- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan. Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on seven tenor.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Hey, well, we got a lot to go over here.
- 0:12Speaker 2: We'll get to the Mom Donnie Trump meeting, what that
- 0:15Speaker 2: was all about. We'll get to the media myths that
- 0:19Speaker 2: they create all weekend, like Marjorie Taylor Green and illegal
- 0:23Speaker 2: orders to the military, and the Ukraine deal and all
- 0:27Speaker 2: of that. We'll get to the Thanksgiving Day parade. This
- 0:30Speaker 2: is the week Thursday. The weather doesn't look so good.
- 0:33Speaker 2: It looks like high winds are possible on Thursday. It's
- 0:36Speaker 2: a little too early to be sure, but if the
- 0:39Speaker 2: winds are that high, that means they lower the balloons
- 0:42Speaker 2: down shorter ropes and not quite the same. It never
- 0:46Speaker 2: looks as good like the floater, like just five feet
- 0:49Speaker 2: above the ground. It doesn't look right. But again it's
- 0:53Speaker 2: only Monday. Things can change. So the Mom Donnie meeting, well,
- 1:01Speaker 2: you gotta remember with Donald Trump, it's all a brilliant strategy.
- 1:06Speaker 2: It's very, very, very strategic. And it looked like, boy,
- 1:11Speaker 2: they just hit it off. He was so friendly. They
- 1:14Speaker 2: were like, it was like this bromance. It was. But
- 1:17Speaker 2: remember that's always how he does. The first meeting. That's
- 1:20Speaker 2: what he did with Putin. You remember that first meeting
- 1:22Speaker 2: in Alaska, boy with a friendly It was a love fest.
- 1:25Speaker 2: He always says that in the first meeting he's got
- 1:27Speaker 2: a whole strategy, which don't try to figure it out.
- 1:31Speaker 2: It's four dimensional chests. Only he understands it. If you
- 1:34Speaker 2: ask him to explain it to you, and he does,
- 1:36Speaker 2: he's leaving out half of it. I mean, it's very, very,
- 1:40Speaker 2: very strategic. So and I mean I've noticed one thing
- 1:44Speaker 2: he's learned how to do good cop, bad cop by
- 1:48Speaker 2: himself look in different meetings. So this was good cop.
- 1:51Speaker 2: It went very well. There were a couple I know
- 1:56Speaker 2: some of the strategy that was going on there. I
- 1:58Speaker 2: don't know the negotiating strategy of It's like like with
- 2:02Speaker 2: a fish, like you let the line out, let him
- 2:04Speaker 2: swim a little, then you reel it back in, then
- 2:06Speaker 2: you'll let it out again, then you're reeling back in.
- 2:09Speaker 2: So he's doing that with Mom Donnie. Now it was
- 2:11Speaker 2: Mom Donnie that asked for the meeting, not Trump. You know,
- 2:16Speaker 2: they talked about meeting at some point, but it seemed
- 2:19Speaker 2: to happen very quickly. But it was Mom Donnie that
- 2:22Speaker 2: wanted this meeting, and he went to a couple of
- 2:25Speaker 2: people who knew friends of Trump, and they broke at
- 2:29Speaker 2: the meeting. They arranged for this meeting. Mom Donnie used
- 2:35Speaker 2: whatever connections he could find to set up this meeting,
- 2:40Speaker 2: and his team flew down to Washington, and the crazy
- 2:44Speaker 2: media gave him flack about flying. Why didn't you take
- 2:46Speaker 2: the train? What's the difference whether he flew or took
- 2:50Speaker 2: the train. Trump, as he did a number of times,
- 2:53Speaker 2: jumped in to defend him from these nasty questions. He said, Hey,
- 2:56Speaker 2: the guy's busy. The guy's putting together a whole administration.
- 2:59Speaker 2: He's busy. They have time to take the train. So
- 3:02Speaker 2: he flew down. Now, part of the deal was Trump
- 3:08Speaker 2: agreed to the meeting, but Mam Donnie was told not
- 3:10Speaker 2: to push any of his leftist agenda during any press
- 3:15Speaker 2: conference it might take place. So he was very careful
- 3:17Speaker 2: not to do that. But he had agreed ahead of
- 3:18Speaker 2: time not to do that. Now, Trump does want to
- 3:23Speaker 2: continue with the deportation plans get the illegals out, but
- 3:27Speaker 2: he wanted to show Mom Donnie it's nothing personally, He's
- 3:30Speaker 2: not hostile to him personally, and that he will give
- 3:34Speaker 2: him a chance. He's not just gonna come running in
- 3:36Speaker 2: with National Guard and ice. He's gonna give Mom Donnie
- 3:39Speaker 2: as much of a chance as possible. The other purpose
- 3:43Speaker 2: of the meeting, Trump is trying to sow some discord
- 3:48Speaker 2: in the Democratic Party. He's trying to create a little
- 3:51Speaker 2: war in the Democratic Party. By getting very chummy with
- 3:55Speaker 2: Mom Donnie and having Mom Donnie appear to be very
- 3:58Speaker 2: chummy with him, is to stir up a little trouble
- 4:03Speaker 2: among Democrats and the Socialists, and seems to be working. Also,
- 4:09Speaker 2: remember Trump always loves to be unpredictable. If everybody's expecting
- 4:13Speaker 2: a fight, you won't get a fight. If they think
- 4:16Speaker 2: everything's gonna be wonderful, he'll give you a fight. So
- 4:19Speaker 2: it was very good. They talked about in the press
- 4:22Speaker 2: convens that they had a shared purpose and they both
- 4:26Speaker 2: wanted the same things, and you know they could argue
- 4:28Speaker 2: about how to get it. Jessica Tish staying on was
- 4:33Speaker 2: a key thing. Trump mentioned that said, he and his
- 4:36Speaker 2: family very close to Jessica Tish. They like her. Then
- 4:39Speaker 2: you know it's funny, Mom Donnie STIs talking about affordability
- 4:41Speaker 2: building housing, affordability building house, Ma'm Donnie as if this
- 4:45Speaker 2: is his big mission in life is to build this
- 4:47Speaker 2: housing is affordability. Now here's a guy, Ma'm donnie was
- 4:50Speaker 2: twelve years old, never had a job in his life.
- 4:53Speaker 2: He's sitting next to a guy who's built hundreds of
- 4:55Speaker 2: thousands of houses, literally low income houses. You know, the
- 4:59Speaker 2: Trump family business. Actually one of the biggest parts of
- 5:02Speaker 2: it is the low income housing Brooklyn and Queens started
- 5:05Speaker 2: by his grandfather and his father and Trump ran that
- 5:07Speaker 2: business for years. It's still part of the Trump organization,
- 5:11Speaker 2: but they operate like seventy five thousand middle class, low income,
- 5:16Speaker 2: middle income houses in Brooklyn and Queens. So when it
- 5:19Speaker 2: comes to affordable housing, Trump Trump has an incredible track record,
- 5:23Speaker 2: Mom Donnie, it's just a dream. It's just a pipe
- 5:25Speaker 2: dream of his. And if you were talking about building housing,
- 5:30Speaker 2: if you needed a house built, you needed a house built,
- 5:34Speaker 2: who would you go to, Mom Donnie and his team
- 5:37Speaker 2: of wacky socialists, or wo'd you go to Trump? Who
- 5:40Speaker 2: has the Trump Organization and one hundred thousand people ready
- 5:44Speaker 2: to go to build anything you want anytime. So it
- 5:47Speaker 2: was kind of funny Mom Donnie explaining housing to Trump.
- 5:50Speaker 2: But okay, but again, the shared goals are there, they
- 5:54Speaker 2: want We're going to work together.
- 5:55Speaker 3: We're going to make sure that if they're horrible people there,
- 5:58Speaker 3: we want to get them out. Wants to get him out,
- 6:01Speaker 3: maybe more than I do, so we'll work together.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Yeah, if you got bad people, criminal illegals, you want
- 6:06Speaker 2: to get him out first, Mom Donnie. It went very well.
- 6:09Speaker 4: I appreciated the meeting with the President, and as he said,
- 6:12Speaker 4: it was a productive meeting focused on a place of
- 6:15Speaker 4: shared admiration and love, which is New York City.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yeah, they both he's talking about New York, not each other.
- 6:20Speaker 2: They both share in love New York.
- 6:21Speaker 3: I think you're going to have, hopefully a really great mayor.
- 6:24Speaker 2: The better he.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Does, the happier I am. I will say, there's no
- 6:28Speaker 3: difference in party, there's no difference in anything.
- 6:31Speaker 5: And we're going to be helping him.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Now. Everybody's been living in terror, the idea of Mom
- 6:34Speaker 2: Donnie taking over January first as mayor of New York.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Everybody's talking about fleeing, leaving, moving out. So this was
- 6:40Speaker 2: kind of reassuring to people and for a lot of
- 6:44Speaker 2: these people. When Trump says, you know what, he might
- 6:46Speaker 2: be good, he might be very well. That calms people down.
- 6:48Speaker 2: So it did a lot a lot to calm people down.
- 6:51Speaker 3: We had a meeting today that actually surprised me. He
- 6:54Speaker 3: wants to see no crime, he wants to see housing
- 6:58Speaker 3: being built, he wants to see Ren's come down, all
- 7:00Speaker 3: things that I agree with.
- 7:01Speaker 4: I know it might be differences about ideology, but the
- 7:04Speaker 4: place of agreement is the work that needs to be
- 7:06Speaker 4: done to make New York City affordable.
- 7:07Speaker 2: So it was a very important meeting as far as
- 7:10Speaker 2: calming people down. Also, you know, if you take care
- 7:13Speaker 2: of crime, that's the one thing that came out of
- 7:15Speaker 2: there that he will try to keep New York safe.
- 7:17Speaker 2: As long as the crime is down and New York
- 7:19Speaker 2: is safe, that's ninety nine percent of it. That fixes everything,
- 7:23Speaker 2: that keeps people here, that keeps tourists coming, which is
- 7:26Speaker 2: a big source of revenue income, that keeps people New
- 7:30Speaker 2: Yorker's out shopping, going out doing stuff, spending money. The
- 7:33Speaker 2: economy booms long as crime is down. So we'll get
- 7:37Speaker 2: back to the mom Donnie meeting. Hey, let me just
- 7:40Speaker 2: clear up something. If you're watching these crazy Sunday shows,
- 7:43Speaker 2: if you watch the Sunday shows, you will have no
- 7:45Speaker 2: idea what the hell's going on in the world. They
- 7:47Speaker 2: just lie to you and conjure up all sorts of nonsense.
- 7:50Speaker 2: So a big theme of the Sunday Show and all
- 7:52Speaker 2: This MSNBC and all this is the huge breakup of
- 7:58Speaker 2: Marjorie Taylor Green and Donald Trump. Got an incredible breakup
- 8:01Speaker 2: there amazing rift that said, first of all, this is
- 8:05Speaker 2: all fiction. Donald Trump had absolutely no connection to Marjorie
- 8:09Speaker 2: Taylor Green. He had nothing to do with Marjorie Taylor
- 8:12Speaker 2: Green nothing. There was no relationship of any kind. There's
- 8:16Speaker 2: no breakup. She's in Congress. He's in the White House
- 8:20Speaker 2: once in a while, a couple times a year for
- 8:23Speaker 2: some reason or other, at some event ors something, they'd
- 8:25Speaker 2: be in the same room, and he was always very
- 8:27Speaker 2: cordial to her. Otherwise, they had zero relationship. Out of
- 8:33Speaker 2: all the people in Congress, the one he has no
- 8:35Speaker 2: relationship with was Marjorie Taylor Green. There's some people in
- 8:39Speaker 2: Congress he's pretty close to, you know, like Pennsylvania's new
- 8:42Speaker 2: Senator Dave McCormick. Trump calls them all the time. They
- 8:45Speaker 2: talk a lot. He invites him to the White House
- 8:47Speaker 2: all the time, not just all the state dinners, but
- 8:50Speaker 2: every couple of weeks, he has Dave McCormick come up
- 8:52Speaker 2: and they have dinner. Mike Johnson, same thing. If you
- 8:55Speaker 2: look at these state dinners and events, Trump invites people,
- 8:59Speaker 2: but you also look at the private dinners he's been holding.
- 9:03Speaker 2: There's a lot of people in Congress that he's invited
- 9:05Speaker 2: to these private dinners all the time. Never Marjorie Taylor Green.
- 9:08Speaker 2: He's never had any relationship of any kind with her.
- 9:11Speaker 2: So they try to make it look like this incredible
- 9:13Speaker 2: rift breakup. They don't even know each other. She announced
- 9:17Speaker 2: she's leaving. She's dropping out. She's decided to leave on principal.
- 9:23Speaker 2: The principle is she knows she can't win. He's not
- 9:25Speaker 2: going to support her. He's going to support the opponent,
- 9:27Speaker 2: so she's got no shot. So she's leaving.
- 9:29Speaker 6: I have too much self respect and dignity. I love
- 9:32Speaker 6: my family way too much, and I do not want
- 9:35Speaker 6: my sweet district to have to endure a hurtful and
- 9:39Speaker 6: hateful primary.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Okay, well, all right, that's good.
- 9:43Speaker 6: It's all so absurd and completely unseerious. I refuse to
- 9:47Speaker 6: be a battered wife, hoping it all goes away and
- 9:50Speaker 6: gets better. O. Hi, everyone, I've always represented the common
- 9:55Speaker 6: American man and woman as a member of the House
- 9:58Speaker 6: of Representatives, which is why I've.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Now the problem is where does she go? You know,
- 10:05Speaker 2: if you're suddenly a Trump hater, you usually want to
- 10:08Speaker 2: go to MSNBC, but she yang. You can't have that
- 10:11Speaker 2: haced County fair sound at MSNBC. They're too highbrow for that.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I don't think she's even sophisticated enough to be on
- 10:18Speaker 2: the view. I don't think Fox has much use for her.
- 10:22Speaker 2: She's not a great policy analyst or anything, so I
- 10:25Speaker 2: don't know what the hell she's going to do. She
- 10:27Speaker 2: does have a successful business, she and her husband. I
- 10:31Speaker 2: think it's a family business. It's a construction business or
- 10:34Speaker 2: something like that. Successful business woman, so she could continue
- 10:38Speaker 2: to do that. Otherwise, again, no rift with Trump. He
- 10:41Speaker 2: had nothing to do with her, no relationship with her whatsoever.
- 10:45Speaker 2: The other fake story all weekend is that ridiculous video
- 10:50Speaker 2: that these people in Congress put out telling the military, Look,
- 10:57Speaker 2: if you receive an illegal order, we have your back door.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I don't worry if you get you know, they ran
- 11:02Speaker 2: this thing everywhere. They picked some people in Congress that
- 11:05Speaker 2: had minor military service. That was they always used that
- 11:09Speaker 2: for cover. You know, John Kerry was the most famous one,
- 11:12Speaker 2: and when he ran for president in two thousand and four,
- 11:14Speaker 2: he had very, very minor military service in Vietnam. He
- 11:17Speaker 2: was in Vietnam for a couple of months. He got
- 11:21Speaker 2: the hell out of there as soon as he could.
- 11:24Speaker 2: It was only there like two months. But he made
- 11:27Speaker 2: it sound like he was General Patton, like he was
- 11:29Speaker 2: a major military figure, and he ran against Bush on
- 11:32Speaker 2: his military experience. His military experience was twenty three years earlier.
- 11:37Speaker 2: For two months he was in Vietnam. Bush, on the
- 11:39Speaker 2: other end, for the past four years, had been the
- 11:41Speaker 2: commander in chief of the entire US military. So obviously
- 11:44Speaker 2: when it came to a military experience, Bush won easily
- 11:47Speaker 2: on that one. But these people are putting out these
- 11:50Speaker 2: videos about the illegal orders. While we familiar now that's
- 11:53Speaker 2: a whole made up controversy. Nobody has ever heard of
- 11:56Speaker 2: any illegal order anywhere involving this isdministration, the last administration,
- 12:01Speaker 2: the administration before the last illegal order. I guess it'd
- 12:07Speaker 2: be nineteen sixty eight, the Melai massacre. Remember that they
- 12:10Speaker 2: massacred some civilians in Vietnam. But that's what is that
- 12:14Speaker 2: Sixty years ago, sixty years ago, and you have to
- 12:18Speaker 2: go back that there's no such thing as illegal orders
- 12:20Speaker 2: going around. It's a whole fake controversy, and it was
- 12:23Speaker 2: carefully calculated to get the President to overrespond. The media
- 12:28Speaker 2: would jump all over it. However, even the Sunday shows,
- 12:32Speaker 2: which are totally corrupt, would ask these people, and they
- 12:35Speaker 2: have mine, could you name an example of an illegal order?
- 12:38Speaker 2: There's no such thing.
- 12:39Speaker 7: But I am not aware of things that are illegal.
- 12:42Speaker 7: But certainly there are some legal gymnastics that are going
- 12:45Speaker 7: on with these Caribbean strikes and everything related to Venezuela.
- 12:49Speaker 2: No, there are.
- 12:50Speaker 7: The reason we put that statement out is because the
- 12:52Speaker 7: sheer number of frankly young officers who are coming to
- 12:55Speaker 7: us and saying, I just am not sure. What do
- 12:57Speaker 7: I do? You know, I'm in Southcomb and I'm involved
- 13:01Speaker 7: in the National Guard. I'm just not sure what.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Do I do?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Now? This is complete nonsense. He's making them up. There's
- 13:07Speaker 2: no young military people calling represent Congresswoman Slot and what
- 13:11Speaker 2: do I do. There's nobody in the National Guard calling
- 13:14Speaker 2: up Slot. Hey, I started to bother you, Well, what
- 13:16Speaker 2: do I do? There's nobody asking that it's all made up? Well,
- 13:20Speaker 2: this is that old hag Martha Radics.
- 13:22Speaker 8: Do you believe President Trump has issued any illegal orders?
- 13:27Speaker 7: To my knowledge, I am not aware of things that
- 13:30Speaker 7: are illegal, but certainly there are some legal gymnastics that
- 13:33Speaker 7: are going on with these Caribbean strikes and everything related
- 13:36Speaker 7: to Venezuela.
- 13:39Speaker 2: So it's a good idea. I guess they got away
- 13:41Speaker 2: with it. I mean only because the media is so corrupt.
- 13:43Speaker 2: You make up a whole fake controversy and then if
- 13:46Speaker 2: anybody asked you for an example, well, uh, at this point,
- 13:50Speaker 2: I'm not aware. At this point of you make it
- 13:53Speaker 2: look like it's a possibility. It's not even a possibility.
- 13:55Speaker 2: It's all nonsense. But when you've got corrupt media, you
- 13:59Speaker 2: can get away with stuff like this. Hey, coming up,
- 14:02Speaker 2: we'll do it in the next hour. Trump derangement syndrome,
- 14:07Speaker 2: you know, we call it that Trump derangement syndrome. These
- 14:10Speaker 2: Trump haters, they go insane when you bring up Trump.
- 14:13Speaker 2: They start ranting and raving, they start fuming when you
- 14:16Speaker 2: bring up Trump. The hatred though, so it got the
- 14:21Speaker 2: nickname Trump derangement syndrome. It turns out it's a real thing.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Psychologists psychiatrists have declared it an actual illness. There's one
- 14:30Speaker 2: great psychiatrist I forget his name, but he wrote a
- 14:33Speaker 2: op ed about a week ago in the Wall Street
- 14:35Speaker 2: Journal saying it's a very serious disease, Trump arrangement syndrome,
- 14:39Speaker 2: and he's been treating it. So the guy's been getting
- 14:43Speaker 2: death threads, bomb threads. But it's a real thing.
- 14:46Speaker 9: Now.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Another one of our great psychologists, doctor Keith Ablow, will
- 14:50Speaker 2: have him on in the next hour, because he's been
- 14:52Speaker 2: studying Trump derangement syndrome. It's been coming up I guess
- 14:57Speaker 2: with his patients and in his practice, and normally things
- 15:01Speaker 2: come up in your practice, like you know, a patient says,
- 15:05Speaker 2: I get a little depressed at Thanksgiving. Well I don't
- 15:07Speaker 2: really like thanks that's a little thing. But he started
- 15:10Speaker 2: to notice with this Trump arrangements and it's not a
- 15:12Speaker 2: little thing. It's like a major major. So we'll go.
- 15:15Speaker 2: We'll we'll talk to an expert on what it is,
- 15:17Speaker 2: how to cure it. Also, maybe he'll give us some
- 15:19Speaker 2: advice because you're probably going to a Thanksgiving dinner what
- 15:23Speaker 2: to do with the crazy, kooky left wing nut job
- 15:27Speaker 2: relatives who have Trumped arrangement syndrome. And we'll get to that.
- 15:32Speaker 2: We've got all these TV screens. One of them is MSNBC,
- 15:36Speaker 2: which is no longer. It's now called ms now. They
- 15:39Speaker 2: were thrown out of the NBC building. NBC got rid
- 15:43Speaker 2: of the company, spun it off. They don't want anything
- 15:45Speaker 2: to do with MSNBC. Then they told them take our
- 15:48Speaker 2: name off it. It's now called ms NOW, and then
- 15:51Speaker 2: they threw them out of the building. They've been evicted.
- 15:53Speaker 2: They're now in a little studio in Times Square. So
- 15:55Speaker 2: I'm watching it.
- 15:57Speaker 10: You know.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Nowadays the set is like big TV screens behind you.
- 16:01Speaker 2: It's digital, so you can take a picture of the
- 16:03Speaker 2: old set and put it behind you, so it looks
- 16:05Speaker 2: like you're in the same place. But if you ever
- 16:07Speaker 2: watch it, notice you can tell they're in a much
- 16:10Speaker 2: much smaller room. You know, like when you watch Morning Joe,
- 16:13Speaker 2: that big round desk. They say it was huge, like
- 16:17Speaker 2: from one guy to the other side of the desk
- 16:18Speaker 2: was like twenty feet. Now it's like three feet. Everything
- 16:22Speaker 2: is smaller, tinier. They've been evicted. Also, when they used
- 16:25Speaker 2: to go to the correspondent in the field in the Paris,
- 16:29Speaker 2: we switched now to our NBC News correspondent in Paris
- 16:32Speaker 2: now they go to our MS now correspondent and it's
- 16:36Speaker 2: some third rate stringer has nothing to do with then network.
- 16:39Speaker 2: So it got very cheap, very fast. But see if
- 16:41Speaker 2: you notice. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred
- 16:45Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight
- 16:48Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten. Give WOOR a
- 16:53Speaker 2: breseet on the iHeart radio app to hear marximone and
- 16:57Speaker 2: all the WOOR hosts in an instead.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simo show on w o R.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Jack in Mexico. Jack,
- 17:09Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 17:10Speaker 11: Good morning, Good morning?
- 17:12Speaker 2: What are you doing in Mexico? You're working at cartel?
- 17:14Speaker 2: What's going on there?
- 17:15Speaker 9: Oh?
- 17:16Speaker 2: Here, he's looking for some business Salamco.
- 17:21Speaker 5: You here, you're nice, nice and long clear down here.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Oh okay, that's an app on the radio app. Yeah,
- 17:28Speaker 2: the iHeart app very good. And what do you want
- 17:30Speaker 2: to say? Jack, That's all I just wanted to say.
- 17:33Speaker 2: You know you we listened to you around the world.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Oh okay, well great, well, love having you listen there
- 17:38Speaker 2: in Mexico. Have fun down there. Thanks for calling. Let's
- 17:41Speaker 2: go to uh Michael on the East side. Michael, how
- 17:44Speaker 2: you doing.
- 17:46Speaker 12: Hey, Marco, He's a pleasure and I live in the synagogue.
- 17:50Speaker 12: When commissioner spoke.
- 17:54Speaker 2: This Parky Synagogue, Yes, Parky Synagogue, one of the most
- 17:59Speaker 2: prominent New York City street. They had this terrible, ugly
- 18:03Speaker 2: protest the other day that got totally I was outside.
- 18:07Speaker 12: Were at the protest.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Yeah, well they called it a protest. It was actually
- 18:10Speaker 2: Muslim terrorism that was taking place. Thank you Muslim terrorists.
- 18:18Speaker 2: And now the commissioners apparently went back to the synagogue
- 18:22Speaker 2: and apologized for not handling it properly. You were there,
- 18:24Speaker 2: tell us about it.
- 18:25Speaker 9: That was.
- 18:26Speaker 12: That was at the end of her speech that she
- 18:30Speaker 12: gave a powerful talk. You could see it came from
- 18:34Speaker 12: the heart and you could hear in a voice. And
- 18:38Speaker 12: at the end she indicated that the police fell down
- 18:44Speaker 12: on the job. But two things. One she went downstairs
- 18:50Speaker 12: for the luncheon, which we call a kiddish and you
- 18:54Speaker 12: could speak to her one on one and that was
- 19:00Speaker 12: And also an announced Robert Quaft spoke to the synagogue
- 19:07Speaker 12: and he brought the house down. He is one villain wrap.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Yes, that's synagogue and Parky Synagogue. She did apologize and
- 19:17Speaker 2: said they did not have the barricade set up far
- 19:20Speaker 2: enough away. They let him get too close. And she
- 19:22Speaker 2: was it true? She got a standing ovation at the
- 19:24Speaker 2: end of her speech.
- 19:25Speaker 12: Yes, oh absolutely, but most of the talk did not
- 19:30Speaker 12: involve that apology.
- 19:32Speaker 10: All right, that.
- 19:34Speaker 12: Is at the very end.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Michael Good report, Thanks for calling, Thanks for filling us
- 19:39Speaker 2: in there. It's a great synagogue. That's rabb by Schneier,
- 19:41Speaker 2: and it was Muslim terrorists that went after the people
- 19:46Speaker 2: at that synagogue the other day, commissioner apologizing for not
- 19:49Speaker 2: properly containing them. Let's go to John in Connecticut. John,
- 19:53Speaker 2: how you doing fine? How are you good? Look at this,
- 19:57Speaker 2: We go from the Parky synagogue to the most entile
- 20:00Speaker 2: guy in Connecticut. Go ahead, Diversity, right, where are you
- 20:06Speaker 2: in Connecticut?
- 20:08Speaker 5: I'm just curious.
- 20:08Speaker 9: I'm just curious.
- 20:10Speaker 5: And so what your take is on this Ukrainian peace plant?
- 20:13Speaker 5: How for do you think it's going to get modified?
- 20:15Speaker 2: Oh, it'll get totally modified. It's just round one. We'll
- 20:18Speaker 2: get to that coming up in the next hour. And
- 20:20Speaker 2: it's just this is that this is round one. Where
- 20:22Speaker 2: are you in Connecticut? U Canaan, you can't get more gentile.
- 20:28Speaker 2: There's no synagogue in nu Canaan.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Is there a Mormon.
- 20:34Speaker 10: Oh?
- 20:34Speaker 2: Now, Canan's a beautiful town. You got all those great
- 20:36Speaker 2: restaurants you got. Gates has been there a million years
- 20:40Speaker 2: and uh you got You ever go to Ridgefield? Oh sure,
- 20:44Speaker 2: now that's right right above New Canon. Richfield's one of
- 20:46Speaker 2: the nicest towns in Connecticut. Got that Tara Soul Taras
- 20:50Speaker 2: Soul is a great restaurant. You got, Luke, You got
- 20:52Speaker 2: all these great places there. If you forget going to Vermont,
- 20:56Speaker 2: it's like seven hours and when you get there, it's
- 20:58Speaker 2: all people from Brooklyn run it. It's all Bernie Sanders types.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Go to Richfield, Canaan, it's the same thing. You'll think
- 21:04Speaker 2: you're in the middle of New England and it's wonderful.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent. How you doing?
- 21:10Speaker 11: Good morning, Mark Malcoam, Okay, good morning matter Mark. Saturday,
- 21:15Speaker 11: the topic of Rob astavino Saturday Afternoon show was what
- 21:19Speaker 11: was the most cringe worthy moment between the meeting of
- 21:23Speaker 11: Zoramandani and Donald Trump? And I would have to say,
- 21:26Speaker 11: and a lot of people said, and I quote, I
- 21:29Speaker 11: met with a man who is very a very rational person.
- 21:34Speaker 11: He's so rational that had he not been going to
- 21:37Speaker 11: meet Donald Trump Friday, he would have been at that
- 21:41Speaker 11: Parky synagogue, terrorizing all the congregants who were going into
- 21:46Speaker 11: the synagogue that was Cringeworth.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Vincent, let Trump play the game.
- 21:52Speaker 11: It's a game I'm still waiting for. We're still waiting
- 21:56Speaker 11: for him to check mat Kathy Hochel with the congestion pricing.
- 22:02Speaker 2: She's up to me, Well, that is such a little thing.
- 22:06Speaker 11: How do we know? How do we know he didn't
- 22:09Speaker 11: promise somebody else something in another state, another man, and
- 22:15Speaker 11: he's doing the same thing to them.
- 22:18Speaker 2: It's like when the Godfather meets Salazzo. They don't yell
- 22:20Speaker 2: at each other, Hello, how are you so nice to
- 22:23Speaker 2: meet a gentleman?
- 22:24Speaker 11: Been a meeting with me, the meeting would have lasted
- 22:28Speaker 11: about a minute. I would have all the people would
- 22:31Speaker 11: have seen was my rear end and Mandami's rear end
- 22:35Speaker 11: going to my office, and a minute later would have
- 22:38Speaker 11: came out, not even with me. I would have sat
- 22:41Speaker 11: him down and I would have told him, listen, you
- 22:43Speaker 11: break one federal law. You go a step too far.
- 22:48Speaker 11: My foot is going to be so far up your
- 22:51Speaker 11: rear end it'll come out of your mouth bout now
- 22:54Speaker 11: get okay.
- 22:55Speaker 2: But that's different. This is this is the president.
- 22:58Speaker 11: Let's see the results. Let's see the four dimensional jest
- 23:02Speaker 11: play out. Because that's far all right.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Remember as the Nixon said to that guy, Presidents don't threaten,
- 23:08Speaker 2: they don't have Presidents don't trend, they don't have to do.
- 23:11Speaker 11: I don't know about that.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Because you get overheated about this. Let trump.
- 23:16Speaker 11: I'm not well, maybe I'm passionate about it because I
- 23:21Speaker 11: don't see any scores on the scoreboard. In New York.
- 23:24Speaker 11: We still have congestion pricing. I you tell that that somebody.
- 23:28Speaker 2: You gotta forget about the congestion pricing, right because Trump's
- 23:31Speaker 2: not gonna do anything about that. It's just too small.
- 23:33Speaker 11: A don't mean it was just a campaign BS promise, No,
- 23:37Speaker 11: it was something.
- 23:38Speaker 2: But it's too It's like number seven thousand on the
- 23:40Speaker 2: list of things to get.
- 23:41Speaker 11: Well, you talk to anybody who's got to go through
- 23:44Speaker 11: that dantree every day. That's me spending forty five dollars
- 23:48Speaker 11: a week, one hundred.
- 23:51Speaker 2: You're gonna have congestion one hundred sixty a year. All right,
- 23:54Speaker 2: most important, most importantly.
- 23:57Speaker 11: Money, Most importantly, disagree with you.
- 23:59Speaker 2: On that, all right, we can. The most important thing
- 24:01Speaker 2: right now for Trump is crime in New York and
- 24:03Speaker 2: wants to keep the crime down, keep the police really.
- 24:05Speaker 11: And that the sender god Daddy had the night there
- 24:07Speaker 11: there was no crime yourself.
- 24:09Speaker 2: You call me there, understand, I understand. But let the
- 24:13Speaker 2: president do his thing.
- 24:15Speaker 11: Yeah, let's see. Let's see it. Maybe when he's out
- 24:18Speaker 11: of office, things will change when another man.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Vincent, we gotta go. We gotta do that, all right,
- 24:24Speaker 2: thanks for calling. When we come back, Howie Carr will
- 24:26Speaker 2: be with us. Let's see what he thought of the
- 24:28Speaker 2: Mom Donnie meeting. We'll get to that next on seven
- 24:31Speaker 2: to ten w.
- 24:32Speaker 13: R listener New York, Simone.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Well, Howie Carr one of the great talk show hosts
- 24:40Speaker 2: in America. You can hear him on iHeart. Just get
- 24:42Speaker 2: on the iHeart app, or you can go to Howie
- 24:44Speaker 2: Carrshow dot com. Get his show, get his podcast now
- 24:47Speaker 2: his new book. He's got a lot of bestsellers. But
- 24:49Speaker 2: his new book is called Mass Corruption. It just came
- 24:53Speaker 2: out on Amazon. You can order it now at Amazon
- 24:56Speaker 2: excellent book, Mass Corruption. How he Car's new book, Howie Carr,
- 25:00Speaker 2: How you.
- 25:01Speaker 8: Doing better than Jeffrey Epstein's good buddy Larry Summers at
- 25:07Speaker 8: Harvard University.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I dare say, now, what the hell was this married
- 25:10Speaker 2: man Larry Summers is trying to work on all these
- 25:13Speaker 2: women using Epstein as his dating coach. For what was
- 25:17Speaker 2: that all about?
- 25:18Speaker 8: How about going to a pedo island on his honeymoon
- 25:22Speaker 8: on the Lowita Express while the Palm Beach police are
- 25:26Speaker 8: crawling all over his sex dungeon in Palm Beach. You
- 25:29Speaker 8: know they've they already know this is what kind of
- 25:32Speaker 8: guy this iss they're doing the investigation. Trump has already
- 25:35Speaker 8: kicked him out of mar A Lago and Summers is
- 25:38Speaker 8: going down to his island.
- 25:40Speaker 10: And how about the fact that, too, Mark.
- 25:43Speaker 8: Mark, that no one in the in the regime control
- 25:47Speaker 8: media seems to want to mention that this one of
- 25:49Speaker 8: the women he was going after was this Chinese American
- 25:52Speaker 8: woman twenty seven years his junior. And you know what
- 25:57Speaker 8: they were calling here, No, you probably don't if you'd read,
- 26:00Speaker 8: If you you know, they were calling her peril as
- 26:04Speaker 8: in Chinese peril.
- 26:06Speaker 10: That's kind of a slur, isn't it.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Yeah? So, uh, for the for.
- 26:10Speaker 8: The former Treasury secretary under Clinton and the and the
- 26:14Speaker 8: president of Harvard University to be calling a an Asian
- 26:17Speaker 8: woman peril.
- 26:19Speaker 10: That's kind of bad, isn't it.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Why?
- 26:20Speaker 10: Why is this not in the papers?
- 26:22Speaker 2: Mark Well, I watched all those Sunday shows. All I
- 26:24Speaker 2: saw was Epstein, Trump, Epstein Trump. Then no mention Larry
- 26:27Speaker 2: Summers anywhere.
- 26:30Speaker 8: Nobody Bill Clinton or Bill Gates or Noam Chomsky or
- 26:34Speaker 8: Katie Cork or George.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Stephanopolis, Noam, Noam Schomsky. I missed that one. He's in there.
- 26:43Speaker 8: Yeah, Noam Chomsky said he was a very stimulating companion.
- 26:48Speaker 8: That's his exact words, his exact words. Yeah, and he's
- 26:53Speaker 8: a nom Trompsky is a ninety six. I mean, maybe
- 26:55Speaker 8: he's getting the same stuff as the Redstone was getting
- 26:58Speaker 8: at the end. I don't know, but yeah, he's Noam
- 27:01Speaker 8: Chomsky is on the list as well. Well, Ohen did
- 27:04Speaker 8: you know that they did you know that Larry Summers
- 27:08Speaker 8: and his wife invited Woody Allen and Sun Ye to
- 27:15Speaker 8: come to Cambridge and they want and his wife said
- 27:18Speaker 8: she wanted them to all share a.
- 27:20Speaker 10: Bowl of plumps. A bowl of plumps.
- 27:23Speaker 8: How come this isn't getting out, Mark, I don't understand
- 27:25Speaker 8: this so much. Good stuff in here, and they're not
- 27:27Speaker 8: reporting it.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I think they all have d's next to their name.
- 27:33Speaker 2: I'm still thinking about that stimulating companion. I mean I
- 27:36Speaker 2: talked to Epstein a few times. You ever talked to him? No,
- 27:39Speaker 2: I wouldn't call it stimulate. He was a good looking guy.
- 27:41Speaker 2: But then he'd say how were you? He had a
- 27:44Speaker 2: voice like that, you know, you not exactly stimulated. The
- 27:47Speaker 2: checkbook he had was stimulating because he would write your
- 27:50Speaker 2: check for whatever charity, political campaign, everything. I mean, that's
- 27:54Speaker 2: why everybody hung the around.
- 27:55Speaker 8: But yeah, he gave one hundred and ten thousand to missus.
- 27:58Speaker 8: Larry Summers while he was big dating advice on how
- 28:01Speaker 8: to get get into the pants of us peril called
- 28:05Speaker 8: a Chinese woman.
- 28:07Speaker 2: H Howe Carr. Let me ask you something you had
- 28:10Speaker 2: in Boston. You elected one of these crazy left wing
- 28:12Speaker 2: kook mayors. Uh, we just did the same thing. But
- 28:15Speaker 2: how bad did it get with a mayor like that
- 28:17Speaker 2: in Boston?
- 28:18Speaker 8: I tell you it gets, It gets bad. You know,
- 28:21Speaker 8: she's she's driving all the businesses out, you know. I mean,
- 28:25Speaker 8: you know we've our commercial real estate sector has got
- 28:29Speaker 8: the same problems that the Manhattan does and it's it's
- 28:34Speaker 8: it's only getting worse.
- 28:35Speaker 10: You know.
- 28:36Speaker 8: The weird thing is that the stuff that would have
- 28:38Speaker 8: been a scandal under earlier mayors is not. It's not
- 28:42Speaker 8: a scandal. I just found some stuff. You know, there's
- 28:44Speaker 8: been all kinds of crooked cops, you know, being you know,
- 28:48Speaker 8: having their cases broom, not getting fired. I found found
- 28:52Speaker 8: some stuff today from from a case where they said
- 28:55Speaker 8: the only way they refer to women is uh, if
- 28:58Speaker 8: you're a If you're a woman in the Boston Police Department,
- 29:02Speaker 8: you're either a lesbian, you're married to a cop, or
- 29:04Speaker 8: you're bleeping every other cop. I mean, if the if
- 29:07Speaker 8: Mayor Walsh, the Irish Catholic, had still been the mayor,
- 29:10Speaker 8: this would be a major scandal, you know. But it's
- 29:14Speaker 8: it's it's right down there on the public record. And
- 29:17Speaker 8: but it's but you know, you have Mayor Mayor Wu
- 29:19Speaker 8: and her black police commissioner and they just skate. And
- 29:23Speaker 8: I assume it's going to be the same thing in
- 29:25Speaker 8: New York, isn't it. You know, New York Times is
- 29:28Speaker 8: going to go after Mam Donnie.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Yeah, who knows. Maybe this guy isn't the crazy socialist.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Maybe he was playing them but the Trump Mamdanni meeting.
- 29:36Speaker 2: What do you think you're whistling through the graveyard.
- 29:38Speaker 8: You won't, I mean, your kid, yourself, You gotta you
- 29:42Speaker 8: gotta face the facts.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I mean.
- 29:46Speaker 8: I didn't think that Trump would, you know, uh, you know,
- 29:49Speaker 8: bounce an ash tray off his head or anything.
- 29:51Speaker 10: But it was.
- 29:52Speaker 8: It was more friendly than I thought I was gonna be.
- 29:54Speaker 8: Weren't you kind of surprised?
- 29:56Speaker 2: No, he always does that the first round. He did
- 29:58Speaker 2: it with Putin, he did it with the Kim Jong
- 30:00Speaker 2: un first round. He always does that. But uh, I
- 30:06Speaker 2: mean in the end, would you agree Trump is playing
- 30:09Speaker 2: some kind of four dimensional chess game with this guy?
- 30:12Speaker 10: Oh? Definitely, definitely.
- 30:14Speaker 8: I mean, this guy needs Trump a lot more than
- 30:16Speaker 8: Trump needs him. If I were Trump, I'd be I'd
- 30:20Speaker 8: be looking at all of his his and his family's
- 30:23Speaker 8: immigration papers.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Oh they are they are.
- 30:27Speaker 10: Oh that's good, that's good. I'm glad.
- 30:31Speaker 8: First first one to move against is ilhan Omar. I
- 30:34Speaker 8: can't believe they haven't moved already on her.
- 30:36Speaker 10: You know.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, we don't have much time left. Tell us
- 30:39Speaker 2: about the book. It's it just went on Amazon today.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Mass Corruption. It's how he car's latest book. You should
- 30:44Speaker 2: get this book.
- 30:45Speaker 8: Yeah, it's it's just uh, you know again, it's more
- 30:48Speaker 8: Democrats in Massachusetts. They tried to frame this woman. They
- 30:52Speaker 8: tried her once for murder, she was acquitted, they refuse
- 30:55Speaker 8: to accept the acquittal, that tried her again, and it's
- 30:59Speaker 8: just just outrageous. The district attorney and the state police
- 31:02Speaker 8: were trying to frame or they were I mean, they
- 31:05Speaker 8: were actually fabricating evidence, they were lying to the FBI.
- 31:11Speaker 8: They the FBI had to step in and actually save
- 31:14Speaker 8: this woman, Karen Reid, from being convicted. So it's about
- 31:17Speaker 8: it's about that case. And also there's there's rampant corruption
- 31:20Speaker 8: in the state police and some of the beginning stuff
- 31:23Speaker 8: in the Boston Police Department, which I'm turning up more
- 31:26Speaker 8: and more every day. It's just it's just about basically
- 31:30Speaker 8: as a police corruption. And again the FBI, which we've
- 31:33Speaker 8: talked about many times, the FBI was the FBI framed
- 31:37Speaker 8: multiple people in in the Boston area over the years,
- 31:41Speaker 8: just like just like I think they framed some people
- 31:43Speaker 8: in New York or at least they were involved in
- 31:45Speaker 8: some of the the Mafia gang wars in the seventies.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Well, they were in it's a hell of a book.
- 31:52Speaker 2: It's called Mass Corruption. It just came out on Amazon today,
- 31:56Speaker 2: So go order it by Howie Carr, Mass Corruption on Amazon.
- 31:59Speaker 2: And you want to hear his radio show, go go
- 32:01Speaker 2: to iheartor go to Howie Carshow dot com. Howie Carshow
- 32:06Speaker 2: dot com. Great stuff, Howie car Thanks for being with us.

- 32:35Speaker 2: to that in the next hour. I know, I forget
- 32:36Speaker 2: Buck and Clay with an excellent show today at noon.
- 32:40Speaker 2: And if you've been listening to Jimmy Faylor, what a
- 32:42Speaker 2: great show every night at nine right here on seven
- 32:45Speaker 2: to ten.
- 32:45Speaker 11: Wore the Mark Simon Show on sevent ten.

- 33:07Speaker 2: to that from an expert coming up in the next hour.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Also we'll get to the Ukraine deal and a whole
- 33:13Speaker 2: lot more. Just ahead. Mark Simone here every day, ten

- 33:21Speaker 2: the news on seven to ten.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Floor Mark Mark Simone on seven tenor.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Well, it's Monday, Thanksgiving week, It's Thursday's Thanksgiving and it
- 33:37Speaker 2: looks like a windy day. It may affect the parade,
- 33:40Speaker 2: they may have to lower the balloons. But we'll see
- 33:43Speaker 2: a little rain tomorrow maybe Wednesday morning, but Thursday, no rain.
- 33:48Speaker 2: It just could be very very windy. So if you're

- 33:53Speaker 2: get no fight about Trump and all that, we're going
- 33:55Speaker 2: to have some expert advice for you a little later
- 33:58Speaker 2: this hour. A great psychologist that doctor Keith Ablow, has
- 34:03Speaker 2: done a lot of work on Trump derangement syndrome. He's
- 34:07Speaker 2: sort of getting to the bottom of it psychologically, How
- 34:10Speaker 2: bad is it? What do you do with it? Who
- 34:11Speaker 2: gives that? Coming up? It's going to be a fascinating
- 34:14Speaker 2: later this hour, I noticed President Trump did not go
- 34:18Speaker 2: to mar A Lago this past weekend, even though it
- 34:21Speaker 2: was a cold, windy weekend in Washington, d C. Normally
- 34:26Speaker 2: you think he'd want to get down to Florida. But
- 34:29Speaker 2: he just didn't want to go to mar Alago this weekend.
- 34:31Speaker 2: There was nothing major on the schedule, nothing that would
- 34:35Speaker 2: keep him in Washington. I think maybe he's just a
- 34:39Speaker 2: little sick of those old ladies at mar Alago that
- 34:42Speaker 2: just chase him around the dining room. You know, if
- 34:43Speaker 2: he goes anywhere in mar A Lago, the million old
- 34:46Speaker 2: ladies you see in the pictures chase him around. How
- 34:48Speaker 2: wi you I wan you wow? I just think he
- 34:51Speaker 2: couldn't take it for the weekend. One thing he did
- 34:53Speaker 2: on Saturday, he went to Andrews Air Force Base or
- 34:58Speaker 2: whatever they call it now, Joint Basing Andrews, which clumsy name,
- 35:02Speaker 2: but Andrews Air Force Base for years had the best
- 35:06Speaker 2: golf courses in the whole federal government system. Believe it
- 35:11Speaker 2: or not, Andrews Air Force Base. It's twenty miles from
- 35:13Speaker 2: the White House. It's in Maryland. Has always had this
- 35:18Speaker 2: nickname the President's Golf Course, because this facility has two
- 35:22Speaker 2: eighteen whole championship golf courses, the East and the South courses,
- 35:28Speaker 2: each designed as a par seventy two layout, and apparently
- 35:34Speaker 2: it's gotten run down. Like everything in the federal government,
- 35:37Speaker 2: it hasn't been kept up to speed. So the President
- 35:41Speaker 2: is going to have Jack Nicholas, the great golfer, the legend,
- 35:45Speaker 2: but Jack Nicholas runs a company that builds absolute, incredible,
- 35:49Speaker 2: state of the art golf courses. Is going to have
- 35:51Speaker 2: Nicholas and his company redo these golf courses so they'll
- 35:55Speaker 2: be as fine as any golf courses in America. Saturday,
- 35:59Speaker 2: during the he went out to Andrews, had Jack Nicholson
- 36:02Speaker 2: meet him there, and they walked the course and figured
- 36:05Speaker 2: it out what they're going to do. Remember, Trump has
- 36:07Speaker 2: also built dozens and dozens and dozens of world championship
- 36:11Speaker 2: golf courses all over the world. Knows exactly what he's doing.
- 36:14Speaker 2: So these two experts, you know, you're really lucky to
- 36:17Speaker 2: have this guy in the White House. You imagine Obama
- 36:19Speaker 2: trying to rebuild a golf course. Can you imagine Joe
- 36:22Speaker 2: Biden trying to build anything. So you got these two
- 36:24Speaker 2: experts at building golf courses looking this thing over. Trump's
- 36:27Speaker 2: an absolute expert at building ballrooms construction. He's been redoing
- 36:32Speaker 2: bit by bit by bit parts of the White House.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Oh not just the ballroom, but there's a thing called
- 36:38Speaker 2: the Palm Court. When you come in to see the
- 36:41Speaker 2: President foreign leaders, and you go through that door. The
- 36:44Speaker 2: first area you're in, it's a big lobby area. It's
- 36:46Speaker 2: called the Palm Court, was just so old and decrepit.
- 36:51Speaker 2: President has rebuilt that completely. It had like a linoleum floor.
- 36:55Speaker 2: He put in the finest marble, and he fixed the
- 36:57Speaker 2: whole thing up, paying for most of it himself or
- 37:00Speaker 2: with private donations. He's redone the residence, he's redone the
- 37:07Speaker 2: Oval Office. Obviously, some say overdone the Oval Office. But
- 37:12Speaker 2: and you know, when you're in the Oval Office, that
- 37:15Speaker 2: big Oval office, there's a doorway on the side. If
- 37:18Speaker 2: you go through that door, there's a hallway that goes
- 37:20Speaker 2: to the real office. What's something called the real President's office.
- 37:24Speaker 2: That little hallway goes down to a few rooms. One's
- 37:26Speaker 2: a private bathroom, one's a little den, one's a little
- 37:31Speaker 2: dining room, one's a little office, and that's where many
- 37:34Speaker 2: presidents would really work. Nixon didn't like the big oval office,
- 37:37Speaker 2: so he'd go to a little office work out of there.
- 37:41Speaker 2: President turned it into kind of a TV room, and
- 37:43Speaker 2: he turned one room. He gets a lot of flak
- 37:46Speaker 2: for this. You'll see a lot of articles in the
- 37:47Speaker 2: left wing fake news, all the left wing sites. He
- 37:51Speaker 2: turned it into a gift shop. Why it's so tacky.
- 37:54Speaker 2: It's a gift shop. And if you look at the pictures,
- 37:56Speaker 2: it's got shelves of gifts, Trump hats of all kinds,
- 38:00Speaker 2: Trump matchbooks, trump cufflinks, trump watches, trump pens. And they
- 38:06Speaker 2: make it sound like this is the cheesiest thing any
- 38:09Speaker 2: president has ever done. What is he thinking? A gift shop?
- 38:13Speaker 2: What an ego? What a None of these articles point
- 38:17Speaker 2: out that every president did exactly the same thing, but
- 38:21Speaker 2: not on such a good scale. If you went to
- 38:24Speaker 2: see President Bush, if you went to see President Clinton,
- 38:27Speaker 2: if you went to visit any president, they would always
- 38:30Speaker 2: at the end walk you over to that thing where
- 38:33Speaker 2: they would give you gifts. There was always presidential cuff links,
- 38:37Speaker 2: presidential pen, oval office, match books, I mean, I got
- 38:42Speaker 2: a big collection of this stuff. They'd give you this.
- 38:44Speaker 2: It was mostly the cuff links. That was the big thing,
- 38:46Speaker 2: that the cuff links at the presidential seal. For a
- 38:50Speaker 2: million years, that was the main gift. But it's now
- 38:53Speaker 2: twenty twenty five and nobody wears cuff links anymore. You
- 38:57Speaker 2: never see French cuffs anywhere anymore. So why would you
- 38:59Speaker 2: give cuss Nobody can use them anymore. So that's why
- 39:02Speaker 2: Trump has switched to hats and all that stuff. You know,
- 39:05Speaker 2: they still have the presidential couplings, although I've never seen
- 39:08Speaker 2: him give anybody. And so pens are good, even a pen,
- 39:11Speaker 2: it's kind of out. Most people don't use pens that
- 39:13Speaker 2: much anymore. So he didn't go to Marlago this week
- 39:18Speaker 2: and stayed in Washington. They were working on the Ukraine
- 39:21Speaker 2: deal throughout the weekend. Now, the problem with this Ukraine
- 39:24Speaker 2: twenty eight point piece plan, whatever it is, it favors
- 39:28Speaker 2: Russia completely. It's very bad for Ukraine. But this is
- 39:32Speaker 2: round one. This is how Trump does it. You put
- 39:35Speaker 2: out a plan that's way too far in this direction,
- 39:38Speaker 2: and then you make the other side negotiate back. So
- 39:40Speaker 2: he knows what he's doing. There's a deadline Thanksgiving Day.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Marco Rubio was asked about that.
- 39:46Speaker 13: The deadline is, you want to get this done as
- 39:47Speaker 13: soon as possible. Obviously, you know, we'd love it to
- 39:49Speaker 13: be Thursday. We'd love to be Ultimately, the important point
- 39:52Speaker 13: today is that we have made substantial progress. We've really
- 39:55Speaker 13: moved forward. So I feel very optimistic that we're going
- 39:58Speaker 13: to get there in a very reasonable period of time,
- 40:00Speaker 13: very soon.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Okay, but the deal is so pro Russian. They think
- 40:03Speaker 2: Russia wrote it.
- 40:03Speaker 13: No matter what we came up with today. Obviously we
- 40:05Speaker 13: now have to take what we come up with. If
- 40:07Speaker 13: we can reach that agreement with the Ukrainian side to
- 40:09Speaker 13: the Russian side, that's another part of this equation. They
- 40:13Speaker 13: have to agree to it.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Yeah, so whatever you see in the agreement, it's not
- 40:16Speaker 2: going to be the agreement. This is just round one.
- 40:18Speaker 13: I think this is a very very meaningful I would say,
- 40:22Speaker 13: probably best meeting and day we've had so far in
- 40:24Speaker 13: this entire process, going back to when we first came
- 40:27Speaker 13: into office in January.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Yeah, so apparently they're talking, they're making progress, they're getting
- 40:32Speaker 2: there in this deal. And again it's round what like
- 40:36Speaker 2: the greatest movie you've ever seen that you love, what
- 40:39Speaker 2: a brilliant script. If you went and looked at the
- 40:41Speaker 2: first draft of the first round of the script, it
- 40:44Speaker 2: looked terrible. So it gets rewritten, and rewritten and rewritten.
- 40:47Speaker 2: That'll total happen until they get approval.
- 40:49Speaker 13: It's ultimately have to be signed off by our presidents,
- 40:51Speaker 13: although I feel very comfortable about that happening given the
- 40:55Speaker 13: progress we've made. And then obviously there's the Russian side
- 40:57Speaker 13: of the equation. But again we think we have some
- 41:00Speaker 13: pretty substantial insights over the last nine months into some
- 41:03Speaker 13: of the things that are really important to them.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, remember they did the Gaza peace deal. That
- 41:07Speaker 2: took a lot of rounds, but they learned a lot
- 41:09Speaker 2: from that that they've applied here to this. The speaking
- 41:13Speaker 2: of Gaza, the president has had all the hostages he
- 41:17Speaker 2: can visit the White House and now a number of
- 41:21Speaker 2: these hostages telling horror stories about torture. You know, well,
- 41:26Speaker 2: the crazy left out there protesting Israel, the absolute horrible
- 41:33Speaker 2: villains in this where the Hamas idiots with it wasn't
- 41:38Speaker 2: just torture, many of them telling stories of sexual abuse,
- 41:41Speaker 2: men being abused by men sexually. It's just the most
- 41:45Speaker 2: ugly stuff imaginable. Now you're probably saying that, yeah, I
- 41:48Speaker 2: didn't know that. Well, it's because obviously the media looks
- 41:52Speaker 2: the other way on it. They make it look like
- 41:53Speaker 2: Israel's the bad guy here when Hamas has been the
- 41:57Speaker 2: most awful thing on earth that ever, everything they've done
- 42:00Speaker 2: and talking about war crimes, the worst stuff in the world,
- 42:04Speaker 2: and of course the media totally ignoring it. This story
- 42:07Speaker 2: about the sexual abuse of these prisoners. Go back, look
- 42:10Speaker 2: at all the Sunday shows. See if you see a
- 42:12Speaker 2: word about this there the hostage is telling these stories.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Not a word on these Sunday shows, but they'll do
- 42:18Speaker 2: a half hour on Marjorie Taylor Green. So I don't
- 42:21Speaker 2: know why I still I don't know why I still
- 42:23Speaker 2: watch these Sunday shows. They are so corrupt and so
- 42:27Speaker 2: fake and so awful. Hey, here in New York, you
- 42:31Speaker 2: got a governor's race coming up next year. You got
- 42:34Speaker 2: Elis Stephonic who look like a shoe in for the
- 42:37Speaker 2: nomination the candidate. But then Bruce Blakeman jumps in. Now
- 42:42Speaker 2: Blakeman is the finest county executive in America, And what
- 42:46Speaker 2: is a county executive? Well, it's like a governor. He's
- 42:49Speaker 2: the governor of Nassau County and he's done a brilliant job.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Elise Stephonic lover her. She's brilliant, she's great, But she's
- 42:56Speaker 2: a legislator. Does she have any management experience? Because you're
- 43:01Speaker 2: a great legislator, does that necessarily mean you'd be a
- 43:03Speaker 2: great governor.
- 43:04Speaker 14: I don't know.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Kathy Hochel came out of the legislator legislator legislate later
- 43:12Speaker 2: who it was Cuomo that picked her as a legislator,
- 43:15Speaker 2: picked her to be the lieutenant governor. Now what you
- 43:18Speaker 2: usually do if you're a governor, you pick somebody who's
- 43:20Speaker 2: not so great so you don't get shown up. And
- 43:24Speaker 2: then he picked her, and of course she was just
- 43:27Speaker 2: awful and we got stuck with her as governor. You
- 43:30Speaker 2: can blame Cuomo for picking her, but if you say
- 43:32Speaker 2: that to him, he'll say, yeah, but you guys re
- 43:34Speaker 2: elected her. Well, he's got a point there, so you'll
- 43:40Speaker 2: have a legislator versus a former legislator. No, if Blakeman
- 43:44Speaker 2: jumps in, he's the only guy with any management experience.
- 43:47Speaker 2: A great governor himself, and you know, Stephanic is very smart.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Number one in her class at Harvard and all that.
- 43:56Speaker 2: But let's be honest, Blakeman is as smart as anybody,
- 43:59Speaker 2: so he's gonna be her equal, if not better, on
- 44:03Speaker 2: that score. Now, Stephanic is stronger upstate. She's from upstate.
- 44:07Speaker 2: She's an upstate type. Blakeman is a more sophisticated, downstate
- 44:11Speaker 2: New York City sort of a guy. And half the
- 44:16Speaker 2: votes for governor are here in New York City. But
- 44:19Speaker 2: can Blakeman play upstate? I don't know. But he's a
- 44:22Speaker 2: very smart guy. And he went up there and did
- 44:23Speaker 2: a tour of Binghamton and all these different areas, meeting
- 44:27Speaker 2: with people, you know, going to the diner, talking to
- 44:30Speaker 2: people like a Bill Clinton kind of a tour, and
- 44:33Speaker 2: that's what you got to do. So he's weighing it
- 44:36Speaker 2: very carefully. He's a very smart guy, so he'll check
- 44:39Speaker 2: it out real carefully. He's got to make a decision
- 44:41Speaker 2: in the next couple of weeks on whether to run.
- 44:45Speaker 2: He was at the Binghamton diner last week. Now, this
- 44:50Speaker 2: could mean a primary, and a lot of people said, well,
- 44:54Speaker 2: this is not good. We don't want to have a fight.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Why should we have a prime? Well, you want a primary,
- 44:57Speaker 2: even President Trump said, you know your off having a primary.
- 45:01Speaker 2: You don't want to have a coronation of a candidate
- 45:04Speaker 2: that never works. That's not a good idea. You don't
- 45:06Speaker 2: want to Kamala Harris sort of a coronation. You want
- 45:09Speaker 2: to primary. Somebody wins and earns the nomination. That's the
- 45:14Speaker 2: best way to do it. So we'll see what happens.
- 45:18Speaker 2: We'll take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three
- 45:20Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten is the number. So I've
- 45:25Speaker 2: had two, three four Thanksgiving dinners already? Is it five?
- 45:33Speaker 2: I think we even got one down the hall here today.
- 45:36Speaker 2: You know, we have these buffets all over the place
- 45:38Speaker 2: down the hall that way, Power one O five front
- 45:41Speaker 2: of Charlemagne Studio is It's Golden Corral. Very good caterer,
- 45:46Speaker 2: and they do these beautiful Thanksgiving dinners and turkey and
- 45:50Speaker 2: ham and stuffing and sweet potatoes in every kind of
- 45:53Speaker 2: pumpkin pipe pee can I mean, the longest, most elaborate
- 45:56Speaker 2: Thanksgiving buffet. This is the fourth time they've been here
- 46:00Speaker 2: in the last ten days. So I've had four of
- 46:04Speaker 2: these Thanksgiving dinners. I gotta be honest. Thursday, I don't
- 46:08Speaker 2: think I can eat any more. Turkey. I don't want
- 46:09Speaker 2: to see anymore Cranver. I've had enough. Hey, by the way,
- 46:12Speaker 2: there's a buffet down the other end of the hall
- 46:14Speaker 2: with it's delicious. What a food these scones? Well, it's delicious,
- 46:19Speaker 2: but I didn't Normally the restaurant has a big sign
- 46:21Speaker 2: or something, but I didn't see. I mean, I said,
- 46:25Speaker 2: it's right in front of light f M. I said,
- 46:27Speaker 2: who did the buffet? It's phenomenon? He said, oh, Luftanza Airlines.
- 46:32Speaker 2: I'm meeting airline food here. But it was great, So
- 46:35Speaker 2: I guess it's just American airlines US airlines that have
- 46:39Speaker 2: bad food. This Leftan's a pretty good food there. Anyway,
- 46:42Speaker 2: we'll take some calls. We'll get to Trump de arrangement syndrome.
- 46:44Speaker 2: We got an expert to explain it to us. But
- 46:46Speaker 2: we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three to two
- 46:49Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 46:52Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten. It's the Mark Simone
- 46:57Speaker 2: show on seventen. Well, let's take some calls. Eight hundred
- 47:03Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten is the number, and
- 47:07Speaker 2: let's go to Stuart, South Carolina. Stuart, how you doing.
- 47:11Speaker 9: Hey, Mark?
- 47:11Speaker 5: How you do.
- 47:12Speaker 9: I just heard the Meli massacre mentioned a couple times
- 47:15Speaker 9: by Vincent on Friday. I just want to set the
- 47:17Speaker 9: record straight. It happened in nineteen sixty eight, Lieutenant Cally. Yeah, yeah,
- 47:23Speaker 9: massacreing in Meli. Later on, he was exonerated for that,
- 47:28Speaker 9: and nobody mentions that. And I just want to add
- 47:30Speaker 9: that in. I remember when it happened Verber Okay, but I.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Said it was illegal. But it is illegal. I'm massacre civilians,
- 47:37Speaker 2: isn't it.
- 47:38Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, you have to go through the case and
- 47:40Speaker 9: everything else. But like I said, he was eventually exonerated.
- 47:43Speaker 9: And the fact that these Democrats are telling the military
- 47:46Speaker 9: men and women they have no dog in this fat fight.
- 47:49Speaker 9: If soldiers end up saying I'm not going to obey
- 47:52Speaker 9: this law, you know, or this order because I think
- 47:55Speaker 9: that it's illegal, they're going to get tried under the USC,
- 48:00Speaker 9: the us UCMJ, and probably put in prison in Levenworth.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:04Speaker 9: I mean, what they're telling these people is unconscionable.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Well, but it was pretty smart of them. It was
- 48:10Speaker 2: a you know, this is the world of trolling people. Now,
- 48:13Speaker 2: they were trolling Trump. He overreacted a little. I mean,
- 48:17Speaker 2: he's still right, he's absolutely right. I mean they're talking
- 48:19Speaker 2: about sedition.
- 48:20Speaker 9: But yeah, and that's absolutely right, sedition. I live right
- 48:24Speaker 9: near Fort Gordon in Augusta, and there are a lot
- 48:27Speaker 9: of military people here on Vice President of Vietnam Veterans
- 48:30Speaker 9: of America, North Augusta.
- 48:31Speaker 5: And people are outraged.
- 48:32Speaker 9: Yeah, absolutely outraged.
- 48:34Speaker 2: All right, good call, Stuart, thanks for calling. Let's go
- 48:37Speaker 2: to Steve in Manhattan. Steve, how you doing.
- 48:41Speaker 11: Don't blame me. I voted for Pap Buchanan.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Now there's nobody under ninety who knows who you're talking about.
- 48:47Speaker 2: But okay, he was a great guy, Pat Buchanan. He
- 48:50Speaker 2: was a regular guest on this show. I love the guy,
- 48:52Speaker 2: but I think he's been dead twenty years and he
- 48:55Speaker 2: ran for president like thirty forty years ago or something.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Those of you that don't know who that is. Let's
- 49:00Speaker 2: go to Mike and Florida. Mike, how you doing, Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 49:06Speaker 5: I have a quick story that kind of illustrates how
- 49:08Speaker 5: the president is in person. I a number of years
- 49:12Speaker 5: ago worked on an infomercial and he was the guest,
- 49:15Speaker 5: and I had met him previously a couple of times,
- 49:18Speaker 5: but on another show, and so the producer comes down
- 49:22Speaker 5: and just the usual spiel that produces. Do don't look
- 49:24Speaker 5: at him, don't talk to him. Okay, So of course
- 49:27Speaker 5: I'm the stage manager. So I go to the back
- 49:29Speaker 5: of the dressing room and in the outer room there's
- 49:33Speaker 5: a big burly security guard and he stops me. And
- 49:36Speaker 5: the President Trump is in the other room tying his tie.
- 49:40Speaker 5: So the god goes, what you need, I go on
- 49:42Speaker 5: the stage. My mic on the stage manager. I just
- 49:44Speaker 5: wanted to show mister Trump his walkout. And Trump stops
- 49:48Speaker 5: what he's doing, looks, and he goes. He walks out
- 49:51Speaker 5: and he goes to the security guard. You listen to
- 49:55Speaker 5: this guy pointing to me. He knows what he's talking about.
- 49:58Speaker 5: I said, Hi, Hi, miss, nice to meet you again.
- 50:00Speaker 9: I just want to show you.
- 50:01Speaker 5: Yes, he puts his guess, Mike puts his arm on
- 50:03Speaker 5: my shoulder. I walk him down the hallway. He loves me,
- 50:09Speaker 5: and this illustrates who he is. He wasn't insincere, he
- 50:12Speaker 5: wasn't blowing smoke. He's genuinely like that.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, no, he's When he goes into a
- 50:19Speaker 2: building or anywhere, he always like to say hello to
- 50:21Speaker 2: the doorman first. If he comes into a radio station.
- 50:24Speaker 2: He's the only guest I've ever seen go into the
- 50:26Speaker 2: control room say hello to everybody in there. That's the
- 50:29Speaker 2: way he is.
- 50:29Speaker 5: That's a very very gregarious guy. And he has love
- 50:33Speaker 5: in his heart and he's not you know, if he
- 50:35Speaker 5: has to fight, he will. You look, he's fought the
- 50:38Speaker 5: toughest guys in New York, you know, lobsters and bad
- 50:41Speaker 5: landlords and unions and politicians. So you know, sometimes you
- 50:45Speaker 5: have to you know, sometimes you get more, you know,
- 50:48Speaker 5: flies for honey, but sometimes you kick him in the butto.
- 50:52Speaker 10: We can do both.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Yeah, good call Mike, Thanks for calling. Yet, you know,
- 50:55Speaker 2: if you talk, there's people who worked in the White
- 50:57Speaker 2: House for like thirty years, forty years. They're just stab
- 51:00Speaker 2: if they're there through every president, and a bunch of
- 51:03Speaker 2: them have told me the only president who ever comes
- 51:06Speaker 2: into the kitchen to talk to them, you know, the
- 51:08Speaker 2: people who work in the kitchen is Trump. He'll walk
- 51:11Speaker 2: in every you know, every few days, says, how you doing,
- 51:13Speaker 2: what's going on? And here you guys need anything. He'll
- 51:16Speaker 2: walk around the grounds, talk to the gardeners everything, how
- 51:18Speaker 2: you doing, you need anything? Got everything you need? You
- 51:21Speaker 2: have everything? And they've been there for decades. They've never
- 51:24Speaker 2: seen another president do that.
- 51:26Speaker 10: Does that?
- 51:26Speaker 2: All you know? I always noticed when he comes to
- 51:30Speaker 2: the big donors, throwing a big fundraiser in the apartment
- 51:33Speaker 2: on Park Avenue or Fifth Avenue. Whenever the candidate walks in,
- 51:37Speaker 2: the big, big candidate. I don't want to measure a
- 51:39Speaker 2: names mint round me, But whenever the big candidate walks in,
- 51:44Speaker 2: it's always the same thing. The wife will come over first,
- 51:47Speaker 2: and he'll like, swap the wife out of the way,
- 51:49Speaker 2: Get out of the way. Where's the husband? Where's the
- 51:50Speaker 2: guy right in the check? I want to talk to him,
- 51:52Speaker 2: and all he wants to do is talk to the
- 51:53Speaker 2: big donor. But I always watch when Trump walks in.
- 51:56Speaker 2: He always ignores these people. He always wants to talk
- 51:58Speaker 2: to the waiters first, the bar tender first, the woman
- 52:01Speaker 2: checking the coach. He'll always talk to her first. I'll
- 52:03Speaker 2: make the donor's weight. He's always been that way. Let's
- 52:06Speaker 2: go to David in Brooklyn, David, how you doing?
- 52:11Speaker 10: Yep?
- 52:11Speaker 2: We lost him. Let's go to uh Ray in the
- 52:14Speaker 2: story Ray, how you.
- 52:15Speaker 14: Doing all right? Mark's mom?
- 52:18Speaker 2: Let me check, yes it is Listen.
- 52:22Speaker 14: I worked on the precinct in the on seventy sixty
- 52:28Speaker 14: seventh Street.
- 52:29Speaker 11: There you are.
- 52:32Speaker 14: I rebuilt that.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Whole precinct way you were in a copy.
- 52:36Speaker 14: No, no, I did construction there.
- 52:39Speaker 2: Oh okay, because with your voice, it wouldn't work if
- 52:41Speaker 2: you went stop police. It doesn't sound right.
- 52:45Speaker 14: I know, I got it. I got a crazy voice.
- 52:48Speaker 2: No, you got a nice voice. Good voice, very peppy,
- 52:50Speaker 2: very lively sound.
- 52:52Speaker 14: I'm eighty I'm eighty six years old.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Perfect right now, target demo.
- 52:57Speaker 14: I worked on the precinct there and we rebuilt it.
- 53:01Speaker 14: And that whole area across the street was the Russian
- 53:09Speaker 14: what do you call residency, and they got cameras all
- 53:13Speaker 14: over that precinct, all over that area.
- 53:16Speaker 2: All right, I don't know what the hell you're talking about,
- 53:18Speaker 2: but you sound happy about it. What do you mean
- 53:20Speaker 2: you built that?
- 53:24Speaker 14: We did the the precinct there, the old precinct, We
- 53:29Speaker 14: rebuilt it where eighty sixty sixty seventh Street. Oh, the
- 53:35Speaker 14: nineteenth preesc yeah, the nineteenth the firehouse.
- 53:39Speaker 2: You got to be honest that that did in that
- 53:41Speaker 2: nineteenth precinct kind of run down. Yeah, you built that.
- 53:45Speaker 2: It's not exactly an architectural digest.
- 53:47Speaker 14: That place I know it's an eighteen eighty six facades.
- 53:52Speaker 2: You're talking like it's the taiz Ma Hall. It's not
- 53:54Speaker 2: the best look in it was the.
- 53:59Speaker 14: Inside of it is.
- 54:00Speaker 2: I've seen the inside. It's okay.
- 54:02Speaker 5: I mean it's functional, but oh yeah, yeah, I just
- 54:06Speaker 5: want to let you know about that.
- 54:07Speaker 2: But you want to work as a decorator. I wouldn't
- 54:10Speaker 2: go around showing that to anybody.
- 54:13Speaker 14: There's also a spy room in that precinct which they
- 54:18Speaker 14: have cameras looking at the Russian consulate right across the street.
- 54:23Speaker 2: Yeah, well assume they do. Yeah, all right, Ray, good call.
- 54:27Speaker 2: You sound like a great guy. Thanks for calling. Hey
- 54:29Speaker 2: when we come back. One of the great psychiatrists and
- 54:31Speaker 2: he's actually a great life coach. Now, but doctor Keith Ablow,
- 54:35Speaker 2: best selling author, you've seen him all over television. He
- 54:38Speaker 2: has some real insight into Trump derangement syndrome. What is
- 54:42Speaker 2: it really all about? Well, this is fascinating. We'll get
- 54:45Speaker 2: to this next. On seven to ten, wo R gets.
- 54:49Speaker 1: In access to Mark by setting a freeset in the
- 54:52Speaker 1: iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 54:56Speaker 2: Now back to the Mark Simone show on WOR Well,
- 55:00Speaker 2: you know this Trump derangement syndrome. It's a very serious thing,
- 55:05Speaker 2: and there was a psychiatrist wrote an op ed piece
- 55:08Speaker 2: of Wall Street Journal saying it's a serious disease. So
- 55:13Speaker 2: Miranda Divine had doctor Keith Ablow on her big, Great
- 55:17Speaker 2: podcast and he really had some insight into Trump derangement syndrome.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Doctor Keith Ablow, who's also a great life coach, best
- 55:24Speaker 2: selling author. Follow him on Twitter to get his all
- 55:28Speaker 2: of his books, and of course you see him all
- 55:31Speaker 2: over television, doctor Keith Ablow.
- 55:33Speaker 1: How you doing, I'm doing, Walmart, how are you?
- 55:36Speaker 2: I'm good. I'm good. So yeah, Miranda Divine was on
- 55:40Speaker 2: the show. She was telling us about I mean, you experts.
- 55:44Speaker 2: You know, we think Trump derangement syndrome's kind of a
- 55:46Speaker 2: funny name, but you found it. It's a real mental disorder,
- 55:50Speaker 2: isn't it.
- 55:52Speaker 1: Well listen, you know this is a common, common thing
- 55:56Speaker 1: that's afflicting people. We're not gonna find it in a
- 55:59Speaker 1: diagnosmustic manual, but I'll tell you people who object to
- 56:05Speaker 1: autonomy and are not grounded in the self. You know,
- 56:10Speaker 1: the self's a miracle. It's connected to God. It's where
- 56:13Speaker 1: we operate most powerfully. From it's the center of human beings.
- 56:18Speaker 1: If that is, for whatever reason, really frightening to you,
- 56:22Speaker 1: then Donald Trump's going to be really frightening to you,
- 56:25Speaker 1: and you're subject to Trump's arrangement syndrome.
- 56:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Now, the politics, you know, they hated Bush, they hated Cheney,
- 56:33Speaker 2: they hated Nixon. But with Trump it sets them off.
- 56:37Speaker 2: He sets them off in a way I've never seen anybody.
- 56:40Speaker 2: What is it in his personality that makes them crazy?
- 56:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you're absolutely right. He is number one.
- 56:49Speaker 1: There's no confusion whatsoever about his gender. He's hyper male,
- 56:56Speaker 1: and this offends some people. They don't even know that
- 56:59Speaker 1: offense necessarily, but they're unconsciously deeply offended. That he has
- 57:06Speaker 1: masculinity in every mannerism, right, So that's one one aspect
- 57:11Speaker 1: of it, for sure. Another is, I'm sorry, you're.
- 57:16Speaker 2: Right, it's like nineteen fifties, really tough masculinity. We haven't
- 57:20Speaker 2: seen that in a president in years. So that's a
- 57:23Speaker 2: good point. What's the other one.
- 57:25Speaker 1: It's like John Wayne is holding you know, office, and
- 57:29Speaker 1: people don't know what to do about it. The other
- 57:32Speaker 1: thing is that he is not in any way ambivalent
- 57:38Speaker 1: about things. He expresses things very definitively if you waffle,
- 57:43Speaker 1: if you want to play both sides in the middle,
- 57:47Speaker 1: then this is going to make you very nervous, and
- 57:50Speaker 1: you're going to take it out on Donald Trump because
- 57:54Speaker 1: he adds up to numbers, and then in a very
- 57:57Speaker 1: direct way, he'll say, look, here's that's how it looks arithmetically.
- 58:02Speaker 1: You don't have the leverage you think you do. I
- 58:05Speaker 1: just did all of the variable analysis. Here's your choices.
- 58:10Speaker 11: Now.
- 58:11Speaker 1: That would appeal to people who love logic and who
- 58:15Speaker 1: really like honesty, but it doesn't appeal to people who
- 58:19Speaker 1: want nothing to have reality. And right now Donald Trump
- 58:25Speaker 1: is on the side of reality, truth, honesty, and people
- 58:29Speaker 1: who would like to be an avatar of themselves, to
- 58:34Speaker 1: be anything to anyone, and to assert that countries don't
- 58:39Speaker 1: need borders. I mean, listen, almost half the electric or
- 58:43Speaker 1: whatever thinks maybe countries don't have to have borders. That's
- 58:47Speaker 1: like delusional, and Donald Trump in that way will tell you, well,
- 58:51Speaker 1: that's craziness. They will therefore hate him, fear him, and
- 58:56Speaker 1: be subject to Trump derangement syndrome.
- 59:00Speaker 2: If Donald Trump came to you and said, show me
- 59:02Speaker 2: what to do to be more likable, would you show
- 59:04Speaker 2: him or would you say, hey, just be yourself.
- 59:08Speaker 1: I would say you've got to be yourself. In a
- 59:10Speaker 1: lot of ways. The antidote to Trump derangement syndrome is
- 59:14Speaker 1: more exposure to truth and to trumpisms. However, I would say, listen,
- 59:21Speaker 1: you might throw in even additional humor to tell people
- 59:26Speaker 1: it's okay, as he's done recently. He said, listen, you
- 59:29Speaker 1: can you can call me a fascist if you want
- 59:31Speaker 1: to have been called worse. So if he's able to
- 59:35Speaker 1: tell people, listen, here's what's happening.
- 59:39Speaker 5: I know.
- 59:40Speaker 1: I know that, the fact that I'm quite definitive, the
- 59:43Speaker 1: fact that you know, people call me, you know, hyper meal.
- 59:46Speaker 5: I know this offense some people.
- 59:48Speaker 1: It's okay, We're going to get there together. I suppose
- 59:51Speaker 1: you could do that in Olive Branch, but really I
- 59:53Speaker 1: wouldn't change Donald Trump, and I would advise him keep going. Man,
- 59:58Speaker 1: this is what we need all.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Right now, doctor Keith Ablo. People are going to Thanksgiving dinner.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: They're going to probably get in a fight with relatives
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: that have Trump to arrangement syndrome. What can they do
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: to deal with it? Or should they just humor them?
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: What should they do?
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Just humor them? One of the things about Trump to
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: arrangement syndrome is it's very rigid. You know, if people
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: don't come to my office, they may not get over it, right.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: So I would say, you sidestep it, you smile, You
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: ask them more questions, let them talk, and don't interact.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Don't insert your own opinions, because you know what, you're
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: not going to convert anybody at Thanksgiving and what you
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: want is peace, and so you can't. In some ways
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: you just can't engage. So you dodge, you weave, You
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: talk about other subjects. If people insist on talking about that,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: ask them more questions about what they think, rather than,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: you know, boldly saying you're so completely up you're delusional.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: That's not going to work with the stuffing.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Yeah, did you see this? Psychiatrist wrote the op ed
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: for the Wall Street Journal last week about Trump arrangement syndrome.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: It's an actual mental disorder, and he seemed to take
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: it very very seriously on the chart of mental disoryers.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw that, and listen, I think what it
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: is is, it's a subset. It's basically that you know,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: those who want to be cared for as though they
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: have a parent in the state, Those who don't really
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: want to assert their individual and individuality and autonomy and
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: who would like there to be no reality.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: About the world.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: They are that group that are subject to Trump derangement
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: syndrome and right, and so the bottom line is is
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: it a clinical condition. We wouldn't medicate it. We wouldn't
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: you know, and I wouldn't coach anyone out of it
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: without a lot of time in my office. But the
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: bottom line is that people should reflect who are subject
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: to that. Is it possible? But because I'm not feeling
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: empowered myself that looking at someone that powerful and certain
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: is deeply offensive to me.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Huh. Now, what else Miranda said has to do with
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: daddy issues? Is is that true?
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Well, that masculinity quotient is so high in Trump that
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: if you have ambivalence about that role and your family
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: that you know, if you have deep questions about who
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: your father was or what you thought of it, or
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: your own masculinity, you may well be more vulnerable Trump
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: arrangement syndrome. Because here's a big man eating guy who
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: is nonetheless a healthy man, a strapping fellow, even you know,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: past his sixties, And that too causes people consternation. They're like,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: how can he not be eating carrots and other vegetables
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: to show us how healthy that is and still be pulling,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: you know, near all nighters. So it deeply, deeply concerns
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: people who want to feel somewhat vulnerable and therefore as
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: though the state should take care of them, and who
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: might vote for, you know, government officials who say, don't worry,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: we'll control everything. You don't need to have any power.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Donald Trump says, no, No, you should have autonomy. Start being yourself,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: be grounded as an individual, make your own choices. These
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: things cause people a lot of anxiety.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: It's also the key to a good LFE. Well, hey,
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: great stuff. We're out of time. Hey, next time I
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: gotta ask you. You treated Hunter Biden for a while.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Uh I think you might need was reported in the news.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Yes, I think you might need some more sessions. Yeah,
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: you're made.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: Not a complete the same address.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: Well, great stuff, doctor Keith Ablow. You can get his
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: books on Amazon, and if people want to contact you,
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: what's the best way.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Best way is info at Keithablow dot com or just
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: visit Keithablow dot com and there's a link you can.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: Get right to me. Check out his website Keithablow dot com,
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Doctor Keithablow, great stuff, Thanks for being with us, Thanks Mark,
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: all right, take care. Interesting stuff. So now remember Thanksgiving dinner.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: Don't get into a big fight with everybody. Just nod
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: and yes them to death and change the subject. Hey,
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: don't forget Buck and Clay at noon today with an
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: excellent show. And then you got the most listened to
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: radio show in America. Sean Hannity at three, Jesse Kelly
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: at six, and Jimmy Fayla what a great show every
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: night at nine. Here on seven to ten wo R.
- 1:05:07Speaker 11: A Mark Simon show, delivering the news before it is
- 1:05:12Speaker 11: on seven ten wry.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: So we're just about out of time. Well, we are
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: happy to clear up things for you. Marjorie Taylor Green.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: Is not that they had nothing to do with Donald Trump.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: They keeps a rift, a terrible breakup of no relationship
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: at all. The other headlining split in the mag of
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: Marjorie Taylor Green was some fringe character who on the
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: only people have paid any attention to her, with a
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: fake news always covering her because she'd say something silly.
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: So she's left politics, She says, she's gonna run in
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: twenty twenty eight thinking it over. Ah, you just say
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: that makes you look important that way. Everybody still talks
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: to you because they think you might be running anyway.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: We're out of time. Don't go away. Buck and Clay
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: are next. I'll be back tomorrow ten noon, and I
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: hope you can join me. Then I'll talk to you
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: then tomorrow on seven ten wo
