Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables, you have to go in with
- 0:03Speaker 1: the mindset of that maybe he might not want me.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's that's okay. I think rejecting therapy is
- 0:10Speaker 2: a good thing, exactly. It's not. It's not an attack
- 0:13Speaker 2: on you or there's nothing wrong with you. It's literally
- 0:16Speaker 2: that like wrong timing or just you don't click. It's
- 0:19Speaker 2: not an attack on anything. Like I think a lot
- 0:21Speaker 2: of people think, like, what's wrong with me? Why doesn't
- 0:22Speaker 2: any boy love me or any girl love me. It's
- 0:25Speaker 2: not an attack on you at all. It's just like
- 0:26Speaker 2: you don't connect in the same way exactly.
- 0:40Speaker 1: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Jake Craig aka
- 0:44Speaker 1: the law Racks, and my partner like aka Mummy. Some
- 0:52Speaker 1: of you might know Jake as Daddy, but Daddy not
- 0:55Speaker 1: many of us. So I was scrolling on Instagram, you
- 1:03Speaker 1: know when you scroll past your following feed and it
- 1:06Speaker 1: just is like kind of like a four you feed
- 1:08Speaker 1: now pretty much. I was on there and like, I'm
- 1:11Speaker 1: assuming that it was an account run by dudes. Yeah,
- 1:16Speaker 1: and it was one of those ones where it's like
- 1:17Speaker 1: a little fucking like the little lad Bible up in
- 1:19Speaker 1: the corner and it's like study show when she makes
- 1:24Speaker 1: the first move, it's like eighty percent of couples where
- 1:28Speaker 1: she makes the first move and in marriage or something
- 1:30Speaker 1: like that.
- 1:30Speaker 3: One of those bullshit And I was like, yeah, right, okay,
- 1:33Speaker 3: of of course.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I was like, whatever, let's just try and chick girls
- 1:38Speaker 2: in the message.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I was like, this is account right, this is this
- 1:40Speaker 1: accounts run by dudes.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Yeah, they're just trying to give fucking people to message guys.
- 1:46Speaker 1: But it made us think. We thought we would give
- 1:49Speaker 1: you guys tips on how to text him first, randomly
- 1:55Speaker 1: out of the blue. So I'm gonna go first, go
- 1:58Speaker 1: for it, hit him, Hit him with is your middle name?
- 2:04Speaker 1: And then insert a name right, any name, just after
- 2:08Speaker 1: you want to care what you choose Mitchell, and he's
- 2:10Speaker 1: very likely going to say no, because how are you
- 2:12Speaker 1: supposed to guess his middle name? And then you can say, oh,
- 2:15Speaker 1: that's weird, I dreamt last night that it was. Oh,
- 2:18Speaker 1: that's actually kind of good.
- 2:19Speaker 2: It's intricate.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I don't mind.
- 2:21Speaker 2: That makes you think, And then that would start a
- 2:24Speaker 2: conversation about why you're dreaming about.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Exactly you're in there admitting that you're dreaming about him.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I would take the bait if I got that one hundred,
- 2:31Speaker 2: I would take the bata instantly. No one's guessing my
- 2:33Speaker 2: middle name either, I wouldn't even know.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Yeah, good point. Also, no one's going to guess mine
- 2:38Speaker 1: because it spelled roight. Yeah, my spelt wrong. But yeah,
- 2:41Speaker 1: so that one is. I think that would work.
- 2:43Speaker 2: I think that would work too. So how to text
- 2:45Speaker 2: him first? Randomly?
- 2:47Speaker 1: Bold? But I think this would work?
- 2:49Speaker 2: Okay, straight up voice message, Oh, I fully agree with that,
- 2:53Speaker 2: like nothing by just saying like I could not agree more. Yeah,
- 2:56Speaker 2: what are you saying on the voice pasages though I
- 2:58Speaker 2: didn't get no, told me you didn't get that far.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I was going I say, like, you've got it. This
- 3:01Speaker 1: is all you do. You're supposed to be help with
- 3:02Speaker 1: the girls.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I think people would think that's too bold.
- 3:06Speaker 2: So I've helped him out a little bit. I'm thinking
- 3:07Speaker 2: that some funny mate, like, Hey, I'm actually I thought
- 3:12Speaker 2: you were cute when I go on a date.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Okay, you could do you know the start of all
- 3:17Speaker 1: the shows of like the Bachelor, like all those reality
- 3:20Speaker 1: TV shows, A lot of like the dating ones, and
- 3:24Speaker 1: how it's like they'll intro the girl getting out of
- 3:27Speaker 1: the vehicle and as she's walking up the red carpet
- 3:29Speaker 1: into the house to first meet the bachelor, there's a
- 3:32Speaker 1: video of her soul, just her on her talking about
- 3:34Speaker 1: herself and who she is and stuff like that. So
- 3:36Speaker 1: you could just send him a voice message saying like
- 3:39Speaker 1: who you are, what you do and see if that works.
- 3:43Speaker 2: This is giving hinge actually thinking about it, hinge do that.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I didn't think about this. Maybe nah, just like a
- 3:48Speaker 2: cool voice message, just like to show your personality, like
- 3:51Speaker 2: maybe just but what about like, hey, I'm as special skill,
- 3:53Speaker 2: like went to the beach today, what do you get
- 3:57Speaker 2: up to?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Or you could voice message and say is your middle name?
- 4:02Speaker 1: So see what they do. If you can think of
- 4:05Speaker 1: a good voice message, it could work. And here's the
- 4:07Speaker 1: thing is if you're if you're game enough or bold enough,
- 4:10Speaker 1: like you say to do that, I reckon you know
- 4:14Speaker 1: straight away whether or not it's going to be good
- 4:16Speaker 1: if they send a voice message back. But if they don't,
- 4:18Speaker 1: you should Just.
- 4:19Speaker 2: My thinking is it gets rid of all this like
- 4:21Speaker 2: bullshit text thing. You don't know what they're actually saying,
- 4:23Speaker 2: when they have sarcasm, when they're actually funny, when they're smiling,
- 4:25Speaker 2: Like you can hear someone's voice when they're enjoying talking
- 4:27Speaker 2: to you. That's what my thinking is, So it could work.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I love voice messages because.
- 4:32Speaker 1: It's one more thing you know about the person. It's
- 4:35Speaker 1: like you can figure out, you know, stuff for via text. Yes, yeah,
- 4:39Speaker 1: but one thing I love is like you figure out
- 4:41Speaker 1: what their voice sounds like.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Well, my best tip for people going on a first
- 4:45Speaker 2: date is you should FaceTime them beforehand once. I think
- 4:48Speaker 2: face times bold nah, just because you get their vibe, sona,
- 4:53Speaker 2: what they sound like before the dates. You know what
- 4:55Speaker 2: you're in for.
- 4:56Speaker 1: And it's sort of like alleviates.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Any nerves first date nerves and you what you're getting
- 5:00Speaker 2: a little bit and just helps the situation. Let's use
- 5:02Speaker 2: technology to advantage man fair what if you like true
- 5:06Speaker 2: imagine like you got yourself a catfish in your face time,
- 5:08Speaker 2: like oh shit, and then you're like, well, I'm looking
- 5:12Speaker 2: on the date anymore.
- 5:13Speaker 1: How do you think of a way to get out
- 5:14Speaker 1: of it? I mean, I've used your tactic once before,
- 5:17Speaker 1: back when I was single, like ages and ages ago.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I remember I had like organized fully organized a date. Yeah,
- 5:24Speaker 1: and then I think you said you were like Coler, Yeah, Coller,
- 5:29Speaker 1: find out what she's like. And I was like, fuck,
- 5:31Speaker 1: I guess, but so I called her and I just
- 5:35Speaker 1: got fucked vibes. It's got fucked up vibes. Like I
- 5:41Speaker 1: was like thinking, I'm not driving all that way for
- 5:45Speaker 1: that beautiful girl. I'm sure. I'm sure she's a beautiful girl.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Maybe it's not good, but I didn't give her the
- 5:50Speaker 1: benefit of the doubt because what if she was nervous?
- 5:52Speaker 2: Yeah, we let her head wind.
- 5:53Speaker 1: And I'll tell you what. I canceled that date and
- 5:55Speaker 1: I didn't go on it. Maybe this is tough.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Maybe Okay.
- 6:04Speaker 1: My next one text him randomly, so how to text him? First? Randomly?
- 6:08Speaker 1: Say to him, my friend bet me that I didn't
- 6:12Speaker 1: have the guts to message the cutest guy. I follow right,
- 6:15Speaker 1: and then followed up instantly with thanks for existing, because
- 6:19Speaker 1: in my opinion, it looks like I won. Oh that's good.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Did you think about yourself? Yeah, that's smooth, that's smooth.
- 6:26Speaker 2: We do find out that any girls listening, if you
- 6:29Speaker 2: want a damn a dude, it doesn't matter what you say. Yeah,
- 6:32Speaker 2: if he thinks you're pretty, he's gonna recipitate. What's going on?
- 6:35Speaker 1: I mean to be fair, it goes both ways. Like
- 6:38Speaker 1: if you're a dude that has shit chat, yeah, but
- 6:41Speaker 1: the girl looks at your you're thinking like oh yeah,
- 6:45Speaker 1: like yeah, yeah yeah, like you know, it doesn't matter
- 6:47Speaker 1: fucking like that, it doesn't matter what you say. And
- 6:51Speaker 1: it goes the same way like if you message your
- 6:52Speaker 1: going and he's like, oh yeah, I've been waiting for this,
- 6:54Speaker 1: Like you could say anything and you could be like
- 6:56Speaker 1: you'd be like, I don't know. I fought fucking all
- 6:58Speaker 1: the time.
- 7:01Speaker 2: How to text him? First? Randomly, I reckon, this is great, Okay, okay,
- 7:05Speaker 2: why are you so handsome? It's a question and you're
- 7:11Speaker 2: saying he's handsome. I really like that because it's not
- 7:15Speaker 2: just the statement, so we can reply and be like
- 7:16Speaker 2: oh yeah just Cabins naturally is like oh I can't
- 7:18Speaker 2: help it. My mom and dad gave it to me.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I really really, And then I was like.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Why you know what I'd say, I'd be like, how
- 7:25Speaker 1: about you? Like, i'd so you send the message. I
- 7:28Speaker 1: would say, look, why are you so handsome? Wit? Don't
- 7:30Speaker 1: say I look better in person? Fuck? She won't re bine,
- 7:34Speaker 1: I reckon, you should say, I'll tell you but first
- 7:38Speaker 1: you have to tell me why you're so pretty?
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yeah, don't say I look even better in person, I
- 7:44Speaker 2: look in my bedroom lighting.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Oie or you know, you know what you should say?
- 7:50Speaker 1: You could this could be funny, is so she says,
- 7:52Speaker 1: you say to a guy, why are you so handsome?
- 7:55Speaker 1: And then and then you could just be like if
- 7:58Speaker 1: you're basing this off my instagram just with lighting, that's
- 8:01Speaker 1: kind of like to be like, oh, I'm a catfish.
- 8:02Speaker 2: But then she's want to know true because you see,
- 8:05Speaker 2: it's kind of works.
- 8:06Speaker 1: It is a good one.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that is a good one.
- 8:07Speaker 1: That's we're giving guys responses to say that to fuck Okay,
- 8:11Speaker 1: this one's intricate. Okay, I'm here for it. Okay, how
- 8:16Speaker 1: to text him? First? Randomly? Stick around? So stick around
- 8:21Speaker 1: with this, okay, send him a photo of something that
- 8:26Speaker 1: you are planning on wearing on a night out, instantly
- 8:29Speaker 1: followed up with should I wear this? Question mark, and
- 8:33Speaker 1: then immediately again followed up with sorry, wrong person. And
- 8:37Speaker 1: that's all you say, Like, you don't say that's so embarrassing,
- 8:39Speaker 1: just say sorry, wrong person. And then one more message.
- 8:42Speaker 1: While I'm here, I may as well get your opinion too.
- 8:49Speaker 2: I don't know really, like it would work if I
- 8:51Speaker 2: thought she was pretty, But like that's bold, that's real bold.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Not as bold as sending a voice message. No, like
- 9:00Speaker 1: you got this.
- 9:01Speaker 2: You got this like dress and something put on the
- 9:03Speaker 2: bed and you're like, what do you think?
- 9:05Speaker 1: No, No, you're in it. You're wearing the outfit you say.
- 9:07Speaker 1: It's as if you're trying to send a your friend.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Yeah, But then the second message was the second one
- 9:12Speaker 2: saying what do you think? So, yeah, you're wearing You
- 9:14Speaker 2: send the first this photo, yeah, and then you send
- 9:17Speaker 2: another message saying what do you think?
- 9:19Speaker 1: Yeah? Do you still think you're messaging the friends? Because
- 9:21Speaker 1: that's too consecutive. He'll probably think she seems dumb because
- 9:23Speaker 1: she didn't pick up on the fact that, like you're
- 9:26Speaker 1: trying to say that we think you're a man, don't
- 9:30Speaker 1: try and go out here that we're looking into details
- 9:32Speaker 1: of things.
- 9:32Speaker 2: I'm saying no to that one.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Really, I don't reckon that One's that good?
- 9:35Speaker 2: Too bold, too bold? Right, that's like the classic like
- 9:39Speaker 2: you'd used to go on snapchat send someone to like
- 9:40Speaker 2: a picture of Oh sorry, wrong person. Now I'm here,
- 9:42Speaker 2: like what are you up to this weekend?
- 9:44Speaker 1: That's the same concept.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Okay, how to text him? First randomly you go name
- 9:52Speaker 2: so Jake, and then capitals Jake, and then capital's exclamation
- 9:57Speaker 2: markets make Jake, and then just sorry, I had to
- 9:58Speaker 2: get your attention.
- 10:01Speaker 1: That's actually a good first message. Yeah, I think that
- 10:03Speaker 1: would work. I think it would do. And then do
- 10:05Speaker 1: you but do you say that? And do you wait
- 10:07Speaker 1: for like say, say someone's messaging me, and do you
- 10:09Speaker 1: wait for me to reply and then say, oh sorry?
- 10:12Speaker 2: I was thinking all three of them in one go,
- 10:14Speaker 2: So like j j Jake, Capital's xmation XM sorry, I
- 10:17Speaker 2: just had to get your attention, and then you wait
- 10:20Speaker 2: for a reply, yeah, and then see what he does. Okay,
- 10:22Speaker 2: that work, I would I think it would work both
- 10:24Speaker 2: ways too, because you could do Jake, Jake, Jake, all
- 10:26Speaker 2: the different messages one's caps and then like explanation marks and.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Then you wait for them to be like what that's
- 10:32Speaker 1: a dud?
- 10:32Speaker 2: Why is this chicking?
- 10:33Speaker 1: What? Yeah? And if you here's the things, you know
- 10:35Speaker 1: he's got good answer. If he goes, ah, don't yell
- 10:37Speaker 1: at me, you're like sorry, how to get your attention?
- 10:39Speaker 1: Like you know you're that's already. That's good Actually that's
- 10:42Speaker 1: good chat. Like, all you're doing with the first message
- 10:46Speaker 1: is finding out if they have a fucking sense of humor, right,
- 10:50Speaker 1: if they've got a soul? Yeah, exactly, if they have
- 10:53Speaker 1: a brain. Literally, Okay, I got one more?
- 10:56Speaker 2: So do why?
- 10:58Speaker 1: How to text him first? Random? Now? I'm pretty confident
- 11:03Speaker 1: this will work on me, But let me know what
- 11:05Speaker 1: you think. It's time to stop fucking around and just
- 11:09Speaker 1: to ask me on a date already? I like that.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Yeah, very bold, but I like it. But I also
- 11:14Speaker 2: we both like not betting around the bush.
- 11:17Speaker 1: True, we're both the type that's like, don't fucking message
- 11:20Speaker 1: me for like a month and then want to go
- 11:21Speaker 1: on a date.
- 11:22Speaker 2: You might as well find out and not waste each
- 11:24Speaker 2: other's time straight up with the first message. Times important?
- 11:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree, also because I don't know, I just
- 11:29Speaker 1: don't not a fan of texting neither my last one.
- 11:33Speaker 1: How to text him first? Randomly?
- 11:35Speaker 2: Send a funny TikTok like that everyone finds funny, Yeah,
- 11:38Speaker 2: and then go So I just wanted to skip a
- 11:40Speaker 2: few steps.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Oh I like that one, and you guys are sending
- 11:45Speaker 1: each other fucking TikTok's and reels already.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Hopefully he gets it. You got it, So I'm thinking
- 11:50Speaker 2: everyone would get it.
- 11:51Speaker 1: What's that supposed to mean?
- 11:54Speaker 2: I actually wasn't meanted.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Oh no, that's good. I like that.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I like that one.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Ah shit, Okay, well that's ammunition if I've ever seen it,
- 12:09Speaker 1: I said, like, and again, I want to reiterate the
- 12:12Speaker 1: fact that it's like, think about if you've got a
- 12:17Speaker 1: message from a guy that you wanted to message you,
- 12:19Speaker 1: no matter what he says, unless he's saying like send nudes, Like,
- 12:22Speaker 1: no matter what he says, you're gonna reply if you
- 12:26Speaker 1: think he's attractive, If you think's attractive, and so like,
- 12:28Speaker 1: you just have to go into all these thinking with yourself.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Like also just like you have to go in with
- 12:34Speaker 1: the mindset of that maybe he might not want me.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's that's okay. I think rejection therapy is
- 12:41Speaker 2: a good thing.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 12:43Speaker 2: It's not. It's not an attack on you or there's
- 12:44Speaker 2: nothing wrong with you. It's literally that like wrong timing
- 12:48Speaker 2: or just you don't click. Yeah, it's not an attack
- 12:50Speaker 2: on anything. Like I think a lot of people think, like,
- 12:52Speaker 2: what's wrong with me? Why doesn't any boy love me
- 12:54Speaker 2: or any girl love me? It's not an attack on
- 12:56Speaker 2: you at all. It's just like you don't connect in
- 12:58Speaker 2: the same way exactly.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Okay, guys, it's dilemmas.
- 13:08Speaker 1: If you want to submit a dilemma in the description
- 13:11Speaker 1: of this episode or in our the Lincoln, our Instagram buyer,
- 13:15Speaker 1: you'll find it. Submit it's all anonymous. Okay, quick rundown
- 13:20Speaker 1: lads was seeing someone for five months, still hadn't asked
- 13:25Speaker 1: me to be his girlfriend, even though he kept telling me.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Soon in quotations, came to the fifth month, felt like
- 13:33Speaker 1: things were a little off, hadn't slept together for over
- 13:36Speaker 1: a week, like odd, how to chat? Asked if everything
- 13:41Speaker 1: is okay? He responded with yes. I wanted this, so yes,
- 13:46Speaker 1: I want this one hundred percent. I was gonna ask
- 13:49Speaker 1: you to be my girlfriend in Bali in two weeks. Also,
- 13:54Speaker 1: when we get back, would you move into my place? Shit?
- 13:58Speaker 1: Days later, I seen Hinge on his phone, asked him
- 14:03Speaker 1: the next day, full denied it, said that's not what
- 14:07Speaker 1: you saw, and I don't have time to talk to people.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I said, okay, sorry, I'm just in my head, you know,
- 14:14Speaker 1: anxiety and stuff. Castle the fuck moved on from that
- 14:19Speaker 1: two days later, had a huge gut feeling, so I
- 14:24Speaker 1: downloaded Hinge, made a fake profile, found him straight away,
- 14:30Speaker 1: matched and sent a message. He replied a couple of
- 14:34Speaker 1: hours later. So seeing him the next day, pulled him,
- 14:39Speaker 1: was like, hey, you know you said you're not on
- 14:42Speaker 1: the apps. Well you are because you matched with one
- 14:46Speaker 1: of my girlfriends. He said, oh really, then said, please
- 14:50Speaker 1: look at my phone. I've got nothing on here. I said,
- 14:53Speaker 1: I don't need you to justify anything, and I don't
- 14:56Speaker 1: want to see your phone. He went on, and I
- 15:00Speaker 1: I said, I have evidence of your chat. He then said,
- 15:04Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. I was feeling a bit on edge.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I feel like you're always upset with me and my
- 15:09Speaker 1: ex was like that, but she would hurt and throw
- 15:13Speaker 1: things at me. I said, I'd like to think I'm
- 15:16Speaker 1: nothing like your ex. He said absolutely not. I said, yeah, well,
- 15:21Speaker 1: well that's your issue and me getting annoyed. We're all
- 15:24Speaker 1: valid reasons. I said, how am I supposed to trust
- 15:27Speaker 1: you again? He goes, the balls in your court, you
- 15:30Speaker 1: can decide lol. I said, I'm getting my stuff and going.
- 15:35Speaker 1: He goes, I really hope this isn't the last time
- 15:38Speaker 1: I see you. Well, what that's crazy?
- 15:43Speaker 2: Hey, Well, what's her dilemma. Is there more there's basically like,
- 15:49Speaker 2: that's what's happened to her, that's what's happened. And I
- 15:51Speaker 2: sent you a photo of what he exit her.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, I'm here. This is him
- 15:57Speaker 1: to her. Yeah, I'm here. If you need to talk.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I just thought I would give you some space. Apologies again,
- 16:03Speaker 1: I never meant to upset you.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Okay, so leave it on that, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 16:08Speaker 1: We want to give our advice first.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Basically, normally in dilemmas, it's maybe like what do
- 16:13Speaker 2: I do, and it's hard to decipher what to do.
- 16:16Speaker 2: It's very clear what to do here. But I thought
- 16:18Speaker 2: it was a great indication of how to catch someone
- 16:23Speaker 2: out when they're not treating you very well.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I like the way she called him yeah, yeah, Well
- 16:30Speaker 1: she had a good feeling and it worked.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, trust your gut, and she used her
- 16:35Speaker 2: girlypop investigative skills, which every girl has. But I also
- 16:40Speaker 2: hated the fucking the fact that we also found out
- 16:42Speaker 2: how much he was guest lighting her, like that, just the.
- 16:45Speaker 1: What you saw and then like you made me feel
- 16:47Speaker 1: like my ex bringing up an x yeah, so yeah,
- 16:50Speaker 1: comparing her to your ex so tracked crazy.
- 16:54Speaker 2: So this dilemma is obviously very very clear what to do.
- 16:58Speaker 2: But I think it was like a good one to
- 17:01Speaker 2: hear because you also need to like catch yourself sometimes
- 17:04Speaker 2: out when you've got like a you're in a bad situation,
- 17:07Speaker 2: and like put him in his place. Yeah, so we
- 17:10Speaker 2: have a text message.
- 17:11Speaker 1: What she said. Read it? Yeah, what she sent him
- 17:13Speaker 1: is long, but I think she had a good response.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Okay, I won't say his name, no, but his name
- 17:19Speaker 2: is the classic name of a guy who would do.
- 17:21Speaker 1: This facts bro. So after that message he sent her, yeah,
- 17:26Speaker 1: she said, honestly insert name. I really don't know what
- 17:30Speaker 1: to say to you. Apart from the fact you told
- 17:32Speaker 1: me to trust you, and so I did. I feel
- 17:36Speaker 1: this has been absolute poor effort and respect on your behalf.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I thought, out of all people, you weren't like that
- 17:44Speaker 1: because of what happened to you, But I guess that
- 17:46Speaker 1: doesn't matter. If you've been cheated slash lied to in
- 17:49Speaker 1: the past. You say you hate how people go behind
- 17:53Speaker 1: each other's backs, cheat, lie, whatever, and you are literally
- 17:58Speaker 1: the exact same person trying to hide it from me.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Maybe you can finally realize why people do it as
- 18:05Speaker 1: you couldn't seem to be honest and tried to hide
- 18:07Speaker 1: it from me. I really thought you were something special
- 18:10Speaker 1: and you made me so happy. Believe it or not.
- 18:13Speaker 1: If you never meant to upset me in quotes, you
- 18:16Speaker 1: would have never done it. Actions speak louder than words
- 18:20Speaker 1: in certain name. Again, I wish you nothing but the
- 18:22Speaker 1: best and hope you find what you are really looking for. Oh,
- 18:26Speaker 1: I don't wish him the best. I can't like her response. Bro, sure, yeah,
- 18:31Speaker 1: puts him in his place, but still nice. Yeah, No,
- 18:34Speaker 1: that's a good response because he's really questioning like who
- 18:37Speaker 1: he is as a person. Let's wait, let's shadow the
- 18:42Speaker 1: male ego. Yeah, fucking know.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I thought it was a great dilemma just to like
- 18:48Speaker 2: on these podcasts, we live in our own little bubble
- 18:51Speaker 2: of like nice people, yes, and we sometimes struggle to
- 18:54Speaker 2: a This is like a good indication of the dating
- 18:57Speaker 2: world out there, and like some people.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Don't treat you as humans.
- 19:01Speaker 2: No, And it's good to catch people out like this
- 19:04Speaker 2: and put him in their place.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I think I always find it funny as well, like
- 19:09Speaker 1: he was obviously very scanned to get cheated on it.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Sounds like he's been cheated on in the past, poor guy,
- 19:12Speaker 1: fuck it. But and so he talks about that a
- 19:15Speaker 1: lot is in like you know, she's probably says like
- 19:17Speaker 1: trust is a huge thing for me, Like yeah, like
- 19:19Speaker 1: I have trusted serves and stuff. So I wonder like
- 19:23Speaker 1: when he says those things if he genuinely believes it.
- 19:25Speaker 1: And then when he's on the apps, like he doesn't
- 19:28Speaker 1: feel a thing about it, Like is he just like
- 19:30Speaker 1: fucked in the head or do you reckon? He like
- 19:32Speaker 1: really knows what he's doing, Like is he is he
- 19:34Speaker 1: manipulating you with the whole I've been cheated on, I
- 19:37Speaker 1: need trust in my relationship type thing, and then just
- 19:39Speaker 1: goes and does it.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Like what do you think guys? Well, most guys, do
- 19:43Speaker 2: you reckon? They know what girls want to hear and
- 19:47Speaker 2: say it they do obviously, well yeah, some do, and
- 19:50Speaker 2: then they don't act on it, like actions do speak
- 19:52Speaker 2: later than words. But like, do you reckon? Like do
- 19:53Speaker 2: you know how all these people, all these guys don't
- 19:55Speaker 2: take girls on dates, don't open the door from them,
- 19:57Speaker 2: do you reckon? They know all these things, but they constantly
- 19:59Speaker 2: choose just not to dorm and like he's consciously chose
- 20:03Speaker 2: to tell her what she wants to hear, obviously, and
- 20:06Speaker 2: in the background he's not doing it. I don't think
- 20:08Speaker 2: that's what dudes do. That is what must be what
- 20:10Speaker 2: they do.
- 20:11Speaker 1: I mean it has to be because anyone who knows
- 20:13Speaker 1: how to talk is smart enough to know that what
- 20:16Speaker 1: they're doing is wrong. Yeah, Like you can't genuinely like
- 20:20Speaker 1: they must be. Yeah, they must just be fucking super
- 20:23Speaker 1: narcissistic and super selfish. I think they are super selfish.
- 20:26Speaker 1: It comes down to like being mature. Yeah, and like
- 20:29Speaker 1: some never grow out of it.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Man, but some people don't like realize the impact of
- 20:34Speaker 2: their actions on other people's lives and emotions. Like this
- 20:36Speaker 2: chick's obviously starting to fall heead of a heel. So
- 20:38Speaker 2: this guy, oh yeah, and he's.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Just like, oh yeah, I doesn't know, chick, I get
- 20:41Speaker 1: to have sex with Itah. My sister watches a show,
- 20:48Speaker 1: proper reality TV show, like these guys fucking are real
- 20:52Speaker 1: human beings. Yeah, off camera they are like this really,
- 20:56Speaker 1: it's called vander Pump Rules. Oh my god, it's the
- 21:02Speaker 1: hardest thing to watch in this fucking whole planet. Bro,
- 21:05Speaker 1: you just forget people like that. E. I don't even
- 21:07Speaker 1: want to begin to explain to you what it's like,
- 21:09Speaker 1: but I just want everyone out there, if you know
- 21:11Speaker 1: what Vonderpunt Rules is, or if you if you have
- 21:15Speaker 1: time and feel like watching Vonda Punt Rules, just go
- 21:17Speaker 1: watch an episode. You're not gonna believe what you see. Really,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I reckon you. Just go fuck it watch, just sit
- 21:23Speaker 1: through an episode, and you're gonna be like, holy fuck,
- 21:25Speaker 1: I can't believe these people exist. Yeah. Well, that's the
- 21:27Speaker 1: same thing with this guy. I can't believe people like
- 21:29Speaker 1: that exist.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Ah.
- 21:31Speaker 1: God, I feel terrible for this girl. I think she
- 21:32Speaker 1: did a really good thing. Like she doesn't need our help. No, No,
- 21:34Speaker 1: she's be ture enough to leave straight away. Didn't let
- 21:36Speaker 1: him gas lighter. I think this gave him the benefit
- 21:38Speaker 1: of the doubt. This is a good dilemma to highlight
- 21:40Speaker 1: how to act in this situation.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Yeah, because this situation would happen more than yeah, more
- 21:45Speaker 3: than a handful of times in the world. It'd be reliable,
- 21:50Speaker 3: So be like our dilemma, sender. Yeah, yeah, just fucking
- 21:55Speaker 3: shatter is eager make him believe he is what he
- 21:59Speaker 3: doesn't want to be.
- 22:08Speaker 2: All right, Jake often on the potty. We got to
- 22:10Speaker 2: think about topics and ideas for the pod that are relatable. Yes,
- 22:15Speaker 2: And sometimes I scratch my head. I'm like, funck, what
- 22:17Speaker 2: do these people want to hear? What is relatable?
- 22:19Speaker 1: And I was thinking to myself the other day, I
- 22:21Speaker 1: was just like, I'm always tired, an't I was.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Thinking about ideas. I'm like, I'm always tired. In the
- 22:25Speaker 2: after afternoon, I'm like, what's I.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Was thinking, like, what's relatable?
- 22:28Speaker 2: What do people want to hear? I'm like, but why
- 22:30Speaker 2: are we always so tired?
- 22:31Speaker 1: Yeah? Okay?
- 22:32Speaker 2: And everyone always tells you like, oh, you're doing your
- 22:34Speaker 2: phone too much, Like all we parents are.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Like that can't be it, that can't be. That can't
- 22:38Speaker 1: be the only thing that makes you. Yeah, like you're
- 22:40Speaker 1: going your phone too much.
- 22:41Speaker 2: So I've got why are we so tired? And it's
- 22:45Speaker 2: a very new study and it made a lot of
- 22:47Speaker 2: sense to me. So this is in reference to the
- 22:51Speaker 2: Paris Brain Institute Johnny Harris video. If you want more details,
- 22:55Speaker 2: I like that Paris Brain Institute sounds smart. Yeah yeah yeah,
- 22:58Speaker 2: start off starts some fact. But I actually really like
- 23:01Speaker 2: these conversations because they're very smart and boring videos. But
- 23:05Speaker 2: they're dumb down, like we dumb them down to a
- 23:06Speaker 2: conversation yeah, anyone else would have with their friends. So
- 23:09Speaker 2: I think the information is way easy to digest coming
- 23:11Speaker 2: from us, and.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Like you're never going to fucking go look up at
- 23:13Speaker 1: ted talk or something and then talk about it.
- 23:19Speaker 2: So I feel like the older we get, the afternoon slumps,
- 23:24Speaker 2: get like way more tired and tired, and they start
- 23:27Speaker 2: to hit.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Us way harder.
- 23:29Speaker 2: So it actually starts with the things we do throughout
- 23:32Speaker 2: the day, which makes a lot of sense. And on
- 23:35Speaker 2: this potty we love to reference like primitive state and
- 23:38Speaker 2: back in the caveman times, so let's start there. So
- 23:42Speaker 2: everything from the world has changed so much from caveman
- 23:45Speaker 2: times until now, but you know it stayed the same
- 23:50Speaker 2: our brain, Yeah, boy, have stayed relatively the exact same
- 23:55Speaker 2: from caveman to now. Yeah, but think about how much
- 23:57Speaker 2: the world's changed. So let's explo playing what I mean
- 24:00Speaker 2: a little bit. So inside the brain, the prefrontal cortex
- 24:04Speaker 2: is the part of the brain used for decision making.
- 24:08Speaker 2: So a caveman, for example, his day would consist of
- 24:11Speaker 2: waking up deciding where he not wants to have some berries,
- 24:14Speaker 2: awesome meat, and then he would go pick his axe
- 24:17Speaker 2: or his spear and go hunt. And that would be
- 24:19Speaker 2: about the decision making as much as he does. Oh shit, okay, yeah,
- 24:23Speaker 2: that's all he got, fair good. He wouldn't have many
- 24:25Speaker 2: decisions to make at all.
- 24:26Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, that makes sense. Yeah, like fuck all.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Okay, And so his prefrontal cortex isn't pinging at all.
- 24:32Speaker 2: This is he's very relaxed.
- 24:33Speaker 1: He's been nice.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Yeah, his brain's just chilling.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Does anxiety exist, Yeah, So let's.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Transport to like the nineteen hundreds, right, yeah, there's let's
- 24:42Speaker 2: go into a day of like a normal factory worker.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Yep.
- 24:45Speaker 2: He'd wake up, he choose between bread and fruit. He'd
- 24:48Speaker 2: go to work and work at a factory, do a
- 24:50Speaker 2: monotonous task, and same old thing like painting, the same thing.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Wouldn't be making too many decisions. He'd come home and
- 24:57Speaker 2: he wouldn't take work back to his family, make a
- 25:00Speaker 2: couple of decisions. His prefrontal cortex would be pinging here
- 25:03Speaker 2: and there. But at the end of the day, he's
- 25:04Speaker 2: pretty fine. Yeah, a little bit tire, a little bit stressed,
- 25:07Speaker 2: but yeah, eagle labor easy to recover, right, yep. But
- 25:11Speaker 2: Let's take that cave man's brain, which is still our brain,
- 25:14Speaker 2: and put him in twenty twenty four. Right, So our day,
- 25:17Speaker 2: we wake up, go on our phone, check you liked
- 25:20Speaker 2: our thing? Snapchat? See who's texted me back. Then we'll
- 25:22Speaker 2: go buy something one line, and then we'll go pick food.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Which food we want to get? We want pories? Do
- 25:27Speaker 2: we want cereal? Do we want fucking avocado toast? Do
- 25:29Speaker 2: we want post egg?
- 25:31Speaker 1: Checking bank account?
- 25:33Speaker 2: Literally, there's so many decisions to be made, So by
- 25:36Speaker 2: nine o'clock in the morning, we've already made like one
- 25:38Speaker 2: hundred decisions, which are complex, important decisions.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Yep.
- 25:42Speaker 2: So our prefrontal cortex is going absolutely wild. And they
- 25:46Speaker 2: estimate we make up to thirty five thousand decisions a day,
- 25:50Speaker 2: and two thousand of them decisions are about food alone.
- 25:54Speaker 2: What Yeah, which is crazy? I love food, Yeah exactly,
- 25:58Speaker 2: There's so many choices. Now, whoa food alone?
- 26:02Speaker 1: But like, why are we so tired?
- 26:05Speaker 2: That's what we all want to know, And like we're
- 26:07Speaker 2: not obviously getting chased by bears or anything like these
- 26:09Speaker 2: cave men are, But it's a different type of tiredness.
- 26:12Speaker 2: It's like a mental fatigue. So here's the answer. It's
- 26:15Speaker 2: a complex problem, but a very simple solution that I
- 26:18Speaker 2: know you're gonna love.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Ah.
- 26:21Speaker 2: So, when we make decisions, there's these electrical signals, like
- 26:24Speaker 2: a pulse, traveling along these wires called neurons in our brain.
- 26:28Speaker 2: It's like a little spiderweb going on in there. There's
- 26:30Speaker 2: like one hundred billion of them making a giant network.
- 26:34Speaker 2: But in order to send these chemicals to each other,
- 26:36Speaker 2: you need a very important chemical called glutamate. It's a
- 26:40Speaker 2: neurotransmitter that helps everyone talk to each other. But after
- 26:45Speaker 2: you make these decisions, do you know what happens to
- 26:47Speaker 2: the glutamate? It no, the opposite. Actually, the glutamate stays
- 26:52Speaker 2: around and clogs all these systems, making decision making getting
- 26:57Speaker 2: a lot harder and makes you feel this time fatigue
- 27:00Speaker 2: in your brain. Oh so you obviously you feel tired.
- 27:05Speaker 2: So how do you beat this afternoon slump?
- 27:07Speaker 1: Nap?
- 27:08Speaker 2: I love it, you've answered it and nap. And I've
- 27:12Speaker 2: always been against naps just because you're told. Everyone's told
- 27:16Speaker 2: like grind, grind, grind, sleeps for the sleep when you're dad.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Yeah, la la la la lah.
- 27:20Speaker 2: But there's actually a lot of science behind afternoon siestas.
- 27:24Speaker 1: I'll tell you what, mate, Yes the guy, Yeah, yes,
- 27:27Speaker 1: the guy.
- 27:28Speaker 2: So anyone out there who can have an afternoon nap,
- 27:31Speaker 2: This resets the glutenan stores and they go back and
- 27:33Speaker 2: you can come up fresher. But a lot of people
- 27:36Speaker 2: can't nap.
- 27:36Speaker 1: No. True.
- 27:37Speaker 2: So the simple solution is to limit your decision making
- 27:41Speaker 2: throughout the day. Oh okay, So it's as simple as
- 27:46Speaker 2: this is. A lot of successful people will actually do it.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Meal prep throughout the week, yep. Don't have to have
- 27:51Speaker 2: any decisions about food, no yeah, oh yeah, true, there's
- 27:53Speaker 2: already decisions gone, two thousand gone. Pick your outfits on
- 27:58Speaker 2: the Sunday. And that's why you see all like the
- 28:00Speaker 2: Jeff Bezos, everyone wears the same clothes.
- 28:03Speaker 1: You know what's crazy is I've been thinking, like, hey,
- 28:07Speaker 1: we're lucky, and we've been getting sent lots of stuff. Yeah,
- 28:09Speaker 1: and so I chucked out lots of stuff and then
- 28:11Speaker 1: I've refilled my wardrobe via getting sent stuff, which is
- 28:14Speaker 1: like fucking awesome. I love it. But honestly, with so
- 28:17Speaker 1: many options, I have so many options, and I want
- 28:20Speaker 1: to I just want to buy like five of the
- 28:23Speaker 1: same T shirt, five of the same jumpers, five of
- 28:26Speaker 1: the same pants and wear the same thing every day.
- 28:28Speaker 2: It sounds like it must be nice, but that's so relatable.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Everyone has so many outfixed the pick and we're wasting
- 28:33Speaker 2: out energy on all these like on mundane things. Yeah,
- 28:36Speaker 2: which made so much sense to me. So finally, obviously,
- 28:41Speaker 2: obviously you need really good sleep. And there's a couple
- 28:43Speaker 2: of points they thought were very interesting. Most people know,
- 28:46Speaker 2: but I'll say them anyway. So you need good sleep
- 28:49Speaker 2: obviously to clear all the toxins to build up throughout
- 28:51Speaker 2: the day, and most people before they go to bed
- 28:53Speaker 2: jump on Netflix, where they make more decisions. I can
- 28:58Speaker 2: never pick a TV show, but then all so we
- 29:00Speaker 2: mistake the TV screen as sun, which blocks our melatonin,
- 29:04Speaker 2: which is responsible from shifting our brains from wakefulness to sleep.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Yep. So it's very good to read, but overall, I.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Feel like most people always say, like, you go on
- 29:14Speaker 2: your phone too much, blah blah blah blah, But realistically
- 29:18Speaker 2: I feel like it's a much bigger problem with this
- 29:20Speaker 2: evolutional mismatch from our brain not developing and everything around
- 29:25Speaker 2: us developing so much that we can't keep up and
- 29:28Speaker 2: it causes this fatigue. And for me, I thought that
- 29:31Speaker 2: was really relatable because I've shifted my day to day
- 29:34Speaker 2: life from being outside and maintaining gardens. They're spending a
- 29:37Speaker 2: lot of time in front of a computer and making
- 29:40Speaker 2: it a lot of decisions with my mind. I feel
- 29:42Speaker 2: like everyone's job is getting paid to make decisions, and
- 29:45Speaker 2: they take all those decisions home with them and it's
- 29:47Speaker 2: hard to turn off.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Fuck bro, good point. When as you were saying that,
- 29:52Speaker 1: I was thinking, like, you know what, like when we're
- 29:55Speaker 1: sitting there editing, or if someone's at work and they
- 29:58Speaker 1: send a lot of emails or they just do in
- 30:00Speaker 1: their job and stuff like like if you if you
- 30:02Speaker 1: priced building jobs, or if you fucking most secretariat at
- 30:05Speaker 1: law firm, like those jobs are mental. Now, Yeah, like
- 30:08Speaker 1: thinking like in our instance, like I can straight away
- 30:10Speaker 1: think of all the decisions I'm making while editing. Yeah,
- 30:13Speaker 1: that won't be good in this that way, I'm going
- 30:14Speaker 1: to take that. I need to rearrange this.
- 30:16Speaker 2: And while we're doing that relatable our phones buzzing and
- 30:19Speaker 2: people wanting us to make decisions about other things going on.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Yeah, sign this contract? Do you want to do this
- 30:23Speaker 1: video for this company? Which is whatever? Is lucky but
- 30:26Speaker 1: you know, and then yeah, you think about.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Like yo, and I'm way more like it sounds like
- 30:30Speaker 2: I don't know, maybe it sounds like we're preaching to
- 30:33Speaker 2: the choir, but like I'm way more tired doing this
- 30:36Speaker 2: with a mental strain than being like a gardener.
- 30:39Speaker 1: You know what's wild is I've I agree, but I've
- 30:41Speaker 1: never wanted to voice it. Yeah, neither I feel I
- 30:44Speaker 1: feel because I feel like I shouldn't. I feel like
- 30:47Speaker 1: I shouldn't be like like I for some reason, I'm
- 30:50Speaker 1: also way more tired doing what we're doing when I
- 30:53Speaker 1: was relatable before.
- 30:54Speaker 2: The people in corporate job is making all these decisions.
- 30:56Speaker 2: They're in an office all day and then they come
- 30:58Speaker 2: home to tradey husband and he's like, fuck them, Like
- 31:00Speaker 2: what pros some buttons all dough? Yes, but literally it
- 31:04Speaker 2: is it's this new mental fatigue, which I think is
- 31:06Speaker 2: a lot more fatiguing than the physical demands that jobs
- 31:09Speaker 2: used to be. And as soon as they come home
- 31:11Speaker 2: they can turn off. They don't have to think about
- 31:12Speaker 2: fucking the wood they're going to cut tomorrow.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Do that? Fuck bro, Okay, this is good. This is
- 31:17Speaker 1: something to think about. Yeah, something about So if you're
- 31:20Speaker 1: it's just more steps that you can take. So it's like,
- 31:22Speaker 1: if you're constantly tired, you know, instead of going to
- 31:24Speaker 1: a doctor, you can start to think about, like, oh, well,
- 31:26Speaker 1: how many decision decisions am I making in a day?
- 31:28Speaker 1: Like I'm making a fuck time. If you're one of
- 31:30Speaker 1: those people that likes to be of different meal every
- 31:32Speaker 1: single meal, that sucks because that's a lot of decisions.
- 31:36Speaker 1: You might be making four thousand decisions on food.
- 31:38Speaker 2: And it's sort of like it made me think, like
- 31:40Speaker 2: cutting out all the decisions I have in my life
- 31:42Speaker 2: which aren't important, like I easily do food, would I
- 31:45Speaker 2: address like the things I just scroll on TikTok and
- 31:48Speaker 2: make decisions even when I go on Safari or something,
- 31:50Speaker 2: I'm looking for things and making decisions which websites the best,
- 31:52Speaker 2: like things like that. It's so simple. And the study
- 31:55Speaker 2: actually went into the effects of caffeine how that impacts
- 31:58Speaker 2: your tiredness, but I left that out because.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Well, I like caffeine a lot, like I like coffee
- 32:04Speaker 1: a lot. One thing I've learned about caffeine is that
- 32:07Speaker 1: it doesn't actually make you. It doesn't give you energy,
- 32:11Speaker 1: it blocks tiredness. Yeah, that's exactly what the study said. Shit, yeah,
- 32:15Speaker 1: you know what's funny is I mean I could drink
- 32:17Speaker 1: a coffee before bed and for asleep. I'm pretty certain
- 32:21Speaker 1: I have some sort of ADHD.
- 32:23Speaker 2: And he also goes into like you fall asleep being
- 32:24Speaker 2: not really sleeping.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Yes, because that's why, Like I've always thought like I
- 32:28Speaker 1: could have caffeine up until whenever I want, But I
- 32:30Speaker 1: don't have any caffeine until like at two pm. I'll
- 32:33Speaker 1: drink a coffee. No more caffeine after that, because I
- 32:36Speaker 1: do know that. Yeah, I can fall asleep, but is
- 32:38Speaker 1: my brain really sleeping? Yeah, your body's not actually resetting.
- 32:42Speaker 1: That's so interesting, man.
- 32:44Speaker 2: I thought it was very just decisions and relatable.
- 32:47Speaker 1: It was a very new study.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's new information and it also it's I
- 32:52Speaker 2: think that it's relatable for us. Like people think I
- 32:54Speaker 2: can't complain about my job because that's fucking I'm in
- 32:56Speaker 2: an office all day.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like I'm sitting down all day. I do
- 32:58Speaker 1: a chill job. But it's this new mental fatigue that
- 33:01Speaker 1: people don't even know that exists. Yeah, yeah, that interesting. Interesting.
- 33:04Speaker 1: I want to know how they figure out what a
- 33:05Speaker 1: fucking glued to mean? Is what do you do to
- 33:09Speaker 1: figure it out out?
- 33:12Speaker 2: But interesting, that's one of our this is a new
- 33:14Speaker 2: thing we come to with.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I think we've done I think we've done stuff like
- 33:18Speaker 1: this before where we call it relatables university. Yeah, we've
- 33:20Speaker 1: done something before, were like, let's still a relatable university segment.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Who was an under relatible university?
- 33:27Speaker 1: Thirty thousand dollars give it to us the intro textbook. Yeah,
- 33:31Speaker 1: how to piss man off? Yeah, one hundred and nine
- 33:33Speaker 1: things to say, just shatter the male ego.
- 33:35Speaker 2: This is how we end the university.
- 33:37Speaker 1: This is how we ended the podcast last episode, how
- 33:40Speaker 1: we're going to end it every episode. This one is quote,
- 33:43Speaker 1: you're like the male Amy Schumer. I don't know what
- 33:47Speaker 1: that is. I mean, I don't mind if we don't know.
- 33:50Speaker 1: He says a little blur up here. I'm not sure
- 33:53Speaker 1: what exactly Amy Schumer did to elicit such omnipresent rage,
- 33:58Speaker 1: but the male psyche he is to be allergic to
- 34:01Speaker 1: the very mention of her. I found this one to
- 34:04Speaker 1: be nearly successful one hundred percent of the time. When
- 34:08Speaker 1: he asks you why you said this, say, oh, it's
- 34:11Speaker 1: just like, I don't know. Something about your energy reminds
- 34:13Speaker 1: me of her. Okay, be helpful if we knew who
- 34:16Speaker 1: she was. Yeah, I mean I know who she is
- 34:18Speaker 1: and I am not gonna lie. Pisses me off, So
- 34:22Speaker 1: this would be a good one on me, like the
- 34:23Speaker 1: male Amy Schumer be like, because when I think of
- 34:26Speaker 1: Amy Schumer, like she's probably super talented, right, but I'm
- 34:29Speaker 1: always like, why the fuck is she famous? This one
- 34:31Speaker 1: goes over my head. Yeah, maybe you'll get the next one.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Everybody, thank you for listening. You know what to do?
- 34:38Speaker 1: Facebook group? Five star? Oh yeah, five star Facebook group.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Do everything.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Patreon. We got an extra episode every week, which is
- 34:44Speaker 2: an hour long. There's probably some more stuff you can
- 34:46Speaker 2: do just support us, but we love that.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Lovely bye.
