DeTaeye Shuts It Down in Debut | Greenville News
Spartanburgers dominate with a 6-0 shutout, led by rookie starter Ben DeTaeye’s five-inning masterpiece — his first start ever after spending his entire minor league career in the bullpen. Evan Morrison and Casey Cook ignite the offense with a double and triple, then Luke Hanson adds insurance with a sacrifice fly. The bullpen seals it with three more runs in the eighth, stranding multiple runners and shutting down every Emperors threat. With Sunday’s rematch looming and Enrique Segura on deck for Spartanburgers, the series is far from over. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow…
