- 0:05My name is Kim Johnson and I am a mastermindset, coach, creative
- 0:08strategist, and also happened to be a farmer.
- 0:11This is my Chicken coop and I come out here.

- 0:18Thinking. And just bring some joy.
- 0:20Into the. World.
- 0:21So welcome to the coop and let's start your day off in a
- 0:24fantastic way. Hey everybody, good morning.
- 0:30It is raining. It is cold and it is yucky out
- 0:34here and I walked out and I actually like the rain.
- 0:38I love when it rains because it makes me feel like I can sit and
- 0:41do projects and, and I'm today I'm going to be working on
- 0:45building our flight deck for the crows.
- 0:48We're finished. We finally got a design that we
- 0:51can agree on that to build. So we're going to be working on
- 0:53that. And I'm also going to be working
- 0:55on, I was struggling all week long to locate rubber cement,
- 0:59believe it or not, and I finally nailed it, got some.
- 1:02So I'm super excited to sit down and glue my vision board because
- 1:05I've got everything laid out and I'm going to go glue it down.
- 1:08And today I'm working on all kinds of little things between
- 1:11today and tomorrow before I hit the road on, I say hit the road.
- 1:16But I'm actually going to be back at work coaching people on
- 1:19Monday morning, which I'm very excited about.
- 1:21And I realized as I walked out here this morning to decide what
- 1:25am I going to talk to them about today, about the myriad of
- 1:28emotions that are going on. So for me anyway, and I, and
- 1:32this is what happens. And I want everyone to
- 1:34understand this is normal because I walked out and I was
- 1:37like, oh, it's yucky. I don't want to.
- 1:39Go out and do all this stuff. I had so many thoughts of what
- 1:41what I was going to do today. Oh, it's cold.
- 1:44And I had this like, part of me is disappointed, part of me is
- 1:47happy because we definitely need the rain.
- 1:50We have a drought situation going on here.
- 1:52So I'm like, OK, this is good. I'm, I'm happy that we're seeing
- 1:55the rain, but at the same time I'm sad.
- 1:58So I'm not, I've already identified two different
- 2:01emotions. Then I'm thinking, well, how am
- 2:02I going to get all my stuff from the studio into the house so I
- 2:07can work on it doing my vision boarding.
- 2:10And then I was because it's raining and I don't want
- 2:11anything to get wet. And I'm like, OK, then.
- 2:14So then I get concerned, then I get like, OK, I've got to get
- 2:17creative with how I'm going to get it over there without
- 2:19getting it wet. And my brain just spins and it
- 2:22goes from emotion to emotion to emotion.
- 2:23It's like playing hopscotch and the drivers are running to the
- 2:27front of the bus and I'm like, OK, this is so irritating.
- 2:30And then I'm like, oh, I'm cold, I'm standing out here, I'm
- 2:33recording for you. I'm cold.
- 2:35Then I'm like, oh, I should have put a jacket on.
- 2:37My nose is running, so all of this mind chatter and all of
- 2:41these emotions are switching. Then I realize, OK, I still have
- 2:45to. There's a piece of software that
- 2:46I need to sign up for and download for the end of year
- 2:49numbers and all this stuff. And I've got to test it.
- 2:52And I'm like, I wanted to do it before I went back.
- 2:55So now I feel anxiety because I didn't do that.
- 2:58I didn't get it done. I was.
- 2:59I spent a lot of time testing a lot of different things and it
- 3:04turned out I finally found one, but it was at the end of my
- 3:06allotted time during the week and then I was supposed.
- 3:09To spend time with my son. And I was like, no, I'm going to
- 3:11do it. So I shut.
- 3:11It down, but now I've got to still go back and do it.
- 3:13So this monkey swinging from emotion to emotion, different
- 3:16drivers on the bus going boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom,
- 3:20normal, totally normal. But the question is all the
- 3:24energy, all the things that you feel, you have to decide where
- 3:28you want it to go. You can't just keep it and and
- 3:32not let it be directed. If you don't direct it, it will
- 3:35direct you. I really want you to hear me say
- 3:38that if you don't direct your emotions, they will direct you.
- 3:44There is no question in my mind that that takes place.
- 3:47They will drive that bus right off a Cliff.
- 3:49They do not care. They are focused on what they
- 3:52want to be focused on and nothing, nothing other than
- 3:55that. I mean, there is no question in
- 3:58my mind how much that works. It is a constant and never
- 4:03ending situation where they will take over unless you decide that
- 4:08you want to be in control of them.
- 4:10And I think it's imperative, at the very least it's imperative,
- 4:17and I'm dead serious about this, to be aware of the emotion and
- 4:21if you want to keep it. So if you, if you're irritated
- 4:24and you say I'm irritated and I want to stay irritated, then
- 4:27great, at least you did it consciously.
- 4:29I want irritation to still drive my bus.
- 4:31Great, at least you did it. But for me, I want to be in
- 4:34control of that because I don't want to attract more of what
- 4:37that driver is driving towards. So if I can shift it quickly,
- 4:43I'm going to change that projection.
- 4:45I'm going to change what I'm doing.
- 4:46And that's the key. That is the key my friends,
- 4:49being able to shift it quickly. So here's your here's your
- 4:54directive for today. It's start following, if you've
- 4:58never done the 72 hour challenge of who's driving your bus, I
- 5:03highly recommend that you do it. And basically for 72 hours, it's
- 5:06simple. You monitor your emotions and
- 5:08you track them, you write them down, you see what's coming up.
- 5:11And it's a great thing to do at, you know, once a month, every
- 5:15week, some people like to do it. You know, every week they sit
- 5:19there and they say, OK, I was just checking in and these were
- 5:21my emotions over the course of the week.
- 5:24And then we really start to see who's showing up.
- 5:27But I can't stress this enough. The primary emotion that you
- 5:32spend your predominant amount of time in is the point of law of
- 5:35attraction. And we are at the beginning of
- 5:37the year. So what do you want to attract
- 5:39this year? What are you willing to pay
- 5:42attention to? What are you willing to shift
- 5:44and change? Is it worth keeping it?
- 5:46So pay attention and redirect it.
- 5:50Give it a better job. So I hope you guys have an
- 5:53amazing day. I know I'm going to with all
- 5:56this rain and getting tons of stuff done and I will see you.
- 6:00All tomorrow, bye.
