- 0:52through your mouth. One more time, take a deep breath
- 0:59in through your nose and slowly and gently breathe out
- 1:07through your mouth. And with each breath you take, you
- 1:12feel calmer and more peaceful, And you are breathing in
- 1:18pure peacefulness, and you are breathing out all of the
- 1:23next thoughts that you've been carrying around that you don't
- 1:26need anymore. Just bring your breathing back to its normal rhythm.
- 1:34Just relax, Just follow the rhythm of your breath without
- 1:42changing it in any way at all. Pay attention to
- 1:48the thoughts in your mind, listen.
- 1:52Speaker 2: To them, and then just let them go.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I go of your chatter in mind, and let go
- 2:02of all the thoughts you no longer need, Let go
- 2:09of all your worries, and let go of anything that
- 2:13bothers you in any way.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Just be you.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Simply lie there and just be you, and just let
- 2:26go of the need to be anywhere, Let go of
- 2:29the need to be anyone and just let over the
- 2:33need to be anything at all.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Just be you.
- 2:41Speaker 1: And enjoy the luxury after being no time, no tiktoks
- 2:46of clocks, no way you have to be. Just let
- 2:52go of all the stuff that you usually carry around
- 2:56with you. Just let it all go and just be
- 3:00the wonderful, amazing you. Now imagine a beautiful special rainbow
- 3:10floating just above your head, and you can see the
- 3:14purples and the blues. You can see the greens and
- 3:18the yellows, the oranges and the reds, and maybe you
- 3:23can even see some gold and silver too. See how
- 3:27it shines so brightly. See the beautiful colors, and it's
- 3:34like the colors are alive.
- 3:37Speaker 2: That's because they are.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Can you see them? Each time you breathe out, this
- 3:49beautiful rainbow grows larger and larger, and it starts to
- 3:56gently wash over you, help you to relax, and you
- 4:01can actually feel the colors washing over your body. Can
- 4:06you feel it? Can you feel how warm it is?
- 4:11How it makes your skin tingle just a little bit
- 4:17everywhere the colors touched you. You feel yourself relaxing deeper
- 4:22and deeper, and you feel so peaceful, so calm.
- 4:28Speaker 2: And so very relaxed.
- 4:33Speaker 1: As you breathe in this beautiful rainbow light makes you
- 4:38feel so safe and protected, and you feel so loved.
- 4:44That's because you are safe, You are loved, and you
- 4:50are protected. Always in front of you is a flower
- 5:01filled with daffodils, all different shades of yellow, and all
- 5:06shimmering in the sunlight. And you watch as they raise
- 5:11their heads up to the sunlight, drawing all that they need,
- 5:18all of it from the sun, the warmth to grow
- 5:22and to stretch themselves, the light to raise themselves higher still,
- 5:28and they are surrounded by the light, just as you are.
- 5:35The yellow white rays of the sun lifts you up too,
- 5:40and you can feel your spirits rising. You can feel
- 5:45the inspiring rays of the sun shining down on your body,
- 5:50and you can feel the joy beginning to enter your heart,
- 5:55and you feel.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Ever so happy.
- 6:00Speaker 1: You see many other different types of flowers, all swaying
- 6:04gently in the cool, calm breeze, all lifting their heads
- 6:09towards the sunlight, just like you, and you realize you
- 6:17can hear running water, so you stand up to see
- 6:22where it's coming from, and you walk along the gravel
- 6:27pathway towards the sound and as you draw closer to it,
- 6:32you see before you a wonderful shallow stream, and the
- 6:38water was so clear and so inviting. You could even
- 6:42see tiny colorful fish as they swim on by. And
- 6:49there are rocks in the stream of yours, and the
- 6:53sound you heard as the water flowing around and over them.
- 7:01The sun is shining on the water, and it looks
- 7:04like a thousand stars of bouncing all over it, and
- 7:08it's so beautiful. And you decide to sit down on
- 7:14the bank by the stream for just a while, just
- 7:18to relax and just drift with your thoughts. And you
- 7:23gaze into the water, feeling so peaceful, so calm, so relaxed.
- 7:31Speaker 2: It's lovely.
- 7:37Speaker 1: As you sit there, each thought that you have, just
- 7:42let it go, place it into the water and watch
- 7:47it as it washes away. And you watch as the
- 7:51thought just gently sails off into the distance, bouncing along
- 7:57the ripples of the water until it out of sight.
- 8:01Speaker 2: It's quite funny to watch.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Really. When you have another thought, just do the same
- 8:08thing again and watch it as it sails off into
- 8:12the distance.
- 8:15Speaker 2: And why you've been.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Sitting here just thinking your little thoughts, You suddenly notice
- 8:22sitting beside you is a little brown dug He has
- 8:27his eyes closed, and you notice his lovely shiny brown feathers.
- 8:34You can even see some water drops on his folded wings.
- 8:40Speaker 2: And you wonder what he's doing.
- 8:44Speaker 1: He opens his little brown eyes and looks at you,
- 8:49and he tells you that his name is Marvin, and
- 8:52that he comes here every day at the same time,
- 8:57just to meditate by the stream. He says he likes
- 9:01to think of all the things he is grateful for
- 9:03in his life, and he likes to say thank you
- 9:07out loud because it makes him feel really, really good.
- 9:14He asks you what you would like to join him
- 9:16and be grateful with him. Well, you say yes, but
- 9:22you're not really sure what you have to do, So
- 9:26Marvin explains. Marvin tells you that all you have to
- 9:32do is think of all the things.
- 9:34Speaker 3: You are grateful for, things like your parents, your friends,
- 9:40your pets, the ice cream that you ate last week,
- 9:44your lovely soft bed, your new school bag to carry
- 9:48your books, anything at all that you love and you
- 9:52are grateful for.
- 9:54Speaker 1: You get the idea. So you sit with Marvin and
- 10:00your eyes and in your mind spend a few moments
- 10:05thinking of all the things you're grateful for.
- 10:10Speaker 2: All of the good.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Things in your life, all of the things that make
- 10:15you happy. So just sit there with Marvin for just
- 10:20a moment. As now Marvin opens his eyes and you
- 12:07do too. Marvin says, now it's time to say thank
- 12:12you for all the good things in your life. So
- 12:17the two of you say as loud as you can,
- 12:20thank you, thank you, thank you. Doesn't that feel good,
- 12:26especially when you say it really loudly. How do you
- 12:30feel right now? Can you feel the.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Big smile on your face?
- 12:37Speaker 1: Can you feel your heart all filled up with love
- 12:40and gratitude? Marvin smiles at you and tells you that
- 12:48you did very well for your first time. He's an
- 12:52expertcy he does it all the time. But it's now
- 12:56time for Marvin to go. He says his goodbyes and
- 13:01waddles off into the stream.
- 13:04Speaker 2: You ask him where he's going.
- 13:07Speaker 1: He says he's going home now, but first he wants
- 13:10to have a little swim, so he says goodbye again
- 13:15and swims off into the distance, quacking away happily as
- 13:19he goes. You think he's very mysterious, this Marvin, very
- 13:25very nice, but very mysterious. You don't know anything about
- 13:29him at all, but you do like him. What a
- 13:34lovely little mystic ducky is. You won't ever forget Marvin
- 13:38Hell you he Now put your feet into the water
- 13:46and feel the cool, refreshing flow of it running gently
- 13:50over them, and it feels so wonderful, so refreshing and revitalizing.
- 13:57Speaker 2: And you look around.
- 13:58Speaker 1: You feel so free here, so relaxed, and it feels
- 14:04so wonderful just to sit with your feet in the cool,
- 14:08calm water, listening to the sounds of nature, just you,
- 14:15the water and nature, and you feel so very grateful
- 14:21just to be here. So sit for just a moment
- 14:28and just listen. Listen to the sounds of the crystal
- 14:34clear calming water as it soothes your very soul. Listen
- 14:41to the sounds of the crystal clear calming water as
- 14:46it makes your soul sink with happiness. Now you realize
- 15:02now you are back in your very own bed, feeling
- 15:07all warm and snuggling, and it's time for you to
- 15:13sleep now, as your eyes are becoming very heavy and
- 15:18your body is beginning to go all.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Soft with sleepiness.
- 15:25Speaker 1: So you settle down and pull the quilt or blanket
- 15:28up over your shoulders and take a big, deep breath
- 15:33in through your nose and then slowly and gently breathe
- 15:40out through your mouth, and you feel so happy you
- 15:45met Marvin today, so blessed, so grateful, that you take
- 15:52another deep breath in and slowly and gently breathe out
- 16:03one last time, deep breath in, and slowly and gently
- 16:10breathe out, And just as the wave of sleepiness is
- 16:19coming all over your body, you see once again Marvin's
- 16:23happy little face, lovely Marvin, Marvin, the Mystic Duck, and
- 16:32you give a great, big soft sigh as you smile
- 16:38and drift gently into the best night sleep ever. Bas
