- 0:42SPEAKER_02: And then when you don't call, I'm just like, I guess this is over.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: Like, he doesn't care about this anymore, which is fine.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: And we don't have to do this forever.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: We could just do it once in a while.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: We don't have any rules.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: There's no rules here.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: There's no rules.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: I was going to call you.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: I I asked my my wife, I said, hey, because we played Scrabble.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: I said, I want to call in the middle of the Scrabble game.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Do you play Scrabble every day now?
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Every day, yeah.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to get like a whole bunch of game.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to get good with my words.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: She beat me by 50, um, which is for me a big deal.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: But I was gonna call her in the middle of the Scrabble.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: So that's what I was planning, but then she was like, No, she didn't want to do that because it's eight minutes, it's at least eight to ten minutes.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Well, she thought she'd feel uncomfortable because she didn't isn't talking, and yeah, you know, so uh it's not right.
- 1:30SPEAKER_02: You shouldn't interrupt your game with that.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: I well, I thought it'd be fun for like, hey, I was trying to figure out like ways you could help me cheat, you know.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Like, here's my letters.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: I could text you my letters, and then you could text me back kind of some words.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, that would be good.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: I like that.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: Right, that would have been fun, but no, yeah.
- 1:47SPEAKER_02: Cheating, cheating would be fun.
- 1:48SPEAKER_02: But what if she listened to the podcast?
- 1:51SPEAKER_02: Then she might know you were cheating and then you'd be in trouble and then all that.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: I think I think I think I don't think anybody anybody listens anymore.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: Oh no, listen people.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: I mean, here's the here's on the streets, look at that.
- 2:04SPEAKER_02: They talk to you about it.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: No, this is crazy.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: What this Buzz Sprout thing?
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Like, who are these locations?
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: Somebody from Budapest.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Somebody from Budapest downloaded I forgot how to run.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: Who's like why?
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: What's happening?
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: Why is that happening?
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: Who are these?
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Do you believe Buzz Sprout?
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: Okay, so you're all that so Ohio, California.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: Obviously, that's me.
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: Callaway, New Jersey.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Who's that?
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: Gainesville, Florida, that's you.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: Buffalo, New York.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: I don't know who that is.
- 2:41SPEAKER_02: I don't know if it's me.
- 2:42SPEAKER_02: I don't think it was me, but it might be somebody that I know here.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: In Gainesville, Florida?
- 2:47unknown: Okay.
- 2:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but but when you say Callaway, New Jersey, what did they listen to?
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Well, it might say.
- 2:54SPEAKER_02: But what I'm saying is we should reach out to them and tell them that we need them to like we need to make a call-in show or they need to.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: So what am I supposed to do?
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: Walk around Galloway, New Jersey, saying, like, hey, anybody?
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Like with a sign.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Okay, so here's the other ones.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Downington, Pennsylvania.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Who's that?
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Budapest, no idea.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: Norfolk, Virginia.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: That could be chess, but maybe he's not.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: I don't know how detailed, like, you know, is it an area or an actual Philadelphia?
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: Philadelphia.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: I don't know who's listening to us in Philadelphia.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: War okay.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Here's here's here's one.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Wartha Mazovia.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: What does that even mean?
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Is that a real place?
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: From an imaginary location in another dimension, listening.
- 3:47SPEAKER_02: Well, that means that we gotta keep going.
- 3:50SPEAKER_02: Mozovia.
- 3:52SPEAKER_02: That's not even real.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: Is that real?
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: It says cities.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: Warsaw, Mozovia.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: Where I thought Warsaw was somewhere else.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: Well, there is a Warsaw in Russia.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Or Warsaw, Poland.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Warsaw, yeah, there is someone.
- 4:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: But man, like who are these people?
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: You know, I trailed off there.
- 4:24SPEAKER_02: My mind was was wandering, actually, because yeah, because we got a health inspection today, and and uh those people are so crazy.
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: Like, I wish the world understood what happens in a health inspection.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm I'm sure it's mind-numbing.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: It's mind-numbing, it's so mind-numbing.
- 4:46SPEAKER_02: And then they and then they have to check a like a little box or they have to say something which makes it sound like there's just some horrible thing going on, which isn't happening.
- 4:55SPEAKER_02: Now, I'm not I'm sure that there's restaurants that have bad things, like when I look at a health inspection, which I I like to read health inspections, especially if I'm gonna go.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: I look there, there's one thing that I I mean, there's a couple main things I'm looking at, but my main thing I'm looking at is is about their hand sink because you can find all the time you can find these hand sink.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: Hand sink where you wash your hands, yeah.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, okay.
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: So all the time you can find um it'll say hand sink is blocked, no soap at the hand sink, no hot water at the hand sink.
- 5:29SPEAKER_02: There's items in the hand sink.
- 5:31SPEAKER_02: So when you see that, and that happens a lot, you realize these people don't use their hand sink, they're using the hand sink for storage, right?
- 5:38SPEAKER_02: They don't have hot water, they don't have paper towels, they don't have soap, they they they can't get to the hand sink, right?
- 5:44SPEAKER_02: That's a problem because the most important thing you can do in a kitchen ish wash your hands, soap.
- 5:52SPEAKER_02: You want soap, you want hot water, you want paper towels all the time.
- 5:56SPEAKER_02: But not only have them there, but you want to be able to you and you want people using them, right?
- 6:00SPEAKER_02: So that's the important thing that you have a manager or an owner that's saying, Hey, look, guys, we need to keep our hands very clean.
- 6:06SPEAKER_02: You left the kitchen, you touched your face, whatever, you're washing your hands.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: But how wait, the other thing is obviously this is good, this is good hack life hacks.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: How do you you said, oh, I like to read where do you read it?
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Like, how does any double handle?
- 6:19SPEAKER_02: All that information is public information.
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: You can look up uh public the health department in your in your county or your state or your city or whatever, and you can look up all the restaurants' most recent health inspections.
- 6:31SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 6:34SPEAKER_02: Can I see your most recent health inspection?
- 6:36SPEAKER_02: They're supposed to be able to give it to you.
- 6:38SPEAKER_02: That's supposed to happen.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 6:39SPEAKER_02: But but I've never done that.
- 6:41SPEAKER_02: But our newspaper, our local paper will will say, you know, most recent health inspections, and then and they'll publish them.
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: And I and I would try to read that article, but usually it's behind a paywall.
- 6:51SPEAKER_02: But sometimes they I can read that article.
- 6:54SPEAKER_02: But like it, you can if you if you if you go on to the website, like my local health inspections, and you find out where they are, the website, you just you know, uh what do you say, bookmark it, and then you can say, what are the restaurants I want to go to?
- 7:09SPEAKER_02: Like, what is their health?
- 7:10SPEAKER_02: The other thing you're looking for is just food temperature.
- 7:13SPEAKER_02: Like, okay, their shrimp is at 56 degrees.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: That's not good.
- 7:17SPEAKER_02: It should be a 42 or lower.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: How would I know what they're what am I taking a thermometer with me?
- 7:23SPEAKER_02: No, but the the health inspection is gonna say they had food out of temp.
- 7:28SPEAKER_02: They had shrimp at 56.
- 7:29SPEAKER_02: It's all in the their butter, their butter was on the counter.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, okay, I don't care about that.
- 7:35SPEAKER_02: But the shrimp I would care about, or the chicken's out of temp, or what like you can see what's obviously bad, and then there's a bunch of bullshit that they put in.
- 7:43SPEAKER_02: It makes me so mad.
- 7:45SPEAKER_02: I was just fixing to write, I'm just fixing to write the health inspector now an email.
- 7:50SPEAKER_02: Okay, because I got that today.
- 7:51SPEAKER_02: I got when I when they were there today, I was like, hey, send me the email, not just the office.
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: I want to get the email with the health inspection that you just wrote.
- 7:58SPEAKER_02: And so then I can write them both back and say, hey, look.
