- 0:21Speaker 2: don't tell me you have one? So what's going on?
- 0:26Speaker 3: Okay?
- 0:27Speaker 4: So I am addicted to like plastic surgery?
- 0:32Speaker 1: Really?
- 0:33Speaker 4: I yes.
- 0:35Speaker 3: I originally told myself that I was just fixing little things.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Like I got like, oh the nose bump here, I
- 0:43Speaker 4: got like fuller lips, then the jaw line and then eyelids.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Uh whoa to get cheeks fillers like.
- 0:57Speaker 4: I got lp o neers h.
- 1:00Speaker 3: And every time I thought, okay, this this is the
- 1:04Speaker 3: one that will make me feel right, that's all.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Stuff that you've you've already done.
- 1:10Speaker 5: Yes, okay, I feel like this is more common than
- 1:12Speaker 5: we realized too.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Yeah, Ali's wold, Well, I know, yeah, you're right.
- 1:18Speaker 5: I'm getting tattoos, right, you get one and then you're like, oh,
- 1:21Speaker 5: I want another one. Oh there's something you know, and
- 1:23Speaker 5: then all of a sudden you have a sleeve.
- 1:25Speaker 1: But that's that's body art. You can't compare tattoos. Well, yeah,
- 1:28Speaker 1: but think about it.
- 1:29Speaker 2: How many like so many women get lip fillers or
- 1:32Speaker 2: you know, make fuller lips, and then I see it happen.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Then they get like a you.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Know, a little botox here, a little boatox here, a
- 1:38Speaker 2: little but that's like, I feel like that's the most
- 1:40Speaker 2: normal for every woman.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:42Speaker 2: But you've done, you said, I think eyelids, jawline, other
- 1:46Speaker 2: things here and there. Have you stopped now or you
- 1:49Speaker 2: just you're still going.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I just can't stop. Like I'm so now I'm at
- 1:55Speaker 4: the place where I'm like planning my surgeries how my
- 2:00Speaker 4: friends will plan their vacation mom geez. Yeah. And I'm
- 2:05Speaker 4: just like looking at before and after pictures like as
- 2:11Speaker 4: if it's there be really my credit card they're max out,
- 2:16Speaker 4: my shavings are gone. Yuh that people they just keep
- 2:21Speaker 4: calling me.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I just am not stopping.
- 2:29Speaker 2: So you're not only are you addicted to this, but
- 2:31Speaker 2: it's draining your you financially. Does your family know about
- 2:35Speaker 2: this or does like I mean, obviously they see the difference.
- 2:38Speaker 3: But right, yeah, kind of my mom she really doesn't
- 2:43Speaker 3: say much anymore.
- 2:45Speaker 4: She just kind of looks at me, like, where's the daughter?
- 2:50Speaker 4: I remember, like kind of waiting for that version to
- 2:54Speaker 4: walk through the door.
- 2:57Speaker 5: I've never thought about that because a mom might see
- 3:00Speaker 5: that like differently, like can you imagine your childlike not
- 3:03Speaker 5: looking the same at all? Yeah, or liking you made
- 3:06Speaker 5: them like you're me.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I made you.
- 3:08Speaker 2: You came to me, right, Like my son looks exactly
- 3:10Speaker 2: like me. If he walked in one day and didn't
- 3:13Speaker 2: look like me, I'd be like, this is strange. So
- 3:16Speaker 2: she's kind of probably not saying much about it, but
- 3:18Speaker 2: probably concerned, I would imagine, yeah.
- 3:21Speaker 3: And my brother at some point he was asking me
- 3:26Speaker 3: what happened if there's nothing left to sick? And I
- 3:31Speaker 3: laughed it off originally, but honestly, it's almost there, like
- 3:36Speaker 3: there's not much more for me to do, and I
- 3:40Speaker 3: kind of just like broke what I thought about it,
- 3:43Speaker 3: like I am so broke because of this, and what
- 3:47Speaker 3: if I can't stop?
- 3:49Speaker 4: Like I need help?
- 3:50Speaker 2: I think, yeah, And there's nothing wrong with that. I mean,
- 3:54Speaker 2: I think that you should obviously that's the first step,
- 3:56Speaker 2: and trying to figure out if you need help is
- 3:58Speaker 2: going I need help.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Nobody's been able to stop me.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Maybe it would help, but it just feels like I'm
- 4:06Speaker 3: chasing something that's like invisible under my skin, like this
- 4:10Speaker 3: like version of me that just like does not exist.
- 4:15Speaker 1: That's sad.
- 4:16Speaker 2: It's really sad because I'm sure you're gorgeous and beautiful
- 4:20Speaker 2: the way you are, and this is all a mental
- 4:23Speaker 2: thing that makes you feel like you have to do
- 4:26Speaker 2: certain things to appear a certain way. But I mean,
- 4:28Speaker 2: I don't want to obviously diagnose you, and I'm absolutely
- 4:31Speaker 2: not a professional, but body dysmorphia is real, and maybe
- 4:34Speaker 2: this is something that you're just you see yourself in
- 4:36Speaker 2: a completely different light than everybody else.
- 4:39Speaker 4: It's true.
- 4:39Speaker 3: You know. What is really strange is that sometimes I'm
- 4:43Speaker 3: looking at my reflection and I think who is that?
- 4:47Speaker 3: And then.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Pretty immediately before I can even answer that, I start
- 4:52Speaker 4: thinking about, Okay, what's the next procedure.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I'm going to see if anybody knows a specially, we
- 4:58Speaker 2: have a lot of people who listen who I mean,
- 5:00Speaker 2: we have a couple of surgeons who listen, cosmetic surgeons
- 5:02Speaker 2: who listen. And I actually I know one off the
- 5:05Speaker 2: top of our head that I remember him telling us there's.
- 5:07Speaker 1: People that he will not operate on anymore.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Because he knows that there's an issue, which I think
- 5:13Speaker 2: is very noble of him, because he could just get
- 5:16Speaker 2: their money, leave and go buy whatever. I don't care
- 5:18Speaker 2: what you do, but he said no, I think I
- 5:20Speaker 2: don't think you need this, and I don't feel comfortable
- 5:23Speaker 2: doing this procedure.
- 5:24Speaker 1: And maybe I'll talk to him.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I bet any money he might be able to recommend
- 5:27Speaker 2: someone who could possibly help you if if that's okay,
- 5:30Speaker 2: I'll try to reach out and get a number from them.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I really appreciate that.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Yeah, because you deserve to be happy and in the
- 5:38Speaker 2: skin you're in, you know, and definitely if you're in
- 5:41Speaker 2: a financial crisis too, you can't do that. So stay
- 5:44Speaker 2: right there. I'm going to see if I can get
- 5:46Speaker 2: somebody's number for you. Okay, and hang in there, and
- 5:48Speaker 2: we're sending you our best, all right.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Thank you, thank you so much.
- 5:52Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Hold on, stay there, Oh man, I just I hear
- 5:55Speaker 2: someone who I feel like is spiraling right there, and
- 5:59Speaker 2: it's set and you know, I know we have young
- 6:01Speaker 2: people who listen to And I think this is super
- 6:03Speaker 2: important to note, is social media is not helping anything.
- 6:07Speaker 3: No, it's not.
- 6:08Speaker 2: When you see these people and these celebrities online, you're
- 6:12Speaker 2: not seeing them for who they are. Trust me, they
- 6:14Speaker 2: don't really look like that in real life.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Right, not to say they're not beautiful people, right, but they.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Don't look perfect and not twenty four to seven either.
- 6:22Speaker 2: No. So, and we meet them, we're blessed enough to
- 6:25Speaker 2: meet these celebs and they look like real people in person.
- 6:29Speaker 2: So don't be fool by the filters and you know
- 6:33Speaker 2: the effects and the photoshop, it's not real.
- 6:37Speaker 5: Yeah, they have professional teams making sure that they.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Look like that.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Remember that when you are on social media, because I
- 6:43Speaker 2: think that is so important
