Latest / The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson / Piers Morgan’s Craziest Political Interview Yet—Ben Ferguson & Candidate Jaime '3 Beer' West
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Fighting all Republicans. I wouldn't let them. I mean, I
- 0:05Speaker 1: had a court's lie. I had a beer. I don't
- 0:07Speaker 1: even talk to them. I don't like them. There are
- 0:10Speaker 1: good Republicans out there.
- 0:11Speaker 2: But then there's these.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Maggots who are just racist and aren't very intelligent at all.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Say just a few last words to the voters. We
- 0:23Speaker 1: have guns, too.
- 0:24Speaker 4: All right.
- 0:25Speaker 5: Three.
- 0:26Speaker 6: You're listening to the 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:30Speaker 7: Good Saturday morning.
- 0:31Speaker 4: So nice to have you with us on the 47
- 0:33Speaker 4: Morning Update. And we've got one really interesting story for you.
- 0:37Speaker 4: You may have heard about the candidate that went on
- 0:39Speaker 4: TV and many assume that she was, well, completely hammered.
- 0:43Speaker 4: She's now talked about just how many beers she had.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Is this to say the Democratic Party? And why are
- 0:50Speaker 4: so many people finding this candidate so intriguing? Could it
- 0:52Speaker 4: be her honesty? I debated her on Piers Morgan's show,
- 0:56Speaker 4: and I'm going to let you hear that interview. Before
- 0:58Speaker 4: we get to that, the midterm elections are heating up
- 1:00Speaker 4: and congressional control in President Trump's agenda.
- 1:03Speaker 8: Hang in the balance.
- 1:04Speaker 4: Every headline has the potential to shift the odds. On
- 1:07Speaker 4: Cal State, you can trade major primaries, election outcomes, and
- 1:11Speaker 4: the biggest political storylines as they happen. A great example
- 1:16Speaker 4: of this is the race in the Democratic presidential nominee.
- 1:19Speaker 7: Yeah, it's up there right now.
- 1:21Speaker 4: Also, how many Senate seats will Democrats hold after the midterms?
- 1:26Speaker 4: Above 52 is trading at 36%, 52 at 18%.
- 1:32Speaker 7: Which party will win the U.S. Senate?
- 1:34Speaker 4: Well, right now it has Democrats at 62%, Republicans at 38%.
- 1:37Speaker 4: How about the Michigan Senate winner? El-Sayed is at 69%,
- 1:41Speaker 4: Mike Rogers at 31%, meaning if you put $ 100 on
- 1:43Speaker 4: Mike Rogers and he wins, you get $ 292 in change back.
- 1:52Speaker 4: That is why I love Couchy. Now, there's the big
- 1:55Speaker 4: Texas event as well. Will Kim Paxton defeat Tallarico? Paxton's
- 1:59Speaker 4: currently trading at 50%, meaning a $ 100 trade would pay
- 2:03Speaker 4: out $ 93 if he beats Tallarico. Now, on Couchy, you're
- 2:07Speaker 4: trading against peers in a live market, meaning there's no house.
- 2:11Speaker 4: And as the probability changes, you can buy in and
- 2:13Speaker 4: out of your position. So download the Couchy app and
- 2:16Speaker 4: use code BEN to get $ 20 when you trade $ 20. K-A-L-S-H-I, Kalshi,
- 2:24Speaker 4: trade on anything.
- 2:25Speaker 9: 18 plus only. Restrictions and eligibility requirements apply. Event contract
- 2:28Speaker 9: trading involves risk and may not be suitable for all investors.
- 2:30Speaker 9: Kalshi products are not available in all jurisdictions. Prices, values,
- 2:32Speaker 9: and available markets may differ from those mentioned. For more information,

- 2:36Speaker 4: It's the 47 Morning Update, and it starts right now.
- 2:39Speaker 6: Story number one.
- 2:41Speaker 4: So sometimes I get to start the show by just
- 2:43Speaker 4: stating something that's pretty obvious, and there's a very good
- 2:46Speaker 4: chance that you've seen the viral video clip that I
- 2:50Speaker 4: was involved in with Piers Morgan and a Democratic candidate
- 2:54Speaker 4: who admitted to drinking while doing her interview with the
- 2:57Speaker 4: American people, or in her community, I should say, getting
- 3:01Speaker 4: ready for Election Day. We're less than two weeks away,
- 3:05Speaker 4: by the way, from the midterms, and this one political
- 3:08Speaker 4: candidate in Indiana is getting international attention, not just national,
- 3:12Speaker 4: but international attention, for something that happened at the local
- 3:16Speaker 4: candidate forum. Now, her name is Jamie West. and she's
- 3:20Speaker 4: running for local office in Indiana. Normally, let's just be clear,
- 3:25Speaker 4: a local candidate forum isn't exactly the kind of thing
- 3:28Speaker 4: that makes national headlines, but this one has. There's a
- 3:32Speaker 4: video that went viral of West speaking at an event
- 3:36Speaker 4: started circulating online, and people immediately began asking the question,
- 3:40Speaker 4: how drunk is she?
- 3:42Speaker 7: Has she been drinking? How many beers? And then the
- 3:44Speaker 7: meme started, and.
- 3:45Speaker 4: The rest is history. Now, not only did viewers question
- 3:48Speaker 4: her delivery and behavior, and the video quickly became a political, well,
- 3:52Speaker 4: nightmare for Democrats, but now I want you to know
- 3:56Speaker 4: the second part of the story which I was involved in.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Jamie West went on Piers Morgan with like a level
- 4:04Speaker 4: of honesty and just like, I don't care that I
- 4:07Speaker 4: have never seen from a political candidate before. Well, Jamie
- 4:10Speaker 4: West has now acknowledged that she had not one, not two,
- 4:13Speaker 4: but three beers before she did that televised event.
- 4:17Speaker 7: Yes, three beers. We don't know, by the way, how
- 4:19Speaker 7: big they are at this point.
- 4:21Speaker 4: But what we do know is what she had to
- 4:23Speaker 4: say while under the influence of those three beers was
- 4:26Speaker 4: truly shocking. For example, her making it very clear that
- 4:30Speaker 4: she wants to fire every Republican if she's elected. Yes,
- 4:34Speaker 4: that's what she said out loud. And I want to
- 4:37Speaker 4: play for you this incredible segment. It was on Piers
- 4:40Speaker 4: Morgan Uncensored. I was one of the guests. And he
- 4:43Speaker 4: sets it up exactly about the debacle of where the
- 4:47Speaker 4: American people are with the Democratic Party right now.
- 4:51Speaker 8: But no single charismatic talisman has seized the initiative. Gavin
- 4:55Speaker 8: Newsom is saddled with the baggage of a dire record
- 4:57Speaker 8: in California. AOC can fire her at the base, but
- 5:00Speaker 8: she terrifies the moderates. Mamdani can't run because she was
- 5:03Speaker 8: born in Uganda. Kamala Harris is what she's Kamala Harris.
- 5:07Speaker 8: If social media was a voting block, the nomination would
- 5:10Speaker 8: shortly be going to a surprise challenger from a small
- 5:12Speaker 8: county in rural Indiana. Jamie West is starting small. She's
- 5:15Speaker 8: a Democratic candidate for Fayette County, Indiana. Council's District 4.
- 5:19Speaker 8: But tons of millions of people across the world saw
- 5:21Speaker 8: her interview with local television last week.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Parking is expensive. Driving is expensive.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Going and have to face your elected leaders face to
- 5:33Speaker 3: face is scary along. I need help, you know. And
- 5:39Speaker 3: that's my opening statement. I'm a fighter and you ought
- 5:42Speaker 3: to vote for me. What is the one decision that
- 5:44Speaker 3: I would make that might not be popular?
- 5:46Speaker 1: Right. That may be unpopular with some voters. But is
- 5:49Speaker 1: in the best interest of the county. Firing all Republicans.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I wouldn't let them. I mean, I don't even talk
- 5:58Speaker 1: to them. I don't like them. There are good Republicans
- 6:02Speaker 1: out there.
- 6:02Speaker 3: But then there's these MAGAs who are just racist and...
- 6:08Speaker 3: aren't very intelligent at all.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Say just a few last words to the voters.
- 6:16Speaker 1: We have guns too.
- 6:17Speaker 8: Well, joining me now is Jamie West, a Democratic candidate
- 6:20Speaker 8: for Fayette County Council, Indiana. Alongside her will be the
- 6:22Speaker 8: co-host of The Verdict with Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson. Well,
- 6:25Speaker 8: welcome to both of you. Jamie West, welcome. Your clips,
- 6:29Speaker 8: as you know from that interview, went viral very quickly
- 6:32Speaker 8: around the world. A lot of people, I'm going to
- 6:35Speaker 8: be completely straight with you, a lot of people assumed
- 6:38Speaker 8: you might have had a drink before you did that interview.
- 6:42Speaker 8: Did you?
- 6:43Speaker 1: I had a Coors Light. I had a beer.
- 6:47Speaker 8: One beer?
- 6:47Speaker 7: Maybe a couple.
- 6:51Speaker 8: How many beers did you have?
- 6:52Speaker 2: I was nervous, okay?
- 6:54Speaker 8: I get it.
- 6:54Speaker 7: I thought I was going to win with the full Republicans.
- 6:57Speaker 8: We've all had a drink when we're nervous, but just
- 7:00Speaker 8: to be clear, Jamie, here's your chance to be completely
- 7:04Speaker 8: honest and transparent. How many beers did you have?
- 7:07Speaker 1: All right, three.
- 7:09Speaker 8: Three beers. Okay, well, it's trebled in the last 30 seconds.
- 7:14Speaker 8: What do you mean insane, man?
- 7:16Speaker 2: I had three beers, okay?
- 7:17Speaker 8: Okay, so do you accept you may have been a
- 7:19Speaker 8: little intoxicated?
- 7:20Speaker 2: Not that intoxicated, but I do know what I'm talking about.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 7:26Speaker 2: When it comes to Indiana politics.
- 7:27Speaker 8: Have you had any beers before this interview?
- 7:30Speaker 1: No.
- 7:31Speaker 8: You're completely sober? Yep. Okay. Well, look, you said some
- 7:35Speaker 8: very inflammatory things about Republicans. You wanted to fire them all.
- 7:39Speaker 8: You called them racist and dumb and said we have
- 7:42Speaker 8: guns too. Is there anything you said whilst under the
- 7:45Speaker 8: influence of your beers that you now, with the benefit
- 7:47Speaker 8: of hindsight, maybe wished you hadn't said? No.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I say it all the time.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I'm not friends with them. I don't like them.
- 7:55Speaker 5: They voted for all of this that's happening to our country.
- 8:00Speaker 5: We have a constitutional crisis. We have an illegal war
- 8:03Speaker 5: going on.
- 8:05Speaker 2: I mean, my next door neighbor just graduated high.
- 8:08Speaker 5: School, just finished the crucible for the Marines. Now I'm
- 8:12Speaker 5: afraid he's going to go into this illegal war and die.
- 8:16Speaker 5: I mean, I have every right to be angry, and
- 8:18Speaker 5: so does every American.
- 8:19Speaker 8: But you've got a Republican on the panel against you today,
- 8:23Speaker 8: Ben Ferguson. Would you say that he's racist and dumb?
- 8:27Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I never met the guy.
- 8:29Speaker 8: He is a Republican, though, so do you instinctively— I'm
- 8:31Speaker 8: a Republican.
- 8:32Speaker 4: I wouldn't be able to work for you.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Actually, my husband is a Republican.
- 8:36Speaker 6: Wow.
- 8:36Speaker 2: He's a conservative. He's a libertarian.
- 8:38Speaker 8: Have you fired him yet?
- 8:40Speaker 5: No, we don't talk about politics. But I've got his vote.
- 8:45Speaker 8: Okay, Ben Ferguson. I mean, amazing, right? I've seen some
- 8:48Speaker 8: candidates in my time. Jamie West is certainly unusual. I
- 8:52Speaker 8: think we can all agree on that. She's admitted that
- 8:54Speaker 8: she was loaded with beer the other night and the
- 8:57Speaker 8: clips that went viral. What's your view of Miss West?
- 9:00Speaker 7: I got to tell you, Ms.
- 9:01Speaker 4: West, I actually have to give you credit for one thing.
- 9:04Speaker 4: I am now a huge advocate for candidates drinking before
- 9:07Speaker 4: debates because then we might actually find out what they
- 9:10Speaker 4: believe in. Like, I can see the glass half full
- 9:14Speaker 4: or your big glass almost half full.
- 9:17Speaker 7: I also want to know, like, what size Coors Lights.
- 9:19Speaker 8: Do they drink?
- 9:20Speaker 4: It's got to be like 36 to 64 ounces.
- 9:23Speaker 7: Like, is it a keg stand? And then you answer
- 9:26Speaker 7: a political question. I will say this. I appreciate your honesty.
- 9:32Speaker 4: I do think it is it is a bad moment
- 9:35Speaker 4: when and this is what doesn't help this country is
- 9:38Speaker 4: that when we have a society now where it's like
- 9:41Speaker 4: if you're a Republican, I want to fire you without
- 9:44Speaker 4: ever knowing you, talking to you, understanding what you do.
- 9:47Speaker 4: I know some amazing civil servants, especially at the local level.
- 9:51Speaker 4: If you're a trash collector is a great example. Should
- 9:54Speaker 4: you be fired because you're Republican? If you're a police officer,
- 9:58Speaker 4: you said that you'd.
- 9:59Speaker 7: Fire them all.
- 10:00Speaker 4: So, I mean, that's a dangerous precedent that every single
- 10:03Speaker 4: time somebody gets elected.
- 10:05Speaker 7: At a local level, the way you're describing it.
- 10:07Speaker 4: You want a clean house of every civil servant, the
- 10:09Speaker 4: dog collector, the trash collector, the people that go out
- 10:12Speaker 4: there and deal with downed power lines, the people that
- 10:15Speaker 4: cut trees and grass and do the groundskeeping, the janitors.
- 10:18Speaker 4: I mean, what janitor deserves to be fired because they
- 10:21Speaker 4: may have voted for Donald Trump or another Republican or
- 10:24Speaker 4: just registered Republican? That is dangerous what they do in
- 10:27Speaker 4: dictatorship countries.
- 10:29Speaker 8: Jamie?
- 10:30Speaker 2: I think you're taking that a little bit out of context.
- 10:32Speaker 2: You don't understand what's happening in Indiana. You said fire
- 10:35Speaker 2: them all.
- 10:35Speaker 4: No, but you said fire them all, regardless of the
- 10:38Speaker 4: issue that you said.
- 10:39Speaker 7: They asked you the question. I watched your interview. They
- 10:42Speaker 7: asked you very clearly, like, what is your hot take?
- 10:45Speaker 7: And you said fire all of them. I don't like them.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I don't even talk to them.
- 10:49Speaker 5: I don't think a lot of Americans understand that our politicians,
- 10:55Speaker 5: we pay their salary.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Therefore, we are their bosses. We are our politicians' bosses.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Those are the ones.
- 11:03Speaker 5: That I'm meant to fire. Not the janitors. Not the
- 11:06Speaker 5: United Steelworkers. Not the factory workers.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Not the groceries. Not the butchers.
- 11:12Speaker 5: The politicians whose salaries we pay because we're their bosses.
- 11:18Speaker 7: That's not what you said. I think now you're running
- 11:20Speaker 7: for office.
- 11:21Speaker 4: You're realizing, oh, that was probably a really dumb thing
- 11:23Speaker 4: to say, seven or eight or 92 ounces deep of
- 11:26Speaker 4: Coors Light. Like, that's my real take on this.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Take it as you want. I said what I said.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Fire the Republican politicians.
- 11:35Speaker 1: You want me to? Okay. Okay.
- 11:37Speaker 7: So now it's just the politicians.
- 11:38Speaker 8: Okay.
- 11:39Speaker 2: So if your.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Husband, who you said is a Republican, was elected official,
- 11:43Speaker 4: you'd fire him.
- 11:44Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 11:45Speaker 2: He's not doing a good job.
- 11:46Speaker 4: But you'd stay married to him. So he's a threat
- 11:48Speaker 4: to society, but not in your house.
- 11:50Speaker 5: In my county, Fayette County, Indiana, which is named after
- 11:55Speaker 5: Marquis de Lafayette.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Go France. I love the revolution that you're all.
- 12:00Speaker 7: Yeah, I plead for you.
- 12:02Speaker 8: And Jamie, when you said Jamie, Jamie, when you said
- 12:05Speaker 8: we have guns, too. I mean, how many guns do
- 12:08Speaker 8: you have? I own none.
- 12:10Speaker 2: My husband does, though.
- 12:11Speaker 8: How many has he got?
- 12:12Speaker 1: A lot.
- 12:13Speaker 8: How many?
- 12:13Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 12:14Speaker 1: I never made.
- 12:15Speaker 2: He's probably got seven or eight.
- 12:17Speaker 7: We don't talk about that either.
- 12:18Speaker 8: So your husband has eight guns. So would you use
- 12:21Speaker 8: his guns or what are you getting at?
- 12:24Speaker 2: I wouldn't use any guns.
- 12:25Speaker 8: Right. You did say we have guns too.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I'm a sign holder.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I don't.
- 12:29Speaker 8: Right. What did you mean by we have guns too?
- 12:32Speaker 5: Well, when you get all these threats by MAGA, for
- 12:36Speaker 5: the last 10 years, MAGA has been sending me messages.
- 12:39Speaker 2: They threaten me to my face. I mean, they threaten
- 12:42Speaker 2: to blow my head off. I mean, do they not.
- 12:44Speaker 8: Understand they're Democrats? Well, you made it clear, just to
- 12:47Speaker 8: be clear, on that, Jamie. Well, hang on, hang on.
- 12:48Speaker 8: Just to be clear, you said that the sheriff's nephew
- 12:52Speaker 8: tried to blow your head off. The sheriff who heads
- 12:57Speaker 8: the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, Zach Jones. was told this
- 13:01Speaker 8: and said, I don't know Jamie West. She obviously doesn't
- 13:03Speaker 8: know me. I have five nieces and zero nephews. I
- 13:07Speaker 8: don't know what she's talking about. I'm certain she has
- 13:09Speaker 8: no idea what she's talking about either. So the sheriff's
- 13:14Speaker 8: office said that Zach Jones has no nephews.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Did you not read the Congressional News Examiner?
- 13:20Speaker 5: Union County. This was the Union County. Who's right next
- 13:24Speaker 5: door to me. Sheriff's nephew. They called him to verify.
- 13:28Speaker 5: And he said, yeah, I do have nephews.
- 13:31Speaker 8: Okay.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Because I didn't.
- 13:33Speaker 4: Specify a county.
- 13:35Speaker 7: I just got to know.
- 13:36Speaker 4: If someone's trying to blow your head off and kill you,
- 13:38Speaker 4: is there a police report?
- 13:39Speaker 7: Did you file a police report on this? Is there
- 13:42Speaker 7: any documentation?
- 13:43Speaker 4: No, I took a picture of his truck.
- 13:45Speaker 5: It was after a No Kings protest. The sheriff sat
- 13:50Speaker 5: there with us the whole time.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I grew up with him.
- 13:53Speaker 5: And, you know, we're sharing stories about how we all
- 13:58Speaker 5: grew up together and whatnot. And he's sitting over there
- 14:01Speaker 5: listening to people drive by threatening us.
- 14:05Speaker 2: He knows it happened. I didn't go and report it
- 14:07Speaker 2: to him because I... I took a picture of his truck.
- 14:10Speaker 2: I mean, what am I supposed to do? What are
- 14:12Speaker 2: you supposed to do?
- 14:13Speaker 7: Go to the police?
- 14:14Speaker 8: You get used to it.
- 14:14Speaker 4: You're sitting with the police.
- 14:15Speaker 5: I tell them.
- 14:16Speaker 8: Can I ask you, Jamie? Jamie, let me ask you. Jamie,
- 14:20Speaker 8: let me ask you. What reaction have you had to
- 14:22Speaker 8: your now infamous interview last week? What's it been like
- 14:26Speaker 8: for you?
- 14:27Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 14:28Speaker 2: I've been getting all of these reporters wanting interviews.
- 14:32Speaker 5: And you're, besides my local newspaper, you're the first and
- 14:37Speaker 5: only one Thank you.
- 14:39Speaker 2: I have accepted it, honestly.
- 14:43Speaker 8: What have I done to deserve the scoop?
- 14:46Speaker 2: Because it's hard to trust American media right now because
- 14:51Speaker 2: of our current administration.
- 14:52Speaker 8: So you went British?
- 14:53Speaker 3: What's that?
- 14:54Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 14:54Speaker 4: So you don't trust the liberal media in America that
- 14:57Speaker 4: hates Trump?
- 14:58Speaker 2: I do somewhat. The one that he's been trying to
- 15:00Speaker 2: take over. I mean, Stephen Colbert.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Out of curiosity, if ABC or NBC or CBS called you,
- 15:07Speaker 4: would you do that interview?
- 15:08Speaker 7: Because they hate Donald Trump.
- 15:10Speaker 5: They all have tried to get a hold of me.
- 15:13Speaker 2: CNN, Fox News, NBC.
- 15:16Speaker 8: You're just the man here. Be honest, Jamie. Was it
- 15:20Speaker 8: my British accent? Be honest. Was it the English accent?
- 15:22Speaker 1: It was.
- 15:23Speaker 2: It was the accent. It was the accent, man. Yeah, yeah.
- 15:29Speaker 8: Jamie, you did say Jamie.
- 15:32Speaker 7: You sound better.
- 15:33Speaker 8: Well, Jamie did say about Republicans, I don't talk to them.
- 15:37Speaker 8: I don't like them. I don't like them being around me.
- 15:39Speaker 8: This doesn't sit very easily with the fact you're married
- 15:42Speaker 8: to one who lives with you. I mean, you sleep
- 15:45Speaker 8: with a Republican.
- 15:45Speaker 2: No, we're not technically married.
- 15:47Speaker 5: We've been together about 14 years.
- 15:49Speaker 8: I hate to be personal, but do you have sex
- 15:53Speaker 8: with your husband?
- 15:53Speaker 7: Common law.
- 15:54Speaker 8: Well, do you have sex with your husband?
- 15:55Speaker 2: Every now and then.
- 15:56Speaker 8: Every now and then. You do? So you literally have
- 15:59Speaker 8: sex with a Republican?
- 16:01Speaker 2: He's a libertarian, a conservative. He's actually a libertarian.
- 16:05Speaker 8: Who does he vote for?
- 16:06Speaker 2: He didn't vote for Trump. He's never voted for Trump.
- 16:09Speaker 8: So he's not really a Republican?
- 16:10Speaker 5: If there's a libertarian running for office, he will vote
- 16:15Speaker 5: for them.
- 16:16Speaker 8: You said there are good Republicans out there. Can you
- 16:18Speaker 8: name one?
- 16:20Speaker 5: The Union County Sheriff is one of them. And there
- 16:22Speaker 5: are some in my county, my county clerk, you know,
- 16:27Speaker 5: because we are mostly rural Republicans.
- 16:31Speaker 1: They're all Republicans.
- 16:32Speaker 2: I'm the only Dem running for county council.
- 16:36Speaker 8: Do you think you're going to win, Jamie, or not?
- 16:37Speaker 8: Do you think this publicity storm is going to help you?
- 16:40Speaker 5: A lot of people said that they've been voting for
- 16:42Speaker 5: me and a lot of people wishing that they lived
- 16:45Speaker 5: in Connersville just so they could vote for me.
- 16:47Speaker 8: What do your kids think of this? Are they old
- 16:50Speaker 8: enough to know what's going on? Oh, yeah. Are they
- 16:54Speaker 8: proud of mom?
- 16:55Speaker 1: I don't know, man.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Somewhat. Some are like, I just wish you would lay low.
- 17:01Speaker 2: But what am I going to do? I've been fighting
- 17:03Speaker 2: this fight for 10 years, man. I've been going to
- 17:06Speaker 2: the statehouse to.
- 17:07Speaker 5: Beg the Republican politicians who have been in control of
- 17:11Speaker 5: Indiana for 20 years not to take away our public funding,
- 17:14Speaker 5: our public schools, our emergency services that we need.
- 17:19Speaker 2: I mean, look into the numbers.
- 17:21Speaker 7: I have the numbers right here. Hold on.
- 17:23Speaker 4: You said in an interview that if they didn't do
- 17:25Speaker 4: what you wanted to do, that the fire department was
- 17:27Speaker 4: going to go away. And then the fire department came
- 17:29Speaker 4: out and said there's no issue with the fire department funding.
- 17:32Speaker 7: Like, they even said that you're making it up.
- 17:34Speaker 9: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 17:35Speaker 5: They said that they don't know what's happening because, honestly, the.
- 17:38Speaker 4: Republicans don't know what's happening because.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Of Senate Bill 1. Passed in 2025. They don't know
- 17:45Speaker 2: what's happening. The property tax bill. Everybody thought that their
- 17:48Speaker 2: property taxes were going to get lowered. No.
- 17:51Speaker 5: That was only for all the data centers they want
- 17:53Speaker 5: to build around here. They're the ones that are not
- 17:55Speaker 5: going to be paying the property taxes.
- 17:58Speaker 2: The richest companies in the world.
- 18:00Speaker 8: Jamie, let me ask you. Jamie, if people are watching
- 18:03Speaker 8: this who are in your local county, and I'm sure
- 18:06Speaker 8: the clips will get there, particularly your bombshell beer confession.
- 18:12Speaker 8: If they watch these clips, just give a direct appeal
- 18:15Speaker 8: to the people of your county right now. Why should
- 18:18Speaker 8: they vote for you? Tell them.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Because I'm a fighter. I will go to the statehouse
- 18:23Speaker 2: and fight for you.
- 18:23Speaker 5: None of our local politicians went up there and told
- 18:28Speaker 5: them Senate Bill 1 is going to.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Kill our schools and our libraries and our emergency services.
- 18:34Speaker 1: None of them.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Is it a delayed kill? None of them.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Is it a delayed kill?
- 18:39Speaker 7: It passed in 2025.
- 18:41Speaker 4: It hasn't happened yet.
- 18:42Speaker 7: So when does it kick in?
- 18:43Speaker 2: It started to happen in 2026.
- 18:47Speaker 4: Okay, so it's a secret kill all the schools do.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I got all the numbers right here.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Would you like me to read them off to you?
- 18:52Speaker 2: I mean, Fayette County is.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Going to be losing.
- 18:55Speaker 7: Pull out a keg.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Let's have a pint, as they say over in the UK.
- 18:59Speaker 7: We'll go over the numbers.
- 19:01Speaker 4: Piers, the only thing missing from this interview right now
- 19:03Speaker 4: is someone rocking out going, tonight, it's Saturday Night Live.
- 19:06Speaker 7: Like, that's the only thing missing right now.
- 19:09Speaker 4: I got to tell you, A, I really hope that
- 19:12Speaker 4: Saturday Night Live does this skit because it would be
- 19:14Speaker 4: truly amazing. And I also just have to give some credit.
- 19:18Speaker 4: At least we found a Democrat that'll tell you the truth.
- 19:21Speaker 7: That may be the.
- 19:22Speaker 4: One thing this Democrat, you can actually believe. She's telling you.
- 19:28Speaker 4: You elect her, she'll get rid of all the Republicans.
- 19:31Speaker 4: She'll threaten you, by the way, with we have guns too.
- 19:35Speaker 4: And she'll tell you, I don't like talking to anybody
- 19:37Speaker 4: in MAGA. That's what they believe. And at least she's
- 19:42Speaker 4: willing to tell you the truth on it. It may
- 19:44Speaker 4: have taken, as she described it, three Coors Lights to
- 19:47Speaker 4: get there. But Election Day is coming, folks. and this
- 19:50Speaker 4: is what we're up against.
