  Leviticus chapter 3. Let us pray, our Father who's in

  heaven. We thank you, God, for another
• 0:08
  day to come and to worship you in spirit and truth.

  We thank you God for your infallible, inerrant word.
• 0:16
  We thank you for the inspired word breathed by the Holy
• 0:19
  Spirit. God, as we get into Your word
• 0:22
  today, I pray that we can hide it in our hearts so that we
• 0:26
  might not sin against You. Open up our minds and our
• 0:29
  hearts, Lord, as we open up Your Word, help us to understand how
• 0:34
  all of these things point to Yeshua, how all of the words on
• 0:39
  the page are life and breath. Thank you, God, for all the many
• 0:44
  blessings you've already poured out on us today.
• 0:47
  Lord, guide us, keep us, heal us.
• 0:51
  Father, heal our broken bodies. Lord, restore marriages and
• 0:55
  bring the prodigals home. Father, I pray that you'll
• 0:58
  continue to fuel us for the journey.
• 1:02
  Lord, I pray for supernatural protection around law
• 1:06
  enforcement, military. God, I pray that you'll help us,
• 1:10
  Lord, to know that you're fighting our battles for us.
• 1:13
  You're not against us, Lord, You are for us.
• 1:16
  There is no one who can be against us.
• 1:18
  We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Father.
• 1:21
  We pray, Lord, that you'll help the ethnic Jews to understand
• 1:27
  their need for Jesus Christ. Lord, I pray that you'll
• 1:31
  continue the story, your story, God, and I pray that we'll be
• 1:36
  part of that Father, grafted in the unnatural, grafted in to the
• 1:40
  natural. Father, we thank you for the
• 1:42
  root, Lord, the Jewish people, Lord, the Israeli people, God,
• 1:48
  we thank you Lord, and we bless them today, Lord.
• 1:52
  And we pray God that you'll reverse all of this
• 1:56
  anti-Semitism that's in the world, God, All the Jew hatred
• 2:00
  that's in the world. God, I pray that you will help
• 2:04
  the Jews, Lord, and continue to protect them.
• 2:07
  Father, we thank you, God, that you are the God of the Jews, and
• 2:13
  that we attach ourselves through the lineage of our Messiah, the
• 2:17
  Jewish King. Father, we attach ourselves
• 2:21
  through him. Father, we thank you, Lord, that
• 2:24
  the gates of hell will not prevail against the church.
• 2:29
  We thank you, God, that you have a plan.
• 2:32
  And Lord, we step in to that Lord and Lord, we just ask that
• 2:36
  you'll take this Time, Lord, and teach us all of your ways and
• 2:40
  your paths. I decrease as you increase.

  It's all about King Jesus. It's always been about King
• 2:47
  Jesus. It'll always be about King
• 2:49
  Jesus. We love you, Father, and it's in
• 2:52
  Jesus, holy and precious name that I pray.

  Amen. Let's start in verse one.
• 3:02
  And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if
• 3:11
  he offer it of the herd, whether it be a male or female, he shall
• 3:16
  offer it without a blemish before the Lord.
• 3:19
  So imagine that, friends, here we are.
• 3:21
  We get to see this peace offering.
• 3:23
  This is voluntary. He can bring a male or a female
• 3:27
  there. And it was communion with God.
• 3:30
  This was saying we're in right relationship, I love you, Jesus,
• 3:35
  you love me. And let's have a meal together
• 3:38
  too. And he shall lay his hand upon
• 3:41
  the head of his offering and kill it at the door of the
• 3:43
  Tabernacle of the congregation. And Aaron's sons, the priest
• 3:47
  shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round and about.
• 3:51
  So this was the altar outside of the holiest place, and you can
• 3:56
  see here that this was meant to be a place of communion unto
• 4:02
  God. Three.
• 4:04
  And he shall offer the sacrifice of the peace offering and
• 4:07
  offering made by fire unto the Lord.
• 4:10
  The fat that covers the innards, and the fat that is upon the
• 4:13
  inwards. So here we get to see that the
• 4:17
  fat belongs unto the Lord. This would have been the sweet
• 4:21
  smelling of the fat burning four, and the two kidneys of the
• 4:26
  fat that is on them, which is by the flanks and the column of the
• 4:29
  liver and the kidneys. Shall he it, shall he take away?
• 4:34
  So here he's removing the organs, 5 And air and sun shall
• 4:38
  burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon
• 4:43
  the wood that is on the fire. It is an offering made by fire,
• 4:47
  a sweet savour unto the Lord. So these were the parts that
• 4:51
  belonged to the Lord, a sweet aroma going up to the His holy
• 4:56
  nostrils. But here you get to see that the
• 4:59
  person who brought the peace offering was allowed to eat. 6
• 5:07
  And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto
• 5:11
  the Lord, be of the flock, male or female, he shall offer it
• 5:15
  without blemish. So that is Speaking of the
• 5:19
  spotless land that was slain before the foundations of the
• 5:22
  earth. All of what you're going to find
• 5:25
  in the book of Leviticus. This is a spoiler alert friends.
• 5:29
  All points to our Lord Jesus Christ.
• 5:32
  Every bit of it shows us our need for our Lord.
• 5:36
  God had a plan, as he's telling Moses to pin all of these things
• 5:41
  down. He had a plan to not abolish the
• 5:44
  law, but to fulfill it in Christ Jesus. 7 And if he offer a lamb
• 5:52
  for his offering, then shall he offer it before the Lord. 8 And
• 5:56
  he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill
• 5:59
  it before the Tabernacle of the congregation, and errant sons
• 6:03
  shall sprinkle the blood thereof round and about the altar.
• 6:08
  So this is the same as if he offered a bull.
• 6:11
  If he offered of the goats or of the sheep, he was to do the same
• 6:17
  thing. 9 And he shall offer the sacrifice of the peace,
• 6:23
  offering, an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
• 6:27
  The fat thereof it in the whole room shall take he off hard by
• 6:32
  the backbone, and the fat that covers the inwards, and all the
• 6:36
  fat that is upon the inwards. So here what you would need to
• 6:41
  know is that if you were go, if you were to go to the temple in
• 6:48
  the days of the Jews, you would have seen a bloody mess,
• 6:54
  friends. And there is no remission of
• 6:58
  sins without the shedding of blood.
• 7:00
  So you can see here that all the way back in Leviticus God had a
• 7:04
  plan to shed the blood of his only begotten Son, and that as
• 7:09
  the as the blood ran red and down the cross as the water
• 7:13
  gushed out, friends, we will be cleansed and healed and made
• 7:17
  whole in that one with a holy God. 10 And the two kidneys, and
• 7:23
  the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the call
• 7:27
  above the liver and the kidneys, shall he take away. 11 And the
• 7:31
  priest shall burn it upon the altar.
• 7:33
  It is the food of the offering made by fire unto the Lord.
• 7:38
  So here you get to see that the N words are taken, and they are
• 7:41
  burned unto God. But the meat is given to the
• 7:45
  person offering of the peace offering. 12 And if his offering
• 7:49
  be of a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord. 13 And
• 7:53
  he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before
• 7:57
  the Tabernacle of the congregation.
• 7:59
  The sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar
• 8:03
  round and about. So here we get to see that he
• 8:07
  went from a calf to a sheep to a goat.
• 8:16
  And it is the same prescribed way to come near unto a holy
• 8:22
  God. 14 And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an
• 8:28
  offering made by fire unto the Lord, And the fat that covers
• 8:32
  the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards, 15 the
• 8:35
  two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the
• 8:39
  flanks of the call above the liver, and the kidneys it shall,
• 8:43
  it shall he take away. So it's in the same manner they
• 8:47
  are to offer part of it unto God, and the other part is for
• 8:51
  them to be able to eat. 16 And the priest shall burn them upon
• 8:56
  the altar. It is the food of the offering
• 8:58
  made by fire for a sweet savour. All the fat is The Lord's God
• 9:04
  deserves the best part, friends. That's what He is showing us
• 9:08
  here. He deserves our best, He
• 9:11
  deserves our first. And that is how we come unto a
• 9:15
  holy God. We do not give them sloppy
• 9:18
  seconds. We do not give them the
• 9:20
  leftovers. We give them our best.
• 9:22
  The first part of our day, friends.
• 9:24
  The first part of our increase, friends.
• 9:27
  That is what God deserves and that is what He wants, friends.
• 9:32
  And you need to know that God will accept you no matter what
• 9:37
  friends, But He is going to use those who will serve Him in the
• 9:45
  capacity that He outlines within the full context of His Word.
• 9:50
  He can love you, but He can use you less.
• 9:55
  And that is what you need to know.
• 9:57
  Those who have determined within their hearts to serve Him with
• 10:03
  their whole hearts, God is going to use mightily within their
• 10:07
  lifetime. We'll land on 17 and there shall
• 10:12
  be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your
• 10:16
  dwellings that you eat neither fat nor blood.
• 10:20
  So here, a lot of what he's going to tell us is that the
• 10:24
  blood all the way back here in Leviticus was the life of the
• 10:30
  animal. And he is going to show them all
• 10:34
  the way back here. And really, if you go back into
• 10:37
  Genesis, whenever we're talking about Cain and Abel, and
• 10:42
  whenever Abel gave him the first of the flock and the sacrifice
• 10:47
  there, and even whenever Noah stepped off the boat, friends,
• 10:52
  he gave a sacrifice. And whenever God called Abram,
• 10:55
  he gave a sacrifice. Sacrifice has always been built
• 10:59
  in to the faith of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the
• 11:03
  Jewish God. You need to understand that
• 11:06
  there is sacrifice and for us as Christians are all sufficient.
• 11:10
  Sacrifice was Jesus Christ is Jesus Christ will always be
• 11:16
  Jesus Christ. There is no more need for the
• 11:18
  blood of bulls and goats, friends, but you also need to
• 11:23
  know that you have to be covered in the blood of Jesus Christ
• 11:27
  from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet.
• 11:30
  Not just dunked in water, friends, but bathed in the blood
• 11:34
  of Jesus. And here God is outlining to the
• 11:38
  Israelites as they are in the wilderness of how to be covered
• 11:43
  over. And isn't it amazing that we can
• 11:46
  see an aerial view? We could see the bird's eye
• 11:50
  view, Friends, of what God was trying to show us and to show
• 11:55
  them is that we desperately need our Lord Jesus Christ to be
• 12:00
  saved. I hope you've been blessed by
