  - Hello, and welcome to today's daily prayer.

  - Today's focus is dealing with
• 1:24
  - what to do when we keep doubting ourselves.
• 1:28
  - Scripture context comes from second Timothy one and
• 1:30
  - seven
• 1:31
  - and reads, for God has not given us
• 1:33
  - a spirit of fear, but of power and
• 1:35
  - of love and of sound mind.
• 1:39
  - You know,
• 1:40
  - I think that one of the biggest challenges
• 1:42
  - of being a believer today
• 1:45
  - is,
• 1:47
  - doubt
• 1:48
  - and fear.
• 1:50
  - I mean, it's almost like
• 1:52
  - it it's it's,
• 1:54
  - a prerequisite
• 1:55
  - sometimes of being human. Right?
• 1:58
  - And in earlier episodes, we've talked about that
• 2:00
  - there are healthy fears. Right? You should have
• 2:03
  - healthy fears.
• 2:04
  - And we never want to,
• 2:07
  - be full of pride and arrogant, but be
• 2:10
  - confident
• 2:11
  - in ourselves and and the abilities that God
• 2:13
  - gives us, but not so much so where,
• 2:16
  - it becomes prideful and
• 2:19
  - we don't allow God to get the glory
• 2:21
  - out of our lives.
• 2:23
  - And
• 2:24
  - the flip side of that is is that
• 2:26
  - we can doubt
• 2:28
  - when God speaks to us
• 2:30
  - or
• 2:31
  - that God wants us to have good things
• 2:33
  - or
• 2:35
  - that we can actually do what God has
• 2:37
  - assigned us to do, whether it's,
• 2:40
  - giving a kind word or
• 2:42
  - witnessing to someone about the,
• 2:44
  - the goodness of God or
• 2:47
  - telling someone a portion of our story
• 2:50
  - to to make that connection.
• 2:53
  - Self doubt
• 2:54
  - often disguises itself as humility,
• 2:58
  - but
• 3:00
  - not for the right reasons.
• 3:03
  - It often
• 3:05
  - causes us to question our abilities, our calling,
• 3:08
  - and even God's work in our lives. And
• 3:11
  - when we are experiencing those things, that's not
• 3:14
  - humility.
• 3:16
  - Humility
• 3:17
  - acknowledges that we have these
• 3:19
  - capabilities,
• 3:21
  - but that
• 3:23
  - all of the things that we're doing, we
• 3:25
  - do it with a,
• 3:27
  - mindset of knowing that it's not really us
• 3:31
  - that's the the focus, but rather the God
• 3:34
  - in us. And we are the conduit in
• 3:36
  - which God's
• 3:38
  - word and the spirit and whatever it is
• 3:41
  - that he's called us to do is being
• 3:43
  - done.
• 3:45
  - It's saying that God,
• 3:47
  - if you can get
• 3:49
  - anything
• 3:50
  - good out of this vessel,
• 3:53
  - then by all means
• 3:54
  - do so for your glory.
• 3:57
  - And so I wanna encourage you today that
• 3:59
  - if
• 4:00
  - you've been called to do something and you're
• 4:02
  - not sure what it is, you know, maybe,
• 4:05
  - you have a natural knack for,
• 4:07
  - evangelism. You know, some people, they just know,
• 4:10
  - how to hype people up and draw people
• 4:12
  - in. Right? Or
• 4:14
  - maybe it's
• 4:16
  - giving a kind word to someone. Some sometimes
• 4:19
  - some people have the gift of admonishment.
• 4:22
  - Never be afraid
• 4:24
  - to to use the gifts that God has
• 4:26
  - given you because they're given
• 4:28
  - for the glory and the building of the
• 4:31
  - kingdom. And you never know that very
• 4:34
  - thing that you're doubting whether or not God
• 4:36
  - has given you to use might just be
• 4:39
  - the the thing that wins that soul to
• 4:41
  - Christ and make a difference in that person's
• 4:43
  - life for the day.
• 4:45
  - So
• 4:46
  - know that God has not given us the
• 4:48
  - spirit of fear. And even if you are
• 4:51
  - being fearful, God does not tell us
• 4:54
  - that fear won't happen.
• 4:56
  - He tells us that he's with us and
• 4:59
  - to be courageous.
• 5:01
  - And the way we do that is to
• 5:02
  - know that greater is he that is in
• 5:04
  - us than he that is in the world,
• 5:07
  - and he gives what he wants us to
• 5:09
  - have to do that
• 5:11
  - with love.
• 5:13
  - And when we do it, we'll have a
• 5:15
  - sound mind. We'll have a peace about it
• 5:18
  - that will,
• 5:19
  - surpass all understanding.
• 5:22
  - Having said that,
• 5:24
  - let's pray together.
• 5:26
  - Heavenly
• 5:27
  - father, replace our doubts with confidence in you.
• 5:30
  - Remind us that strength does not come from
• 5:33
  - perfection, but
• 5:35
  - from your power at work within us.
• 5:38
  - Help us trust in the gifts that you've
• 5:41
  - given us and the paths you've prepared for
• 5:43
  - us.
• 5:44
  - Strengthen our minds through the word and through
• 5:47
  - prayer and steady our hearts.
• 5:49
  - And we will bless you in Jesus name.
