- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, here we are, last break of the day
- 0:03Speaker 1: on this Tuesday.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Boy, A good day, A good day. I think we
- 0:07Speaker 2: learned a few things today. Yeah, you know, and see
- 0:11Speaker 2: we were talking about, you know, when we were young,
- 0:14Speaker 2: making mistakes and things like that. So as we get
- 0:17Speaker 2: into this closing remarks today, I just want to ask you,
- 0:22Speaker 2: you know, maybe there's something you can impart to a
- 0:25Speaker 2: young person out there who's twenty one, who's you know,
- 0:28Speaker 2: we were all twenty one before, we've made mistakes. Let
- 0:32Speaker 2: them know that they can come out of it, they
- 0:33Speaker 2: can do better. Well, you know, here's a deal. It
- 0:39Speaker 2: is amazing how we how we are sometimes, you know,
- 0:45Speaker 2: towards one another, and how we are with our own actions.
- 0:49Speaker 2: It's almost like we we act like we've never made
- 0:52Speaker 2: a mistake ourselves. We act like, you know, what somebody
- 0:57Speaker 2: else has done is more more unforgiven and more unthinkable
- 1:01Speaker 2: than they can ever imagine of themselves, when in actuality,
- 1:05Speaker 2: truth of the matter is, we've all done things. And
- 1:10Speaker 2: thank god that there was no social media when I
- 1:13Speaker 2: was twenty one. Thank god there was no Instagram, Snapchat,
- 1:17Speaker 2: no phone cameras. It we wasn't no phones. I was
- 1:23Speaker 2: twenty one, there's.
- 1:24Speaker 3: No record of the reckless, idiotic decisions we made back then.
- 1:32Speaker 3: But what happens to these young people today is that
- 1:35Speaker 3: they have no way of learning and fixing themselves on
- 1:42Speaker 3: their own. They have no time to heal. The destruction
- 1:47Speaker 3: of one another is so rampant in our society today
- 1:51Speaker 3: that it's frightening.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:53Speaker 4: It's almost like, Man, I.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Really really hate to see bad news come out about
- 1:58Speaker 3: young people because they are so attached to social media
- 2:02Speaker 3: that they is such a part of their world, and
- 2:05Speaker 3: so many of these young people count on it. It's
- 2:08Speaker 3: some grown folks counting on it too, though, and it's
- 2:11Speaker 3: just a tear down in social media that begins the
- 2:17Speaker 3: destruction of a person. Man, Does anybody give anybody uplift
- 2:24Speaker 3: on social media? Does anybody try to say, you know what,
- 2:27Speaker 3: I understand? I understand, I've been there, little girl hanging there.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Everybody makes mistakes, but it's such a rush to judgment,
- 2:39Speaker 3: and then even as you rush to judgment.
- 2:41Speaker 4: There's just a rush to destruction.
- 2:44Speaker 3: And I'm really really concerned about young people today because look,
- 2:48Speaker 3: I still make mistakes.
- 2:49Speaker 4: I made a mistake this year. I made a mistake
- 2:52Speaker 4: this year, a mistake I been ate up.
- 2:55Speaker 3: I get beat up all the time. Man, But I'm
- 2:58Speaker 3: gonna just keep I'm gonna just keep striving it. I'm
- 3:01Speaker 3: gonna just keep going along.
- 3:02Speaker 4: You know.
- 3:03Speaker 3: I'm just strong enough to understand that. Hey man, I'd
- 3:06Speaker 3: have made them before. And like I said the other day,
- 3:08Speaker 3: one of the cool things is when I look back
- 3:11Speaker 3: on all of my rough days, when I look back
- 3:14Speaker 3: on all the days I thought I wasn't gonna do it,
- 3:17Speaker 3: my track record for surviving bad days so far is
- 3:21Speaker 3: one hundred percent.
- 3:23Speaker 4: And that's pretty cool. Anything else shall.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Well, you know, I mean, thank you for that, Thank
- 3:29Speaker 2: you for that.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I just want to And how important is it, seed
- 3:33Speaker 1: like to have a support system, you know what?
- 3:36Speaker 3: That's important man, that somebody reaches they hand down to
- 3:40Speaker 3: pick you up, to give you words of encouragement. And
- 3:43Speaker 3: you can be that to a person that you see
- 3:45Speaker 3: is getting beat up. See the thing about hate, and
- 3:48Speaker 3: I've often said it, hate is louder.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Than love, but love is stronger.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:57Speaker 3: See, So you can loudly try to bring somebody down,
- 4:01Speaker 3: and somebody can come and softly and calmly pick them
- 4:04Speaker 3: up and hold and give them time to heal and
- 4:07Speaker 3: be okay. But you know, there's a loving side to
- 4:12Speaker 3: most people. That is a compassionate side to most people.
- 4:17Speaker 3: And if you don't get out there and get in
- 4:19Speaker 3: the fray and the hate game, now that's just some people.
- 4:21Speaker 3: That's just hateful.
- 4:22Speaker 4: You know.
- 4:23Speaker 3: The devil is busy today, man, The devil has imps
- 4:26Speaker 3: that work for him twenty four to seven. And they
- 4:28Speaker 3: on Twitter, and they on Instagram and they own whatever.
- 4:32Speaker 3: And the devil just press the button and here they
- 4:34Speaker 3: go to work, and they call themselves haters, and that
- 4:38Speaker 3: my job is to hate. No, it's not, no, it's
- 4:42Speaker 3: really not. Our job really is to love and uplift
- 4:46Speaker 3: one another. Because guess what, you gonna need loving and
- 4:49Speaker 3: you're gonna need uplifted. I don't care who you are.
- 4:52Speaker 3: You can be the world's greatest hater. At one point
- 4:55Speaker 3: in time, you're gonna need some loving and some uplift.
- 4:58Speaker 3: And when it's time to get your you know, that's
- 5:01Speaker 3: when the Lord's prayer comes into effect. Give us this
- 5:06Speaker 3: day our daily bread. Forgive us our trust passes, as
- 5:11Speaker 3: we forgive those who trustpass against us. All forgive us
- 5:15Speaker 3: our debts, as we forgive our debtors, which simply means
- 5:18Speaker 3: when it's time for you to get your compassion and
- 5:22Speaker 3: your love, yours is gonna be passed out to you
- 5:24Speaker 3: the way you gave it out.
- 5:25Speaker 4: To everybody else.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Wow, And you have to remember that, man, and we
- 5:30Speaker 3: as people, man, you have to tap into your loving side.
- 5:33Speaker 3: If you see somebody getting beat up, it ain't nothing
- 5:36Speaker 3: wrong with you to go over there and just try
- 5:37Speaker 3: to hug them, give them a help. That don't make
- 5:40Speaker 3: you nothing less than a person because you don't agree
- 5:42Speaker 3: with the masses.
- 5:44Speaker 4: Sometimes you got to pick a person up. Man.
- 5:47Speaker 3: They just need a little bit of uplift so they
- 5:49Speaker 3: can get up and keep going. This young girl don't
- 5:53Speaker 3: deserve to have her life taken from her because she
- 5:56Speaker 3: made a mistake.
- 5:57Speaker 4: And we should not have though the wheel.
- 6:00Speaker 3: To see another young person get broken before they even
- 6:04Speaker 3: get built up. That's a sad thing, it is. Those
- 6:10Speaker 3: are my Those are my remarks.
