 2: to see everyone.
- 0:13Speaker 1: And the Bible says, unto the Lord shall the gathering
- 0:16Speaker 1: of his people be.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Pastor Daly, thank you. We honor you, honor your dear.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Wife and the entire leadership. May God bless you in
- 0:26Speaker 1: Jesus' name. Allow me to appreciate Mayor Harold Moore. He
- 0:31Speaker 1: flew in from the United States for this. This man
- 0:34Speaker 1: is an incredible man. When he called that he was coming,
- 0:39Speaker 1: I said, no, no, no, you don't have to fly in.
- 0:40Speaker 1: He's been around all the Sound of Revival conferences in
- 0:44Speaker 1: North America.
- 0:45Speaker 2: And I said, just sit. You're a politician. You're a mayor.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Don't let them drive you because you're traveling, doing evangelism.
- 0:54Speaker 1: And he didn't even answer me again. Next thing I
- 0:56Speaker 1: heard was that he was already in the plane coming.
- 0:59Speaker 2: So God bless you. It truly is a joy and
- 1:04Speaker 2: an honor.
- 1:04Speaker 1: By the way, I appreciate and honor everyone, every man
- 1:07Speaker 1: of God, every person who is worthy of honor.
- 1:10Speaker 2: We give Jesus the praise.
- 1:13Speaker 1: I'm here because I believe in what God is doing
- 1:16Speaker 1: in your life and in the territory.
- 1:18Speaker 2: This is why we've been sent.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Every time he grants us the grace to strengthen one
- 1:23Speaker 1: another and to speak over the territory, we embrace it
- 1:28Speaker 1: as an opportunity.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I'm here to.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Help someone see clearer, better. I'm here to help someone
- 1:35Speaker 1: access the grace needed for the hour. God sends us
- 1:39Speaker 1: as instruments of mercy to help give clarity, perspective, to
- 1:44Speaker 1: help build. And it's one of the burdens that God
- 1:48Speaker 1: has given me in this season, a.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Renewed burden to disciple nations.
- 1:55Speaker 1: There is need for the body of Christ across every
- 2:00Speaker 1: territory to come into the fullness of the stature of
- 2:05Speaker 1: the measure of Christ. The church is at the mercy
- 2:11Speaker 1: of the men and the women who teach and serve
- 2:16Speaker 1: the wisdom and the grace of God. And if we
- 2:19Speaker 1: are limited, we will produce a sincere but ill-prepared people.
- 2:25Speaker 1: We cannot give beyond a level of access, access to light,
- 2:29Speaker 1: access to wisdom, access to power. And so every time
- 2:34Speaker 1: God provides an opportunity like this to meet people beyond
- 2:40Speaker 1: the local assembly, for me, it gladdens my heart because
- 2:45Speaker 1: only God can tell who is standing before me.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Only God can tell.
- 2:49Speaker 1: The Bible says, now are we the sons of God
- 2:52Speaker 1: and it does not yet appear. You see, you can
- 2:57Speaker 1: predict fairly how many fruits can come from a tree,
- 3:02Speaker 1: but you never can tell how many trees can come
- 3:05Speaker 1: from a seed.
- 3:07Speaker 2: That one seed planted, nurtured. Hallelujah.
- 3:13Speaker 1: And so my charge for us tonight as we begin
- 3:16Speaker 1: these sessions is, number one, let your hunger rise. Let
- 3:21Speaker 1: your hunger rise. The word of God produces when it
- 3:25Speaker 1: meets a hungry heart. Number two, let's adopt the principle
- 3:31Speaker 1: that was given to Moses. For many years, Moses had
- 3:34Speaker 1: been in Egypt. In fact, he was being prepared to
- 3:37Speaker 1: be the next Pharaoh. But when he encountered the burning bush,
- 3:41Speaker 1: the first instruction he was given was take off your shoes.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Your shoe is a representation of your experience, your knowledge
- 3:50Speaker 1: about God so far. Sometimes when you encounter him, he says,
- 3:55Speaker 1: take it off. Because I'm about to show you something
- 3:58Speaker 1: that may be foreign to your experience, but needed for
- 4:01Speaker 1: your destiny. I'm praying that somewhere in the course of
- 4:06Speaker 1: this meeting, someone will really find grace. Someone will encounter wisdom.
- 4:12Speaker 1: That mighty men and women will arise.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Amen.
- 4:15Speaker 1: You have invested your time. Many of you perhaps have
- 4:18Speaker 1: traveled outside of Leicester. Some of you within the city. Regardless,
- 4:23Speaker 1: and for those who are following online, look beyond a man.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Let your eyes be on Jesus. Let your eyes be
- 4:29Speaker 1: on his wisdom, his light, and he will do us good.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Can we lift up our hands in one minute and
- 4:35Speaker 1: ask again that the spirit of grace will breathe upon us.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Go ahead. Thank you, Jesus.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Speak to our hearts. Light our candles. Give us understanding.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Bring us to a state of maturity and stature by
- 4:59Speaker 1: the Spirit.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Empower us.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Strengthen the body of Christ within this territory, O God.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Let your name be glorified. Let your name be lifted.
- 5:17Speaker 3: We lift you high Yahweh Yahweh be lifted high Yahweh Yahweh.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Sing we lift you.
- 5:34Speaker 3: High Yahweh Yahweh.
- 5:40Speaker 2: We lift you.
- 5:42Speaker 3: High Be lifted high.
- 5:55Speaker 4: We lift you high. We lift you high. Yahweh, Yahweh.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Be lifted high.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Yahweh.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Thank you, Spirit of Grace. We receive understanding. Let the
- 6:22Speaker 1: book be open. Let the scrolls be unlocked. Guide our
- 6:26Speaker 1: destinies to a place of perfection and power. In Jesus'
- 6:31Speaker 1: name we pray. God bless you, please. You may be
- 6:35Speaker 1: gloriously seated.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I understand we're dealing with the subject of the blessing
- 6:44Speaker 1: for this conference and I always like to teach along
- 6:52Speaker 1: the theme given to me.
- 6:58Speaker 2: But for the.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Purpose of stability, I would request that you allow me
- 7:04Speaker 1: just digress for a few minutes to lay a very
- 7:07Speaker 1: strong foundation. Because you see, as we grow into maturity
- 7:13Speaker 1: and stature, one of the things we must learn is
- 7:17Speaker 1: the value and the supremacy of the will of God.
- 7:22Speaker 2: The will of God.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Now, everything in the kingdom revolves and must revolve around.
- 7:30Speaker 2: The will of God.
- 7:31Speaker 1: What gives value to every teaching, every desire, every pursuit,
- 7:39Speaker 1: is that it must be connected directly to the birthing
- 7:43Speaker 1: of the will of God. Is someone learning already? So
- 7:47Speaker 1: in the kingdom, when you attain unto maturity as a believer,
- 7:52Speaker 1: and let this also be a great encouragement to perhaps
- 7:57Speaker 1: a man of God, a woman of God, that in
- 8:01Speaker 1: teaching concepts in the kingdom, you have to first let
- 8:05Speaker 1: the people know that nothing in the kingdom in itself
- 8:11Speaker 1: profits the believer except and unless it is.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Connected to the will of God.
- 8:17Speaker 1: So if you're teaching healing, if you're teaching prosperity, if
- 8:20Speaker 1: you're teaching fruitfulness, if you're teaching.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Advancement, it becomes vanity if left alone.
- 8:28Speaker 1: The strength of that teaching is when you can connect
- 8:32Speaker 1: that pursuit, that desire.
- 8:34Speaker 2: To the will of God. Do you understand me so far?
- 8:36Speaker 2: That means if you.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Just want to prosper for the sake of prosperity... if
- 8:41Speaker 1: you want to be healed for the sake of healing,
- 8:44Speaker 1: one's self becomes the object of the pursuit, then it
- 8:48Speaker 1: is vanity.
- 8:49Speaker 2: It holds no weight in the spirit.
- 8:52Speaker 1: What gives our pursuit its value is that it is
- 8:56Speaker 1: connected to kingdom come.
- 8:58Speaker 2: It is connected to the program of God.
- 9:01Speaker 1: So when people understand the will of God, and get
- 9:05Speaker 1: to a point where they are determined to see His
- 9:07Speaker 1: kingdom come and His will done, then you have no
- 9:10Speaker 1: restraint in teaching them the things that equip them.
- 9:13Speaker 2: To do so. Healing, prosperity.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Now you can teach it with confidence, knowing that you
- 9:20Speaker 1: are teaching a people who are already cultured. They have
- 9:23Speaker 1: an orientation that my life and everything about.
- 9:26Speaker 2: It must be for His glory and for His kingdom.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Are we learning now? It is a risk.
- 9:32Speaker 1: To begin to explore certain dimensions.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Of the provisions, the riches that are in Christ.
- 9:41Speaker 1: And to help people understand it without first connecting them
- 9:46Speaker 1: to Christ, to his program, to his purposes. What will
- 9:50Speaker 1: happen is that that knowledge will become like the tree
- 9:53Speaker 1: of good and evil. It, number one, will bring enlightenment.
- 9:58Speaker 1: But with enlightenment, it will bring corruption. So you will
- 10:02Speaker 1: find the people who rejoice at increase, rejoice at prosperity,
- 10:07Speaker 1: but Jesus is not at the back of their joy.
- 10:10Speaker 1: They are only rejoicing because they have been better equipped
- 10:13Speaker 1: to be selfish. They have been equipped, knowledge- has fortified
- 10:18Speaker 1: self in them so they rejoice because.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Self is finding expression. Are we learning already?
- 10:25Speaker 1: I'm saying that as a background because in teaching very
- 10:27Speaker 1: delicate subjects like the blessing, it matters to me and
- 10:32Speaker 1: it matters, you know, the Bible calls us master builders.
- 10:37Speaker 1: And the Bible says that every man of God must
- 10:40Speaker 1: be a wise master builder.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Are we together? And you have to build according to patterns.
- 10:47Speaker 1: So that whilst people enjoy and receive the revelations and
- 10:52Speaker 1: the blessings that follow those revelations, they don't fuel self.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You bring them to a point where they realize that
- 10:59Speaker 1: all of the provisions that are made available for me
- 11:02Speaker 1: in Christ is not just for self-aggrandizement.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 11:07Speaker 1: That at the end of it, it is to equip
- 11:10Speaker 1: me to be an effective witness and to birth the
- 11:13Speaker 1: will of God.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Everything around the kingdom.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Now, the word gospel, I'm still digressing. Wherever we stop,
- 11:21Speaker 1: thank God we have two other sessions. But this foundation
- 11:25Speaker 1: is important. The word gospel does not just mean good news.
- 11:29Speaker 1: It is a declaration of glad tidings. But in that,
- 11:34Speaker 1: according to scripture, there are seven distinct gospels. The most
- 11:41Speaker 1: popular that we know is called the gospel of salvation.
- 11:46Speaker 1: It's a declaration of the love of the Father revealed
- 11:50Speaker 1: in and through the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus. But one
- 11:53Speaker 1: of those gospels for our discussion tonight is the gospel
- 11:56Speaker 1: of the kingdom. And although it is by the same
- 12:02Speaker 1: Lord and the same Spirit, the dynamics differ. When you
- 12:06Speaker 1: discuss the gospel of salvation, in that narrative, Jesus is
- 12:11Speaker 1: revealed as Savior. Man is revealed as Savior. A helpless
- 12:16Speaker 1: personality unable to save himself by any work of the
- 12:19Speaker 1: law whatsoever. The father in the narrative of the gospel
- 12:24Speaker 1: of salvation is the initiator of the process that demonstrates
- 12:28Speaker 1: his love.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Are we together? And so man really does not do anything.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Man has the privilege of watching a spectacular display of love.
- 12:38Speaker 1: That God so loved the world and he proved that
- 12:41Speaker 1: love by giving his son.
- 12:43Speaker 2: And Jesus came, died, paid the price. Are we together?
- 12:46Speaker 2: But when you.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Now teach the gospel of salvation, in that narrative, Christ
- 12:52Speaker 1: is no longer a savior.
- 12:54Speaker 2: He is king.
- 12:57Speaker 1: And the helpless personalities called men, they are no longer
- 13:03Speaker 1: helpless because at that point.
- 13:04Speaker 2: They are saved, they are empowered. Are we together? Are
- 13:06Speaker 2: we together? but then there is an orientation that they sustain.
- 13:10Speaker 1: They now know that God has a program, God has
- 13:13Speaker 1: an agenda, and that their lives must.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Be about birthing the will of God.
- 13:18Speaker 1: And it is from that standpoint that you begin to
- 13:21Speaker 1: explore everything in the kingdom, prosperity, health.
- 13:25Speaker 2: So if I ask you, why do you want to
- 13:27Speaker 2: be healed?
- 13:28Speaker 1: I am not convinced until your explanation ends up revealing
- 13:31Speaker 1: the will of God. Why do you want to prosper?
- 13:35Speaker 1: If you say, well, I'm tired of suffering. Lester does
- 13:38Speaker 1: not seem to open up. That's a sincere explanation, but
- 13:42Speaker 1: it is not kingdom because Christ and his will is
- 13:45Speaker 1: not captured in your explanation. Is someone understanding now? We
- 13:49Speaker 1: become a matured people, not just when we have so
- 13:53Speaker 1: many scriptures in our minds, but when we get to
- 13:56Speaker 1: a point where our wills can die so that his
- 14:01Speaker 1: will is birthed, his will is revealed. And don't get
- 14:05Speaker 1: me wrong, if you truly understand the will of God,
- 14:08Speaker 1: you will know that the will of God is all
- 14:10Speaker 1: about your profiting.
- 14:12Speaker 2: So that it does not look like he's such a
- 14:14Speaker 2: selfish person.
- 14:15Speaker 1: He says, I know the thoughts that I think towards you,
- 14:18Speaker 1: Jeremiah 29, 11, they are thoughts of peace and not
- 14:22Speaker 1: of evil to bring you a future and an expected end.
- 14:25Speaker 2: So God is all about you.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Whilst we were yet sinners, not even asking, not praying,
- 14:32Speaker 1: not demanding for salvation. He went out of his way.
- 14:35Speaker 1: And if he gave his son, will he not give
- 14:37Speaker 1: you all things to enjoy?
- 14:39Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 14:40Speaker 1: Praise the name of the Lord. Someone say, let your
- 14:42Speaker 1: will be done. One more time, say, let your will
- 14:45Speaker 1: be done. And let me just connect that very quickly,
- 14:50Speaker 1: and then we'll hopefully begin our discussion. What exactly is
- 14:53Speaker 1: the will of God for man? We have to understand this.
- 14:57Speaker 1: What is the will of God? Now, Theologically speaking, there
- 15:02Speaker 1: are two dimensions of God's will. Number one, there's what
- 15:06Speaker 1: we call the written will of God. That means, or
- 15:09Speaker 1: the generic will of God, the will of God for
- 15:12Speaker 1: all men. It is not unique to any individual. Are
- 15:15Speaker 1: we together? It is every time you find a man,
- 15:19Speaker 1: you can be sure that that is God's will for
- 15:21Speaker 1: that man. And it is written in scripture that God
- 15:25Speaker 1: desires that all men be saved, number one. And then
- 15:29Speaker 1: number two, that they come unto the knowledge of the truth.
- 15:34Speaker 1: So for every man you see, you can be sure
- 15:37Speaker 1: that preaching Christ to them is not going out of
- 15:39Speaker 1: the will of God. Helping them to be part of
- 15:42Speaker 1: a family that builds them spiritually. You don't need a
- 15:45Speaker 1: prophecy on that. Are we together now? It is the
- 15:48Speaker 1: will of God. So there is the generic or written
- 15:51Speaker 1: will of God as captured in scripture. God desires for
- 15:56Speaker 1: all men to come into the fullness of sonship. The
- 15:59Speaker 1: Bible calls it the hope of his calling. That when
- 16:02Speaker 1: he got us saved, there was an intent in his heart.
- 16:05Speaker 1: that we structurally grow and attain maturity through sonship. Because
- 16:09Speaker 1: an heir, for as long as that heir is a child,
- 16:13Speaker 1: Galatians chapter 4 from verse 1, he differeth not from
- 16:16Speaker 1: a slave, even though he be Lord of all.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 16:21Speaker 1: So that even though we are saved, if we remain children,
- 16:24Speaker 1: we will never be able to release the.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Riches that are captured in the God life.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Because the life we have received, manifesting the riches, the
- 16:33Speaker 1: glory that is embedded in that life, is knowledge dependent
- 16:37Speaker 1: and maturity dependent.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Knowledge dependent.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Some of you right here as parents, in your wheel
- 16:45Speaker 1: right now, you have, perhaps you have children who are
- 16:48Speaker 1: not even up to teenage age. But there is a
- 16:50Speaker 1: will for them. But you're not going to give them
- 16:53Speaker 1: access to it.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Are we together? Maybe not even a will.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Maybe you've purchased something for them, some shares, investments, and
- 17:01Speaker 1: you are thoughtful enough. Even as much as you love them,
- 17:04Speaker 1: you know that until they attain a state that you
- 17:07Speaker 1: consider maturity enough, you will not.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Grant them access to it. So in as much as.
- 17:13Speaker 1: We are saved, we have received the riches that have
- 17:15Speaker 1: come from this life. It will not profit us, I
- 17:18Speaker 1: tell you. And your difference, the difference between you and
- 17:21Speaker 1: one who is unsaved will barely be you. It's only
- 17:24Speaker 1: from a spiritual standpoint that we can really tell the difference.
- 17:28Speaker 1: But as far as manifesting victory and dominion is concerned,
- 17:31Speaker 1: the difference will not be there because eternal life, releasing
- 17:35Speaker 1: the riches that eternal life captures is knowledge dependent and
- 17:40Speaker 1: maturity dependent.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Is someone following me so far? Praise the name of
- 17:47Speaker 2: the Lord. Yeah.
- 17:48Speaker 1: That means the more we press to gain knowledge, understanding,
- 17:53Speaker 1: and attain unto maturity, the more we are able to
- 17:56Speaker 1: release that which is invested in our spirit for the
- 17:59Speaker 1: nations to see.
- 18:00Speaker 2: And at the end of it, Christ will be glorified.
- 18:03Speaker 1: John 15 and verse 8, Herein is my Father.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Glorified, that ye bear much fruit.
- 18:10Speaker 1: I hope you know fruitfulness is proof that the tree
- 18:13Speaker 1: has become matured. A tree only becomes fruitful when it's
- 18:17Speaker 1: grown beyond a certain limit. It will be unfair for
- 18:20Speaker 1: you to plant and by next week you expect fruit. No,
- 18:24Speaker 1: you are patient. You know the tree is growing. But
- 18:27Speaker 1: then it gets to a point where you begin to
- 18:29Speaker 1: see the indices that attest to the fact that growth
- 18:32Speaker 1: has happened.
- 18:34Speaker 2: John 15, 16.
- 18:36Speaker 1: You have not called me, but I have called you
- 18:39Speaker 1: and ordained you that you should go and bear fruit
- 18:43Speaker 1: and that your fruit should remain.
- 18:45Speaker 2: If someone is learning so far, say amen. Praise the
- 18:48Speaker 2: name of the Lord.
- 18:49Speaker 1: So I'm talking about the will of God that number one,
- 18:52Speaker 1: there is the generic or written will of God. We
- 18:55Speaker 1: still have that, all of us. Number two, there is
- 18:58Speaker 1: what is called the revealed will of God. Now this
- 19:02Speaker 1: is the revealed of God, the will of God that
- 19:06Speaker 1: is revealed to you on demand. Because your destiny will
- 19:12Speaker 1: require progressive.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Revelations of God's will.
- 19:15Speaker 1: There is a generic will that guides you, but progressively
- 19:19Speaker 1: your call, direction, that which God wants you to do
- 19:23Speaker 1: per time and per season. And you will need the
- 19:25Speaker 1: revealed will of God. And that's where the Holy Spirit comes.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Are we together? That the Holy Spirit is a revealer
- 19:31Speaker 2: of the will of God.
- 19:33Speaker 1: No man knows what is in the heart of man,
- 19:35Speaker 1: save the spirit that is in that man. So also
- 19:37Speaker 1: no man knows what is in the heart of the Father,
- 19:40Speaker 1: save the spirit of the Father. And that the Holy
- 19:42Speaker 1: Spirit has the exclusive right to search the mind of
- 19:46Speaker 1: the Father and to reveal to the saints that which
- 19:49Speaker 1: has been stolen.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Ordained for their glory. Hallelujah. The revealed will of God.
- 19:57Speaker 1: And perhaps some of you have heard me teach that
- 19:59Speaker 1: in learning the will of God, there are three biblical ways.
- 20:02Speaker 1: I don't know why God is just routing me through
- 20:05Speaker 1: this path, but there are three ways that to accessing
- 20:09Speaker 1: the will of God.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Number one, Scripture.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Number two, the revelatory ministry of the Holy Spirit. Number three,
- 20:16Speaker 1: the prophetic. This is how we're able to extract the
- 20:19Speaker 1: will of God for our profiting. Again, number one, Scripture.
- 20:23Speaker 1: The first way we know the will of God is
- 20:26Speaker 1: by learning Scripture. The Bible says in Luke chapter 4
- 20:30Speaker 1: that Jesus stood up to read and it was given
- 20:32Speaker 1: to him the scroll of Isaiah and he found there
- 20:35Speaker 1: where it was written concerning him.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Hebrews 10, 7.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Lo, I come in the volume of the book as
- 20:43Speaker 1: it is written of me to do your will.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Praise the name of the Lord. Number two, the revelatory
- 20:51Speaker 1: ministry of the Holy Spirit. That the Holy Spirit guides,
- 20:55Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit reveals. As they set themselves to pray,
- 20:59Speaker 1: the Holy Ghost spoke to them, separate me Paul and Barnabas.
- 21:05Speaker 2: And then number three, the prophetic ministry.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I have spoken to you in similitudes and I have
- 21:10Speaker 1: spoken to you in dreams all by the prophetic. The prophetic,
- 21:14Speaker 1: if under the influence of the word of God, can
- 21:18Speaker 1: produce power in that it is able to bring direction
- 21:22Speaker 1: and to bring guidance.
- 21:23Speaker 2: It's someone learning. Praise the name of the Lord.
- 21:26Speaker 1: So I'm hoping that as we explore this topic, it
- 21:31Speaker 1: would not just be a carnal celebration of the awareness
- 21:34Speaker 1: of victory, But now with this background, everything I'm about
- 21:38Speaker 1: to say, because we're going to go deep into this
- 21:41Speaker 1: concept of being blessed to really understand.
- 21:43Speaker 2: What it is.
- 21:44Speaker 1: And if you do understand, it will truly change your life.
- 21:48Speaker 1: And you will now appreciate this digression that has come
- 21:51Speaker 1: as a disclaimer. So that in rejoicing, it tames your
- 21:56Speaker 1: appetite and makes sure that your joy is only purified
- 22:00Speaker 1: by its connection to the will of God. So that
- 22:03Speaker 1: as you leave this place tonight, you will live rejoicing,
- 22:06Speaker 1: knowing indeed that I am blessed. But you will not
- 22:08Speaker 1: speak as a carnal man.
- 22:10Speaker 2: You will speak as one who is enlightened.
- 22:12Speaker 1: That heaven will rejoice over your awareness of this revelation.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Because you would now become an advantage to the kingdom.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Are we learning?
- 22:23Speaker 1: So can we begin? Let's pray in the spirit for
- 22:25Speaker 1: one minute. Thank you, Father, for wisdom. Thank you for grace.
- 22:33Speaker 2: It is about your glory.
- 22:39Speaker 1: To see you high and lifted up. You are shining
- 22:45Speaker 1: in the light of your glory.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Pour out your power and love as we sing holy, holy, holy.
- 22:57Speaker 3: We'll see you high and lifted up.
- 23:03Speaker 2: You're shining in the light of your glory.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Pour out your power and love.
- 23:12Speaker 2: As we sing holy, holy, holy. Thank you Holy Spirit.
- 23:19Speaker 2: In Jesus much less name. We pray.
- 23:22Speaker 1: So I'll be teaching on the blessing. The blessing. Tonight
- 23:29Speaker 1: will be part one. And we'll take it from there.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Wherever we stop, we'll pray.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Go home. Come back. Try again. Go home. Come back.
- 23:41Speaker 1: And then see how far we're able to cover. Amen
- 23:44Speaker 1: and amen. Anyone ready? I rejoice in advance. I rejoice
- 23:52Speaker 1: in advance. Someone's life will change.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Hallelujah. Okay.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Ephesians chapter 1. We're reading the first three verses. Ephesians
- 24:10Speaker 1: chapter 1. Paul, now notice who he's talking. He starts
- 24:17Speaker 1: by telling you he's an apostle.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Of Christ by the... Does it make sense to you
- 24:23Speaker 2: everything we've discussed now?
- 24:26Speaker 1: So you can trust everything he's saying because he's telling
- 24:29Speaker 1: you that his life and his apostleship is not just
- 24:33Speaker 1: about the issues he's discussing, but that ultimately it is
- 24:37Speaker 1: the will of God.
- 24:38Speaker 2: The will of.
- 24:39Speaker 1: God is what drives him. So Paul, verse 1 again, media. Paul,
- 24:46Speaker 1: and I'm not seeing verse 1, I'm seeing verse 2.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Can we try again? Just do what you did the
- 24:51Speaker 2: first time. I saw that one. Hallelujah.
- 24:54Speaker 4: Okay.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Okay. No, just go to verse 1. Let's finish verse 1.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Let's take it slowly. Thank you.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God.
- 25:06Speaker 1: So this is the person speaking now. Who is he
- 25:09Speaker 1: speaking to? To the saints who are in Leicester. Now,
- 25:18Speaker 1: it's important for you to know so you know whether
- 25:20Speaker 1: the discussion is your business or not. There are certain
- 25:24Speaker 1: discussions that are not your business. So you have to
- 25:27Speaker 1: know who he's speaking and who he's speaking to. This
- 25:31Speaker 1: gives you contextual understanding in discussing scripture.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Are we together? So to the saints.
- 25:37Speaker 1: So if you are the saints, those saved, those who
- 25:40Speaker 1: love Jesus, who are faithful in Christ Jesus, then every
- 25:44Speaker 1: other thing I'll be discussing is for you.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Are we learning?
- 25:49Speaker 1: So to the saints who are in Ephesus. Now we're
- 25:52Speaker 1: in Leicester, so we'll not say Ephesus. The saints in
- 25:55Speaker 1: Leicester and the faithful in Christ Jesus.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Verse 2. Grace, I like this.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and
- 26:05Speaker 1: our Lord Jesus Christ. Shout verse 3 with me, please,
- 26:09Speaker 1: if you love Jesus. When you see it projected, media,
- 26:11Speaker 1: we're ready for verse 3. Ephesians 1 and verse 3.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Okay, let's go. One, two, go. Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Don't rush it. Don't rush it at all.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Who was? Now, there are many things God has done
- 26:37Speaker 2: for us. He saved us. Are we together?
- 26:41Speaker 1: But now Paul is saying he had blessed us. Not
- 26:45Speaker 1: will bless us. He had blessed us. And then he
- 26:49Speaker 1: tells us the extent of the blessing. That he's blessed
- 26:52Speaker 1: us with every spiritual blessing. Every spiritual blessing. But now
- 27:02Speaker 1: there's an issue we need to discuss. Because he tells
- 27:05Speaker 1: us the location. that these spiritual blessings are in heavenly places.
- 27:11Speaker 2: And the code for access is the Christ.
- 27:18Speaker 1: So that if your life fails to capture and reveal
- 27:20Speaker 1: these blessings, it does not change the fact that God
- 27:24Speaker 1: has blessed you with every spiritual blessing.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 27:29Speaker 1: In heavenly places in Christ. So let's leave that scripture
- 27:34Speaker 1: there to revisit it. Let's go to Genesis chapter 12.
- 27:38Speaker 1: The Bible talks about a very interesting man who is
- 27:44Speaker 1: very interesting because the major world religions today, as we.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Know, all came out from that one man. Christianity.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Are we together? Judaism and all its expressions. And then Islam.
- 28:03Speaker 1: All came out from that one.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Man, Abraham.
- 28:08Speaker 1: So the Bible tells us that this was a man
- 28:11Speaker 1: who was in a nation called Ur of the Chaldeans.
- 28:17Speaker 1: And I don't want to go into the background, but
- 28:21Speaker 1: if we had the time, I would have told you
- 28:23Speaker 1: and shown you from Scripture that the first person to
- 28:26Speaker 1: be called was not really Abraham. The first person God
- 28:29Speaker 1: called was his father, Terah. But for whatever reason, he
- 28:34Speaker 1: did not respond. And that tells you how God is.
- 28:37Speaker 1: He comes to you and proposes a superior life, but
- 28:41Speaker 1: he gives you the opportunity to partner with him or
- 28:44Speaker 1: reject him. The Bible says, as many as received him.
- 28:48Speaker 1: That means not all will receive him, unfortunately. Now the
- 28:52Speaker 1: Lord said to Abraham, get out of your country, from
- 28:55Speaker 1: your family, and from your father's house to a land
- 28:59Speaker 1: that I will show you. Verse 2, reading to 3.
- 29:02Speaker 1: It says, I will make you a great nation. And
- 29:07Speaker 1: I will bless you. And make your name great. Do
- 29:13Speaker 1: you know we can spend all night just discussing what
- 29:15Speaker 1: this means? I'm telling you, we can take the whole
- 29:19Speaker 1: day just discussing verse 2. It's a very profound scripture.
- 29:24Speaker 1: I will make your name great. You can be great
- 29:26Speaker 1: without your name being great.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:30Speaker 1: If you are great without your name being great, your
- 29:33Speaker 1: greatness ends when you leave. How many of you have
- 29:37Speaker 1: heard the word J.P.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Morgan? Chase?
- 29:44Speaker 1: How many of you have heard whatever names that represent dynasties?
- 29:49Speaker 1: That's a great name. An individual can be great. But
- 29:53Speaker 1: if your name is not great, they cannot perpetuate greatness.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Nobody can come under the covering of your name. You see,
- 30:01Speaker 1: in giving inheritance, don't tempt me to digress.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Help me. I'm a pilot tonight. Just help me. Let's
- 30:09Speaker 2: fly straight. No detours. Let's get to where we're going.
- 30:12Speaker 2: But I need to say this. One of the things
- 30:15Speaker 2: the Bible calls inheritance is a good name. Are we together? Yes.
- 30:21Speaker 1: That in all your giving, whatever you give your children
- 30:24Speaker 1: or those, if you just give them physical things, you
- 30:27Speaker 1: really did not help them.
- 30:30Speaker 2: A good name.
- 30:31Speaker 1: To be better desired than material wealth. Anyway, so back
- 30:36Speaker 1: to our discussion. I will make your name great and
- 30:38Speaker 1: you shall be.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Take note.
- 30:40Speaker 1: You shall be a blessing. I will bless you. And
- 30:44Speaker 1: you shall be a blessing. Verse 3. I will bless
- 30:48Speaker 1: those who bless you. And I will curse him who
- 30:53Speaker 1: curses you. And in you shall the families of the
- 30:57Speaker 1: earth be blessed. If that is you, say amen. Now, generally,
- 31:03Speaker 1: across the body of Christ, we use the word blessed
- 31:07Speaker 1: or blessing.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Bless you. We use it to greet.
- 31:10Speaker 1: You know, most of that was an extra from the
- 31:14Speaker 1: way the Jews salute one another. They greet shalom, peace,
- 31:20Speaker 1: blessings to you, and all of that. And it was
- 31:22Speaker 1: Bible culture to speak blessings. You see, Paul would begin
- 31:25Speaker 1: or end his conversations with, you know, with blessings and
- 31:29Speaker 1: so on and so forth. And the Psalmist used that
- 31:31Speaker 1: a lot. For instance, Psalm 1, please give it to us.
- 31:34Speaker 1: It says, blessed is the man. Blessed is the man.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Psalm 1, when you read from verse 1 to 3,
- 31:41Speaker 1: blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel
- 31:44Speaker 1: of the ungodly, who stands nor stands in the way
- 31:46Speaker 1: of sinners. nor sits in the seat of the scornful.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I don't want to go ahead of myself, just leave
- 31:51Speaker 1: us one there. By the time we get to verse 3,
- 31:55Speaker 1: he begins to describe expressions that attest to whether or
- 31:59Speaker 1: not that man is blessed. So you can use verse
- 32:02Speaker 1: 3 to verify verse 1. If a man tells you
- 32:05Speaker 1: I'm blessed and eventually you do not find the expressions
- 32:08Speaker 1: in verse 3, something is wrong with his understanding or
- 32:12Speaker 1: wrong with that reality.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 32:15Speaker 1: So we use the word blessing or we use the
- 32:18Speaker 1: word blessed. And it's important for us to really understand
- 32:22Speaker 1: what does it mean to be blessed. When I say
- 32:26Speaker 1: bless you or God bless you or you are blessed
- 32:30Speaker 1: or I call you a blessing.
- 32:31Speaker 2: We use it in English. We use it culturally.
- 32:35Speaker 1: But for the most people, we've not taken our time.
- 32:37Speaker 1: And I'm telling you, even if you search the dictionary,
- 32:40Speaker 1: it only goes so far. But it's a very pregnant word.
- 32:45Speaker 1: that I'm hoping we'll explore in the course of this conference.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Are you ready for it? So the word blessed, generally speaking,
- 32:55Speaker 1: refers to favor, refers to fruitfulness, refers to advancement, refers
- 33:03Speaker 1: to preservation and protection. I'm just broadening the scope for you.
- 33:13Speaker 1: So generally... When you hear the word blessed, these are
- 33:18Speaker 1: the similes that come to your mind.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Fruitfulness, favor, preservation, advancement.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Everything around that is captured in that word blessed. But
- 33:31Speaker 1: let's do a little Hebrew and Greek just to put perspective.
- 33:35Speaker 2: So the Hebrew word, there are many Hebrew words, as
- 33:38Speaker 2: you know.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Hebrew is a very deep word, and the Bible was largely,
- 33:43Speaker 1: the Old Testament was largely written in Hebrew. And then
- 33:48Speaker 1: the New Testament had a combination of Greek, Aramaic, and
- 33:53Speaker 1: you know, here and there you would find other expressions,
- 33:56Speaker 1: Latin and all of that, but largely it's believed and
- 33:59Speaker 1: agreed that the Old Testament was largely composed of Hebrew,
- 34:03Speaker 1: whilst the New Testament was had a lot of Greek expressions.
- 34:07Speaker 1: And so the word blessing, really, there are many words,
- 34:11Speaker 1: but I want to select just one. It's the word barak. B-A-R-A-K.
- 34:17Speaker 1: The word blessing is the word barak. There are other
- 34:22Speaker 1: expressions like esher. There are other expressions like baraka that
- 34:27Speaker 1: talks about being a blessing.
- 34:30Speaker 2: It's a blessed blessing.
- 34:31Speaker 1: But generally, the word barak, the root word barak has
- 34:35Speaker 1: to do with stooping down, kneeling down, and communicating honor.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 34:42Speaker 1: So when we talk about the word blessing as the
- 34:44Speaker 1: word of blessed, barak, the Hebrew word, it gives an
- 34:48Speaker 1: expression of going down on your knees, bowing down, and
- 34:54Speaker 1: and communicating honor.
- 34:57Speaker 2: Now you can.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Extend that word to me kneeling down, stooping down in
- 35:01Speaker 1: respect and then giving someone a gift, presenting something of value.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Is someone learning now? Yes.
- 35:10Speaker 1: So when you kneel down and worship, when we say
- 35:15Speaker 1: bless the Lord, how do you bless the Lord?
- 35:19Speaker 2: By giving him money? No.
- 35:21Speaker 1: How do you bless the Lord? You see that the honor,
- 35:24Speaker 1: the worship is blessing the Lord. So when you go
- 35:28Speaker 1: down on your knees in worship as you love him,
- 35:31Speaker 1: as you just pour out your heart to him, you
- 35:34Speaker 1: are blessing the Lord. It's the word Barak. Is someone
- 35:38Speaker 1: learning now? Yeah, so that's very important. And then it
- 35:41Speaker 1: extends to other words like Baraka. We're blessing now. So
- 35:46Speaker 1: generally it has to do with praising and it has
- 35:49Speaker 1: to do with stooping down to show respect and in
- 35:52Speaker 1: that communicating benevolence in terms of gifts or whatever it is.
- 35:56Speaker 1: But let's look at the Greek word. I don't want to,
- 36:00Speaker 1: you know, stretch us beyond necessary. The Greek word for blessing,
- 36:06Speaker 1: and there are two of them. One is called elogia. Now,
- 36:10Speaker 1: and that's even the root word where you get, well,
- 36:14Speaker 1: let's leave that. But blessing, eulogia, if you care for
- 36:18Speaker 1: the spelling, e-u-l-o-g-i-a. E-u-l-o-g-i-a. And it's from two words. I'm
- 36:27Speaker 1: not going to go into the details. It simply means
- 36:29Speaker 1: a good word. A good word. The Greek does a
- 36:34Speaker 1: better presentation of what we are looking for.
- 36:37Speaker 2: So the word eulogia means a good word.
- 36:39Speaker 1: That means a pronouncement that works for your favor. A
- 36:44Speaker 1: pronouncement that leads to your advancement. A pronouncement that brings protection.
- 36:51Speaker 1: a pronouncement that brings preservation. Who is learning now?
- 36:54Speaker 2: So the word eulogia has to do with declarations.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Whilst barak has to do with worshiping, obeisance, and all
- 37:02Speaker 1: of that, eulogia has to do with pronouncements that produce effects, visible,
- 37:09Speaker 1: evident effects, effects of advancement, effects of blessings.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 37:14Speaker 1: Now you understand what the Lord did to man. The
- 37:16Speaker 1: Bible says, and God blessed him. And God blessed him
- 37:22Speaker 1: and said to him, be fruitful. It was a divine
- 37:27Speaker 1: pronouncement that must produce an effect.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Who is learning so far? Another word.
- 37:34Speaker 1: It's still a Greek word and I think that's one
- 37:37Speaker 1: that now that one really means blessed itself. That means
- 37:41Speaker 1: an expression of it. So one Greek word eulogia has
- 37:46Speaker 1: to do with the speakings that produces the evidence. Whereas
- 37:50Speaker 1: another has to do with becoming an embodiment is.
- 37:54Speaker 2: The word makarios. Makarios.
- 37:57Speaker 1: The word makarios there does not just talk about the pronouncement.
- 38:02Speaker 1: It means living in the evidence. Makarios means being fortunate.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Makarios means you have been preferred. That means you have
- 38:11Speaker 1: become an embodiment of the favor. It's not just the
- 38:14Speaker 1: pronouncement that was made on you, but you have come
- 38:17Speaker 1: as the evidence.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Who is learning now?
- 38:24Speaker 1: Makarios means fortunate. It means privileged. It means happy. It
- 38:32Speaker 1: means spiritually prosperous. Are we following so far? I just
- 38:39Speaker 1: needed us to have these foundations. For the purpose of
- 38:42Speaker 1: our discussion, we're going to dwell on the Greek expression
- 38:47Speaker 1: because that's what captures all that we're doing. That pronouncement
- 38:52Speaker 1: and then you becoming an evidence. Giving you all of
- 38:56Speaker 1: the evidence. And all through our discussion, there are three.
- 39:00Speaker 1: I'm going to break my discussion into three. Number one,
- 39:04Speaker 1: we're going to be understanding what the Bible calls the
- 39:07Speaker 1: blessing of Abraham. Number two, we will understand what the
- 39:13Speaker 1: Bible calls the blessing.
- 39:16Speaker 2: They are not the same. Then number three, we will
- 39:18Speaker 2: understand what the Bible calls blessings. Three things. One, the
- 39:24Speaker 2: blessing of Abraham. Number two, the blessing.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Number three blessings you see we use these words in
- 39:33Speaker 1: church and in a very well-meaning way but they are
- 39:36Speaker 1: not the same it's the reason why it does not
- 39:38Speaker 1: produce power in our lives who is who is hearing
- 39:41Speaker 1: so far now I need to tell you this both
- 39:43Speaker 1: God and men can bless men God can bless men.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Genesis 128. God blessed man. Both God and men can bless.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Blessing is not exclusively reserved to God. Genesis 128. And
- 40:02Speaker 1: God blessed them. Talk to me, who blessed them? God
- 40:06Speaker 1: blessed them and said unto them, In Genesis 1.22, he
- 40:13Speaker 1: blessed creation, he.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Blessed the fishes, and God blessed them.
- 40:18Speaker 1: I hope you know that the same blessing.
- 40:20Speaker 2: This is interesting, isn't it?
- 40:23Speaker 1: Most people do not know why the sea, the waters,
- 40:26Speaker 1: the air is rich and fruitful.
- 40:28Speaker 2: It's because God blessed them. Look at it.
- 40:32Speaker 1: We focus on Genesis 1, 28, and that's wonderful, but
- 40:36Speaker 1: we forget that something happened in Genesis 1, 22. If
- 40:40Speaker 1: it ever works, it's because there is a blessing on it.
- 40:44Speaker 1: And God blessed them saying, be fruitful and multiply and
- 40:48Speaker 1: fill the waters. He gave them fruitfulness, he gave them multiplication,
- 40:53Speaker 1: but he did not give them dominion.
- 40:55Speaker 2: You see.
- 40:56Speaker 1: So he said, fill the waters and let the birds
- 41:00Speaker 1: multiply on the earth.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Can you imagine?
- 41:02Speaker 1: So God blesses creation. God blesses men. How about men?
- 41:06Speaker 1: In Genesis 1, 12, 1 and 3, we already read
- 41:09Speaker 1: that he spoke and proposed a blessing to Abraham. Now
- 41:13Speaker 1: let's look at men blessing men. Genesis 24. Give us
- 41:17Speaker 1: verse 16. Genesis chapter 24. So Rebekah is about to
- 41:23Speaker 1: leave her family. Are we Bible students? Rebecca is leaving
- 41:27Speaker 1: her family to go to Isaac. Finally, they found a
- 41:30Speaker 1: wife for Isaac called Rebecca. And they blessed Rebecca and
- 41:35Speaker 1: said unto her, Our sister, may you become the mother
- 41:40Speaker 1: of thousands and ten thousands. Can I prophesy over a
- 41:43Speaker 1: daughter of Abraham here? In the name of Jesus Christ,
- 41:46Speaker 1: may you become a mother of thousands.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Now listen, listen.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Already, you are wise enough to know That is not
- 41:55Speaker 1: just saying your womb should give birth to 1,000 people.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Even if you get pregnant every week. That already should
- 42:07Speaker 1: inform you. You need to understand the thinking of the
- 42:11Speaker 1: people who wrote. By what they are saying.
- 42:13Speaker 2: Are we together? The mother of thousands, of 10,000.
- 42:18Speaker 1: And may your descendants possess the gates of those who
- 42:22Speaker 1: hate them. Have this a good prayer in the name
- 42:25Speaker 1: of Jesus Christ.
- 42:26Speaker 2: May your descendants possess the gates of those who hate them.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Please be seated. So God can bless and men can bless.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Is it in your Bible that Isaac was about to die?
- 42:47Speaker 1: Then he calls his son Esau. He says, come, make
- 42:51Speaker 1: me venison such as I love. I want to eat
- 42:55Speaker 1: that venison so that my soul will be delighted and
- 42:59Speaker 1: I will bless you and die.
- 43:03Speaker 2: And Esau leaves to the wilderness to go and catch.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Now isn't it interesting that what Esau went to look for,
- 43:12Speaker 1: Isaac already had in his house.
- 43:14Speaker 2: So why did he ask him to go to the field? Hallelujah.
- 43:20Speaker 1: He wanted him to bring the fruit of his values.
- 43:24Speaker 1: So he would speak to him. And once that happened unfortunately.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Isn't it amazing that this same Rebecca again. She calls
- 43:37Speaker 1: Jacob and says I've heard something. A blessing is about
- 43:41Speaker 1: to leave your father. But we have an advantage because
- 43:45Speaker 1: he is blind. His blindness can be an advantage.
- 43:50Speaker 2: You see that. May you not be blind. Because blindness
- 43:57Speaker 2: can cost you. It can.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Hallelujah.
- 44:00Speaker 2: And so he said, okay, I will prepare this for you.
- 44:03Speaker 1: And Jacob became afraid. Jacob said, no, my father may
- 44:06Speaker 1: be blind, but he.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Will feel me. My brother is hairy and I'm not hairy.
- 44:11Speaker 2: He said, don't worry. We'll get something and just create
- 44:14Speaker 2: and simulate. He said, please. So I don't end up
- 44:16Speaker 2: securing a course. He said, don't worry. I know he's
- 44:19Speaker 2: my husband. I know what to do.
- 44:22Speaker 1: And then the Bible says that he went, you find
- 44:24Speaker 1: that in Genesis 27, and he goes to get everything
- 44:29Speaker 1: and meets his father and says, Father, I'm Esau.
- 44:32Speaker 2: I brought it.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Somewhere in the course of this conference, I'll prophesy verse
- 44:37Speaker 1: 20 for you. Even though he was lying, but there's
- 44:39Speaker 1: a powerful principle there.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 44:43Speaker 1: And he met him, he said, how is it that
- 44:45Speaker 1: you have gotten it so quickly?
- 44:46Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 44:48Speaker 1: He said, because the Lord God has brought it to me.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Even though he was lying, let me use it as
- 44:54Speaker 1: a prophetic word. The things that others are looking for,
- 44:58Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus, you will get it quickly.
- 45:01Speaker 1: Because my God will bring it to you. How is
- 45:04Speaker 1: it that you got the job so quickly? How is
- 45:07Speaker 1: it that the lines, you got everything so quickly? I
- 45:11Speaker 1: release grace upon you as I speak right now. Grace
- 45:15Speaker 1: upon you. Help us under the anointing in the name
- 45:17Speaker 1: of Jesus.
- 45:21Speaker 2: Please be seated. It's too early. Let's leave that. It's
- 45:29Speaker 2: too early. It's too early.
- 45:35Speaker 1: He said, because the Lord God has brought it to me.
- 45:38Speaker 1: And so he convinced his father. But he said something, ah,
- 45:43Speaker 1: I have many things to say. Holy Spirit, help me.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Verse 21.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Jacob, or Isaac.
- 45:50Speaker 1: He said, come so that I may fill you, my son,
- 45:54Speaker 1: whether you are really Esau or not. Verse 22. Leaders,
- 45:59Speaker 1: this is one way to discern deception. The voice is
- 46:03Speaker 1: the voice of Jacob, but.
- 46:05Speaker 2: The hand are the hands of Esau. Can you imagine?
- 46:11Speaker 1: He went near to Isaac and said, my father. He
- 46:14Speaker 1: felt him and said, no, something in my spirit. It
- 46:18Speaker 1: is true that it is The voice betrays you. It
- 46:21Speaker 1: is the voice of Jacob. But the hand, it's true
- 46:25Speaker 1: that they are the hands of Esau. Anyway, he now
- 46:28Speaker 1: speaks a blessing over him. And Jacob receives it. And
- 46:32Speaker 1: as soon as Jacob leaves, the Bible says Esau returns.
- 46:37Speaker 1: And Esau says, my father, I brought the meal. And
- 46:41Speaker 1: he said, what is this? I mean, what has happened
- 46:44Speaker 1: to you? What has happened? I just, I was deceived.
- 46:49Speaker 1: I have spoken the blessing already. The Bible says a
- 46:52Speaker 1: hardworking adult with skill, ability to fend for himself, began
- 46:58Speaker 1: to cry. And Isaac trembled exceedingly, verse 33, and said, ooh,
- 47:05Speaker 1: where is the one who hunted and brought it to me?
- 47:07Speaker 1: I ate of it and I have blessed him. And
- 47:10Speaker 1: indeed he shall be blessed, verse 34. When Esau had
- 47:16Speaker 1: the words, he cried, question, what really is the blessing?
- 47:20Speaker 1: Because Esau was not a lazy man. We're not talking
- 47:23Speaker 1: of someone who is not productive. We're talking of an adult.
- 47:27Speaker 1: What makes an adult to cry with very sin in
- 47:30Speaker 1: your hand?
- 47:31Speaker 2: It means if you.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Don't understand that blessing, there is no guarantee to live
- 47:36Speaker 1: in a victorious life. Whatever will make an adult cry
- 47:40Speaker 1: and say, Father, He said bless me also. Find a
- 47:44Speaker 1: way of doing it. If it was all about pronouncement.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Couldn't he just.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Repeat it again? 35.
- 47:56Speaker 1: He said your brother came with deceit. And has taken away.
- 48:02Speaker 1: What did he take away?
- 48:03Speaker 2: 36. And Esau said. is he not rightly named Jacob?
- 48:13Speaker 1: For he has supplanted me these two times. He took
- 48:16Speaker 1: away my birthright and he took away my blessing. And
- 48:20Speaker 1: he said, have you not reserved a blessing for me?
- 48:24Speaker 1: Watch this, 37. Then Isaac answered and said, indeed, I
- 48:29Speaker 1: have made him your master. When did that happen? I
- 48:38Speaker 1: have made him your master. And all his brethren I
- 48:43Speaker 1: have given to him as servants. With grain and wine
- 48:48Speaker 1: I have sustained him. What shall I do for you now,
- 48:51Speaker 1: my son?
- 48:53Speaker 2: Verse 38.
- 48:55Speaker 1: And Esau said to his father, Have you only one blessing,
- 48:58Speaker 1: my father? Bless me also, O my father. And Esau
- 49:01Speaker 1: lifted up his voice and cried. I just want to
- 49:04Speaker 1: show you one scripture and then we'll get back to
- 49:05Speaker 1: our discussion. And Isaac, his father, said unto him, Behold.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Your dwelling shall be of the fatness of the earth
- 49:13Speaker 1: and of the dew of the heaven from above. Verse 40.
- 49:17Speaker 1: By your sword you shall lead. and you shall serve
- 49:21Speaker 1: your brother and it shall come to pass. Now, we'll
- 49:27Speaker 1: leave this till we get to Jesus Christ. It shall
- 49:30Speaker 1: come to pass that under a certain condition, when you
- 49:35Speaker 1: become restless, you shall break that yoke. Give us NLT
- 49:45Speaker 1: or NIV. It doesn't just call it yoke. It shall
- 49:51Speaker 1: come to pass when you become restless that there is
- 49:55Speaker 1: a burden. If you can't get it, that's fine.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 49:59Speaker 1: It talks about breaking the dominion. The dominion. That's the
- 50:04Speaker 1: word I'm looking for. Of your brother over you.
- 50:07Speaker 2: Anyway. Anyway.
- 50:11Speaker 1: I just wanted you to see the implication of being blessed.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Adults cried in Bible days. Because they did not get blessings.
- 50:19Speaker 1: Today most believers just trivialize it. And we generally say
- 50:23Speaker 1: I am blessed. But we don't expect anything to happen
- 50:25Speaker 1: in our lives as an advantage. Praise the name of
- 50:30Speaker 1: the Lord. But I pray that things will change from
- 50:33Speaker 1: this conference. You believe that say Amen. So in the
- 50:38Speaker 1: Old Testament. The blessing. was an empowerment to prosper. In
- 50:44Speaker 1: the Old Testament, the blessing was largely concerned with being
- 50:49Speaker 1: empowered to prosper, empowered to advance, empowered.
- 50:55Speaker 2: To be fruitful, and to be preserved. Are we together?
- 50:59Speaker 1: So throughout the Old Testament, everywhere you see the blessing,
- 51:03Speaker 1: it largely had to do with a priestly and prophetic
- 51:07Speaker 1: pronouncement that produced an effect of favor An effect of fruitfulness.
- 51:14Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 51:15Speaker 1: It was an empowerment that made an individual, any individual whatsoever,
- 51:19Speaker 1: to be preserved. It is safe for you to look
- 51:22Speaker 1: at the Bible and every expression in the Old Testament
- 51:26Speaker 1: of preservation, advancement, etc.
- 51:29Speaker 2: It was credited to the blessing. Are we learning now?
- 51:33Speaker 1: Now, but something, the dynamics of the.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Blessing began to change. as we approach the New Testament.
- 51:38Speaker 1: In fact, the foundation of it began with Father Abraham.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Now we're delving into the blessing of Abraham. If you're writing,
- 51:47Speaker 1: please write that down. The blessing of Abraham. I want
- 51:50Speaker 1: us to discuss the blessing of Abraham. Haven't laid the foundation,
- 51:54Speaker 1: just a general understanding. Now most times to the average believer,
- 51:59Speaker 1: and please by no means don't find any offense at all.
- 52:02Speaker 1: When we say the blessing of Abraham, here's what most
- 52:05Speaker 1: believers think. Cars, houses, a job, promotion, and they are
- 52:11Speaker 1: not necessarily wrong, except that that's not really what the
- 52:15Speaker 1: Bible calls the blessing. In fact, when the Bible mentions
- 52:19Speaker 1: the word blessing, it has nothing to do with material things.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Material things only come. as an attestation that you have
- 52:28Speaker 1: been blessed.
- 52:29Speaker 2: Are we together? Praise the name of the Lord. So
- 52:31Speaker 2: when we talk about.
- 52:32Speaker 1: Blessings in the kingdom or the blessing now, I'd like
- 52:35Speaker 1: you to take your mind away from a good house,
- 52:38Speaker 1: a good car. Those things are by their eventual product.
- 52:43Speaker 1: You can have all those things without being blessed. Diligence
- 52:46Speaker 1: can bring them. The blessing is higher, greater, by far
- 52:52Speaker 1: more superior than any physical or material thing.
- 52:55Speaker 2: Even though it does control them. Are we together? Now
- 52:59Speaker 2: let's examine the blessing of Abraham.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Isaiah chapter 51 from verse 1 and 2. The blessing
- 53:06Speaker 1: of Abraham. If you are learning so far, say Amen.
- 53:09Speaker 1: Please be patient with me as I build this. We've
- 53:12Speaker 1: established a number of things that one, the blessings have
- 53:15Speaker 1: to do with pronouncements that produce effects. Effects such as peace, prosperity, happiness, etc.
- 53:22Speaker 1: And that God can bless and men can bless. We're
- 53:27Speaker 1: still working together on that? Alright, so it says, happened
- 53:30Speaker 1: to me. Ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek
- 53:34Speaker 1: the Lord. It says, look unto the rock from whence
- 53:38Speaker 1: ye were healed and to the hole of the pit
- 53:41Speaker 1: when ye were digged.
- 53:42Speaker 2: Verse 2.
- 53:44Speaker 1: It says, look unto Abraham your father. The word look
- 53:50Speaker 1: unto means understudy. He is the portrait of what I
- 53:54Speaker 1: call the blessing or a blessed man. If you want
- 53:57Speaker 1: to study what it means to be blessed by God
- 54:00Speaker 1: in the Bible, your study is not complete until you
- 54:03Speaker 1: do a case study. Now the way God works is
- 54:06Speaker 1: that sometimes in helping us understand him, he will call
- 54:10Speaker 1: men and deal with those men in a certain way
- 54:13Speaker 1: that they become an embodiment of certain possibilities. So every
- 54:18Speaker 1: time you don't understand what he's saying, he will refer
- 54:21Speaker 1: you to that man. If we are talking about a
- 54:25Speaker 1: blessed man, Abraham is the Bible's portrait of a blessed man.
- 54:30Speaker 2: If we're talking about encounters, Jacob, are we together?
- 54:34Speaker 1: His encounter in Genesis 32 is a portrait of what
- 54:38Speaker 1: the Bible calls encounter. If we're talking wisdom, Solomon, for instance,
- 54:42Speaker 1: are you seeing now? So there are individuals who embody
- 54:45Speaker 1: certain spiritual possibilities so that in studying their lives, you
- 54:49Speaker 1: can learn the ways of God. So look unto Abraham.
- 54:54Speaker 1: The word look there does not just mean you can't
- 54:56Speaker 1: even find Abraham now. He's long dead. But he means
- 54:58Speaker 1: understudy him. There is a way that I led Abraham.
- 55:03Speaker 1: And if you follow that path, you will eventually arrive
- 55:07Speaker 1: an embodiment of a blessed man. It says, I called
- 55:11Speaker 1: him alone and blessed him and increased him. So let's
- 55:16Speaker 1: study the life of Abraham to understand what it means
- 55:19Speaker 1: to be blessed. The Bible calls it the blessing... Of Abraham.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Genesis chapter 12, 1 to 3. Write that for reference.
- 55:27Speaker 1: We already read that. We won't go back to it again.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Then let's go to Genesis 17. We'll look at 6
- 55:32Speaker 1: and 7. We're doing a bit of Bible study. And
- 55:38Speaker 1: I will make thee exceeding fruitful. This is still God
- 55:41Speaker 1: speaking to Abraham. And I will make nations of thee.
- 55:45Speaker 1: And kings shall come out of thee. Verse 7.
- 55:50Speaker 2: I will establish my covenant. Watch this. Between me and
- 55:54Speaker 2: thee and thy seed.
- 55:57Speaker 1: After thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant. What
- 56:02Speaker 1: is a covenant? To be a God unto thee and
- 56:05Speaker 1: to your seed. So when you say the God of Abraham.
- 56:13Speaker 1: you are not just naming God after Abraham. Are we together?
- 56:18Speaker 1: He's saying that I have an everlasting covenant to you
- 56:22Speaker 1: and to your seed that I will be a God
- 56:27Speaker 1: unto thee and to your seed that is after thee. Now,
- 56:31Speaker 1: Genesis chapter 15, please. Genesis chapter 15. Let's connect a
- 56:36Speaker 1: few things very quickly. From verse 1. Genesis 15 from
- 56:41Speaker 1: verse 1. After these things, the word of the Lord
- 56:45Speaker 1: came to Abraham in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abraham,
- 56:48Speaker 1: I am thy shield and your exceeding great reward. And
- 56:54Speaker 1: Abraham said, Lord God, what will thou give me? Remember,
- 56:57Speaker 1: at this time, he's still without Isaac. He's still without
- 57:00Speaker 1: a child. What will thou give me, seeing that I
- 57:03Speaker 1: go childless? And the steward of my house is Eliezer
- 57:06Speaker 1: of Damascus.
- 57:07Speaker 2: Verse 3, reading to 6.
- 57:10Speaker 1: And Abraham said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed.
- 57:16Speaker 1: And lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
- 57:20Speaker 1: No one, he's trying to say. And behold, the word
- 57:24Speaker 1: of the Lord came to him saying, Now everybody listen.
- 57:27Speaker 1: This shall not be your heir, but he that shall
- 57:30Speaker 1: come out from your own bowels shall be your heir.
- 57:34Speaker 2: Verse 5.
- 57:35Speaker 1: And he brought him forth abroad. He said, Look towards
- 57:39Speaker 1: heaven and try to count the stars.
- 57:42Speaker 2: Do you know what he's doing?
- 57:43Speaker 1: I'll explain to you shortly. If thou are able to
- 57:46Speaker 1: count them and he said, so shall your seed be. Finally,
- 57:51Speaker 1: verse 6, Abraham believed in the Lord and it was
- 57:56Speaker 1: credited to him for righteousness. So there was a conversation
- 58:04Speaker 1: that happened between God and Abraham. The Bible says that
- 58:09Speaker 1: God kept proposing to Abraham that he was going to
- 58:11Speaker 1: become a father of great nations.
- 58:13Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 58:14Speaker 1: But for some reason, and according to scripture, it took
- 58:18Speaker 1: Abraham a long time to believe God. Because Abraham was
- 58:21Speaker 1: not interested in having multitudes children as the stars or
- 58:24Speaker 1: the seashore.
- 58:25Speaker 2: He just needed a child. Are we together?
- 58:29Speaker 1: All his concern was to have a child. And God
- 58:32Speaker 1: was proposing something bigger, better, greater. And it kept frustrating Abraham.
- 58:38Speaker 1: And God didn't seem to get his attention in agreeing
- 58:41Speaker 1: on that promise and that covenant. And here's how God
- 58:44Speaker 1: helped him. He called him one night and tells Abraham,
- 58:47Speaker 1: look at the stars. Try to count them. Then he
- 58:50Speaker 1: will count, count, and then... You know, loose counting. He says,
- 58:54Speaker 1: that's the way your seed will be. Finally, even though
- 58:58Speaker 1: he had no child, Abraham believed God. And the Bible
- 59:03Speaker 1: says it was credited unto him for righteousness.
- 59:08Speaker 2: Now keep that scripture.
- 59:09Speaker 1: Turn with me to Romans chapter 4 this is where
- 59:14Speaker 1: we thank God for this noble apostle an apostle of
- 59:18Speaker 1: apostles indeed begin from verse 1 Paul now makes reference
- 59:23Speaker 1: to that encounter and he now gives us a biblical
- 59:27Speaker 1: contextual perspective.
- 59:29Speaker 2: What shall we say then?
- 59:32Speaker 1: That Abraham our father as pertaining to the flesh has found.
- 59:37Speaker 1: For if Abraham were justified by works, he had wherefore
- 59:42Speaker 1: to glory but not before God.
- 59:45Speaker 2: Verse 3. for give us.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Niv i'm a king james person some of you are
- 59:51Speaker 1: not getting the d and l so just give us
- 59:53Speaker 1: niv or something so that um that will help us
- 59:58Speaker 1: at least for now for now we'll go back to
- 59:59Speaker 1: we're kings we're kings we'll go back to kjv so
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: are we.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: On niv.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Okay abraham believed god And it was credited to him
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: as righteousness.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: You see that now?
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: So Paul is making reference to Genesis 15.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Now, verse 4.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Now, to the one who walks, wages are not credited
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: as a gift but as an obligation.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Paul is explaining.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: However, to the one who does not walk but trusts God,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: who justifies the ungodly. Now, Paul is telling us that
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: that thing has nothing to do with children. The blessing
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: of Abraham is a mystery that was hidden, that Paul
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: now was unveiling to us.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: That what you call the blessing of Abraham is a
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: mystery that asks out how to be justified by faith.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: To the one who does not walk but trusts God,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: who justifies the ungodly, listen, their faith is credited as righteousness.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: Verse 6.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: However, David said the same thing when he spoke of
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: the blessedness of the one who God credits righteousness apart
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: from walk.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Verse 7 now.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: He said, blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: And whose sins are covered. Final verse.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Blessed is the one who sinned. The Lord will never
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: count against them.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: So look up.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: What was he discussing in that whole conversation? Just help
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: those under the anointing.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: Now look at this.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: He's saying, Paul is teaching us that the issue of stars,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: the issue of children, whatever it is, to the carnal man,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: he's just looking at the story. But Paul is saying
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: there is a deeper mystery in that story. And if
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: all you look at is the story, then you've not
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: gotten the revelation. That out of that story, the mystery
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: is justification by faith. How a man will believe God...
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Over something your ability cannot produce. And that the moment
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: you believe God, it is credited to you. That was
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: the formula that was used to impart salvation. So a
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: message comes to believers. And even though we do not,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: it looks impossible. We believe and we receive the blessing
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: of Abraham. So the blessing of Abraham is not cars,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: is not houses. It is justification by faith.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Is someone learning?
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: Galatians chapter 3.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Give us verse 13. I love, I love. Galatians 3.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: I love your presence. I love, I love. I love you, Jesus.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: I love, I love. I love your presence. Now read
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: for you.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Christ, Paul again, has redeemed us. He's talking redemption now.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: From the curse of the law by becoming a curse
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: for us. For it is written, curse is everyone who
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: is hung on the cross or on the pole.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: To what end? 15.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Give it to us from verse, let's go back to KJV. 13, 14,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: let's go back to 14.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: Media. That the. Talk to me everybody. That the. Might
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: come on who? Now questions.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: How does the blessing of Abraham come upon the Gentiles?
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Because we are not part of his natural descent. So
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: how are we supposed to receive that? If all he
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: was talking about was physical things. You don't qualify to
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: inherit anything from Abraham. Because we are not Jews historically.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Are we together? We are Gentiles. So that talk should
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: not even affect us. But now he says. Christ.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: He introduces a factor. That Christ has redeemed us from
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: the curse of the law. Being made a curse for us.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: For it is written. Cursed is he that hangs on
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: a tree. And the reason for all of that. Verse 14.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Is that the blessing of Abraham. Replaced that expression.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: That justification. By faith. May come upon the Gentiles. Through
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: Jesus Christ.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: So the next time you hear the blessing of Abraham,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: what it means is the formula Abraham used to be
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: credited as righteous is the gift we are given.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: What is the formula? The word is nidi.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: The word comes to you in your mouth and in
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: your heart if you believe it is credited to you.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: That you have no power to save yourself. You have
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: no power to lift yourself.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: But that you can believe in the finished work of Christ.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: Believing that he came as a propitiation for your sin.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: That he hung upon the tree. Are we together now?
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: That the verdict is that all have sinned and have
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: fallen short of the glory of God. But that you
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: believe that report as frail as you are. Not feeling righteous.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: Not feeling worthy like Abraham. If you believe immediately, it
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: is credited to you for righteousness. The blessing of Abraham
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: is not cars. It is not houses. No. The blessing
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: of Abraham is justification by faith.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Now but listen. Justification by faith is not the end.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: It is a means. You see that it does not
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: end there.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: So receiving the blessing of Abraham is a passage to
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: go further.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: That leads you to receiving the blessing.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Without receiving the blessing of Abraham, you cannot receive the blessing.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: And if you do not receive the blessing, you cannot
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: have blessings. So the journey of a blessed man does
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: not start with intellect. No, no, no, no, no. It
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: starts with receiving the blessing. I will show you how
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: this happened. Just be patient with me. It says that
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles through
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Christ Jesus.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: Are you seeing it there?
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: That we might receive the promise. That already tells you
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: what the blessing is. That we might receive the promise
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: of the Spirit still through faith.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: Then it puts a full stop.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: So the end of that journey is that the blessing
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: of Abraham ushers you into receiving the blessing. Whilst the
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: blessing in the Old Testament ended with supernatural pronouncements that
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: programmed you towards a life of grace, this.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: One is beyond a pronouncement.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: It's a personality alongside all his possibilities coming to indwell
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: a believer. The Holy Spirit is called the blessing. Now
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Keep your
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: finger here. I hope you like Bible studies. Find a
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: way of keeping your finger on this scripture because we're
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: coming back.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: Go quickly with me to Psalm 133. Psalm 133. I
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: learned to see like a brat here. Give it to us, please.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: Psalm 133.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: to dwell together in unity.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Are we Bible students? Verse 2.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: It is like the precious ointment upon the head that
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: ran upon the bed, even Aaron's bed, and went down
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: to his garment.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: Verse 3. And as the dew of Haman....
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: And the dew that descended upon the mount of Zion.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: How does that dew come? Descending upon the mount of Zion.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: For there, in that corporate gathering.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: Are we together? The Lord had commanded the.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Go to Acts chapter 2 and verse 1. Now you
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: will see a playing out of this. Acts chapter 2. Remember,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: it says when brethren gather together, something happens. Whatever descends
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: is called what?
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: The... Talk to me. Are we Bible students? that when they.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Gather together that gathering that state among the many things
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: that descend like the dew from zion is the blessing even.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: Life forevermore.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: Now in Acts chapter 2 and verse 1, the Bible
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: says when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: were together in, did they fulfill Psalm 133?
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: Now let's see what is about to come.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Suddenly there was a sound from heaven as of a
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: mighty rushing wind.
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: And it filled the house where they were sitting. Verse 3.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: If you're a believer, there appeared unto them cloven tongues
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: as of fire, and it sat upon each.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: One of them. Number 4. And they were all filled
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: with the... No, you got that wrong. With the... With the...
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Is someone learning? So Psalm 133.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Tells us that in that gathering, descending from Zion like
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: the dew of Haman, God has commanded that the blessing
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: should rest, even life forevermore. They are about to act
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: that on the day of Pentecost, never knowing that it
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: was written already.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: They were gathered in one accord suddenly. The blessing. Not
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: a pronouncement.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: No. In the Old Testament, it was a pronouncement. But
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: this time around, it was beyond just speaking. It was
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: an embodiment of the speakings of God.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: Allos paracletos, they call him. He's a paraclet.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Beyond just empowering you to make progress.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: Is someone learning now?
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: The Bible says he rested on each and every one
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: of them. Each and every one of them. And immediately.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Isaiah 32 and verse 15.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: Became a reality.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: That until the spirit of God. Is poured upon us
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: from on high. Then the wilderness. Is a spiritual language.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: Shall be counted for a fruitful vine. Three thousand people.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: Were saved in one encounter. And from there there was
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: a movement. That has become an unstoppable force today. Is
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: someone learning now? Praise the name of the Lord.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: So sit down.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Let's go back to Galatians chapter 3. We read 13
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: to 15.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: Now jump with me to 26.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: We'll read 26 to 29. If someone is learning, say amen.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Endure sound doctrine. Sometimes the teachings line up online. Connecting
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: scriptures will take a while. But once you are patient,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: you now begin to see the threat. Do you know
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: why I'm stretching you like this? Because conviction is built
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: on understanding. It is not what you do that produces power.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: It's the understanding that supports what you do. So that
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: when you tell someone be blessed or you say I
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: am blessed. These are the revelations that frame. They are
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: like the bolts that tie your faith. It becomes anchored, unmovable.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: For ye are all children of God.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: How? Faith in the similitude of Abraham.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Amen. Are you seeing that now? You became children of
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: adoption by faith. In Christ Jesus, 27. For as many
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: of you who have been baptized into Christ have put
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: on Christ, there is neither Jew... nor Greek. There is
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: neither bond nor free. There is neither male nor female.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: For ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Shout verse
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: 29 if.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: You are a believer. One, two, go.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: And if ye be Christ, then are ye Abraham's seed.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: I will explain to you what that means.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: That you had no business even studying everything God told Abraham.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: Because it was between him and his seed. Unfortunately, the
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: seed was not Isaac. It was his strategy. If the
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: seed was Isaac, God meant Isaac was one child who came.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: So Abraham thought God meant him and Isaac. But Paul
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: came by the Spirit and said no. I have investigated
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: this spiritually. The seed was not Isaac. It was Jesus.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Because Isaac does not have the capacity to bring everyone
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: into that blessing. But through Christ. So that the one
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: who is a Jew. Connected by natural descent. And the
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: one who is alienated. And the proof that we all
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: came to Christ was in Acts chapter 10. Because that
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: was when the salvation of the Gentiles would start. Until then,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: even the Gentiles did not believe. Remember, Paul was angry.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: I mean, Peter now. Peter is having his siesta and
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: all of a sudden, A trance comes before him and
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: he sees all kinds of unclean animals and he's told.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: To kill and he says, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: I'm a Jew.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: We don't do all these kinds of things. They never
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: call clean, unclean, what I have called clean. What's the
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: meaning of this? There's someone waiting for you. Go down
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: and meet them. You will go to the house of Cornelius.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: Are we together now?
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: And when he went there, he now said, wow, while
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Peter yet speak these things, the Bible says, the blessing
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: is Like it came. I hope you know that everyone
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: who received the Holy Ghost in Acts chapter 2 was
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: a Jew. There was no Gentile there. Now the same
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: Holy Ghost. Exactly like it happened. And Peter said what
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: happened to us Jews has now happened to the Gentiles.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Even without circumcision. He said truly God is no respecter
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: of persons. This was his verdict. What he does to
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: the British he does to the Africans. Don't worry, we
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: are coming there. You will now see that Christ has
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: become the equalizer of all things. I can be disadvantaged
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: by my natural descent. I can be disadvantaged by my background.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: But when I come into Christ, my goodness, the Spirit
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: of God in my life has become the advantage, the
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: redefiner of my destiny, the redefiner of my possibilities.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: You believe that? Shout Amen.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: Apostle, I came from a family of idol worship. You
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: are right until you bring Christ into the equation. Apostle
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: I know that by my background we have a we
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: have a track record of diabetes We have a track
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: record of failure you are right, but once the blessing
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: of Abraham once you hear the gospel preach That Jesus
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: loves you listen listen when we go around preaching the
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: gospel is beyond just Christian fanaticism We are bringing people
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: into the blessing The only way to come into the
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: blessing is Is to follow the pattern of Abraham. You
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: hear that report. Then you believe. You don't deserve it.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: But you believe. And like faithful Abraham. It is credited immediately.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: It's a spiritual fact. Your body may not show it.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Your mind may not yet show it. But it's a reality.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: And immediately the Holy Ghost is ready to indwell you. Now.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Hopefully we'll find a place to pray today. Don't miss
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: the remaining part. I will show you how to release
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: the blessing. And you will see that having the blessing
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: is like having a brand new phone. But releasing the blessing,
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: you can have a brand new phone and keep it
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: there forever. Are we together?
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: Yes. You see, what defines our possibilities.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: In life Many times, it's not the love of God
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: because he loves everyone equally. But our possibilities are defined
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: by the extent and the depth of our spiritual understanding.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: What you understand is what can rewrite your possibilities. So
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: you can find two believers saved, but one is taking
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: advantage of these resources that reside in heavenly places in Christ.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: And with those resources, he's commanding such dominion And to
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: the other one, you are wondering, God, why does it
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: look like you are helping one fellow, you are helping.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: One brother, you are.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Helping one sister, you are uniquely anointing this man of God,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: and I'm here. No, it is not the love of Jesus.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: It is the depth of your understanding. I submit to
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: you without sounding arrogant. There are certain things that cannot
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: happen to me. My frame of understanding has risen beyond.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: If Satan will attack me, he will use another strategy.
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: Not certain things. No.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: The revelation is a defense. It's going to be a
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: waste of his time to come through certain things.
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: There are scriptures that have been implanted. They shoot like arrows.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: You see me minister deliverance to people and do all
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: of these things. The reason is because a man of
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: God is like a midwife. You are helping people through
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: the passage. Until they get to that state of perfection.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: The state of perfection is not to be praying deliverance.
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: There is a state of victory. Where the reality of
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: your victory in Christ is seated.
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: Established.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: But on your way there. We will continue to help
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: you while we teach you. Are we together now? It's
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: like someone having a dream now and say, Apostle, I
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: saw a curse on your life.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: Or whatever it is.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: Honestly, I'm not even going to pray about it. The
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: reason is, it's not pride. It's that there's no possibility
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: for imagining that again. I have built a garrison of revelation. Now,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: it takes a while.
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: It takes a while.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: It's like calling me a baby, like an infant, and
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: then I feel offended.
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: I'll be together. My stature has convinced.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: There's no way of my mind thinking of myself as
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: a baby looking for breast milk again.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: That's what God is doing to you.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Some of you, by what you are hearing, you will
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: check and find out that certain diseases. I hope you
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: know that Satan fashions attack based on our gaps in knowledge.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: He does not just attack you. He studies your frame
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: of revelation.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: What do you not know?
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: That defines the way he attacks you. When Jesus was hungry,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: how did he attack him? With the matters of food.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: So Satan does not just come and attack you, no.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: He profiles your spiritual understanding. Because understanding is light in
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: the spirit. It's not hidden. To the degree to which
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: you have understanding, we can know in the spirit when
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: we look at you spiritually. Satan has begot many believers
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: to think. That the way to walk in the blessing
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: is just to believe that a car will come, favor
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: will come. And there's nothing wrong with that. Except that
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: you see, we have faith. A more superior expression of
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: the blessing. They never had the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: But they had speakings. And he backed that speakings.
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: But for us now.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Beyond just a word. The pronouncement still stands. But it
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: is more superior because the Holy Spirit. He indwells every
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: single believer. So that if you never have a chance
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: in your life for someone to make a pronouncement on
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: your life.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: If you are saved and you have the Holy Ghost.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: Now, the Holy Ghost came to cure the reason why
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: Esau cried. Esau cried because the pronouncement was limited. It
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: had left the father. Are we together? Now we don't
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: have to cry. You can't say I got born again
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: at 40. You are not too late. No.
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: Because he came on 30 people. You are not too late.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: The issue of Isaac and Jacob was that he could
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: only come on one person. But now in Christ, my brother,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: my sister, Leicester, UK, Canada, everywhere.
- 1:21:50Speaker 2: Is someone learning?
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, listen to me. I explain to you
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: as we prepare to pray. One of the reasons for
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: the powerlessness of the body of Christ is that we
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: jump at so many things that we've not taken time
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: to build a strong foundation of understanding. There is no
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: strong doctrinal understanding. So as much as we rejoice, yes,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: I'm one with Christ, I'm this, there's no depth of conviction.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: And so while we gyrate and jump in church, in
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: the realm of the Spirit, there is no power to
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: produce an effect.
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: Help that lady under the anointing. Are we together?
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: You see, when you, revelation is like an electromagnetic, it's
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: like a sphere. When you come into a place, you
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: also bring your possibilities with you.
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: That's how it works. That's how it works. Are we together? Preachers,
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: learn this.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: When you come in, it's not just a message you
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: are bringing. No, you are bringing your cloud, your atmosphere,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: your possibilities. There are things that have no business happening
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: to people, but because you have come, the Holy Ghost
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: is riding through the vehicle of your knowledge and is
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: blessing other people. I'll show you an example. How many
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: people prayed in the prison and sang? Was it not
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: just two people? But how many people benefited? Paul and
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: Silas alone prayed. It was not everybody who was praying.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: But at least they did not fight them. But when
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: that Shekinah came. The Bible said all doors. The jailer
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: was about to kill himself. And he said no.
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: We are all safe. We are all safe. We are
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: not in a hurry to go out.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: We understand that the will of God is connected to
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: this deliverance.
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: Let's go to your house. It's about the salvation. Now
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: let me tell you this ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: You see the reason why, Pastor Sam, why the healing
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: ministry seems to have diminished?
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: You know why? Because we're more interested.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: In being called healers than being transmuters of his life.
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: Most of the people, and your pastor has done an
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: intelligent dissertation on, you know, the move of God and
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: all of that.
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: It was part of his Ph.D.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: I am a student of revivals and I've studied the
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: move of God for a bit. I know a bit
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: about the move of God. I can tell you the
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: reason why we fail to see the power of God,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: the reason why the average believer cannot rise to efficiency
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: and stature is because there's been a compromise on the
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: formula for growth. Do you know that there are certain foundations,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: if you do not understand, you will never really get
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: anything right again in the kingdom. It matters who mentors you.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: It matters what they tell you about God. It matters
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: what they tell you about salvation. This is why we
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: travel around, not only ministering to God's people, but strengthening
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: men and women of God to say, come, let's sit
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: on the drawing board. Let's, with all humility, examine these things.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: The powerlessness of the body of Christ is largely the
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: powerlessness of the teachings that come. Because people are empowered
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: by the words. Are we together now?
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: but they can also be weapons of mass destruction. Something
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: you can hear in one sermon will make you a
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: powerless believer forever. Something you can hear through one sermon
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: will make you become a mighty person.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: Is someone learning tonight?
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: So you see, if you really understand the blessing, it
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: should not lead you to just jumping and shouting about cars.
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: It should draw you to the Holy Spirit. Truly, He
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: is the blessing.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: Yes, sir. He is. He is.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: And out of the richness of your fellowship with Him
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: comes power, comes wisdom, comes grace, comes favor.
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: Amen.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: Now, there are many people who want favor isolated from
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit. They want breakthrough isolated from the Holy Spirit.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: Did you see that if the teaching of the blessing
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: was done correctly, it would produce a generation that is
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: deep in their intimacy with God. Not just people who
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: want things. Because the blessing of Abraham has nothing to
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: do with material expressions. It is a formula. Within that discussion,
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: the conversation between God and Abraham was hidden a mystery
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: that Paul unraveled. That is not about the stars. It's
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: not about the sun. It's a formula where God justifies
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: the unjust. A formula that leads you to meet the
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. As mighty as Jesus was and is, he
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: could not do anything until the Holy Spirit came. And
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: he said, I have many things to tell you, to
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: teach you, but ye cannot bear them now.
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: How be it when he, the blessing.
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: The spirit of truth. Now you understand him as an empowerment,
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: but he's more than a pronouncement. In the Old Testament,
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: they did not have the possibility of the Holy Spirit
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: indwelling them.
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: He would come and leave.
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: So the psalmist would say, cast me not away from
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: your presence and take not your Holy Spirit from me.
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: Because he came to rest upon them, perform a task
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: and leave. But now to the believer, we have become
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: his habitation. Now, he comes to rest but utilizing his
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: ministry is a separate dynamics that you'll be learning in
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: the course of this sermon. So when you say I
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: am blessed, if you mean I have some money in
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: my account, no. No, you didn't get that right. If
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: you say I am blessed, meaning I have some academic papers.
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: Before me, well, that's fair, but that's not really it.
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: The correct protocol is the depth of your relationship with
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit.
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: Then it now translates.
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: No matter how rich you are, If you do not
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: have the blessing of Abraham. Justification by faith. You are
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: not blessed. You see that we misuse that word. Blessed
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: means wealth. Blessed means all of that. But in Bible language.
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: when we say a man is blessed, here's what we mean.
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: The man is saved by hearing the gospel and applying
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: the faith like Abraham did.
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: Are we together? Now justified in Christ.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: Number two, that man has received the person and the
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: ministry of the Holy Spirit.
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: And in partnership with the Holy Spirit, he's.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Now accessing the resources necessary That have been kept for
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: us in heavenly places. The resources of faith. The resources
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: of wisdom. The resources of the word. The resources of power.
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: And with these resources. You begin to play life like
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: a chess. You manifest a level of dominion.
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: And power.
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: And power.
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: And power. He blessed them. By saying.
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: But this second Adam and the seed that have come
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: from him, he did not bless us by saying.
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: He blessed us by giving. Are we together? He made
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: a pronouncement on the first Adam.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: But to the second Adam, he went beyond speaking.
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: He gave. He gave.
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: Every time you mention the word blessing, see the cross.
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: Every time you mention the word blessing, see the spirit
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: of God. Every time you mention the word blessing, see
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: that you have legitimate access to wisdom, to favor, to defense,
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: to power.
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: Yes, sir. Now, does that mean pronouncements don't work? No, no, no, no, no.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: We will talk about the activation of the blessing. Because
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: it was while Peter speak. Don't forget that. Speaking does
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: not end. But while he speaks, it is more than
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: just oil that comes.
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: It's the Holy Spirit.
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: God has given me an assignment through the theme of
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: your conference to help you truly understand the blessing. For
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: some of you, you are both happy and disappointed because
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: you see, the idea you came with about the blessing
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: is just to speak upon you that cars should come
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: and houses and you will get all that. Let me
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: tell you, more than it, you will get what brings it.
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: Hallelujah. What you are receiving.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: Tonight, listen to me, ladies and gentlemen, that's.
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: What the Bible calls true riches.
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: I call it the capital that buys money because money
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: itself is a product and there is something that buys it.
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: Believers must be grounded, pastor. Thank you for this conference.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: Believers must be mature. Look at me, believers.
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: We're about to pray. Hear me. One of the things
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: I hope you learn.
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: In this conference is to go back to the root
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: of your spiritual understanding and begin to investigate the things
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: that you have built your faith upon.
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: Do not be ashamed to start again.
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: There are many people, I tell you sincerely, they are
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: building on shadows. Now, I don't mean to speak against
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: pastors and all of that. I'm all for the body
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: of Christ. But perhaps you were saved and you never
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: had the opportunity to be under a system of structured
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: spiritual guidance to learn doctrine methodically, line upon line. You
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: will be surprised how many pastors do not understand the
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: rudiments of salvation. How then do you talk of the
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: business of power and then to be trusted with God's
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: program across the nations?
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: No.
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: It takes more than the awareness of his love for you.
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: there are things you must know. I write these things
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: to you that ye may know.
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: You may know. Hallelujah. So let me summarize it this way.
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: Outside of the blessing of Abraham.
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: That leads you to the blessing, there is no possibility
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: to truly be blessed. The only one who can say
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: I am blessed is the one Who has partaken of
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: the blessing of Abraham. And through that has received freely
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: of the blessing.
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: To such a one you can say I am blessed.
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: Are you seeing that now?
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: So the one who is blessed is not just the
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: one who is rich without Christ. Not the one who
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: is prosperous without Christ. Absolutely you can get all these
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: things without Christ. But you see, in describing for you
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: the expressions of the blessing, hopefully tomorrow, you will see
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: the things money cannot buy.
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: He says, peace I give you. My peace, not as
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: the world gives.
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: And then you will bear witness to me by tomorrow
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: how many wealthy people you know who cannot sleep. Because
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: there is a dimension of peace and joy that is
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: of the Holy Ghost. The ability to laugh through storms.
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: These are things money cannot buy. How about the fruit
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: of the I thought you would get it right. The
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: fruit of the.
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: These are things you cannot buy. The fruit.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: The life of Christ. That character. Apostle, I came from
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: an angry family.
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: Anger is... We are like that. Once I'm angry, I
- 1:33:53Speaker 2: give it to you.
- 1:33:54Speaker 4: No.
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: When you encounter the blessing, he.
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: Begins to culture... You.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: See, the blessing, the Holy Spirit comes upon you and
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: is likened to olive. He releases something. There's oil that
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: is released. It's called the anointing within. It begins to
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: do a work in you. Ladies and gentlemen. to produce
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: that Christ-like character. And then, because of the presence of
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: the blessing, the Holy Spirit, capacity is given to you
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: to both know the will of God and understand the
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: modus operandi of the kingdom. Now you can begin to
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: engage the kingdom with intelligence in a way that produces dominion, victory,
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: and profit to your Christian experience. Then you begin to
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: bear fruits 30-fold, fruits 60-fold, and fruits 100-fold. Listen, it
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: is at that level you will lay up wealth, gold
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: like dust. Most people think God does not prosper, God
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: does not lift, God does not favor.
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: You are joking. You don't know the God of the Bible.
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: Yeah. But what he needs is your heart and your understanding.
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: And then you will see levels of favor that you
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: never imagined. Believe me on this, ladies and gentlemen. Now,
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: Let me wrap up. In business, for those of you
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: who are business oriented, there's a law in business. We
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: call it different names. We call it the law of attraction.
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: And it's also a law that has been received in physics, chemistry,
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: you know, Newton's law of gravitation.
- 1:35:38Speaker 2: Remember, this is a campus. Praise the Lord.
- 1:35:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: I'm wrapping up with this. I want to tell you
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: something that is very powerful. And I'll just leave it
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: on that note and then we'll take it tomorrow.
- 1:35:53Speaker 2: People call it, others call it all kinds of things.
- 1:35:57Speaker 2: They call human beings.
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: So the law of attraction purports that men exhibit magnetic properties.
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: And they say that in relation to wealth and opportunities.
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: And they credit it to the cosmic forces. They credit
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: it to mother nature. The concept is not wrong. It
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: is who or what they credit it to that is wrong.
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: It is not the universe.
- 1:36:18Speaker 2: No. There is a God. All blessings come from God.
- 1:36:22Speaker 2: Are we together? But here's the part of it. Allow
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: me for a moment.
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: To borrow and draw from the wells of science as
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: I wrap up. Sir Isaac Newton, in studying the cosmos
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: and in studying bodies, among the many postulations that he
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: came up with, was one that we know for those
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: who are science-based as.
- 1:36:47Speaker 2: The universal law of gravitation.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: And here's what he said, that every body in the
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: universe attracts every other body, right? Which a force, which
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: for any two bodies, he says is directly proportional to
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: square of the distance between them.
- 1:37:10Speaker 2: Let me summarize that.
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: It means that everything you are looking for is also
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: looking for you.
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: Hold on. But there is something it is looking for
- 1:37:23Speaker 2: in you.
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: An instruction has been given creation that the things you
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: look for should only follow you when they.
- 1:37:31Speaker 2: Find out that certain things are intact. I pray that
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: you find a way of believing this. The Jews understand this.
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: This is what makes certain people exhibit magnetic properties. So
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: a person can come into a land like Leicester and
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: find out that just when they arrived, a helper also arrived.
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: It looks like it's coincidence. No, it's a law in
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: the spirit. I'm showing you the implication of the blessing.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: In physics again, please forgive me. That's what we call
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: the law of resonance.
- 1:38:04Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: That when you hit a tuning fork at a certain frequency,
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: Every other body within its vicinity that is at that
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: frequency will vibrate without being touched.
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: This is how it is.
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: As you rise in the spirit knowing God, there is literally.
- 1:38:21Speaker 2: An energy that comes from you.
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: And it begins to resonate with the possibilities that are
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: connected to your destiny.
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: I really want you to believe this.
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: It's why a man of God can step into a land.
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: All of a sudden, a keyboardist comes. A guitarist comes.
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: A media person comes. And you are thinking, how did
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: he get them? You don't get them. They are attracted
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: by the health of your relationships. And listen, the deeper
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: you are with the Holy Ghost, the more you exhibit
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: those magnetic properties. Have you seen how, go to the port,
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: the seaport, you have a number of them here. Have
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: you seen magnet lift cars? Very heavy cars. Very heavy,
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: you know, maybe buses, whatever it is. And you're wondering,
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: I mean, it just comes itself on it and picks
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: it up like a fly.
- 1:39:16Speaker 2: And moves it somewhere else, pick containers. That's how you
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: can be.
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: You can grow your relationship with the Holy Ghost. To
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: a point where you exhibit such strong magnetic influences. Not
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: just to heal, not just to prosper. When you step
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: into a territory, it's like a sound. Deep calls on
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: to deep. Everybody and everything that must partner with your
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: destiny starts to gravitate towards you.
- 1:39:46Speaker 2: It is true.
- 1:39:50Speaker 1: So the next time you ask, how shall these things be?
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: Seeing that I know not a man. The answer is
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: still what Gabriel told Mary, the Holy Ghost. It will
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: always be him. You can't take him away. And we're
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: not just talking of falling down and standing up. No,
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: we have so underutilized his ministry. Especially Pentecostals and Charismatics.
- 1:40:15Speaker 1: We've reduced him to some kind of Pentecostal gibberish. We've
- 1:40:19Speaker 1: not tapped into the wisdom, the health of that relationship.
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: You can prove that you are blessed by the dominion
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: that your life commands. You can prove that you have
- 1:40:29Speaker 1: met Christ. You can prove the health of your relationship.
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: I receive I manifest.
- 1:40:46Speaker 3: Your power and your wisdom till the nations see Jesus.
- 1:40:56Speaker 2: Lifted up.
- 1:40:59Speaker 1: Exalted I receive I manifest your power.
- 1:41:12Speaker 5: Someone say after me, I'm blessed.
- 1:41:27Speaker 2: Now you know what you are saying. Say, I'm blessed.
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: If you mean I'm rich, you are not wrong. If
- 1:41:36Speaker 1: you mean I'm favored, you are not wrong. If you
- 1:41:39Speaker 1: mean I go forward, you're not wrong. To them who
- 1:43:21Speaker 1: are the called according to his purposes, say I am blessed.
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: Because I'm like a tree that is planted by the riverside.
- 1:43:31Speaker 1: I don't wither and I bear my fruit in season.
- 1:43:35Speaker 2: Everything I do prospers. Say I'm blessed.
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: Because I may not see the wind, I may not
- 1:43:41Speaker 1: see rain, but by the Holy Ghost my valley shall
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: be filled.
- 1:43:44Speaker 2: Say I'm blessed.
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: Because by that energizing. I can run through a troop.
- 1:43:55Speaker 1: And by my God. I can leap over a wall.
- 1:43:58Speaker 2: Say I'm blessed.
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: Because I'm a channel of blessing. Everyone's hand I shake.
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: I'm a transmuter of life. I can be a curse.
- 1:44:07Speaker 1: I'm not a burden to my world. I'm a blessing.
- 1:44:10Speaker 2: Say I'm blessed. Blessed. This right here. Is a theology.
- 1:44:21Speaker 2: Of the blessing. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Thank
- 1:44:31Speaker 2: you Jesus. Hallelujah.
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: So we'll tie it here for now. Let me encourage you.
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: Make whatever sacrifice you can. To be here tomorrow. But
- 1:44:48Speaker 1: just tonight. We just laid a few foundations. so that
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: when we build, you'll be like one of your buildings,
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: the tallest, that from that altitude, you.
- 1:44:58Speaker 2: Will watch life and tame it like an animal.
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: I truly believe that there will be remarkable testimonies. Some
- 1:45:09Speaker 1: of you, between tonight and tomorrow, believe me, and I speak.
- 1:45:13Speaker 2: To you by the Spirit of God.
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: You see, one of the ways to receive from men
- 1:45:20Speaker 1: is to find out whether they are blessed. If they are,
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: then trust what comes from them. Because the Holy Ghost
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: becomes in us a river that flows. And the Bible
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: says it gives life. Ezekiel 47, Revelations. John chapter 9,
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: it gives life.
- 1:45:38Speaker 2: Hallelujah.
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: Allow me for one moment to make an altar call.
- 1:45:46Speaker 1: We spoke about the blessing of Abraham. That's where it starts.
- 1:45:51Speaker 1: If you ignore the blessing of Abraham, it's not about
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: the name. It's about the protocol, the strategy. It was
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: just credited to one man.
- 1:46:00Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 1:46:02Speaker 1: Like, imagine you call this hall Joshua Selman Hall. Whether
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: I'm alive or dead, you just gave me the honor
- 1:46:09Speaker 1: for whatever reason. That's what it means. The blessing of Abraham...
- 1:46:13Speaker 1: does not just mean it is Abraham's blessing. His name
- 1:46:16Speaker 1: was tied to it in honor to the fact that
- 1:46:19Speaker 1: he obeyed God, he heard God.
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: Are we together?
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: I'm going to make the altar call in one minute,
- 1:46:26Speaker 1: and please, let's minimize any movement. There will always be
- 1:46:30Speaker 1: an opportunity for someone to make it right. I'm not
- 1:46:33Speaker 1: just calling you to be a Christian. I'm not just
- 1:46:36Speaker 1: calling you to be a fanatic. I'm not calling you
- 1:46:38Speaker 1: tonight to be another religious person. The blessing of Abraham
- 1:46:43Speaker 1: is the key. Now I've explained it. You can begin
- 1:46:46Speaker 1: to come even before I make the call.
- 1:46:48Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 1:46:48Speaker 1: Let me just express what I'm saying. God bless you, sir.
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: If you're coming, please come. You can make your way
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: to the front.
- 1:46:53Speaker 2: Come. Hallelujah.
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: And all others who need to join him, begin to
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: join him before I make that call. You are receiving
- 1:47:03Speaker 1: tonight the blessing of Abraham. You are following that pathway.
- 1:47:07Speaker 1: Thou will show me the path of life. It is
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: in your light. God bless you.
- 1:47:11Speaker 2: Come.
- 1:47:12Speaker 1: I see my precious brothers and sisters coming.
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: Are you celebrating them? Come. Thank you. He gives you
- 1:47:21Speaker 2: a new beginning. There's always a new beginning with him. Come. Come. Come.
- 1:47:39Speaker 2: Let's encourage them. Let's let them know that.
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: This promise is unto you and to your children and
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: to your children's children.
- 1:47:50Speaker 2: Everyone, listen.
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: Let's let them know that they do not have to
- 1:47:54Speaker 1: cry the cry of Esau again.
- 1:47:56Speaker 2: No, it's in abundance for everyone.
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: Esau cried because it was one pronouncement and it went
- 1:48:04Speaker 1: to Jacob.
- 1:48:06Speaker 2: But today we can rejoice.
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: From end to end, from north to south, east and west,
- 1:48:11Speaker 1: everyone can be a partaker.
- 1:48:14Speaker 2: This is powerful. Listen, by the message of God, I've
- 1:48:19Speaker 2: traveled around the world.
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: Taking this glorious gospel the wisdom the life of Jesus
- 1:48:24Speaker 1: can I tell you something I've learned pastor people are
- 1:48:28Speaker 1: not really rebels is that they do not understand the
- 1:48:31Speaker 1: gospel every time the gospel is presented with intelligence with
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: clarity I can tell you this from everywhere. Jesus will
- 1:48:42Speaker 1: always be received if he's presented properly.
- 1:48:49Speaker 2: The problem is the presentation. To my brothers and my sisters,
- 1:48:56Speaker 2: those of you who have come, I salute you. Thank
- 1:48:58Speaker 2: you for the courage. I'll tell you this.
- 1:49:02Speaker 1: Jesus came to give us beyond a religion. He didn't
- 1:49:07Speaker 1: just come to make us Christians. The word Christian was
- 1:49:10Speaker 1: a testimony from unbelievers. They looked at those who were
- 1:49:14Speaker 1: possessors of the life of God and they had to
- 1:49:16Speaker 1: look for a name to call them.
- 1:49:18Speaker 2: Nothing wrong in being called a Christian.
- 1:49:21Speaker 1: You see, one of the difference between the faith life
- 1:49:26Speaker 1: and every other faith practice I know is that it
- 1:49:30Speaker 1: goes beyond the realm of rituals and proposes to you
- 1:49:33Speaker 1: a relationship.
- 1:49:35Speaker 2: A relationship that is personal. Personal.
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: Like we say it back home, when you go to
- 1:49:42Speaker 1: a herbalist or some diviner, you don't need a relationship.
- 1:49:45Speaker 2: You don't need to know his name. Just obey the rules.
- 1:49:48Speaker 1: And if he's to tell you something about your destiny,
- 1:49:51Speaker 1: they turn the ball and do whatever and tell you
- 1:49:54Speaker 1: what they tell you and you leave.
- 1:49:55Speaker 2: But when you come to Jesus, he does not give
- 1:49:59Speaker 2: you things. He gives you himself. Himself is the gift
- 1:50:03Speaker 2: he gives you.
- 1:50:05Speaker 1: His life, then he gives you access to his spirit.
- 1:50:08Speaker 1: To my brothers and sisters who are here, it doesn't
- 1:50:11Speaker 1: matter what you have done or what you have not done.
- 1:50:14Speaker 1: I still sense that there are a few people who
- 1:50:17Speaker 1: perhaps are still contemplating joining them.
- 1:50:19Speaker 2: Don't be ashamed.
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: I will always say this, it's like calling you to
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: receive an award, only that this is the noblest you
- 1:50:25Speaker 1: can ever find in this side of God's kingdom.
- 1:50:29Speaker 2: Perhaps you are seated and you are still.
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: Dilly-dallying, you are saying, Apostle, I came out the other time,
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: but as it stands, I cannot say that my life
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: is working consistent with God's desire. You are at liberty
- 1:50:42Speaker 1: to join them before I pray that prayer.
- 1:50:44Speaker 2: This is a family.
- 1:50:45Speaker 1: Nothing to be ashamed of whatsoever. My Bible says, for
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: God so loved you.
- 1:50:52Speaker 2: He loved me. God bless you, sir. And he gave
- 1:50:55Speaker 2: his son. You know why he gave his son? Because
- 1:50:59Speaker 2: there was a verdict that all men had seen. Every
- 1:51:02Speaker 2: one of us.
- 1:51:03Speaker 1: That we've fallen short of that standard. But that he
- 1:51:06Speaker 1: gave his son as a demonstration of love.
- 1:51:10Speaker 2: And here's the point.
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: Whoever believes in him, believes what? Believes, number one, that
- 1:51:16Speaker 1: he loves you. Number two, believes that he has your
- 1:51:20Speaker 1: interest at heart. And that he's demonstrated that by giving
- 1:51:23Speaker 1: Jesus love. And that if you believe that report at
- 1:51:27Speaker 1: that instant, like it will be happening to you shortly,
- 1:51:30Speaker 1: you may not feel it, but this is an eternal
- 1:51:33Speaker 1: fact that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but
- 1:51:38Speaker 1: have life everlasting. I describe for you in one minute
- 1:51:42Speaker 1: what will happen to you as you make this declaration.
- 1:51:44Speaker 2: Eternal life. The very life of God. Not the God
- 1:51:47Speaker 2: kind of life. The very life.
- 1:51:50Speaker 1: It's supplanted in your human spirit. And the Holy Spirit
- 1:51:54Speaker 1: now has access to dwell within you. He begins to
- 1:51:58Speaker 1: culture you. He begins to lead you. He guides me
- 1:52:02Speaker 1: through the path of righteousness for his name's sake. One
- 1:52:05Speaker 1: more time, I want to say thank you for the courage.
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: I don't know you, but I love every single one
- 1:52:10Speaker 1: of you. It always pays to start with Jesus and
- 1:52:15Speaker 1: for some to start afresh. Let me request that you
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: lift your right hand as a sign of surrender to
- 1:52:21Speaker 1: this Jesus. You imagine, just take me out of the
- 1:52:25Speaker 1: sin and just imagine the lover of your soul, the
- 1:52:28Speaker 1: one who died for you.
- 1:52:29Speaker 2: When he hung upon that cross, it was not the
- 1:52:31Speaker 2: nails that held him. He saw you. You were worth
- 1:52:34Speaker 2: the death. Even if you were the only person on earth,
- 1:52:37Speaker 2: he would still die. What love. You have trusted things
- 1:52:41Speaker 2: of lesser value.
- 1:52:42Speaker 1: With your life, your time. Give him a chance and
- 1:52:45Speaker 1: let him turn you to a sign and a wonder.
- 1:52:48Speaker 1: Say this after me as loud and as clear as
- 1:52:50Speaker 1: you can. And let me speak to someone who is
- 1:52:52Speaker 1: connected online or by television here in Leicester. Jesus is winning, saving, leading,
- 1:52:59Speaker 1: drawing many to himself. I'd like you to join these,
- 1:53:01Speaker 1: our precious ones, and say this after me. Say, Lord Jesus. Tonight,
- 1:53:08Speaker 1: I have heard your word. I've heard that you love me.
- 1:53:13Speaker 1: I've heard that you died for me. And I believe
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: that report.
- 1:53:17Speaker 2: I believe. I believe. You are the son of God.
- 1:53:22Speaker 2: I believe. You died for my sin. I believe. You
- 1:53:28Speaker 2: rose again. For my justification. Right now. I receive Jesus.
- 1:53:35Speaker 2: Into my heart. As my savior. My Lord.
- 1:53:41Speaker 1: As the Holy Ghost. We just thought about him. Remember
- 1:53:45Speaker 1: I told you. The justification by faith. gives room to
- 1:53:50Speaker 1: the blessing. He's just giving witness to it. Let it
- 1:53:54Speaker 1: not distract you. Say from tonight, I'm a child of God,
- 1:54:00Speaker 1: washed by the blood of the Lamb. I live for
- 1:54:03Speaker 1: Jesus all the days of my life.
- 1:54:07Speaker 2: Amen. With your hands lifted, I pray for you. Father,
- 1:54:11Speaker 2: thank you for these precious ones.
- 1:54:13Speaker 1: The Bible declares that as many who will come to you,
- 1:54:16Speaker 1: you will in no wise cast away. These ones have
- 1:54:19Speaker 1: come declaring your lordship over their lives. Therefore, I declare
- 1:54:23Speaker 1: at this instant that the power of sin, Satan, hell,
- 1:54:27Speaker 1: the grave, addictions, every kind of thing whatsoever that does
- 1:54:32Speaker 1: not represent the Christ, let it give way right now.
- 1:54:36Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus Christ, I call you bona
- 1:54:39Speaker 1: fide recipients of the life of God. And I decree
- 1:54:42Speaker 1: and declare that the joy of salvation is yours from henceforth.
- 1:54:45Speaker 1: You will live for Jesus all the days of your life.
- 1:54:49Speaker 2: In Jesus' matchless name, we pray. Now, praise the name
- 1:54:54Speaker 2: of the Lord. Here's a favor I want you to
- 1:54:56Speaker 2: do for me.
- 1:54:57Speaker 1: There are counselors who have been trained to have a
- 1:55:01Speaker 1: word with you. They'll pray with you just for a
- 1:55:03Speaker 1: minute or two. Thereafter, you'll be back to your seats.
- 1:55:06Speaker 1: Please do cooperate with them.
- 1:55:07Speaker 2: Let me request that you move to my right. And
- 1:55:10Speaker 2: then you just follow them.
