**SHOCKING** Silver Sold Out at COSTCO... (Gold Price Too!) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:00
Are silver and gold preparing for take off like Santa with his
0:05
sleigh on Christmas Eve evening? Are silver and gold just
0:10
preparing to leave the cold and frigid confines of the North
0:15
Pole? Head South for warmer weather
0:18
and much, much higher prices? Guys, we got some crazy news
0:23
this week from our friends at Costco regarding silver.
0:27
We already knew what was going on with gold, but now we've got
0:31
news about silver that I think just adds fuel to a fire that is
0:36
just now starting to burn. But let's talk about gold first.
0:41
Let's get into some big interesting news about the gold
0:44
market. Did you know that that Friday
0:49
the closing price of gold? Now when we talk about gold, you
0:53
know, right my fellow elves or whatever you people are out
0:57
there. I can't believe I'm dressed up
0:58
like Santa Gloss. Anyway, when we talk about gold,
1:02
we're talking about Santa's real favorite, which is silver,
1:05
right? Silver Bells.
1:07
But on Friday, the gold price closed at its highest ever for a
1:12
Friday. That's according to data that I
1:14
read. Prove me wrong and it's the 5th
1:18
Friday close above $2000 in History of the World, right?
1:25
Since Santa's been delivering presents, I won't make any more
1:28
Santa references. We're going to be all strictly
1:30
business now here in the basement on the Christmas Eve
1:33
Eve Santa Claus Special Special. But Friday when gold closed
1:38
above $2000, that was only the 5th, 5th time in history that it
1:44
had ever done that. We are moving here.
1:47
Here's a interesting point someone brought up just about
1:51
6-7 weeks ago. Everybody was ready to give up.
1:55
Then again, a couple of weeks ago and I'll raise my hand.
1:58
I was very discouraged after we had that blast off into all new
2:03
all time high and then dropped by $150.00.
2:07
When everybody's giving up, that's the time to believe in a
2:12
Christmas miracle. But is it really a miracle that
2:16
we get true price discovery for gold and silver?
2:20
I tell you, no, it's not a miracle because the fundamental
2:24
facts supporting higher silver and higher gold prices are in
2:29
place. That's coming straight to you
2:31
from Santa Claus. And when everybody wants to give
2:35
up, that's the sign of a bottom. It's like the airplane, does it
2:39
feel like to you with the precious metals, right?
2:42
Like, like our flight has, like we we were on an airplane, our
2:46
flight has been delayed. We were sitting on the runway
2:49
for the last three hours, right to us.
2:51
It was the last three years with the silver price and gold price
2:56
and now we've taxied out to the runway and the and the pilot.
3:00
You know, when you're on an airplane and they just put the
3:02
throttle on, you can feel yourself get pulled back in your
3:05
seat. I think we're getting pulled
3:07
back into our seat right now and that the silver and gold price
3:12
and market are going to surprise us in 2024 because you've all
3:17
been good boys and girls, right, my friend.
3:20
So we know, we know Costco sold $100 million worth of gold in
3:27
the last three months, essentially $100 million.
3:31
That means annualized $400 million.
3:35
But but we know the mainstream media is picking up on that
3:39
story in a big, big way. We know the CEO and the CFO have
3:44
both made public statements about it.
3:46
Things are changing, but now. But now, in what can only be
3:51
characterized as a major development for the precious
3:55
metals community, Costco is selling American Silver Eagle
4:01
coins. And I know I'd like to thank
4:04
Grandpa Treasure Hunt. He was the first person who
4:06
pointed this out to me. They're selling them by the
4:09
tube? Yeah, 20 per tube.
4:12
And most recently, the price was quoted around $549.
4:16
Now why is that a big deal? What does that mean when you
4:19
hear that Costco is selling American Silver Eagles?
4:24
Well guys, that's the most popular silver coin in the
4:29
world. But more importantly the fact
4:34
that they sold out. Now I I tried to go on and check
4:37
the website before I came on here.
4:39
I'm not a member at Costco. I think we're members at Sam's
4:42
Club. I don't do the shopping anyway.
4:45
I couldn't tell if they had them back in stock or not, but they
4:48
had sold out initially, just like the gold.
4:52
OK, the CFO of Costco has been quoted many times as saying as
4:57
soon as we load gold bars and we limit them to two per person on
5:02
our website, they sell out in the same thing, at least
5:05
initially happened with these American Silver Eagles.
5:09
Now, there's something about this that we need to take a step
5:13
back and look for the forest through the trees, OK?
5:16
Because because there's a big, big deal about this that I'm not
5:22
hearing anybody else talk about. Us basement dwellers, we go a
5:26
level deeper, right? We like to see, dig around, see
5:31
if we can find, you know, put the put the puzzle pieces
5:34
together. Consider this with Costco.
5:38
People go to Costco because they trust them.
5:41
They know they're getting a good value.
5:43
It's one of the nation's largest retailers.
5:47
The people that are buying gold, the people who are buying silver
5:52
from Costco. I would bet, and I'd be curious
5:55
what you think, but I would bet that 95% of them are people
6:00
who've never bought bullion before.
6:04
These aren't people who who have bought bullying from App Max or
6:07
bought bullying from from pin backs or from SD bullying or
6:11
anywhere like that. I would imagine these are new
6:14
stackers, new people coming on. OK, And it again shows us that
6:20
that the American people, right, always the last to learn in this
6:24
regard, are starting to wake up. And the fact that these precious
6:29
metals products are selling out at Costco is nothing, nothing
6:35
but a good sign. OK, they're not returnable
6:38
people I think are interested in that.
6:40
Like what if I buy these American Silver Eagles and the
6:42
price of silver drops by $5 and it's not going to drop by $5.00,
6:47
but if it does, you can't return them 30 days later and get your
6:51
money back. Any precious metal purchases
6:54
from Costco are non refundable. But the big story embedded in
6:59
all this is that these are new people coming into the metals.
7:06
And that's what we need. The biggest impediment that we
7:11
had in 2023 to higher silver, to higher gold prices.
7:16
Do you know what it was? Do you know what the biggest
7:18
impediment was? Huh.
7:20
It was. It was investment demand,
7:25
investment demand for silver, I believe the last time, the last
7:28
latest data that I saw was down 22% in 2023.
7:33
Individual investment demand for gold was also down a bit.
7:38
So as we move into next year, and I'm hearing this from
7:44
everybody except for Joe Biden, Joe Santa Claus here, it's not
7:49
working. Joe, it's not working.
7:51
Not working. Bah, humbug.
7:54
OK, all right. But we know as we go into 2024
7:59
in the Fed cuts rates, what happens?
8:02
What is what? You listen to me.
8:03
I'm Santa Claus. What happens when the Fed cuts
8:06
rates inflation. OK, right now we have deflation
8:11
and that is dangerous. That's the D word basement
8:14
dwellers. And don't you worry, we're going
8:16
to give away this quarter pound four ounce American Silver Eagle
8:21
round in a little bit. But we have deflation right now.
8:24
And don't you worry, Santa's going to ring his bells 'cause
8:27
we got to 100 thumbs up. I didn't even have to beg you
8:30
guys. Merry Christmas Deflation.
8:34
That's right. Look at the latest Walmart TV
8:37
commercials, they're bragging about lowering prices.
8:40
Wherever I go, I go to ALDI, lower prices and we're seeing
8:44
it, gas prices, $2.00 and where how much is gas, where you live?
8:48
I'm just curious. OK, I'm going to put it in 2.70.
8:54
You don't have to use a dollar sign, but put it in the chat.
8:57
I'm curious what you guys, we are in a deflationary
9:01
environment right now and why? Because the economy.
9:04
Thank you, Jim. I know those reindeer are
9:08
expensive. Sorry, the kids.
9:10
Anyway, we are in a deflationary environment right now because
9:15
the economy is shrinking. We even talk about the potential
9:19
for the D word, right? Deflation comes first and then
9:24
depression. the Fed is going to do whatever they have to do.
9:28
This is Santa telling you this guys, to avoid deflation, right?
9:33
Right. That deflation is like, I don't
9:35
know what Santa Claus hates. I should be better prepared.
9:38
Santa Claus hates bad boys and girls, right?
9:41
And and Jerome Powell, they hate, hate, hate deflation.
9:46
So they're going to, they're going to liquidate, they're
9:48
going to print money, right? Turn on the old Burr Bunny
9:51
printer. However you want to say Unicorn
9:53
fart test, they're going to tickle the Unicorn.
9:55
They're going to be feeding the Unicorn beans like you've never
9:58
seen. And the unicorn's going to be
10:00
making paper dollars, right? That's what the dollar is.
10:03
Unicorn fart test next year. And we are primed right now.
10:08
We are prepared and set up in almost every way for big
10:14
inflation. When that big inflation hits mom
10:17
and pop Costco shopper type people, normal folk like us that
10:23
don't know all the real benefits to silver and gold just yet are
10:27
going to freak. And they're going to be looking.
10:29
They're going to be, they're going to be.
10:31
And that's what we see happening in 2024.
10:36
Even David Hunter, I I don't know if you follow him at all.
10:40
He has some pretty radical wow, thank you the amazing world of
10:44
PC. Thank you for the Super chat
10:47
from Santa Claus. David Hunter sees an absolute
10:53
run up right during the first three to six months of next
10:57
year. But then that we could have a
10:59
major crash and that could include the silver and gold
11:03
price. We're going to be keeping a
11:05
close eye on how that transpires next year, but a major, what
11:10
they call blow off top in in the equities markets and up to and
11:16
including and I forgot to ring the bell and I'm going to do
11:18
that right now up to and including silver, gold.
11:21
Hey guys. Hey, look, the most important
11:25
part of this whole basement thing is you.
11:27
So thank you for being here. Thank you for the thumbs up.
11:31
You know, don't forget, before you maximize the whole screen
11:35
when you when you first TuneIn, press the thumbs up button.
11:38
It looks like my thumb. And don't forget it's a 365 day
11:43
a year deal here. We're on every single day
11:47
together. OK, please subscribe to the
11:49
channel. We're really shooting for 31,000
11:51
subscribers. Enough of that.
11:53
This is the bell warning from old Santa Claus.
11:56
Here it comes. And just for the record my
12:05
friend Sassy Silver. Thank you Jim, and Merry
12:07
Christmas. Thank you so much.
12:11
I now know you guys know Susie. My wife owns 3 cats that I also
12:16
live with me. She owns me and the three cats.
12:19
And sometimes they put sweaters on the cats.
12:23
The girls do because they think it's fun.
12:24
Now I know what it feels like. And the cats are like, like now
12:28
I know what it feels like to be one of those cats.
12:30
So that's where we're heading in that regard.
12:34
I want to I want to read something to you about what this
12:39
might explain something. You know, Thomas Jefferson was a
12:43
very intelligent man, OK, against the big central banks,
12:48
against the Unicorn fart dust. I just want to read this and
12:51
I'll read it super fast. But it just unbelievable what he
12:56
said, what 150 years ago. He said if the debt which the
13:01
banking companies owe be a blessing to anybody, it is to
13:06
themselves who are realizing a solid interest rate of eight or
13:10
10%. Doesn't that sound familiar as
13:13
to the public? These companies have banished
13:16
all of our gold and silver medium.
13:20
This is Thomas Jefferson talking about this, which before their
13:25
institution we had without interest.
13:27
Everybody had all their gold and silver which never could have
13:31
perished in our hands. Thank you for the Super chat,
13:35
Jim. OK, Thank you.
13:37
I'm gonna stay. I'm gonna stay on my OK, which
13:41
never is, which we had without it.
13:43
OK? And Santa Claus lost his place
13:46
and would have been our salvation now in the hour of
13:51
war. Does this sound familiar?
13:54
Instead of which, they've given us 200 million of debt, which in
13:58
our case now is $34 trillion in debt.
14:04
I can't OK froth and bubble on which we are to pay them heavy
14:10
interest until it shall vanish into air.
14:13
We are warranted, then, in affirming that this parody of
14:16
the principle of a public debt being a public blessing and it's
14:21
mutation into the blessing of a private instead of public debts,
14:26
is as ridiculous as the original principle itself.
14:30
In both cases, the truth is the capital may be produced by
14:34
industry and accumulated by economy.
14:37
This is, this is great here. But jugglers jugglers only will
14:42
propose to create it by Ledger, Ledger man tricks with paper
14:48
Thomas Jefferson basically explaining back then what is
14:53
happened right now the situation that the United States finds
14:57
itself in right now, which is not good, right.
15:00
We don't want to be negative. We don't want to be what's that
15:04
word? You know the little boys, they
15:06
cried wolf. And I don't think we are.
15:08
I think that the reality is we are in for some some very, very
15:12
difficult times. Let's not forget as we go into
15:17
next year, coin shop. Chris likes to talk about this
15:19
on a somewhat regular basis. But we've got the banks that are
15:22
going to be still under big amounts of stress.
15:26
Now, they've gotten a little bit of relief because interest rates
15:28
have come down, but what about commercial real estate?
15:32
Let me just give you a quick example, a quick example of what
15:37
the banks are going to be facing next year.
15:41
Aeon Center, the third tallest tower in Los Angeles, has sold
15:47
for about $150 million. Well, that sounds great, right?
15:51
That's big money. That's the third tallest tower
15:54
in Los Angeles. But it sold for about 45% less
16:02
than the than the than its last purchase price in 2014.
16:09
OK, two big things there guys. Three big things.
16:13
This is the third tallest tower in Los Angeles.
16:17
OK. It's sold recently for 50%.
16:21
We're going to round up because that's what we do here in the
16:24
basement. We round up sold for 50% less
16:28
today than the last time it's sold.
16:31
But the last time that it's sold wasn't just three or four years
16:35
ago, it was darn near 10 years ago.
16:38
As a matter of fact, we can round that up too.
16:40
It's 10 years ago. 10 years ago, this building sold for almost
16:46
twice as much as it just recently sold fart.
16:49
That's the bank. That's the banks.
16:51
They took your money. OK, this is Santa Claus.
16:54
I don't take your money, but those banks, they took your
16:58
money. You put 100K in the bank.
17:00
You put 10K in the bank, you put $10 in the bank.
17:03
It doesn't matter how much you put in the bank.
17:05
They take your money and loan it out or make investments with it,
17:11
right? Thinking they can make more off
17:13
your money then they have to pay you in interest.
17:16
One of the things they did was loaned money to this company
17:20
that bought the third largest, tallest tower in Los Angeles
17:24
back in 2014. They did that same type thing
17:27
hundreds, thousands of times, thousands, 10s of thousands,
17:32
maybe a hundreds of thousands of time.
17:34
Now all that money they loaned out to people, right?
17:38
That was 10 years ago, OK? Now, now, all that money they
17:43
loaned out, the collateral that backs it up, the actual
17:46
buildings are worth $0.50. Sixty cents.
17:50
Who knows? I've got example.
17:52
I've given you guys examples here.
17:53
So the banks are in big trouble. The we we could see massive,
17:58
massive issues unfold here in the United States.
18:02
Let's do the giveaway. What do you guys say?
18:04
OK, hopefully you've entered. I'll do this the same way I do
18:08
all of them. Let's just look at it again
18:10
really quick. OK.
18:12
The four ounce. Look at that.
18:14
It is just beautiful. I think at night.
18:17
Can you guys see that? Isn't that beautiful?
18:21
OK, somebody's going to win this tonight.
18:24
I have a random. So there was a video that I
18:27
made. All you had to do was leave a
18:29
comment on the video. I've got this great program
18:33
called YouTube Random Comment Picker.
18:36
I'm going to show you all of it. OK, all right.
18:39
So here's the video. Well, anyway, that's their
18:48
comment picker. Bear with me here.
18:51
I'll do it like this. If you can't trust me.
18:55
Anyway, there's the video. That's not the video.
18:58
That's the live stream. Oh, shoot.
19:01
I screwed it up. Hold on, guys.
19:03
I got to find the video again. Bear with me.
19:06
Sing Christmas carols. Talk amongst yourselves.
19:09
Ho ho ho. Hold on here.
19:12
So I accidentally deleted. I need to get the URL of that
19:15
video to. This will only take a little
19:19
bit. We're doing it.
19:20
Don't leave me. Don't leave me, please.
19:23
OK, we're having some technical problems.
19:25
This happens here, so just take a minute.
19:29
And OK, content and sort. Filter.
19:39
Come on. Here we go.
19:42
Visibility almost dead. Apply.
19:46
OK, All right, here we go. Oops.
19:54
All right, so here's here's the video.
19:58
It's that video. That I made about giving away.
20:01
OK, now I'm going to take the URL from that video, copy it.
20:09
Can you guys see that? Well, got to trust me here, but
20:12
I'll show you when I do the drawing, go to the random
20:15
comment picker, OK and fetch. OK, so we are not going to
20:24
include replies and we are not going to allow duplicates.
20:32
Here we go, 102 hundred, 304 hundred 500, Hold on a second.
20:46
Oh boy, the wheels are coming off.
20:50
Is there 700 comments on that video?
20:53
Can't be comments, hold on and copy.
21:24
I'm working on it folks. And paste, OK, we're not going
21:34
to allow replies. No duplicates.
21:36
OK, let's try that again. OK, there we go.
21:44
We had 288 comments and there if anybody wants to check me,
21:53
that's the URL of the video. Now the winner is.
21:59
The winner is Jamie Hennick. Fit 5671 here.
22:08
This this guy. That's our winner.
22:13
Woohoo. Congratulations.
22:15
Congratulations now. Jamie Hennick, 5671, you need to
22:24
send me an e-mail at ronsbasementsilver@gmail.com.
22:28
I will e-mail you a four digit code which you will then leave a
22:33
comment in the comment section of this live stream to confirm
22:38
it's you. And then I'll mail that thing
22:40
out to you right away. OK.
22:41
Thank you guys, To everybody who entered.
22:43
Congratulations, Jamie. That's awesome.
22:47
All right, We got more to talk about.
22:49
We got more to talk about, OK? Hold on here, guys.
22:56
Wow, this will be our Christmas Eve, Eve tradition.
23:01
And bear with me. I'm going to read to you.
23:04
I thought this guy, really, he's one of the gurus, guy named Gary
23:09
Savage, Gary Savage said. Hold on here, Gary Savage.
23:25
There he is. OK, He's apologize.
23:37
Gary Savage says 2020, two 2022. When it came to the medals, we
23:45
just didn't want to lose a lot of money. 2023 was the year
23:49
where we made a little money in the metals, OK?
23:53
And the stocks did very, very well in the second-half of the
23:56
year. Says.
23:57
Metals had been turning sideways for three years as the banking
24:01
cartel has fought to keep gold suppressed.
24:05
But as you can see in the charts, gold is in the process
24:10
of breaking the manipulation. Now we know what Rick Rule
24:15
himself said. He was more referring to silver,
24:18
and this was six or seven weeks ago.
24:20
But he pointed out something that was news to all of us and
24:24
music to our ears at the same time.
24:28
And what Rick Rule pointed out was, hey, yeah, over the last
24:30
30-40 years, the price of silver and gold have been manipulated.
24:34
But guess what? Guess what?
24:36
Right. It's like Santa Claus.
24:38
They don't, they don't care the manipulators, they don't care if
24:42
they're manipulating the price up or down.
24:44
What they care about is making money.
24:46
And over the last 30 or 40 years, the, the macro
24:50
environment, the powers that be, made it easier for them to
24:54
manipulate the price down. That can change.
24:58
And I believe that is changing right now.
25:00
And the manipulators will be just as happy to manipulate the
25:05
price upwards as they were to manipulate the price downwards.
25:09
Remember that, OK, the monthly, the monthly stochastics, that's
25:15
a big techie thing, are starting to embed in the overbought
25:18
condition just like they did in 2019 and 20.
25:21
Most investors, however, will miss the rally because they no
25:26
longer believe. They no longer believe.
25:31
Now do you believe makes me think of Santa Claus?
25:36
Most investors will miss the rally because they no longer
25:39
believe metals can move. Three years of frustration have
25:44
taken their toll, and most retail investors are far too
25:49
focused on the short term wiggles.
25:52
They can't see the forest for the trees.
25:54
They will lack the discipline to hold their positions through the
25:58
erratic surges and pull backs that will characterize next
26:03
year's breakout. But make no mistake, next year
26:06
metals investors are going to clock something big, big gains.
26:10
And he's talking about the possibility of $3000 gold by the
26:16
end of next year, $50 silver, $65 silver Coin shop.
26:21
Chris and I made a video earlier today.
26:23
He's predicting one year from now, $70.00 silver.
26:27
And we're going to hold you to that coin shop.
26:29
Chris, Right 3000. Woah, what a super chat.
26:33
What? Santa's getting a little thin.
26:37
Hold on, let me get back, man. Wow.
26:40
No, it's my friend CWLP. Thank you, man.
26:45
Never expected, always massively appreciated.
26:51
Where was I, darn it. I had a good, I had a good, a
26:54
good, a good thought going about this gold market and silver
26:58
market. Nobody's talking about it.
27:01
And and again, thank you guys for these super chats when
27:07
nobody's talking about something, right.
27:10
Those are the things that always tend to happen.
27:13
Nobody wants to talk about the potential for a depression.
27:17
Nobody's really wanting to talk about the fact that we've got
27:19
deflation going on right now and the Fed will freak.
27:22
I've talked about that 25 times in the last 12 days.
27:26
You're sick of hearing about it. I'm sick of talking about it.
27:29
But it's the reality. And man, as we head into 2024,
27:33
the setup is just there for rocket fuel.
27:37
Guys, we can't remind ourselves of this.
27:40
And that's what this guy, Gary Savage was saying.
27:42
Like people have given up. Somebody else said it earlier.
27:45
I've read the other one. That's the sign of a bottom.
27:48
A lot of you didn't give up. I still believe.
27:51
You still believe, right? We know.
27:54
I don't mind sitting on a bunch of silver.
27:56
I don't mind really sitting on a bunch of precious metal mining
27:59
stocks. Has it been painful?
28:01
Yes. Has it been a crazy, frustrating
28:05
year? Let me fix my Santa hair.
28:09
Has it been a crazy, frustrating year?
28:12
Two years? Three years to be in the medals?
28:14
Yes. But we know what we own.
28:17
And I know whoa, whoa, whoa. You guys gave me 200 thumbs up.
28:22
Santa's going to ring his cowbell for you, so this is a
28:25
bell warning for those A lot of you been asking about
28:46
this guy. OK, that's Red Monkey.
28:49
He's the Copper Monkey. But more importantly, this
28:52
little monkey. I'll tell you something really
28:54
cute about him, this monkey. And this is the Honest to God
28:58
truth. He is very cute.
29:01
My daughter Lillian, from the time she was like 19 months
29:05
until she was probably five or six years old, their first
29:08
grade, she took this monkey everywhere she went.
29:11
This monkey has been down every sliding board.
29:18
Susie doesn't like 1. My mom always said sliding
29:21
board, every slide within a 30 mile radius of this house
29:24
multiple times. But that's the copper monkey and
29:28
we're gonna he'll become a a new character on the show as well.
29:32
So we we we we have a hard time really believing what can happen
29:40
next year. All right.
29:41
I understand right. It's, you know, it's hard to
29:45
believe there's a guy who flies through the sky with reindeer
29:48
and but what we're believing in is actually fundamentally truth,
29:53
fundamental reality of what can happen for the medals, prizes.
30:00
Just stop for a moment and think about, you know, it's Christmas
30:04
Eve, Eve. I don't want to talk about
30:05
unfortunate things, but the condition of our country,
30:08
without digging into the weeds, just the United States.
30:12
Just domestically, OK, think about what's going on here.
30:16
Economically. Think about what's going on here
30:20
from a fiscal perspective. Debt. 34 trillion.
30:23
Hint, Hint, OK, Think about what's going on with the
30:26
monetary system, what Thomas Jefferson warned about.
30:30
Think about what's going on in this country socially.
30:33
OK, Think about what's going on in this country politically,
30:39
just here. OK.
30:40
I know there's a lot of good things in this country, too.
30:43
There are some Wonderful, awesome, patriotic, good people
30:47
that are fed up with that list that I just spouted off.
30:52
But that list is the reality. That's the truth.
30:55
There are a lot of great people I know, 'cause I meet them all,
30:58
I'm talking to one right now. Most very likely, right?
31:01
We are good people. The people that are part of this
31:03
channel are really awesome, good people.
31:05
But we got big, big, big problems.
31:09
And we're like really seems like most people don't give a crud,
31:12
right, Okay. So, so let's think about as we
31:15
move in the next year, all those factors and none of those are
31:19
getting any better, Okay. And then zoom out a little bit
31:24
like Santa has to do every year and think of the whole entire
31:28
world, Think about what's going in the world on in the world
31:32
socially. Think about what's going on in
31:34
the world financially from a monetary and a fiscal
31:39
perspective. Guys, the world has like $300
31:43
trillion in debt, OK. The world debt to GDP ratio is
31:48
more like 3 to one. You know, we talk about it being
31:52
120% in the United States, 130%, which is untenable, which can't
31:58
be recovered from. It's mathematically impossible
32:01
basically. Well, the world's at 300%.
32:04
Think about how the world is changing also at the same time,
32:09
right. We could go on for the neck.
32:11
We could go on till Christmas morning talking about how the
32:14
bricks and the countries that are joining the bricks now, just
32:18
here in a few days, more than half the world's population,
32:21
more than half the world's natural resources, more than
32:24
half the world's economic power. China and India combined.
32:29
Almost 3 Trill or billion people.
32:32
China and India combined. Their military forces, The
32:36
number of soldiers they have, if you combine China and India, is
32:40
bigger than the entire population of the United States
32:43
of America. I'm not saying they're going to
32:45
attack us. We don't like war, We don't like
32:48
what's going on. But the reality is these
32:50
countries are powerful, OK? They're powerful, right?
32:55
Period. So look at what's going on in
32:57
the world. Oh, yeah.
32:59
You know, and it's very sad. We've got what's going on in
33:02
Israel. We have what's going on in
33:04
Ukraine. Things we couldn't even.
33:07
We would not you. We would you believe Santa if he
33:10
told you five years ago. And it's very unfortunate and my
33:14
beard's getting in my mouth, but it's very unfortunate that we
33:17
have war in Europe and a full scale war in Israel.
33:23
If we told you that five years ago, I wouldn't have believed
33:26
that we were basically at war with Russia.
33:29
Proxy war, but war nonetheless. So as we look at, as we look at
33:33
going into 2024, may this be my present to you this evening.
33:39
OK, realize, realize, realize one key component, right.
33:46
We're in a very similar situation to the 1970s.
33:51
Stagflation, deflation, hyperinflation, all the it's
33:55
very, very, very similar situation in the 70s, the price
34:00
of silver went up. It's you wouldn't, you wouldn't
34:04
believe, right? 2-2 hundred $300.00 silver.
34:08
If we had the same types of returns in the next 10 years
34:11
like we had during the 70s, what three $400.00 silver wouldn't be
34:16
out of the question at all? Gold, 1520 thousand, whatever
34:20
wouldn't be out of the question at all.
34:23
But there's a big, big kicker that I'm going to tell you here
34:26
in a second. I want to thank our sponsor.
34:29
Santa would like to say thank you to Pinbex.
34:31
That's where Santa gets all his silver coins that he puts in,
34:34
all the girls and boys stockings all around the world.
34:38
What Santa has found is that he trusts Pinbex.
34:41
That's first and foremost. Yes, Pinbex is on the nice list.
34:49
They also have a great selection.
34:52
And since Santa's a frugal guy, you know, I like to give as much
34:56
silver and gold to all the boys and girls as possible.
34:59
Santa has found that he gets more metal for his money at
35:04
Pinbex. And hey, look, I'm getting old.
35:07
You know, someday I'm gonna have to retire.
35:10
So Santa is he considers transferring his IRA into
35:14
precious metals. Well, he's gonna give Pen Becks
35:17
a call as well, cuz he knows that when it comes to IRA
35:20
transfers, he can probably get more money for his metal there
35:23
as well. Check out Pen Becks Pi MB EX.
35:26
Pin Becks. Pin Becks calm.
35:29
Thank you. Thank you, Pin Becks, for
35:30
sponsoring the basement and making all of this possible.
35:34
Thank you, Craig, for the Super chat.
35:37
Yes, hello, Ava. This is Santa Craig.
35:42
Absolutely. Ava Edmonds, Merry Christmas
35:46
from your old friend Santa Claus.
35:48
I know you've been a great little girl.
35:51
And I know that you are, Ava, a future stacker, and that you're
35:55
going to love all the silver and gold coins you're going to
35:58
accumulate over the course of your year of of your life.
36:02
Ava. Thank you.
36:03
Merry Christmas, Craig. Thank you.
36:05
Who was I talking to? I was just talking to somebody,
36:09
darn it. I was having an interview with
36:11
somebody and they were telling me about all the younger people
36:16
that are buying silver and gold. Darn it.
36:20
I wish I could remember there are in Ava's young, young,
36:23
young. But guys, we've got a whole new
36:27
wave of young people. Who was it?
36:29
I must have been on the phone. Darn it.
36:31
It's driving me crazy. Santa's getting old, you know?
36:33
Can't remember everything. Somebody some big shot.
36:36
Because I talked to a lot of big shots.
36:40
See, when you're a little shot, everybody else is a big shot.
36:43
So I talked to a lot of big shots.
36:45
I'm talking to a big shot right now.
36:47
Thank you for being here. Don't forget, please give this a
36:50
thumbs up. It's down there somewhere.
36:53
You might need to minimize your screen to make it happen.
36:56
Can we get? Look, I I promise.
36:58
Santa promised his daughter Lily.
37:00
You take her to the donut shop when we're done here.
37:02
I only got about another 10 minutes so we can spend
37:04
together. And I got to get ready to
37:06
deliver presents and all that great stuff.
37:08
But can we get the 300 thumbs up?
37:11
Can we do it for Santa? It was Yara.
37:14
Thank you Coin shop, Chris. It was Yara.
37:16
Who? Yara.
37:17
Who is the marketing director at Arcadia Economics?
37:21
With our friend Chris Marcus. She was talking about the
37:24
younger people. She's also like a registered
37:27
broker for Miles Franklin, which is the company owned by our
37:31
other great friend Andy Scheckman.
37:33
Ho ho ho ho. Santa loves Pinbecks, but Santa
37:36
loves Andy Scheckman as well. Andy Scheckman, he's he's
37:40
definitely on the nice list because he is a warrior for the
37:45
silver and gold community. That's a flat out fact.
37:48
But Yara was talking about younger people coming in.
37:51
Guys, think about all these factors.
37:54
And we got to remember gold did well last year.
37:58
Silver did OK, I I know you. I know you hate me when I say
38:02
this. I understand.
38:03
It's OK. But in my mind, like $3233 and
38:08
silver is the equivalent of 2100 in gold.
38:13
All right. 31 to me is essentially the new all time
38:17
high because silver and I didn't.
38:20
I'm I'm not going to say that I thought this up myself because I
38:22
didn't. That's how we learned it's from
38:24
each other. But I heard a good big top
38:26
analyst, maybe it was that Michael Oliver guy, but he was
38:28
saying like you got to remember, silver has really spent very
38:32
little time above $3035 an ounce.
38:35
So there's not a lot of people that bought silver between 40
38:39
and $50. There's not a lot of overhead
38:42
resistance there. So once Silver gets into that 30
38:45
range, it's Katie bar the door. And I had AI had a big kicker.
38:50
I was going to share with you guys some more good news.
38:53
I almost forgot. Thank you for reminding myself
38:58
I'm not very important, but I'm all I think about.
39:04
You want to hear something else funny?
39:05
I was driving my daughters to their soccer game this morning
39:08
and we're waiting at a stop light.
39:10
Then there's like a a minivan in front of us and I just look and
39:14
there's a sticker on the back of the of the minivan that's got
39:18
like, you know, two people together.
39:21
And it says wrestling underneath it.
39:23
Wrestling. And I asked my daughter said,
39:25
isn't that a funny? She said, yeah, that's a funny
39:27
bumper. I'm like, why would somebody put
39:29
a bumper sticker? And if you have a wrestling
39:31
bumper sticker on your van and this is you, I apologize.
39:34
Everybody can do whatever they want.
39:36
But she said, yeah, daddy, like what do they, what do they think
39:40
we're going to do? Like, pull up next to him and
39:41
say, hey, you want to wrestle. OK, I thought that was funny.
39:47
She said that. Like, yeah, no joke.
39:49
Oh yeah, the big kicker. Santa's always got one more
39:53
trick up his sleeve for you. We talked about ad nauseam how
39:57
the set up right now is very similar, very similar to the
40:02
1970s where we had astronomical returns for silver and gold,
40:09
right? That's the fact, Jack.
40:11
You cannot argue that. We need 19 more thumbs up, and I
40:15
can ring the Santa gong. Where's the gong?
40:18
Where's the gong? Where's the gong?
40:20
Oh, there's the gong right there.
40:22
That's the gong. OK, keep giving those thumbs up.
40:26
But there's a there's a afterburner in effect right now.
40:31
All those factors, all those domestic issues in the United
40:34
States, all those major issues on a worldwide geopolitical
40:39
basis, bricks, all that. Everything go D dollarization,
40:43
OK. The wars going on, every one of
40:46
those factors that are similar to the 1970s.
40:49
There's one little difference. They've all been majorly
40:53
amplified now. They've all been escalated.
40:58
The level of debt. Any, any of them.
41:00
All those factors that contributed to unbelievable
41:04
silver and gold returns in the 70s are actually, you know, are
41:08
actually much more exaggerated now, which could easily lead to
41:13
much more exaggerated returns in the price of the metals as we
41:17
head in to 2024. Here, This is funny.
41:22
I wasn't going to share this. I got this in the mail today.
41:24
I'm going to hide his address. That guy, he sent me this.
41:28
This is real, OK? It's from one of the
41:31
subscribers. This is an unboxing and I got it
41:35
and I thought, oh maybe it's like a one ounce silver bar And
41:38
and I opened it up and I saw this and I thought, cool, a
41:42
couple Chick-fil-A gift cards. How not I mean really nice.
41:46
You know, because I like Chick-fil-A and the truth is
41:50
that I really like Chick-fil-A so do my daughter's and it kind
41:53
of matches the Santa outfit. Hey, this is Chick-fil-A.
41:57
Anyway, so this guy RB, I'm not going to disclose his his
42:03
personal information said that. And I was like, that's cool
42:06
because usually I skew my daughters to McDonald's because
42:10
as you know I have a problem with being too frugal or tight
42:14
wad. And I thought, cool, that's
42:18
great, that's perfect. I can go to Chick-fil-A with the
42:21
girls and you know, it'll be it's a good.
42:23
I was very happy. I was.
42:24
I opened the envelope and that's what I saw.
42:26
And then there was a letter and I thought, oh cool, a letter.
42:29
OK, well then I opened the letter up and look, this guy
42:34
sent me $100 bill, which was really awesome.
42:38
I was like, that's cool. We got I'm going to ring the
42:40
gong, OK, but which made me very happier.
42:44
I was happy with the Chick-fil-A, but that really was
42:47
nice. Uncalled for unexpected, but
42:49
really cool. Really nice.
42:51
But this is the best part what he wrote.
42:53
It's very short. He said, Hey, Ron, a little
42:57
something for the girls and a little bit of something for you
43:01
and Susie. Oops, Maybe I shouldn't have let
43:04
Susie. It's written in pencil.
43:05
I can erase the Susie part. This is funny.
43:09
Maybe you can let everyone order a soda for once.
43:15
And what he means by that is that I've talked that it used to
43:17
really drive me crazy. Want me to go out to eat?
43:20
I always want everybody to drink water, but the girls always want
43:23
to buy sodas and they're like $3 each.
43:25
Drives me crazy. So he sent me that and I thought
43:28
that was really funny. Thank you, RB.
43:31
This is RB saying thank you to RB on a on a serious note, very
43:35
touching. Very nice.
43:36
I gotta ring that gong. Ho ho ho ho.
43:44
This is for you all you good boys and girls.
43:52
Three rings of the gong for 300 thumbs up.
43:54
Don't forget we got a train whistle right there by the Weber
43:57
bear that will blow as this community continues to expand
44:03
and blow up. When we get to 400 thumbs up,
44:06
it's time for the train whistle. All right, Yeah, just absolutely
44:11
crazy what has been happening right now.
44:14
Let me read a couple of these interesting points of what we
44:18
had happened last year that maybe we forgot about.
44:22
And when it comes to Silver, OK, a couple of things that kind of
44:27
broke this year. A lot of this came from our
44:28
friend John Little. I don't know if you guys are
44:32
following him at the Silver Academy.
44:35
If you're a reader, if you like to read things about Silver
44:38
Silver Academy at the sub stack, just Google it.
44:41
You can find it or send me an e-mail.
44:43
I can send you a link. But he, he came out with some
44:48
super interesting things that nobody else is talking about.
44:51
Just a few of them with Silver #1, right, another area we
44:55
always talk about solar, right, that's a big deal and that is a
45:00
huge, huge deal for the demand for silver.
45:02
But the other big area that things that nobody talks about
45:06
that John brought up this year, high speed rail uses a ton of
45:10
silver. The military is using a ton of
45:14
silver in these new developments within hydrogen fuel cell
45:18
technology are taking a ton of silver.
45:21
But guys what is really, really going to propel the price
45:26
higher, OK And I've become much more convinced of this just in
45:33
the last two to three weeks is going to be the surge in
45:37
investor demand. The good news is investor
45:41
demand, I've already said this, but I'll say it again down last
45:44
year silver down like 22% and we still have what, 245020 silver
45:52
price. Guys as soon if we just get back
45:56
to well, Rick Rule, I'll, I'll refer to Rick Rule one more
45:59
time. Thank you again for the Super
46:01
chat $100. All the Super chats super
46:06
appreciated. Not expected.
46:08
Thank you. Thank you.
46:08
Thank you. But Rick Rule said this, this is
46:12
the good news. I in Yarra and I when we were
46:16
talking it's it's it's it's it's hard to convey this but the fact
46:21
that excuse me, Santikoff silver and gold are doing pretty darn
46:26
well in the face of what is crappy sentiment.
46:31
Investor demand down is a good thing because when it turns
46:36
guys, it is going to be totally explosive, especially for
46:42
silver, right. Because at the same time that
46:45
that investor demand kicks in, we also have all the silver in
46:50
the world being sucked in by all of these new technologies.
46:53
Anything electronic, anything green is silver, silver, silver.
46:58
Hey guys, I guess I since I got so many super chats you bought
47:03
me off. I won't sing any Christmas
47:05
carols. You never know.
47:05
Maybe tomorrow I need to practice.
47:07
We'll sing A Christmas Carol together.
47:10
I really appreciate everybody being here.
47:12
Congratulations to our winner. Don't forget send me A and his
47:19
name is Jamie Henneck, 5671. Jamie, send me an e-mail.
47:25
I'll send you a code. Put the code and A and a comment
47:28
on this video and we'll get that thing shipped out to you.
47:31
But guys, this has been awesome. Lisa, thank you for my Santa
47:34
outfit. OK, it's been great.
47:37
I love it. I keep laughing, keep laughing,
47:41
you know, look and also remember if you're lonely or whatever
47:48
during the holiday season. There are some people that that
47:51
that you know the holidays are great.
47:53
Now I'm kind of in the middle mixed bag, I'll be honest with
47:56
you. But some people get sad during
47:58
the holidays. Just remember, you're never
48:00
alone, right? And I will be back tomorrow.
48:03
I'll probably try to do a quick live stream tomorrow around
48:05
10:00 AM Central so we can spend a little time together on
48:09
Christmas Eve. But oh, hey, go check out Coin
48:14
Shop. Chris and I made a video we put
48:16
out this afternoon if you have some extra time.
48:18
Want to listen to Coin Shop? Chris and I talk about what we
48:20
see going on. Go check that out.
48:23
Enjoy yourself. Be good to yourself.
48:25
OK? You deserve it.
48:27
I really appreciate everybody. I appreciate all the Super
48:30
chats, I appreciate all the support, the friendship and I
48:34
will see you on Christmas Eve. Thank you.
