- 2:51to tell them. Sunny mornings send you. In local
- 2:56news, Boston's MBTA is preparing for a nine -day
- 3:01closure of the Red Line's Braintree branch starting
- 3:04on November 15th through November 23rd for essential
- 3:07track maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.
- 3:11During this time, riders will be directed to
- 3:13shuttle buses and commuter rail trains for free
- 3:16transportation between the affected stops. The
- 3:20agency stated this work will improve the reliability
- 3:23of service allowing trains to run at 50 miles
- 3:26per hour in the area. Riders should plan for
- 3:30extra travel time as a trip from Park Street
- 3:32Station in downtown Boston to Braintree may take
- 3:35an additional 35 minutes. More details on alternate
- 3:40travel options can be found on the MBTA's website.
- 3:48Now on to sports. Is baseball next? for Kyler
- 3:53Murray? It is hard to envision another national
- 3:57football lead team giving up much for him, let
- 4:00alone assuring him a starting job. The Cardinals'
- 4:04decision to name Jacoby Brissette their starting
- 4:06quarterback did not matter in Week 10 against
- 4:09a red -hot Seahawks team in Seattle. It is clear
- 4:13the Arizona staff would rather bet its future
- 4:16on Brissette than on Murray. the 2019 No. 1 draft
- 4:20choice, earning seven times as much an annual
- 4:23salary. Murray turns 29 before next season, and
- 4:28the Major League Baseball's athletics own his
- 4:30baseball rights. And if you are a fan of offense,
- 4:34Monday night in Green Bay was ugly. The Philadelphia
- 4:38Eagles defeated the Green Bay Packers 10 -7 in
- 4:42a tightly contested match at Lambeau Field. The
- 4:46Eagles' chances of capturing the number one seed
- 4:48rose to 33 % with this win. Jalen Hurts connected
- 4:53with Devonta Smith for a 36 -yard touchdown pass,
- 4:58helping the Eagles improve to 7 -2. Meanwhile,
- 5:03the Packers struggled, scoring their first points
- 5:05with just 5 minutes and 49 seconds left in the
- 5:09game. They fell from first to third in the NFC
- 5:12North standings with a record of . . . five wins,
- 5:15three losses, and one tie in local sports. After
- 5:21seven straight wins, the Patriots are no longer
- 5:24just a scrappy surprise team, proving they are
- 5:27the best team in the American football conference
- 5:29heading into Week 11. Their recent victory over
- 5:33the Buccaneers showcased their impressive potential,
- 5:36with quarterback Drake May leading a balanced
- 5:39offense. While the Colts and Broncos have similar
- 5:42records, they still have much to prove, unlike
- 5:46New England. In a significant coaching move,
- 5:49Lions head coach Dan Campbell took over play
- 5:52-calling duties, resulting in a solid win against
- 5:55the commanders. Meanwhile, pressure mounts for
- 5:59Falcons coach Raheem Morris as the team struggles
- 6:02to find success. In top news, an observatory
- 6:08detected the first radio signal from the interstellar
- 6:11object. 3 -I Atlas, confirming its natural origin.
- 6:17This signal, detected by Meerkat, a radio telescope
- 6:20in South Africa, was not a technological transmission.
- 6:25Instead, it showed lines of radio absorption
- 6:27by hydroxyl radicals, consistent with typical
- 6:31comet activity. Astrophysicist A. V. Loeb noted
- 6:35that continued monitoring is necessary to determine
- 6:38the nature of 3 -I Atlas. While some still speculate
- 6:43about its origin, the detection has sparked public
- 6:46interest in astrophysics. Mark your calendars
- 6:49for December 19, when 3I Atlas reaches its closest
- 6:53point to Earth. In business news, Warren Buffett,
- 7:00the 95 -year -old chairman and chief executive
- 7:03officer of Berkshire Hathaway, announced he is
- 7:06going quiet in his annual Thanksgiving letter.
- 7:09While he will continue writing messages to his
- 7:12children and shareholders, he will no longer
- 7:14write the annual shareholder letter once Greg
- 7:17Abel takes over as chief executive at the end
- 7:20of this year. Buffett expressed he generally
- 7:23feels good, despite the effects of aging on his
- 7:26balance, sight, hearing, and memory. He donated
- 7:30shares valued at roughly $1 .3 billion to four
- 7:34family foundations. Buffett remains optimistic
- 7:38about Berkshire's future and discusses the importance
- 7:40of philanthropy and succession planning. In crypto
- 7:44movement, Bitcoin is unchanged at $106 ,000.
- 7:51Ethereum is down half a percent to just under
- 7:54$3 ,600. And XRP is up 3 % to $2 .51. Moving
- 8:02on to a more local vibe. In our community spotlight

- 8:48back to the show. Let's talk science. Around
- 8:52the world, the race is on to harness the near
- 8:55-infinite power of nuclear fusion. In a small
- 8:58town in the south of France, A scientific megaproject
- 9:02is inching closer to solving global energy needs
- 9:05by building a star on Earth. The project, called
- 9:10ITER, aims to replicate the Sun's process of
- 9:13fusion, which produces energy without carbon
- 9:16emissions. Despite facing delays and skepticism
- 9:20from some scientists, ITER has reached significant
- 9:24milestones, including the successful installation
- 9:27of the first vacuum vessel module. As nations
- 9:31collaborate, the project symbolizes hope for
- 9:34clean energy, though challenges remain ahead.
- 9:38The ultimate goal is to achieve energy -positive
- 9:41fusion by 2039. And in entertainment news, in
- 9:49an exclusive exit interview, late -night host
- 9:52Steph Colbert reflects on his cancellation from
- 9:55The Late Show. after nearly nine years as the
- 9:58number one show in late night. Colbert humorously
- 10:02shares his surprise upon learning from his manager
- 10:05that the show would end, calling it interesting.
- 10:09He notes that the decision was purely financial,
- 10:12unrelated to the show's performance. Despite
- 10:15the cancellation, Colbert emphasizes his commitment
- 10:18to making the remaining episodes memorable. He
- 10:22describes the energy he receives from the audience
- 10:24as the best medicine and expresses gratitude
- 10:28for his time in late -night television. Well,
- 10:32alrighty folks, it's time for the quote of the
- 10:35day. And today, our quote comes from the American
- 10:39poet and essayist, Edgar A. Guest. And he said,
