- 0:00Speaker 1: Carolyn Fogg, what do we need to know today?
- 0:02Speaker 2: Okay, this is something that's causing a lot of controversy.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's become super viral. I don't know if you guys
- 0:08Speaker 2: have seen it.
- 0:08Speaker 3: I know, Rich, you have.
- 0:09Speaker 2: We were just talking about it this morning. There's a
- 0:10Speaker 2: video of an ASU student. Her name is Erin Bonner,
- 0:13Speaker 2: and she's getting arrested on Mill Avenue. And this video
- 0:15Speaker 2: is blowing up. Once you see it, you kind of
- 0:18Speaker 2: understand why people have so many opinions about it. So
- 0:21Speaker 2: the video kind of starts when police are arresting two
- 0:23Speaker 2: guys that she knew. They were in a fight. She
- 0:25Speaker 2: kept coming over and kind of yelling at the officers
- 0:27Speaker 2: to let one of the guys go. Police repeatedly told
- 0:30Speaker 2: her to back up. And at one point, though, an
- 0:33Speaker 2: officer literally shoves her to the ground. She gets back
- 0:36Speaker 2: up to approach him again. Then things get physical. The
- 0:39Speaker 2: video then shows her being thrown into a police bike
- 0:42Speaker 2: on the ground. There is a struggle where she's hitting
- 0:45Speaker 2: the officer multiple times. And then he clocks her right
- 0:48Speaker 2: in the face. which is why you can hear the outrage.
- 0:53Speaker 2: That's where it's coming from. She now has a lawyer
- 0:55Speaker 2: who says what we're seeing on this video is excessive force.
- 0:59Speaker 2: She wants the officer fired. And police are saying you
- 1:03Speaker 2: have to look at everything that happened and not just
- 1:05Speaker 2: the viral clips. She is now facing two misdemeanor charges,
- 1:09Speaker 2: which she has pled not guilty to. And the Tempe
- 1:11Speaker 2: Police Department says they are reviewing whether the officer's actions
- 1:14Speaker 2: were appropriate or not.
- 1:16Speaker 3: It is intense.
- 1:18Speaker 2: It's tough to watch.
- 1:19Speaker 3: It's violent. Yeah.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Well, she's interfering with an arrest or something, right? I mean,
- 1:25Speaker 1: the cop is doing his job and she's getting away.
- 1:28Speaker 1: And these cops put their life on the line. I
- 1:29Speaker 1: haven't seen the video.
- 1:30Speaker 4: You've got to watch the video.
- 1:31Speaker 1: But these cops put their life on the line every
- 1:33Speaker 1: single day. They don't know if she's got a knife
- 1:34Speaker 1: or a gun or a grenade.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I mean, I haven't seen it yet.
- 1:37Speaker 2: You should watch the video. Definitely watch the video. But
- 1:40Speaker 2: I know what you're saying. And they're saying there's two
- 1:43Speaker 2: sides to the story right now. So people are arguing
- 1:45Speaker 2: both ways. Um, it's really tough to watch though. If
- 1:49Speaker 2: you are job hunting right now and staring at listings thinking, um,
- 1:52Speaker 2: I don't even know if I even qualify for this.
- 1:55Speaker 2: LinkedIn wants AI to figure it out for you. So
- 1:57Speaker 2: they are adding an AI career coach that can look
- 2:00Speaker 2: at your experience and kind of already knows your personality
- 2:04Speaker 2: and suggest jobs you might actually be fit for, tell
- 2:07Speaker 2: you what skills you're missing and even help you kind
- 2:09Speaker 2: of get ready for the interview. which I think is
- 2:11Speaker 2: pretty cool.
- 2:12Speaker 1: That'd be fun for all of us to do is
- 2:13Speaker 1: to tell us what jobs we should really have.
- 2:15Speaker 3: That'd be great.
- 2:16Speaker 1: How do you do it?
- 2:16Speaker 4: Radio?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Definitely not qualified for that.
- 2:19Speaker 4: What do you do again?
- 2:20Speaker 1: How do you do it? What do you do?
- 2:20Speaker 2: LinkedIn. You go on LinkedIn and they have like a
- 2:22Speaker 2: new AI career coach.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I don't have a LinkedIn. Rich, you have a LinkedIn.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Find out what you should really be doing and then
- 2:27Speaker 1: go do it. I'll do it. My friend John Jay
- 2:31Speaker 1: doesn't even have a LinkedIn. What should he do? Do
- 2:33Speaker 1: you guys have LinkedIn?
- 2:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Maybe. I don't know.
- 2:37Speaker 1: So if you have one, Peyton, you have one, Rich,
- 2:39Speaker 1: you guys should do it for fun and see what
- 2:40Speaker 1: it says. Okay.
- 2:42Speaker 2: If your kid has ever asked to use ChatGPT and
- 2:45Speaker 2: you've thought, I don't think you're old enough for that.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I don't know if that's appropriate. OpenAI is like, let's
- 2:49Speaker 2: make it appropriate. So they just launched ChatGPT Junior specifically
- 2:54Speaker 2: for kids under 13. Apparently, there are stronger filters, parental controls.
- 2:59Speaker 2: You can actually link their account to yours. and set
- 3:01Speaker 2: whatever limits and control certain features that you want.
- 3:04Speaker 1: The robots are everywhere. All the stuff I ask chat
- 3:06Speaker 1: GPT is pretty much the education level of someone.
- 3:09Speaker 4: 13 and under.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Right.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:12Speaker 2: We all know AI glasses, they're around. They are somewhat
- 3:15Speaker 2: becoming a normal thing people wear, but they are already
- 3:19Speaker 2: getting banned in places. A lot of places already have
- 3:22Speaker 2: signs up saying, yeah, you can't wear those in here. Specifically,
- 3:25Speaker 2: Norway is leading the charge in this, moving to a
- 3:27Speaker 2: temporary ban in certain public places because if somebody walks
- 3:31Speaker 2: in wearing those glasses, people around them may have no
- 3:34Speaker 2: idea that they're being recorded and.
- 3:35Speaker 1: That's not really cool.
- 3:37Speaker 2: So you may actually start seeing signs pop up in gyms,
- 3:40Speaker 2: You might see them in restaurants that say no AI glasses,
- 3:44Speaker 2: no phone. It's kind of like, you know, no phones
- 3:45Speaker 2: at school, like no AI glasses at schools as well.
- 3:48Speaker 2: So just keep an eye out for those. This is
- 3:51Speaker 2: super cool and something that we will continue to follow.
- 3:54Speaker 2: An Arizona singer. She's actually from Tucson. Her name is
- 3:57Speaker 2: Kaylee Matthews. She was on The Voice last night and
- 4:00Speaker 2: she performed. It's their blind auditions right now. So she's
- 4:04Speaker 2: on the stage. The four judges or coaches are turned around.
- 4:08Speaker 2: She sings Vince Gill's When I Call Your Name. And
- 4:12Speaker 2: before she even gets through the chorus, every single coach
- 4:15Speaker 2: had turned for her.
- 4:22Speaker 4: There's nobody else to.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Blame. All four chairs turn around. You got Kelly Clarkson,
- 4:36Speaker 2: Adam Levine, Riley Greene, and Queen Latifah all fighting over her.
- 4:40Speaker 2: And then it comes down to, well, she has to
- 4:42Speaker 2: pick which coach she wants to work with. I got
- 4:45Speaker 2: to just go with my heart and my gut and
- 4:48Speaker 2: what I know. And I would love the opportunity to
- 4:52Speaker 2: work with Queen Latifah.
- 4:56Speaker 4: I'm excited to work with country. I love country music,
- 5:00Speaker 4: but she's beyond country. Country is also soul, rhythm, blues.
- 5:04Speaker 4: You know, I'm just here to make sure that she
- 5:07Speaker 4: has fuel and play. Go.
- 5:10Speaker 2: So the blind auditions actually end tonight, and it'll be
- 5:13Speaker 2: interesting to watch Kaylee's journey to see an Arizona girly compete.
- 5:16Speaker 4: It's pretty fun.
- 5:16Speaker 3: She sounds great.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's what you need to know.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Ashley. Yes, hi. Speaking of The Voice, we have a
- 5:23Speaker 1: $ 250 gift card. If you get this voice question right. Rich,
- 5:28Speaker 1: what do you got?
- 5:29Speaker 3: Contested Brandon Diaz, Ashley Diaz first appeared on The Voice
- 5:34Speaker 3: season four when he was 14 years old. He did
- 5:37Speaker 3: not get a chair turn, but he's back this season
- 5:40Speaker 3: and gets two of the coaches to turn their chairs
- 5:42Speaker 3: with the other two regretting that they didn't push their buttons. Now,
- 5:45Speaker 3: Brandon goes with his gut and picks the coach that
- 5:48Speaker 3: turned first. Which coach was it? Oh, you broke out
- 5:55Speaker 3: on the last one.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Was the question, what coach did he pick?
- 5:58Speaker 3: Which coach did he pick?
- 6:01Speaker 1: Okay. Queen Latifah.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Queen Latifah. And Adam Tern. Well, you are right. He
- 6:11Speaker 3: did pick Queen Latifah, so that means you win. Way
- 6:13Speaker 3: to go, Ashley. Yay!
- 6:15Speaker 1: Yeah, the voice is back.
- 6:16Speaker 4: Adam turned and Queen Latifah, and he picked Queen Latifah.
- 6:19Speaker 3: That's right. Watch and listen to The Voice and listen
- 6:21Speaker 3: to us every morning for a chance to win $ 250.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Don't miss The Voice tonight at 7 on NBC 12 News.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Our NBTweet, whichever you want to say.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Hi, Ashley. Congratulations. Thanks for listening.
