- 3:21Speaker 4: Good morning.
- 3:22Speaker 5: I'm happy to be here.
- 3:23Speaker 2: And as always, our pet of the week's picture posted
- 3:26Speaker 2: at Dave Allen Radio on Facebook, also the WCS network
- 3:30Speaker 2: Facebook page and Dave Allen on x Angie tell us
- 3:33Speaker 2: about Promanty.
- 3:35Speaker 5: So Premanty I actually arrived to Kseyha yesterday. If you
- 3:39Speaker 5: haven't seen her picture yet, definitely go to the Facebook
- 3:41Speaker 5: page and check that out. She's a gorgeous calico cat.
- 3:45Speaker 5: She's already stayed about two years old and from her
- 3:48Speaker 5: personality that we've seen, you know in a day's time,
- 3:51Speaker 5: she's very sweet, very docile, so would likely fit into
- 3:55Speaker 5: most any home environment.
- 3:57Speaker 2: She's a good looking cat. Now, you know, sometimes I
- 3:59Speaker 2: have to ask you about the names. You and Ryan
- 4:01Speaker 2: have to help me out. But Premanty, I know that's
- 4:03Speaker 2: Pittsburgh right there.
- 4:05Speaker 5: Yeah. So I got back from Pittsburgh yesterday from a
- 4:09Speaker 5: weekend trip, long weekend trip, and I said, you know what,
- 4:12Speaker 5: we're doing a Pittsburgh theme. So she is with there's Yinzer,
- 4:16Speaker 5: there is Warhol, mister Roger. So there's a whole theme
- 4:22Speaker 5: going on with.
- 4:23Speaker 2: The one named Dukeine. I think too, right, Yes, Ken,
- 4:27Speaker 2: you got to got to get all the pit now anymore.
- 4:29Speaker 2: I mean, I can help you with that. I can
- 4:30Speaker 2: get the sports stuff if you need, like Bradshaw or
- 4:32Speaker 2: anything like that, I can. I can help you with that.
- 4:34Speaker 2: But Bremandy is a great looking cat. And again we
- 4:37Speaker 2: get to picture post of Dave Allen Radio on Facebook,
- 4:40Speaker 2: the WHS network Facebook page and Dave Allen on AX.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Now I want to go over a couple other things
- 4:47Speaker 2: with you. We all remember Hennessy, the dog that survived
- 4:51Speaker 2: the crash on sixty four that tragically took the life
- 4:54Speaker 2: of his human and through the power of social media
- 4:57Speaker 2: being used for once the right way, able to get
- 5:01Speaker 2: Hennessy back with the rest of the family in Iowa,
- 5:02Speaker 2: and you've get some stuff posted on your social media.
- 5:04Speaker 2: You got a visit from the family, another another visit.
- 5:08Speaker 5: We actually did get another visit. They had to come
- 5:11Speaker 5: back to Charleston to discuss some things, you know, on
- 5:15Speaker 5: the behalf of their loved one that passed away. And
- 5:18Speaker 5: they stopped by k C h A to say hi
- 5:21Speaker 5: and let us see Hennessy. But they also adopted another
- 5:25Speaker 5: family member. They adopted a puppy, a little friend for Hennessy,
- 5:29Speaker 5: and they are calling her Charlie to be.
- 5:32Speaker 6: Short for Charleston.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Now how cool is that? I mean, I mean, you know,
- 5:37Speaker 2: trying to make the best out of a bad situation.
- 5:40Speaker 2: And again, if I'm sure everybody's familiar with the story,
- 5:43Speaker 2: but a few weeks back, there was a horrific tractor
- 5:46Speaker 2: trailer accident on I sixty four. Gentleman driving was from Iowa.
- 5:50Speaker 2: He had his dog Hennessy with him. He was killed
- 5:52Speaker 2: in the crash. Some good Samaritans try, you know, they
- 5:57Speaker 2: tried to do what they could for the guy, but
- 5:59Speaker 2: it was those two for him. They fought fire and
- 6:01Speaker 2: everything risk getting bit to get Hennessy out of the vehicle. No,
- 6:07Speaker 2: I mean, you weren't able. I mean, he had tags on,
- 6:09Speaker 2: but if I remember correctly, they just wasn't working for
- 6:12Speaker 2: some reason. So they were able to put it on
- 6:15Speaker 2: social media. And I've been on you know, my big
- 6:17Speaker 2: rants against social media here as of late. But this
- 6:20Speaker 2: is one time, Angie, when it was used for good
- 6:22Speaker 2: and we were able to get Hennessy's family coming in
- 6:26Speaker 2: from Iowa. They had to take care of some things
- 6:27Speaker 2: sadly with the estate anyway, and they were able to
- 6:30Speaker 2: get Hennessy back, and then they had to come back.
- 6:32Speaker 2: They bring Hennessy with them and while they're here, they
- 6:34Speaker 2: adopt the dog named after Charleston.
- 6:36Speaker 4: They call it Charlie.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I mean, that's it doesn't get much better than that.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Out of a bad situation, oh absolutely.
- 6:43Speaker 5: And the a very sad event did take place. It occurred. However,
- 6:48Speaker 5: it has given us a wonderful relationship with these people,
- 6:53Speaker 5: some of the kindest people we've met, you know, being
- 6:56Speaker 5: part of Casey h A. And they also had mentioned
- 7:00Speaker 5: that they were so blown away by the kindness of
- 7:02Speaker 5: everyone in this area, in the Charleston area and how
- 7:06Speaker 5: they have handled things. So they were also disgusting that
- 7:10Speaker 5: they possibly would like to move to Charleston, West Virginia,
- 7:15Speaker 5: and and you know, just because of how what a
- 7:18Speaker 5: strong community we have here, So.
- 7:20Speaker 2: We'll we'll have him eat in tutors and pepperoni roles.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Before you know it here exactly, we had a text
- 7:26Speaker 2: here asking if Hennessy was with them, Yes, Hennessy was
- 7:28Speaker 2: with them when they came when they came back, and
- 7:30Speaker 2: if so, did he remember everyone at the shelter. He
- 7:33Speaker 2: looked pretty happy in the picture he had posted on
- 7:34Speaker 2: your Facebook page.
- 7:36Speaker 5: Uh, yes, Hennessy. So there is one specific staff member
- 7:39Speaker 5: that was taking care of her when she was with us,
- 7:42Speaker 5: because she was so scared and shut down, we tried
- 7:44Speaker 5: to limit the amount of strangers that she's having to
- 7:46Speaker 5: come into contact with daily. And the one person that
- 7:50Speaker 5: was mostly taking care of her while she was with us,
- 7:52Speaker 5: she immediately remembered, gave her kisses, was so excited to
- 7:55Speaker 5: see her. So Hennessy did remember and was in a
- 8:01Speaker 5: way excited to be back and see her people.
- 8:03Speaker 2: So indeed, how we're looking on the numbers, Angie.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Numbers are high as always. We're still we can't seem
- 8:10Speaker 5: to get under five hundred animals in our care, which
- 8:13Speaker 5: is a watch. So that we are running out of
- 8:16Speaker 5: supplies very very quickly. So any type of Purina Channel
- 8:20Speaker 5: products are always needed, blankets, tail sheets used is great,
- 8:24Speaker 5: and then any type of cleaning supply is also greatly,
- 8:27Speaker 5: greatly appreciated.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Now you are asking on your Facebook page for someone
- 8:32Speaker 2: to donate an iPad to the shelter. Did you have
- 8:34Speaker 2: any success with that?
- 8:36Speaker 5: Oh? I am blown away by the amount of iPads
- 8:40Speaker 5: that people were willing to donate to our shelter to
- 8:43Speaker 5: help us with day to day activities that we're doing
- 8:46Speaker 5: in the shelter, to make those easier for us. I
- 8:49Speaker 5: think we are at I think we're at six iPads.
- 8:53Speaker 5: And so now every single department, not just our medical team,
- 8:56Speaker 5: every single department has an iPads for their department to
- 9:00Speaker 5: help with day to day functions.
- 9:02Speaker 6: So that is, I mean beyond what we.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Were interest kind of, it's kind of what we do here.
- 9:06Speaker 2: What else are you in need of right now? Do
- 9:07Speaker 2: you need some more iPads? I will start there.
- 9:11Speaker 5: So we we will take donations of iPads. If people
- 9:14Speaker 5: are not using them, absolutely we are you know, covered
- 9:19Speaker 5: in our areas, but it would be great to give
- 9:21Speaker 5: you know, even individual staff members their own iPads as well,
- 9:24Speaker 5: so if there are some out there that don't have
- 9:27Speaker 5: a home, we would love to give them one. But
- 9:30Speaker 5: we are we are covered. If anyone was thinking about
- 9:33Speaker 5: going out and buying a brand new one for.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Us, but you're always, you're always in need of other things.
- 9:37Speaker 2: What's what could you use right now?
- 9:40Speaker 5: So, as I was saying, food is the biggest need,
- 9:43Speaker 5: Purina chowel products. For dry food, we use any brand
- 9:46Speaker 5: of wet food and we go through it very quickly.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Both of those things, very very quickly. And any type
- 9:51Speaker 5: of cleaning product you can think of, whether it be washing, detergent, paper, towels, gloves,
- 9:56Speaker 5: any of that, we will also fly through. And usually
- 10:00Speaker 5: uh so, both of those things or all three of
- 10:03Speaker 5: those things I suppose are the biggest needs for us.
- 10:06Speaker 2: We had a texture and said Walmart has plastic kiddie
- 10:09Speaker 2: pools and gung clearance for six bucks if anyone wants
- 10:12Speaker 2: to get some and take them up there.
- 10:14Speaker 5: Yep, absolutely, we have a little dog bow shaped pools
- 10:19Speaker 5: in our playyard and we can always use more because
- 10:22Speaker 5: the dogs love the pools during the summertime heats.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Who doesn't love the pool I'd like that you bring
- 10:27Speaker 2: me a bone shaped pool in here and I'll sit
- 10:30Speaker 2: in it now as long as you you know, well,
- 10:32Speaker 2: I say, as long as you can bring me some
- 10:33Speaker 2: food and drink. Speaking of which, Kegs for Knines coming up.
- 10:38Speaker 5: Cakes for Canons is coming up here at the end
- 10:40Speaker 5: of August, so it's slowly approaching. Tickets should be available soon,
- 10:46Speaker 5: and I am very excited. I know I say that
- 10:49Speaker 5: every year or every event we're talking about, but Kegs
- 10:51Speaker 5: for Kanons truly is one of my most favorite events
- 10:54Speaker 5: that we do, very laid back. You get to drink
- 10:56Speaker 5: beer and pet dogs.
- 10:57Speaker 2: What I mean, what give you want? You just just
- 11:00Speaker 2: described you know, when I win the lottery. Uh, that's
- 11:03Speaker 2: gonna that's gonna be my my life. Now. Are we
- 11:07Speaker 2: back at Red Carpet again? Or have you liberty to? Okay?
- 11:10Speaker 2: I just wanted I didn't want to like ruin anything
- 11:12Speaker 2: if it was going to be starting to fosted to.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Red Carpet do a great job, and it's a great
- 11:15Speaker 2: facility for it the way that it's set up, because
- 11:18Speaker 2: you got the you know, you got the patio area
- 11:22Speaker 2: out there, tiki bar if you will, and you got indoor,
- 11:25Speaker 2: you got outdoor. It's just a great Facilita, plenty of
- 11:27Speaker 2: parking on the streets of Charleston Round Elizabeth Street and whatnot.
- 11:30Speaker 2: It's just a great place to have it.
- 11:32Speaker 5: Oh yeah, we love our friends at Red Carpet.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Are you guys out anywhere? This weekend?
- 11:37Speaker 5: We will actually be at Dunbar United Methodist Church on
- 11:41Speaker 5: Meyer Street. There is going to be a backpack carnival
- 11:44Speaker 5: for kids that are going back to school. I'm here soon,
- 11:47Speaker 5: so we will be there with some adoptable puppies and
- 11:51Speaker 5: from eleven am to two pm, providing it doesn't get
- 11:54Speaker 5: too hot. If it does get too hot, we'll have
- 11:56Speaker 5: to call it a little early, but we'll be there,
- 12:00Speaker 5: you know, helping make the back to school blues a
- 12:02Speaker 5: little better.
- 12:03Speaker 2: All right, And you appreciated it as always. Have a
- 12:05Speaker 2: great week. We'll talk next Friday.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Thanks a lot, no problem, see you next Friday.
- 12:09Speaker 2: It is Primanty is our pet of the week and beautiful,
- 12:13Speaker 2: beautiful cat and it is. It came out of Angie's
- 12:17Speaker 2: recent trip to Pittsburgh. It's a local cat. Okay, I'm
- 12:20Speaker 2: just saying, not that it matters, but but she named
- 12:23Speaker 2: it after the famed Primanti Brothers restaurant chain up there.
- 12:27Speaker 2: But Formanty is her cat two years old, spade beautiful cat,
- 12:32Speaker 2: up to date on all of her vaccines. I got
- 12:34Speaker 2: her picture posted Dave Allen Radio on Facebook, the w
- 12:37Speaker 2: CHS network Facebook page as well as at Dave A
- 12:41Speaker 2: seventy or Dave Allen on exit. Go check it out.
- 12:43Speaker 2: What a great story though, I mean Hennessy returns to
- 12:47Speaker 2: West Virginia with her with her family, adopts a dog
- 12:53Speaker 2: from from the shelter here in Charles to name the
- 12:56Speaker 2: dog Charlie. And now that people are thinking about moving
- 12:59Speaker 2: to Western because of the kindness that they were showing
- 13:01Speaker 2: people here, that is absolutely cool. Tex says, we need
- 13:05Speaker 2: some events like bow Wow bowling or some softball or
- 13:09Speaker 2: something like that. I will make sure that Angie knows
- 13:12Speaker 2: about it. We do this every Friday morning. It's the

- 16:45Speaker 12: But sometimes they hallucinate. Sometimes they hallucinate. Sometimes they see
- 16:51Speaker 12: things before their eyes that are not the buggers. No,
- 16:53Speaker 12: I don't think his name is strong And yeah, hey,
- 16:57Speaker 12: I'm sitting right here.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Okay, I can hear you.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Whats wrong with you? I mean, I know, I mean,
- 17:06Speaker 2: I know. It's the It's the Mountain's third birthday. How
- 17:08Speaker 2: about that, dude, if you've already started on the stuff,
- 17:11Speaker 2: you know, I mean, uh.
- 17:14Speaker 12: Happy, happy, happy, Keep.
- 17:17Speaker 2: In mind it's going to be a long day, so
- 17:20Speaker 2: keep that in mind.
- 17:21Speaker 13: Wait a second, this is not it. We have the
- 17:23Speaker 13: Levey tonight yet.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Yeah, most of Soder group live on the levee to
- 17:26Speaker 2: Night ninety eight seven, A Mountain, wild and wonderful classic rock.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Steve Animal Who's batting it invisible objects Here in the studio,
- 17:32Speaker 2: Jim Strawn is here, and on the Guarantee Bank hotline,
- 17:35Speaker 2: the guy putting it all together. The Tribute zeppelins John Ingram, John,
- 17:37Speaker 2: Since you're the one that seems to have some sense here.
- 17:40Speaker 2: I'm going to start with you show. Welcome to the show.
- 17:43Speaker 6: John, Hey, thanks for having me.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Guys, you're missing quite a show in here between Strawn
- 17:48Speaker 2: trying to learn how to put on headphones and and
- 17:51Speaker 2: uh an animal batting that imaginary object.
- 17:53Speaker 13: John rescue us, John rescue us.
- 18:00Speaker 2: One percent degree. You know I want to start. John
- 18:04Speaker 2: will start with you with a band like Zeppelin and
- 18:07Speaker 2: it's a tribute tonight, an extensive catalog. How do you
- 18:11Speaker 2: decide which songs you're going to do because you obviously
- 18:14Speaker 2: can't do them all, so I mean, you don't want
- 18:17Speaker 2: to give away too much. But what goes into that decision?
- 18:20Speaker 14: Well, you know, I go into these things with, you know,
- 18:24Speaker 14: having some favors of my own that I just want
- 18:26Speaker 14: to play for selfish reasons, you know. But then I
- 18:28Speaker 14: start talking to all the guests as I'm booking the
- 18:30Speaker 14: show and kind of flashing it all out, and I
- 18:33Speaker 14: start getting their their ideas of what they want to
- 18:36Speaker 14: do some of their favorite songs. Obviously, Robert Plants register
- 18:41Speaker 14: is higher than most, you know, he's way up in
- 18:44Speaker 14: the stratosphere. So it's trying to find keys that work
- 18:46Speaker 14: for people and songs.
- 18:47Speaker 6: That work for people's voices, So you know, it's a
- 18:50Speaker 6: bit of a It can be a challenge sometimes, but
- 18:54Speaker 6: it's part of the fun.
- 18:55Speaker 2: I mean, you're right about that, because Robert Plant is like,
- 18:59Speaker 2: as I love the way you put that John on
- 19:00Speaker 2: another stratosphere. I mean, and not just anybody can you're
- 19:04Speaker 2: you and the group that you put together. We'll talk
- 19:06Speaker 2: about them a little bit. You're fantastic musicians, but with
- 19:09Speaker 2: that voice, not everybody could come in here and hit that.
- 19:11Speaker 6: Man. I mean, oh, it's unbelievable. We're gonna give it
- 19:14Speaker 6: the old Charleston tries. They say, you know, well.
- 19:18Speaker 2: It's gonna be a great night. Tonight starts around six
- 19:19Speaker 2: pint thirty. Tell us about Natalie Brook. That's who's Jim?
- 19:22Speaker 2: Do you want to weigh in on Natalie Brook?
- 19:24Speaker 13: I listened to her a couple of songs this morning.
- 19:26Speaker 13: She's fantastic out of Baltimore, got three. She's a rock
- 19:30Speaker 13: she's a rock star, but she's got the rocker.
- 19:32Speaker 6: She's got some synths sense going on. She's gonna come
- 19:35Speaker 6: out with you know she she's just got the look.
- 19:38Speaker 6: She's got.
- 19:39Speaker 14: She's an incredible virtuosity keyboard player. She'll come out with
- 19:42Speaker 14: a key tars. She'll come out with a synthesizer.
- 19:45Speaker 6: You know.
- 19:45Speaker 14: Her whole band is absolutely ripping. And like Jim said,
- 19:48Speaker 14: she can come from Baltimore and they're touring the country
- 19:50Speaker 14: and I mean really on the on the rise right now.
- 19:53Speaker 15: Man.
- 19:53Speaker 13: They describe her amazingly. Explosive is the word that they
- 19:57Speaker 13: used to describe her. So she comes out of the
- 19:58Speaker 13: gate at six point thirty explosive and it's sixty straight
- 20:02Speaker 13: minutes of high energy.
- 20:03Speaker 2: So I'm right up my alley. Incredibly explosive.
- 20:07Speaker 13: So let us very Hey, hey, John, I was curious too.
- 20:13Speaker 13: I know you got is Abby still coming in with
- 20:15Speaker 13: you tonight? And how many other guest artists are you
- 20:16Speaker 13: going to have with your tribute A band tonight?
- 20:19Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 20:19Speaker 14: Abby, Brian is coming in from Asheville, North Carolina. She's
- 20:23Speaker 14: she'll be our you know, quote unquote headline guest. You know,
- 20:27Speaker 14: but you know we'll have Brian Henderson from the band Byzantine.
- 20:31Speaker 14: You know it's international, you know, metal band, you signed
- 20:36Speaker 14: the international label metal Blade Records, and they're from right
- 20:38Speaker 14: here in West Virginia, Charleston to be exact.
- 20:41Speaker 6: So that's huge.
- 20:43Speaker 14: Brian Henderson is going to be killing tonight.
- 20:45Speaker 11: J C.
- 20:45Speaker 14: Harless who sings with a band called Friendly Fire, and
- 20:49Speaker 14: then Megan Jean from up in Cumberland, Maryland, who is
- 20:52Speaker 14: also She did my Bowie tribute a.
- 20:54Speaker 6: Few years ago.
- 20:55Speaker 14: She's a tremendous voice and when you hear her voice,
- 20:57Speaker 14: I mean it's going to be echoing through the valley.
- 21:00Speaker 13: Remember her and John? With these folks all over the
- 21:03Speaker 13: East Coast, how do you get together and get ready
- 21:06Speaker 13: for tonight?
- 21:08Speaker 6: Very carefully?
- 21:09Speaker 14: We make sure you know, everybody's doing their homework on
- 21:13Speaker 14: their own, and that's kind of part of the crazy
- 21:17Speaker 14: thing about the show is that we get together and
- 21:19Speaker 14: have one giant rehearsal. So we had an eight and
- 21:22Speaker 14: a half hour rehearsal on Wednesday, you know.
- 21:26Speaker 6: Then I went and.
- 21:26Speaker 14: Played Snowshoe and did forty eight forty eight festival yesterday
- 21:29Speaker 14: and came in late late last night, and then we'll
- 21:33Speaker 14: start it all over today and you know, no rest
- 21:36Speaker 14: for the weird.
- 21:37Speaker 13: You need to find something to do in your spare time.
- 21:39Speaker 14: Yeah, really, well, thinking about maybe coming on with you
- 21:42Speaker 14: guys more often?
- 21:44Speaker 4: Oh yeah, absolutely.
- 21:45Speaker 13: We look forward tonight. You know, it's the third anniversary
- 21:47Speaker 13: and the Mountain is going to be their night with
- 21:50Speaker 13: Steve Z celebrating their third anniversary ninety eight point seven.
- 21:54Speaker 13: Steve Where Jack to have you guys there?
- 21:56Speaker 16: Yeah, absolutely, John, It's going to be a fun night

- 22:00Speaker 16: I could have given you my best wait.
- 22:04Speaker 13: Side the job.
- 22:07Speaker 6: Thank you everything we need, John, Good, Thank you.
- 22:10Speaker 15: For not.
- 22:13Speaker 2: John.
- 22:14Speaker 1: John.
- 22:14Speaker 2: The listeners have heard me do this bit before. But
- 22:17Speaker 2: I'll say as my dad used to say about when
- 22:19Speaker 2: I tried to sing that boys sings in the key
- 22:21Speaker 2: of L, and they'd say, well it sounds like L.
- 22:26Speaker 2: All right, but you have the Mountain is celebrating our
- 22:29Speaker 2: anniversary and we got we got some cool stuff going

- 23:56Speaker 13: r c CR. We also in weeks past help Covenant
- 23:59Speaker 13: Havel and Man and Meal the Sojourner Shelter and used
- 24:03Speaker 13: to be Work Sullivan. Now it's called the Canal Valley Collective.
- 24:06Speaker 13: We've raised one hundred and thirty three thousand dollars the
- 24:09Speaker 13: last twenty one plus seasons with our fifty to fifty drawing.
- 24:12Speaker 13: We basically have volunteers going around telling fifty to fifty chances.
- 24:15Speaker 13: We'll do that drawing about nine thirty. But I'm so
- 24:18Speaker 13: pleased to announce every week or and every time I
- 24:20Speaker 13: get an opportunity and from the stage. We've raised one
- 24:23Speaker 13: hundred and thirty three thousand dollars just from folks saying okay,
- 24:25Speaker 13: I'll take a couple of tickets, and we help folks
- 24:27Speaker 13: who might need a bite to eat and a place

- 24:32Speaker 13: all the folks to do that, and all the sponsors
- 24:34Speaker 13: and all the media folks and all the folks that
- 24:37Speaker 13: come down our food vendors. It's just the weather looks
- 24:40Speaker 13: great tonight. It should be really neat. You come down,
- 24:42Speaker 13: you get a bite to eat, get your spirit of beverage.
- 24:44Speaker 13: You stay hirated. I heard you talking last segment about
- 24:46Speaker 13: hydration is the key, So stay hydrated tonight because John,
- 24:51Speaker 13: you were. John's gonna bring a great show beginning at
- 24:54Speaker 13: eight and now he's going to get his crew warmed
- 24:56Speaker 13: up at six thirty. So sound like a pretty rock
- 24:59Speaker 13: and roll, pretty kind of fun.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Night, right, Yeah, exactly, John, I gotta hold on, go ahead,
- 25:03Speaker 2: stay and shockley.
- 25:04Speaker 16: We'll be down there. We have some limited edition We

- 25:11Speaker 16: we've got those. We'll be giving out some Mountain merchants,
- 25:14Speaker 16: some other courts.
- 25:15Speaker 2: We go big when we go out for these publics.
- 25:16Speaker 2: It's going to be a big, big, big night all
- 25:18Speaker 2: right now.
- 25:19Speaker 13: On our birthday today, the third is the birthday, John, John,
- 25:23Speaker 13: you want to we've been a happy birthday to the
- 25:26Speaker 13: Mountain tonight somehow. If you can't, I know you're tie
- 25:28Speaker 13: you on time.
- 25:30Speaker 6: We'll sneak. We'll sneak a little happy birthday. We just
- 25:33Speaker 6: got to listen real close, my garn skippy. We will John.
- 25:37Speaker 2: I want to ask you, and I'll ask the panel
- 25:39Speaker 2: here to uh you talking about how you were picking
- 25:41Speaker 2: out the songs for the Zeppelin tribute tonight. If if
- 25:43Speaker 2: somebody asks you to name your two or three favorite
- 25:47Speaker 2: Zeppe maybe not even necessarily to perform, but just as
- 25:51Speaker 2: as a listener and a fan, give me two or
- 25:53Speaker 2: three Zeppelin songs that are your favorites.
- 25:55Speaker 14: I'll tell you this that the album Houses of the
- 25:58Speaker 14: Holy was like my Desert Island record since the age
- 26:02Speaker 14: of maybe fourteen.
- 26:05Speaker 6: You know.
- 26:05Speaker 14: It was like when I came home from high school
- 26:07Speaker 14: or middle school or whatever I would be, you know,
- 26:09Speaker 14: come straight to my room, plug my basin and jam,
- 26:13Speaker 14: put my CDs, my compact discs.
- 26:15Speaker 6: You guys remember this, and uh.
- 26:21Speaker 14: Is that a dirty word these days? And so I
- 26:24Speaker 14: would jam and so the Houses of the Holy, I mean,
- 26:26Speaker 14: basically top to bottom, it's a perfect album.
- 26:29Speaker 6: So we got a lot of cuts from that one tonight.
- 26:31Speaker 2: All right, animal, if two or three of your favorites,
- 26:35Speaker 2: all of them, well, but I mean there's something that
- 26:36Speaker 2: you like better than other. I mean, even as radio people,
- 26:39Speaker 2: we have that song that we crank up in the studio.
- 26:41Speaker 2: I mean we like all the music we play. But
- 26:43Speaker 2: so yeah, CE.
- 26:45Speaker 16: Four came out. It came out in this brown paper
- 26:47Speaker 16: wrapper thing and in the evening was such a fabulous tune.
- 26:52Speaker 16: It's probably one of my favorites for sure.
- 26:54Speaker 2: So I mean, I'm gonna go with uh, Living Love
- 26:59Speaker 2: and made John. That's one of my favorites, Living Loving Me.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Hot Dog is one. You don't hear a lot of
- 27:05Speaker 2: his little country vibe. I like hot Dog. I like
- 27:07Speaker 2: Misty Mountain, Yes, yes, uh, Misty Mountain hop. I love
- 27:12Speaker 2: that one. Uh but I hey, hey, what can I do? Okay,
- 27:16Speaker 2: that's that's one of my favorites. But it's so simple.
- 27:20Speaker 2: If I had to, if somebody, if aliens came from
- 27:24Speaker 2: outer space and they said, what is rock music?
- 27:27Speaker 14: Do you know what?
- 27:27Speaker 2: I would play him John, I'd play him rock and roll.
- 27:29Speaker 2: By that rock and roll is just such a such
- 27:34Speaker 2: a simple song. It's got like what like, you know,
- 27:37Speaker 2: ten ten words in it or something. I don't know
- 27:39Speaker 2: it's but that's to me, that's it. It's rocker. That's
- 27:43Speaker 2: that one song for me, having done radio for thirty
- 27:45Speaker 2: eight years, that's the one song. When I play it
- 27:48Speaker 2: or if I'm listening to the mountain wherever I am,
- 27:51Speaker 2: I crank it up. That's the song for me. It's
- 27:53Speaker 2: rock and roll. It's simple and straight to the point. John,
- 27:56Speaker 2: that would have been me too. I was going to
- 27:58Speaker 2: say that all right. I was ready. I was ready
- 28:02Speaker 2: with that one. But they did Stairway to Heaven right.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:05Speaker 13: So when as a high schooler in the junior high
- 28:08Speaker 13: guy and they play that last song and he's trying
- 28:11Speaker 13: to find a girlfriend and you're scared to watch across
- 28:13Speaker 13: the gymnas and flour and then you do it. It's like,
- 28:16Speaker 13: this song is long and it's pretty fun and it means.
- 28:18Speaker 2: The Stairway to Heaven as your cording songs.
- 28:21Speaker 13: Well, I loved it. I mean I thought it was
- 28:23Speaker 13: just so neat because I'm not a heavy rocker. But
- 28:25Speaker 13: then that was not heavy rock to me.
- 28:27Speaker 2: So I was like, well it gets heavy. It starts
- 28:29Speaker 2: out not heavy, but it gets there eventually.
- 28:32Speaker 13: That was my courting song.
- 28:33Speaker 15: Did it.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Got a text here? John? I got a text from
- 28:38Speaker 2: my guy's an Amos steel band, Real Little Buddies of Mine.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Uh from a man Doodle and uh he's so, he said,
- 28:44Speaker 2: Doodle says Kashmere talk about Kashmere.
- 28:47Speaker 11: John.
- 28:47Speaker 14: Oh yeah, Well I just got an angry email from
- 28:50Speaker 14: Mike Push and our friend Mike Push, and he said
- 28:52Speaker 14: the hot Dog was not on too, it was on
- 28:55Speaker 14: in through the aug.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Right, correct, He's one wreck. All right, John, I got
- 29:01Speaker 2: to know that I'm pushing. I'm sorry. You absolutely the.
- 29:03Speaker 13: Most state listeners, right they You can't get anything over
- 29:06Speaker 13: on them.
- 29:06Speaker 2: By the way, and all right, John, I have a
- 29:09Speaker 2: question for you from the text on here, then we'll
- 29:11Speaker 2: move on it. So aside from Zeppelin, John, who are
- 29:13Speaker 2: some of your all time favorite artists and influencers of
- 29:16Speaker 2: all time besides Zeppelin?
- 29:19Speaker 6: Man, I'll tell you what I've been.
- 29:20Speaker 14: I've been back on the Credence Clearwater Revival Kick Leley.
- 29:23Speaker 6: Of course, I'm a big.
- 29:24Speaker 14: Jazz head, so I'm you know, I listened to a
- 29:27Speaker 14: ton of jazz and but man, lately I just can't
- 29:31Speaker 14: get enough of Credence. Man. You know, it's like I
- 29:34Speaker 14: feel like maybe they were the American Beatles.
- 29:36Speaker 6: I grow so I don't know, that may be a
- 29:39Speaker 6: hot and they got.
- 29:40Speaker 2: It and they did it all in about three years,
- 29:44Speaker 2: you know, because they were only around for about three
- 29:46Speaker 2: to four years. I mean, their music lives on forever,
- 29:48Speaker 2: but their their their showf life wasn't it's like maybe
- 29:51Speaker 2: sixty nine to seventy two something like that. That's about all.
- 29:54Speaker 2: It's about all they did, but it lives on for.
- 29:55Speaker 6: Every unlike the Beatles really, who weren't together for very
- 29:58Speaker 6: long one.
- 29:59Speaker 13: All right, John, I just want to say this John,
- 30:01Speaker 13: before we let you go. You've been doing this a
- 30:04Speaker 13: number of years for the Moses Auto Group Live on
- 30:07Speaker 13: the Levee. You're very instrumental in helping us put our
- 30:09Speaker 13: schedule together all year. This is one of the fans favorite.
- 30:13Speaker 13: If you folks, if you haven't been down to hear
- 30:15Speaker 13: one of John's tribute, I mean Tom Petty was off
- 30:17Speaker 13: the chain for me Bowie we mentioned earlier. Just so great.
- 30:21Speaker 13: It's just so entertaining, and he brings such a collective
- 30:25Speaker 13: group of amazing stars together. So it's remarkable to see
- 30:29Speaker 13: how he does this. And as he said that.
- 30:31Speaker 12: An eight hour rehearsal on Wednesday, but they're from all
- 30:33Speaker 12: over the parts unknown and they come together on Friday
- 30:36Speaker 12: night down and had Ederver Front Park and it's just spectacular.
- 30:39Speaker 13: And John, I don't know how you do it.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Now.
- 30:41Speaker 13: I'm not a musician. I appreciate music, but thank you
- 30:44Speaker 13: for what you do and I look forward to introducing
- 30:46Speaker 13: you guys tonight.
- 30:47Speaker 2: They started eight o'clock, Dave, yep. The only thing longer
- 30:49Speaker 2: than that rehearsal was the Huntington City Council mateing John.
- 30:52Speaker 2: I know at the four am, but John appreciate just

- 35:56Speaker 20: so it's it's made for your farm. You're hunting your
- 35:59Speaker 20: mighty sort of. Yeah, the uh uh got a winch,
- 36:06Speaker 20: got alomin wheels, nice little set up, three seater in
- 36:10Speaker 20: an actual three seater where people aren't kind of cramped
- 36:13Speaker 20: on each other.
- 36:14Speaker 5: But uh.
- 36:16Speaker 20: This uh but you still you know, they're fun, they're fun.
- 36:20Speaker 20: Twelve thousand. That's it's a twelve thousand some dollars unit MSRP,
- 36:25Speaker 20: so you.
- 36:25Speaker 16: Know, so it's not one of these little jobbers.
- 36:27Speaker 20: No, and plus one thousand bucks in cash, thousand bucks
- 36:30Speaker 20: and might make it there, Yeah, it might make it there.
- 36:32Speaker 2: And if you're coming to live each time back, if
- 36:35Speaker 2: you're having to live on the levee, tonight, we're actually
- 36:37Speaker 2: gonna have the machine I think there tonight.
- 36:39Speaker 4: So yeah, so I'm gonna bring it over.
- 36:41Speaker 20: I'll have it there this evening that way, because we're
- 36:43Speaker 20: going to do some last chance qualifying there tonight right
- 36:46Speaker 20: next to the mountain tent, and then some more last
- 36:48Speaker 20: chance qualifying ten to eleven tomorrow before the giveaway at noon.
- 36:54Speaker 2: It's uh and and again the thing tomorrow is, I
- 36:57Speaker 2: mean we get there early. I mean it's going to
- 36:59Speaker 2: be hot, will have water and things like that. As
- 37:01Speaker 2: I said, food trucks, uh will be there.
- 37:04Speaker 4: Our little grocery store will be over.
- 37:06Speaker 2: You're yeah, you're get a little bit of everything there.
- 37:08Speaker 2: But we want to make sure that people get there
- 37:10Speaker 2: early because it's just a lot of fun. And I
- 37:12Speaker 2: mean it's one of the rare events when all of
- 37:14Speaker 2: our stations are going to be there. So you're going
- 37:16Speaker 2: to have people from the Beat in V one hundred
- 37:18Speaker 2: and uh and and k w S and we're all
- 37:20Speaker 2: going to be there.
- 37:20Speaker 16: And if you haven't been to Trojan Landing Marine and
- 37:23Speaker 16: Power Sports right by the Patrick Street bridge, you walk in,
- 37:26Speaker 16: there's boats, there's motorcycles, there's all sorts of cool stuff.
- 37:29Speaker 16: There's gear, there's you know, presence if.
- 37:32Speaker 20: Kids e bikes, Yeah, I mean, you know, e bike
- 37:34Speaker 20: stuff for big right now for summer.
- 37:36Speaker 4: And they're fun.
- 37:37Speaker 16: You have fun stuff in there, and you know, maybe
- 37:40Speaker 16: there's somebody that's hard to buy a gift for, you know,
- 37:42Speaker 16: so there's really.
- 37:43Speaker 2: The merchandise to the merchandise and it is. It's been
- 37:48Speaker 2: proven with various machines that a lot of times people
- 37:52Speaker 2: like the merchandise and don't even ride the ride the machine.
- 37:54Speaker 20: Yeah yeah, I mean we we carry the name brand
- 37:56Speaker 20: stuff Alpine Stars and uh just roll Infield's official gear
- 38:02Speaker 20: with their name on it.
- 38:03Speaker 4: Uh, you know we we do have.
- 38:05Speaker 20: I mean, as just sitting there thinking, I mean we've
- 38:07Speaker 20: got thousand dollars helmets from Showy, So I mean, you
- 38:11Speaker 20: know we don't we we carry some big name brand stuff.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Talk about Royal Infield for a moment, because I had
- 38:17Speaker 2: you on when you guys introduced that line, and it's
- 38:19Speaker 2: a it's a world renown line. It was kind of
- 38:21Speaker 2: new to this area. I think you talk about the
- 38:23Speaker 2: popularity of Royal Infield.
- 38:24Speaker 20: So just from in alone for us, I mean we're
- 38:28Speaker 20: the we're the fifth biggest store in our region and
- 38:31Speaker 20: we and we go up against stores from Indianapolis, Atlanta, Detroit.
- 38:35Speaker 17: Uh.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Yeah, what is it that makes those machines so special?
- 38:38Speaker 20: It's man, if you know, you walk in and you
- 38:42Speaker 20: you're you look at it and you think, man, I'm
- 38:44Speaker 20: gonna spend six thousand dollars on this bike.
- 38:46Speaker 4: But it's it's a great bike.
- 38:50Speaker 20: I mean you you get a you get a really nice,
- 38:53Speaker 20: well made bike for six seven thousand dollars.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Uh. And I want to go back to the machine
- 38:57Speaker 2: we're giving away because when the segue because animal, I
- 39:01Speaker 2: think brought up a really good point. I am old
- 39:03Speaker 2: enough to remember when I was a kid, had grown up,
- 39:05Speaker 2: everybody had a mini bike.
- 39:06Speaker 6: That was a thing.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Then it was three wheelers, which I think are illegal now,
- 39:11Speaker 2: at least at least the way we had them in
- 39:12Speaker 2: the seventies and eighties.
- 39:13Speaker 4: Oh yeah, you get the forward three wheelers.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Now, and then that was just then. It was the
- 39:17Speaker 2: then four wheelers were a thing. And now I mean
- 39:20Speaker 2: some of these machines, I mean I mean one, one
- 39:25Speaker 2: or two of particular, they were bigger than my first apartment.
- 39:27Speaker 2: I mean these things are like these things are like
- 39:29Speaker 2: one of bagoes. Practice.
- 39:30Speaker 20: Well, we have the segue Supervillain in stock. I mean
- 39:33Speaker 20: that's two hundred and thirty five horse power. I mean,
- 39:35Speaker 20: it's it's a it's a unit. I mean, it's it
- 39:40Speaker 20: gets out, it runs, it's super I mean it's huge.
- 39:43Speaker 20: I mean it's the size of small pickup trucks. But yeah,
- 39:47Speaker 20: you can see you can see all kinds of different
- 39:49Speaker 20: things in our show room.
- 39:51Speaker 2: All right, well again, uh could just kind of review.
- 39:54Speaker 2: We'll be giving this machine away tomorrow plus a thousand
- 39:56Speaker 2: bucks in cash and if you come to live on
- 39:58Speaker 2: the levee tonight helping us enjoy the music of the
- 40:01Speaker 2: led Zeppelin Tribute featuring John Ingram and to celebrate the
- 40:04Speaker 2: Mountain's third birthday, Mountain temp will be set up there
- 40:07Speaker 2: Shockley Animal and we're all going to be there tonight
- 40:10Speaker 2: and you can register or we'll do last chance qualifying
- 40:13Speaker 2: there and tomorrow morning. Plus you can actually see the
- 40:16Speaker 2: machine tonight that we're talking about. And we've got it
- 40:18Speaker 2: by the way, it's posted all over all the stations
- 40:20Speaker 2: if you want to take a look at it there
- 40:22Speaker 2: and then tomorrow get there, be on the lot at
- 40:25Speaker 2: ten am. We'll have you out of there by a
- 40:27Speaker 2: little after twelve o'clock or something like that.
- 40:30Speaker 6: We got the drawing.
- 40:31Speaker 20: Yeah, the drawing. I'll have you out pretty quick if
- 40:33Speaker 20: you're the winner. Okay, And it's a.
- 40:35Speaker 2: It's a big, big parking lot too, so there's plenty.
- 40:39Speaker 20: But you can also park along well Cockle Avenue. I
- 40:42Speaker 20: have a lot of people have been events. Yeah, we've
- 40:44Speaker 20: we've got people that will park at sport Mark with
- 40:47Speaker 20: Corkle Avenue.
- 40:48Speaker 4: I mean they'll walk in, you can walk in.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and all the stations are going to be there.
- 40:53Speaker 2: We'll have merchandise to give away. I hear Woody Woods
- 40:56Speaker 2: is going to be handling the music tomorrow, so that'll
- 40:59Speaker 2: be pretty cool. What are you from? The Beat's going
- 41:01Speaker 2: to be the guy there.
- 41:02Speaker 20: He's Heather, great energy. Heather got the Uh, she's doing
- 41:05Speaker 20: breakfast tomorrow. We're going she's gonna have gravy biscuits, Uh,
- 41:10Speaker 20: perfect hash browns. I mean all kinds of stuff. She's
- 41:14Speaker 20: gonna have a breakfast menu tomorrow is good stuff. So
- 41:17Speaker 20: she's she's excited. I know she was out at the
- 41:20Speaker 20: store earlier this morning, already buying and prepping.
- 41:23Speaker 2: So give us the address again, I mean everybody should
- 41:25Speaker 2: know where it is, but give.
- 41:26Speaker 4: Us the ad dressing.

- 44:50Speaker 2: Somebody said, anybody ever tell you that the guitar riff
- 44:53Speaker 2: bumper this is not this one, this is the one
- 44:55Speaker 2: before That sounds like the monkey's last train to Clarksville.
- 44:58Speaker 2: I never really thought about it. That's actually Molly Hatchett's
- 45:01Speaker 2: Gator Country. I had never really thought about it, but
- 45:04Speaker 2: I guess it does sound a little bit like that.
- 45:06Speaker 2: I guess had another text here. This is an interesting
- 45:10Speaker 2: story that there are some EMUs. Ryan EMUs are loose
- 45:15Speaker 2: in Charleston, in the eastern area of Charleston. They have
- 45:20Speaker 2: been known to walk down Rutledge Road in Campbell's Creek Drive.
- 45:24Speaker 2: So there are some EMUs that are are around Charleston.
- 45:29Speaker 2: It reminds me of the story. Everything reminds me of
- 45:31Speaker 2: the story. Years ago, when I was working at the
- 45:33Speaker 2: radio station in Logan, some people had some pet ostriches
- 45:38Speaker 2: or ostriche I I guess, I don't know. And they
- 45:41Speaker 2: called the station because you know, we did lost pets
- 45:44Speaker 2: on the air. And they called the station and they said,
- 45:47Speaker 2: our ostridge have got out. Our two ostridges have got
- 45:52Speaker 2: out at Mill Creek. And then they proceeded to give
- 45:55Speaker 2: us the description of the ostrich. All they weigh about
- 45:59Speaker 2: so and so and there this color. And I'm thinking,
- 46:01Speaker 2: with all due respect as a pet owner and lover
- 46:03Speaker 2: I am, do you really need to give the description
- 46:07Speaker 2: of the ostrich? I mean, if you're driving even in Logan.
- 46:10Speaker 2: If you're driving around and you see an Ostrich, chances
- 46:14Speaker 2: are that's the ostriche that's the one or two. But anyway,

- 47:16Speaker 2: will stop by with the news TJ Meadows as commentary.
- 47:19Speaker 2: We're going to continue the information about the flock cameras.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Huntington Mayor Patrick Ferrell is going to join us. Of
- 47:25Speaker 2: course he is. I don't say not him personally, but
- 47:29Speaker 2: the city of Huntington has really been in the spotlight.
- 47:31Speaker 2: There are other cities around the state and other municipalities
- 47:34Speaker 2: and governmental agencies that have utilized them, but you know,
- 47:37Speaker 2: this has really taken off as a Huntington story because
- 47:40Speaker 2: they're going to sink a couple of million into these
- 47:43Speaker 2: flock cameras there and the other night, Honey, as I
- 47:46Speaker 2: referenced earlier, Huntington City Council had a seven hour meeting
- 47:50Speaker 2: that ended at about four a m. There were protesters out front,
- 47:53Speaker 2: people not wanting these but in the end, Huntington City Council,
- 47:56Speaker 2: both Republicans and Democrats in the city Council voted to
- 48:00Speaker 2: port the use of flock cameras. And so we're going
- 48:02Speaker 2: to talk to the mayor Patrick Ferrell about that on
- 48:04Speaker 2: the show. And speaking of which, a little closer to home, yesterday,
- 48:09Speaker 2: Putnam County and the Sheriff, Bobby Egleton put out a
- 48:12Speaker 2: statement saying they're putting the brakes on their flock cameras.
- 48:16Speaker 2: So Putnam County Sheriff Bobby Egleton is going to join
- 48:19Speaker 2: me on the show to talk about it. Mark Curtis
- 48:22Speaker 2: will Stop Bias he does every Friday with the political commentary.
- 48:26Speaker 2: Interested to see Mark's take on the president's speech last night.
- 48:30Speaker 2: President spoke nine o'clock last night, only about twenty minutes.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Most people thought it would be longer than that. Speaking
- 48:35Speaker 2: about election irregularities, if you will, and Mark's going to
- 48:41Speaker 2: weigh in on that. Coming up on the show today
- 48:43Speaker 2: and for our lunch Spots segment. This is a feature
- 48:45Speaker 2: we do every Friday spotlighting some great eateries around the
- 48:48Speaker 2: state of West Virginia. Today, we're gonna go to Ravenswood
- 48:50Speaker 2: introduce you to a place called the Dog Pound. I
- 48:53Speaker 2: have not eaten there, but I'm looking forward to talking
- 48:55Speaker 2: to the folks. I think it's the manager we're talking
- 48:58Speaker 2: to on the dog Pound in Ravenswood. Coming up on
- 49:00Speaker 2: the show, Daniel Woods gets you ready for a busy
- 49:02Speaker 2: weekend in sports and of course open line West Virginia
- 49:05Speaker 2: Metro News Midday coming up in noon today Again. Amanda

- 49:33Speaker 2: at Huston's Pizza dot com. And if you need something
- 49:36Speaker 2: else to do, as if you know, Live on the
- 49:39Speaker 2: Levee celebrating the Mountain is not enough tonight and the
- 49:42Speaker 2: music of led Zeppelin, as if the event at Trojan
- 49:44Speaker 2: Landy Marina Power Sports tomorrow at ten is not enough.
- 49:47Speaker 2: Another one of our stations proving that we're everywhere doing
- 49:50Speaker 2: all things for everybody. Superstar Country ninety six to one
- 49:54Speaker 2: KWS is going to be live tonight at Shawnee Sports
- 49:56Speaker 2: Complex where their movie nights. Dot by and say how
- 49:59Speaker 2: to crash. He's a guy you here on Superstar Country
- 50:02Speaker 2: afternoons from three to seven. He'll be out there tonight.
- 50:06Speaker 2: It's free movie Tropy Landing sponsoring that Quantum Party rentals
- 50:10Speaker 2: as well, and the folks at the Shawnee Sports Complex
- 50:13Speaker 2: doing a movie tonight, so stop buy it. Not really
- 50:15Speaker 2: a set start time, it's just when it gets dark
- 50:18Speaker 2: enough to start the movie. Okay, it's it's a dusk
- 50:20Speaker 2: as they say with Superstar Country KWS tonight, Tex says Dave,
- 50:25Speaker 2: do you guys at the station think you might ever
- 50:26Speaker 2: do an event at the shelter like you do for
- 50:29Speaker 2: socks and snacks for kids? Maybe have it on a
- 50:31Speaker 2: Friday to keep up the theme of the Adopt Me
- 50:33Speaker 2: Please put it the week just thought. Not a bad idea,
- 50:36Speaker 2: not a bad idea of Chris. We are heavily involved
- 50:38Speaker 2: with kegs for Canines and that's coming up at the
- 50:40Speaker 2: toward the end of August, and the Mountain is a
- 50:44Speaker 2: really really big part of that event over at the
- 50:46Speaker 2: Red Carpet Lounge. So I would will certainly entertain any ideas.
- 50:53Speaker 2: I will say that, and so kegs for Canine's always
- 50:56Speaker 2: a big event. We look forward to that as well.
- 50:58Speaker 2: You know, at the end of August, says only Fox
- 51:00Speaker 2: and CBS aired the speech last night. Yeah, as far
- 51:02Speaker 2: as the networks go, I do believe you are correct
- 51:05Speaker 2: on that. And one point, President Trump, I did not
- 51:08Speaker 2: watch the speech. Don't read too much into that other
- 51:11Speaker 2: than the fact that it's at nine o'clock and I'm
- 51:14Speaker 2: usually out by nine o'clock. But I think he did
- 51:17Speaker 2: called out a couple of the other networks, NBC and ABC,
- 51:21Speaker 2: said that they should have their license revokes for not
- 51:24Speaker 2: airing the speech last night. You know, presidential speeches, Wilson
- 51:28Speaker 2: talked about this a little bit yesterday aren't nearly the
- 51:30Speaker 2: big deal that they used to be, simply because they're
- 51:32Speaker 2: available everywhere now. You know, you can watch them on YouTube,
- 51:36Speaker 2: you can watch them on all the streaming devices. So
- 51:38Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm gonna give them a little I kind
- 51:41Speaker 2: of understand that, to be honest with you, because they're
- 51:43Speaker 2: just available and the White House has their own pages
- 51:45Speaker 2: as well. So all right, we'll get into that a
- 51:47Speaker 2: little bit more coming up on Metro News midday today,
- 51:50Speaker 2: No Amanda Baron, just me flying the ship solo coming
- 51:53Speaker 2: up at noon today. Senior producer Ryan Nicholson, thank you
- 51:55Speaker 2: so much. We'll see it live on the Levy tonight
- 51:57Speaker 2: featuring the music of Zeppelin, John Ingram Handling all that
- 52:00Speaker 2: will see a Trojan landing tomorrow morning at ten am.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Happy birthday to our sister station place I call home
- 52:07Speaker 2: every Sunday noon to seven ninety eight seven A mouth
- 52:09Speaker 2: in wild, a wonderful classic groard. I got a ton
- 52:11Speaker 2: of cool pictures posted right now on the Mountain Facebook page.
- 52:14Speaker 2: See you later today and at those two big events.
- 52:17Speaker 2: Until later, have fun and love somebody at Sam ninty
- 52:34Speaker 2: six point five.
- 52:35Speaker 1: That's internal stick one oh four point five Cross Lanks
- 52:37Speaker 1: on WVRC Media Station. We're proud to live here too,
