Transcript
- 0:09Speaker 1: Hello, everyone, Welcome to the Inside the Birds week nine
- 0:12Speaker 1: NFL preview. I'm Jeff Mosher, a little late to the
- 0:16Speaker 1: show this weekend. It's usually out a little earlier, but
- 0:19Speaker 1: had a lot going on, a lot going on in
- 0:21Speaker 1: the NFL, and I want to make sure I got
- 0:24Speaker 1: all the injury reports because there are some big games
- 0:28Speaker 1: this weekend with big spreads, a lot of big lines
- 0:31Speaker 1: that make picking these games a little bit more difficult
- 0:35Speaker 1: than usual this weekend. But it's an interesting slate of games.
- 0:39Speaker 1: And of course, when Week nine is over, the NFL
- 0:42Speaker 1: will have officially hit it's halfway point. You got the
- 0:46Speaker 1: trade deadline on Tuesday. I think you've already seen some moves.
- 0:51Speaker 1: We'll get into the Eagles at a second. I think
- 0:54Speaker 1: you'll probably see some more moves. There are some interesting
- 0:57Speaker 1: names out on the market, whether it's you know, impact
- 1:00Speaker 1: players like Miles Garrett, who I don't think is gonna
- 1:03Speaker 1: get traded, but you just never know. Trey Hendrickson's name
- 1:07Speaker 1: has been on the list, Jermaine Johnson, of course, Jalen
- 1:10Speaker 1: Philips is always it's always pass rushers. It's gonna be
- 1:12Speaker 1: past rushers, it's gonna be cornerbacks. Maybe a de tackle
- 1:17Speaker 1: here and there, but normally it's those kind of players
- 1:20Speaker 1: that you're seeing, a wide receiver, someone who's gonna make
- 1:24Speaker 1: a playmaking impact on either the offensive or defensive side
- 1:28Speaker 1: of the ball. And we'll see what happens by Tuesday. Obviously,
- 1:33Speaker 1: the Eagles already have gotten ahead of things. They traded
- 1:35Speaker 1: earlier in the week for Michael Carter, the second from
- 1:38Speaker 1: the Jets, a slot cornerback. We talked about that on
- 1:41Speaker 1: Inside the Birds and Adam and I. We will get
- 1:44Speaker 1: into the Eagles trade for Jayir Alexander, which happened Saturday
- 1:50Speaker 1: this week as we get more information. My initial reaction, folks,
- 1:55Speaker 1: is this, I feel like this is one of those
- 1:58Speaker 1: trades where you see the name and you get very
- 2:01Speaker 1: excited and you don't take the context into it. The
- 2:05Speaker 1: context is the Ravens gave him away, all right. The
- 2:08Speaker 1: context is that the Packers gave him away. First. They
- 2:12Speaker 1: have been all right without him, you know, they felt
- 2:14Speaker 1: that they would be a better team without him. They
- 2:16Speaker 1: released him after signing to a big deal a few
- 2:18Speaker 1: years ago. He had a weird ending in Green Bay.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Everybody remembers him being hurt and going out to halftime
- 2:24Speaker 1: I'm sorry going out for the out to middle of
- 2:27Speaker 1: the field for the coin toss and the weirdness of that,
- 2:31Speaker 1: and it just did not end well for him in
- 2:33Speaker 1: Green Bay. Then he goes to Baltimore, doesn't really have
- 2:37Speaker 1: a great one, wasn't able to get out there much
- 2:39Speaker 1: for camp, and then Baltimore has one of the worst
- 2:43Speaker 1: defenses in the league for the first six to seven
- 2:45Speaker 1: weeks of the season and he couldn't get on the field.
- 2:48Speaker 1: They did not want him on the field even though
- 2:50Speaker 1: they were struggling. So I always say, what does that
- 2:53Speaker 1: tell you? You know, I've seen the whole It is
- 2:58Speaker 1: a low risk, high upside trade. That's what the response
- 3:02Speaker 1: I've seen a lot already on social media, some people
- 3:05Speaker 1: who have texted or sent messages to us inside the Birds.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I have a tougher time definitely low risk. I have
- 3:13Speaker 1: a tougher time seeing the high upside to this because
- 3:17Speaker 1: Jaire Alexander was a very good cornerback years ago for
- 3:21Speaker 1: the Packers, but he has struggled with health, he has
- 3:24Speaker 1: struggled to get on the field, and if the Ravens
- 3:28Speaker 1: weren't playing him at a time where they were really
- 3:31Speaker 1: struggling on defense, I have to ask you, what does
- 3:34Speaker 1: that tell you about Jaiir Alexander at this stage of
- 3:39Speaker 1: his career. My colleague aet Philly Voyce wrote this about
- 3:43Speaker 1: Jayire Alexander. He had played in two games for the
- 3:46Speaker 1: Ravens despite only appearing on the injury report once. All right,
- 3:51Speaker 1: so he was healthy. He didn't play because he wasn't healthy.
- 3:54Speaker 1: He didn't play because they didn't want him to play.
- 3:56Speaker 1: And I know he training camp didn't go great for him,
- 3:59Speaker 1: and maybe that extended into the regular season. But when
- 4:02Speaker 1: he did play in those two games, he was targeted
- 4:05Speaker 1: five times. All five passes were complete for one hundred
- 4:09Speaker 1: and sixteen yards, or an average of twenty three point
- 4:12Speaker 1: two yards per target, and he also drew a twenty
- 4:15Speaker 1: seven yard pass interference penalty. He was flagged for pass
- 4:20Speaker 1: interference twenty seven yards. Those are his snaps for the Ravens,
- 4:24Speaker 1: not a huge sample size, but also why they wanted
- 4:28Speaker 1: to him when they got him in the off season.
- 4:30Speaker 1: They wanted depth, and they wanted a potential starter. You know,
- 4:34Speaker 1: they wanted someone to be able to play outside corner
- 4:37Speaker 1: opposite Nate Wiggins, so that Marlon Humphrey could play the
- 4:41Speaker 1: slot and Kyle Hamilton could play safety, but they never
- 4:45Speaker 1: really got that, so they've had to have Marlon Humphrey
- 4:47Speaker 1: play outside, Kyle Hamilton played the slot, and then someone
- 4:50Speaker 1: else that didn't want a depthlet piece playing safety. That's
- 4:55Speaker 1: why they traded. That's why they signed ja Here Alexander
- 4:58Speaker 1: when he became a available, but it didn't work out.
- 5:01Speaker 1: So now that's two teams that have given up on
- 5:04Speaker 1: Jaire Alexander in the matter of months. What does that
- 5:10Speaker 1: tell you? Look at the context. Okay, I get that
- 5:14Speaker 1: the Eagles give up nothing for him. It's a weird
- 5:17Speaker 1: logjam now at outside corner with him and Nadorri Jackson
- 5:21Speaker 1: and Kille Ringo and Jakoreyan Bennett Quinya. Mitchell is obviously there,
- 5:25Speaker 1: head and shoulders above everybody else. Mc McWilliams. The rookie
- 5:28Speaker 1: is on the roster. They're gonna have to make a move.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Someone's gonna have to go. It probably isn't going to
- 5:32Speaker 1: be Jaire Alexander because it just brought him in. But
- 5:37Speaker 1: I think you have to have at this point in
- 5:40Speaker 1: his career, serious questions about how much he can play
- 5:44Speaker 1: and how much he can help you. When two teams
- 5:47Speaker 1: have already decided they don't want him on the field
- 5:50Speaker 1: for them. And these were two pretty good teams who
- 5:52Speaker 1: have the packers of a pretty decent defense. They've had
- 5:56Speaker 1: some breakdowns this year, you know, they give a forty
- 5:59Speaker 1: against al but otherwise it's been pretty good and better lately.
- 6:02Speaker 1: And the Ravens had a terrible start. They played much
- 6:06Speaker 1: better obviously they played the Dolphins, but they got healthy.
- 6:09Speaker 1: They got Rokwan Smith back, they've had a Humphrey back.
- 6:12Speaker 1: They have their corners now not named Dariel Alexander, so
- 6:18Speaker 1: they're getting I mean, they're not healthy upfront because Mattabuki
- 6:21Speaker 1: is on ir and they just get no pass rush,
- 6:23Speaker 1: but in the secondary, the back end, they're healthier, and
- 6:27Speaker 1: you saw them play much better defense, and that was
- 6:29Speaker 1: without Jerio Alexander. He wasn't even active for the game,
- 6:32Speaker 1: so clearly they were already thinking about moving him. So
- 6:36Speaker 1: to me, I think you got to take that into context.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I get it he's not being brought here to be
- 6:40Speaker 1: a savior, but at the same time, you got a
- 6:42Speaker 1: big logjam of guys who just haven't played well at cornerback.
- 6:46Speaker 1: So I don't see this move as some kind of
- 6:49Speaker 1: you know no doubt about it Steel you know Howie
- 6:52Speaker 1: Roseman season type of move. I kind of look at
- 6:55Speaker 1: it with a little bit of skepticism. I get why
- 6:58Speaker 1: he made it, but I just don't know. I wouldn't
- 7:02Speaker 1: have high expectations for Jaya Alexander if I were an
- 7:05Speaker 1: Eagles fan, And if anything, I'm hoping Ja Corey and
- 7:08Speaker 1: Bennett gets back on the field soon shows what he's got, Younger, faster,
- 7:12Speaker 1: more athletic, more upside, and you see where you go
- 7:16Speaker 1: from there. So again, this will be the halfway point
- 7:21Speaker 1: at the end of this week. The teams that are off,
- 7:24Speaker 1: of course, the Eagles, the Bucks, the Jets, and the Browns,
- 7:28Speaker 1: and we are in November away we go getting closer
- 7:32Speaker 1: to Thanksgiving, which to me is the week. The week
- 7:35Speaker 1: of Thanksgiving is when you really start to get an
- 7:38Speaker 1: idea of who the cream of the crop is. There
- 7:42Speaker 1: are some pretenders. You always see some pretenders in September
- 7:45Speaker 1: at October, teams that will get off to really good
- 7:47Speaker 1: starts and then the second half comes and they're just
- 7:50Speaker 1: not that team. And then you see teams like the
- 7:53Speaker 1: Ravens who get off to a bad start have all
- 7:57Speaker 1: sorts of injuries, same thing with the Chiefs earlier in
- 7:59Speaker 1: the year. Then get guys back and all of a
- 8:02Speaker 1: sudden become a totally different team. The Ravens are now favorited.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Even at their record right now, which is three and five,
- 8:09Speaker 1: they're favorited to win the AFC North because the AFC
- 8:13Speaker 1: North is so bad. And the Chiefs, I think I saw,
- 8:15Speaker 1: are like the betting favorites to make it back to
- 8:18Speaker 1: the AFC Championship Game or win the AFC Championship Game
- 8:22Speaker 1: and get to the Super Bowl. And they're only five
- 8:25Speaker 1: and three. But clearly, if you've watched the Chiefs play,
- 8:29Speaker 1: and you've watched Patrick Mahomes play seventeen touchdowns four interceptions,
- 8:33Speaker 1: you realize that with the guys that they've gotten back,
- 8:36Speaker 1: specifically Rashea Rice, they're playing on a whole other level.
- 8:41Speaker 1: And they have a huge game this week that we'll
- 8:43Speaker 1: get into against the Bills.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Sky Motor Cars and West Guests.
- 8:46Speaker 1: There's a different building the others, all the.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Texas one one with their highline pre owned vehicles. The
- 8:51Speaker 2: people all over the country, what the honor Fredchiler. Make
- 8:54Speaker 2: sure you don't spend the time with your money before
- 8:56Speaker 2: you've purchased the car. Sky Motor Cars allow Hue all
- 9:00Speaker 2: the decisions regarding.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Your next day.
- 9:02Speaker 2: At sky Motorcards, you never have to spend more than
- 9:05Speaker 2: nets shot does. A Skymotorcards dot Com today are called
- 9:09Speaker 2: sixteen nine to one, eight seven five.
- 9:15Speaker 1: So let's start it off. First game, one o'clock Bears
- 9:18Speaker 1: at Bengals. It looks like Flacco is gonna go. The
- 9:21Speaker 1: Bengals have one of the ultimate I said last week
- 9:24Speaker 1: on the show, I said I expected the Bengals to
- 9:27Speaker 1: win over the Jets. However, I hate these matchups that
- 9:31Speaker 1: we have to break down where a team is winless,
- 9:34Speaker 1: because when a team is winless, you know they're not
- 9:37Speaker 1: going oh to sixteen or oh seventeen, So you know
- 9:40Speaker 1: the win's gonna be somewhere. You just don't know when
- 9:44Speaker 1: or where it's gonna come. And it's hard to predict
- 9:46Speaker 1: a winless team to win a game. And by the way,
- 9:48Speaker 1: for three quarters that Jets looked like they were headed
- 9:51Speaker 1: to another loss. They had an epic comeback. And so
- 9:55Speaker 1: the Bengals, who really really missed a chance to be
- 9:58Speaker 1: four and four and be taken a little bit more
- 10:01Speaker 1: seriously with Flaccowz, their quarterback holding that fort down until
- 10:06Speaker 1: Joe Burrow gets back. Well, that went out the window.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Their defense is still awful. I mean, they scored thirty
- 10:12Speaker 1: eight points. They should have won the game. Their defense
- 10:15Speaker 1: just continues to kill them, and so now they have
- 10:18Speaker 1: to face the Bears. Bears will be without DeAndre Swift.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Look for the kid from Rutgers, the rookie Kyle Manongai,
- 10:24Speaker 1: to take on at least a big part of the
- 10:28Speaker 1: running game there. The Bears are trying to snap back
- 10:31Speaker 1: from losing to the Ravens last week. It's in Cincinnati.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I don't know what to make of this game because, frankly,
- 10:37Speaker 1: the Bears are up. They're a weird team. They won
- 10:40Speaker 1: three in a row. You would have thought that they
- 10:42Speaker 1: would have even if they were going to lose to
- 10:44Speaker 1: the Ravens, they would have been a little bit of
- 10:46Speaker 1: a closer, tighter game. Their offense has not been great,
- 10:51Speaker 1: the defense is a little banged up, So you know,
- 10:55Speaker 1: I reluctantly think the Bengals have a good chance to
- 10:57Speaker 1: win this game. But their defense is so oh bad
- 11:01Speaker 1: that they could be up by fifteen, sixteen points in
- 11:04Speaker 1: the fourth quarter and the Bears won't be out of it.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Just a very weird game. Bears are two and a
- 11:09Speaker 1: half point favorites one o'clock game. Love this game, love it,
- 11:13Speaker 1: love it, Love it. Vikings at the Lions. The Vikings
- 11:17Speaker 1: are three and four. They've lost a couple in a row.
- 11:19Speaker 1: They go back to JJ McCarthy at quarterback. Lions are
- 11:23Speaker 1: five and two. And they're not just five and two, folks,
- 11:26Speaker 1: I mean if you paying attention to what the Lions
- 11:29Speaker 1: are doing, I mean they are the threat right now
- 11:32Speaker 1: to me in the NFC. If you want to put
- 11:34Speaker 1: the Eagles in there because of their rediscovered running game
- 11:37Speaker 1: against the Giants, I'm not gonna argue with you. But
- 11:40Speaker 1: this Detroit Lions team is a lot healthier than last
- 11:43Speaker 1: year's team, and they're looking for revenge for last year.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Not revenge of against any single team, but basically losing
- 11:51Speaker 1: sixty percent of their roster, their starting roster to injuries.
- 11:54Speaker 1: They had a little bump, a little slip against the Chiefs,
- 11:58Speaker 1: who have been playing great ball. They are a different
- 12:01Speaker 1: team when they have to play outdoors. I mentioned that
- 12:03Speaker 1: last week, but they were home last week. They were
- 12:05Speaker 1: indoors and they beat a good Buccaneers team twenty four
- 12:08Speaker 1: to nine. I mean their last few wins, you know,
- 12:11Speaker 1: thirty seven to twenty four over the Bengals beat the
- 12:14Speaker 1: Browns by twenty four points. Yeah, they're not playing you know,
- 12:18Speaker 1: great teams per se, but they're coming off the bye week.
- 12:21Speaker 1: They get Minnesota, they're at home to indoors, and I
- 12:25Speaker 1: think the Lions are a very difficult team to beat
- 12:28Speaker 1: when they are indoors and at home. But they're eight
- 12:30Speaker 1: and a half point favorites, and that I just you know,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I picked my three games at the end. I had
- 12:35Speaker 1: a tough time with eight and a half against a
- 12:39Speaker 1: division opponent McCarthy's coming back. I mean, it wouldn't shock
- 12:42Speaker 1: me if the Lions won this game by twenty something points,
- 12:44Speaker 1: because I just don't know what to expect from JJ McCarthy.
- 12:48Speaker 1: The Vikings have been dealing with injuries on offense, so
- 12:52Speaker 1: I certainly think that the Lions are going to win
- 12:54Speaker 1: this game. I just don't know about covering the eight
- 12:57Speaker 1: and a half? Is it Panthers? Well, you saw it.
- 13:02Speaker 1: After last week. The Panthers decided that they really can't
- 13:08Speaker 1: just hide Rico down. They can't split it with Dowdell
- 13:11Speaker 1: and Chewba Hubbard anymore. They're gonna make Rico Dowbell. According
- 13:16Speaker 1: to their coach Dave Canalis, he's gonna go back to
- 13:19Speaker 1: being the lead ball carrier. I mean, they were pretty
- 13:21Speaker 1: explosive in those two games Hubbard missed with Dowdell just
- 13:26Speaker 1: turning out chunkyard after chunk yard. But then they went
- 13:30Speaker 1: back to sort of a fifty to fifty split against
- 13:33Speaker 1: the Bills, and the Bills just cleaned their clocks. Now,
- 13:35Speaker 1: remember Andy Dalton started that game. He didn't play well.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Bryce Young is back, But the reality is they have
- 13:41Speaker 1: to play a Packers team that is playing awfully well.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Right now is after that that tie against the Cowboys,
- 13:48Speaker 1: they went into the by they came out, they beat
- 13:50Speaker 1: the Bengals, they beat the Cardinals, and a really impressive
- 13:53Speaker 1: second half in their win against the Steelers last week.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Jordan Love was on a heater last week, especially in
- 14:00Speaker 1: the second half. I mean, he looked like MVP level
- 14:03Speaker 1: Jordan Love, and he plays like that. If he continues
- 14:06Speaker 1: to play like that, especially with Christian Watson now back.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Watson had a really nice first game in his comeback
- 14:13Speaker 1: from ACL injury, then they're a very dangerous team and
- 14:16Speaker 1: they're already a dangerous team when they play at Lambeau,
- 14:20Speaker 1: where this year they are three to oh, including a
- 14:22Speaker 1: win over the Lions, where they've scored twenty seven points
- 14:25Speaker 1: in every game so far this year at Lambeau. I
- 14:29Speaker 1: don't think the Packers have enough to hang with them.
- 14:31Speaker 1: I know Bryce Young should be back. I just don't
- 14:34Speaker 1: think the Panthers have enough to hang now. Again, this
- 14:36Speaker 1: is another line though, thirteen and a half. That's a
- 14:40Speaker 1: big line. Would it shock me if the Packers won
- 14:43Speaker 1: by more than two touchdowns? No, But I will say
- 14:46Speaker 1: I think the Packers, even in some wins this year,
- 14:49Speaker 1: leave the meet a little bit of meat on the bone.
- 14:51Speaker 1: You know, Josh Jacobs has been battling some injury, so
- 14:53Speaker 1: he hasn't really been at his best. And then the
- 14:57Speaker 1: passing game can be very feast or famine. There are
- 15:00Speaker 1: times where Tucker Craft is amazing and then games where
- 15:02Speaker 1: he just catches three or four passes. It's kind of
- 15:04Speaker 1: like the way the Packers pass game is. It's very
- 15:08Speaker 1: very spread around, very democratic, I guess, or whatever you
- 15:11Speaker 1: would call it. Just no one person really dominates the
- 15:14Speaker 1: way that Justin Jefferson dominates, Target Shaars or Jamar Chase does,
- 15:19Speaker 1: and that's a good It's good because it makes tough
- 15:21Speaker 1: to defend. But I don't know if they always have
- 15:24Speaker 1: a go to guy when they need and they've struggled
- 15:26Speaker 1: a little bit on third down this year one o'clock game,
- 15:31Speaker 1: Chargers at the Titans, Titans one to seven. The Chargers
- 15:35Speaker 1: have been looking good. They get healthier, they get better.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Now they still don't have Omari and Hampton back, and
- 15:42Speaker 1: it's still kind of unknown as to win. He's gonna
- 15:46Speaker 1: come back, but they've won two of their last three games. Obviously,
- 15:50Speaker 1: they have lost to the Colts. Culture a good team.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I mean, this is a Titans team. They should just
- 15:54Speaker 1: run all over, Honestly. Kamani Vadal has done a nice
- 15:57Speaker 1: job at running back. Justin Herbert been doing a good job.
- 16:01Speaker 1: He's gotten the rookie tight end Ronde Gadson involved. Gatson
- 16:04Speaker 1: has been really tearing it up. So when you have
- 16:07Speaker 1: Gadson and McConkie really working that intermediary level yards after catch.
- 16:13Speaker 1: You've actually seen Quentin Johnson take a little bit of
- 16:16Speaker 1: a step back in his role in the offense, but
- 16:18Speaker 1: he is still a deep threat and against his Titans
- 16:21Speaker 1: team that has no Jeffrey Simmons up front. They've had
- 16:24Speaker 1: injuries in the secondary. This is a game where you
- 16:27Speaker 1: just expect the Chargers to keep rolling, keep rolling, and
- 16:31Speaker 1: keep letting Justin Herbert do his thing. He's playing well.
- 16:34Speaker 1: And again the Chargers nine and a half point favorites.
- 16:37Speaker 1: That is a game where I don't struggle with as much.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I feel like the Chargers are pretty good there, although
- 16:42Speaker 1: it is on the road, so we'll have to watch that.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Falcons at the Patriots. The Patriots are four and a
- 16:50Speaker 1: half point favorites. I think I've ripped the Falcons quite
- 16:53Speaker 1: a bit on this show, and I'm just gonna continue
- 16:56Speaker 1: to do so. I mean, they were god awful in
- 16:59Speaker 1: their last game against the Miami Dolphins. I mean, this
- 17:01Speaker 1: is a Dolphins team that can't get out of its
- 17:03Speaker 1: own way. Just fired the GM. You know, they're gonna
- 17:07Speaker 1: looks like they're gonna keep the head coach McDaniel, but
- 17:10Speaker 1: they're not very good and the Falcons lost thirty four
- 17:13Speaker 1: to ten against them. That one, to me was a
- 17:18Speaker 1: mind boggling loss. And I don't really know how to
- 17:21Speaker 1: explain it other than that's who the Falcons have been
- 17:24Speaker 1: this year, up and down, and up and down, and
- 17:27Speaker 1: now they got to take on a Patriots team that
- 17:29Speaker 1: has won five in a row. They won't have vermondre Stevenson.
- 17:33Speaker 1: He is a big part of their running game and
- 17:34Speaker 1: as good as Drake May has played the offensive in general,
- 17:40Speaker 1: though it seems like May has to go out there
- 17:42Speaker 1: and sometimes make some superhuman plays because their running game
- 17:46Speaker 1: has not been great. They put the ball on the ground,
- 17:48Speaker 1: at least vermondre Stevenson does. And now Trevion Henderson is
- 17:52Speaker 1: gonna have to play a bigger role. We'll see. He
- 17:56Speaker 1: hasn't exactly lived up. He did have a better game
- 17:58Speaker 1: against the Browns, so he's starting to round into form.
- 18:01Speaker 1: But I just don't love the Patriots run game. But
- 18:04Speaker 1: I don't think it's really going to get in their
- 18:07Speaker 1: way of beating a Falcons team that I just think
- 18:10Speaker 1: that they're missing some kind of identity in the past game.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Now I get that, you know, the loss of the
- 18:15Speaker 1: Dolphins was inexcusable. Last week's loss was also because they
- 18:21Speaker 1: didn't have Kirk Cousins. But I still think that's why
- 18:24Speaker 1: it's still to me inexcusable. I mean, I get it,
- 18:28Speaker 1: you're on I'm sorry they didn't have Michael Pennix. They're
- 18:30Speaker 1: starting Kirk Cousins. I get that they had a kind
- 18:33Speaker 1: of dust Kirk out there and it was his first start,
- 18:35Speaker 1: but you still should be able to beat the Dolphins.
- 18:38Speaker 1: So I don't know. It just this this team is
- 18:43Speaker 1: sort of a mind boggling team, the Falcons. I mean
- 18:46Speaker 1: it's the same team that did beat the Buffalo Bills
- 18:49Speaker 1: by ten earlier this year. So they'll get Penix back
- 18:53Speaker 1: and we'll see if that makes a difference. But I
- 18:55Speaker 1: don't know. The Patriots are playing really well right now.
- 19:00Speaker 1: If the Falcons win, it'll just be another example of
- 19:02Speaker 1: how consistently inconsistent they are, and it will take a
- 19:06Speaker 1: little bit away from the Patriots, who are playing really
- 19:08Speaker 1: good football right now. You know, they obviously beat the Bills,
- 19:13Speaker 1: so that's their signature win. Since then, it's been Saints Titans, Brown,
- 19:16Speaker 1: so you can't say they've been really playing a tough schedule.
- 19:19Speaker 1: But they got that. Bills won as the feather in
- 19:21Speaker 1: their cap forty nine Ers at Giants. So the forty
- 19:27Speaker 1: nine ers I took them last week because they were
- 19:30Speaker 1: getting points in Houston and I had no faith in
- 19:33Speaker 1: Houston and the forty nine ers have been playing really well.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I think where I was short sighted is that the
- 19:39Speaker 1: forty nine ers I had talked about their injuries on offense,
- 19:42Speaker 1: they had been able to overcome, but clearly losing not
- 19:47Speaker 1: only Bosa and not only Fred Warner, but they had
- 19:50Speaker 1: no Bryce Hoff. They are about as banged up on
- 19:54Speaker 1: defense as a team could possibly be, and they're still
- 19:58Speaker 1: banged up on offense. You know, no Pierce All, I
- 20:01Speaker 1: don't think he's gonna be able to play for a
- 20:02Speaker 1: mac Jones is gonna start, even though they say Brock
- 20:06Speaker 1: Purty is getting better and could be available. You know,
- 20:09Speaker 1: Kittles back, but they're just Ayuka is not yet back.
- 20:12Speaker 1: They're not full strength. Now. I still think they can
- 20:15Speaker 1: go into New York and beat this Giants team that
- 20:19Speaker 1: is obviously reeling from the loss of you know, not
- 20:22Speaker 1: having Camp Scatabu, which is going to have a widespread
- 20:25Speaker 1: effect on that team. But this game will probably be close.
- 20:30Speaker 1: You know, I think Dart is gonna give the Niners
- 20:33Speaker 1: some issues because the Niners just don't have a lot
- 20:35Speaker 1: of good defensive personnel right now. You know, the Eagles
- 20:38Speaker 1: did and woke back up. The Niners are a team.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I think the Giants will be able to move the
- 20:45Speaker 1: ball against gonna feed Tyrone Tracy. They're gonna try to
- 20:48Speaker 1: get the ball to Slayton and Wandale Robinson and their
- 20:51Speaker 1: tight end Theo Johnson and Bellinger there, They'll probably be
- 20:54Speaker 1: able to move the ball. It wouldn't surprise me if
- 20:56Speaker 1: this game was actually a little bit more of a
- 20:59Speaker 1: high scoring game, then you would think the totals forty
- 21:02Speaker 1: seven and a half over unders, which is, you know,
- 21:04Speaker 1: relatively high for the week I'm looking. There's only a
- 21:07Speaker 1: few games in the fifties, so I think that sounds
- 21:10Speaker 1: like Vegas and the odds makers are in line with
- 21:13Speaker 1: what I'm thinking. Is that both offenses are going to
- 21:15Speaker 1: be able to move the ball. The forty nine Ers
- 21:18Speaker 1: clearly have better offensive personnel. McCaffrey is liable to have
- 21:22Speaker 1: a huge game. Kittle could have a big game. So
- 21:24Speaker 1: I would if you put a gun to my head,
- 21:26Speaker 1: I would take the forty nine Ers. But honestly, this
- 21:29Speaker 1: could be anybody's game. Colts. Oh, I forgot to mention.
- 21:33Speaker 1: The Niners are two and a half point favorites Colts
- 21:36Speaker 1: at Steelers. The Colts are three and a half point
- 21:38Speaker 1: favorites on the road. The Steelers have been a very
- 21:42Speaker 1: up and down team. I think they've been a disappointing team.
- 21:44Speaker 1: They lost a really key player on defense and Deshaun
- 21:47Speaker 1: Elliott their safety. They traded for Kyle Dugger, but they've
- 21:51Speaker 1: lost two straight. You know, they really did not play
- 21:55Speaker 1: well in the second half against the Packers. They didn't
- 21:57Speaker 1: play well defensively at all. Weeks ago against the Bengals,
- 22:02Speaker 1: you know. I mean, they did beat the Browns, they'd
- 22:03Speaker 1: beat the Vikings in weeks four and six, but they
- 22:08Speaker 1: beat the Patriots in week three. So they're an interesting team.
- 22:12Speaker 1: They're very inconsistent. I just think they're running into a
- 22:15Speaker 1: Colts team that is playing so well right now that
- 22:19Speaker 1: it's gonna be tough for the Steelers defense to have
- 22:22Speaker 1: an answer. And let now, the Steelers are that team
- 22:27Speaker 1: that just when you think they're out, they get back
- 22:29Speaker 1: in and then just when you start to get on
- 22:31Speaker 1: them again and think they're good, then they blow it.
- 22:34Speaker 1: So I'm sure Mike Tomlin, I'm sure his message this
- 22:40Speaker 1: week is nobody believes we can beat the Colts. The
- 22:43Speaker 1: Colts have now replaced us and others as the team
- 22:45Speaker 1: to beat in the AFC, the Colts are gonna come
- 22:49Speaker 1: in here and think that they can just roll over us.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I am sure Mike Tomlin is gonna have the Steelers
- 22:54Speaker 1: at least ready to play in this game. But the
- 22:58Speaker 1: Colts have so much talent and they are playing so
- 23:01Speaker 1: well offensively and defensively that it's hard for me not
- 23:05Speaker 1: to think the Colts are gonna come out of here
- 23:06Speaker 1: at eight and one. And this is one of the
- 23:09Speaker 1: teams that you look for in the second half. Will
- 23:11Speaker 1: they continue to cement themselves as Super Bowl contenders, because
- 23:16Speaker 1: right now they look as legit as anybody, or will
- 23:19Speaker 1: they start to come back to earth a little bit
- 23:21Speaker 1: in the second half. I think if they lose this
- 23:23Speaker 1: game to the Steelers, people are gonna think they're gonna
- 23:26Speaker 1: start to regress to the mean a little bit. You
- 23:28Speaker 1: could have predicted that better quarterback play was gonna make
- 23:32Speaker 1: the Colts a much more viable team. You could not
- 23:35Speaker 1: have predicted that they would be seven to one after
- 23:38Speaker 1: eight games, with a realistic chance to be eight and
- 23:40Speaker 1: one at the halfway mark. So that's why I do
- 23:43Speaker 1: wonder are we going to look at them a little
- 23:45Speaker 1: differently after the Steelers game or are they just gonna
- 23:48Speaker 1: keep on keeping on and we're gonna think the Colts
- 23:51Speaker 1: are just that good. Halfway through the year. Last one
- 23:56Speaker 1: o'clock game, you got the Broncos at the Texans. The
- 23:58Speaker 1: Texans are two and a half points favorites. They're home,
- 24:02Speaker 1: they're three and four. They're playing a Broncos team that
- 24:07Speaker 1: is six and two and has a lights out defensive front. Now,
- 24:12Speaker 1: I know that they won't have Patrick's retain. He's out
- 24:16Speaker 1: for the game. But they've won five in a row. Uh,
- 24:19Speaker 1: They've dominated some teams. You know, They've dominated the Cowboys
- 24:23Speaker 1: by twenty. Last week, they did not dominate the Giants,
- 24:26Speaker 1: but they did in the fourth quarter of that game
- 24:28Speaker 1: with an epic comeback they beat the Eagles. So I'm
- 24:32Speaker 1: a little a little dubious. I'm why they're underdogs just
- 24:36Speaker 1: because of the other on the road to a Houston
- 24:39Speaker 1: team that has been just underwhelming all year long. And
- 24:43Speaker 1: you know, they're they've won one game they want to
- 24:46Speaker 1: They're on a one game win streak by beating the
- 24:48Speaker 1: forty nine ers. So I know, if I were Denver,
- 24:52Speaker 1: I would take that a little bit personally. And if
- 24:54Speaker 1: Sean Payton wants to use that as some kind of
- 24:56Speaker 1: ammo go for it, But I think the Broncos win
- 25:00Speaker 1: game and it wouldn't surprise me if they want to.
- 25:02Speaker 1: You know, easily. Texans have a very good defense. But
- 25:05Speaker 1: when their offense can't help them out, and it should
- 25:08Speaker 1: have a lot of issues against this Broncos defense, then
- 25:11Speaker 1: it wastes the Texans good defense. Hey, Philly fans, game
- 25:16Speaker 1: day is stressful enough. Parking, traffic, long lines, We've all
- 25:20Speaker 1: been there, But when it comes to your cannabis, Camden

- 26:00Speaker 1: community with specials for fans, students, service members, and healthcare pros.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Cammed inn Apothecary, top quality cannabis, great prices, and an
- 26:11Speaker 1: experience made for Philly fans. Twenty one and up. All right,
- 26:15Speaker 1: the four h five games. Excuse me, Jaguars at Raiders.
- 26:21Speaker 1: You want an ultimate who cares game? This is it?
- 26:23Speaker 1: I mean, who care? I mean the Raiders might wind
- 26:26Speaker 1: up trading well, you know, one or two receivers, maybe
- 26:28Speaker 1: some other players by the deadline. They're two and five.
- 26:32Speaker 1: They've played terribly. There isn't really much to look forward
- 26:36Speaker 1: to with them. You know, they got killed by the
- 26:38Speaker 1: Chiefs going into the buy thirty one nothing. There are
- 26:41Speaker 1: only two wins. You know, they had a nice I
- 26:43Speaker 1: always say Week one. What's my favorite phrase about Week one?
- 26:47Speaker 1: Week one is a con job? Okay, they beat the
- 26:51Speaker 1: Patriots in Week one twenty to thirteen in New England.
- 26:56Speaker 1: The Patriots have been much better ever since. And the
- 26:58Speaker 1: Raiders have lost six of seven games since I'm sorry,
- 27:02Speaker 1: five of six games since. And you know they host
- 27:06Speaker 1: Jacksonville Jaguars. Maybe the bye week helped them out. I
- 27:09Speaker 1: don't know, we'll see. I'm not loving the Jags either.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I don't think the Jags are a very good team.
- 27:16Speaker 1: They're also they're coming out of the buye. Maybe they
- 27:19Speaker 1: got some of their issues on offense self scouted throughout
- 27:22Speaker 1: the week, I would imagine that they really took a
- 27:24Speaker 1: look at what they can do to be more efficient
- 27:26Speaker 1: and better and more prolific offensively. But this game has
- 27:30Speaker 1: a real opportunity to just be a black game. Jacksonville
- 27:34Speaker 1: is two and a half point favorites. Another game four
- 27:38Speaker 1: or five. Saints at Rams. Rams are fourteen and a
- 27:41Speaker 1: half point favorites. Like I said, folks, the Lions this
- 27:44Speaker 1: week are just berserk, and I can't necessarily argue all
- 27:47Speaker 1: of them. I mean, the Saints are gonna turn the
- 27:49Speaker 1: ball over to Tyler Schuck. They picked them what like
- 27:53Speaker 1: fortieth overall in the second round, so it's about time
- 27:57Speaker 1: that at one and seven they see what he can do.
- 28:00Speaker 1: They take it. They've seen enough of Spencer Ratler. I
- 28:04Speaker 1: don't really know what Shuck is going to be able
- 28:07Speaker 1: to do much better, you know, maybe get the ball
- 28:08Speaker 1: to Rashid Jaheed, maybe get the ball to a Lave
- 28:11Speaker 1: a little more. But this is not a very good
- 28:14Speaker 1: Saints roster obviously, at one and seven and I don't
- 28:17Speaker 1: know how much this quarterback will be able to uplift them,
- 28:20Speaker 1: especially on the road. I guess a very good Rams scene.
- 28:23Speaker 1: The Rams are is as good as any team in
- 28:26Speaker 1: the league right now. They've won their last two games.
- 28:28Speaker 1: They beat the Ravens and the Jags. They killed the
- 28:30Speaker 1: Jags thirty five to seven. They had the bye week,
- 28:33Speaker 1: they come out fresh. They made a trade for Roger McCreary,
- 28:37Speaker 1: a good nickel corner. They do a lot on the
- 28:40Speaker 1: back end. They play a lot of nickel and dime.
- 28:44Speaker 1: I think they lead the NFL actually in dime, the
- 28:47Speaker 1: Rams do, so they've just added another piece to help
- 28:51Speaker 1: them become more movable and more optional. On the back end.
- 28:55Speaker 1: We all know they have a very good front four
- 28:56Speaker 1: rush with guys like Verse and Fisk and Young, and
- 29:00Speaker 1: they can throw a lot of different guys at you.
- 29:02Speaker 1: So Rams fourteen and a half point favorites for a reason.
- 29:05Speaker 1: I expect him to win. It will probably cruise and
- 29:08Speaker 1: at this point you're just looking to see if Tyler
- 29:11Speaker 1: Schuck does anything to uplift the Saints over the second
- 29:15Speaker 1: half of the season. The mark he for twenty five game.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Of course, Chiefs at Bills you know, the Bills are
- 29:23Speaker 1: coming off a big win against the Panthers, but I
- 29:25Speaker 1: just feel like the way the Chiefs are playing right now.
- 29:29Speaker 1: The Patrick Mahomes has just been hon a tear. He is.
- 29:31Speaker 1: He looks like he's having fun again. I mean, he's
- 29:34Speaker 1: throwing the ball around or she Rice does avior Worthy
- 29:38Speaker 1: Kelsey caught a touchdown last week. So the offense that
- 29:43Speaker 1: the Chiefs have looks so much more explosive and prolific
- 29:48Speaker 1: than what it's looked like over the last two years,
- 29:49Speaker 1: certainly in the Super Bowl. And by the way, Donovan
- 29:53Speaker 1: their their first round left tackle. Whose name is escaping
- 29:57Speaker 1: me right now. I want to say Donovan Smith, but
- 29:59Speaker 1: I don't think that's right. Their first round just Simmons, Simmons,
- 30:01Speaker 1: Jeff Simmons. Sorry, I was getting Donovan Jackson the guard
- 30:04Speaker 1: from Ohio State confused with Josh Simmons, left tackle from
- 30:08Speaker 1: Ohio State and mixed those names up. But anyway, Josh
- 30:12Speaker 1: Simmons is their left tackle. He's been away from the team.
- 30:15Speaker 1: I think it was for personal reasons. Something was going on,
- 30:18Speaker 1: so they were on their backup left tackle and they're
- 30:20Speaker 1: still still lighting up the scoreboard. All right. The Chiefs
- 30:25Speaker 1: are a very dangerous team right now. And even though
- 30:29Speaker 1: this game is in Buffalo, and even though the Bills
- 30:32Speaker 1: are coming off a very good win, it just sticks
- 30:34Speaker 1: out in my mind that the Bills had those two
- 30:37Speaker 1: losses back to back to the Patriots and the Falcons,
- 30:40Speaker 1: where they scored a total in those two games of
- 30:42Speaker 1: thirty four points. I know they scored forty against Carolina.
- 30:45Speaker 1: It just sticks out to me that the Bills, and
- 30:49Speaker 1: I know that they haven't had like prolific receiving threats
- 30:53Speaker 1: over the last two years. It's been Josh Allen this
- 30:56Speaker 1: and Josh Allen that, and he gets the ball to
- 30:58Speaker 1: this guy, and he gets the ball that guy, and
- 31:01Speaker 1: you know he's made it happen, even if he doesn't
- 31:03Speaker 1: have the biggest names. But you know Keon Coleman right now,
- 31:06Speaker 1: Dalton Kincaid. They haven't had Josh Palmer. I think he's
- 31:09Speaker 1: still hurt. They brought him in to be a deep threat.
- 31:11Speaker 1: I just I don't love their their playmaking on offense,
- 31:15Speaker 1: and I think they're gonna have to score thirty two
- 31:18Speaker 1: to forty points to beat the Chiefs. And even though
- 31:23Speaker 1: the Chiefs defense hasn't been great this year, I just
- 31:26Speaker 1: like the way the Chiefs are playing a little bit
- 31:28Speaker 1: more than the way the Bills are playing. Right now.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I think it'll be a good game. It's gonna be
- 31:33Speaker 1: fun to watch. You know, it's potentially yet and again
- 31:36Speaker 1: a preview of a playoff game, whether it's a divisional
- 31:39Speaker 1: round or a conference championship. But if you're asking me
- 31:42Speaker 1: right now, and by the way, the Chiefs are one
- 31:45Speaker 1: and a half point favorites in Buffalo, where the Bills
- 31:49Speaker 1: almost never lose, what does that tell you? All Right,
- 31:52Speaker 1: they're three and oh, yeah, they're three and oh this
- 31:55Speaker 1: year in Buffalo, I've had some big wins. They won
- 31:59Speaker 1: their opener against the Ravens. We all remember that forty
- 32:02Speaker 1: one forty beat the Dolphins by ten, beat the Saints
- 32:04Speaker 1: by twelve. So oh no, I'm sorry they did. They
- 32:08Speaker 1: lost that Patriots game in Buffalo. I forgot about that.
- 32:11Speaker 1: So they are three and one. But yeah, Chiefs are favorites.
- 32:15Speaker 1: And not only it's it's pretty You gotta be pretty
- 32:17Speaker 1: good to go into Orchard Park and be a favorite team.
- 32:21Speaker 1: So that just shows you, right now, how the league see,
- 32:24Speaker 1: how the odds makers see the Chiefs playing. And I
- 32:27Speaker 1: get it, and I think the Chiefs will win this game.
- 32:30Speaker 1: The Sunday night game is the Seahawks at Commanders. The
- 32:32Speaker 1: see this game, the Commanders just can't get you know,
- 32:35Speaker 1: they finally get Jayden and Daniels back. Now mclaurin's out.
- 32:39Speaker 1: McLaurin had come back the week before Jaydan Daniels was out.
- 32:41Speaker 1: They cannot get fully together healthy as a team. All right.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Seattle is two and a half point favorites, even though
- 32:49Speaker 1: this game is in Washington. Now. Daniels coming back should
- 32:52Speaker 1: help them, but McLaurin being out, it's like one step forward,
- 32:56Speaker 1: one step backward. And this is a very good Seattle team,
- 33:00Speaker 1: a well rested Seattle team now that I believe is
- 33:03Speaker 1: coming off the buy. So that's always dangerous for the Commanders.
- 33:08Speaker 1: I know the Seahawks, Julian Love's going to be out,
- 33:10Speaker 1: They've got some injuries all across their defense that they're
- 33:13Speaker 1: going to have to deal with. But I just I
- 33:15Speaker 1: don't think the Commanders can hit the Seahawks right now
- 33:19Speaker 1: where it hurts with their injuries because they have their
- 33:23Speaker 1: own offensive injuries that they're dealing with. Will the game
- 33:27Speaker 1: be close, Yeah, I can see the Commanders keeping it close.
- 33:30Speaker 1: I think Daniels can help make a difference. He can
- 33:32Speaker 1: be a neutralizer. Right now, the Seahawks have been able
- 33:35Speaker 1: to be a very good team despite the fact that
- 33:39Speaker 1: it is basically Sam Darnold to Jackson Smith and Jig.
- 33:43Speaker 1: But week after week after a week after week and
- 33:46Speaker 1: Jigma now has eight hundred and nineteen yards. I think
- 33:51Speaker 1: that's still almost one hundred yards more than the second
- 33:54Speaker 1: best receiver in the league. It was some crazy stat
- 33:56Speaker 1: like that. I always worry about that when it's so
- 34:00Speaker 1: one dimensional, but it's worked for the Seahawks. Their defense
- 34:04Speaker 1: has been good. I worry a little bit about sort
- 34:07Speaker 1: of this trap let down game against the Commander's team
- 34:10Speaker 1: that they should beat. Who's up next for them, because well,
- 34:14Speaker 1: they got a divisional game the next week against the Cardinals,
- 34:16Speaker 1: but the Cardinals aren't very good. But either way, wouldn't
- 34:22Speaker 1: be surprised if it was close. But the Seahawks will
- 34:25Speaker 1: probably win this game, and at six and two, if
- 34:28Speaker 1: they do it, they'll be looking very very good and competitive,
- 34:31Speaker 1: as they have for the last few weeks. And then
- 34:34Speaker 1: you get the Monday night game. It's not a very
- 34:36Speaker 1: good Monday night game. It's actually surprised that didn't get flexed.
- 34:40Speaker 1: You can flex the Monday night games now you have
- 34:42Speaker 1: to do it in advance. But it's the Cowboys at
- 34:45Speaker 1: home against the Cardinals. That's why it wasn't. It's the Cowboys.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Everybody's gonna watch it because it's the Cowboys, so no
- 34:50Speaker 1: need to flex somebody else in there. Cowboys are three
- 34:53Speaker 1: and a half point favorites. The Cardinals are looks like
- 34:56Speaker 1: they'll still be without Murray. Looks like Brissette will go again.
- 34:59Speaker 1: They've actually played we talk about this week after a week.
- 35:02Speaker 1: They've lost five in a row, but every single game
- 35:06Speaker 1: has been by less than five points, so they are
- 35:09Speaker 1: in every game, all right, So they'll probably go into
- 35:13Speaker 1: Dallas and fight because they that's what they do. But
- 35:17Speaker 1: I don't know. They certainly don't have the firepower to
- 35:20Speaker 1: hang with a Cowboys team that is getting really good
- 35:23Speaker 1: play from Dak Prescott, amazing play from Pickens, amazing running
- 35:29Speaker 1: game from Javonte Williams. I mean, offensively, the Dallas Cowboys
- 35:33Speaker 1: are really good. Now, they're clearly not a good team defensively,
- 35:37Speaker 1: and they're clearly not a very good team. I mean,
- 35:41Speaker 1: they went into Denver last week and did what everybody,
- 35:43Speaker 1: kind of everybody who was skeptical of the Cowboys. They
- 35:46Speaker 1: did what they thought they'd do. They didn't they didn't
- 35:48Speaker 1: play well. They lost by twenty. I mean, the Denver
- 35:51Speaker 1: had that game because the Denver has a great defense,
- 35:53Speaker 1: and when this great Cowboys offense goes up against a
- 35:56Speaker 1: really good defensive team, they're not the same. You saw
- 36:00Speaker 1: had no touchdowns to interceptions, and Arizona has a good defense.
- 36:04Speaker 1: They've played good defense all year. So I don't think
- 36:06Speaker 1: that the Cowboys are gonna roll away and win this
- 36:08Speaker 1: game by fourteen to sixteen, eighteen points or anything like that.
- 36:12Speaker 1: They're only three and a half point favorites. I expect
- 36:15Speaker 1: that they'll win. Wouldn't shock me if the Cardinals won.
- 36:18Speaker 1: This goes back to when you have games like the
- 36:22Speaker 1: Jets last week, when you're trying to pick games against
- 36:25Speaker 1: teams that are either winless or on long losing streaks.
- 36:29Speaker 1: You know that a win is eventually gonna come. You
- 36:31Speaker 1: just don't know when it's gonna come. So I don't
- 36:34Speaker 1: sit here and have the cojones to pick the Cardinals
- 36:36Speaker 1: to win this game, but it wouldn't shock me if
- 36:38Speaker 1: they did it. All At some point they're gonna win
- 36:40Speaker 1: a game and it's gonna be an upset, and Dallas
- 36:42Speaker 1: is just bad enough on defense with all their injuries
- 36:45Speaker 1: to lose the game. But if you're doing the pick them,
- 36:49Speaker 1: if you're in one of those leagues, it's kind of
- 36:51Speaker 1: hard to pick against the Cowboys in this situation, unless,
- 36:54Speaker 1: of course, you just hate the Cowboys and then it's easier. Hey,
- 36:57Speaker 1: I still like a good night out, but I'm not

- 38:28Speaker 1: and let me get to my pick. So last week
- 38:30Speaker 1: I was two and one for the second straight week.
- 38:32Speaker 1: So last two weeks I am four and two. I'm
- 38:35Speaker 1: starting to work my record back after a tough weeks
- 38:38Speaker 1: three through three, four, five and six. So I'm ten
- 38:41Speaker 1: and fourteen overall. I won on the chiefs giving the
- 38:45Speaker 1: commanders at eleven and a half. I mean they stopped
- 38:47Speaker 1: on the commanders last week I won on the Patriots
- 38:50Speaker 1: seven and a half over the Browns. They had a
- 38:52Speaker 1: big win there, and as I said, I lost on
- 38:55Speaker 1: the forty nine ers. I took them getting two and
- 38:57Speaker 1: a half at Houston. So some people learn from their
- 39:00Speaker 1: mistakes and some don't. I clearly do not, because once
- 39:04Speaker 1: again I'm gonna pick against the Texans as a home favorite.
- 39:09Speaker 1: All right, I'm going to go with the Broncos getting
- 39:12Speaker 1: two and a half points against the Texans. I just
- 39:15Speaker 1: I think the Broncos are the better team, and I
- 39:18Speaker 1: don't think the Texans offense is gonna function very well
- 39:21Speaker 1: against this Broncos defense. So I like the Broncos, especially
- 39:24Speaker 1: getting I like the Broncos to win out right, But
- 39:26Speaker 1: you're telling me they're getting two and a half. I'm
- 39:28Speaker 1: taking the Broncos Patriots four and a half against the Falcons. Yeah,
- 39:33Speaker 1: only because this is a realistic line. It's not one
- 39:37Speaker 1: of these crazy nine and a half, twelve and a half,
- 39:39Speaker 1: thirteen and a half lines that I've been talking about
- 39:41Speaker 1: that I'd like to stay away from. So the Patriots
- 39:44Speaker 1: are playing really well, the Falcons are not. Patriots are
- 39:47Speaker 1: are at home, so I will take them, giving the
- 39:50Speaker 1: Falcons four and a half points, and I'm gonna go
- 39:53Speaker 1: with the Colts, who I've been taking a lot lately
- 39:56Speaker 1: and they have not been letting me down three and
- 39:58Speaker 1: a half. I know it's in Pittsburgh. I don't normally
- 40:01Speaker 1: like to take road favorites in Pittsburgh at all. I'm
- 40:05Speaker 1: sure that overall, picking the road favorite against the Steelers
- 40:08Speaker 1: is not a good trend, but in this case, I'm
- 40:12Speaker 1: making an exception. I like the way the Colts are playing.
- 40:15Speaker 1: I think the Steelers are really tough on defense expect
- 40:17Speaker 1: I don't think this will be our route blowout, but
- 40:19Speaker 1: I could see the Colts winning this thing by anywhere
- 40:22Speaker 1: from seven to fourteen points. So Colts three and a
- 40:25Speaker 1: half at the Steelers. I'm taking the Colts, and those
- 40:29Speaker 1: are my picks. And as I tell you every week,
- 40:32Speaker 1: enjoy your football watching.
