Lincoln Memorial Pool Drain Mystery | Eau Claire News
The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is drained and under wraps after a controversial “American flag blue” paint job, amid claims of massive vandalism and algae blooms — despite a $14 million renovation. Officials say vandals caused gashes up to 300 yards long, though evidence is hard to verify with fencing up and the pool exposed. Some have even been charged for allegedly stealing paint.
