- 0:01It is human nature to want to categorize and pigeonhole what
- 0:05happens? And make developments fit into
- 0:08definitions of our choosing. The same thing occurs when we
- 0:12look at openings of the spiritual nature and the
- 0:15development of or transformation of Consciousness, not only do we
- 0:21want to Define and categorize but we want to Overlay, our own
- 0:26preferred View and methods on to other people and use that
- 0:30template to try to understand and judge others, their
- 0:34spiritual practice and their inner development.
- 0:38SRI aurobindo reminds us that each individual has his own way
- 0:42to the realization, and we cannot there by either judge,
- 0:46that individuals progress in or force them to accept our
- 0:50definitions endless disputes can thus be avoided SRI.
- 0:56Aurobindo provides. The example of how we understand
- 0:59divine grace, those who do not accept intellectually.
- 1:03Any form of personal Divinity will not accept the concept of
- 1:08Divine grace looked at from their Viewpoint.
- 1:11However, SRI aurobindo finds a way to reconcile.
- 1:16The Viewpoint of those who accept a personal form of the
- 1:19Divine and those who do not The important thing here is not the
- 1:24label, the definition, the framework of understanding, but
- 1:29the reality of an opening, and a transformation of Consciousness,
- 1:33however, it occurs through whatever method attained, the
- 1:39change is welcomed and recognized as part of the
- 1:42evolutionary development within which all are involved.
- 1:46SRI aurobindo, observes, quote, each mind can have its own way
- 1:53of approaching the Supreme truth and there is an entrance for
- 1:57each as well as a thousand ways for the journey to it.
- 2:01It is not necessary to believe in the grace were to recognize a
- 2:06godhead different from one's highest self.
- 2:09There are ways of yoga that do not accept these things.
- 2:13Also for many, no form of yoga is necessary.
- 2:18They arrived at some realization by a sort of pressure of the
- 2:21mind or the heart or the will Breaking the screen between it,
- 2:25and what is it, once Beyond it and it's on source.
- 2:29What happens after the breaking of the screen?
- 2:33Depends on the play of the truth, on the Consciousness and
- 2:36the turn of the nature. There is no reason.
- 2:39Therefore, y x is realization of his being should not come, and
- 2:44its own way by growth from within not by the divine grace,
- 2:49if his mind, objects-- to that description.
- 2:53But let us say by the spontaneous movement of the self
- 2:56within him for as to This Grace, we describe it in that way
- 3:02because we feel in the infinite Spirit or self-existence, a
- 3:06presence, or a being a Consciousness that determines,
- 3:11that is what we speak of, as the Divine, not as separate person.
- 3:16But the one being of whom our individual self is a portion or
- 3:21a vessel. But it is not necessary for
- 3:24everybody to regard it that way. Supposing.
- 3:28It is the impersonal self of all only.
- 3:31Yet, the upanishads says of this self and its realization.
- 3:36This understanding is not to be gained by reasoning nor by
- 3:40tapasya, nor by much learning, but whom this self chooses to
- 3:45him, it reveals its own body. Well, that is the same thing.
- 3:50As what we call the divine grace, we can call it the self
- 3:54within choosing its own hour, and the way to manifest to the
- 3:58mental instrument, on the surface, we can call it the
- 4:02flowering of the inner being or inner nature into
- 4:04self-realization and self-knowledge as something in
- 4:08US approaches it or as it presents itself to us.
- 4:13So, the Mind sees it, but in reality, it is the same thing
- 4:17and the same. Process of the being in nature
