- 0:01Hello and welcome to another episode of the Christian way
- 0:04podcast. Today's guest is the host of
- 0:07Brock's conversations for the end of the world.
- 0:09He's a podcaster, is name is Brock.
- 0:11Teal, welcome to the podcast. How you doing, bro?
- 0:15Thank you so much for letting me in, man, I'm doing great.
- 0:19Glad to hear it, man. Thank you for agreeing to be
- 0:21part of the podcast. And speaking of podcasts, tell
- 0:24us about your podcast. What's it about?
- 0:27And why did you choose to begin it?
- 0:30Honestly it was just kind of I would say it was a
- 0:35spur-of-the-moment thing but I've always been really
- 0:38intrigued and interested through podcasting in the medium the the
- 0:43the freeness of it. And honestly I guess it just
- 0:47took the world almost ending last year and a little bit in
- 0:51this year. It's so it seems to just be like
- 0:54hey if I don't do it then I'm going to regret it.
- 0:57So I just decided to jump in. I'm like hey Hundred years.
- 1:00They're not going to know who I am.
- 1:01Anyway. So if it's a, if it's a complete
- 1:04fuckup than I mean, nobody's going to really know about see
- 1:08how it's a think I'll start going please.
- 1:10No, no. That was, it literally, I was
- 1:13just going to add to that. That like and I've said this to
- 1:15a few of my guests that have also been podcast is that
- 1:18there's such an abundance of podcasts now.
- 1:22And like, I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing.
- 1:25I mean, I think it's good in the sense that there's so many
- 1:27different varieties and so many, you know, Like True Crime
- 1:30podcast, Sports podcast, movie podcast, and so on.
- 1:34So I think it's good that we have so much variety but there's
- 1:38so many people that just start a podcast and then kind of I don't
- 1:44think they have like a general direction or an understanding or
- 1:47what they want to do with it. And and that's why it will
- 1:50generally not last past like 20 episodes or something like that.
- 1:53And the reason that I keep bringing this up and hammering
- 1:57this home to my audience as well as that like you.
- 2:00Recently I've just passed 50 episodes and as my viewers are
- 2:03aware, you know, I was with a podcast before that, you know,
- 2:06and I've said this a few times as well.
- 2:08I've I've wanted to do a podcast for years.
- 2:11I'm so you mentioned in that in that little blurb, just then
- 2:14that, you know, something that you've wanted to do to do, but
- 2:16you are waiting for that moment and then a moment comes our.
- 2:19It's like if I'm going to do it now is the time kind of thing
- 2:22and it is it was the same for me like years ago.
- 2:24I was thinking about doing a rust wrestling podcast but I
- 2:27mean there's about a million of them and So I wondered like
- 2:31well, and that's the thing I always wanted to do something
- 2:33that, you know, I could talk about that, but I could also
- 2:36talk about anything else. Because I've always been in that
- 2:38mindset of not having any restrictions with regards to
- 2:42what you're doing and just yeah, bring it back.
- 2:46Like I think that it is very important to have like a Clear
- 2:49Vision for what you want to do sort of moving forward and then
- 2:53to kind of develop over time, you know what I mean?
- 2:55It's like if you listen even the first few episodes I did on my
- 2:58podcast, Like I still have the same structure as far as like
- 3:02the research side of things but I'm still trying to figure out I
- 3:06guess the flow and like getting confident with it and knowing
- 3:10like you know okay this is generally what we're going to do
- 3:13this is the experiment or side and so on you know.
- 3:17Yeah absolutely man like I mean even if you look some of the
- 3:19biggest podcast today obviously not the ones that set it up as a
- 3:24this is what I will do. So it needs to be professional.
- 3:27I have this YouTuber Vine tick-tock.
- 3:29Experience, but if you look at like Joe Rogan, it's I mean,
- 3:34it's bad. Like his first hundred episodes
- 3:37are of a dismal quality, but I mean that's that's the
- 3:44fascinating thing is, well like I know what you mean.
- 3:46Like, I tried to go back and watch them and let no no offense
- 3:50to him. You know, we've all got start
- 3:52somewhere but I think that's called it out himself.
- 3:55He calls it out. Himself is like there's, there's
- 3:57no offense to be given because he agrees Scent.
- 4:00But that's the thing. I think that kind of stands as a
- 4:05testament to him that he you know, still did like a hundred
- 4:08episodes and then kept going and then it's evolved into what it
- 4:12is now and I think people kind of can relate to that
- 4:16consistency in that passion that you have.
- 4:18And, you know, I mean, look at some of the guests that he's
- 4:20landed on there. Like most people would never
- 4:23have gone on this years ago, everyone.
- 4:27Yeah. And you even if you look it's
- 4:29the Same guest, it's always our shaffir Duncan Trussell.
- 4:34Brian Red Band, Joey Diaz, I mean, the first hundred
- 4:38episodes. It's the same six or seven,
- 4:40guys. And then like, it's arriving
- 4:43today, even today. No one would even dare think
- 4:47about for the first hundred episodes.
- 4:48I'm literally going to have the same four Dudes on.
- 4:50You need to be a dead podcast. People wouldn't take you.
- 4:53Seriously. Almost see you say that, but I
- 4:55think it really does depend because I had the same fear with
- 4:59my podcast. You know like starting I didn't
- 5:01want to just have the same people again and again this is
- 5:04this is why I've always reached out and luckily now it seems to
- 5:07be a mixture of finding people and places like Reddit.
- 5:10Sometimes people, you know, will contact me through my website or
- 5:15like through things like LinkedIn of all places, you
- 5:17know. So it's beginning to build up
- 5:19and I think the word is slowly spreading, right?
- 5:22But at the same time, you know, sometimes you can just have a
- 5:25drought where you just don't have any guests.
- 5:27And I think you have to have a bit of a contingencies plan It's
- 5:30like, for example, I've done episodes where it's just me
- 5:33talking, I still believe in those episodes.
- 5:36I still think they're very good and I would still do them in the
- 5:39future. But I would hold my hands up and
- 5:41say, hey, the, the interviews are better.
- 5:43There are always better because every person you bring on, it's
- 5:46a different individual. The chemistry is going to be
- 5:49different. Everything's going to be
- 5:51different and to some extent, you know, because I've seen a
- 5:55lot, I've been on a quite a few different podcast where
- 5:58sometimes it's a group. Noise, same people every time
- 6:03but obviously, they have written guests each time.
- 6:05Also, you know, there's been people who never had a guest up
- 6:09until I came on. And, you know, they didn't have
- 6:12a guest Pastor, which I've always found very strange, like,
- 6:14why would you open up and then just go back to having no
- 6:17guests, whatever, you know, everyone's got their own Star,
- 6:19right? But that's the tricky thing.
- 6:22If you can't find people, you can't find people and like, you
- 6:25might as well use the people you have, or I don't know.
- 6:27Because again, going back to my Previous point when it's just
- 6:31you, it's very tricky to Captivate The Listener I think
- 6:37and I still approach it the same way I would with my interviews
- 6:41as far as like the structure is concerned.
- 6:44But I always look at like, how those episodes perform compared
- 6:47to everything else and it's not lost on me that it's just not as
- 6:51engage. Even some of my favorite
- 6:53podcasters if it's just them. Not as interesting.
- 6:57Yeah, not really except for eight.
- 7:00For me, I found the the exception for that to be Tim
- 7:03Dylan. I don't know if you've American
- 7:05comedian, I don't know if you watch him, but I mean, he's had
- 7:09Candace Owens on. He's had and again, you might
- 7:11not know, even know who that is. But Candace Owens Andrew Schult
- 7:17a lot of. He's been, he's been on.
- 7:19Yeah, he's been on Joe Rogan a couple times but he does a lot
- 7:23of his stuff are just like hour-and-a-half two-hour, long,
- 7:26Rants and their his stare. Urkel like I mean, like true,
- 7:32true, comedy genius, but then, and as you said, like, with the,
- 7:38with the guest thing, I had that fear, too, but then I remember
- 7:42listening to Philip DeFranco on like he's like, hey guys, this
- 7:48is 2020 if you, and this is really what kind of pushed me at
- 7:51that final, that final little like, I was standing at the
- 7:53edge, my toes were hanging off the side and the Philip DeFranco
- 7:56comes up and just like, just Yeats me off the building.
- 8:00If you're going to do anything, 2020 is the year to start
- 8:03something and I'm like, fuck it. That's it.
- 8:05I'm going to do it. And then like five seconds later
- 8:08he's like, but you've got to get on every social media Network
- 8:14possible and for the longest time, I had not wanted to get on
- 8:20Tick Tock because I know how addictive it looks like you
- 8:24start out there. You don't even have to click on
- 8:26anything, you open the app and the first video is boom on your
- 8:29page. Age.
- 8:30But I'm kind of sad and kind of excited to say a majority of the
- 8:37podcast. I'm that I'm going to have in
- 8:39the next month has been guessed that I have found on Tick Tock
- 8:42because you'll just scroll through the for you page.
- 8:45Hey look, it's crazy. You scroll through the for you
- 8:47page, just mindlessly. You find something.
- 8:50And somebody that interest, you, you go to their Tech talk if
- 8:54they've got 10,000 Subs on Tick-Tock and they have their
- 8:57Instagram attached to it, I guarantee you they have a
- 9:02Thousand Instagram followers and are begging for attention.
- 9:06They got that. God is the like I found, like,
- 9:10six guys in the UK, one does need one's a cosplayer.
- 9:16One does metalwork. I like the just the broadest
- 9:21array of guest possible. Like I even found a state
- 9:26representative from my home state, who will be introducing a
- 9:30bill to make It illegal for any State University to accept money
- 9:37from the Chinese communist government, which we actually
- 9:40have a university that has like a thousand Terracotta soldiers
- 9:44from the billions of dollars they've gotten from the Chinese
- 9:47government and he's just like we're not letting that happen.
- 9:51I'm putting that into a law and I was like, hey man, come on the
- 9:54podcast. I'll talk to you.
- 9:55So like I mean I never thought like within 50 episodes I'd have
- 10:01liked I paid politician. I thought I'd have like some
- 10:05random incumbent or not incumbent but like spokesperson
- 10:09just like yeah. No.
- 10:10I do. I do Facebook videos.
- 10:11They do. All right.
- 10:12But no, like really has like kind of shocked me how how
- 10:18scared I was, but also how easy it is if you just have all these
- 10:22nets and you just throw them all out at the same time?
- 10:25Yeah, I couldn't agree more. Um, like I mentioned before, how
- 10:29you know I've started sort of publishing episodes okay?
- 10:32Asian your LinkedIn and finding people through there.
- 10:34And I think that because of some of the people that have been
- 10:38reaching out to me and who I found it's kind of laid a
- 10:42platform. Now that people look at the
- 10:44podcast and go, okay, so it's not just, you know, for
- 10:47YouTubers or podcasters, but business owners and actors and
- 10:51musicians and you know, every time I interview anyone, the way
- 10:56that I do my questions is always different.
- 10:58Like the Iroquois kind of flows the same way.
- 11:01As far as I don't know, like asking about the main projects,
- 11:04they do asking about their life, where they're from Etc, right?
- 11:08But if I'm going to interview a musician versus a business
- 11:11owner, the focus is totally different, and that's why I
- 11:15totally agree with your point about like, being in those
- 11:17different Nets because not only does it kind of spread awareness
- 11:21about you, but also it gives you more access to other people and
- 11:25to make more connections and like you said, you've got a
- 11:27politician appearing, that's fantastic.
- 11:29Like I've had some really interesting business.
- 11:32Stoners on my podcast, and I have some some coming in the
- 11:35future in the coming month and I think a lot of that does kind of
- 11:42come down to like establishing a format that people can kind of
- 11:46trust them a lion and and follow as well.
- 11:49Because a lot of the time you hear so many podcasts where
- 11:54people are not really putting forward, like a structured easy
- 11:58to listen to product. It's like you It goes from one
- 12:03thing to the next and it doesn't really follow like that kind of
- 12:07like pathway Direction. I don't know.
- 12:10But I mean right now we're talking about podcasts, right?
- 12:12If we suddenly start talking about I don't know the Vietnam
- 12:15War and we talked about that for an hour and then we do know that
- 12:18mean it's gone off the rails. You got to always bring it back
- 12:21to the subject and focus on that.
- 12:22And because I suppose like I don't think about this a lot,
- 12:26but I do try to think about it about how when you're listening
- 12:30to the podcast where ever you are.
- 12:31You could be Be at home, you could be going to work you, I
- 12:34don't know. Whatever you're doing.
- 12:35You want something that you can kind of follow maybe zone out?
- 12:40So it doesn't really matter. But like something you can
- 12:41follow that doesn't just kind of go off on a tangent so to speak
- 12:45and I think a lot of people kind of make that mistake and then
- 12:49then they get frustrated like I say off the like so many
- 12:51episodes of like oh why is this not going anywhere?
- 12:53And it's like because people can't follow what you're doing.
- 12:56Yeah. But anyways what have been your
- 13:02Topics to discuss in the podcast so far.
- 13:05I mean, I've had about, let's see, I think I've had just about
- 13:10ten episodes out, okay. Um, I've talked to have talked
- 13:14to my friends, on my first episode was just like me and my
- 13:18friend and the mic and way it was just an audio only and I had
- 13:21to work with iMovie a bit to just but it'd be able to put it
- 13:23up on YouTube, and that was just general.
- 13:26Just general, just banter. I know the second episode.
- 13:32But end the affair official. First episode was what wins was
- 13:35some small business owners, they have a so I live in a town
- 13:40called are written and it has one high school.
- 13:43It has a small chemical Factory and it has a small metal
- 13:48fabrication and about three thousand people.
- 13:52It's not a very big town at all but and tradition.
- 13:57Traditionally we had one restaurant open, won't name the
- 14:01restaurant, but you wouldn't be at, you wouldn't be able to find
- 14:04even if I did, I could give you the postcode and, like the
- 14:07address and you still won't be able to find it there.
- 14:09Be like, that's an empty lot. But in about five years ago, it
- 14:12closed. So the kind of what limited food
- 14:16culture. We had just disappear until A 17
- 14:22and 15 year old brother from Mexico and their family moved
- 14:27from San Jose from Mexico to San Jose, then to Alabama, where
- 14:32their grandparents lived. And these and I say this with
- 14:36the utmost respect towards them. But for emphasis, these children
- 14:42opened up a taco truck and have single-handedly taken over just
- 14:48taking over the town like they have all the The money now, like
- 14:51you, you drive past their place, there's six or seven cars parked
- 14:55on the side of the road obscure obstructing traffic, and there's
- 14:59like in the middle of a pandemic, there's like 20 people
- 15:03distance as they met in the open are waiting for their stuff.
- 15:07They're not even rushing there like like one part.
- 15:09Like I remember going up there and one person's like, hey,
- 15:11what's taking so long and everyone jumped on.
- 15:13It's like, you will wait for your food.
- 15:15It'll be worth it now hush, and let us enjoy our conversations
- 15:18while we wait for ours, like There's no, there's no Karen's
- 15:22up, they're ruining everything because the Karen's are like, if
- 15:27I start bitching, they're not going to make me food and this
- 15:30stuff is delicious. So I was like, I've got to have
- 15:34them on and then I find out they're actually opening their
- 15:37own brick and mortar restaurant. I'm like, oh, I've got to have
- 15:39them on now so that episode is up.
- 15:44Third episode was with a couple of friends that I met over it.
- 15:49Different Comic Cons. Old manga artist Steve Binet.
- 15:53Shout out to him, Charles Monsanto producer.
- 15:58Let me see. There's a couple of other like,
- 16:02small business owners from speckled across the country and
- 16:07I just got done with a cosplayer from the UK Michael from MW
- 16:11cosplay. So I mean, it really has been
- 16:14just like random darts on the board, but I love every
- 16:17conversation I've had and in all It's kind of Addicting.
- 16:21Like I kind of don't want to stop but I only have so many
- 16:25hours in the day. Yeah, I know the feeling I
- 16:28remember one day I actually tried to do to podcasts in one
- 16:31day that pulled it off, but yeah, it's so draining.
- 16:35Oh my God, it's just talking people.
- 16:37People don't realize that when you're having a proper
- 16:39conversation, a proper discussion.
- 16:41Not to someone talking at you but an actual conversation
- 16:44you're thinking and listening and thinking again.
- 16:48And obviously, as you know, when you're doing the podcast.
- 16:50First it's much easier to be the guest than it is to be the
- 16:53podcast because when you're the podcast you got to listen guide
- 16:56the conversation and order it in your head and just do all of
- 16:59these things at once. It's a yeah it takes a lot of
- 17:02energy so I totally get where you're coming from on that one.
- 17:06Like even with like chess players.
- 17:08I remember hearing this statistic, how are not the
- 17:11statistic but I like an atlas stories about how masterclass
- 17:16chess players after like huge competitions, they Be just
- 17:22drained like they would like, they won't be able to sleep or
- 17:25they would. All they would do is sleep for
- 17:27days. And what's like scientist?
- 17:30Got a? Hold of them.
- 17:31It turned out that these guys were burning like 10,000
- 17:34calories worth of energy a day. Just off of the processes going
- 17:38off in their head like planning ahead on the chess games.
- 17:41So yeah, like and these guys didn't know it so they were
- 17:44literally just eating like Refreshments like tiny salads
- 17:48and lemon juice is they weren't liking this He's giant protein
- 17:51bars that they should honestly be eating because the burn that
- 17:54many calories a day and it's also a testament to their skill
- 18:00because me playing chess all day.
- 18:03I'm not burning 10,000 calories, but these are two Master chess
- 18:06players going at it. So they're like 75 moves into
- 18:11the future simultaneously calculating.
- 18:14What they're going to do and then one guy makes a move and it
- 18:17fucks everything up so they have to recalculate everything.
- 18:19So Yeah, let's it must be tricky as far as like, knowing what to
- 18:24eat, and what not to eat as well.
- 18:26Because I mean, it's not the same.
- 18:28But obviously, when I'm thinking about, you know, just eating
- 18:32before a podcast or eating before, I'm doing my general
- 18:35work that day to day work and stuff.
- 18:37You do have to think about that. You think about like well if I
- 18:39have this maybe this is too heavy.
- 18:42I need something light but need something substantial to tricky.
- 18:46Trying to get the balance right I suppose.
- 18:49Yeah absolutely like Like I couldn't even like I like to go
- 18:53into podcast hungry because it kind of like keeps me on edge.
- 18:58Hmm. Like I remember listening to a
- 19:00Katt Williams interview where he's like I'll never eat it.
- 19:04Makes you sloppy eat makes you slow you gotta stay on your toes
- 19:07I'm like yeah, sure whatever. But let's try it and then
- 19:11because he I mean I always remember like going into school
- 19:14on like sat day and stuff and they like to hand you this huge
- 19:18muffin, it's like you have to eat breakfast.
- 19:20Unlike Okay, I guess and then I remember always doing badly and
- 19:24then one day like 10th grade. I was like, no, thank you.
- 19:29I ate at home. They like are you sure?
- 19:30We we really want you to have this muffin and this orange
- 19:33juice. And now I'm like no, no, no, I'm
- 19:35good. Trust me.
- 19:35Like I'm full and nervous. So I probably make a mess
- 19:39everywhere and they're like, oh well we don't want you to eat
- 19:41then and then I'd better like you could actually like the
- 19:44actual poop, a little Boop, in my chart, and everybody's like,
- 19:48oh my God, congratulations, I'm like, I just didn't eat.
- 19:51Yeah, I mean it's such a simple thing, isn't it?
- 19:53You know, it's, it's your body kind of having to divert
- 19:58attention away from the brain where you need it to focusing on
- 20:00the rest of your body. So naturally, you're not going
- 20:02to do as well. Exactly, I mean, and even taking
- 20:07into consideration, just how humans evolved hundreds of
- 20:12thousands of years. If you're hungry, you're
- 20:15thinking. How do I get food?
- 20:17How do I get a friend to help me get food if you're full?
- 20:21Brains. Like all right, we're good.
- 20:22You did it. Good job, guys.
- 20:24High five. It's true.
- 20:25It's very true. I got to say, like I'm not one
- 20:27of those people where if I'm hungry and I'm ashamed to say
- 20:31it, but it's true. So, the one thing I haven't
- 20:33managed to overcome, I get pissed off like again, bad mood,
- 20:38or I get like depressed or, I don't know, something like that.
- 20:41And I just can't do anything until I eat again.
- 20:43It's almost like paralyzing it away.
- 20:46And obviously affects all of our brain chemistry's and bodies in
- 20:50different ways. But like I know if I even feel a
- 20:53little bit hungry gonna fucking eat now like just go eat.
- 20:56Well yeah back later will come, whatever.
- 20:58This, you know this can wait and sadly and sadly Evolution karna
- 21:04would have and like not to say it in a negative way but
- 21:08evolution would have token somebody like that out like
- 21:11someone that just like to get it done.
- 21:13And they go after stuff when they're hungry as opposed to
- 21:16someone who's just like, kind of, as you said, like down in
- 21:19the dumps like aggressive when they're Angry your back then you
- 21:23were going to go hungry. So those genes would have been
- 21:25like that guy would have been like he's something would have
- 21:28got him like he would have liked you to been the guy that like
- 21:31stood up to the tiger when everybody else is like oh I need
- 21:33to get out of here. People who don't bother me, I'm
- 21:36hungry and then the tiger go see that?
- 21:38That's the difference difference there, isn't it?
- 21:40Because I remember someone said this to me years ago, a very
- 21:44obvious point but you know, never eaten a sorry, never shop
- 21:47on an empty stomach or never. Yeah man.
- 21:49Empty stomach exactly. The same logic applies that you
- 21:52shouldn't go hunting when you're hungry because yeah, you will
- 21:54make a stupid decision. Whereas, if you're full or at
- 21:58least like, only a bit hungry, you could still think you want
- 22:01some mushrooms Grabber. Grabber Grabber, mushroom and
- 22:04just just start chewing on it. Grab an acorn shit.
- 22:06That'll work. It's cold.
- 22:16If you're hungry, you're going to eat whatever.
- 22:17Like if it's not going to really, I mean, Koreans use
- 22:22Acorn jelly as a side dish and Hibachi restaurant.
- 22:25Oh it's great, I love them. Acorn jelly is some of my
- 22:28favorites. He called jelly while I'm
- 22:31learning something new today. Oh yeah.
- 22:33No, it's actually kind of it's actually kind of where it's at.
- 22:37It's the bee's knees, it's the bee's knees.
- 22:40Like I remember like I had to explain this to a guy.
- 22:42He was like, I was like, and this is Acorn jelly.
- 22:45And then like this like 50 year old white, dude, this my friend
- 22:48slack Acorn like what dear Here, eat and I'm like, yeah, if you
- 22:55were starving, too, my thoughts, exactly.
- 22:59Now I'm always willing to give something a child especially if
- 23:01I'm in a foreign country lies, it's out of respect, doesn't it?
- 23:04But it's yeah. There are some things we like
- 23:07really. I remember my first love walnuts
- 23:20Almonds almonds. Acorn.
- 23:23I'm like oh, I guess you're right.
- 23:27It's just we haven't read anything commercial we haven't.
- 23:30Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no.
- 23:33It really is like, it's wild. Like some people, like duck
- 23:37eggs. More than chicken eggs.
- 23:38It's like, do duck egg, what? I suppose you make a good point,
- 23:42though. Ashley, let's bring it back to
- 23:46podcast and what have you learned so far?
- 23:49Free podcasting. I know it's still sort of early
- 23:51days, but so far and some of the last ten episodes of so you've
- 23:55done. In all honesty.
- 23:59Try not to toot my own horn but also I like tooting my own horn.
- 24:03I have realized how good I am at like Just on the Fly, Like
- 24:11directional changes. Like I remember one guy, he kept
- 24:13wanting to talk about I think it was a jacket Japanese
- 24:20imperialism. Like it, though, the manga
- 24:22artist that I'd be like, he kept bringing up a Japanese
- 24:24imperialism, just like different occupations and occupations by
- 24:29different countries and countries from Japan to Japan.
- 24:31And I had to, I had to cut some of that out but oh really?
- 24:35Well, that's just a bit. I mean, it wasn't bad.
- 24:38It was just like, like it was a bit.
- 24:41It was a bit much. It's like, 30 minutes worth of
- 24:43stuff. That's just like like it.
- 24:45He like he's good. He's into Like maybe you should
- 24:47just released as a clip. Honestly, I might, but I did
- 24:54find something. Like I remember him talking and
- 24:56like I'm like sitting here nodding being being like into
- 24:59the conversation and no no, no. Like this is his episode.
- 25:04Like, I tell him, like, I'm the host.
- 25:06This is your episode. It's going to be b, c.
- 25:09Ew 0. 04 insert your name, not mine.
- 25:14Okay. All right.
- 25:16You want to, if I feel like out of just going to eat the boat a
- 25:19little bit that way, then I'll try my best.
- 25:22But while I'm being in the conversation nodding, my head
- 25:26attentive, as I can be, I'm sitting in the back of the head.
- 25:28How the hell did OK? Japanese girl, is how the hell
- 25:31do I throw this back in the manga?
- 25:32See, this is my thought as well because like there's a fine line
- 25:35between, you know, because I let my guests lead.
- 25:38I think it's better to let your guests speak, obviously.
- 25:42But at the same time, yeah, there's a fine line between
- 25:45between leading and in. Jacking.
- 25:47I mean yeah, end of the day, you know, you've got your own kind
- 25:50of formula structure whatever if they one guy was too, but
- 25:56Japanese imperialism for half an hour.
- 25:58I mean that's that's fine. But, you know, I suppose it
- 26:02depends how long you got actually.
- 26:03That's that's a big factor in it, isn't it?
- 26:05Because if you've got like a say, a to our podcast and half
- 26:07an hour of it, is that the rest is like, you know, your usual
- 26:11setup then that's okay, it's not that bad.
- 26:13Right? Right.
- 26:14Because I'll allow for The tangents of course.
- 26:17But you've got a kind of like monitor how long they are and
- 26:22yeah, you got pay attention to that.
- 26:23I think that's really important because otherwise it can just be
- 26:25like chaos and in all honesty with how Society appears that it
- 26:32could go because I've heard a lot of people it's like I don't
- 26:35believe in conspiracy theories but if your conspiracy theory
- 26:40was to disassociate humans and make them more dependent on
- 26:44technology, you would Good giant virus.
- 26:47That would sweep through the land.
- 26:48Scare the shit out of everybody, and keep them indoors.
- 26:51So I feel that podcasting has really helped me with like, and
- 26:56again, I think this is going to be a serious issue with the next
- 27:01couple of generations, especially with how much the
- 27:03previous younger generation 5 to 10 are on there there or their
- 27:09parents phones basic communication skills.
- 27:13Like, I honestly think that's going to be just Just as
- 27:16important, if not more than like your basic stem courses because
- 27:22you can build a rocket in your head, all you want.
- 27:26But if you can't find six, other guys that can build a rocket and
- 27:30four other guys that can operate the Machinery.
- 27:32Guess who doesn't have a rocket. All of you think it's different
- 27:36kinds of people because I agree with you.
- 27:39But at the same time, you know, I look at the younger
- 27:41generation. My, my little brother, my
- 27:43youngest brother is 15 now, so he's part of that generation.
- 27:46And you can still very much have a proper conversation, adult
- 27:50conversation with them and he'll be engaged.
- 27:53And he grew up in that generation.
- 27:54Not only played games, he still plays games but he's not like
- 27:58obsessed with it. Like he was.
- 28:00So I think that like that concern that people have it
- 28:03really comes down to what they want to do.
- 28:06I give you got a kid that wants to be a gamer and they keep
- 28:09pushing and pushing and they just that's what they do.
- 28:12They can be. Yeah then yeah, you got to
- 28:15expect that too. Some extent but like I don't
- 28:18know why I still think like your aspirations in life and what you
- 28:21steered towards what ultimately kind of have an impact on how
- 28:26communicative you're going to be, you know like there's many
- 28:29scientists and mathematicians who are kind of quite maybe not
- 28:33the greatest sociable people. You know.
- 28:35They tend to like to work alone Xin solitary kind of conditions.
- 28:39Right. I think it depends like for me,
- 28:43I prefer to work alone. Obviously this is a bit
- 28:47different because it's collaborative but like
- 28:49everything I do as far as like editing and working on my staff
- 28:53marketing stuff, it's all solitary like it's yes.
- 28:56If it's difficult to work with other people, it's just it's
- 29:00just different. There's no I mean at a hundred,
- 29:03thousand million subscribers. God please let me get halfway
- 29:06there. But even with that, I don't plan
- 29:10on having a producer. I don't plan on having like I
- 29:13will have Like I will have maybe, maybe like a producer as
- 29:18like he edits and looks up stuff when I need like a Google page,
- 29:22but that's it. Like, I'm not having anyone
- 29:25Brock. It was great this episode, but
- 29:27our analytics show that 19 275 your target audience.
- 29:30Males, they kind of dipped off when you started talking about
- 29:33feminism so maybe not bring that up its online with.
- 29:35No no I'm not even going to give that the opportunity presented
- 29:39itself. I'm going to like this is my
- 29:41show. I'm going to do what I want to
- 29:43and And with seven billion people in the world, I can find
- 29:47a million people to watch me. It just determines how long it
- 29:50takes? It's an interesting point.
- 29:53I mean, I remember I received a hate comment.
- 29:55Probably my first one podcast very early into the beginning of
- 30:00the podcast, right? He was like episode 9, something
- 30:04like that. And bear in mind, the other
- 30:06podcasts was three hours long. It was my longest ever.
- 30:10There was a moment in a clip that I released where I guess I
- 30:15was talking a little bit more than the guest was.
- 30:17And this person sort of commented saying, like, you
- 30:19know, Screw you, why don't you let her kind of speak and all
- 30:22that? And I was like, I sort of
- 30:23jokingly went. Well, I did for three hours, you
- 30:25know. Right.
- 30:28But like I thought about it and I've applied it to everything.
- 30:30I do know. I always try to make sure I let
- 30:33the guests speak much more than I speak, right?
- 30:35Yeah. But it does depend on the guests
- 30:37and how much they speak and also like you said it's for you like
- 30:43speaking on your own podcast isn't a bad thing.
- 30:46I mean it's your show, isn't it? Like if you feel like you want
- 30:49to say something, you say it, you know, I mean like what?
- 30:53No one has it. And that's the thing.
- 30:55If people don't listen to you, then, yeah, don't listen to it.
- 30:57Like why get angry? I don't use them and even that
- 31:02guy either cared enough to watch the whole podcast to figure out
- 31:07that she barely talked or he cares about your development and
- 31:11just kind of wants to be like tough love.
- 31:13No. See.
- 31:14He commented on a clip. Last thing I do.
- 31:16I look like a fool, right? Yeah.
- 31:20Basically it's a good, it's a good point.
- 31:21It's a very good point. You make, I mean, yeah.
- 31:23If he said after listening to three hours yeah you didn't know
- 31:26how to speak once. I'd like to know what.
- 31:28All right, fair enough. This is fair criticism and I
- 31:31always try to take even the worst criticism when it's like
- 31:36really abusive. I always try and look at it and
- 31:38go. Can I learn anything from this?
- 31:40Yeah, of course, but You know, there are some things with the
- 31:45constructive and then some that are just like preference, you
- 31:48know? I mean like I've been on
- 31:49podcasts where they pretty much say to you, like, hey yeah, talk
- 31:53about yourself and I just talked around for ages and I've had
- 31:56other ones where it's really restrictive and they're like,
- 31:59okay give me this answer and then they stop you and then they
- 32:01got to the next thing then they stop doing.
- 32:03Oh no, I don't think I can do that.
- 32:05Like, if you have to stop two or three times, no more than two or
- 32:09three times in an episode to like restructure the episode and
- 32:13like, okay. Market here we're going to
- 32:15rewrite this and then throw this but I do not like we got all
- 32:18like I don't mean it like that. I meant more like like they're
- 32:23not really like open-ended you know what I mean?
- 32:25Like they don't allow for like long conversation.
- 32:28It's more like they're looking are almost yeah.
- 32:31Almost like yes or no kind of questions or like very short but
- 32:36sweet because maybe they're already running my like half an
- 32:39hour or so which I just don't know how people do that half an
- 32:41hour podcast. I like I do.
- 32:44Have an hour podcast and I feel bad.
- 32:46I'm like, I had like two hours and we're good, a minimum, I
- 32:55know I feel exactly the same. Yeah, and then my wife's like
- 32:58babe, you've got to make these podcast 30 minutes.
- 33:01No one has the attention span. I'm like a million.
- 33:03People have that attention span will be fine.
- 33:05So this is what you do Clips. I'm convinced like that's the
- 33:08answer because, like, some of the clips I've done, they range
- 33:11anywhere from like a minute all the way up to half an hour.
- 33:14Some cases and I feel like that's yeah that's the better
- 33:17thing. Like it really depends because
- 33:19the podcast is a podcast like not everyone has the time to
- 33:22listen and that you know even me if I'm gonna listen to a podcast
- 33:25that's going on about and the background while I'm doing
- 33:28something right? Yeah.
- 33:29And that's what I fully expect. People to listen to mine in its
- 33:32entirety will do. They're not just going to sit
- 33:34there like committed for two hours.
- 33:38Yeah that means I love it. Keep talking that doesn't have
- 33:41to be some I mean I could be wrong.
- 33:42I should let me know in the comments it's or drop me some
- 33:46messages about that. Like how you listen to the
- 33:48podcast? Because I guarantee it isn't
- 33:50like this. I just like our love it when
- 33:54Christian talks guy needs to shut up about it to you man.
- 34:04Who do you take inspiration from honestly, it is a mix of Joe
- 34:10Rogan. Philip DeFranco Andrew Schultz.
- 34:13I love his Freight, flagrant two and Brilliant idiots.
- 34:18A lot of other like Duncan Trussell.
- 34:21He's really good. I like how like I really and
- 34:24when I say really, I really love Joe Rogan to Duncan Trussell
- 34:30podcast like those are LEDs. It's like those close
- 34:33friendship. Like you almost know what you're
- 34:35going to say. Like, when you have Two people
- 34:37that know each other so well that you know what?
- 34:40They're going to say and know their point before they make it
- 34:44and then your point or Counterpoint is already
- 34:47developed by the time. They finish their statement like
- 34:49that kind of intimacy for lack of a better word is something
- 34:55not only the listener, can tune itself into, but really get lost
- 34:59in. Yeah, I couldn't agree more.
- 35:02I really take a lot of inspiration from Joe Rogan.
- 35:05Like, I particularly liked the episode.
- 35:07Roads where he talks to people who you know, he doesn't know.
- 35:10But like you say he still manages to create that intimacy
- 35:13and like that feeling of like he's known them forever and
- 35:18clearly he's been really they really that he really does know
- 35:21how to do this. Like I mean like when he had
- 35:24like Bernie Sanders, it was an hour-long episode but I mean I
- 35:29got more information about Bernie Sanders from that podcast
- 35:32and I have years of years of like appearances, On MSNBC, Fox
- 35:38News or CNN? Yeah, well because they will
- 35:41have agendas don't know, but not to get political, but like that
- 35:44they were asked him questions not to get to know him or his
- 35:47politics. But to kind of say, like, well x
- 35:51and x was said in the media, what like do you agree with this
- 35:55like is this something new you and it's like like ask him
- 35:59something interesting, like what does he think on this?
- 36:02And then let him talk no your honor because that's how he
- 36:06then. They don't want him to get
- 36:08elected and right? And that's your how the news.
- 36:09Well, if he talks, he gets elected.
- 36:15It's a good point in American politics is pretty wild, man.
- 36:20Is it is it that? Cuz I know cuz ya'll, as you all
- 36:23may know, we have a two-party system and I know over across
- 36:26the pond, y'all have more of a lot of different parties, like a
- 36:30medium left and a medium, right? And the far left, we terminated
- 36:34its base and they need to party like we do have I mean, like,
- 36:37just like you have other parties but like the other parties never
- 36:41have a chance of getting in like, I know we have one
- 36:44independent. That's it.
- 36:45Like I mean we have other parties but no, we don't.
- 36:48We also don't you? But this is the thing is the
- 36:50same in the UK, like we've got conservatives, who are like
- 36:53basically right-wing labor who's left wing, and we do also have a
- 36:57part of a party called the liberal Democrats who are in the
- 37:01middle more towards left but like, they ruined their chance
- 37:04to get in about 10 years ago like they were Yeah, it's quite
- 37:08a famous story where basically, they brought in.
- 37:12Yeah, they got in through a coalition.
- 37:14So we're actually in government with the conservatives, which
- 37:18was a weird fit because you'd think they would go with labor,
- 37:21but they went with the right instead, but there are limited
- 37:24or so, it kind of. Yeah.
- 37:25And they said in their campaign, they were like really strict
- 37:30with their campaign than like we will not raise tuition fees, we
- 37:34will not do this, and as soon as they got it, That was the first
- 37:38thing they did and after a lobbyist got to um everyone
- 37:42fucking hated the liberal Democrats after that.
- 37:44Like they've moved, they never get seats.
- 37:46They never get anywhere anymore. So and like I said, I mean labor
- 37:50and conservatives. It always switches between those
- 37:53two, we do have like the green party.
- 37:57Yeah. Who else we got you Kip which is
- 38:01like a sort of a nationalist party.
- 38:03Oh, and they get seats in Europe, they've got Seats in
- 38:07Europe, but not in in the United Kingdom and in the European
- 38:11parliament's bit weird. I don't really know how that
- 38:13works, exactly, but it had representation there, but yeah,
- 38:17in the UK, it's pretty much the same as the state's, it's one or
- 38:20the other. Which one are you going for?
- 38:22Yeah, and a lot of people like, a lot of people like that, I
- 38:26talked to they'll really go off on.
- 38:28Like I don't understand how all these countries just bow down to
- 38:32the European Union. And then now that it's like
- 38:34breakfast England's finally exited and they No, what's up?
- 38:37I'm like, guys. You do understand that seven of
- 38:40our states are easily bigger than any other country in the
- 38:45European. You'd like, we're pretty much
- 38:47our own Union. We just done it, then begins.
- 38:50Well, that's the interesting thing about the state's.
- 38:52Yeah, when you do a little bit of research it's not dissimilar
- 38:54to the EU. And that sense because every
- 38:57every state is essentially its own country because you've
- 39:00obviously national law and then yeah then you got like state law
- 39:05and then even within the Dates. You've then got what we would
- 39:09term as like borrowers. I think you call them
- 39:12municipalities or yeah, it's a little.
- 39:14Yeah, for Simplicity, we'll call a municipalities.
- 39:17Yes, cities and counties and stuff, right?
- 39:19Yeah, that's - like, by a fifth of whiskey.
- 39:23Get a free Colt 45, Texas, Austin.
- 39:27Oh, so it's about like that sometimes like it really is like
- 39:31and I'll go into that a bit later but Austin, Texas weed is
- 39:37Completely decriminalized. But taxes you'd be hard-pressed
- 39:41not to get like life in prison. Some places, like, even in like
- 39:46Mississippi, like the neighbor of Texas Mississippi there was a
- 39:51man and he was black. So they could, they could argue
- 39:53that because it was back in the 90s and the 80s, so they could
- 39:56argue that. But this was a Vietnam veteran
- 40:00like and you know, how they will, may not know how they
- 40:03treated. They pretty much through those
- 40:05guys in the front lines, like, This was a guy who made it out
- 40:09by the skin of his teeth and they catch him with like two
- 40:14ounces of weed and he has life in prison, never had anything
- 40:18else life in prison. But just because he's about to
- 40:22do, because they pray, those probably make easier in all
- 40:26honesty. It was probably made easier.
- 40:29It's like cuz How we'd was the was made illegal?
- 40:36There was this guy, I can't remember his name and upsets me,
- 40:40but he owned a paper Milling Company and a lot of forest with
- 40:45trees on them for making the paper, and he also owned the, he
- 40:50also owned the newspapers, a lot of newspapers, and a lot of
- 40:54major news outlets. And to my understanding, they
- 40:59had created a device called Of the decor Decatur which made it
- 41:03extremely simple to take him, cannabis this plant that you put
- 41:09in the ground. And then six months later, it's
- 41:11a eight feet tall about two inches thick and then like
- 41:15because a tree that takes 10 12, 20 years.
- 41:18Yeah, but if you get ten acres of trees, that's ten years one
- 41:23time, if you get him, that's six months, 20 acres once a year,
- 41:29every year, the same amount. So I mean that's a hawk that for
- 41:34him. That's his worst case scenario.
- 41:35It's like because he knows how to do this business.
- 41:39It would cost too much and be too uncertain to go into this
- 41:42business. So They took a Mexican word Or
- 41:46Hispanic word, but from the country, Mexico in origin for it
- 41:51was a Mexican tobacco called Maddie wanna sew.
- 41:55And then they made it into marijuana.
- 41:57And then they started campaigning it as if blacks and
- 42:02Mexicans smoke this. Then they're going to like start
- 42:06fighting for rights and start going after the white women.
- 42:09Like they were like Nixon and the next got a hold of it.
- 42:14And like hey if we decriminalize this then we can orchestrate
- 42:18these raids against like Mexican labor parties like unions and
- 42:25then like the Black Panther. So it all kind of coral less
- 42:28than this. Perfect, this perfect.
- 42:30Little devil token. Like the devil's lettuce.
- 42:33It's literally called in the South, the devil's lettuce.
- 42:35Like, I mean, In the Bible. It says all plants were made on
- 42:39this planet for the consumption and use of humans.
- 42:43But then they're like, no, except this plant.
- 42:45This one plant right here. Devil demon, don't do it.
- 42:48And it really has like because even the founding fathers like
- 42:52George Washington grew weed. Abraham Lincoln talked about
- 42:57smoking a joint on the White House stairs.
- 42:59So I mean this has been a traditional like we did this.
- 43:02Like we got we got kind of lit off but the second they found
- 43:05out they could use it. They kind of scrapped it and
- 43:08then it's just perpetually been used to kind of Target
- 43:12minorities to begin with. And honestly, it's kind of glad
- 43:16that it's been. And again I hate going off on
- 43:18this tangent on you at like, oh no, this this this little our
- 43:23what I wanted to say to add to that is obviously local all
- 43:25states. Now are either already have
- 43:30legalized there or mixed of legalizing it or have like some
- 43:34sort of medical Arrangement or whatever but it Why I remember
- 43:38because I did a study on this couple of years back.
- 43:41I think it's like at least 30 States, something like that or
- 43:46it's a it's a lot. It's a lot of space either
- 43:50within the state itself. Like, Austin is to taxes for the
- 43:54state itself has some type of medical or recreational
- 43:58allowance. Yes.
- 44:00Right. But there are some states where
- 44:01it's just completely legal like my stain which is Yours Alabama.
- 44:07Just Cut Above completely illegal, completely illegal
- 44:10exam. Yeah, forgive me, forgive my
- 44:13arrogance here. Alabama has its own State, isn't
- 44:15it? Yes, Alabama is, it's mistake
- 44:18right now. You're fine like that, that
- 44:20you're fine like that. Nobody knows what Alabama is.
- 44:22It's know, I know, I know, I know that Huntsville is in them
- 44:25Alabama, and I'm familiar with Alabama, I know it's in the
- 44:28South. I just I get confused sometimes
- 44:31because there are these major places within America.
- 44:35And sometimes, I don't know if it's a state.
- 44:37Or if it's a city within a stay or, you know, stuff like that
- 44:41confusing, like Pottsville Huntsville, literally has all
- 44:45the rocket scientists, like, okay, major military Stree, old
- 44:51contracts, like this city. Like this city is why we're not
- 44:55the forest state in the country like that state alone, maybe
- 44:59Birmingham. But just because it's like,
- 45:01because birmingham's weird to Birmingham is where all the I
- 45:07have to put this delicately, it's a true but you have to put
- 45:11it delicately so. Atlanta, is the Southern
- 45:15Capital? That's where that's where all
- 45:17the, that's where all the gays want to move to.
- 45:19It's like it's Atlanta, it's where it's happening.
- 45:21Because down here, while it is federally legal for a man and a
- 45:24woman to marry another man and another woman, right?
- 45:29It don't it don't it don't mix sometimes.
- 45:32So yeah, I understand. So it's very difficult for
- 45:35people to move from. From one state to another, just
- 45:38the logistics. So what they'll do is, they'll
- 45:40move from where they are, are at an Ozark, Troy Dothan wherever
- 45:46they'll move to Birmingham. They'll assimilate their self
- 45:50with the city type culture because maybe where they are
- 45:53there, they're still used to like the small town, small City
- 45:59life, but then they need to adjust themselves to the big
- 46:02city life to where. If it goes bad they can kind of
- 46:05retreat back real quick cuz it's like a 3-hour drive from
- 46:08everywhere else in the state. So if you got to move back its
- 46:11kind of easy to like Mom, I need to come back but then they'll go
- 46:14to Atlanta, so Birmingham, a lot of times has a lot of these.
- 46:18different people that move to in preparation to move to Atlanta
- 46:24or maybe New York, California, wherever else, but they want to
- 46:27like, Get used to it. Like what will my life be?
- 46:32What are the difficulties that I'll have to overcome?
- 46:35Because here I'm used to my house with a 5-acre yard mmm but
- 46:40in Birmingham I'ma have a three bedroom apartment with six other
- 46:44people and that's just that's how it is.
- 46:47So it's kind of like a boot camp for anyone who wants that and I
- 46:50didn't and it used to be and it used to be for gay people, but a
- 46:53lot of times now, especially it's for a lot of people who
- 46:56want to get out. So it has really Become that Hub
- 47:01of like, this is how we're going to jump to these other cities.
- 47:04So but but it itself has its own State problems.
- 47:09But Huntsville itself, getting back to that rocket scientist,
- 47:13everyone's making 80,000 a year except for the service members
- 47:17and like the syrup like the service industry like cooks and
- 47:20janitors and all that. But everybody else frickin
- 47:22master degree Geniuses working for the government in like
- 47:25SpaceX or whatever. But I'll We're going Alabama's,
- 47:30really weird like that. Yeah, well I know about Alabama
- 47:33is is that a few people from there, they're like, big
- 47:36wrestling fans and stuff? No, there's there's been like a
- 47:40sort of history of that there. But it's often kind of
- 47:43disregarded in a sense like it's like eyes and the South like
- 47:46people like this, maybe they're not as intelligent.
- 47:49It's really ironic that you say like some of the well he thinks
- 47:53most intelligent people are there.
- 47:54It's on us whatsoever. Well, it just goes to show,
- 48:00doesn't it. There's always, you know, the
- 48:02perception and the reality it's always the same.
- 48:04It's like when, when you move to a new country and, and, or you
- 48:08visit on holiday and you're like, oh, you know, I want to do
- 48:11all these things that I saw in the advert, and then you go
- 48:13there, and it's like those things are there, but then the
- 48:16reality is very different. Yes, God damn.
- 48:22Bring it back to your podcast. I still got some questions for
- 48:25you there. What are your main goals and
- 48:27aspirations for the The podcast. So the me that started this
- 48:36podcast. So as I grow my aspirations will
- 48:40change. But the me who started this
- 48:42podcast, in all honesty wants to just be able to pay my bills
- 48:48with it. That's all I want.
- 48:50I just want to be able to assist off this but in 5 years I
- 48:53probably want 50 million subs and I want to take over the
- 48:57world but for right now, I just want to be able to do something
- 49:01that I love because I really do like, I like underestimated.
- 49:05How much I enjoy this? I want to do something that I
- 49:09love being able to make money off of it.
- 49:12And then have it continue to grow because like myself and
- 49:16like a lot of other people have kind of figured out.
- 49:22You job security thought you had is not shit.
- 49:25It takes one little one little somewhere.
- 49:31And it's done and you're just you're stuck at home for 10
- 49:34months. Like I have so many people in
- 49:36these like like I have a lot of people that would work like
- 49:41secretary jobs. They're working at home and
- 49:44they're lucky. They're working at home because
- 49:46I've had a lot of other people that are just we're not there.
- 49:49We've had businesses that have been restaurants, 7 in
- 49:52California. 75% of restaurants have shut down indefinitely on
- 49:57the, on the brink of permanence. but, it's kind of and a lot of
- 50:03what I've heard, a lot of other people diversify, so I got to
- 50:09have something that I can fall back on because the uncertainty
- 50:13of the future, especially now I feel like it's something that
- 50:18needs to be addressed. Like it's something that we need
- 50:21to. Everyone needs to be like if
- 50:24this falls through and maybe you can't.
- 50:28We rely on this other company. Oh, well, this other companies
- 50:31hiring. I'll be fine.
- 50:33It might not be. So what are you going to do?
- 50:35So I really want this to be a staple of earned income on top
- 50:42of the other, like, mix and mask.
- 50:44Little things that I have for earned income.
- 50:46Hopefully making it my main point of earned income in the
- 50:50future. Let's look at 2021.
- 50:52What are you'll pull cost and goes for this year.
- 50:56So, I'm looking for two guests, a week and a half, and I'm
- 51:01pretty filled up. I've actually, I'm actually
- 51:03scheduled up till the end of February and Scout.
- 51:06Yeah, no, it feels good. Yeah, it does, it feels good.
- 51:11But at the same time, I'll find a guy and I'll be really excited
- 51:15about them. And then I'm like I have an
- 51:19opening in March. She's like Jesus Christ, dude,
- 51:22it's January. I was like wanting to get on
- 51:24tomorrow. I'm like, I can't I don't have
- 51:26the time. If I had the time if I wasn't
- 51:29working a job, if they didn't have an Interfaith.
- 51:32Absolutely, I threw you in Wednesday.
- 51:35He's like, I'll leave a Wednesday or Saturday open for
- 51:38like have this dude on right now.
- 51:41But scheduled podcast tuesday-thursday a book to
- 51:45February the end of February. But it's a to it's a
- 51:51double-edged blade in that regard.
- 51:53It's like but I'm hoping to have more small business owners more.
- 51:58Maybe a couple more politicians. I would really because like,
- 52:02when elections come up. Yeah.
- 52:04If I'm big enough, I have no issue.
- 52:07I don't see myself having any issues.
- 52:10Grabbing the, maybe not grabbing the incumbent but grabbing his
- 52:15his usurper, maybe grabbing like the Democratic Nominee and I had
- 52:19come and talk to me. What's the worst that can
- 52:20happen? Yeah, it's all about me.
- 52:22You're not going to win. So, why like what's the weather
- 52:24going to happen? It's free publicity for me.
- 52:26Yeah, a lot of time. They just looking for a platform
- 52:29on they just to speak. So and it's funny, you know,
- 52:33I've had people, okay, not politicians but people have
- 52:37reached out to, like wrestlers, for example, and you know,
- 52:42they've initially spoken to me and then they're, you know, they
- 52:45realize like, oh, maybe this guy doesn't have Big following blah,
- 52:48blah blah is not a big deal. I mean, I'm just theorizing, I
- 52:51don't know for sure but it's very, it's very convenient, is
- 52:54it? They just stopped speaking to
- 52:55you and it's like I think it comes down like you're going to
- 53:04see those 10 subscribers so just I think that stupid as well
- 53:09because first of all, I mean, that's not always going to be
- 53:13the case you're going to grow. And I mean, like I received
- 53:16thing back the other day. A witch told me that at the
- 53:19beginning of 2020, I was on, like what is it?
- 53:23Like, 160 subscribers and now I'm on like five hundred and
- 53:27something. So time changes, everything,
- 53:30that's number one, number two, it doesn't matter so much about
- 53:33the numbers because even if you've got someone who's like
- 53:38got millions and millions of Subs, that doesn't mean that
- 53:40they're necessarily, going to give you a good interview and
- 53:42put you over in the way. Like it's, it's all about the
- 53:46way, the person interviews, He's like, I look weird.
- 53:50If you have millions of jobs in your just this this do it.
- 53:54Like you need to realize some people need to realize.
- 53:58They might not be the same size as you, but in a broader
- 54:01category there are small or small, there was a medium.
- 54:05There's Joe Rogan, it's like, you're not going to jump to Joe
- 54:08Rogan as like this. The some random dude, unless he
- 54:11just really likes your shit. You're so you need to start
- 54:14somewhere. And it needs to be with those
- 54:17smaller. People like those camps need to
- 54:19kind of like build off of each other, because you can't build
- 54:24off something, you can't reach yourself.
- 54:26Mmm, there's I reach that someone recently.
- 54:29I won't name the person, but I found out that they, I mean,
- 54:34they responded. So fair play to them, but they
- 54:37had a, they had like a fee. Wow.
- 54:40But for booking them, and I don't know because I'm caught in
- 54:42two minds about this, because, on one hand, I feel like it's
- 54:47fair. This person is very busy so
- 54:49their time is valuable. But at the same time it's like
- 54:52fuckin no no, no. I won't I won't send that.
- 54:57But what I was what I will say is I feel that like they're
- 55:05asking rate and how long we would likely talk for is a bit.
- 55:10I feel like there would need to be a negotiation there.
- 55:12And secondly, it would take me a lot.
- 55:16To kind of agree to pay to have a guest on my show.
- 55:19Like I've never done that before and I don't know how I feel
- 55:23about that. I'm still undecided because
- 55:24normally, I might be a bit, like, I might have that
- 55:27attitude. You have like, I never say that,
- 55:28but be like that, but but in that instance, I was like, you
- 55:32know what? When you look at business and
- 55:33you look at your time, like, I can't count, for example, how
- 55:36many times I've sat down to do a podcast with someone and they
- 55:40just don't show up. And they don't give me any
- 55:42messages here, nothing yet, or the reverse.
- 55:44I'm about to appear on One show and nothing.
- 55:48Yep, that's how you get both that and like, dude, that's the
- 55:51straight. Like I even remember just
- 55:52getting a bit hot at this guy on ready and just saying like you
- 55:56know what? Like this is really
- 55:57unprofessional. Like yep.
- 55:59Just and because what was one of those things where I was
- 56:01supposed to appear on their show and they were supposed to appear
- 56:04on mine, right? Yeah.
- 56:05And there's was first and then it was going to be mine and they
- 56:12didn't bother ever getting in touch with me.
- 56:13And I left it for a couple of days because I figured What
- 56:16sometimes people have emergencies things happen,
- 56:18right. But it been long enough, nothing
- 56:21and I just responded. Like yeah, you're not coming on
- 56:23my podcast and just, you know, you shouldn't waste people's
- 56:28time like this. You know.
- 56:29I mean I always try to keep things professional.
- 56:31Don't ever be abusive. That's not how I roll anyway,
- 56:34but at the same time like I do think people need to understand
- 56:38that. Like other people's time is very
- 56:41valid. Like time is probably one of the
- 56:43most, you know, if not the most important.
- 56:46Asset that a person has. Yeah.
- 56:48If you're going to just, you know, if you get away someone's
- 56:50time like that, like I feel like it's really disrespectful and
- 56:54just shows your lack of professionalism.
- 56:56Like I always conduct myself in the way that I think is
- 57:00professional and, you know, I treat myself as though, I were
- 57:03like this big podcast, I know I'm not I know I don't have a
- 57:06big following and like, who is this guy is?
- 57:09Well, now you say I disagree with that, I think you should be
- 57:11real from the beginning from day.
- 57:13Well, I mean, the respect that Not like not like buy a Ferrari
- 57:18and like a Gucci watch me like I'm some top shit where you're
- 57:21like, you're eating Ramen for dinner.
- 57:23I mean, in the aspect of like, this is who you will become one
- 57:26day if you keep up at it. So act like that person would
- 57:29act. Yes, I agree with this switch.
- 57:36Things up for a second. Now, you were the beginning
- 57:40about everything that's going on in the states.
- 57:42And I think I'd be remiss, not to mention something I did think
- 57:44about doing a video. Go on it.
- 57:48But to be honest, I really didn't know what to say.
- 57:50I was kind of just bewildered by the whole thing.
- 57:56So what time are you in your words?
- 57:57What you, what, you think of the whole situation, I'll start that
- 58:00shit coming from a mile away. So you knew that what you had a
- 58:04feeling that they're going to do something like that.
- 58:06They're going to do something. I didn't I didn't expect like an
- 58:11expected, somebody getting a shot off.
- 58:13I didn't necessarily expect Because at there's a to my
- 58:17knowledge. There's four people that have
- 58:18died. One lady was shot in the neck by
- 58:21police and I think others were from medical complications
- 58:26complications, I would speculate from being maced because And
- 58:35this is and this is a and this is like a broad broad accusation
- 58:41and it's not even really an accusation, but with covid and
- 58:45how a lot of Republicans are like you saw.
- 58:47There were not a lot of mass people so it is very possible
- 58:50that someone could have had or had coronavirus.
- 58:55And then once you have that irritant sprayed into your
- 58:58lungs, I would not be surprised. At least with one of them if
- 59:02that exacerbated their symptoms. Seems so very good point,
- 59:06actually. Like I would not be surprised if
- 59:09that happened, if not necessarily that it did happen,
- 59:13but if those conditions were met in a person, you're overweight,
- 59:17you're a bit older in age, you may not be sick enough to
- 59:20exhibit any symptoms but you've got that irritant sprayed in
- 59:24your face. I want to First some things your
- 59:29way with regards to this day. I noticed like I obviously I
- 59:33haven't done loads of research on this.
- 59:34This but here's just what I've seen.
- 59:36One of the things is obviously damaging property which I know
- 59:40seems pretty tame. But when you compare that to the
- 59:44BLM protests, and the fact that like, you know, they were pretty
- 59:48much 100% peaceful. The no one was ever a smashing
- 59:51anything or doing anything like that, and if there were people
- 59:53doing that, it was normally the other side that were against the
- 59:56protests, right? So that's number one.
- 59:58Your taters that like talking advantage of the chaos to do it
- 1:00:02themselves? We've lost.
- 1:00:03I don't know, your sounds a bit off their my friend.
- 1:00:05I don't know what's with your voice there and Sounds like
- 1:00:10tunnel vision or something. It's a bit weird.
- 1:00:16Okay. Like I guess we'll just have to
- 1:00:20work with that then. Yeah.
- 1:00:23And another thing is the the fact that the police kind of
- 1:00:28allowed them to just walk through without being challenged
- 1:00:32cut and seemingly just welcome dear.
- 1:00:33There were scenes of police officers, taking selfies with
- 1:00:38the protest. Isn't Stuff.
- 1:00:42And there was also The Wider issue although with the for
- 1:00:45instance there was a guy re-enacting the George Floyd
- 1:00:49murder which I just yeah it was on the high steps of one of the
- 1:00:57buildings or something like that.
- 1:00:58It was it was pretty fucked up. And then just generally the
- 1:01:02issue of How? The, the police essentially.
- 1:01:11They one kind of getting aggressive with these people.
- 1:01:14They weren't kind of Defending. It's not like you want them to
- 1:01:21be aggressive, but let's put it this way.
- 1:01:23These people are being violent, they were destroying property
- 1:01:27being violent, right? Right.
- 1:01:37Yeah. And
- 1:02:16So that's like that's it they're finally coming out with a trump
- 1:02:22card. We're fine.
- 1:02:23Like it's going to happen, he will be president.
- 1:02:26Like I had friends that are like hey man look we're going to d.c.
- 1:02:31there's a packet from this this group that we are on that
- 1:02:34they're offering. Take us up there for three
- 1:02:36nights for $400, unlike room board food and everything we
- 1:02:41just got to pay $400. I'm like wait a trip to d.c.
- 1:02:45room and board food and transportation for $400.
- 1:02:52That is a steal and it's a bit weird that it's available like
- 1:02:56that because like like you can't travel to the nation of the
- 1:03:01capital on $400 like that's that's a A bit imats cheat.
- 1:03:06That's really cheap, especially with how many people are
- 1:03:09already. Going to be there.
- 1:03:11Tens of thousands of people, like we saw the last truck
- 1:03:13parade tens of thousands of hundreds of thousands of people
- 1:03:16maybe 100,000 at the max but easily tens of thousands of
- 1:03:20people. So the people will brought here
- 1:03:25And then Trump Rudy Giuliani Trump jr.
- 1:03:28All these people are speaking on a stage.
- 1:03:32Rudy Giuliani said, on like, it's been recorded.
- 1:03:37Let There Be trial by combat. and then Trump tweets about how
- 1:03:43Mike Pence can overturn the election as vice president by
- 1:03:47not confirming the votes, sending them back to the States
- 1:03:52and then by the time that they would be recertified, it would
- 1:03:57be well into what would supposed to be Biden's term as president.
- 1:04:03So it was like it wouldn't be an incomplete over term but it
- 1:04:08would be an extension of his presidency and he would take any
- 1:04:12kind of wind as a win at this point because what did not be
- 1:04:16confused. I completely believe that he
- 1:04:20knows he's lost but if we get all these people still donating
- 1:04:25money then we got 2024 on lock as far as donations go because
- 1:04:31we'll have that because how it works in America, any money you
- 1:04:34don't use as a donation, it just goes to you like it's yours,
- 1:04:38it's your money. So if you get all these people
- 1:04:41riled up thinking that or president's going to do it but
- 1:04:44he needs that extra $20. They're going to send that $20,
- 1:04:49so then Mike Pence couldn't do it because he couldn't do it
- 1:04:53legally. Like it was a formality that he
- 1:04:55would authorize the election results.
- 1:04:57It's a formality. He could not in realism, turn it
- 1:05:00over and send it back to the States.
- 1:05:02And then, Trump lights them up. Is like what a failure?
- 1:05:05Might Pence's. I can't believe that he did
- 1:05:07this. It's like, it's so terrible.
- 1:05:10And then they took over the capital.
- 1:05:11I mean, it was a pretty cut-and-dry scenario what
- 1:05:15happened? He invited him up there.
- 1:05:17Got him riled up over the past week or so.
- 1:05:21Promise them how it would happen.
- 1:05:23Because Mike Pence has his boy, it's his BP.
- 1:05:25He's been very loyal to Trump, like not, not a single
- 1:05:30dissenting opinion but then he doesn't do what he said he would
- 1:05:33do or what Trump said he would do because he can't.
- 1:05:37So then he just throws the people up there.
- 1:05:39But remember, Trump's not an idiot.
- 1:05:41Like he must have known. No, he's right.
- 1:05:44He's, he knew that. Mike Pence would not be able to
- 1:05:47help him in that of God, he has lawyer.
- 1:05:49Even if he was an idiot, he has lawyers right?
- 1:05:52What they can do. So yeah it's it's really crazy
- 1:05:58like and then you've got all the queue and on people that are out
- 1:06:01there. It's like I don't even know if
- 1:06:02y'all know about you and on those guys are chuh in the w q
- 1:06:06and on, oh my god, I've heard the name.
- 1:06:11Okay, okay, we need to cut like, right.
- 1:06:15Write it down or something. We'll come back to it because,
- 1:06:17like, this is its own like an Explorer.
- 1:06:19Now it can, it can spoil know might as well look, I for, I
- 1:06:22mean, okay. So anything that you have to put
- 1:06:24in on You're like anything else on the capitol raid because once
- 1:06:29once this tunnel is open, like it's going to be hard to like
- 1:06:32divert back because the arena like I said in the beginning I'm
- 1:06:35not really sure what else. I just wanted to kind of cover
- 1:06:38it and you've given way more background that I would have
- 1:06:41anticipated like I genuinely yeah like I'm obviously your
- 1:06:45Americans you do know more about the situation but like from the
- 1:06:50European perspective in the UK like all we've seen is is just
- 1:06:54you know kind of Destruction. Obviously Trump.
- 1:06:59Sort of his tweets being blocked on Twitter.
- 1:07:02Yep. So I've received notifications
- 1:07:05from my phone and computer, so, Facebook is permanently banned
- 1:07:09them from Facebook like so, wow. Oh yeah.
- 1:07:12No, he's done. So they would have done that.
- 1:07:17They would have done that once wasn't president anymore as like
- 1:07:21kind of like a backdating offenses.
- 1:07:23They can't do it because he is the Resident and how the laws
- 1:07:26are set up here. Like like there was a guy that
- 1:07:29was the dean of a college. He did something bad, he got
- 1:07:33caught the corruption Scandal and people started going after
- 1:07:36him. So he blocked them.
- 1:07:37But since this was his public, this is how I reach the people
- 1:07:43social media. It would be illegal for him to
- 1:07:45block any of his constituents because that is how they
- 1:07:48obtained news. So, since this is how you
- 1:07:52receive updates and news from the Press, didn't is Twitter and
- 1:07:56Facebook. It's not that it would be
- 1:08:00illegal to do it because they aren't, they aren't subject to
- 1:08:04First Amendment rights, freedom of speech and all that good
- 1:08:06stuff. But it would be a very dangerous
- 1:08:10precedent to set. But when he's not president
- 1:08:15dunzo, that was kind of expecting that completely.
- 1:08:18But this being the straw that broke the camel's back.
- 1:08:21I'm not surprised at all. Like it's so close.
- 1:08:24It's already been confirmed. There's no deus ex machina is
- 1:08:27thrown up that Gets him four more years.
- 1:08:29So yeah, they're just doing a pre-emptive locket.
- 1:08:31Okay, so now I'm not surprised at all.
- 1:08:35Do you know think there's an issue with that because while I
- 1:08:38don't agree with the things that Trump says and does I do think
- 1:08:41is a very Rocky Road to be sort of blocking people.
- 1:08:47And because it almost kind of that lays the road for like the
- 1:08:49destruction of freedom of speech in a manner it does it does.
- 1:08:53And I'm I don't know how I feel about it.
- 1:08:57I'm kind of Of split down the middle on it because yes, how
- 1:09:01you catch people in their dumbness is you let them talk
- 1:09:05and the more you let someone talk the more holes that they
- 1:09:08will create if there's if their argument is not solid.
- 1:09:13Like, I've had, I've had political conversations with
- 1:09:16people where they are that they perceive themselves as this
- 1:09:20pro-capitalist, right? But you get them talking and
- 1:09:23they say something like that was a socialist.
- 1:09:26Construct. You just, you just completely
- 1:09:28agreed and like, wanted to implement, like, socialist
- 1:09:35policies like that is, like, straight from frickin.
- 1:09:38Like, that's straight from Moscow, stuff.
- 1:09:40Kind of like opinions, you Just threw up and then they have to
- 1:09:43backtrack. It's like no, no that's not what
- 1:09:45I meant. I'm like it's what you just said
- 1:09:46though. So you've had to admit it.
- 1:09:48You this is work. That's the funny thing about
- 1:09:50politics as well as I don't think there are many people that
- 1:09:53are strictly speaking like far left or far, right?
- 1:09:56Like because I like myself, like I don't swing either way but I
- 1:09:59look at things on the left. I agree with things on the right
- 1:10:02that I agree. Like, I think Eileen little bit
- 1:10:05more towards the left because, you know, of being liberal and
- 1:10:07stuff but like there's stuff on the right when it comes to like
- 1:10:10business stuff where I'm like, yeah, I wouldn't want to do it
- 1:10:13the way that the left does it because, you know, that's just
- 1:10:16not good business, you know, we financially conservative
- 1:10:20socially liberal, that's my lady liberal.
- 1:10:26Yeah, but my point is that it's good to have an open mind, isn't
- 1:10:30it? Until I kind of look at, like
- 1:10:32the pilot, like what everyone's saying like, I often hear about
- 1:10:35people saying, like we should cancel this person, we should
- 1:10:37silence them and it's like, no, I think it's okay.
- 1:10:40It's to follow both groups and make your Opinion based on that,
- 1:10:44like listen to everything, they're saying, yes.
- 1:10:46Both sides are going to put propaganda out and say a bunch
- 1:10:49of shit. But within that, there will be
- 1:10:51things that, you know, on both sides that do have value, you
- 1:10:55know? But yeah, I don't think anyone
- 1:10:58is truly like one way or the other.
- 1:10:59That's that's very unlikely but to Devil's Advocate myself, I do
- 1:11:07believe that he has grown so big.
- 1:11:12In my opinion, this is not based off of any kind of fact that I
- 1:11:16have researched. This is off my opinion.
- 1:11:18I think that he could, if he wanted to tweet out take over
- 1:11:24America for me and he would have an army with it moments.
- 1:11:29I agree. He got an eye on.
- 1:11:31Yeah, I think. Yeah.
- 1:11:33I was listening to a lady called her name was Katherine.
- 1:11:38Something wits. I don't believe she's worked in
- 1:11:45the financial field for many years and politics probably.
- 1:11:49I should like very knowledgeable woman.
- 1:11:51I think it's that, Catherine, Arbor wits, or something like
- 1:11:53that. Anyway, she was talking about
- 1:11:57all of this and she was saying how kind of the fact of the
- 1:12:02matter is, the people that, like, run Society are definitely
- 1:12:08afraid of that, your common people Because especially,
- 1:12:13especially in places like America because everyone owns a
- 1:12:15gun. Oh yeah, you know, since the
- 1:12:18Constitution and I mean, as much as I don't agree with guns at
- 1:12:22the same time, if I lived in America, I think I'd be a fool
- 1:12:24not to own a gun, you know, me where I am.
- 1:12:27Where I am, I am 30 minutes away.
- 1:12:29Like if you had people sitting in a police car, I am 30 minutes
- 1:12:35away from the nearest Polly like, major police station.
- 1:12:38So if I have someone break into my house and they will be A
- 1:12:42group it won't be a single, dude, it'll be a group of
- 1:12:44people. I like, I have, I have a, it's
- 1:12:47called a Judge. It's a pistol.
- 1:12:50That shoots out a small shotgun round.
- 1:12:53I need that. I need something with a
- 1:12:54widespread that I can turn over tight angles.
- 1:12:57Like for home defense, I need like while you're talking about
- 1:13:00like, because they're people in Texas that can own tanks that's
- 1:13:04a bit and but at the same time, it is a bit weird, the gun
- 1:13:09argument. What's, what's the kind of the
- 1:13:11law? Not as far as I defend in your
- 1:13:13home because in the UK we've had a lot of fun silly stories over
- 1:13:16the years was like, burglars robbing people's houses and then
- 1:13:20suing the owners for hurting them like bullshit like that.
- 1:13:23But like, if you've got people invading your home, right?
- 1:13:27And you obviously, you're a legally allowed to own a gun,
- 1:13:29you're allowed to defend your home.
- 1:13:31So what's the extent kit like Can you kill a man?
- 1:13:35If he's like trying to kill you easily and I'm not even saying
- 1:13:42this braggadocio sleep easily. If he steps foot in my home,
- 1:13:45tries to tells me and tells me that he wants my stuff and I
- 1:13:49tell him he can't be here. It stays here with that with
- 1:13:52that with no hesitation, I could shoot and kill them and the law
- 1:13:55would protect you. You'd be just defending yourself
- 1:13:59under the law. The law wasn't even belong that
- 1:14:02needed the work. I mean, the law was Even like
- 1:14:04try to do anything there. Be like, well, it shows hit like
- 1:14:07he's in your house, he has a gun or a knife or something to harm
- 1:14:12you he is we know him as a robber like, and if you had a
- 1:14:16camera and even be better, but there might be a bit more
- 1:14:19investigation if there was like, just my word.
- 1:14:23But if there was like in perfect circumstance, if there was a
- 1:14:26camera that shows him sneaking up in the middle of the night,
- 1:14:29coming into my house, I point a gun at him and tell him, he
- 1:14:32needs to leave, and he does. Don't leave walk walks or runs
- 1:14:36towards me. I shoot him.
- 1:14:37It'd be open and close within a within a day or two and would
- 1:14:40the same logic still apply if he wasn't armed, but you were I
- 1:14:49could always claim that I perceived him as a threat to my
- 1:14:54life, right? And that would work, it may not.
- 1:14:59It may not work in the court of public opinion, but as far as
- 1:15:02the law goes like Florida, like Trayvon Martin, he was killed
- 1:15:07off the basis of a stand-your-ground law.
- 1:15:10Where Zimmerman chased him, he pursued him.
- 1:15:16And then while having his hands in his hoodie jacket, his hoodie
- 1:15:21Pockets, pulled his hands out to defend himself from Zimmerman's
- 1:15:24assault. And then Zimmerman said that he
- 1:15:28felt his life was in danger. He pulled out his his pistol
- 1:15:31that he had and shot him. Same logic applies, same laws,
- 1:15:35apply that? That's just how it works, okay?
- 1:15:39But at least with the, at least, with the Audrey.
- 1:15:43I think it was Aubree the guy in Georgia that got chased down.
- 1:15:49So, you know, you know about the Aubrey, I can't feel bad about
- 1:15:52not remembering his name because I got Brianna Taylor, I got
- 1:15:54George Floyd, Floyd and there was this Aubrey guy who was
- 1:15:59running went and was he the guy? He wasn't he wasn't killed, but
- 1:16:03he was sure. But then he said, well he was
- 1:16:06killed. No, he was killed.
- 1:16:09Sad thing is, there's a lot of those.
- 1:16:11There's a lot of those where their shot and they live and
- 1:16:14then they shot and they died. So it is, it is there are so
- 1:16:16many that it is easy to confuse them, but he was jogging.
- 1:16:21He went to look at a house that was under construction, which
- 1:16:25would seem a bit off, but in Alabama and Georgia, it's not
- 1:16:30illegal to walk into, like, if someone's building a house at
- 1:16:33the side of the road, like, on your, just your common road.
- 1:16:36Now if there's like a driveway that stretches half a mile in
- 1:16:39like, Parents house into the woods, that's trespassing on the
- 1:16:43property but walking into the house as it's being built and
- 1:16:46just looking around. There's nothing illegal about
- 1:16:48that but they thought they thought he was the guy.
- 1:16:52That was reported stealing Tools around that same neighborhood so
- 1:16:57they pursued him and then when he defended to fight and protect
- 1:17:01himself, then they shot him know that very closely resembles
- 1:17:07Trayvon Martin in Asia. A certain way but they didn't
- 1:17:12know they charge them that like because because they videotaped
- 1:17:15it that was the thing. They weren't able to they
- 1:17:19weren't able to just because if there's a dead guy and a living
- 1:17:24guy living guy is like he's the only trusting Trust of a source.
- 1:17:28But they had these this video camera that they recorded, and
- 1:17:32then they released it like dumbass like incriminating,
- 1:17:37evidence anyone with intelligence would have been
- 1:17:39like that. Incriminating, but they released
- 1:17:41it. And that's what did it for him.
- 1:17:43So it looks good. That's good that they would.
- 1:17:45Oh yeah. Very good.
- 1:17:46I'm glad that they were stupid because it was, it was, it was
- 1:17:50they literally, literally hunted, the guy, it was It was
- 1:17:54really, it was really upset so you do have that aspect of
- 1:17:58those. People are able to do that if
- 1:18:00they want to and if they feel like they need to But then, at
- 1:18:06the same time, you have people like, because if you had a dude,
- 1:18:09like right now, I see a door behind you.
- 1:18:11If you had some Rando just bust in your door and be like give me
- 1:18:14your computer, your recording equipment, everything.
- 1:18:19That's kind of dumb. So, but the little hair kind of
- 1:18:23States, you know, you're, it's kind of a bit of a gray area.
- 1:18:27I've seen a lot of cases where it's like, oh, you shouldn't,
- 1:18:29you know, you should try and do as at least damage as possible,
- 1:18:34you know? Should I mean, like fries?
- 1:18:36Like, if I was working somewhere, if I was in like a
- 1:18:38supermarket saying, they would always tell you, like, you know,
- 1:18:42just give them the money they don't put your, yeah, and try to
- 1:18:45be a hero, right? But that was different because
- 1:18:48it's like a - and they can afford it do me it's not gonna
- 1:18:51hurt them. But like when it's just you I
- 1:18:53mean I would defend myself but I would try and ground them.
- 1:19:02I wouldn't try and like kill them but yeah, see that's the
- 1:19:06thing tricky. It's rataxes badly like, I mean,
- 1:19:10in my like I'm not I'm not a firearm expert like I can hit
- 1:19:13something if I point and shoot but I can't like And that's why
- 1:19:18I need these, these widespread shotgun shells.
- 1:19:20Like, because you have, these multiple beads coming out at a
- 1:19:23pattern, it's not one single bullet so sadly.
- 1:19:30The biggest part of the body. The easiest part to hit is where
- 1:19:33all the important stuff is. So it makes sense to hit them
- 1:19:39here, because that's the easiest place to hit them with the least
- 1:19:42amount of training. But it's also the easiest way to
- 1:19:45kill them. Hmm.
- 1:19:47So like if everybody was like Achilles and the ankle was the
- 1:19:51only right? Yeah, unfortunately, that's
- 1:19:56where it is so but I suppose that's why probably why you have
- 1:19:59the law. Oh, in the way that it exists in
- 1:20:01the US plus, you know, if you're going to give people the ability
- 1:20:05to own a gun, you put it in the Constitution.
- 1:20:08You know, it kind of implies that you you should be able to
- 1:20:11use that gun to protect yourself.
- 1:20:12So it's kind of it's a tricky one worker and also I think the
- 1:20:16wider issue with this is, you know, when you hear about the
- 1:20:18Democrats talking about, you know, revoking gun laws and
- 1:20:21stuff, it's like, well, even if you do that, like so many
- 1:20:25people, own a gun that is, yeah, almost impossible to try and
- 1:20:28kind of Do you like, take back all those guns?
- 1:20:32Jen? I mean, how where, where would
- 1:20:34you even begin to start? Absolutely.
- 1:20:38Like, I remember, I remember this Instagram post, like, it
- 1:20:41was like, it was just as I was starting, starting Facebook,
- 1:20:45Twitter, Instagram, all that stuff.
- 1:20:46When I was like, really young back in like 2012, 11 13.
- 1:20:50And I remember coming across this post, where, again, Texas,
- 1:20:54it was this ammunition website that had I I would say seven by
- 1:21:03seven boxes with about three layers of bullets, each and
- 1:21:08about six of those boxes, stacked up and like, one of the
- 1:21:11tops were choking out and it was a picture.
- 1:21:13All of them were bullets, hmm, just got done with the order,
- 1:21:17for our for our customer, hope they enjoy it.
- 1:21:20I was like, who's your customer the cartel because you would
- 1:21:25never expect anyone to own that many bullets, but people own
- 1:21:28that many bullets like yeah. Yeah. black people that they're
- 1:21:32not dumb, they realize I have a gun, but if I got anything to
- 1:21:36shoot the gun out of So they'll literally spend so little, like
- 1:21:41I know people that have taken out loans for like bullets, they
- 1:21:46have their 30 30s. So a lot of people like owning
- 1:21:49two pistols shotgun a rifle and then your manual like click
- 1:21:56rifle, they'll get their caliber for those different weapons.
- 1:22:01And then once they have those ten or so guns, they literally
- 1:22:06just need a continual Supply bullet.
- 1:22:07So after they get those guns to their specifications, they want
- 1:22:10to customize painted all that good stuff.
- 1:22:14They literally just have to buy bullets so you spend twenty
- 1:22:18thousand dollars on guns but you're not going to spend ten
- 1:22:21thousand dollars on bullets, just to make sure you have
- 1:22:23enough bullets to make it because the bullets aren't going
- 1:22:25to expire. So yeah, they'll spend ten
- 1:22:29thousand dollars on bullets. It's different world.
- 1:22:33It's a different world. But then if they can afford it
- 1:22:38like right then we got like because over here like I don't
- 1:22:41know what it is over in UK. That Alabama, minimum wage is
- 1:22:44$7.25 an hour. So yeah, I see it.
- 1:22:48Slow here as well. Yeah, you can't afford that.
- 1:22:53So bring it back to queuing on. So I saw that you were quite
- 1:23:00eager to talk about that. Let's let's discuss that.
- 1:23:02Let's go into that world. Where is it?
- 1:23:06All right. So what do you know about cumin
- 1:23:09lat? I need to get a baseline
- 1:23:12reading. Oh I think they are a group on
- 1:23:20the on the right. The Republican side.
- 1:23:23I think. Yes.
- 1:23:25Okay, okay. I think it's like an assembled
- 1:23:32Force as a response to things like BLM but I think it's
- 1:23:36existed before that but yeah that I'm not going to speculate
- 1:23:39more. I think that's about as much.
- 1:23:40Hello. All right.
- 1:23:42You know they're from the right. That's that's that's about,
- 1:23:44that's about what I expected. So Bear with me as I say this
- 1:23:49because it's gonna it's a couple of tangents that then build and
- 1:23:53it's like a couple of branches that build out and then coalesce
- 1:23:56back into a unified front. So q and on Q is a person who
- 1:24:04claims to have super suit like top top security clearance at
- 1:24:10the White House, they could. So they post on Reddit 4chan,
- 1:24:15all that good stuff. They claim to be eight.
- 1:24:18Up ranking. Government official.
- 1:24:21Who speculate not speculates, who leaks information at the
- 1:24:26president's behests? President Trump because
- 1:24:32President Trump has been brought into office.
- 1:24:37To not only make America great again but to also weed out any
- 1:24:43Hollywood stars. Actors like literally Tom Hanks
- 1:24:48has been associated with this like like Tom Hanks, Hillary
- 1:24:52Clinton Barack Obama. Bill Clinton Bernie Sanders
- 1:24:57Nancy. Pelosi Chuck Schumer.
- 1:24:59All the big names of the democratic party because they
- 1:25:03are all secretly people. And I have to be delicate on
- 1:25:11this one because it's a bit jarring.
- 1:25:12Like, I've been desensitized to it.
- 1:25:14Because I've heard about it so much but hearing it, like, it's
- 1:25:19honestly gonna it's who sexually molest and cannibalize infants.
- 1:25:27For the enjoyment of the sexual molestation, but for the
- 1:25:32ingestion of infants to put to prolong their lives.
- 1:25:38I think I've heard about this a little bit and Donald Trump has
- 1:25:41been brought into office because he has no political
- 1:25:44affiliations. So he is completely untethered
- 1:25:47by the system, by the Deep State.
- 1:25:51And he has been brought in there by generals by secret service
- 1:25:56members, leaders of the FBI and CIA.
- 1:25:59Hmm, to weed them out. Yes.
- 1:26:03He, I've heard different. I've heard the he's part of it
- 1:26:08and that basically all of these kind of people that are part of
- 1:26:12this group are trying to acquire this thing called adrenochrome.
- 1:26:17I think it's called and wrong adrenochrome.
- 1:26:21Something like that, I'd rather crawl was the chemical that
- 1:26:24keeps the younger believe, something like that.
- 1:26:27But apparently, you can only get it from children.
- 1:26:29Yes, that's it. Yeah, that's right.
- 1:26:31I had a guest. East on the podcast, very early
- 1:26:33on who was discussing this. She was really into her
- 1:26:35conspiracy theories. Oh yeah and she was saying
- 1:26:38people like Madonna and that we communicating with other
- 1:26:43celebrities like Ellen or whatever he absent weird coding
- 1:26:47through things. Like you know just saying like
- 1:26:51tweeting out with things to each other which is that code for
- 1:26:54like I need this kind of thing. Uh-huh.
- 1:26:57Suppose you had the Wayfarer Scandal where you had like a
- 1:27:01lot. Cabinets for sale on Wayfair and
- 1:27:05a girl's name like Alyssa. And it would be like an eleven
- 1:27:09thousand dollar cabinet and then the Q and A on people like
- 1:27:12they're selling children through Wayfarer using cabinets as
- 1:27:15covers. And so, like we've had a lot of
- 1:27:17different things build off of it, but the original found the
- 1:27:21original assemblance of the group was there using the
- 1:27:25Audrina Chrome's from children from baby, blood to prolong
- 1:27:29their lives. Hmm.
- 1:27:32And Trump has been brought into office to get rid of them all
- 1:27:36and blow up this Grand conspiracy.
- 1:27:39Yeah see that's the thing. Like that's where I kind of find
- 1:27:43it difficult to be leaving because of all people.
- 1:27:46If he's the hero and his savior like why does he act the way
- 1:27:52that he does Jimena mean like I it's all right.
- 1:27:54I think I can't do to you. Yeah that's that's the thing
- 1:27:57like this Spelling's on Twitter all the fuck's all the fuck up.
- 1:28:01See says during the speeches It's all co Q to let him to know
- 1:28:04this is what needs to be released.
- 1:28:06This is the progress. We're making safe a code.
- 1:28:11You just, you just don't worry about it, man.
- 1:28:13You don't know. I mean anything.
- 1:28:16I've said about Trump is that like, there's a lot of stuff
- 1:28:20that he supposedly knows that he tries to leak out and like the
- 1:28:23people in the government. I like, don't fuckin say it like
- 1:28:26in the military supposedly, there's stuff that he knows
- 1:28:28about whatchamacallit. Stuff to do with, you know, like
- 1:28:35the space program, for example. And they're trying to keep under
- 1:28:39wraps and Trump keeps going like, oh yeah you know we're
- 1:28:41doing this with space force and then I shot up, stop throwing
- 1:28:44nuts. Doing the not supposed to know.
- 1:28:46Yeah. There's supposedly a lot like
- 1:28:48that is really almost like he's a blabbermouth.
- 1:28:53Yeah but apparently there's this Israeli space Minister for an
- 1:28:57Israeli space Minister that says like Trump is in communication
- 1:29:01with the Galactic Federation and Yeah, yeah.
- 1:29:11It's a guy is a guy from Israel who worked in Space Program from
- 1:29:14many many years and Israel. And he's just randomly come out
- 1:29:19now. I mean, apparently, he's been
- 1:29:20saying this for the past 10 15 years, but now he's trying to
- 1:29:23make these links and say that, you know, Trump is like
- 1:29:25deliberately hiding this and stuff.
- 1:29:27Yeah which you know of all the conspiracies out there I could
- 1:29:32see that as being I'm somewhat true for in the sense that I
- 1:29:35think there is a lot of stuff that trumps trying to get out
- 1:29:38that like they don't want to get out like he does kind of strike
- 1:29:42me as the sort of guy that's like because you're right, like
- 1:29:44he's not a politician politician.
- 1:29:46He's a businessman and like they're all businessman.
- 1:29:50I mean Jesus Bush came from a family of businessmen but they
- 1:29:53were all political people so they're all involved in that
- 1:29:56world. Like Trump has had access to the
- 1:29:59political world but he's you know, he's never really gotten
- 1:30:02into it before. And he's also interesting
- 1:30:05enough, he's flopped back and forth between Democrat and
- 1:30:08Republican affiliation quite interesting the over the years.
- 1:30:12So I think it's been difficult for him to kind of establish,
- 1:30:15political links and stuff, and now that he's finally gotten
- 1:30:19gotten into office, I mean, we've seen how it's kind of gone
- 1:30:22down. Like, you know, there's not
- 1:30:23really anyone rushing to his rescue in the Republican party.
- 1:30:27Is it seems, they're just waiting for him to lead elected.
- 1:30:31We just elected a football coaches are Sure.
- 1:30:33And he is up there. Helping trees trying to support
- 1:30:37Trump. Yeah, Alabama.
- 1:30:47Alabama us even further. Let's move.
- 1:30:54But ya know like when he's out there they're gonna they're
- 1:30:59gonna bury him alive. You think you'll go to prison?
- 1:31:04No. Because then the Republican,
- 1:31:07then the Republican base will because I mean, because I mean
- 1:31:11and no you haven't even seen the snow.
- 1:31:13So you know about Fox News, right?
- 1:31:14That's our, that's the Republican News Network.
- 1:31:17The second they said that Trump lost the election.
- 1:31:20Everybody went to one American News Network and Newsmax, who
- 1:31:24talked about dominion. And all these other places
- 1:31:27stealing election results to such a veracity to such a high,
- 1:31:32like, everyone could hear it. But they had to retract
- 1:31:36everything because the companies were like we will sue you and
- 1:31:38you're not Fox so you can't afford our lawsuit.
- 1:31:41So watch yourself. So but even then they're still
- 1:31:46likes like tiptoeing. Allegedly Dominion a let like so
- 1:31:51they're like they used to be like we as one American News
- 1:31:54Network know for a fact this is what happened you're being lied
- 1:31:59to but now they're only like we speculate so and they ran Is Max
- 1:32:05like there are a couple of times where Newsmax, this, no one News
- 1:32:08Network there. Nobody had more viewers than Fox
- 1:32:13at the exact same time. So I mean it's not there is a
- 1:32:17there's a large amount of people that aren't Republicans anymore.
- 1:32:21They're Trump Ians. So if they arrest him and they
- 1:32:26put him in prison for a significant amount of time now
- 1:32:29they can sue him. Yes, sure he sued all the time
- 1:32:32but if they arrest him and put him in prison, It's not going to
- 1:32:38end well. I had like because not only will
- 1:32:41that set a precedent because then the Republicans can just
- 1:32:46like because I mean even hundred Biden's email.
- 1:32:48Like do I believe that Joe Biden directed?
- 1:32:51His son to go to Ukraine? No, do I believe that a
- 1:32:55drug-addicted son of a former vice, president tried to use his
- 1:33:00father's name to get somewhere. I can absolutely believe that,
- 1:33:05but if the Republicans twist, It to the way where they could
- 1:33:08arrest Joe, Biden. They can't because no one's ever
- 1:33:11done that, but if they do that to Trump, then the precedent has
- 1:33:14been set and it's open season. Who's to say he's not, okay,
- 1:33:23fair enough, let's move it forward and switch things up.
- 1:33:28So you've mentioned a little bit in previous conversations with
- 1:33:33myself that you know some of the work that you do.
- 1:33:35But what do you do actually do for a living person outside of
- 1:33:38the podcast than one? I just I work at a meat
- 1:33:41processing. Plant is quality assurance.
- 1:33:43It's nothing, it's nothing super Exciting.
- 1:33:46I'm just happy. It's just you.
- 1:33:49Go to a place, you work there and then you just try to get
- 1:33:52above the Baseline hiring. I mean, it's just everybody
- 1:33:55else. I'm just everyday kind of
- 1:33:57person. It's just, it's nothing super
- 1:33:59special and how have they actually been June covid as
- 1:34:05anything cause or change drastically, if they've been
- 1:34:07sort of reasonable obviously, they haven't let you go.
- 1:34:10It sounds like you still sort of been there.
- 1:34:11So that's good. Yeah.
- 1:34:13So And it's weird because the US has a lot of these laws.
- 1:34:21A lot of these gag laws that stop you from like criticizing
- 1:34:28the the meat processing. Because oh yeah, no, because it
- 1:34:35is bad. I've worked like when I started
- 1:34:37working there, I worked in every department for, like, cross,
- 1:34:41training purposes, like if they weren't busy in my section and
- 1:34:45be like, hey, go over and work here.
- 1:34:46We're so and I don't think y'all have seen these before, maybe
- 1:34:51not you and probably definitely not your listeners if they live
- 1:34:54in a bigger city but so you'll have chicken houses.
- 1:35:00Where it's these two hundred by 20 feet structures with fans and
- 1:35:05then you'll have feeding and watering platforms that will be
- 1:35:08at the ground level. As 100,000 chickens are thrown
- 1:35:12into this area, not really, but I don't know the exact number
- 1:35:15but around a large amount, maybe a couple thousand, maybe not
- 1:35:20100,000 and as they grow it raises so that they have to
- 1:35:25extend their neck and kind of stretching exercise for six
- 1:35:29weeks. Then they're all taken out
- 1:35:31putting on the trucks. And then they are.
- 1:35:37Kind of like I mean they really are they're kind of like stuffed
- 1:35:39in these trucks. Like a chicken can stand two
- 1:35:41feet these these cages are maybe like a foot.
- 1:35:44So their neck has to be like protruded down and stuck out and
- 1:35:48you'll put about 20 chickens to this cage.
- 1:35:51They'll go to be grabbed by the feet slapped onto a metal
- 1:35:55conveyor where their feet will slide into the slot.
- 1:35:59And they'll just hang down like this, with their neck extended,
- 1:36:01because they don't really have a lot of strength, in their necks,
- 1:36:04because their heads pretty heavy.
- 1:36:06So they'll normally they'll keep it supported by their back
- 1:36:09muscles and just by extending their chest out so their head
- 1:36:14okona like wave around. So So, they'll be led down a
- 1:36:20conveyor belt, where a machine will cut their head off.
- 1:36:23They'll be drained feathers will be taken off after they're
- 1:36:27dipped in boiling water to loosen up the follicles.
- 1:36:30Insides extracted. And then they'll be cut in half
- 1:36:34for leg processing and breast processing.
- 1:36:38The breast will then be cut off by humans by human hands.
- 1:36:41It'll be, like, cut off thrown into fillets, which are kind of
- 1:36:44like a heart-shaped kind of cut of the meat, which that will be
- 1:36:50cut into chicken nuggets and filet pieces, which is the
- 1:36:54department that I work in. It's called DSi and I am in
- 1:36:59charge. I like I'm one of the people in
- 1:37:01quality control. so, A lot of people don't know this, but it
- 1:37:08is very like these animals are hatched.
- 1:37:14They are like, and this is everyone like like some people
- 1:37:17may be listening. This is like, no, not the, not
- 1:37:19the food. I eat.
- 1:37:20My food is. Yeah, my food is organic.
- 1:37:24My food is like free range is like probably not.
- 1:37:29You should look at your government's definition of free
- 1:37:31ranged. But that there are no in the UK,
- 1:37:35there are some instances where you have a chickens in my actual
- 1:37:41kind of and I cows and stuff like that that are able to like
- 1:37:45roam freely and are treated well and have good diets and stuff.
- 1:37:48But like the instances of that are few and far between.
- 1:37:53Yeah it's it's like a few and the vote of The Wider majority
- 1:37:56or exactly how you've laid out just that.
- 1:37:58Yeah. And even then if they're like
- 1:38:01allowed to go free, These people are probably either drowning in
- 1:38:05debt because they have Nets above where the chickens are
- 1:38:10allowed to roam free to keep predation away.
- 1:38:12Or this chicken is randomly sitting here and then a falcon
- 1:38:16just eats him off the ground. And then how about just a
- 1:38:23friend, we have them in the UK but that would obviously be an
- 1:38:27issue in America. Oh yeah, you don't have a birds
- 1:38:30of prey Falcons Hawkins. I'm not so sure.
- 1:38:37I think that's where falconry was like majorly adopt because I
- 1:38:41mean the British like had their hand in every honey pot.
- 1:38:44So like yeah there are certain I think there are certain possibly
- 1:38:50in Scotland. Have a feeling in school.
- 1:38:52Okay. Yeah.
- 1:38:52Okay. I can see that but ya know like
- 1:38:54I had a friend, like he had a red tail hawk, pretty big,
- 1:38:57pretty big bird and he had a chicken that he liked Hills.
- 1:39:01Like he was like yeah, sure whatever.
- 1:39:03Because like if you have a chicken, it's going to have
- 1:39:06chicks. So he grabbed my I'd say it was
- 1:39:08about teenage years. They threw the chicken out
- 1:39:11there. The chicken kind of flap lighted
- 1:39:12safely on the grass. He wasn't like just pile driving
- 1:39:15it on the ground but he threw that popped up that Hawk circled
- 1:39:19and that Hawk just went and just like straight dive and then an
- 1:39:23imperfect V Vector. Hit that chicken and then went
- 1:39:26boom. Right back up and went to his
- 1:39:28leg, which was little nest and just because, I mean, it'll
- 1:39:31happen in a moment. In an instant that's happened to
- 1:39:34dull small, dogs and cats some chill.
- 1:39:38Like this. There was this one video where
- 1:39:41this Eagle came down and tried to grab this child?
- 1:39:43I would like, they don't care. They do not care if they are
- 1:39:46apex predators. Oh no.
- 1:39:48For sure. Yeah.
- 1:39:48And he called got pie morals to, but Jesus Christ.
- 1:39:51That's they don't give a shit if they're big enough.
- 1:39:54If they're big enough and a baby's, not a baby's nothing.
- 1:39:56A baby's, like, went all the time.
- 1:40:00That's terrifying to think about man.
- 1:40:02He wasn't big enough to carry him off, but he thought he was
- 1:40:05just going to get him back his jugular.
- 1:40:07And then just start eating them and like, the parents would run
- 1:40:09away in fear. But no, like the dad, like chop
- 1:40:12them in the Necker like chop. The burden the song like he got.
- 1:40:15Punched you'd have to eat. Oh my god.
- 1:40:23Well, thanks for sharing. That was quite a whirlwind,
- 1:40:26right? Yeah.
- 1:40:29Moving it Forward. What your hobbies and interests
- 1:40:31outside of podcasting and everything else.
- 1:40:35The fishing my family? He owns a family owns a what?
- 1:40:411,200 Acres of property so a lot of that has been like, exploring
- 1:40:48like nature wildlife, fishing containg, a lot of that.
- 1:40:52Just like your basic stuff. I have like, so, I've married my
- 1:40:56wife is from Vietnam that we met at a college that we went
- 1:40:59together and she's introduced me to a lot of traveling.
- 1:41:04So and I do and I love it, I really don't.
- 1:41:06Like I remember going to New York, I thought it was going to
- 1:41:08be like, like, just terrible. All is just going to be like,
- 1:41:13but the energy I loved it Mike because and I heard about it
- 1:41:18later like a lot of people are like they can't handle the
- 1:41:21energy, but I've always been and this is a weird connection to
- 1:41:27make. I've always been a fairy fast
- 1:41:29Walker. Like, I've always walked very
- 1:41:32fast at a very Advanced paste, like almost kind of like a jog,
- 1:41:38really? Like my stance is super wide in
- 1:41:40between. Steps.
- 1:41:41And then they I just move very fast and down here.
- 1:41:45That's something you don't do like it life is slow life is
- 1:41:48just okay. Yeah.
- 1:41:50But in New York people are just fucking going.
- 1:41:53Yeah and I've just felt kind of at home like finally I can like
- 1:41:57keep I like everyone's on my pace and that's something I
- 1:42:00really didn't. Oh my God, I hate it.
- 1:42:02When you get like slow people when you're in a major city,
- 1:42:04man. It's like a motherfucker move or
- 1:42:07get out of the way. Just like, shove their head, get
- 1:42:11out. It's like when you go to places
- 1:42:12like Oxford Circus in London, you see people like, dude, it's
- 1:42:16like where do you think you are like?
- 1:42:18Yes, what is wrong with you? Absolutely, but I mean, that the
- 1:42:24food diversity. I just, I love that.
- 1:42:27There's a Little Havana tiny, Japan, Korea, trying to channel
- 1:42:33like the food diversity. Because all it is down.
- 1:42:35Here is just like, It's like chips, it's McDonald's.
- 1:42:39Its use of course you've got your like, your barbecue and
- 1:42:42your steak, but again a lot of people make 725 so they can't
- 1:42:46afford that that's a week at. That's a, that's a birthday
- 1:42:48dinner. You can't go to firebird and get
- 1:42:51$50 for to people because $50 is like at 7:25 that's like two
- 1:42:55days worth of work. Wow.
- 1:42:58So and it's so cheap over there. Like it's like this giant bowl
- 1:43:03of food for barely anything. Like comparative.
- 1:43:06Like because everybody has to like compete against each other.
- 1:43:10Like so if you have a family that has a restaurant and then
- 1:43:13like to a pet bed rooms above it, they can sell their food for
- 1:43:17cheap because they just have to have to pay rent on the
- 1:43:21restaurant because the apartments above them that's
- 1:43:25included on the restaurant bill. So but here you have a family
- 1:43:30restaurant and then that, and then that family has a 250
- 1:43:33thousand dollar house. Because if they don't have a big
- 1:43:36house, everybody thinks they're not successful so they have to
- 1:43:39charge more on their food. And then people can't afford to
- 1:43:43eat it. Yes, it's really weird.
- 1:43:48So like down here you have this opportunity for a lot of stuff
- 1:43:54but people aren't willing to either invest or pay for it
- 1:43:57which goes back to what I told you about the taco truck because
- 1:44:02their foods not cheap, it's delicious but it's mid-price but
- 1:44:07you have people that eat there, three times a week so, I mean,
- 1:44:13It like it's possible but it doesn't happen.
- 1:44:18Those examples are like you said few and far between so it's
- 1:44:22really weird down here. It's like, and I don't really
- 1:44:26know if I want it to change because at the same time while I
- 1:44:30do like, diversity up and go. I liked it for that instance.
- 1:44:36I don't know if I would like it every day.
- 1:44:40Let's dive into this a bit more. What are the best and worst
- 1:44:45things about living in Alabama. So, Alabama, this is a picture
- 1:44:49right now. So Alabama.
- 1:44:52Good at good and bad, though. I be be just, just be like as
- 1:44:55honest as possible. Oh, I intend to do it, cheap.
- 1:45:01Here, it is so cheap to live here, because nobody makes
- 1:45:06money. If you make money, you're set,
- 1:45:09okay. So that 250 thousand dollar
- 1:45:13house that that family that restaurant had that I was
- 1:45:15telling you about it's 250 thousand dollars but it also has
- 1:45:21four five empty bedrooms because there's not enough people in the
- 1:45:24house to occupy it. So it's a big so they get a
- 1:45:28house that big because they want that money.
- 1:45:31They want 60 cost that much but they can't like like they can't
- 1:45:37make it fit their family and cost what they needed the cost.
- 1:45:41So there's a lot of wasted space in that regard but at the same
- 1:45:47time the property is so cheap. That you can afford to waste
- 1:45:52that space. Like I mean it can literally
- 1:45:54just sit there and it's not like no but like someone will stop.
- 1:45:58Nobody will be like left out. like no one's going to be hurt
- 1:46:04because you decided to build three extra Three extra
- 1:46:09bedrooms. Like no one's going to be hurt
- 1:46:11off of that. If someone in New York tried
- 1:46:13taking three extra Apartments. That's three families that don't
- 1:46:16have an apartment That's not happening over here.
- 1:46:19There's so much space. And there's so much space.
- 1:46:24Like I have five neighbors around me, where different
- 1:46:30families originally came down to Alabama, pop this up, as a
- 1:46:35homestead, kept it in the family and they're like they were so
- 1:46:38tight over the the trip that they just does like hey y'all so
- 1:46:42just like living Their neighbors but they're like real.
- 1:46:48They're like a good five minute walk.
- 1:46:51Hmm. So but then on the other side,
- 1:46:56let's say for whatever reason and these are all old people.
- 1:46:58I'm the only like, 20, something like all these other people dead
- 1:47:02in 10 years. Like, it's unfortunate but dead
- 1:47:04in 10 years, but if they were all my age and somebody like,
- 1:47:09let's say me for instance, I think is what's kind of cute.
- 1:47:14She thinks I'm kind of cute. well, sneak around and bump
- 1:47:17uglies, he will murder me in an instant and it can it can it
- 1:47:22could like Up down here. Something like my cheese, keep
- 1:47:30their mouths shut because you know what, that's what you get
- 1:47:33for cheating on. That's what you get for like
- 1:47:36doing another man's wife. So they're weird cultural
- 1:47:40things, and I would say allowances he would be arrested
- 1:47:46but he may be given leniency. So you have to be able to learn
- 1:47:52to, you can't just move here. And just decide you're here.
- 1:47:57You have to adjust to the culture.
- 1:48:00Obviously, actually, I don't really know because they're in
- 1:48:03the city, people might just be running around, just be like,
- 1:48:06doing that kind of stuff. I don't know, maybe, but you
- 1:48:09can't, you your, I have to feel your way around here, but the
- 1:48:15restaurants are nice. The political atmosphere, if
- 1:48:20you're on the side, you don't have to worry about like
- 1:48:23Georgia, Georgia flipped, George elected, by Georgia.
- 1:48:26Just had new to new Democratic senators.
- 1:48:31So Democrats on the Senate house and president.
- 1:48:41What they do and lest it goes down, it's not going to affect
- 1:48:45Alabama. So if you like owning guns,
- 1:48:49paying low taxes, If you like me being a legal, I don't know why
- 1:48:54you would but whatever Alabama's not changing for a while except
- 1:48:57for the week where they may change that to maybe do that
- 1:48:59federally, but that's the only instance.
- 1:49:03So it really is a, if you choose it to be, you can go to a city,
- 1:49:09like let's go. You can live that kind of small
- 1:49:13City Life, or you can live 30 minutes from any major known
- 1:49:18City with no neighbors for 20 miles.
- 1:49:22And you can just be yourself, you can literally put up a log
- 1:49:26cabin. There's no, there's no permits
- 1:49:28or home security boards, that you can grab an acre property,
- 1:49:373000 cabin and solar panels. LTE wireless phone connection
- 1:49:46and you can just live by yourself.
- 1:49:48So it really does have that kind of like difference where you can
- 1:49:53five minutes be in a city. drive down 20 minutes and then being
- 1:49:58somebody's home stat where they have like Make America great.
- 1:50:02Again, the South shall rise. Again, kind of flags like, deers
- 1:50:07hanging from a tree from a killing out last night, even
- 1:50:11though it's out of season, like, it really is like Both ends of
- 1:50:16the spectrum. It's like it.
- 1:50:18Like it is, there's no uniformity whatsoever.
- 1:50:22So what I would say to get people to move here, there's no
- 1:50:26uniformity. So you find your place on that
- 1:50:29gauge and you live there? Okay, well, thanks for sharing.
- 1:50:35I appreciate that. Moving it Forward.
- 1:50:38I just want to ask you like how hos was.
- 1:50:41He covid-19 affected you personally and also Obama like,
- 1:50:45what's been the kind of response to covid-19 and lab Alabama?
- 1:50:50I like to ask a lot of my guests, this just because
- 1:50:52they're from all around the world.
- 1:50:53And you have different responses, different
- 1:50:55restrictions and so on. So how has it been for you and
- 1:50:59in Alabama? So again, Thanks Florida,
- 1:51:12Florida. Pretty much just said, like
- 1:51:13y'all do you or their third? There are budget is so heavenly
- 1:51:19dependent on tourism than they could shut anything down.
- 1:51:22So the end Alabama, doesn't really apply to that.
- 1:51:26They don't really have, we don't really have tourism.
- 1:51:30But at the same time, the government, the governor
- 1:51:34governor kiv introduced mask mandates month to month, And
- 1:51:41then some of her old, police Chiefs said they were fused of
- 1:51:45Holden, so it kind of doesn't matter, it wouldn't matter.
- 1:51:51Walmart said, you'll have to wear masks in our stores.
- 1:51:56Some citizens of Alabama said, fuck you.
- 1:51:59I'm coming in regardless and then it's so it happens.
- 1:52:03Sometimes that will Burns just like yeah, sure, whatever just
- 1:52:05wear masks if you want to it's not we can't we can't put up
- 1:52:08with a headache because people were being friends like Like you
- 1:52:12you got like some Karen's over there.
- 1:52:15There there baby. Wanted some Goldfish right now.
- 1:52:19Hmm. And Lady Walmart man.
- 1:52:22Please For the safety of us in our pain of others and this lady
- 1:52:28might have gone, many too many branched off q and on sites
- 1:52:33where she determined that masks are dangerous because you're
- 1:52:36breathing in your own carbon dioxide and the germs, you Excel
- 1:52:41and covid-19 19 some real anyway.
- 1:52:43And I will not be a sheep and do what the government tells me to.
- 1:52:47So you have a lot of those people because I remember
- 1:52:51because we went to, we went to Boston to live with Family for
- 1:52:54two months. And I think it was a early June
- 1:52:59late May to August, did our to took her test when there were
- 1:53:04fine. Nobody like, I mean, we didn't
- 1:53:05do it, your responsibly like bobbing along, see, somebody
- 1:53:08bought us, we would drive up there.
- 1:53:10Go off on somebody, get him sick and drive back and just not know
- 1:53:12about it, but we did test it all that everyone were masked.
- 1:53:17Everybody did what they were supposed to six speed.
- 1:53:35Sisters and one brother. Okay, sisters, what's going to
- 1:53:40think an entire maskless Christmas party?
- 1:53:45Invited everybody over me, her section of the family her
- 1:53:49children. They're very their children's
- 1:53:50children my family, our mom's a nurse.
- 1:53:58So, I mean, and we, we brought around, like, nursing stuff Our
- 1:54:02Lives. I knew from the beginning.
- 1:54:05I remember listening to Philip DeFranco and different
- 1:54:07podcasters in early December and the second they were talking
- 1:54:11about the asymptomatic spread out like this is going to be
- 1:54:14different like you can a flu. You know, you have the flu, you
- 1:54:17stay home. If you're too weak, still
- 1:54:19spraying the different by. So I mean, from the jump, like
- 1:54:21this is going to be something different they made.
- 1:54:24I didn't expect it to get as big as it was, but I knew it was
- 1:54:28going to be different. So we haven't had anything like
- 1:54:31if we, if we meet it's outside in the sunlight.
- 1:54:35Like we breathe UV hits and kills.
- 1:54:36It is not gonna do anything, but we don't have indoor meetings
- 1:54:42for more than like 10 minutes and even so Global come for like
- 1:54:46spray everything with Lysol trying to like kill it.
- 1:54:48All of the good stuff, kill it kill like in are but one of the
- 1:54:55grandchildren decided to come down from over from University.
- 1:55:00On her boyfriend, had confident now, hopefully people have covid
- 1:55:05and the grandmother Mike is in the hospital with pneumonia.
- 1:55:11In both lungs. Applying lower in covid into
- 1:55:13zombies. We have that freedom but then
- 1:55:18you also have the consequences of using that freedom.
- 1:55:21Hmm. So you have people like my
- 1:55:24family by my side of the family that do as experts say and do as
- 1:55:30common sense like says And we're fun.
- 1:55:34Like my mom's a cancer survivor, my dad has to mention if they
- 1:55:38get it. Let's just say it may.
- 1:55:42My mom's already. Pulled me aside.
- 1:56:09Her experience as a nurse to be able to act smart disinfect.
- 1:56:14Her Khloe got to the house. Tucker uniform off, throw it in
- 1:56:19a bag. Hit it, with some disinfectant,
- 1:56:22scrubbed herself. Down with some Clorox.
- 1:56:24Bleach had a mask on, like she have been 95.
- 1:56:28Max, you don't have these, like, little like masks are effective,
- 1:56:35but this is like, well, it will work around her nose and her,
- 1:56:44where it was conform. Yeah, that's how it works.
- 1:56:48It will work if you have a bruise, it's working.
- 1:56:50Sadly, it looks ugly, but it works.
- 1:56:53So but the other sides of the families they decided that They
- 1:57:00were going to kind of listen to more of what their political
- 1:57:04party said as far as you don't have to worry about it, don't
- 1:57:08let them take your freedoms. And my aunt might, like I say
- 1:57:14this with, like a sense of like, I did.
- 1:57:17I do feel sorry for her, but at the same time, I can't let
- 1:57:21familial ties. Keep me from saying they might
- 1:57:27have probably kind of brought it upon themselves by not testing,
- 1:57:31not wearing masks allowing. Such a, large people, large
- 1:57:34group of people to be inside an enclosed building.
- 1:57:39They weren't outside. They weren't, they have a
- 1:57:41substantial. It's backyard but it's Christmas
- 1:57:44and it's cold. So let's go inside where it's
- 1:57:46warm. So Anyone else I would openly
- 1:57:52say you get what you deserve but I it's kind of hard for me since
- 1:57:56their immediate family like like this woman helped, raise me.
- 1:57:59So it's kind of hard saying that but at the same time I can't let
- 1:58:03that I can't let that stop me from saying obviously what what
- 1:58:07is obvious? So you have a lot of people like
- 1:58:11us that listen to The Experts and do as they're told and we're
- 1:58:14fine even with my mom working in medical and she's been on these
- 1:58:18testing lines, like she's Tested people.
- 1:58:21She's had a couple of stairs where she's like, Ruthie we have
- 1:58:24this one guy, he tested positive.
- 1:58:25We're going to need you to take a test and take a day off.
- 1:58:27Hey she's like okay fine. She hasn't gotten sick my dad,
- 1:58:31he stayed home. He hasn't gotten sick.
- 1:58:35We go out like I'm fine I'll take my vitamin D.
- 1:58:39I'll take my think I'll drink my vitamin C juices and stuff.
- 1:58:44I-i'm fine. But every time we go over there,
- 1:58:47it's outside in the sunlight. If it's raining or anything, we
- 1:58:50won't go. But if it's in the sunlight
- 1:58:52outside will hang out, we'll have like a dinner with like,
- 1:58:56Separate Tables and stuff, but We're not going to be in a room
- 1:59:01with like 20 people, not knowing where they've been and how
- 1:59:04they've got if they've gotten it.
- 1:59:05So you really do have those two people one sides fine.
- 1:59:09The other side, they might have lost a family member or they
- 1:59:12might about to lose a family member.
- 1:59:15So but other than that and the people who decide to wear masks
- 1:59:20and not wear masks in stores, nothing's really changed.
- 1:59:25Is there a load of like aggression between those groups
- 1:59:28because I've heard in In certain parts of the world and time,
- 1:59:31Oscars get like aggressive towards people that wear masks
- 1:59:35which I've always kind of found nonsensical because it's, you
- 1:59:38know, it doesn't really affect people if you wear a mask to
- 1:59:42affects people who don't wear a mask.
- 1:59:44But if you don't, if you do wear a mask, that's not really
- 1:59:46affecting anyone, you know what I mean?
- 1:59:48So, just curious what you, you know, what has been the any of
- 1:59:51that in Alabama. a lot of people who wear masks, And it's very
- 2:00:00easy to get this way. They kind of have themselves on
- 2:00:04this kind of, like, self-righteous high horse.
- 2:00:08Okay. They feel like they're
- 2:00:10sacrificing because in a way it is.
- 2:00:11Sacrificing like you, you are wearing something that you
- 2:00:15normally wouldn't like. This is, they feel it is a
- 2:00:19stressful time. People are dying and they are
- 2:00:21dying. So if you see someone not
- 2:00:25wearing a mask, And enough conditions are met, maybe you've
- 2:00:32had someone who's sick, maybe you've got someone who's died.
- 2:00:35Maybe you're a Democrat and you feel like listen to science.
- 2:00:39And now you see someone who's not wearing a mask, nine times
- 2:00:42out of ten that person's going to be a republican.
- 2:00:45So you already have that association with Democratic
- 2:00:48Republic, which is wild that that Association has been made,
- 2:00:52but it has. So we have to live with that
- 2:00:54reality. So yes.
- 2:00:59I can see how New York and California people can get
- 2:01:01aggressive but again we're in Alabama.
- 2:01:05People have guns, you might not necessarily know if that person
- 2:01:09has a gun. So while they may say something,
- 2:01:12hey man, you should probably wear a mask, fuck you.
- 2:01:15All right, sure whatever, man, that's as far as it's going to
- 2:01:18go, you're not going to get someone in their face.
- 2:01:20The closest you're going to come to.
- 2:01:21That is the 65 year old man. That's going to walk into
- 2:01:25Walmart to buy food and then he doesn't want.
- 2:01:28I'm wear a mask because torque Tucker Carlson says not to.
- 2:01:31Hmm and then him and the Walmart.
- 2:01:33And that's as far as you're going to get an employee, who
- 2:01:36feels a certain way that hasn't been told.
- 2:01:38Otherwise by management is like, hey man, you can't come in here.
- 2:01:42But even then that died out pretty quick here in Alabama.
- 2:01:47Cool. Thanks for sharing, I appreciate
- 2:01:49that. And obviously you know, I hope
- 2:01:53that you and your family continue to stay safe and stuff.
- 2:01:56Like I know we're not really out of the woods yet with that in
- 2:01:59the UK we've just entered another lockdown and yeah cases
- 2:02:03are rising rapidly and it's you had that new variant.
- 2:02:07Yes. Apparently I don't really know
- 2:02:10what to make of it. Like 70% more.
- 2:02:15Infect, the Bible like it's Fifty to seventy percent.
- 2:02:18Yeah, that's apparently what it is.
- 2:02:22I don't know man. I mean it's interesting to me
- 2:02:24because I've been living in Manchester which is the in the
- 2:02:28middle of the country and supposedly with one of the
- 2:02:31biggest hot spots and we Min essentially lock down this whole
- 2:02:36time like it I'll be honest. This new lockdown has not really
- 2:02:38changed anything for us. It's like okay.
- 2:02:40Now the shops are shut. It's pretty much just that
- 2:02:43everything else has been shot anyway.
- 2:02:44So but anyway to the point, you know, I've been on the front
- 2:02:49lines with this. I've been I chose to volunteer
- 2:02:53as quite a sort of a crazy time to do so but I figured like if
- 2:02:57you're ever going to volunteer Now's the Time, so I started
- 2:03:00doing that in October and I normally do it every Monday.
- 2:03:04Sometimes I do it several times a week but this, we've always
- 2:03:09been very sensible. We change our mask several times
- 2:03:12in a day constantly, washing our hands throwing stuff away and
- 2:03:16doing all the measures that you supposed to do and you know, we
- 2:03:20haven't we've only had like a couple of Is in in our place.
- 2:03:23But largely, it's difficult to know gentleman because there are
- 2:03:28people getting sick every day. There are obviously people dying
- 2:03:33but then, as I've said, since the very beginning of this,
- 2:03:36every time I look at the numbers, it always seems that
- 2:03:39the case rate is high, but the death rate is not as high.
- 2:03:45Like it's yeah. Now what like what would it
- 2:03:48really isn't? A mean this is.
- 2:03:49This is the thing. Yeah.
- 2:03:50Well it's It's like for its a four percent Global death rate
- 2:03:56versus a 99%? No.
- 2:03:58Sorry, 96 percent recovery rate. This is wild one as well.
- 2:04:02Yeah, when you compare it to other countries, sorry to other
- 2:04:08illnesses. We've had diseases over the
- 2:04:10years. It's still not that high.
- 2:04:12That if okay for argument's sake if we would suddenly just have
- 2:04:15like 10 million deaths worldwide, then I'll be like,
- 2:04:17yeah this is this is really this is like this could end It's us
- 2:04:22potentially like it's one of those things, right?
- 2:04:24But at no point have I felt like, wait, like I'm more kind
- 2:04:28of stressed about like other things, like, you know, are we
- 2:04:32ever gonna go back to the way things were?
- 2:04:35What does this mean for future freedoms?
- 2:04:37General? I mean, like I oh, I wonder
- 2:04:39about stuff like that and I get more stress to look because
- 2:04:43eventually things things do have to eventually return to some
- 2:04:46resemblance of normality for society to continue and some
- 2:04:51Agree, you know? Maybe you're right.
- 2:04:54You are so many of our Industries have been affected.
- 2:04:56Like, obviously in the states. You've got at least the kind of
- 2:05:01the benefit of having like a lot more space there for.
- 2:05:04Like, if you have, you know, sporting venues, you can still
- 2:05:08run them to some extent. You can't run them to the same
- 2:05:11capacity, but you can have like a 40,000 Cedar Run it like with
- 2:05:164,000 people in it and that will be acceptable.
- 2:05:19Whereas like in the UK living, probably To 20,000 frudakis.
- 2:05:25Oh they're bars and Texas running it 2/3, capacity.
- 2:05:30Wow, Congress in Texas. Like like I mean, yeah, no 4,000
- 2:05:36people. They wouldn't even attempted.
- 2:05:37They're like no half capacity. Skip every other seat.
- 2:05:42I suppose that you commonly apply the same logic to every
- 2:05:44country. They can you like?
- 2:05:46Yeah, because it amazes me when I hear about the way things are
- 2:05:49in America. The way, it's in China Italy
- 2:05:52were ever. Like, it's always so very
- 2:05:54different and every country is like, seemingly a different
- 2:05:58stage somewhere, like more regressed like the UK where
- 2:06:01we're just pretty much In Perpetual lockdown.
- 2:06:04And you've got two states where it's like, it really does seem
- 2:06:06like it's a state-by-state difference.
- 2:06:08So some states are stricter than others and stuff and like you
- 2:06:11say in Texas, This, you've got a lot of space, so not Texas.
- 2:06:14Alabama, you've got a lot of space.
- 2:06:16So it kind of I suppose in that regard, you can make a lot of
- 2:06:20arguments for kind of having those places open and I don't
- 2:06:28know, it's a circuit is the family greet.
- 2:06:30It's the family meetings that do it because Rick.
- 2:06:33Yeah, I mean out, here we go to Walmart, we get our food, we go
- 2:06:39to the gas station, we get our gas, we go to Lowe's, get some
- 2:06:42home equipment, we're in and out in an hour and then we're back
- 2:06:45home and we're good, we go to work.
- 2:06:48We have like, I mean because like on the line they'll have
- 2:06:51like a line for people and then that's where you would like grab
- 2:06:55your It's and then separate the fat from them, for the fat, back
- 2:06:58on the line and throw the nuggets in the Nugget line, they
- 2:07:01have sheets of metal like, cubicles set up now, separating
- 2:07:06people. So, I mean, with masks masks are
- 2:07:08mandatory at the job because it is a humid cold environment
- 2:07:12where this virus thrives. But other than that, I don't
- 2:07:16really think I've heard of too many cases over there but uh,
- 2:07:21no. I mean, you're not like New York
- 2:07:23and California where you have 100,000 People living in a block
- 2:07:28of apartment buildings. So, in a block, you have my
- 2:07:34parents house or you have three houses of mine or three me and
- 2:07:39two of my neighbors, the see you don't have people stacked on
- 2:07:41each other and if we do talk, it's at six feet away in the
- 2:07:45open in the open, air with sunlight.
- 2:07:48So I mean even then it's like, we're not like you'd literally
- 2:07:51have to shove your tongue down the other dudes throat to get
- 2:07:54him. Infected.
- 2:07:54I mean, it's it's It's not gonna be it's not going to happen and
- 2:07:58it really isn't right? So yeah, so the space and the
- 2:08:03Latin, the we don't have a very high population, it compared to
- 2:08:07California, New York and we're around the same size.
- 2:08:11I'm not a right necessarily sure.
- 2:08:12But I mean, looking at a map we kind of do.
- 2:08:15But no, and I think it is just having all these people living
- 2:08:19on top of each other is and again said this from the
- 2:08:23beginning, at the beginning of the lockdowns, this is going to
- 2:08:26change how cities are ran because if you because you're
- 2:08:31living in an apartment, That's like twelve hundred dollars a
- 2:08:36month in New York City with seven other people. so, you have
- 2:08:43to not only keep track of those seven people where they go, what
- 2:08:46they do, who they've been around, if that person's been
- 2:08:48infected. But now, you're also stuck in
- 2:08:51the house with them all day until they decide to go out
- 2:08:54there to maybe like, go visit a friend or something, maybe go
- 2:08:57pick up some food, maybe go grocery shopping.
- 2:09:02And you're in that house. So sooner or later that person
- 2:09:07is going to get bored and be like, yeah, I know nothing's
- 2:09:11gonna happen. Let's go see Jimmy, Jimmy's
- 2:09:13cool, right? It had a girl over five.
- 2:09:15Jimmy had a girl 50 over five hours ago and she s now, Jimmy
- 2:09:19gave it to you. And now all seven of y'all are
- 2:09:21infected and maybe one of y'all has diabetes or asthma and now
- 2:09:24that person is dead. But here you ain't got to worry
- 2:09:27about so cities. I think they are so expensive.
- 2:09:32They've been locked down and then you have like it's going to
- 2:09:36get to a point where you can hop in your Tesla.
- 2:09:39It drives you four hours to your job and you can sleep during
- 2:09:43that four hours there and back live at your house.
- 2:09:46So I think people are going to start spacing out a lot more as
- 2:09:52they start realizing. I used to have to live in this
- 2:09:56city, because that's where it's at.
- 2:09:58But now I can have a job interview over.
- 2:10:00Zoom. I can do my job from home with a
- 2:10:04substantial internet connection. So why am I paying 12,000
- 2:10:08throat? $1200 a month to live apartment,
- 2:10:12seven, other people, when the city shut down, makes no sense.
- 2:10:17Yeah, I couldn't agree more with that.
- 2:10:18This is very good point. There's a lot within this, like,
- 2:10:23people like to complain, but I have to say, like, I've been
- 2:10:25saying for years that remote working should be a thing, many
- 2:10:31business. Is that you don't need to
- 2:10:32physically be there to do your job.
- 2:10:35Like I do marketing and I can tell you probably 90% of that
- 2:10:41job. You don't need to do it like, ya
- 2:10:43know, hunt fucking 100% of that job.
- 2:10:44You don't need to do in person. Did the whole being in person
- 2:10:49thing meet beings, I suppose it depends on the type of person
- 2:10:52you are type of Team, you are, but a lot of the time it's just
- 2:10:55wasting time doing to me in meetings and stuff like you can
- 2:10:59get so much more done. I get so much more done.
- 2:11:01Done at home by myself. If I'm honest.
- 2:11:05Just the way is absolutely as we draw everything to a close
- 2:11:11today. Just want to ask you one final
- 2:11:13question. Do you have any upcoming
- 2:11:15projects or maybe some final thoughts that you'd like to
- 2:11:17share with us? I want to start diversifying my
- 2:11:23online presence. I always had Instagram, I follow
- 2:11:28other people, I used to post funny memes if I did that but
- 2:11:32then I realized that Facebook was a lot easier for that.
- 2:11:36So I haven't really been on their much, but I've started to
- 2:11:39realize more and more for reaching out, for people on
- 2:11:43Instagram, on Facebook, on Tick, Tock that I myself need to go
- 2:11:47out there and even with like, Instagram, Tick-Tock and twitch,
- 2:11:51you can make money off of that. So if I need 30 thousand dollars
- 2:11:56a year, Ten thousand dollars from three different.
- 2:12:01Websites is thirty thousand dollars so why not even why not
- 2:12:07try? So what I'm going to try and
- 2:12:082021 is not only project myself more on social media but also
- 2:12:15try to capitalize off of it. so, and that all in, Chasing my
- 2:12:24dream to maybe one day do this as a professional gig.
- 2:12:27So more guests, more diversity in the guests, I was kind of
- 2:12:32scared. All those going to be able to do
- 2:12:34is manga artist, cosplayers and Anime but I'm glad I'm glad I'm
- 2:12:40starting to get more small business people and on an
- 2:12:42author. I got an author, he's a one of
- 2:12:44my one of a friend of a friend and he was great, but yeah.
- 2:12:50I think 2021 is a, it's going to be a really good year of growth
- 2:12:53for me and I hope it is. But Yeah, I would just see where
- 2:12:58it goes and hopefully I can get people to subscribe to me if
- 2:13:02they've made it this deep in there, guys yall.
- 2:13:03Should definitely subscribe because you've obviously liked
- 2:13:06what's have been happening. So BC, ew on YouTube trolling
- 2:13:10badger on Instagram and Tick-Tock I'ma start doing a lot
- 2:13:14more on that maybe open up at which I'm not sure.
- 2:13:17Yes, it's like it, do it Yeah, but the scent but yeah.
- 2:13:23Just going to see all I can do. Maybe I can get some more twitch
- 2:13:26streamers because I mean if I can grab if I've got thousand
- 2:13:32people, like just that like a scenario, if you get 10,000
- 2:13:36people on, five different social media platforms, the odds, that
- 2:13:41all 10,000 of those people are the exact same people.
- 2:13:44It's not that it's like, they'll be some, they'll be some
- 2:13:47commonalities, but there it won't be all of them.
- 2:13:50It's very good point. So if you get them just
- 2:13:53cross-pollinate on each platform and cut and I say this, I don't
- 2:13:58like the word cult, but develop a cult following.
- 2:14:02I mean you can't go wrong because if I get 3,000 people to
- 2:14:06give me a dollar on patreon every month.
- 2:14:09That's three thousand dollars. So, I mean it it's hard to get
- 2:14:14there but once you're there, you're there.
- 2:14:17So I just got to get there. Well, I wish you the best of
- 2:14:20luck. I think you're definitely.
- 2:14:24I definitely think you do that. You'll make.
- 2:14:26I mean, you clearly the very able to, you know, hold a
- 2:14:31conversation and, you know, keep it going.
- 2:14:34And yeah, it is a great thing. Like I've barely spoken during
- 2:14:38this podcast but it stands as a testament to you.
- 2:14:41And that's exactly how One of it and I think it's great.
- 2:14:45I mean that that ability to just sort of talk and keep it going
- 2:14:49and not and not just ramble on but like actually kind of speak
- 2:14:54about things and give your value and worth in the conversations.
- 2:14:58Because I mean the whole time that you're doing the podcast,
- 2:15:00you know, you always thinking about the viewer.
- 2:15:03And if they'll find this interesting and what they'll
- 2:15:05gain from it and stuff like that, like, I always say that at
- 2:15:08the end of my podcasts that for everyone to kind of You know, to
- 2:15:13reach out and say what they like this.
- 2:15:15Like and so on, and I always encourage that because, you
- 2:15:18know, you want to know what your audience tinks, first and
- 2:15:21foremost, but at the same time, as you said, like your audiences
- 2:15:24in different places different mindsets.
- 2:15:25They like different things. So you gotta kind of like almost
- 2:15:28cater for all, but that ability to speak is such a important
- 2:15:33thing, especially with a podcast and not everyone has it.
- 2:15:37You know, I've been, I've met many podcasters during the time
- 2:15:40of been doing this and Some people I think are really going
- 2:15:44to make it other people, it's not that they can't make it but
- 2:15:47I think there's a lot of work that needs to be done.
- 2:15:49Like you you need to be the sort of not afraid to talk and kind
- 2:15:54of just absolutely right. Exactly.
- 2:15:57And a lot of my podcast and I'm going to try and start making
- 2:16:01this different but a lot of them have not been straight.
- 2:16:04Like I don't have a list of questions so and I have inside
- 2:16:10and of course these were with bit more with friends so I knew
- 2:16:13them already but as I find like these people on Tick Tock and I
- 2:16:16may not have time to go through their videos and find points of
- 2:16:19interest to discuss. I'm either going to have to
- 2:16:22change that or start writing down some generic questions.
- 2:16:24But yeah, I like I know a lot of people like there's a couple of
- 2:16:28podcasters. I've talked to where they are,
- 2:16:31wholly dependent on their on their scripts.
- 2:16:36Like they like they have no. Like they don't have an ability
- 2:16:39to like to think on their feet, which like, I've told them as
- 2:16:43nice as possible is like, you need to, you need to find out
- 2:16:45ability because if you don't just like, you're not going to
- 2:16:47go, it's not that you won't go far, but you're going to be,
- 2:16:50you're going to go somewhere and then you're going to stay there
- 2:16:52because there's not much room for growth if you yourself are
- 2:16:55not able to grow. Yeah, I agree.
- 2:16:57I mean I always write notes for Godless and questions but I feel
- 2:17:01like yeah you should use it as a guide and less of a kind of like
- 2:17:07a way to structure the All cost and await, you know, something
- 2:17:10to refer to. But ultimately look at what the
- 2:17:12conversation is and how it's going and try and ad-lib
- 2:17:16questions. You know, our friend several
- 2:17:19ad-lib questions that you that weren't written down here.
- 2:17:21And I knew that that was going to happen because it always
- 2:17:24happens when you get like a discussion like this.
- 2:17:26And I feel like that a lot of the time.
- 2:17:28Those are the questions that will be much more kind of
- 2:17:33appreciated then the ones that you have written down because a
- 2:17:35lot of the time it's really generic stuff, you know, like
- 2:17:38What's your podcast like? Where are you from?
- 2:17:40What do you do for a job? You know that I feel like now
- 2:17:43it's more like a dozer to begin a points.
- 2:17:45There's a conversation starters and then you're trying to get
- 2:17:48that conversation flowing and continuing and get the bowl ball
- 2:17:53rolling and get the most out of it.
- 2:17:54You know. That's what you want to be doing
- 2:17:56with a compass. If you're not.
- 2:17:58If you're just like this, like this and then this one and then
- 2:18:02like, that's not yeah. Yeah and a lot of it, I found is
- 2:18:08a lot. A lot of these podcasters that
- 2:18:10kind of do their own thing. But then they don't like the
- 2:18:15sound of their own voice. So they're like, I got to get
- 2:18:16another guest but they would probably be more fitted towards
- 2:18:22these like deep analysis points, where they research and disgusts
- 2:18:27into a podcast, but they also want to like cross-platform
- 2:18:31because that is the easiest way to grow.
- 2:18:33Mhm. Absolutely.
- 2:18:38Yeah, well as we wrap things up here, I just want to say a
- 2:18:41massive, thank you for agreeing to be on the show.
- 2:18:44I've had a great including a man.
- 2:18:47Yeah no Absolutely. I'll be appearing towards the
- 2:18:49end of the month. This will probably be out in the
- 2:18:51next couple of days but I want to say a big thank you to you.
- 2:18:56And yeah, big thank you to my audience, everyone watching and
- 2:19:00listening to the Christian Reef podcast.
- 2:19:02We've made it into 2021. And yes.
- 2:19:05To be a very busy month for the podcast.
- 2:19:07There's a many more guests that will be appearing on the show.
- 2:19:11And as always, just let me know what you would like to hear on
- 2:19:14the podcast, who you would like to see next on the podcast.
- 2:19:17Let me know, be vocal, be vocal in the comments on YouTube.
- 2:19:21Make sure you're subscribed, if you're not already.
- 2:19:24And yeah, if you're using an audio platform, be it Spotify?
- 2:19:28Apple podcasts Google podcast wherever I think we're on, like
- 2:19:3210 different platforms. At this point, make sure you
- 2:19:34leave room. Review and let me know your
- 2:19:37thoughts. You know if it's good, it's bad,
- 2:19:38it's ugly. Let me know.
- 2:19:40I would love to know your opinions and yeah, thank you
- 2:19:44very much for listening to the Christian week podcast.
- 2:19:46And until next time, peace out one of us in the next one.
