- 0:07Speaker 1: Head hugs. Welcome into the Irish Steelers Podcast as we
- 0:10Speaker 1: look back on a great the third week of the
- 0:14Speaker 1: NFL season. Michael mccreey delighted to be joined by the comrades,
- 0:18Speaker 1: now the regulars, the lads as we say, Jimmy English,
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve McKee, as the Steelers pick up a win on
- 0:25Speaker 1: Sunday night football group two and one in the season.
- 0:27Speaker 1: We'll go into that game in a minute. A couple
- 0:30Speaker 1: of late nights over the last couple of weeks for
- 0:32Speaker 1: a lot of us, and I know people are you know,
- 0:35Speaker 1: getting called up in their sleep is certainly worth it. Jimmy,
- 0:39Speaker 1: good to see you again, man, and in positive form
- 0:41Speaker 1: this week from all of us because two and one
- 0:43Speaker 1: in the season. But these weeks are flying in, man,
- 0:46Speaker 1: aren't they?
- 0:47Speaker 2: Definitiely feeling a lot more positive Michael. After the results
- 0:51Speaker 2: last night, unlike you boys, I didn't stay up to
- 0:53Speaker 2: watch it. I had a late one on Saturday watching
- 0:56Speaker 2: Notre Dame lose to Ohio State. So I'm glad the
- 0:59Speaker 2: Steelers the win because if if my Steelers had lost
- 1:02Speaker 2: at their Notre name losing, I don't know what I'd
- 1:05Speaker 2: do with myself. I'd be I'd be in a massive
- 1:07Speaker 2: pit of despair today. So that great, great game, everything
- 1:12Speaker 2: everything started clicking finally for the Steelers, I think. And yeah,
- 1:16Speaker 2: it's roll on, roll on week four now and it
- 1:19Speaker 2: is absolutely flying by and it needs to slow down.
- 1:23Speaker 1: I liked as Jimmy said, it was a huge weekend
- 1:25Speaker 1: of football. Obviously college as well top another day in there,
- 1:27Speaker 1: but like even generally like Ireland, the rugby was nuts.
- 1:31Speaker 1: It was a great weekends of football, and it was
- 1:33Speaker 1: topped off by seeing the Steelers winning Sunday nights. So
- 1:36Speaker 1: buzzing to talk to you boys again about it. The
- 1:38Speaker 1: first off, before we talk about the game, the amount
- 1:40Speaker 1: of Steelers fans in Vegas last night was insane, Like
- 1:44Speaker 1: I haven't got a number and I and we'll talk
- 1:46Speaker 1: about in Mexico in a bit, but I'm presuming you
- 1:49Speaker 1: guys both seen the video at the end of the
- 1:51Speaker 1: players running off the field and the amount of fans
- 1:53Speaker 1: and Allegian stadium. It makes you think one's going to
- 1:55Speaker 1: be like in February, whenever they play the Super Rule, it's.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Going to be absolutely nuts. As I was just even
- 2:01Speaker 3: thinking about per Jimmy g you know he's going into
- 2:04Speaker 3: his home opener as a raider and he's getting absolutely
- 2:07Speaker 3: outsung by Bay Steelers fonts. It was actually incredible to
- 2:10Speaker 3: actually see, you know, it's it's amazing just to support
- 2:12Speaker 3: we have around the country, not only just there, but
- 2:15Speaker 3: like it's it's every away game. We seemed to out
- 2:17Speaker 3: number the home fans, so it's not something that surprises
- 2:20Speaker 3: me really, but yeah, it just goes to show you
- 2:22Speaker 3: the sort of farm buys we have around the country,
- 2:24Speaker 3: if you like Mega. So I was just gonna say
- 2:26Speaker 3: as well about Ireland and the rugby as well. Absolutely
- 2:30Speaker 3: but buzzing with at of course. But it's just been
- 2:32Speaker 3: a perfect weekend, you know, to be to be an
- 2:34Speaker 3: ur Steelers fan.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I feel like the nerves were the nerves were shot
- 2:37Speaker 2: in every household around Ireland on Saturday night and I
- 2:40Speaker 2: know that much certainly were here.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Saturday then on Sunday and it feels like, yeah, like
- 2:44Speaker 1: it's funny for people listening to this outside of Ireland,
- 2:47Speaker 1: the common joke or perception of the minute is don't
- 2:50Speaker 1: jinx it. So we'll move on and we'll come back.
- 2:52Speaker 1: It might be a delayed podcast in four weeks if
- 2:54Speaker 1: it gets to that point, but we'll see Jimmy perseverance.
- 2:59Speaker 1: If you think back to where this team was two
- 3:03Speaker 1: or three weeks ago with that start against the Niners,
- 3:04Speaker 1: and let let's let's not cloude any conversation around us.
- 3:09Speaker 1: That was a really disappointing start to the season, not
- 3:12Speaker 1: only for fans, but for the players putting so much
- 3:15Speaker 1: in over such a long offseason and to now look
- 3:18Speaker 1: at where they are at the moment. But more so,
- 3:21Speaker 1: you know last night, yes there was a lot of
- 3:23Speaker 1: Steelers fans in the Leegian Stadium, but there was a
- 3:25Speaker 1: hell of a lot of Raiders fans. It was Jimmy
- 3:27Speaker 1: Garoppolo's home opener. You know, the Raiders forced the Stailers
- 3:30Speaker 1: to go freeing out on the first two posesss of
- 3:32Speaker 1: the game, and then they gooes seven up themselves. How
- 3:36Speaker 1: the team turned it round and won that game on
- 3:39Speaker 1: both sides of the ball. Seeing progression on the offense
- 3:41Speaker 1: also for me, Jimmy, a very very positive and impressive performance.
- 3:45Speaker 1: What was your main takeaway from the game on Someday night.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I think the biggest thing, Michael, for me was how
- 3:51Speaker 2: far the offense has come or the steps they're taken
- 3:53Speaker 2: to improve, and that was definitely on display last night.
- 3:56Speaker 2: It started off not great. You know, you mentioned the
- 3:59Speaker 2: two consecutive three and outs, and Kenny loved to be
- 4:03Speaker 2: off as rhythm. He couldn't hit open receivers. The run
- 4:06Speaker 2: game was basically non existent for a large part of
- 4:09Speaker 2: the game, bar a number of runs. I think Nagi
- 4:12Speaker 2: had one big run and you know that wasn't great,
- 4:16Speaker 2: and the on line struggled again. But the on line
- 4:18Speaker 2: did pick it up in pass protection, and once Kenny
- 4:21Speaker 2: found his found his groove, it was fantastic. I mean,
- 4:24Speaker 2: you had that touchdown to Calvin Austin over the middle
- 4:26Speaker 2: for eighty odd yards. It was I was having my
- 4:29Speaker 2: lunch watching the game there today and I had my
- 4:32Speaker 2: arms over my head and over my head and celebration
- 4:35Speaker 2: watching that. So it was great to see things starting
- 4:38Speaker 2: to finally happen on offense. I mean, we saw it
- 4:40Speaker 2: in the preseason and the offense was absolutely singing in
- 4:44Speaker 2: the first in the first couple of weeks they were together.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Didn't really materialize over the first couple of weeks of
- 4:50Speaker 2: the regular season, but now it's finally beginning to click.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Kenny piket two touchdowns, the second one to to to
- 4:57Speaker 2: Pat friar Mout in the end zone a wide open
- 4:59Speaker 2: path Friar Mout, So no really really positive steps been
- 5:03Speaker 2: taken there, And like, what can we say about defense
- 5:05Speaker 2: only for the fact that they are probably the best
- 5:07Speaker 2: defense in the NFL at the minute. TJ wat on
- 5:10Speaker 2: course for another defensive Player of the Year year. I
- 5:14Speaker 2: think four sacks, three interceptions. I mean, it was it
- 5:18Speaker 2: was just it was just fantastic. So I think that
- 5:21Speaker 2: both sides of the ball now are finally begin to
- 5:23Speaker 2: play a bit of complimentary football, which is great.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Just before I bring the even I've done this myself
- 5:30Speaker 1: a few times, Jimmy, where if you're not standing up,
- 5:33Speaker 1: did you know the score beforehand or were you I didn't.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I didn't. I put myself on social media lockdown this
- 5:38Speaker 2: morning and like I didn't check Facebook, Instagram. I turned
- 5:41Speaker 2: my phone on this morning. The score The score didn't
- 5:43Speaker 2: come in, thankfully, so it wasn't spoiled for me. So
- 5:47Speaker 2: I got to watch it without knowing the score, which
- 5:50Speaker 2: is great. So it was like I was watching it
- 5:52Speaker 2: for the first time, which I was, so that that
- 5:55Speaker 2: made a big difference in terms of my enjoyment of
- 5:57Speaker 2: the game and having a bit of suspense as well,
- 5:59Speaker 2: but look delighted with the win, Signs of progression, signs
- 6:04Speaker 2: of life on the offense. I mean, we could have
- 6:07Speaker 2: easily written the offense off after the first week they had.
- 6:10Speaker 2: They showed a little bit more last week, and I
- 6:12Speaker 2: think now after last night, we can finally see the
- 6:15Speaker 2: potential this offense has if they can get Kenny going
- 6:20Speaker 2: and get some sort of run game going.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Absolutely, and I think, you know, just from going what
- 6:27Speaker 1: Jimmy said, it's going to be really really intriguing to
- 6:30Speaker 1: see how this offense, you know, continues to pick up.
- 6:32Speaker 1: You know, you've got a game against the Reevens in
- 6:34Speaker 1: a couple of weeks time. At the time of recording,
- 6:36Speaker 1: we do not know how the Bengals good all the
- 6:37Speaker 1: monthy and at football, I feel like I sit here
- 6:40Speaker 1: on a different podcast and talking about the Browns at
- 6:41Speaker 1: the moment. So I feel like the Steelers are in
- 6:44Speaker 1: a good position and going on what Jimmy said, but TJ.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Watt last night two forced fumbles too, fumble recoveries in
- 6:50Speaker 1: a touchdown as well, this guy is not just potentially
- 6:53Speaker 1: having a Defensive Player of the year's season. Should we
- 6:56Speaker 1: say m VP or you still look at the Kenny
- 6:59Speaker 1: or is that is that of the water line?
- 7:02Speaker 3: Well, do you know have to say, you know my
- 7:04Speaker 3: bold reduction for Kenny, you're gett an MVP. It's it's
- 7:06Speaker 3: pretty much out of the tank at this point. I
- 7:08Speaker 3: think two is going to be hard to catch. But
- 7:11Speaker 3: even just coming back.
- 7:11Speaker 4: But TJ, you know.
- 7:12Speaker 3: We've been sending for so long. He could be m
- 7:15Speaker 3: v P any year. He's on target to break the
- 7:18Speaker 3: single sack record, which is another thing I predicted. He's
- 7:22Speaker 3: just outstanding. Keanu Banton he had his first NFL sack
- 7:25Speaker 3: as well, and even though DeVante Adams he had a
- 7:28Speaker 3: massive game, the defense stapped up when they needed to
- 7:32Speaker 3: with chipped in with three interceptions. You know, Levi Wallace,
- 7:35Speaker 3: he had a bit of a shaky start of the season,
- 7:37Speaker 3: and there he is. He's contributed towards two of them.
- 7:40Speaker 3: So if you actually look at our defense as a whole,
- 7:44Speaker 3: you know, turn the ball over, it's not something we
- 7:45Speaker 3: struggled with. We're sacking in the league at that behind
- 7:47Speaker 3: the Buffalo Bills. We've got to turnovers already in the
- 7:49Speaker 3: first three games. So it's it's just even. We'll come
- 7:52Speaker 3: back to the offense, but the defense as well. They're
- 7:54Speaker 3: just playing out of their skin at the minutes, and
- 7:56Speaker 3: it's hard for anybody to actually move the ball against
- 7:59Speaker 3: us a minute. So we've got the Houston Taxes this weekend.
- 8:03Speaker 3: You know they're not they're probably on the same level
- 8:05Speaker 3: as the Readers, you know, the Raaders. Obviously they're not
- 8:07Speaker 3: the greatest, but I went on the roads against anybody.
- 8:10Speaker 3: It's as important as as a home win. So overalls,
- 8:14Speaker 3: good to be back on track and then back where
- 8:16Speaker 3: we've belong on top of the FC North. So who
- 8:18Speaker 3: would have thought that after week one?
- 8:20Speaker 2: I think it's just as well. They have just to
- 8:22Speaker 2: chime in your point and on defense playing out of
- 8:24Speaker 2: their skin, it's just as well because if if they
- 8:27Speaker 2: hadn't been up to scratch in the past couple of weeks,
- 8:29Speaker 2: it could be it could be an absolute disastrous start
- 8:32Speaker 2: of the season.
- 8:33Speaker 5: So t J.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Watt has really put the entire team on his back,
- 8:37Speaker 2: and it's like his like his brother JJ said, he
- 8:42Speaker 2: is the not not the best defensive player in the league,
- 8:45Speaker 2: he's the best defensive player in the world at the minute.
- 8:47Speaker 2: And that's that's been on show for the first couple
- 8:49Speaker 2: of weeks in the season.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Run it's taking run, I'll tell you and I I
- 8:54Speaker 1: I can say both of you lads would agree, and
- 8:56Speaker 1: many people listening to with agree. It's all easy going
- 9:00Speaker 1: into the readers wherever they play, if it's in if
- 9:02Speaker 1: it's an Oakland servers in Vegas in a primetime game,
- 9:05Speaker 1: and putting at performance like that. Like I mean, Jimmy
- 9:07Speaker 1: like the progression and you've mentioned it briefly there as well,
- 9:10Speaker 1: but even not playing at austin the touchdime past progression
- 9:14Speaker 1: in two weeks is so positive. And we will talk
- 9:17Speaker 1: about the Week four game later on this week. But
- 9:20Speaker 1: you start to think, man, this could be special if
- 9:23Speaker 1: it just keeps improving, don't you. Like, we don't want
- 9:25Speaker 1: to get ahead of ourselves, but it's it's it's like
- 9:28Speaker 1: I'm sitting up sitting this morning, Monday morning, I had
- 9:30Speaker 1: a shar sleep watching the game, and I'm thinking, I'm
- 9:33Speaker 1: glad I watched that. You sometimes you don't say that
- 9:35Speaker 1: after some of that football game.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, absolutely, And I think the biggest thing for me,
- 9:39Speaker 2: Mick is seeing the progression of Kenny Pickets, even from
- 9:42Speaker 2: last week. I mean, he just looked he had poise
- 9:46Speaker 2: in the pocket. You know, he he was taking his time,
- 9:49Speaker 2: he was rolling out comfortably. He had plenty of time.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I have to give the the online credit for that.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Despite the lack of a running game, they really stuck up,
- 9:56Speaker 2: stood up and gave Kenny the time to find out
- 10:00Speaker 2: from receivers. I think I think the Raiders had one
- 10:02Speaker 2: sacks on us all night. Of course that was Max Crosby.
- 10:06Speaker 2: As if the shout basically shut Max Crosby down for
- 10:09Speaker 2: an entire game, give Kenny the time to go through
- 10:11Speaker 2: his progressions to find his open receivers. That's what you know,
- 10:15Speaker 2: kind of jumped out to me the most about watching
- 10:17Speaker 2: last night and possibly the emergence of a new number
- 10:21Speaker 2: one wide receiver in Calvin Austin. Me for for a
- 10:24Speaker 2: large part of the game, they shut down George Dickens.
- 10:26Speaker 2: I think he had two total receptions and now they
- 10:28Speaker 2: were chunk plays, but he was quiet in terms of touchdowns,
- 10:33Speaker 2: and you could see where where Calvin Austin could become
- 10:35Speaker 2: a viable receiver. So more ninety nine percent positive for
- 10:40Speaker 2: me after last night.
- 10:41Speaker 3: What about as well, that the wheels on cannon to
- 10:43Speaker 3: see him for that first down run, And that's actually
- 10:47Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. Actually, even just washing them sometimes,
- 10:50Speaker 3: how just is through on the run is actually incredible,
- 10:53Speaker 3: Like he's he's so mobile and you can actually get
- 10:56Speaker 3: out of trouble. As we say, we only had we
- 10:57Speaker 3: only had one sack. We don't give up one sack
- 10:59Speaker 3: on so him go and let or him you know,
- 11:04Speaker 3: jumping out of the pocket is something we can Definitely
- 11:05Speaker 3: he should have for the touchdown past the firemith as well.
- 11:08Speaker 3: So the execution as long as obviously the play collins
- 11:12Speaker 3: right and the extecution is good, We're going to go
- 11:13Speaker 3: a long way, I think.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I think for a for a twenty five year old
- 11:16Speaker 1: quarterback who could have easily two weeks Togo win in
- 11:20Speaker 1: himself and tubed the pressure too much, he's done very,
- 11:23Speaker 1: very well. So I'm buzzingt for week four already. Bring
- 11:25Speaker 1: it on. We will be back to top of that
- 11:26Speaker 1: later on this week at some point. And let's hear
- 11:29Speaker 1: from Kenny. Now, let's hear from quarterback Canny Pickt and
- 11:31Speaker 1: also let's hear from head coach Mike Tomlin after the
- 11:34Speaker 1: Steelers beat the Raiders on Sunday Night football.
- 11:41Speaker 6: Yeah, I think it really a good job of you know,
- 11:43Speaker 6: mixing it up, moving the pocket.
- 11:45Speaker 7: They got a great pass.
- 11:46Speaker 4: Rush for a ninety eight. I didn't want to, you know, be.
- 11:48Speaker 6: A sitting duck back there and get him a target
- 11:50Speaker 6: that he can consistently rush at and.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Change the launch point up.
- 11:53Speaker 6: There were times where I was able to extend and
- 11:54Speaker 6: find some guys downfield, and that was also a plus too.
- 11:57Speaker 4: So yeah, there's a little bit of both.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Raiders were related. Spot. Did you think of something maybe
- 12:03Speaker 5: you could add to your rep and four.
- 12:05Speaker 6: Of the speech in terms of a game plan aspect, Yeah,
- 12:09Speaker 6: I think, I mean definitely definitely a game plan aspect
- 12:12Speaker 6: to it. Like I said, if a pass rusher can
- 12:14Speaker 6: key you in the pocket every single snap, you know
- 12:16Speaker 6: it's not it doesn't help your tackles out. So the
- 12:18Speaker 6: fact that we can move around and get me on
- 12:20Speaker 6: the move and get outside, I think it only helps.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Used that really touchdown to Calviny. How much should that
- 12:24Speaker 5: You just kind of get the momentum of the office going.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Yeah, it was big. We needed it.
- 12:28Speaker 6: They were doing a really good job with Double and
- 12:30Speaker 6: George all night, you know, making it really hard to
- 12:32Speaker 6: get him touches, so that leaves other guys singled up
- 12:34Speaker 6: and cal hot press and you know he took took
- 12:37Speaker 6: the post and it was it was really good. So
- 12:38Speaker 6: we missed that earlier in the season against San fran
- 12:40Speaker 6: It was good to hit it tonight.
- 12:41Speaker 1: And how are you guys did when he used to
- 12:43Speaker 1: play action here a bandage, especially in the second.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Half credits to the run game.
- 12:46Speaker 6: You know, you need a run game to be able
- 12:47Speaker 6: to run your play action stuff or it's not gonna
- 12:49Speaker 6: be as you know, effective. So it was really good
- 12:51Speaker 6: to have effective runs, you know, just three four five
- 12:54Speaker 6: whatever we were getting, just to keep them honest and
- 12:57Speaker 6: then we could pop some play action and then help
- 12:58Speaker 6: them run as well.
- 12:59Speaker 7: Pass well Robinson the third Naco version, did that play
- 13:03Speaker 7: out exact people what you guys thought it would.
- 13:05Speaker 6: Yeah, that was the covers, was the covers we were
- 13:08Speaker 6: hoping to look. You know, Alan did a great job
- 13:10Speaker 6: getting open, catching the ball, getting down. He's he's such
- 13:12Speaker 6: a trustworthy guy and put so much time into it.
- 13:16Speaker 6: Studies like eye study sees what I see. So it's
- 13:18Speaker 6: it's awesome having a guy like that.
- 13:20Speaker 5: You're very comfortable rolling to your left. You seem to
- 13:22Speaker 5: be in a high completion percents of something.
- 13:24Speaker 4: The thing very some I've worked out.
- 13:27Speaker 6: Obviously, throwing your left a little bit more difficult. I
- 13:30Speaker 6: think kind of a baseball background and play another sports
- 13:33Speaker 6: growing up maybe help helped me out with that aspect
- 13:35Speaker 6: of it.
- 13:36Speaker 5: And you guys did on schedule tonight.
- 13:38Speaker 1: How much should that just open up the playbooker maybe
- 13:40Speaker 1: give you guys some more options.
- 13:42Speaker 6: Yeah, it's you know, staying ahead of the chains and
- 13:44Speaker 6: being able to be aggressive in like second and short situations.
- 13:47Speaker 6: When you have a successful first down runner pass, it's huge,
- 13:50Speaker 6: and you're able to kind of get to the playbook
- 13:52Speaker 6: that we haven't been able to get to these past
- 13:53Speaker 6: couple of weeks. So it was also being able to
- 13:55Speaker 6: go out there and show all the stuff that we
- 13:57Speaker 6: know that we can do and that we have in
- 13:59Speaker 6: our playbook.
- 14:00Speaker 5: Pretty offense, you were able to pretty much grind the
- 14:02Speaker 5: game out.
- 14:03Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, that was that was That was good.
- 14:06Speaker 6: I wish we you know, just iced it and didn't
- 14:08Speaker 6: even have to put the the defense out there. So
- 14:11Speaker 6: I think that's an area that we could definitely improve
- 14:13Speaker 6: on in that four minute putting the game away, not
- 14:15Speaker 6: having our defense who's been so great, you know, have
- 14:17Speaker 6: to go back out there one more time. So it's
- 14:19Speaker 6: definitely another aspect we could work.
- 14:20Speaker 5: At the Peterson reception when you get at is that
- 14:24Speaker 5: the first time maybe this offense that it felt like
- 14:26Speaker 5: it was operating its full capability?
- 14:28Speaker 4: I think so. I think so.
- 14:29Speaker 6: I think you saw a lot of different things in
- 14:31Speaker 6: that in that drive, you know, play actions, strike the GP,
- 14:35Speaker 6: pat over in the middle, pat off, the off, the bootleg,
- 14:38Speaker 6: the naked, you know, some scramble drill stuff that we
- 14:41Speaker 6: did hit Allen on this album. And there was a
- 14:42Speaker 6: lot of different things in that drive that were that
- 14:44Speaker 6: were really positive. So I absolutely think that's a positive
- 14:46Speaker 6: we could take away.
- 14:48Speaker 5: Conversion into Allan Rominson.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Was that a formation that you ran out of a
- 14:53Speaker 2: lot today as well?
- 14:55Speaker 8: And just have to.
- 14:58Speaker 6: I mean, in that situation, you know that you're you're
- 15:00Speaker 6: kind of it's fifty to fifty, probably run our pass,
- 15:03Speaker 6: you know, And in that formation we definitely had runs
- 15:06Speaker 6: out of it. I was hoping they were expecting us
- 15:08Speaker 6: to try and run the ball and run the clock
- 15:10Speaker 6: out and give us a one high look where Allen
- 15:12Speaker 6: can go win in the outside.
- 15:13Speaker 4: So I think it was, you know, a great play
- 15:15Speaker 4: call and great execution.
- 15:16Speaker 5: Earlier this week, nights, you felt like if you guys
- 15:19Speaker 5: have lost your mojo you have the preseason, do you
- 15:21Speaker 5: feel like you had it back or you're on track
- 15:23Speaker 5: ge getting it back?
- 15:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I think we're on track to getting it back.
- 15:25Speaker 6: I mean there was there's you know, it's never a
- 15:27Speaker 6: perfect game. There's things that you know, we wish we
- 15:29Speaker 6: had back, and there's plays there's always that's always gonna
- 15:31Speaker 6: be the case. But I think we're definitely getting towards
- 15:33Speaker 6: that that that step that we needed to have back.
- 15:36Speaker 5: This is Calvin's third regular season game. I mean what
- 15:39Speaker 5: does it say about him to make a big play
- 15:41Speaker 5: like that and kind of grow up in this prime time? Yeah?
- 15:43Speaker 6: You know love cow guy, you know, just shows up
- 15:46Speaker 6: every day, works really hard, is so talented and you
- 15:48Speaker 6: know we can put them in those positions to be successful.
- 15:50Speaker 6: We'll get him downfield. He's gonna do that consistently. So
- 15:53Speaker 6: it's something that we can continue to work on.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Your legs once just moving in the pocket, the scrambling
- 15:57Speaker 3: this ones.
- 15:58Speaker 5: We have moved with this too much this year. Did
- 16:01Speaker 5: Hatch of Beefens when maybe they covered a world that
- 16:03Speaker 5: you're still whatever?
- 16:04Speaker 6: Yeah, well, you know in third down situations, it's like
- 16:06Speaker 6: kind of a double the stars. We call they're gonna
- 16:08Speaker 6: double your two best guys and there's no one left
- 16:10Speaker 6: for the quarterback. So if I felt like that they
- 16:13Speaker 6: we were covered up pretty well, I was gonna take
- 16:15Speaker 6: off and get as much as I can. And there
- 16:16Speaker 6: was moments where we had some good chunk plays out
- 16:18Speaker 6: of it. Hopefully got to get them out of those
- 16:20Speaker 6: situations where we can get guys singled up.
- 16:22Speaker 4: So it was it was goody just overall.
- 16:24Speaker 5: How do you feel about the lead you play it?
- 16:27Speaker 4: I mean, I feel good. It's never gonna be perfect.
- 16:29Speaker 6: There's always things that I'm gonna want to improve on
- 16:31Speaker 6: and get back to the drawing board. But I think
- 16:33Speaker 6: it's a great step for it as a team to
- 16:35Speaker 6: come on the road back to back primetime wins, one
- 16:38Speaker 6: at home, one on the road.
- 16:39Speaker 4: You know it, it's definitely a good feeling.
- 16:41Speaker 6: The number of Steelers fans, Yeah, not really, you know,
- 16:45Speaker 6: I mean it was awesome.
- 16:46Speaker 4: You know, our our fans are unbelievable.
- 16:47Speaker 6: It's a huge when the other team has to go
- 16:50Speaker 6: with silent as well, you know, it's a huge advantage
- 16:52Speaker 6: for us, So huge appreciation to our fans, you know,
- 16:55Speaker 6: back in Pittsburgh all over the world, you know, really
- 16:58Speaker 6: appreciate you.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Guys and anyone else did he kicks Giel goal there
- 17:02Speaker 1: like they get the end basically saying their defense is
- 17:04Speaker 1: from out and make you stop and get the ball back.
- 17:06Speaker 5: How much does that motivate you to go out there
- 17:08Speaker 5: and hit the first time?
- 17:09Speaker 6: If you need extra motivation in that situation, I think
- 17:11Speaker 6: you got you know a little bit of issues.
- 17:13Speaker 4: So I knew what was at steak.
- 17:15Speaker 6: We all knew was at steak. I don't really care
- 17:17Speaker 6: what the other team does, but we got to handle
- 17:19Speaker 6: our business. So gave the defensive ball, you know, twelve
- 17:22Speaker 6: seconds left. You know, wish we were able to run
- 17:24Speaker 6: it out, But definitely like this situation towards the end, there.
- 17:28Speaker 5: Was a game plan to get fired.
- 17:30Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean we didn't get him going earlier those
- 17:34Speaker 6: first two games. Definitely wanted to get him a lot
- 17:35Speaker 6: more touches, especially with Deonta Va. Now he's a guy
- 17:38Speaker 6: that needs to step up.
- 17:39Speaker 4: Along with cal and Allen.
- 17:42Speaker 6: So I think that between those three guys they can
- 17:44Speaker 6: we can spread the ball around and keep defenses off
- 17:46Speaker 6: the on their toes.
- 17:47Speaker 4: So that was good to get you know, eighty eight
- 17:49Speaker 4: back in Strip.
- 17:55Speaker 8: We had a really good uh tough heart for a
- 17:57Speaker 8: victory man, all three phases. It's good man to stack victories.
- 18:03Speaker 8: We got to make winning habitual thing.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Man.
- 18:05Speaker 8: Just to stack winning performance on top of winning performance
- 18:08Speaker 8: is significant. But it's also our first opportunity to play
- 18:11Speaker 8: on the road in a hostile environment, this being their
- 18:13Speaker 8: home opener. We had to manage that component of the game.
- 18:17Speaker 8: There's opportunities for growth, obviously, but I was really proud
- 18:21Speaker 8: of the efforts and the playmaking. We did what we
- 18:25Speaker 8: needed to do secure victory, and so still very early
- 18:28Speaker 8: stages of the year. Man, we got a lot to learn,
- 18:30Speaker 8: We got a lot to teach, but it's good to
- 18:32Speaker 8: do so. With the victory. You got some bumps and
- 18:34Speaker 8: bruises associated with play. Lee I Wallace went out of
- 18:37Speaker 8: the game, Nausea went out of the game. Both guys
- 18:41Speaker 8: were able to return. I'm sure we'll have some other
- 18:43Speaker 8: bumps and bruises to assess, and I'll give you guys
- 18:46Speaker 8: an update on Tuesday. I'll pause and open up for questions.
- 18:49Speaker 8: Did you see progress in your offense?
- 18:52Speaker 7: We won, Yes, specifically with the offense and things that
- 18:55Speaker 7: you liked, Yes, did you said hostle environment, it is
- 19:00Speaker 7: almost a home game with the thousand of the Fens.
- 19:03Speaker 8: Well, you gotta win the crowd, you know what I mean.
- 19:05Speaker 8: You got to do enough to win the crowd, and
- 19:07Speaker 8: so we don't take it for granted. We gotta make
- 19:09Speaker 8: enough plays to get the type of support that you speak.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Of anyone else, Like what shot?
- 19:17Speaker 8: The way your quarterback played, Man, he made the necessary plays.
- 19:20Speaker 8: I thought he was good in the environment. I thought
- 19:24Speaker 8: he was a good communicator. He did the job tonight.
- 19:28Speaker 5: Are you surprised any good for the fourth down?
- 19:32Speaker 1: No?
- 19:33Speaker 8: You know, I don't worry about decisions that others make.
- 19:35Speaker 8: To be quite honest with you, we got some ongoing
- 19:37Speaker 8: decisions of our own to make. Usually in those moments,
- 19:40Speaker 8: you feel like your guys on offense, you can draw
- 19:43Speaker 8: confidence off performance. We're not looking for confidence, We're looking
- 19:46Speaker 8: for victory. That's what we came here to do tonight,
- 19:49Speaker 8: and we did it.
- 19:50Speaker 5: Defense, make enough plays for you or keep one.
- 19:53Speaker 4: We can use a few more.
- 19:54Speaker 8: You know, I was really disappointed man, that fourth down
- 19:57Speaker 8: and one touchdown. But there's gonna be things that disappoint
- 20:01Speaker 8: us in play. Certainly, Mike, what did you know the
- 20:03Speaker 8: way your.
- 20:04Speaker 5: Corners rebounded Peterson, Wallace and pass.
- 20:07Speaker 8: They made the necessary plays. Man, they were they were competitive. Obviously.
- 20:10Speaker 8: I can't say enough about Adams Man and his talents
- 20:14Speaker 8: and their willingness and ability to to get him the ball.
- 20:19Speaker 8: It was a challenge tonight.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Right, we're back, we're back. The Steelers are back home.
- 20:25Speaker 1: They had a bit of an issue with their flight,
- 20:26Speaker 1: Frank All, they're okay. We're back right now as well.
- 20:29Speaker 1: And before we talk the with some interesting news for
- 20:32Speaker 1: the Irish market, let's talk very quickly Jimmy about this
- 20:36Speaker 1: event that took place in Mexico last night. And it
- 20:40Speaker 1: just looked it looked unbelievable and it really makes you
- 20:43Speaker 1: I mean just the amount of people there is one thing,
- 20:45Speaker 1: but it turned into a whole party, a couple of
- 20:47Speaker 1: thousand people. I think it looks incredible. You can shock
- 20:50Speaker 1: out Steeters dot com and Steeters and Mexico will get
- 20:53Speaker 1: the link to the bottom the check out pictures of
- 20:55Speaker 1: that there. But it's Salivia. It's the mind Jimmy, ahead
- 20:58Speaker 1: of what's going to be a your time in November.
- 21:00Speaker 1: It's probably the next MLCY was in personally.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, and you know the Mexico is known for
- 21:08Speaker 2: being one of the biggest Steelers fan bases outside of Pittsburgh.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I mean, they're such a huge community of Steelers fans
- 21:13Speaker 2: here and you can see that potentially developing here in
- 21:16Speaker 2: Ireland with the work that's been done through the NFL,
- 21:19Speaker 2: the international market, the international markets to build a solid,
- 21:23Speaker 2: huge fan base here.
- 21:25Speaker 3: And I.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Believe my source, I was reliably informed that there were
- 21:29Speaker 2: a number of big former Steelers names in attendance at
- 21:33Speaker 2: the Mexico fan watch party last night. So I'm just
- 21:36Speaker 2: hoping that we do get a couple visiting us across
- 21:40Speaker 2: the pond here in Ireland. But absolutely, I mean I've
- 21:43Speaker 2: been looking forward to it ever since it was announced,
- 21:45Speaker 2: and seeing an event by that taking places just wet
- 21:49Speaker 2: of the appetite, even more so roll on November. I
- 21:52Speaker 2: don't want to I don't want to wish away the
- 21:54Speaker 2: weeks of the months, but bring it on. It's going
- 21:56Speaker 2: to be such a fantastic event in cro Park. I mean,
- 21:59Speaker 2: fantastics around Arnings, getting to watch the game with you
- 22:02Speaker 2: boys and potentially you know, doing doing a live podcast
- 22:06Speaker 2: and having some of the fans there as well, and
- 22:07Speaker 2: interacting with our fans it's going to be absolutely tremendous.
- 22:12Speaker 1: And the way the game and the way the team
- 22:14Speaker 1: is going at the minute, I think it almost wets
- 22:17Speaker 1: the appetite even more. Is then just for people and
- 22:20Speaker 1: going on with Jimmy said Steelers in Espanol add lost
- 22:24Speaker 1: Steelers on x to check out some of those pictures,
- 22:26Speaker 1: over four thousand fans and loads of mental legendary players.
- 22:31Speaker 1: It wets the appetite and we we cannot comment respect it.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Who might come to Dublin. But I'm kinding down the minutes.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Man the bar is sat, Michael the Bar as well,
- 22:42Speaker 3: and truly set. But again I have no doubt that
- 22:46Speaker 3: obviously we can we can reach that level as well
- 22:49Speaker 3: of stardom if you like. And you know, we have
- 22:52Speaker 3: to remember, you know, a few months ago this thing
- 22:54Speaker 3: didn't even exist for us anyway. But then obviously with
- 22:59Speaker 3: the what they call it the Mexican market, that's been
- 23:02Speaker 3: there for for quite a number of years, so there's
- 23:04Speaker 3: a few years ahead of us. But even I don't
- 23:06Speaker 3: speak a word of Spanish, and I could have watched
- 23:08Speaker 3: that all night and I thought it was great. You know,
- 23:10Speaker 3: the passion and stuff just came through the screen. If
- 23:12Speaker 3: you like so, and yeah, I can't roll on in November.
- 23:16Speaker 3: It's it's something that obviously I've had my checklist for
- 23:19Speaker 3: quite a while now, you know, I still haven't booked
- 23:21Speaker 3: the flights.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Hopefully get get all that boy get dot com.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Trust me, I'll be swimming over if I can't get
- 23:28Speaker 3: the flight, don't you or but no, definitely can't with
- 23:31Speaker 3: it's it's been marked on the calendar for quite a while.
- 23:33Speaker 3: And hopefully, as said, we get a few legends as well.
- 23:36Speaker 3: And it's gonna be a fun night.
- 23:38Speaker 1: It's gonna be a great night, looking forward to see
- 23:40Speaker 1: everybody there. It's it's gonna be a real a real
- 23:44Speaker 1: first and a great night to remember. Just before we
- 23:46Speaker 1: talking with some interesting news for the ours market, let's
- 23:48Speaker 1: hear from Levi Wallace after the game on Sunday Night Football.
- 23:53Speaker 9: I think, like coach Tis last week, winning is winning
- 23:57Speaker 9: is hard in this league, and we don't apologize for
- 23:59Speaker 9: winning and whatever.
- 24:00Speaker 5: We had to do to get it done, we get
- 24:01Speaker 5: it done.
- 24:01Speaker 1: You got a lot of pressure on Jimmy g the
- 24:03Speaker 1: first team to really do that kind of open up
- 24:05Speaker 1: things for you guys, didn't.
- 24:07Speaker 9: I mean, you know who we got on the b line.
- 24:09Speaker 9: I mean, those guys did a great job. I mean
- 24:12Speaker 9: I kept looking up and Jimmy was running out of
- 24:14Speaker 9: there getting sacked. And so obviously we have two of
- 24:17Speaker 9: the best in the league at edge, and then you
- 24:19Speaker 9: got guys like Marcus who comes in makes plays and
- 24:23Speaker 9: so just like Nick two, I mean, even the interior
- 24:26Speaker 9: did a great job today.
- 24:26Speaker 1: So can you talk a little bit about the way
- 24:28Speaker 1: you played today?
- 24:28Speaker 2: Two interceptions?
- 24:30Speaker 9: It was Listen, those receivers over there. Seventeen is a dude,
- 24:35Speaker 9: you know what I mean, and even sixteen is hard matchup,
- 24:37Speaker 9: and so we try to minimize them as much as
- 24:39Speaker 9: we can. I mean, those guys are really good. And
- 24:42Speaker 9: this week we just knew we had to keep fighting,
- 24:44Speaker 9: and that's what it came down to. Just be physical,
- 24:47Speaker 9: could test balls, just fight, claw, scratch away, whatever needs,
- 24:52Speaker 9: whatever necessary.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Great here from LEVI, I'm great here from some of
- 24:57Speaker 1: the guys, and here for coach as well. Guys, and
- 24:59Speaker 1: we really feeling closer and closer to this team as
- 25:02Speaker 1: they build and come to two to one on the
- 25:04Speaker 1: season ahead a week four. Some really interesting they dropped
- 25:08Speaker 1: on Friday evening. We were talking about it briefly privately lads,
- 25:12Speaker 1: and I know we're very excited about it for people
- 25:14Speaker 1: in the Irish market. The Pittsburgh Steelers on Off the
- 25:18Speaker 1: Ball confirmed on Friday that Off the Ball will make
- 25:22Speaker 1: the team's game audio broadcast available for fans to listen
- 25:27Speaker 1: live on the OTB Sports Radio. That's either on the
- 25:30Speaker 1: website or you can download the app and that is
- 25:33Speaker 1: free to listen to when it's live on the game
- 25:36Speaker 1: and that's the Steelers broadcast as well, which is pretty
- 25:41Speaker 1: cool and it's going to be a really really interesting
- 25:44Speaker 1: time to listen to it. I was listening to a
- 25:46Speaker 1: bit of it on Sunday nights and I heard Will
- 25:49Speaker 1: Fee we will have to get them on in the
- 25:52Speaker 1: next few weeks. Boys, Bill, Bill Hillgrove as well. Mak
- 25:54Speaker 1: Starks is there with Missy Matthews. So certainly, Jimmy, if
- 25:59Speaker 1: you're in the are, if you're if you've don't have
- 26:01Speaker 1: a chance to listen to the game or watch the
- 26:03Speaker 1: game in person, whether you're in the north or side
- 26:05Speaker 1: of the border on this island, you're flying high with
- 26:08Speaker 1: All the Ball having the games as well.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, Michael, It's another fantastic step in terms of
- 26:14Speaker 2: growing the NF not only the fan base of NFL here,
- 26:16Speaker 2: but also the Steelers sound base, and I think it's
- 26:20Speaker 2: quite similar to what the Steelers did with with GAA
- 26:24Speaker 2: Go in the preseason, allowing fans to watch those games
- 26:27Speaker 2: for free of charge. It brings more accessibility to the
- 26:31Speaker 2: game of American football in Ireland, which is something that
- 26:34Speaker 2: we're all trying to do here. So from that regard,
- 26:37Speaker 2: it's it's absolutely fantastic, you know, for somebody who might
- 26:41Speaker 2: have a passing interest or a notion about American football
- 26:44Speaker 2: and now they're going to have another way to get
- 26:46Speaker 2: access to it. And the fact as well that it's
- 26:48Speaker 2: the Steelers. I mean, we'll take any new Steelers fans
- 26:51Speaker 2: that we can get in Ireland. So it's a great
- 26:53Speaker 2: move on the behalf of OTB and by the Steelers,
- 26:57Speaker 2: and I'm just fantastic to see what else is coming
- 26:59Speaker 2: down the line in terms of growing the game of
- 27:01Speaker 2: American football here and growing Steers Nation in Ireland.
- 27:06Speaker 1: The idea of the video aspect g it goes probably
- 27:10Speaker 1: the best optionical well, with now both Northern side of
- 27:13Speaker 1: the Border OTVS later in this so it's great to see.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I know, Jarring the team are big NFL fans. He's
- 27:19Speaker 1: he's very excited about this year and I believe that
- 27:21Speaker 1: they will that they'll be able to listen to this
- 27:23Speaker 1: podcast on the app as well, So a warm welcome
- 27:25Speaker 1: to everybody listening. It grows bigger and bigger. You must
- 27:29Speaker 1: be sitting here thinking what a year this has been.
- 27:31Speaker 3: One pinch himself with how big it's gotten already to
- 27:34Speaker 3: be honesty, it's it's as just echo everything Jimmy said,
- 27:38Speaker 3: you know, off the balls, there's a massive you know,
- 27:40Speaker 3: it grows as sports, It grews any sport even you know,
- 27:43Speaker 3: Gaelic football. It's it's playing a big, massive part in
- 27:46Speaker 3: promoting across the island of obviously maybe doesn't need it
- 27:49Speaker 3: as much as our sport does, but and yeah, it
- 27:52Speaker 3: was great, great to hear about if they know they're
- 27:54Speaker 3: taking a keen interest in it, and you know, obviously
- 27:57Speaker 3: our podcast will be available on there as well, which
- 27:59Speaker 3: is good. So maybe a little bit of a throwback
- 28:01Speaker 3: for the old school finds that you know, they makeing
- 28:03Speaker 3: what the visual aspect they listened to on the radio
- 28:06Speaker 3: and you know, sit back and have a cup of
- 28:08Speaker 3: day while they're doing it. So yeah, that's what I
- 28:11Speaker 3: heard about it I was, I was sort of. I
- 28:14Speaker 3: jumped at them and said that could barely contain myself
- 28:15Speaker 3: with excitement, if you know what I mean. So roll on,
- 28:19Speaker 3: roll on the off the wall odds, and let's keep us.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Let's obviously keep this this train rule and keep her
- 28:24Speaker 3: a fantastic gear, keep her letters, as a wise man
- 28:27Speaker 3: would say.
- 28:28Speaker 1: As Mike Rowley once said, put on off loan, boys,
- 28:30Speaker 1: but put on off film. Well, you can definitely put
- 28:32Speaker 1: on OTB not as well and listen on. Recommend everyone,
- 28:36Speaker 1: even if you're watching the game a game past the weekend,
- 28:38Speaker 1: or if the game is on Sky, or if that
- 28:40Speaker 1: is confirmed. Listening to the audi was pretty cool here
- 28:43Speaker 1: in the Playbate play with the Steelers. Guys, let's you know,
- 28:47Speaker 1: just before we end the podcast, boys, let's let's jump
- 28:50Speaker 1: very briefly and give our initial impressions of this game. Jimmy,
- 28:54Speaker 1: I'm intrigued by this taxing scheme only for the sense
- 28:57Speaker 1: of well, thank god. First off, for all us boys
- 29:00Speaker 1: and boys and gals listening to this podcast. It's an
- 29:03Speaker 1: early kickoff. I'm in London on Sunday, so I'm going
- 29:07Speaker 1: to miss the at least the first quarter of this
- 29:10Speaker 1: n RGC the six PM. I t it's on the
- 29:14Speaker 1: NFL game pass on and off the ball. I'll double
- 29:16Speaker 1: check with people in confirment social if it's on TV
- 29:19Speaker 1: this week and the Texans has been really interesting because
- 29:22Speaker 1: we've seen the combination of c Destroud and Nico Collins.
- 29:26Speaker 1: Thank Dell looks great as well. So it's going to
- 29:27Speaker 1: be a test for this team going into the Staters,
- 29:29Speaker 1: and I guess for the neutral it'll be a very
- 29:33Speaker 1: exciting matchup on both sides of the ball. But for
- 29:35Speaker 1: the Steelers, you've got to go in. You got to
- 29:37Speaker 1: continue this positivity and go into Houston and try and
- 29:40Speaker 1: get the result and get out of there.
- 29:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Absolutely, I think the biggest thing for the Steelers is
- 29:45Speaker 2: to continue to build an offense. Take Moore, take the
- 29:48Speaker 2: positivity and progression from from last night, and build on that.
- 29:53Speaker 2: I mean, hopefully a couple of more of those dime
- 29:55Speaker 2: passes from Kenny to to Calvin Austin would be nice.
- 29:58Speaker 2: I'd also like to see a bit of a run
- 30:00Speaker 2: game developing, more so than we have than we've already had.
- 30:04Speaker 2: And I think for the defense, I mean, okay, fair
- 30:07Speaker 2: enough DeVante Adams had I think one hundred and seventy
- 30:10Speaker 2: yards on and two touchdowns, But it could have been
- 30:13Speaker 2: a whole lot worse. And I don't think that he
- 30:16Speaker 2: cut up the secondary as much as I was expecting.
- 30:19Speaker 2: So like, honestly, I think just more of the same.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Defense is playing at a really really elite high level,
- 30:26Speaker 2: one of the one of the best defenses in the
- 30:28Speaker 2: league now at the middlege and I might I might
- 30:30Speaker 2: be slightly biased than that, but the results speak for
- 30:32Speaker 2: themselves after the last couple of weeks. So I think
- 30:35Speaker 2: the biggest thing and that we need to see against
- 30:38Speaker 2: the Texans is is the offense is there is establishing
- 30:43Speaker 2: a run game, and I think if we can, if
- 30:45Speaker 2: we can rattle rookie CJ. Stroud, that will go a
- 30:48Speaker 2: long way. And I think based on the way that
- 30:50Speaker 2: our defensive ends are playing that that shouldn't be too
- 30:52Speaker 2: much of a problem.
- 30:54Speaker 1: I think Jimmy's bang on. I think this defense is
- 30:57Speaker 1: up there with one of the best in the league.
- 30:59Speaker 1: It's gonna be unlike. This scheme is going to be
- 31:01Speaker 1: on TV and Ireland this weekend because you've got that
- 31:03Speaker 1: Bells Dolphins game that has not been it will be
- 31:05Speaker 1: confirmed in the next few days. We'll keep you updated
- 31:07Speaker 1: on social state at any initial thoughts I have this
- 31:09Speaker 1: scheme is Sunday.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it would surprise you. I completely agree. But the
- 31:14Speaker 3: number one defense, as Jimmy says, you know, I don't.
- 31:16Speaker 3: I don't think there's a defense that comes close to
- 31:17Speaker 3: us because we've got that star player TJ. Watt, and
- 31:21Speaker 3: you know, obviously just with the Taxans, you know, a
- 31:23Speaker 3: lot of people may be looked at them and thought
- 31:25Speaker 3: they're potential number one peck in the draft.
- 31:27Speaker 4: I c J.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Strouds has played out of his skin, had that impressive
- 31:30Speaker 3: when over Jacksonville last week as well. So initial thoughts
- 31:34Speaker 3: when I looked at the game, I was like, oh,
- 31:35Speaker 3: it's an easy w But now it's it's about, well,
- 31:39Speaker 3: we'll need to go down there and we're going to
- 31:40Speaker 3: have to put our best foot forward. And as Jimmy said,
- 31:43Speaker 3: you know, if we can establish the wrong game we
- 31:44Speaker 3: had the glimmers of it this week on Sunday and night,
- 31:47Speaker 3: if we can establish that even more, and obviously just
- 31:50Speaker 3: it's a good starting point now to start off with,
- 31:52Speaker 3: you know, with Kenny having that good game on their
- 31:54Speaker 3: spout and just hopefully we can take it to that
- 31:56Speaker 3: next level and obviously say, you know it's probably a
- 31:58Speaker 3: good team to play against. You know, it could be
- 32:00Speaker 3: worse would be getting the Chiefs or something like that,
- 32:02Speaker 3: which you don't obviously want to come into. But as
- 32:05Speaker 3: I said, as Jimmy said, you know, it's just about
- 32:07Speaker 3: getting to that next level and pushing on with the
- 32:10Speaker 3: execution and all said fingers crossed for a w at
- 32:12Speaker 3: the end of the day.
- 32:14Speaker 1: If you're heading to the game at Wembley on Sunday,

- 32:35Speaker 1: Taxans game of a special guest. More to coming up.
