- 0:07Speaker 1: From carrying each other to and Natty to carrying each other.
- 0:11Speaker 3: On the air, there's brought control.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Live from the Raising Caine Studio.
- 0:19Speaker 3: It's off the bench, all right, welcome back here off
- 1:20Speaker 3: the beach.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Tuesday morning, we got these beautiful yellow.
- 1:23Speaker 5: Panels from Community Still. Tuesday show got to you by
- 1:25Speaker 5: Community Steel.
- 1:27Speaker 6: That was a great intro.
- 1:28Speaker 4: I nailed that. I told you I have the energy levels.
- 1:33Speaker 7: You know, we could do a little deal where we
- 1:38Speaker 7: just go segment by segment.
- 1:40Speaker 4: You host two Oh ham an egg he can you
- 1:47Speaker 4: pull up that video? People really get him in, can't. Yeah.
- 1:53Speaker 4: I had did some pretty cool stuff this weekend at
- 1:56Speaker 4: the NASCAR.
- 1:57Speaker 7: At the NASCAR, that sounded it's so unofficial at the NASCAR.
- 2:02Speaker 5: Yeah, I almost said at the NASCAR race. I just didn't.
- 2:05Speaker 5: I just said at the NASCAR. So I wanted to,
- 2:07Speaker 5: you can say, tad, I wanted to It's not Talladega,
- 2:10Speaker 5: it's Dega, Okay. I went to all right, big so
- 2:16Speaker 5: two and a half mile track. Someone told me this.
- 2:19Speaker 5: I did not fact check this, but they said the
- 2:22Speaker 5: infields five hundred acres.
- 2:25Speaker 6: But we forgot about Nick under Hill.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Ye Nick coming out?
- 2:28Speaker 6: Well, keep going and keep going.
- 2:30Speaker 3: We got to the next segment.
- 2:32Speaker 8: All right, we're talking about nothing even really happened to
- 2:35Speaker 8: recap anyway.
- 2:38Speaker 4: We can talk about Daga. No, keep going. I lost
- 2:42Speaker 4: my train thought.
- 2:43Speaker 6: I'm so sorry.
- 2:44Speaker 7: You're talking about all the great things that you got
- 2:45Speaker 7: to do.
- 2:46Speaker 5: I was talking about how big Talladega was. I know,
- 2:48Speaker 5: it's gigantic. Have you has anybody been been to a
- 2:51Speaker 5: NASCAR mat?
- 2:52Speaker 9: You?
- 2:52Speaker 7: Have you been to Daga. That's the only one that happened.
- 2:54Speaker 4: It is so big.
- 2:56Speaker 10: Yeah, And so I didn't even go doaring like the
- 2:57Speaker 10: actual Talladega went to an event there.
- 3:02Speaker 5: So the they say that the infield is five hundred acres,
- 3:07Speaker 5: there's two and a half miles around it.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Now.
- 3:08Speaker 5: I don't know if I believe that that's a lot
- 3:10Speaker 5: of acres, but that's what somebody told me. I was
- 3:13Speaker 5: on a trip with a lot of my ex Green
- 3:16Speaker 5: Bay buddies. Yep, so a lot of packers. We got together.
- 3:18Speaker 5: We get we try to get together like once every year.
- 3:20Speaker 5: Kind of turns out to be like once every couple
- 3:22Speaker 5: of years. I've done I've done like the derby trip
- 3:25Speaker 5: with another group of people, but this is a this
- 3:28Speaker 5: is a separate group of people.
- 3:29Speaker 4: And yeah, we go and one.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Of the guys had a hookup with NASCAR. Very nice
- 3:36Speaker 5: lated him, Julie. She's been working for NASCAR for like
- 3:38Speaker 5: twenty nine years. And we got an experience that probably
- 3:44Speaker 5: couldn't go back to a NASCAR event like normally after this.
- 3:47Speaker 5: It was the type of situation roll out the red
- 3:50Speaker 5: carpet a little bit. Yeah, we get there the race,
- 3:53Speaker 5: sit into like two good group of guys there. Yeah,
- 3:55Speaker 5: so we get there like eight in the morning. Yeah,
- 3:57Speaker 5: and tell you got to This is how we start
- 3:59Speaker 5: the day. As soon as we wait sound there's this.
- 4:03Speaker 5: There's no cursing, I think because he posted it.
- 4:05Speaker 4: This is so. This is Ryan Priest. He's a driver.
- 4:07Speaker 4: I think he drives a sixty car Ryan Priest.
- 4:10Speaker 5: We get there at eight am and we hop straight
- 4:13Speaker 5: in the truck with him, and this is what he
- 4:15Speaker 5: does right at the beginning.
- 4:17Speaker 4: As soon as we jump in the truck, just peeling out,
- 4:24Speaker 4: he's doing donuts on the track in this truck. So
- 4:31Speaker 4: we take off, so we get it.
- 4:32Speaker 5: We do a pace car ride with him in the mornings,
- 4:34Speaker 5: we jump in with a NASCAR driver and he takes
- 4:37Speaker 5: us around the track of Talladega and he going pretty fast,
- 4:42Speaker 5: like he's driving a truck. He's not driving a NASCAR
- 4:45Speaker 5: he's driving like a four truck there. Yeah, he was
- 4:49Speaker 5: going like one hundred and twenty one five down this
- 4:51Speaker 5: and so like if you've seen like the banks of NASCAR,
- 4:53Speaker 5: it's like you're on your side right, like you're driving
- 4:56Speaker 5: so fast. And he's driving down these turns and he's
- 4:58Speaker 5: talking with us, kind of be s a with us,
- 5:00Speaker 5: and he's just like, hey, I'm in the back, so
- 5:01Speaker 5: he's just looking ban.
- 5:03Speaker 4: He's just like and then we do this and he's
- 5:05Speaker 4: talking about all the stuff.
- 5:06Speaker 5: He's not even looking at correct and like he nearly
- 5:10Speaker 5: he's nearly taking the mirrors off the off.
- 5:13Speaker 4: The car because he's so close to the wall.
- 5:15Speaker 5: And he's sitting the banks and like hitting these turns
- 5:18Speaker 5: and just looking at us talking and.
- 5:19Speaker 7: I'm like, but you don't do greating cars anyway.
- 5:23Speaker 4: Well, so if he would have done a couple more
- 5:24Speaker 4: donuts there, I was gonna lose it a little bit,
- 5:27Speaker 4: would have gotten a little sick to the timmy.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Yeah, but I am so you weren't drinking yet.
- 5:32Speaker 10: Yeah, but Matt, So Matt has to drive. Yeah, like
- 5:36Speaker 10: Matt can't ride in a car. That's riding in a car.
- 5:39Speaker 10: He gets car sick, like going down the interstate.
- 5:41Speaker 5: So I did ride there. We we had a big
- 5:43Speaker 5: like sprinter van that took us because it was like
- 5:45Speaker 5: an hour and a half from where we were staying.
- 5:46Speaker 5: We stayed at Lake Martin and all then because we
- 5:49Speaker 5: got there on Friday, so we did a couple of
- 5:50Speaker 5: late days.
- 5:50Speaker 4: We played a little golf on Saturday. So we do that.
- 5:54Speaker 5: We go around the track, which was awesome, kind of
- 5:56Speaker 5: like unexpected, and then we get to walk around like
- 6:00Speaker 5: the garages, pit row, we get to talk to We
- 6:04Speaker 5: sat in another driver's names John Hunter Nimachek.
- 6:08Speaker 7: Yeah, forty two car.
- 6:11Speaker 5: He's twenty eight years old. He looks like he's thirteen.
- 6:14Speaker 5: The kid's been driving. The kid's been racing since he
- 6:17Speaker 5: was like three and four years old, like racing trucks something.
- 6:22Speaker 5: He was on the truck series at sixteen. Yeah, he's
- 6:25Speaker 5: twenty eight now. But like all these NASCAR drivers, they
- 6:29Speaker 5: look like kids. Oh yeah, so so we do this,
- 6:33Speaker 5: like we sit with this Niema check gown for like
- 6:34Speaker 5: twenty thirty minutes, and you would be shocked, like these
- 6:37Speaker 5: drivers just because of their business and their sport.
- 6:40Speaker 7: Ideeah, that's him, that's Rock Party Bab, that is Brock Perty,
- 6:43Speaker 7: That's Brockbursy.
- 6:45Speaker 5: So they have the way their business is set up,
- 6:48Speaker 5: and because like I guess, their viewership and their fanships
- 6:50Speaker 5: down from like fifteen twenty years ago, and like Jeff Gordon,
- 6:53Speaker 5: the juniors and all that, they have to make them
- 6:56Speaker 5: The drivers have to make themselves available for big spenders,
- 7:00Speaker 5: scot responsors, all like up until like thirty minutes before
- 7:04Speaker 5: the race. So we're sitting in here, so a NASCAR
- 7:08Speaker 5: driver drove us around the track at eight. It's like
- 7:11Speaker 5: asking asking Drew Brees go play catch on the field before.
- 7:15Speaker 7: We're going to fan, yeah, for a game.
- 7:18Speaker 5: So like they have to make themselves available. So of
- 7:21Speaker 5: course we're the the a holes that they got to
- 7:22Speaker 5: make themselves available to.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Right.
- 7:24Speaker 5: So we're in the like in his trailer and he's
- 7:27Speaker 5: talking to us about like his preparation, and we're sitting
- 7:30Speaker 5: in his little office and he opens up this cabinet
- 7:33Speaker 5: and he's like, hey, I'm going to show you some
- 7:35Speaker 5: of this stuff in here and in the cabinet, I
- 7:37Speaker 5: see a bag of a competitive electrolyte drink and I'm like, hey,
- 7:42Speaker 5: what's that? And he's like, this is this product? He's like,
- 7:45Speaker 5: oh yeah, it's like it's it's necessary for me, like
- 7:47Speaker 5: for human performance, because we I lose like eleven pounds
- 7:50Speaker 5: of sweat in a race.
- 7:52Speaker 7: In your pocket? Oh yeah, I brought it.
- 7:53Speaker 4: I brought it.
- 7:54Speaker 5: I was I was sprinkling them. Okay, I'll sprinkling them
- 7:56Speaker 5: out there.
- 7:57Speaker 7: Did you give him the like the rundown as soon
- 8:00Speaker 7: is like he finished?
- 8:01Speaker 4: No doubt?
- 8:02Speaker 6: You really think he was going to miss that opportunity?
- 8:05Speaker 4: Oh?
- 8:05Speaker 10: I mean sometimes I don't know. Sometimes I feel like
- 8:09Speaker 10: he's a little humble of of my high.
- 8:11Speaker 4: I do I am.
- 8:12Speaker 5: I know, I'm not. I hate the word entrepreneur. I'm
- 8:18Speaker 5: not that kind of guy. That's like not all he
- 8:20Speaker 5: wants to talk about is himself and out great everything else.
- 8:23Speaker 4: But anyway, I wanted to be respectful. But we got
- 8:26Speaker 4: to hang out with him. Well.
- 8:27Speaker 5: We talked to Jimmy Johnson for a long time, not
- 8:30Speaker 5: the football coach, the driver, not why uh huh, who
- 8:34Speaker 5: was awesome? And then we talked to the spotter for
- 8:36Speaker 5: Brad Keselowski, another driver and he was a.
- 8:40Speaker 4: Big football guy.
- 8:41Speaker 5: So this was a guy who's the spotter, and the
- 8:43Speaker 5: spotter is the guy that sits at the top and
- 8:44Speaker 5: he talks directly to the driver. So the driver, because
- 8:47Speaker 5: they're kind of like locked in, they can't.
- 8:48Speaker 6: Really like look left round, like go laugh.
- 8:50Speaker 5: So they're telling them like go laugh exactly, turn left,
- 8:54Speaker 5: turn left, I go straight now, turn left, So like
- 8:57Speaker 5: they're the guys that they're their eyes. And so how
- 9:00Speaker 5: he became a spotter. He was like big into like
- 9:05Speaker 5: video games and like the simula simulator. Yeah world like
- 9:09Speaker 5: twenty years ago, and Dylan Enhardt Junior used to get
- 9:14Speaker 5: on these simulators and like race people like online racing
- 9:17Speaker 5: like you do gaming. And there was this one guy
- 9:19Speaker 5: that kept like beating him in these races and it
- 9:22Speaker 5: was this guy, so he like they connected and he
- 9:26Speaker 5: ended up becoming Dalenhard junior spotter for like ever because
- 9:29Speaker 5: he was beating him at these simulators. And so now he's,
- 9:34Speaker 5: oh boy, what happened. Anyway, if he would have won, yeah,
- 9:42Speaker 5: we would have got to go to the Winter Circle.
- 9:46Speaker 5: I know, I saw the victory lap was pretty awesome though.
- 9:49Speaker 5: Victory lap was good. So that guy. So we went
- 9:52Speaker 5: to the drivers. They have a driver's meeting beforehand, and
- 9:55Speaker 5: so all the drivers are there. They announced like they're
- 9:57Speaker 5: announcing all the sponsors. They announced it like we were there,
- 10:01Speaker 5: Marshall Lynch was there, DK Mack so like they're trying
- 10:04Speaker 5: to add validity to it, like so they you know,
- 10:06Speaker 5: announced a bunch of washed up has been football players
- 10:09Speaker 5: and like to think that that was going to give
- 10:11Speaker 5: them any credibility at all. But all the drivers were there,
- 10:15Speaker 5: and uh so that was a really cool experience.
- 10:17Speaker 4: We got to do all this stuff.
- 10:17Speaker 5: We've got to be in the pit that we talked to,
- 10:20Speaker 5: Like a lot of the pit crews, they like took
- 10:21Speaker 5: us through how they kind of they they do.
- 10:24Speaker 7: Everything, how they get the tires on there.
- 10:26Speaker 10: Look at him in fact that he's even driving, he
- 10:28Speaker 10: is he's so tall. He said he could touch the
- 10:31Speaker 10: gas pedal and hold him to the steering wheel and
- 10:33Speaker 10: hang out of the car. He said he saw he
- 10:36Speaker 10: saw Dal Junior kind of do it. But he said
- 10:38Speaker 10: Dale was in the car. He said he didn't feel
- 10:40Speaker 10: like he got to experience at all. He said, so,
- 10:42Speaker 10: you know what, I thought my legs were long enough,
- 10:44Speaker 10: I think I can actually control this car.
- 10:46Speaker 7: I'm going to do it hanging out the window.
- 10:50Speaker 4: On the hood.
- 10:50Speaker 10: He crashes on like into the wall later on, and
- 10:52Speaker 10: he did it. Was calculated.
- 10:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 10:54Speaker 10: And then he gets to burn and rubber and stands
- 10:56Speaker 10: on top of the car while it's burning rubber and
- 11:00Speaker 10: cheers with It's incredible.
- 11:04Speaker 4: He also he also had like.
- 11:07Speaker 6: Carson.
- 11:08Speaker 11: Yeah because of this and the chilies, the chili.
- 11:11Speaker 5: Logo is legit. So I saw him at the at
- 11:15Speaker 5: the little Driver's meeting before and he had a cowboy
- 11:18Speaker 5: hat on, cowboy boots.
- 11:20Speaker 4: He had a good set up.
- 11:21Speaker 5: I don't remember him being that tall, is he really?
- 11:25Speaker 6: I just looked him up.
- 11:27Speaker 7: See he looks young too, but yeah he was. I
- 11:30Speaker 7: was like, man, he's actually the height.
- 11:31Speaker 5: He said, I should place a little side action on
- 11:33Speaker 5: this guy. He's got the cowboy hat on.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Did you do it?
- 11:37Speaker 7: You know who did?
- 11:38Speaker 4: I did?
- 11:38Speaker 5: I just did it like a little light sprinkles on
- 11:40Speaker 5: the guys. We mad Brinton, no doubt.
- 11:43Speaker 9: Uh.
- 11:44Speaker 5: Then you know we got to we got to ride around.
- 11:46Speaker 5: They drove us around the golf cards. So we set
- 11:47Speaker 5: up and that's a very cool. I'm glad y'all. Went
- 11:50Speaker 5: it was cool. Now, I don't know if I see
- 11:53Speaker 5: the need to get on purpose crashes into the wall.
- 11:56Speaker 7: On purpose, look so he can burn rubber.
- 12:01Speaker 10: And then watch gets out of the car and starts
- 12:05Speaker 10: standing on top while the car is going.
- 12:08Speaker 7: That seems dangerous, it does, but it's awesome. Ah who
- 12:16Speaker 7: this man?
- 12:17Speaker 5: Those cars go really fast, by the way, Yeah, just
- 12:20Speaker 5: do it justice. I think they were telling we were
- 12:23Speaker 5: asking them how fast they go. He said we might
- 12:25Speaker 5: top out at some point in like two fifteen.
- 12:27Speaker 8: I was I was actually gonna guess like two twenty.
- 12:30Speaker 4: And they're like, they're like pushing each other. Yeah, rubbing
- 12:35Speaker 4: is racing bo? Yeah brother, yeah brother?
- 12:39Speaker 6: What did they call it?
- 12:40Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 12:43Speaker 10: The chat knows me too well, because I was laughing
- 12:46Speaker 10: at Abbo's comment. Y'all know me too well. Racer, do
- 12:49Speaker 10: you have some samples? Matt, have something to sell?
- 12:55Speaker 6: Very much?
- 12:56Speaker 4: How much you want these samples?
- 12:58Speaker 7: Well done? Well done. That made me and I couldn't
- 13:00Speaker 7: contain it.
- 13:01Speaker 5: So anyway, it was fantastic. It was a fantastic time.
- 13:05Speaker 5: I don't know. After that experience, I don't know if
- 13:10Speaker 5: I could go back just like I seat now they
- 13:13Speaker 5: get like as you can imagine good people watching, fantastic
- 13:18Speaker 5: people watching. Uh, there was a lot going on visually, Yeah,
- 13:24Speaker 5: a lot of denim.
- 13:27Speaker 4: Yeah, it was a lot of denim. A lot of
- 13:30Speaker 4: not denim as well.
- 13:31Speaker 6: Well I'm putting this on my bucket list.
- 13:34Speaker 4: Cut off.
- 13:36Speaker 6: Yeh, all right, whatever connects you had.
- 13:39Speaker 7: Yeah, well it's quarterback connects.
- 13:41Speaker 6: Well, luckily I know a quarterback.
- 13:45Speaker 7: I never got those, so he likes me more.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Doubt a good point.
- 13:51Speaker 7: Did you ever protect him from getting hit by other
- 13:54Speaker 7: grown men?
- 13:54Speaker 4: No?
- 13:54Speaker 6: But no, but I would you try. I would try,
- 13:58Speaker 6: you would all of you.
- 14:00Speaker 5: But I actually did, and I stood on You know,
- 14:03Speaker 5: how much is the beverage of daga?
- 14:06Speaker 6: He's like, I don't know.
- 14:07Speaker 10: I didn't we were in the suite, that's like they
- 14:11Speaker 10: were set up on these little silver platters when we
- 14:14Speaker 10: walked in, So I don't really know. I am kind
- 14:17Speaker 10: of feeling like like after watching f one, like the
- 14:21Speaker 10: movie like now that you say, like kind of like
- 14:25Speaker 10: the tints and the sweets and like how they're whining
- 14:27Speaker 10: and dining different different people, Like I didn't know like
- 14:30Speaker 10: that was such a thing until I watched, And I know.
- 14:32Speaker 5: There's not a lot of sweets at at dega.
- 14:36Speaker 6: Really that's actually the demographic.
- 14:38Speaker 7: I feel like you gotta be like legitary.
- 14:43Speaker 5: The sweet was sweets grace, but it wasn't like anywhere
- 14:46Speaker 5: close to hoity toity. Yeah, it was just had some
- 14:48Speaker 5: glass around it.
- 14:49Speaker 8: I took your advice and finally watched F One about
- 14:52Speaker 8: three weeks ago. Best movie I've seen in probably at
- 14:55Speaker 8: least two years.
- 14:57Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 14:57Speaker 8: I liked it a lot, and like it's long, but
- 14:59Speaker 8: I could watch it.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I have rewatched it. I thought it was a great,
- 15:03Speaker 5: great movie. Yeah, but me people watching was absolutely electric.
- 15:10Speaker 5: All right, I'll bought me a couple of number three
- 15:11Speaker 5: coozies too. Put his face on it. God needed a driver,
- 15:16Speaker 5: did they did?
- 15:16Speaker 4: He got?
- 15:17Speaker 8: Dale, said Raise Hill. Praisdale, Yeah, Dale, Yeah.
- 15:21Speaker 4: All right.
- 15:21Speaker 10: Uh, we'll take a break and when we come back,
- 15:23Speaker 10: Nick Underhill, New Orleans dot Football will join us and
- 15:25Speaker 10: break down the SAME's draft.
- 15:26Speaker 7: We'll do it right here on OTV off the bench.
- 15:29Speaker 4: All right.
- 15:30Speaker 10: If your AC goes out it is an emergency, you
- 15:32Speaker 10: go to e msair dot net for Emerson Heating and
- 15:35Speaker 10: Air and listen. Before you spend thousands on a full
- 15:39Speaker 10: system replacement, get a second opinion.
- 15:41Speaker 7: If another AC company tells.
- 15:42Speaker 10: You that your new unit, Emerson Heating in Air will
- 15:46Speaker 10: actually come out, and they'll give you a free second
- 15:48Speaker 10: opinion about that unit that they're trying to tell you
- 15:50Speaker 10: is going to go out. And when you mentioned you
- 15:52Speaker 10: heard it on O t B it is going to
- 15:54Speaker 10: be fr ee. That's right, free for OTB listeners for
- 15:57Speaker 10: that second opinion.
- 15:59Speaker 7: Look, I had a situation.
- 16:00Speaker 10: I was in Pittsburgh for the draft and the AC
- 16:03Speaker 10: started to run a little hot and I wasn't there,
- 16:06Speaker 10: and like, that's the last thing that I wanted to
- 16:07Speaker 10: the wife and kids be without AC while I'm not there.
- 16:09Speaker 10: I called Emerson Heating in Air. They were out there,
- 16:11Speaker 10: like literally within forty five minutes. It was a small
- 16:14Speaker 10: like battery replacement situation. They came in, they did it,
- 16:17Speaker 10: they were out of there in fifteen minutes. We had
- 16:19Speaker 10: AC again. So crisis averted. And that's thanks to Emerson

- 16:52Speaker 10: the website today every Tuesday, Gouy Nick Underhill new once
- 16:56Speaker 10: that football joins us. Nicholas, how we doing, sir? All
- 17:00Speaker 10: draft in the books you now?
- 17:02Speaker 7: Can you know?
- 17:03Speaker 10: Maybe you have a bird take a little bit of
- 17:05Speaker 10: a break there and yeah, the birds singing in the background. There,
- 17:07Speaker 10: What a whimsicol sound, that is, sir nice?
- 17:12Speaker 9: My dog demanded.
- 17:13Speaker 2: She goes out like right as right as we were
- 17:15Speaker 2: coming off. I don't got a choice here. I don't
- 17:17Speaker 2: got a choice. It's all runs things around here.
- 17:19Speaker 7: I totally understand that.
- 17:21Speaker 10: Uh, all right, the draft, it finally happened. You got
- 17:24Speaker 10: some new players to talk about, and uh, I was saying,
- 17:27Speaker 10: like after Monsieur de Lane went at six, it almost
- 17:30Speaker 10: felt like, Okay, this is exactly where the Saints are
- 17:32Speaker 10: going to go. I'm so glad it's Jordan Tyson if
- 17:35Speaker 10: they go a receiver and not Carnell Tate. No hate
- 17:37Speaker 10: don Tate, but I thought Jordan Tyson had the highest
- 17:39Speaker 10: ceiling of any receiver. So once the Chiefs made that pick,
- 17:43Speaker 10: how confident were you that it was going to be
- 17:45Speaker 10: Jordan Tyson? And not uh you know, a Downs, not
- 17:48Speaker 10: a Ruben Bay one of those players.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I had a thirty minute podcast recorded on Jordan
- 17:53Speaker 2: Tyson that I put out before Roger Goodell said.
- 17:55Speaker 9: It, so I felt I felt pretty confident the whole way.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Uh yeah, that was that guy, man, that that was
- 18:02Speaker 2: the person they locked in on, the one person, the
- 18:04Speaker 2: one player that could have changed it.
- 18:05Speaker 9: Up, and I started to think it might happen. Was
- 18:08Speaker 9: Sonny Styles. I think they had him as that guy.
- 18:12Speaker 2: I think it was you know, Reese in Love at
- 18:14Speaker 2: the top, then Sonny Styles, and then Jordan Tyson was
- 18:16Speaker 2: the next option, and you know Carneal take on four.
- 18:20Speaker 2: All of a sudden, you know, I started like thinking,
- 18:22Speaker 2: maybe this shakes a different direction, that that was a
- 18:25Speaker 2: little bit crazy. That was a pick I didn't see
- 18:27Speaker 2: coming at all. I think it surprised a lot of people.
- 18:30Speaker 2: And then yeah, but look, I think Tyson's like a
- 18:32Speaker 2: perfect fit.
- 18:33Speaker 9: For what they do.
- 18:34Speaker 7: It's just it's the health.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Component of it, and none of us really know how
- 18:37Speaker 2: that's gonna work out.
- 18:38Speaker 9: But the tape is the tape. The talents the talent.
- 18:41Speaker 2: I think he's good in all the ways that they
- 18:44Speaker 2: need him to be.
- 18:44Speaker 9: Good.
- 18:44Speaker 2: I think he's very similar to Chryslave in some ways,
- 18:47Speaker 2: and I think he's different in all the ways that counts.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Can you know, go up and high point the ball
- 18:52Speaker 2: contested catch stuff is solid.
- 18:54Speaker 9: A little bit.
- 18:54Speaker 2: The numbers overall are a little bit if he but
- 18:56Speaker 2: you know, when you can textualize him no offense to
- 18:59Speaker 2: Sam Levitt, he threw some insane passes last year, and
- 19:02Speaker 2: you know it wasn't always the best situation for a
- 19:05Speaker 2: receiver to go up and get it, you know.
- 19:07Speaker 9: So I think I think he's gonna.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Come in and add an element they don't have, and
- 19:10Speaker 2: it should take this office to the next level. Man,
- 19:12Speaker 2: Like they are built out on that side of the ball.
- 19:16Speaker 2: You know the depth now is there all the way
- 19:18Speaker 2: across the board. You know, it looks like an offense
- 19:21Speaker 2: that should be very very good. And uh not to
- 19:24Speaker 2: like step on future questions or anything, but like, I
- 19:27Speaker 2: think the Oscar delt pick is incredibly important, uh to
- 19:30Speaker 2: what they're trying to do. Last year, Colin More ran
- 19:33Speaker 2: twelve personnel and fifteen point nine percent of his snaps
- 19:36Speaker 2: a year before in Philadelphia was close to thirty. Throughout
- 19:39Speaker 2: his career, he's been around twenty six percent. I think
- 19:42Speaker 2: he wants to get that number back around that thirty percent.
- 19:44Speaker 2: And it's not just that like thirteen too. I think
- 19:47Speaker 2: you can go up quite a bit now and now
- 19:48Speaker 2: you have a guy that can block and catch passes.
- 19:51Speaker 2: And it isn't un till when Jack Stole goes out
- 19:53Speaker 2: on the field anymore that oh, they're gonna run the
- 19:55Speaker 2: ball here out a twelve, right. I think you can
- 19:57Speaker 2: get into a lot of different looks and in the
- 19:59Speaker 2: league's going that direction too, And they're very like on
- 20:02Speaker 2: the pulse type of team, a young staff. They saw
- 20:04Speaker 2: what the Rams did with thirteen. Everybody saw what Kubiak
- 20:07Speaker 2: did with twelve. I think they want to get into
- 20:09Speaker 2: more of those looks and I just think their offense
- 20:12Speaker 2: can be really diversified now.
- 20:14Speaker 5: And Nick, we were talking about it earlier today about
- 20:17Speaker 5: how you know you can overthink the draft in these
- 20:21Speaker 5: last four months so much. I mean you want to
- 20:23Speaker 5: talk like try to get in the head of the
- 20:24Speaker 5: GM and the scouts and like what they may do
- 20:26Speaker 5: here and there, who's going to be available, And certainly
- 20:28Speaker 5: like a Reuben Bain would have been a great pick
- 20:30Speaker 5: at eight. But when you go back to it. They
- 20:33Speaker 5: just kept it simple. They just kept it simple. Say, hey,
- 20:36Speaker 5: we got a brand new starting quarterback, potentially our franchise guy.
- 20:41Speaker 5: Let's just build around him. Let's just keep it. Let's
- 20:43Speaker 5: just keep it simple. And that's what we said, like
- 20:44Speaker 5: immediately after the season. But then we talk ourselves into
- 20:47Speaker 5: different linebackers or safeties or edge rushers. They just kept
- 20:50Speaker 5: it simple, and it felt like this draft they just
- 20:52Speaker 5: wanted to build around show.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know, I would I like a couple
- 20:57Speaker 2: more picks on defense probably like somewhere in there, but
- 20:59Speaker 2: I think it just didn't shake out. But yeah, I
- 21:02Speaker 2: guess like when you look back at it exactly that
- 21:04Speaker 2: like if you're gonna win games, like just be great
- 21:06Speaker 2: on one side of the ball and let that be
- 21:07Speaker 2: the identity. You know, I think people kind of forget
- 21:10Speaker 2: that that they were in a lot of metrics on
- 21:13Speaker 2: how you look at it. They were ten to defense
- 21:14Speaker 2: last year, believe it or not. You know, the rushing
- 21:17Speaker 2: yards per game was one twenty, but they were ten
- 21:19Speaker 2: and epa against around like so, so I mean there's
- 21:23Speaker 2: areas where they can definitely get better. You know, I
- 21:25Speaker 2: don't feel great about the cornerback depth, right now. You know,
- 21:28Speaker 2: I feel like they could maybe add another dB somewhere
- 21:31Speaker 2: in there. Another pass structure would have been great. You know,
- 21:34Speaker 2: I think at forty two they probably would have went
- 21:37Speaker 2: our Mason Thomas or maybe one of these other guys.
- 21:39Speaker 2: But there was a run on edges right before they
- 21:41Speaker 2: come on the board.
- 21:42Speaker 9: So what do they do?
- 21:43Speaker 2: They take the run stuff in DT that has first
- 21:46Speaker 2: round talent and another run.
- 21:47Speaker 9: Defense is gonna be a lot better.
- 21:49Speaker 2: So yeah, I think building around Shuck, maximizing shock, getting
- 21:53Speaker 2: him to the pinnacle of what he can do is
- 21:55Speaker 2: probably the fastest way to ten wins and then next
- 21:58Speaker 2: year is.
- 21:59Speaker 9: Gonna be all about defense.
- 22:00Speaker 2: But man, having you know, three really good receivers, you
- 22:03Speaker 2: get a lottery ticket in Jalen Pole last year. You
- 22:06Speaker 2: know Bryce Lance probably a really good field stretcher, four
- 22:10Speaker 2: to three speed in the fourth round. That's a guy
- 22:13Speaker 2: that can he can be your guy in thirteen. Put
- 22:15Speaker 2: him out there and let him run by everybody when
- 22:17Speaker 2: the safeties bite up, and that can be your piece there.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Your run game is better, you're blocking You got right
- 22:23Speaker 2: now is a fourth round pick that could maybe developed
- 22:26Speaker 2: behind Caesar Ruiz. I don't expect him to start right
- 22:28Speaker 2: away or anything like that. But now your depth there
- 22:31Speaker 2: is pretty good, So that side of the ball is set.
- 22:34Speaker 9: And yes, I mean yeah, when you.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Look back at it and you think about it, yes,
- 22:38Speaker 2: just build around the quarterback that you actually think might
- 22:40Speaker 2: be your franchise quarterback. Help him get there, help him
- 22:42Speaker 2: feel confident, help him develop, elevate him in all the
- 22:45Speaker 2: ways that you can. And if you go and if
- 22:48Speaker 2: it works, I mean, you should have something to hang
- 22:50Speaker 2: your hat on instead of having a little bit sprinkled here,
- 22:53Speaker 2: a little bit sprinkled there.
- 22:54Speaker 9: So yeah, I like the approach. I would have liked.
- 22:57Speaker 2: I would have liked one more of those those first
- 22:59Speaker 2: four picks or something to be on defense. But then
- 23:02Speaker 2: you know, getting Tyree Wilson in the fifth that's probably
- 23:04Speaker 2: a lot better that than what you're gonna do outside
- 23:07Speaker 2: of the first and second round as far as you know,
- 23:09Speaker 2: adding the pass rusher. So yeah, man, I like where
- 23:12Speaker 2: they're going. Then they added Anthony Jennings to another edge guy,
- 23:15Speaker 2: so they got some pieces there. But yeah, they're gonna
- 23:18Speaker 2: win games. It's gonna because they have an offensive capable.
- 23:21Speaker 2: To me, on paper, if sucks what we think he is, like,
- 23:24Speaker 2: they should be able to score thirty like on a
- 23:26Speaker 2: lot of days, Like they have the potential to do that,
- 23:28Speaker 2: and it's been a while since we said that, Like
- 23:30Speaker 2: offense hasn't been fun here for a long time, So
- 23:33Speaker 2: at least on that aspect, Like I feel like it's
- 23:35Speaker 2: gonna be a fun product, some explosiveness, and I'm excited
- 23:39Speaker 2: to see it.
- 23:40Speaker 10: I do understand what you're saying about edge rusher maybe
- 23:42Speaker 10: with that second round pick, and I want to come
- 23:44Speaker 10: back to the edge rushers that they traded for and
- 23:46Speaker 10: so on, the veteran guys. But with Christian Miller, we
- 23:50Speaker 10: didn't talk enough about how the ends and the nose
- 23:53Speaker 10: kind of struggled in this defense last year, Like that
- 23:56Speaker 10: that is a position that could go way up in production.
- 24:00Speaker 10: Like Shepherd and Brazil, like this puts them on notice,
- 24:02Speaker 10: Like gotchall in the middle, Like Christian Miller can play
- 24:04Speaker 10: a zero nose, he can play a four eye. He's
- 24:07Speaker 10: got a body type that can do both of those things.
- 24:09Speaker 10: And so to me, like you had to get better
- 24:11Speaker 10: at one of those positions. It's going to be a rotation, certainly,
- 24:15Speaker 10: but like when you look at last year how it
- 24:16Speaker 10: was played at those end positions, and the nose position
- 24:20Speaker 10: it had to go up, and like you're like Brian
- 24:22Speaker 10: Berzie's got to give you more as a first round
- 24:24Speaker 10: pick there. So I mean Christian Miller is somebody that's
- 24:27Speaker 10: well over three hundred pounds and he doesn't look like it.
- 24:29Speaker 7: And I mean that in the best way possible.
- 24:30Speaker 10: He's a very athletic guy, but he can play that
- 24:32Speaker 10: zero nos if he has to because he is three
- 24:35Speaker 10: hundred plus pounds. So to me, that put a lot
- 24:38Speaker 10: of people on notice, like you better raise your level
- 24:41Speaker 10: of play or he's gonna take your spot.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I think Gotshaw is in the crossairs more than
- 24:46Speaker 2: anybody in that spot. I mean, like you dropped this
- 24:49Speaker 2: guy forty two, your second round picks start like those
- 24:52Speaker 2: aren't guys that you're taking to sit behind somebody for
- 24:55Speaker 2: a year and develop like that guy's ready to go, man,
- 24:57Speaker 2: Like put him out there, let him play. Yeah, I
- 24:59Speaker 2: think it puts everyone unnoticed. I think it makes I
- 25:02Speaker 2: think it makes the defense better. The thing I like
- 25:04Speaker 2: the most about Miller last year is he got his
- 25:07Speaker 2: average s depth to tackle down to one point five yards.
- 25:09Speaker 9: Two years before that it was at two point seven.
- 25:11Speaker 2: So, like you see that line going on the development
- 25:14Speaker 2: just ways you can measure it, ways that you see
- 25:17Speaker 2: him getting better and better, and I think it's an
- 25:20Speaker 2: important spot for them. Like they're run defense yet like
- 25:22Speaker 2: tenth in EPA, but one hundred and twenty yards of
- 25:23Speaker 2: games on hundred and twenty yards a game, Like, yes,
- 25:25Speaker 2: they succeeded against John Robinson a couple of times.
- 25:28Speaker 9: You know, there were days.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Where they were really good, but I think it could
- 25:31Speaker 2: have been way more solid, and especially early on in
- 25:34Speaker 2: the year, I think it took him a little bit
- 25:35Speaker 2: of time to find their identity. With that, I think
- 25:38Speaker 2: he improves it tremendously. And it's not just like Brazil.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Like I think if Vernon Broughton, who third round pick
- 25:44Speaker 2: last year, got hurt, they're incredibly incredibly high on him.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Bo David Sham picked them, brought him over here from
- 25:50Speaker 2: from Texas. You got your two guys there in the middle.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Now if it works out that that can be your
- 25:55Speaker 2: you know, possibly.
- 25:56Speaker 9: Your two guys going forward. I like that pick quite
- 25:59Speaker 9: a bit.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Like you know, one of the ways that I kind
- 26:02Speaker 2: of gauge these things is after they pick someone, Like
- 26:05Speaker 2: when you get a handful of scouts section, you're like
- 26:07Speaker 2: oh man, I love that pick, Like that was Christian Miller,
- 26:09Speaker 2: that was he was that guy in this draft, and
- 26:11Speaker 2: you know, it's just kind of like all right, and
- 26:13Speaker 2: you look at him, you watch him play very obvious
- 26:16Speaker 2: how I think he's going to help this team and
- 26:17Speaker 2: if they get stronger up the middle, like I think
- 26:20Speaker 2: it makes our whole defense a lot better open stuff up.
- 26:23Speaker 2: You know, I think he's going to be a really
- 26:24Speaker 2: good space eater in certain situations. And there's enough athleticism
- 26:28Speaker 2: there too, Like you said that that I think he
- 26:30Speaker 2: might be able to surprise you a little bit, Like
- 26:31Speaker 2: you'ren't looking at him to get five sacks, but you
- 26:34Speaker 2: could be a guy that picks up a couple throughout
- 26:35Speaker 2: the year stops to run like that. That's a that's
- 26:38Speaker 2: a massive neat, especially when you're playing at three four bays.
- 26:41Speaker 5: And I'll look at the draft too, and outside of
- 26:44Speaker 5: the Jordan Tyson pick, there's another guy that I think
- 26:48Speaker 5: has the biggest chance for this team where it's gonna
- 26:50Speaker 5: have the biggest opportunity to be a huge difference maker
- 26:55Speaker 5: in multiple games this year immedia, and the biggest potential
- 26:58Speaker 5: to be the biggest different and that's Barry and Brown
- 27:01Speaker 5: in the sixth round. He's going to step in and
- 27:02Speaker 5: have a obviously an opportunity to fill that Rashid Shahed
- 27:06Speaker 5: void and a returner, And of course we know what
- 27:09Speaker 5: a good returner can do for a team. You can
- 27:11Speaker 5: win a game that you're not supposed to win just
- 27:12Speaker 5: by by a return here or there. So what did
- 27:15Speaker 5: you think of that pick? And how do you think
- 27:17Speaker 5: he can just impact this team? Obviously everyone around here
- 27:20Speaker 5: is going to be interested because the Saints finally taking
- 27:22Speaker 5: LSU guy. But what do you think his impact could be?
- 27:25Speaker 5: And I think it could be could be fairly early.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Man, Like their special teams were so bad last year
- 27:31Speaker 2: that they went back to back picks in the in
- 27:33Speaker 2: the fifth and sixth and it felt like the smartest
- 27:35Speaker 2: thing they did the whole attire offseason, getting Lorenzo Styles,
- 27:39Speaker 2: who you know, I think comes in and serves as
- 27:41Speaker 2: a gunner right away.
- 27:42Speaker 9: Like look for it to everybody on special teams last
- 27:44Speaker 9: year cut j T. Gray, Jona Saker is supposed to
- 27:46Speaker 9: be the other gunner, he.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Gets moved to safety, they lose him trade away Rashid Shihed.
- 27:51Speaker 2: It just kind of was a deterioration throughout you change
- 27:54Speaker 2: your scheme, all your special teams, linebackers get cut, Like
- 27:56Speaker 2: they just didn't have anybody over there, so they needed
- 27:59Speaker 2: they needed the returner and then needed a gunner, and
- 28:02Speaker 2: they got to them. They got a guy that runs
- 28:03Speaker 2: a four to two to be the gunner, and he
- 28:06Speaker 2: ran a four to two with a I think a
- 28:08Speaker 2: labor um injury, so he had to like start his
- 28:10Speaker 2: forty with the opposite arm, so he's.
- 28:11Speaker 9: Probably even faster because his forum was all screwed up.
- 28:14Speaker 2: And uh, yeah, Barrian Brown, like, if you need a returner,
- 28:17Speaker 2: why not go get the guy that I think had
- 28:18Speaker 2: six ninety nine yard pick returns for touchdowns or longer throughout,
- 28:23Speaker 2: like the absolute best.
- 28:24Speaker 5: You talked about that being a big, big need for
- 28:26Speaker 5: the Saints before the draft too.
- 28:28Speaker 2: It was it was a massive need, Like they they
- 28:31Speaker 2: did special teams so dirty, and then they go and uh,
- 28:33Speaker 2: they signed Mason Shipley too. After the draft, the Texas
- 28:36Speaker 2: kicker who's been very solid, real competition for Charlie Smith,
- 28:40Speaker 2: signed Ryan Right. The punters, like the special team should
- 28:42Speaker 2: be should be much improved next year, and it got
- 28:47Speaker 2: bad enough that like I'm actually excited to see that
- 28:49Speaker 2: aspect of the game be a thing that's like uninteresting
- 28:52Speaker 2: in a way, except Barrian Brown is gonna like turn it.
- 28:54Speaker 9: On and make it interesting.
- 28:56Speaker 2: I loved his call, man, like I've been doing this
- 28:58Speaker 2: for fifteen years, and the press conference after the call
- 29:02Speaker 2: that he does with us, Like the excitement on it
- 29:04Speaker 2: was unbelievable, Like just the guy that you know, just
- 29:08Speaker 2: I don't know, Like it kind of reminds you, like
- 29:10Speaker 2: why we all do this, Like why we have played
- 29:12Speaker 2: the game while we talk about it, why we spend
- 29:14Speaker 2: our time watching it. Like just like his joy and
- 29:16Speaker 2: excitement over being picked was like it was incredible. So
- 29:20Speaker 2: like even that, like you know, I think that's a
- 29:22Speaker 2: good aspect of the locker room. But yes, like I
- 29:24Speaker 2: think that's a very very important pick. That that hidden
- 29:27Speaker 2: yard is changes games, Like you know, getting the or
- 29:30Speaker 2: turnout to thirty five changes your whole approach on offense.
- 29:32Speaker 2: So having a guy that can that can get you
- 29:34Speaker 2: a couple of yards here and there, you know, short
- 29:36Speaker 2: in that field, get reliable kicking field goals.
- 29:39Speaker 9: I think it fundamentally changes the team.
- 29:42Speaker 10: Uh, Nick, certainly want to ask you you mentioned it already,
- 29:45Speaker 10: but kind of go into detail here Tyree Wilson comes
- 29:48Speaker 10: over from the Las Vegas Raiders.
- 29:49Speaker 7: He was a former top ten pick. You get him
- 29:51Speaker 7: for a fifth round pick.
- 29:52Speaker 10: Anthony Jennings comes over in free agency after the draft
- 29:55Speaker 10: as well. So really kind of a two parter here
- 29:57Speaker 10: because I want you to talk about those players and
- 30:00Speaker 10: how they kind of fit into everything, and also does
- 30:02Speaker 10: this mean the end of Cam Jordan in a Saints uniform?
- 30:06Speaker 9: Second one? First, I mean, I don't. My understanding is
- 30:09Speaker 9: that they're.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Not pulling his offer, but I think it's it's hard
- 30:12Speaker 2: on Cam if he's trying to get more money.
- 30:14Speaker 9: I think he just lost all his leverage.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Unfortunately for him, Like there you know it's come back
- 30:19Speaker 2: or or don't, Like they built the roster now and
- 30:22Speaker 2: that that's tough for him and it's proven production too,
- 30:25Speaker 2: Like you aren't even betting on a theory.
- 30:26Speaker 9: You know exactly what you're getting both those guys.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Anthony Jennings, Like, I think a really good run defender,
- 30:32Speaker 2: does you know somebody can count on to go down
- 30:34Speaker 2: and set the edge hold at the point of attack
- 30:36Speaker 2: like all that stuff?
- 30:38Speaker 9: You know?
- 30:38Speaker 2: I think a first down player maybe you know, but
- 30:41Speaker 2: he solid he had some really good uh playoff games
- 30:44Speaker 2: for the Patriots over the years, and for Tiri Wilson,
- 30:47Speaker 2: I think at one fifty pick one fifty, I think
- 30:50Speaker 2: it's a it's a great pick up. If he's picked
- 30:52Speaker 2: seven like he was for the Raiders, I think you
- 30:55Speaker 2: just look at him as an extreme disappointment, you know,
- 30:57Speaker 2: over and over. But I think he can come in
- 30:59Speaker 2: if he gives you four or five sacks. I think
- 31:01Speaker 2: that's really all you're looking for. You know, you kind
- 31:03Speaker 2: of start laying out like the analytics and the pressure
- 31:06Speaker 2: rates and the win rates and all that stuff, and
- 31:08Speaker 2: like his curve kind of like sits pretty much exactly
- 31:11Speaker 2: with Carl Grinderson. So if you get like a Grando
- 31:15Speaker 2: or like a Grando light for pick one fifty for
- 31:17Speaker 2: a year is probably better than what you're gonna do
- 31:19Speaker 2: in the draft at that position. They're not going to
- 31:21Speaker 2: pick up his fifth year options, so he's unapprove it situation,
- 31:24Speaker 2: which you know, I think that's fine. Like you kind
- 31:27Speaker 2: of got him for for free for a year and
- 31:29Speaker 2: he fills in a spot and if you want to
- 31:31Speaker 2: keep him, you got first shot at it. But yeah,
- 31:33Speaker 2: I look, I think I think Kim could come in,
- 31:35Speaker 2: and I think it would be someone that that helps him,
- 31:38Speaker 2: and he had ten sacks last year. I think there's
- 31:40Speaker 2: still a spot for him. He's a guy still wan
- 31:42Speaker 2: on my team. I think you're a better team with him.
- 31:43Speaker 2: But I think I think it's very tough for him
- 31:46Speaker 2: to try to negotiate from a you know, that point
- 31:50Speaker 2: of desperation. Now that all the blanks have been filled in,
- 31:54Speaker 2: it's gonna be interesting to see how that goes.
- 31:56Speaker 4: All Right, Nick, last one for you?
- 31:57Speaker 5: What's uh now that all the dust to settle and
- 32:00Speaker 5: you get to look back and you've I'm sure you've
- 32:02Speaker 5: talked it at linked about it, written at linked about it.
- 32:05Speaker 5: So what's your final grade for the Saints Draft?
- 32:11Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 32:11Speaker 2: I think I think probably like a solid B plus,
- 32:13Speaker 2: Like I wanted one more guy on defense somewhere. I
- 32:16Speaker 2: think offensively, like they did a ton of stuff that
- 32:18Speaker 2: that I that I loved. Just if one of those picks,
- 32:20Speaker 2: one of those those top one hundred or whatever picks
- 32:24Speaker 2: before Tyree had been on defense, like someone in the
- 32:26Speaker 2: first four rounds. Like, I just feel like that there's
- 32:28Speaker 2: still a hole somewhere. But man, I feel like this
- 32:31Speaker 2: team's greatly improved throughout the offseason. I think when the
- 32:34Speaker 2: season ended, like I thought they were on the outside
- 32:36Speaker 2: looking in, Like now, I probably sent the line of
- 32:38Speaker 2: like and I'm probably drinking the cool ad hear, but like.
- 32:41Speaker 9: I probably sent the line of like nine and a half, Like,
- 32:43Speaker 9: I feel.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Like they can be a team that wins some games.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Like offensively, they aren't super thin anymore. Defense, I think
- 32:49Speaker 2: you got to add a couple of pieces here, and
- 32:50Speaker 2: I think.
- 32:50Speaker 9: We will see them do that.
- 32:52Speaker 2: I think I think they're at eighty seven guys on
- 32:54Speaker 2: the roster right now, if I'm not missing somebody. So
- 32:57Speaker 2: there's a couple of spots that tells you they're gonna
- 32:59Speaker 2: add some guys, get a little depth in a couple spots,
- 33:02Speaker 2: and yeah, I feel like this team, this team can
- 33:04Speaker 2: be pretty good, man, Like I'm excited to see the offense,
- 33:08Speaker 2: you know, walking in there.
- 33:10Speaker 9: It's been a while, like.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Really since you had that feeling, Like, man, I can't
- 33:12Speaker 2: wait to see what you know, Prime Alvin does, Mike Thomas.
- 33:15Speaker 9: Does, Like I'm excited to see what Jordan Tyson does.
- 33:17Speaker 2: And I think Chris A. Love is going to be
- 33:19Speaker 2: a better player because of this. So yeah, like I'm
- 33:22Speaker 2: off season wise, like I'm probably at an a overall, like,
- 33:25Speaker 2: I feel like they've addressed a lot of needs. I
- 33:27Speaker 2: think they've done it in a way that's not desperate
- 33:30Speaker 2: or over the top or franchise mortgaging. They pretty much
- 33:34Speaker 2: made all their picks here except for the Tyree one,
- 33:37Speaker 2: and they got a trade back, so they didn't even
- 33:38Speaker 2: shorten the number of picks. It's the first time in
- 33:41Speaker 2: a while where everything like feels measured and just clean
- 33:45Speaker 2: and going the right like his hope.
- 33:47Speaker 9: So like, yeah, I think I think the cup is
- 33:49Speaker 9: full right now.
- 33:50Speaker 2: So I would say overall off season and a all.
- 33:53Speaker 10: Right, there he is I guy Nick Underhill, New Orleans

- 37:28Speaker 10: Right across as we said, from a surge in the
- 37:31Speaker 10: old wind Dixie.
- 37:41Speaker 7: Sorry, I was watching this flag football play.
- 37:43Speaker 4: That was a hell of a juke move there on
- 37:47Speaker 4: the commercial. Yeah my hip hurt, little l one button.
- 37:53Speaker 4: Oh man.
- 37:54Speaker 9: Uh.
- 37:55Speaker 10: We caught up with a Goodell at the draft and
- 37:57Speaker 10: man they are they are like fired up and pushing
- 38:00Speaker 10: flag football NFL flag like which we have you know
- 38:03Speaker 10: ed elite and we took part in, but also like
- 38:06Speaker 10: in the high school levels. Like he was telling me, like,
- 38:08Speaker 10: it's about to be in all fifty states. He's like,
- 38:12Speaker 10: it's about to be a high school sport, a female sport,
- 38:15Speaker 10: and that is that is so awesome.
- 38:20Speaker 8: They started pushing it at the the NFL Honors is
- 38:23Speaker 8: when I like first really really saw it.
- 38:25Speaker 10: I is something that you can tell Roger Goodell is
- 38:27Speaker 10: very passionate about and he wants he wants female athletes
- 38:32Speaker 10: to be able to play football, and the NFL is
- 38:35Speaker 10: pushing a lot of resources towards it. And again it's
- 38:38Speaker 10: going to be a high school varsity sport and a
- 38:40Speaker 10: lot of states, almost every state he gave it to.
- 38:42Speaker 7: You'll have to go back and listen to it.
- 38:44Speaker 10: To remember what year he said, but he talked about
- 38:46Speaker 10: Georgia and it being like highly competitive already in high
- 38:48Speaker 10: school sports, and they're like putting a ton of resources
- 38:51Speaker 10: behind it, and it didn't feel like financially because there's
- 38:54Speaker 10: just not financial plays like it's just it's something that
- 38:57Speaker 10: he is passionate about in the NFL is passionate about
- 39:00Speaker 10: allowing females to go out there and play flag football
- 39:02Speaker 10: at a high varsity level, like a laundry you probably
- 39:05Speaker 10: would play.
- 39:05Speaker 11: Say, I'd be into, like, I know, I'm like in
- 39:09Speaker 11: my late twenties now, but I'd be into picking up
- 39:11Speaker 11: a hobby and trying out some flag football.
- 39:13Speaker 6: If they had like an adult.
- 39:14Speaker 7: Thing, be have an adult league elite, I.
- 39:17Speaker 11: Would so join it. We do When does that start
- 39:21Speaker 11: or is it like a yearly thing?
- 39:22Speaker 7: I think they do it two different times. Yeah, you
- 39:24Speaker 7: know what I'm saying, like spring and fall.
- 39:25Speaker 6: Yeah, I can get into that.
- 39:28Speaker 7: I don't know if they did. If they did co ed,
- 39:29Speaker 7: that'd be fun too. Yeah, it would like you know how.
- 39:32Speaker 10: Soccer does like co ed over thirty or over twenty
- 39:35Speaker 10: five or over forty, like does it too?
- 39:38Speaker 7: Yeah, that'd be fun.
- 39:39Speaker 10: I have a wolf back team out there, bruh quarterback
- 39:43Speaker 10: obviously obviously.
- 39:45Speaker 4: Really I called center you slab football.
- 39:50Speaker 7: You gotta have one, you gotta have one.
- 39:53Speaker 11: I would want to do something like I think i'd
- 39:56Speaker 11: want to be a tight end because I could block
- 39:59Speaker 11: and catch.
- 40:02Speaker 10: You got to put the flag foobles like you put
- 40:04Speaker 10: your hands behind your back and you can block that way, right,
- 40:06Speaker 10: I don't know competitive not.
- 40:08Speaker 8: I know some dude behind the back. I know some
- 40:10Speaker 8: du like cross like that. I've seen something like that.
- 40:15Speaker 5: Right, you can't crush anybody.
- 40:19Speaker 4: No wait, no crackbacks, no crackbacks.
- 40:21Speaker 7: I can't even do that in real football anymore.
- 40:23Speaker 4: I know. Yeah, I was just I was just curious about.
- 40:26Speaker 5: I think flag football is great, and especially for female
- 40:29Speaker 5: athletes who want to play play a little football. I
- 40:32Speaker 5: don't know about if they like the guy who's just
- 40:33Speaker 5: you know, go play football.
- 40:38Speaker 10: Well, I mean, I hear you, but not everybody's built
- 40:41Speaker 10: for that, like literally, So it's a nice way to
- 40:45Speaker 10: do something with football if you can't do though.
- 40:48Speaker 4: That was that was my question, Like why is it?
- 40:50Speaker 4: Why is Goodell pushing it so much that that's mine?
- 40:53Speaker 10: I just think it's a it's another they gets like
- 40:56Speaker 10: the licensing fees. I think it's another brand of football
- 41:00Speaker 10: that people that can't play tackle football play. I don't know,
- 41:04Speaker 10: like I said, I don't. I don't think it's ever
- 41:05Speaker 10: going to be a huge revenue stream. It's not like
- 41:10Speaker 10: through NFL is hurting for money. But again, like I
- 41:14Speaker 10: just feel like I think it's something he's passionate about.
- 41:16Speaker 10: I mean, this was on air and off air like
- 41:18Speaker 10: he was talking about it.
- 41:20Speaker 8: So the fact that they're bringing it to the Olympics too,
- 41:24Speaker 8: like that, that certainly adds to it.
- 41:26Speaker 7: I'll tell you what, I say this all the time.
- 41:28Speaker 10: I hate that we went professional in the one sport
- 41:30Speaker 10: they can't represent its country. Yeah, literally, like the only
- 41:33Speaker 10: professional sport that you don't get a chance to play
- 41:36Speaker 10: for Team USA. I want to say we are the
- 41:39Speaker 10: champions like Mighty Ducks too at the Campfire.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Couldn't do it yep, myself from old Glory.
- 41:46Speaker 8: Dog ball, like the hockey team. I mean that, I know,
- 41:49Speaker 8: like everybody was locked into that.
- 41:50Speaker 10: Yeah, that's awesome. It's America. Can't do it for tackle football,
- 41:57Speaker 10: DAILI all right, is that gonna be a thing?
- 42:01Speaker 4: Yeah? I said that a lot this weekend. Oh god,
- 42:03Speaker 4: I bet you're yeah, yeah, brother, what'd you.
- 42:06Speaker 10: Say to nauseum at nausea at nausium makes sense?
- 42:12Speaker 6: He's gonna say del ya at nausea?
- 42:14Speaker 4: O God, Sorry, I don't speak Latin.
- 42:19Speaker 7: Okay, you what whatever?

- 42:23Speaker 10: your blood until it's convenient to not have it in
