- 0:04PC Laptop: Hello friend, Chaplain Terry Warner here.
- 0:07PC Laptop: This will be season 2025, episode number 46.
- 0:12PC Laptop: Fear Not Bible Verses.
- 0:15PC Laptop: We're going to start a series on this.
- 0:17PC Laptop: There'll be several parts to this.
- 0:19PC Laptop: This will be part one this Monday.
- 0:22PC Laptop: And we'll see what's going on how often I release the others.
- 0:25PC Laptop: I'm thinking of maybe even putting it into a little book.
- 0:28PC Laptop: Fear Not Bible verses.
- 0:31PC Laptop: We're in an age right now where we got all kinds of turmoil and disruption and stuff going on.
- 0:38PC Laptop: We got nutcases making laws and ignoring laws and people doing this and writing and everything else.
- 0:44PC Laptop: And we're just about ready to lose our control of our law enforcement if we don't get back to the basics and get back to the Bible.
- 0:53PC Laptop: Your prayers, especially your prayers and praying to God and thanking God for this wonderful country that he gave us.
- 1:10PC Laptop: We have got to get back to the basics, get back to the fundamentals.
- 1:15PC Laptop: All right, enough.
- 1:17PC Laptop: And the way we do that is by speaking words correctly, saying what the Bible says, asking what the Bible says, and then speaking what the Bible says.
- 1:26PC Laptop: We know faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
- 1:31PC Laptop: But we've not been, we've taken the notion that means if we read it, we get faith.
- 1:37PC Laptop: Well, reading it is good, and you should.
- 1:40PC Laptop: And if you do read it, read it out loud, because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
- 1:47PC Laptop: Well, I can hear it by myself, but you're not edifying just yourself.
- 1:53PC Laptop: There's more to you than just your individual.
- 1:56PC Laptop: No man is a is a complete entity by himself.
- 2:00PC Laptop: We need God in everything.
- 2:02PC Laptop: And the Holy Spirit wrote several times, faith cometh by hearing.
- 2:07PC Laptop: Faith worketh by love.
- 2:09PC Laptop: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
- 2:14PC Laptop: You want to see peace?
- 2:15PC Laptop: Start speaking peace.
- 2:17PC Laptop: You want to see love?
- 2:18PC Laptop: Start speaking love, and then your actions will follow what your mouth says.
- 2:24PC Laptop: So let's start in James 3, the verses on the tongue.
- 2:30PC Laptop: Did you ever wonder why you couldn't control or tame your tongue?
- 2:34PC Laptop: It is because the tongue, although a physical part of your body, is not completely controlled by a physical organ, such as your brain.
- 2:43PC Laptop: The tongue is controlled by your heart or your soul.
- 2:47PC Laptop: Because of spiritual law, the tongue carries more authority than a physical organ does.
- 2:53PC Laptop: That is one reason why we can't speak in your desired result or bring your speech words into receiving exactly what you are saying.
- 3:02PC Laptop: Whenever the heart and tongue agree, then the results of your spoken words become a reality.
- 3:09PC Laptop: It may take some time and it may take some doing, but sooner or later it's going to become a reality.
- 3:16PC Laptop: Jesus is the word of God made flesh.
- 3:19PC Laptop: How many times in the Old Testament did they say Jesus was coming?
- 3:24PC Laptop: Jesus was coming, Jesus was coming.
- 3:26PC Laptop: How many times?
- 3:28PC Laptop: Just thousands of times.
- 3:30PC Laptop: And what happened?
- 3:31PC Laptop: Jesus came.
- 3:33PC Laptop: He was the word of God made flesh.
- 3:37PC Laptop: The word of God, the Father, came down in the body of Jesus with the Holy Spirit.
- 3:46PC Laptop: All three worked together.
- 3:48PC Laptop: And Jesus, or the Word, became flesh and dwelt among us.
- 3:53PC Laptop: I'm getting ahead of myself.
- 3:55PC Laptop: The Word of God made flesh, or Jesus will state this very plainly.
- 4:00PC Laptop: Starting with James 3.
- 4:02PC Laptop: Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.
- 4:10PC Laptop: We all stumble in many ways.
- 4:12PC Laptop: If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect or mature man, able to keep his whole body in check.
- 4:20PC Laptop: When we put bits into the mouth of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal, or take ships as an example.
- 4:29PC Laptop: Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds or mechanical engines, they are steered, directed by a very small rudder, wherever the pilot wants to go.
- 4:40PC Laptop: Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts.
- 4:46PC Laptop: Consider or give thought to what a great force is set on fire by such a small spark.
- 4:52PC Laptop: The tongue is also a fire, maybe just a small one to start, but it intensifies as it continues to boast.
- 5:01PC Laptop: In other words, an unkind word, a marital spat, a mean joke.
- 5:05PC Laptop: The tongue it sets on fire a world of evil among the other parts of the body.
- 5:11PC Laptop: It corrupts the whole person and sets the whole course of his life on fire, and it is itself the tongue set on fire by hell, the devil and his system.
- 5:23PC Laptop: By listening to our speech and to a large extent the speech of others, and the tongue will speak the words of instruction and knowledge into our hearts, and then we will speak the same devilish words and consequently receive our disastrous results.
- 5:40PC Laptop: Let me straighten that out a little bit.
- 5:42PC Laptop: By listening to our speech and to a large extent the speech of others, and the tongue will speak the words of instruction and knowledge into our hearts, and then we speak the same devilish words and consequently receive our disastrous results.
- 5:59PC Laptop: I'll give you an example.
- 6:00PC Laptop: Our news bulletins, our news reports, our weather reports, all of that stuff is of going to the census and telling you what's going to happen, and you need to fear, you need to do this.
- 6:11PC Laptop: Insurance is insurance is fear.
- 6:15PC Laptop: I'm not saying you need to go out and get rid of your insurance.
- 6:18PC Laptop: I'm saying you need to realize that the word of God is what maintains the status quo.
- 6:24PC Laptop: The word of God is what give forgives you your sins.
- 6:28PC Laptop: The word of God is who forgives you your sins, cleans you of all unrighteousness, and establishes your going.
- 6:34PC Laptop: And you're rising up and you're lying down.
- 6:37PC Laptop: In everything you do, the word of God and the words out of your mouth, you have believed, therefore you have spoken.
- 6:44PC Laptop: And it will bring you'll bring it to pass, some to good, some to bad.
- 6:49PC Laptop: Matthew 12 and Luke 6, 45, the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
- 6:55PC Laptop: In Matthew 12, 22 to 36, concerning the topics of Jesus and Beelzebub, we start reading in verse 22.
- 7:05PC Laptop: Then a blind and dumb man was brought to Jesus, and he cured him, so that the blind man both spoke and saw.
- 7:14PC Laptop: And all the crowds of the people were stunned and bewildered wonder, and said, This cannot be the son of David, can it?
- 7:21PC Laptop: The Son of Man was commonly accepted as the title of the expected Messiah.
- 7:27PC Laptop: But you see, they knew Jesus when he was a regular person hate to say a regular person.
- 7:34PC Laptop: They knew Jesus from a fleshly point of view, from a sense point of view.
- 7:39PC Laptop: They played with him, they talked with him.
- 7:41PC Laptop: Matthew 1 1, Matthew 9 27, Matthew 15 22, Matthew 20 30, Matthew 21 9, Matthew 22, verse 42, and John 7, verse 42, the Son of Man, Son of David.
- 8:03PC Laptop: But the Pharisees, hearing it, said, This man drives out demons only by and with the help of Beelzebub, the prince of demons.
- 8:12PC Laptop: And knowing their thoughts, he said to them, Any kingdom that is divided against itself is being brought to desolation and laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will last or continue to stand.
- 8:27PC Laptop: And if Satan drives out Satan, he has become divided against himself and disunified.
- 8:34PC Laptop: How then will his kingdom last or continue to stand?
- 8:38PC Laptop: And if I drive out demons by the help of Beelzebub, by whose help do you son do your sons drive them out?
- 8:45PC Laptop: See, they were driving out demons too, or they had the ability to.
- 8:48PC Laptop: For this reason they shall be your judges.
- 8:52PC Laptop: But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you, in other words, before you expected it.
- 9:01PC Laptop: Or how can a person go into a strong man's house and carry off his goods, the entire equipment of his house, without first binding a strong man?
- 9:13PC Laptop: Then indeed he may plunder his house.
- 9:16PC Laptop: He who is not with me, definitely on my side, is against me, and he who does not definitely gather with me and from my side scatters.
- 9:27PC Laptop: Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy, every evil, abusive, injurious, speaking, or indignity against sacred things can be forgiven men.
- 9:40PC Laptop: But blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not and cannot be forgiven.
- 9:45PC Laptop: And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Spirit of the Holy One will not be forgiven, either in this world or in the age to come.
- 9:59PC Laptop: In verse 28, but if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you before you expected it.
- 10:21PC Laptop: So let's go down a rabbit hole that we haven't gone down recently about the unpardonable sin.
- 10:29PC Laptop: One must notice that the religious leaders, the Pharisees and Sadducees, while disliking and hating Jesus, did not deny his miracles, which were too numerous and too well known to deny.
- 10:44PC Laptop: Even when the miracles were for help and healing, the Pharisees attributed him to satanic origin.
- 10:51PC Laptop: But they had a choice, either accept the miracles that's from God, in which case they had to accept Jesus, or the miracles had to be done in the power of Satan, since they were clearly superhuman in origin.
- 11:04PC Laptop: It was by their own admission that their accusations, rather than Jesus' miracles, that they were Satan inspired.
- 11:14PC Laptop: This choice would put them almost beyond redemption.
- 11:17PC Laptop: In Luke 12, 10, and whoever's and whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him.
- 11:25PC Laptop: But unto him that it blasphemes against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven.
- 11:31PC Laptop: And when they bring you into you in the synagogues and unto the magistrates and powers, take no thought how you answer or what you shall say, for the Holy Ghost shall teach you the same hour what you ought to say.
- 11:45PC Laptop: For how can a person go into a strong man's house and carry off his goods, the entire equipment of his house, without first binding the strong men?
- 11:54PC Laptop: Then indeed he may plunder his house.
- 11:58PC Laptop: He who is not with me, definitely on my side, is against me, and he who does not definitely gather with me and from my side scatters.
- 12:08PC Laptop: Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy, every evil, abusive, injurious speaking, or indignity against the sacred things, can be forgiven men.
- 12:19PC Laptop: But blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not and cannot be forgiven.
- 12:24PC Laptop: And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven.
- 12:29PC Laptop: But whoever speaks against the Spirit, the Holy One, will not be forgiven, either in this world and age, or in the world and age to come.
- 12:40PC Laptop: So we see that we find that we we climb a uh we a fragile ladder here that breaks and falls apart.
- 12:52PC Laptop: You don't worry about the unpardonable sin.
- 12:55PC Laptop: If you're a Christian and you believe in Christ, you're not going to commit it.
- 12:58PC Laptop: This was taught Jesus talking to the Jewish leaders of that time.
- 13:03PC Laptop: And his work on the cross and the blood of his sacrifice cleansed us from all unrighteousness and sin and established our God.
- 13:11PC Laptop: And we are forgiven of our sins, past, present, and future.
- 13:16PC Laptop: What we really need to do is live like we have been forgiven of our sins.
- 13:22PC Laptop: Did you notice the distinction between sin against himself and sin against the Holy Spirit?
- 13:29PC Laptop: The unpardonable sin is often understood to mean that rejecting Christ while he was here on earth and his work was completed and the Holy Spirit had come, then the deliberate final rejection of the Holy Spirit's offer of Christ would constitute the eternal sin for which there is no forgiveness ever.
- 13:49PC Laptop: Also, a similar sin is spoken of in Hebrews 6.6, Hebrews 10.26, and 1 John 5.16.
- 13:57PC Laptop: Hebrews 6 4 through 12 says, For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted of the good word of God and the powers of the world to come, if they fall away to renew them again unto repentance, seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open chain.
- 14:25PC Laptop: For the earth which drinks in the rain that cometh often upon it, and brings forth herbs, able for them by who it is dressed, and receives blessings from God.
- 14:36PC Laptop: But that which bears thorns and briars is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing, whose end is to be burned.
- 14:45PC Laptop: But beloved, that's us.
- 14:47PC Laptop: We are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
- 14:54PC Laptop: If you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and believed in your heart that raised him from the condead, and confess him with your mouth that Lord and Savior, you shall be saved of your sins past, of your sins present, and of your sins future.
- 15:12PC Laptop: Does that mean you quit repenting of your sins?
- 15:14PC Laptop: Of course not.
- 15:15PC Laptop: Does it mean you quit trying to please God?
- 15:18PC Laptop: Of course not.
- 15:19PC Laptop: It means you dig deeper into the Word of God and get in the fullness of God's Word, where you can live and walk in divine health and prosperity, where everything you set your hand to do prospers, where you are more than a conqueror.
- 15:32PC Laptop: More than a conqueror through Jesus Christ.
- 15:35PC Laptop: Not just a conqueror, more than a conqueror.
- 15:38PC Laptop: You have a blessed day.
- 15:41PC Laptop: It's a good note to end on.
- 15:43PC Laptop: And we'll pick up part two and cover some more Bible verses and fear, the subject of fear.
- 15:50PC Laptop: Perfect love casteth out fear.
- 15:53PC Laptop: I've not been given a spirit of fear, but a love and judgment and a sound mind.
- 15:59PC Laptop: Praise God, I have the mind of Christ.
- 16:01PC Laptop: He who knew no sin was made to be sin for me, that I might be made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
- 16:09PC Laptop: Again, you have a blessed day in Jesus' name.
- 16:13PC Laptop: Amen.
