Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Now this is the Mark Simon Show on sevent ten.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Woor Well, it's the big night tonight, the big Game
- 0:13Speaker 2: New York. We'll get to the President's visit and the
- 0:16Speaker 2: Knicks and a whole lot more. We'll get to the
- 0:19Speaker 2: most delusional, self important, pompous acid in history, Scott Pelley
- 0:26Speaker 2: embarrassing the hell out of himself with this bizarre interview.
- 0:31Speaker 2: We'll get to that, and then we'll get to President
- 0:33Speaker 2: Trump versus a Kristen Welker, Who was right? Who was wrong?
- 0:37Speaker 2: We'll get to crazy Mom Donnie. We'll get to Delaney Hall.
- 0:40Speaker 2: It's been inspected top to bottom. The truth is now
- 0:44Speaker 2: coming out. We'll get to California and Platner and more.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Stock market doing nicely today. Everything is up. There was
- 0:53Speaker 2: a sell off at Nasdaq. There was a sell off
- 0:56Speaker 2: in chip stocks on Friday. Now, I remember these chip
- 0:59Speaker 2: stocks like Mike Crown and other Micron had been up
- 1:01Speaker 2: like four so it's not surprising that would suddenly be
- 1:07Speaker 2: profit taking. And then there's a few other factors. Part
- 1:10Speaker 2: of that sell off was freeing up money for SpaceX,
- 1:15Speaker 2: the IPO, which is coming this Friday. This is going
- 1:18Speaker 2: to be the biggest IPO ever in the history of
- 1:21Speaker 2: the world. SpaceX becoming a public stock. The price has
- 1:25Speaker 2: been set at one hundred and thirty five dollars, but
- 1:28Speaker 2: you'll have to get in before the market opens to
- 1:30Speaker 2: get that price. Institutions will get it. Top buyers will
- 1:34Speaker 2: get it one hundred and thirty five dollars. Then it'll
- 1:36Speaker 2: open on the market and go absolutely insane. Expected to
- 1:40Speaker 2: hit two hundred, four hundred, five hundred by the time
- 1:43Speaker 2: you can actually buy it online. No buy it through
- 1:47Speaker 2: a broker, but a lot of money is being freed
- 1:50Speaker 2: up to spend on that. On Friday, so the knixt tonight, big, big, big,
- 1:57Speaker 2: big Game three tonight, President Trump will be there. He
- 2:00Speaker 2: spent the weekend in Bedminster, New Jersey for the first
- 2:04Speaker 2: time in a long time, so he'll be coming in
- 2:07Speaker 2: probably by helicopter. Manhattan around anywhere around the Garden Midtown
- 2:12Speaker 2: will be an absolute traffic nightmare with the President coming in,
- 2:19Speaker 2: coming and leaving, although leaving will be late, it shouldn't
- 2:22Speaker 2: be that much of a traffic problem. But because the
- 2:25Speaker 2: President is coming to the game, first time a president
- 2:28Speaker 2: has ever been at an NBA Championship. Because he'll be there,
- 2:32Speaker 2: security is unbelievable. At tonight's game, it will be tsa
- 2:37Speaker 2: style security. Everybody will get searched, frisk padded down, another
- 2:41Speaker 2: saying there's a strict no bag policy and that means
- 2:45Speaker 2: no bags, that means no purses. I don't care how
- 2:48Speaker 2: small it is. They say no purses will be allowed in.
- 2:51Speaker 2: And if you're coming to the game, which starts at
- 2:53Speaker 2: eight thirty, you have to get there before six thirty,
- 2:58Speaker 2: so it'll take two hours to check everybody in. Not
- 3:02Speaker 2: only no bags, but they're saying limit whatever items you
- 3:06Speaker 2: have in your pockets to as few as possible, just
- 3:09Speaker 2: bare minimum, so before you again. First time a president
- 3:14Speaker 2: has come, I guess of course he'll stay through the
- 3:17Speaker 2: whole game. He can't leave in the middle of the game.
- 3:19Speaker 2: But it'll be in the luxury suite of James Dolan,
- 3:24Speaker 2: which should have a lot of notables there that he
- 3:27Speaker 2: can hang out with and talk to. And this is
- 3:30Speaker 2: President Trump on the Knicks.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Well, I'll be going to game three. I guess it's
- 3:34Speaker 3: Game three on Monday. I thought it was amazing. I
- 3:36Speaker 3: think that I think the Knicks have an amazing team.
- 3:39Speaker 3: The way they played started off slow and it just
- 3:42Speaker 3: got stronger and stronger.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty amazing game, winning by one point Friday Night.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Exciting ending to the game.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Fox gets it, bridges on him four seconds Fox one.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Mayo pulls up, jump up, won't go read abound talk
- 4:03Speaker 5: about but sell it's over.
- 4:05Speaker 1: It's over.
- 4:07Speaker 2: The Knicks survived.
- 4:09Speaker 6: This notch.
- 4:10Speaker 2: A corporate ride continues. Now there's no team in NBA
- 4:14Speaker 2: history in the championship that lost the first two games
- 4:18Speaker 2: at home and then came back to win.
- 4:20Speaker 1: So we'll see, we'll see.
- 4:22Speaker 2: So the watch party outside the garden has been canceled
- 4:25Speaker 2: because the President will be close by. The watch parties
- 4:29Speaker 2: will take place other places Woman Rink, Bryant Park, that
- 4:33Speaker 2: sort of stuff. But stay home and watch it. Best
- 4:36Speaker 2: way to watch it. So President Trump a big interview
- 4:40Speaker 2: on Meet the Press yesterday. This Kristen Welker, who's not
- 4:46Speaker 2: a good interviewer. He's not a great host. You know,
- 4:51Speaker 2: I think I'm the only one that still watches these
- 4:52Speaker 2: Sunday shows. Very few people watch these Sunday shows, And
- 4:56Speaker 2: I don't know why I still watch it. I just
- 4:58Speaker 2: I guess. I think I don't know the Maybe Tim
- 5:02Speaker 2: Russell will come back, or David Brinkley or Sam Donaldson.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Remember these great Sunday shows. You remember the ABC Sunday
- 5:08Speaker 2: Morning Show was David Brinkley, Sam Donaldson, Kochi Roberts, and
- 5:13Speaker 2: George will It was the most learned, thoughtful, highbrow, classy
- 5:18Speaker 2: show on television. Tim Russert was the host of Meet
- 5:22Speaker 2: the Press. It was phenomenal. He would ask the toughest
- 5:25Speaker 2: questions of both sides, and he would do follow ups
- 5:29Speaker 2: but politely. And all of that is gone, all of
- 5:33Speaker 2: that is long gone. And now you've got low lives
- 5:36Speaker 2: like Jonathan Carl and Martha Radditts. Once in a while,
- 5:42Speaker 2: a couple times a year, George Stephanoppolis shows up. And
- 5:45Speaker 2: then on Meet the Press you got to Kristen Welker's angry, vicious,
- 5:50Speaker 2: biased left winger and not that bright.
- 5:53Speaker 1: And then of.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Course on Face the Nation, I don't know, for a
- 5:58Speaker 2: million dollars, nobody could tell you who that woman is
- 6:02Speaker 2: Unfaced the Nation, I want to say, Margaret, I don't
- 6:06Speaker 2: know somebody hosts Face the Nation. Nobody even knows anymore.
- 6:10Speaker 2: But you know, Trump is kind of he's so old
- 6:14Speaker 2: school that he still believes in Time magazine, Meet the Press.
- 6:19Speaker 2: You know these great institutions of the past. I don't
- 6:22Speaker 2: think he wants to admit, same thing with me. You
- 6:25Speaker 2: just don't want to admit they're long gone, they don't
- 6:27Speaker 2: exist anymore. There's no reason to go on Meet the Press.
- 6:31Speaker 2: It's a tiny audience. It's an idiotic, corrupt host. There's
- 6:35Speaker 2: no it's not Tim Russard anymore. There's no reason to
- 6:39Speaker 2: be on Meet the Press. But again, he's an old
- 6:42Speaker 2: school guy Meet the Press. Still talks to Time magazine.
- 6:46Speaker 2: But Kristin Walker, who's not a good interviewer, she's you know,
- 6:50Speaker 2: it's one thing to be a reporter an anchor, but
- 6:53Speaker 2: to be an interview you got to be very conversational.
- 6:56Speaker 2: It loosens up the guests. You can't bang away a questions,
- 7:00Speaker 2: you know, reading them off a clipboard and you're like,
- 7:02Speaker 2: what do you say? Why do you blubhah? You can't
- 7:04Speaker 2: talk like that. You know, when you do an interview,
- 7:06Speaker 2: you got to make a conversational You gotta just you know,
- 7:10Speaker 2: gently get stuff out of the guests. She doesn't know
- 7:12Speaker 2: how to do that, and she's rude, viciously rude. So
- 7:16Speaker 2: it was done in Wisconsin. Trump was there for Department
- 7:19Speaker 2: of agriculture event brook Rollins. They found like a big barn,
- 7:25Speaker 2: but like a metal roof. The White House chose the
- 7:28Speaker 2: location from what I hear, and NBC was allowed to
- 7:32Speaker 2: come set up in there beforehand. So he shows up
- 7:35Speaker 2: to do the interview. It starts to rain, and it
- 7:37Speaker 2: is pounding rain, and it's a metal roof, so the
- 7:41Speaker 2: sound inside was so loud, and it was a vicious thunderstorm,
- 7:47Speaker 2: just pounding rain, and it got so loud you couldn't
- 7:51Speaker 2: hear each other. So they had to stop a few times.
- 7:54Speaker 2: And then another time they're going to stop, and Trump
- 7:56Speaker 2: goes out, let's just power through. Let's just go through this.
- 7:59Speaker 2: But he spent an hour interviewing, doing the interview an
- 8:02Speaker 2: hour and a couple of times they paused for five minutes.
- 8:05Speaker 2: But for the President the United States to give you
- 8:07Speaker 2: an hour of his time, that's a lot. And then
- 8:10Speaker 2: she's just getting rude er and rude er and ruder.
- 8:12Speaker 2: She's always interrupting him. It was a dirty election.
- 8:15Speaker 7: This is happening again right now in California, right now,
- 8:20Speaker 7: in California, right now, it's looking look at what's happened
- 8:24Speaker 7: in California that it's.
- 8:27Speaker 1: In California.
- 8:28Speaker 7: It's no, they're not there. They're dropping fast because it's
- 8:31Speaker 7: a rigged election.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Yeah, first of all, she has absolutely no evidence. It's
- 8:36Speaker 2: not rigged. You can keep yelling at him you have
- 8:39Speaker 2: no evidence. Well, she has no evidence either. Also, remember
- 8:42Speaker 2: he is the president of the United States and he's
- 8:43Speaker 2: got a handful of Department of Justice lawyers on the
- 8:47Speaker 2: ground in California already investigating this. I mean, is there evidence. Well,
- 8:53Speaker 2: the main evidence is that since you're doing these uh,
- 8:57Speaker 2: these mail ins, the ones that came after the election,
- 9:01Speaker 2: it's statistically impossible what's happening in the mail in. I mean,
- 9:05Speaker 2: we saw the bulk of the voting, and we see
- 9:08Speaker 2: what the percentages are. Now, they could vary a little
- 9:11Speaker 2: in the mail in, but they're the total, complete opposite
- 9:14Speaker 2: in the mail in. That's impossible, statistically impossible. It can't happen.
- 9:19Speaker 2: It's absolutely ridiculous. And why, I mean, everybody counts the
- 9:25Speaker 2: votes that night nine o'clock, polls close, here's the result.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Sometimes you got to wait till eleven twelve. There have
- 9:33Speaker 2: been some elections that were so close they couldn't call
- 9:36Speaker 2: it until the next morning. But there's never elections normal
- 9:40Speaker 2: legitimate elections were six seven days later, you still don't know,
- 9:44Speaker 2: and they're now saying thirty days to count this not
- 9:47Speaker 2: its absolutely preposterous. If that's evidence right there, thirty days,
- 9:52Speaker 2: well it's mail in votes. Where are you mailing this
- 9:55Speaker 2: from that? It will take twenty days to get there.
- 9:57Speaker 2: It's absolutely ridiculous, and nobody does it. Now if you're
- 10:02Speaker 2: watching Morning Joe, you won't know any I was watching
- 10:04Speaker 2: this crazy Morning Joe ms now show and they're going
- 10:09Speaker 2: through this ranting, raving about every state says thirty days.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Every state officially says thirty days to certify ely, there's
- 10:17Speaker 2: no state in the world ever before that couldn't tell
- 10:20Speaker 2: you who won the election the next day or that night,
- 10:23Speaker 2: so this is unheard of.
- 10:25Speaker 1: It.
- 10:25Speaker 2: It's absolutely ridiculous. So she's yelling and screaming and huffing
- 10:30Speaker 2: and puffing, and he's trying to make his point. You know, well,
- 10:33Speaker 2: here's him work. It's four days. Oh, this is a rally.
- 10:37Speaker 7: It's four days and they still aren't even close to
- 10:41Speaker 7: telling you who won, you know why, because they're rigging
- 10:44Speaker 7: the election.
- 10:44Speaker 2: That's well, that was at four days. It's now day
- 10:47Speaker 2: seven and they still still can't tell you. So he
- 10:50Speaker 2: was getting really annoyed with her, you know, when it
- 10:52Speaker 2: comes to January sixth, and he talked about how some
- 10:56Speaker 2: of the protesters were let in the FBI and the
- 10:59Speaker 2: infiltrating the crowd, and also the police just let them in,
- 11:02Speaker 2: and she's screaming there's no evidence, there's no evidence. Now,
- 11:06Speaker 2: I don't know why. I guess he just didn't think
- 11:07Speaker 2: of it. But not only is there evidence of that,
- 11:11Speaker 2: there were about six or seven cases of protesters where
- 11:15Speaker 2: their attorneys brought in video of the cops waving them in,
- 11:19Speaker 2: opening the gate and waving them in. You can see
- 11:21Speaker 2: it on the video. And there were a number of
- 11:24Speaker 2: cases where the judge threw the case out because it
- 11:27Speaker 2: was obvious it wasn't trespassing. The cops had opened the
- 11:31Speaker 2: gate and waved them in. He brought that up that
- 11:34Speaker 2: you can see the video, and it's pretty interesting that
- 11:37Speaker 2: an NBC anchor reporter isn't familiar with these videos. You
- 11:42Speaker 2: can go online and see them. So it got just
- 11:46Speaker 2: over and over and over. She's interrupting, owling and screaming
- 11:49Speaker 2: and huffing and puffing. So finally he walks out there.
- 11:51Speaker 7: Elections in this country were like a third world country.
- 11:54Speaker 7: So your elections are crooked, and you crook it. And
- 11:57Speaker 7: we's the presses crooked, and ABC and CBS and CNN's
- 12:04Speaker 7: the one sided crooked network. So let's call it quits
- 12:06Speaker 7: because I've had enough.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Thank you, darling, have a good time. So now, both sides.
- 12:16Speaker 2: For the last two days, the last day and a half,
- 12:21Speaker 2: the left has been yelling and screaming. This is incredible.
- 12:24Speaker 2: It shows he's totally unhinged. He's a maniac. He's rude,
- 12:29Speaker 2: he doesn't know how to behave like a president. He's unhinged.
- 12:32Speaker 2: I heard that a lot. He's out of control. So
- 12:34Speaker 2: for the left, it was a great victory for them.
- 12:37Speaker 2: But if you changed the channel from the right, it
- 12:40Speaker 2: was great. He told her off. She got what she deserved.
- 12:43Speaker 2: She was unhinged, she was interrupting like crazy. So to
- 12:46Speaker 2: both sides, it was wonderful. So for whatever side you're on,
- 12:49Speaker 2: if you think it's helping your side, it's not. It's
- 12:52Speaker 2: equal equal on both sides, and it was great. She's
- 12:55Speaker 2: yelling and at one point she said, I am not crooked.
- 12:58Speaker 2: That's a big mistake. That's how Nixon got into trouble.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Don't give him that quote. I am not a crook,
- 13:03Speaker 2: and she's yelling, I am not crooked. That clip is
- 13:07Speaker 2: going to be used a lot. Let's listen to it.
- 13:09Speaker 7: Elections in this country, we're like a third world country.
- 13:12Speaker 7: So your elections are crooked, and you crooked, and LEAs
- 13:15Speaker 7: the presses crooked, and so is ABC and CBS and CNN,
- 13:21Speaker 7: your one sided, crooked network. So let's call it quits
- 13:24Speaker 7: because I've had enough.
- 13:25Speaker 8: Thank you, darling, have a good time.
- 13:28Speaker 2: And he stands up and he takes the mic off
- 13:30Speaker 2: and throws it down, and then I think accidentally walked
- 13:33Speaker 2: over the mic and stepped on it. But they've called
- 13:37Speaker 2: each other, spoken on the phone, they've agreed to another interview.
- 13:40Speaker 2: They'll try it again. Hopefully she won't be so rude. Hey,
- 13:43Speaker 2: we uh will get to Scott Pelley, especially in the
- 13:46Speaker 2: next hour.
- 13:46Speaker 1: We'll get to it. This guy.
- 13:50Speaker 2: You gotta watch these videos of this interview. He is
- 13:52Speaker 2: the most self important, out of controlled, delusional, pompous ass
- 13:57Speaker 2: that has ever lived, breaks down rying in one of
- 14:00Speaker 2: these interviews. How dare she even think? How could she
- 14:07Speaker 2: even say that we're biased?
- 14:09Speaker 8: She I am told said something to the effect of
- 14:13Speaker 8: why do you think the country thinks you're biased? But
- 14:17Speaker 8: she didn't offer any kind of a metric. You know,
- 14:20Speaker 8: what's your metric? Why do you think?
- 14:22Speaker 1: So?
- 14:23Speaker 8: Do you have a poll? Is there market research? What
- 14:27Speaker 8: are you talking about? Because we certainly didn't believe that.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Yes, there is about four hundred polls of the show.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Hundreds of polls show that there's tons of market research
- 14:39Speaker 2: that shows that every poll ever taken shows that everybody,
- 14:44Speaker 2: well not everybody, but a majority think of the media's biased,
- 14:47Speaker 2: thinks CBS is biased. There's tons of metrics. And how
- 14:52Speaker 2: delusional is this guy and how bad or a porter
- 14:55Speaker 2: is he that he's not aware of these poles guys
- 14:59Speaker 2: in the media, This pole about him in sixty minutes
- 15:01Speaker 2: in the CBS, and he's not aware of them. Unbelievable.
- 15:05Speaker 2: It's amazing how little these people know. So just absolutely ridiculous,
- 15:12Speaker 2: pompous asked this guy.
- 15:14Speaker 8: Is One of the things Nick Bilton said in that
- 15:17Speaker 8: ill fated.
- 15:18Speaker 2: He's the new CBO, a new head of sixty minutes.
- 15:21Speaker 8: Email to the staff was that he was excited to
- 15:24Speaker 8: tell I'm paraphrasing here, he was excited to tell the
- 15:28Speaker 8: staff about the new crop of correspondence. And when I
- 15:34Speaker 8: saw that, I thought, Okay, they're going to fire all
- 15:37Speaker 8: of us.
- 15:40Speaker 2: How would you come to that conclusion that if I
- 15:44Speaker 2: heard they're hiring some new people, it doesn't mean they're
- 15:46Speaker 2: not going to fire me. That doesn't mean that you're
- 15:49Speaker 2: They're always hiring a new crop of correspondence, and they
- 15:53Speaker 2: didn't fire all of you. If beca apparently Leslie Stall
- 15:56Speaker 2: and a couple others are renegotiating their deals right now,
- 16:00Speaker 2: now you just got yourself fired with your kamikaze mission there. Anyway,
- 16:05Speaker 2: we'll get back to him, this crazy, crazy, self important,
- 16:10Speaker 2: delusional elitist moron. We'll get back to him. We'll take
- 16:14Speaker 2: some calls next. Eight hundred three to two one zero
- 16:18Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:22Speaker 2: zero seven ten Live.
- 16:24Speaker 7: From the WR Life Back.
- 16:26Speaker 8: Studios, Mark Simone.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:34Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number, and let's go to
- 16:37Speaker 2: Kevin Charlotte, North Carolina. Kevin, how you doing.
- 16:41Speaker 6: Okay?
- 16:41Speaker 4: Mark? In the election, that meant that every single write
- 16:45Speaker 4: in ballot in the last four days had to go
- 16:48Speaker 4: to Ramen, zero to Bath and zero to practice for
- 16:53Speaker 4: the for the matt to work, the Democrats would be
- 16:57Speaker 4: searching for judges right now to to halt this thing.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Here's the numbers on mail ends. Raman's gotten thirty seven
- 17:06Speaker 2: percent of them, bat Is Brett bass is getting thirty
- 17:09Speaker 2: five percent of them. Only fifteen percent, which is the
- 17:13Speaker 2: exact opposite of what happened with the regular voting. Good
- 17:17Speaker 2: indication that it is totally completely corrupt. Let's go to
- 17:22Speaker 2: George and Long Island. George, how you doing.
- 17:25Speaker 9: Hi, it's a beautiful day here in Port Jefferson. It is. Yeah,
- 17:29Speaker 9: it's beautiful.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Did you ever go to that restaurant prohibition?
- 17:32Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 17:32Speaker 9: I did. It's good.
- 17:33Speaker 2: It's very good.
- 17:35Speaker 9: I want to chats that place.
- 17:37Speaker 1: That opened up there as is very good.
- 17:38Speaker 2: You got Lisa Harris, the great baker.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Who has that.
- 17:41Speaker 9: But I was too. I'm cheap. It was like two
- 17:43Speaker 9: fifty for dinner.
- 17:44Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 17:44Speaker 9: I'm cheap of my old age. That's okay, but it's great.
- 17:49Speaker 9: I was a core clerk. I may have called you before,
- 17:51Speaker 9: and I know a little about election law. The state
- 17:54Speaker 9: have really overview of what goes on in the state.
- 17:57Speaker 9: When I'm proposing and if you have any lawyers to
- 18:00Speaker 9: call for the presidential election. I think they have to
- 18:03Speaker 9: put some legislation in for presidential election only that has
- 18:08Speaker 9: to be so loves.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it's called the Save Act. That's in Congress now,
- 18:12Speaker 2: the Save Act.
- 18:12Speaker 9: I hope they do it, because, let me tell you,
- 18:14Speaker 9: they're going to be my own adult children. They go
- 18:17Speaker 9: why should we go? Vote? Is probably not a legitimate.
- 18:21Speaker 9: It's really terrible when people, oh, actually.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Those kind of those are twenty somethings. You know what,
- 18:26Speaker 2: you shouldn't vote. Don't vote.
- 18:27Speaker 9: They're for their forties. I'm an old guy.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Oh okay, all right, Well now it's called the Save Act.
- 18:34Speaker 2: It's a bad name. They should have. Most people don't
- 18:36Speaker 2: know what the Save Act is. It's the Congressional Act
- 18:39Speaker 2: that would put in rules to ensure safe elections. None
- 18:44Speaker 2: of this mail in, none of this, no idea. The
- 18:47Speaker 2: Save Act. It's in Congress. I don't know why, but
- 18:50Speaker 2: some even some Republicans are not pushing it. Let's go
- 18:53Speaker 2: to Rich and Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing.
- 18:57Speaker 6: Beautiful day down here?
- 18:58Speaker 1: Is?
- 18:58Speaker 6: Wellm okay, there's Danford's out there in Port Chef. I
- 19:01Speaker 6: haven't been there so long that was always a big
- 19:02Speaker 6: main stay out in Port Cheff.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a big place out there, in the hotel
- 19:06Speaker 2: and all that, and the ferry still there.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Huh.
- 19:08Speaker 6: Okay, you know this is unbelievable. First off, President Trump
- 19:12Speaker 6: is awesome. You know, to crush the microphone on his
- 19:14Speaker 6: way out by accident was awesome because that's a couple
- 19:16Speaker 6: of grand right there. But you know, she's an ancy woman,
- 19:19Speaker 6: and you know, and you know, I don't know why
- 19:22Speaker 6: the press call like when I have the briefings this week.
- 19:25Speaker 6: They just shouldn't take any questions. Now, at one point,
- 19:29Speaker 6: forty thousand votes came in in envelopes and not a
- 19:33Speaker 6: single one went to Pratt. That's zero percent for anybody
- 19:36Speaker 6: other than is Ramen. You know, the DOJ must have
- 19:39Speaker 6: lawyers calling off the play.
- 19:41Speaker 2: There's lawyers, let me judge. There's DJ lawyers on the
- 19:44Speaker 2: ground right now looking into it. They may come up
- 19:47Speaker 2: with something. They're also looking into New Jersey. Apparently they
- 19:50Speaker 2: have found a number of non citizens registered to vote
- 19:54Speaker 2: in New Jersey. They hopefully they'll start really, really really
- 19:59Speaker 2: u in the House. The RNC should make a big
- 20:01Speaker 2: deal out of this. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike,
- 20:04Speaker 2: how you doing morning, Mark, that's Mike.
- 20:09Speaker 10: As you well know that one of the basic qualities
- 20:11Speaker 10: of any good reporter is the power of observation. Yet
- 20:14Speaker 10: none of these reporters can look at what's going on
- 20:16Speaker 10: with the elections right now, it's the ones in California
- 20:19Speaker 10: and draw the conclusion that there could be something wrong
- 20:23Speaker 10: going on. And but by the same reporters, by the way,
- 20:27Speaker 10: you can look at some old lady praying outside an
- 20:29Speaker 10: abortion clinic and assume that she's a right wing terrorist.
- 20:33Speaker 10: So it's a very interesting complex tact days taken, you know,
- 20:38Speaker 10: because every time Trump brings up the voter you know, uh, irregularities,
- 20:44Speaker 10: they say without evidence, that's their thing.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Every time they said every time, every time they say
- 20:50Speaker 2: that it's without evidence, they're without evidence as well, exactly.
- 20:54Speaker 10: Yeah, and they think there's they think there's something note somewhere,
- 20:57Speaker 10: you know, on Karen Bass's desk, I cheated, you know,
- 21:01Speaker 10: it's like you have to see what's going on. It's
- 21:03Speaker 10: plain as the nose on their faith.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Yeah, No, you're right, there's no evidence because they've done
- 21:06Speaker 2: no reporting. If they refuse to report on any of this,
- 21:10Speaker 2: let's go to Robert in Westchester. Robert, how you doing.
- 21:14Speaker 6: Good morning, Mark, Thanks for taking my call. So Mark,
- 21:17Speaker 6: you know, when it looked like there was going to
- 21:19Speaker 6: be two Republicans for the governor's position to win, they
- 21:25Speaker 6: asked Newsome about that, are we gonna let this happen?
- 21:28Speaker 6: What's gonna happen? I didn't even know that that could
- 21:30Speaker 6: be done in California. But then he said, oh no,
- 21:32Speaker 6: we're not gonna let that happen because we'll break the glass.
- 21:36Speaker 6: So it's okay if two Democrats get the high positions,
- 21:39Speaker 6: but not two Democrats. That itself shows the world as
- 21:43Speaker 6: well as the naive media, the elections are crooked. There
- 21:46Speaker 6: you're hearing about how non citizens are voting, homeless people
- 21:51Speaker 6: are voting, The ballots have written in postmarks. It's right there.
- 21:55Speaker 6: I pray to God not only did the Knicks win,
- 21:57Speaker 6: but more so that they find the corruption because this
- 22:00Speaker 6: has to end. President Trump is actually right. It's like
- 22:03Speaker 6: a third world country. In India, six hundred million pots
- 22:07Speaker 6: counted one day. They can't count sixteen million. It's ridiculous.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Now every other state's able to count their votes and
- 22:14Speaker 2: give you the winner, like an hour after the polls
- 22:16Speaker 2: close in the closest election ever, you might have to
- 22:20Speaker 2: wait till four in the morning. It's never taken thirty
- 22:23Speaker 2: days to count votes. It's absolutely ludicrous. Hey, Michael Goodwin
- 22:28Speaker 2: on vacation for a couple of weeks. But we'll have actually,
- 22:32Speaker 2: we'll have Miranda Divine, who's the other best columnist in America.
- 22:36Speaker 2: She'll be with us in the second hour. But we'll
- 22:37Speaker 2: talk to the great Howie Carr, who's a brilliant columnist
- 22:41Speaker 2: and radio host. We'll talk to Howie car next on
- 22:44Speaker 2: seven to ten wor.
- 22:46Speaker 7: Logged into Everything, New York, Mark Simone on sevent ten wor.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Well, Howie Carr, the great talk show host and author
- 22:58Speaker 2: and columnists. You can get show and everything on iHeart.
- 23:01Speaker 2: You can get his latest book, Mass Corruption. It's on Amazon,
- 23:05Speaker 2: or you can get everything at Howie carsshow dot com,
- 23:09Speaker 2: Howiecarshow dot com. Howie car How you doing.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Very good?
- 23:14Speaker 5: I'm looking forward to the to what Al Sharpton called
- 23:19Speaker 5: the UFO fights on the White House Lawn on Saturday night. Now,
- 23:24Speaker 5: you know, the networks have a hard time TV networks
- 23:28Speaker 5: with getting people to watch, especially on the weekends, but
- 23:31Speaker 5: I think this UFO fight is going to be on CPS.
- 23:34Speaker 5: I mean, this could be record breaking all time records
- 23:38Speaker 5: for ratings, don't you think.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Democrats don't like any like think whatever Middle
- 23:45Speaker 2: America likes, Democrats hate, whether it's NASCAR or Ultimate Fighting Wrestling,
- 23:51Speaker 2: they don't like that kind of stuff.
- 23:53Speaker 5: Yeah, we haven't had a good Al Sharpton cut to
- 23:55Speaker 5: add to the real for a while, but this is
- 23:57Speaker 5: one today.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I'll play it about eight million after.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Yeah, so, hey, you're watching these Scott Pelly interviews. Is
- 24:08Speaker 2: this the most pompous, self important jackass you've ever seen?
- 24:13Speaker 1: I you know, he.
- 24:14Speaker 5: Took so much crap when he first said last week
- 24:16Speaker 5: that he was a combat vet, you know, and then
- 24:20Speaker 5: after taking all the grief he said, he comes out
- 24:23Speaker 5: and says it again and then compares himself to to
- 24:26Speaker 5: President Trump. President Trump wasn't in the military, but he
- 24:29Speaker 5: got shot. He actually got shot in the head, and
- 24:34Speaker 5: this guy is saying he's braver, basically saying he's braver
- 24:37Speaker 5: than than President Trump.
- 24:40Speaker 1: I mean, give me you're right.
- 24:42Speaker 5: I mean, this guy is this guy is you know,
- 24:46Speaker 5: worse than Ted Ted Knight. At least made you laugh,
- 24:49Speaker 5: ron Berger, you know, made you laugh. I mean, this
- 24:52Speaker 5: guy is just a fool. And then he said he
- 24:54Speaker 5: didn't know he was going to get fired. He started
- 24:56Speaker 5: at local TV news. You know, when I worked in
- 24:59Speaker 5: local TV news, we had a higher body count than
- 25:01Speaker 5: any mafia crime family. He didn't think he could happen
- 25:06Speaker 5: to him. I mean, give me a break. This guy
- 25:10Speaker 5: is a fool. And then he's from Texas and he
- 25:11Speaker 5: takes a picture of himself out on his saleboat. I
- 25:13Speaker 5: think he's trying to pass for one of the beautiful
- 25:16Speaker 5: people of Mark.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I think he thinks he's a Kennedy now
- 25:19Speaker 2: with that sale vote.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Yeah yeah.
- 25:23Speaker 5: And does he not understand what what all the rest
- 25:27Speaker 5: of America understands, which is, if it wasn't for the NFL,
- 25:31Speaker 5: if Trump didn't put his foot down and the NFL
- 25:34Speaker 5: were to go to streaming, there would be no sixty minutes.
- 25:37Speaker 5: There probably wouldn't be any of these works would be
- 25:40Speaker 5: left anyway. And he'd and he seems to think that
- 25:43Speaker 5: that you know that the people are tuning in.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I'd like to see a poll, Mark.
- 25:46Speaker 5: I know it'd be impossible to do it, but how
- 25:49Speaker 5: many people to watch NFL games know who Scott Pelly
- 25:52Speaker 5: is probably like.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Ten fifty percent.
- 25:54Speaker 5: How many people who don't watch NFL games know who
- 25:56Speaker 5: Scott Pelly is.
- 25:57Speaker 1: I'm going to guess like one percent, two percent. So
- 26:00Speaker 1: I was watching sixty Minutes.
- 26:02Speaker 2: You know, they fired Tanya Simon. She's the daughter of
- 26:05Speaker 2: the former sixty Minutes correspondent Bob Simon. So he actually
- 26:08Speaker 2: says in an interview, how could they fire her? She's
- 26:12Speaker 2: untouchable with her family history. Who's untouchable?
- 26:18Speaker 1: Right?
- 26:19Speaker 6: Right?
- 26:19Speaker 1: Again?
- 26:20Speaker 5: What universe of any kind of industry, but especially the
- 26:25Speaker 5: broadcast TV news industry is he working in? Apparently one
- 26:30Speaker 5: of the guys they fired last month was this guy
- 26:32Speaker 5: who produced the Chevron, the discredited Chevron, the thing that
- 26:39Speaker 5: they did. He was the reported you know about this,
- 26:41Speaker 5: This lawyer sued Chevron for eighteen billion dollars for wrecking
- 26:46Speaker 5: some rainforest in Ecuador, and it turned out he was
- 26:49Speaker 5: blackmailing people and concocting evidence. He was convicted of federal crimes.
- 26:54Speaker 6: This barred.
- 26:55Speaker 1: The story is still up on the sixty minutes website.
- 26:58Speaker 2: What they're proud of it, but he is delusional. You know,
- 27:02Speaker 2: they fired Walter Cronkite. If they can fire him, you
- 27:05Speaker 2: can fire Scott belly.
- 27:08Speaker 5: And then and then he said he He also said
- 27:11Speaker 5: last week in another interview, he said, they they they
- 27:14Speaker 5: threw me off the CBS Evening News because I was
- 27:19Speaker 5: complaining of a hostile work environment again, Mark, you know,
- 27:23Speaker 5: I mean, I've worked in local TV news. You have
- 27:27Speaker 5: when your ratings are lower than whale excrement, there tends
- 27:30Speaker 5: to be a hostile work environment around the around the
- 27:33Speaker 5: news room.
- 27:34Speaker 1: You know.
- 27:36Speaker 5: You know he's again Ted Baxter was, you know, a
- 27:41Speaker 5: master of the universe. You know, he he understood everything
- 27:44Speaker 5: that was going on around him compared to this guy.
- 27:46Speaker 5: He really he really believes this stuff, doesn't he does.
- 27:50Speaker 5: He also understand that he's never going to work again,
- 27:52Speaker 5: that the best he could hope for is to maybe
- 27:54Speaker 5: co host the gem Acosta Joy Read podcast.
- 28:00Speaker 2: You don't think MS NOW or CNN will go after.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Him, you know.
- 28:05Speaker 5: You know what that was funny, you know, with Trump
- 28:08Speaker 5: stomping off the set of uh, Meet the Press, Meet
- 28:12Speaker 5: the Press yesterday and then he says, you're all crooked,
- 28:15Speaker 5: and then he says, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and then
- 28:19Speaker 5: and I'm sure I'm sure Larry O'Donnell and those guys
- 28:22Speaker 5: were saying what about us? Where is the other ones?
- 28:25Speaker 5: Why did he mention us? We have we have higher
- 28:29Speaker 5: ratings than CNN. They also ran Crooked Network.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Uh yeah, but that fight with Christian Walker, another delusional woman.
- 28:38Speaker 2: She's interrupting him, she's screaming without you have no evidence.
- 28:41Speaker 2: She has no evidence either. What do you think they
- 28:45Speaker 2: have any self awareness? These anchors?
- 28:49Speaker 1: Well?
- 28:49Speaker 5: I was kind of amused when she said I came
- 28:52Speaker 5: all the way out here to Wisconsin? And I mean,
- 28:55Speaker 5: did did she? I mean, I know, I guess you
- 28:56Speaker 5: have to say that, but did she not understand that
- 28:59Speaker 5: this was like the best thing that ever happened to her?
- 29:02Speaker 5: Him walking off the set? This kind of gave her
- 29:05Speaker 5: Jimmy Kimmel inoculation for being fired.
- 29:09Speaker 2: That's a good point. Hey, what's gonna happen with the Plattner?
- 29:13Speaker 2: I thought he'd be out of the race by now.
- 29:15Speaker 2: They're really going to stick with him?
- 29:18Speaker 1: I don't.
- 29:19Speaker 5: I mean, I think he's going to win the primary,
- 29:21Speaker 5: even though he's really dusted up, you know.
- 29:23Speaker 1: I I.
- 29:25Speaker 5: Because you know, Janet Mills has it stepped in and
- 29:28Speaker 5: maybe she maybe she meet the right move by not
- 29:30Speaker 5: stepping in, But but I think I think he's got
- 29:32Speaker 5: real problems with this kick app, you know, and I
- 29:36Speaker 5: mean the fact that John Fetterman is challenging him, and
- 29:39Speaker 5: now the the the editor of the Main Wire who
- 29:43Speaker 5: used to work for me, that's the alternative conservative website.
- 29:47Speaker 5: He's he's saying, well, you know, if you can prove
- 29:49Speaker 5: you didn't, you weren't sending these these X rated messages
- 29:53Speaker 5: to underage girls, I'll apologize to you for saying your
- 29:56Speaker 5: your lobster you excuse me, your oyster farm a is
- 30:00Speaker 5: a joke.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Uh.
- 30:03Speaker 2: He was an oyster farmer, but apparently only for one day,
- 30:07Speaker 2: and that was just for his mother's restaurant, right, he
- 30:09Speaker 2: didn't really do it for us.
- 30:10Speaker 5: Well, he also you know, I guess what I guess
- 30:12Speaker 5: what Steve said on on Fox last week was he
- 30:16Speaker 5: he set up he incorporated the quote unquote oyster farm
- 30:21Speaker 5: after he set up his campaign committee to run for
- 30:25Speaker 5: the Senate.
- 30:25Speaker 1: And that's true, that's true.
- 30:27Speaker 5: I mean, it's just I mean I talked to you know,
- 30:30Speaker 5: I have a huge audience in Maine, and I mean,
- 30:33Speaker 5: you know, people are irritated because you know, when someone
- 30:37Speaker 5: says they're working class, you you take them at their words.
- 30:40Speaker 1: At least for a few minutes.
- 30:41Speaker 5: Right, But this guy is the furthest thing for he's
- 30:45Speaker 5: as far from the working class as as Scott Pelley
- 30:48Speaker 5: is from a from a crusading journalist.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Yeah sou but when when if you were in the
- 30:56Speaker 2: Democratic leaders, wouldn't you pull this guy out and stick
- 30:59Speaker 2: in Janet Mills the governor?
- 31:02Speaker 1: I think I think Jared Golden would actually be better.
- 31:05Speaker 5: You know, the congressman up there who sometimes votes with Republicans.
- 31:08Speaker 5: I mean he he has tattoos market but not no
- 31:12Speaker 5: Nazi tattoos. So maybe that maybe that makes him a
- 31:16Speaker 5: non starter for the Democrat national big wigs. I don't know,
- 31:20Speaker 5: but he doesn't like Washington and he's leaving Congress. He's
- 31:23Speaker 5: he's quit. But you know he would be better. I
- 31:26Speaker 5: mean because Jennam Mills is really damaged goods. I think
- 31:30Speaker 5: that's that's that's why. You know, Plattner got all this traction.
- 31:35Speaker 5: But I don't understand it. You know, Platner and tallar
- 31:38Speaker 5: Rico and this this weird this Egyptian from Michigan, I mean,
- 31:44Speaker 5: and and the Hamaway or whatever his name is, from
- 31:47Speaker 5: a Jersey.
- 31:48Speaker 1: I mean, what are they thinking of?
- 31:51Speaker 10: Ye?
- 31:52Speaker 2: Hey, we don't have much time. Let but you're a
- 31:53Speaker 2: best selling author, you would do a number of best
- 31:55Speaker 2: selling books. How would you rate Jill Biden as an
- 32:00Speaker 2: author trying to sell a book, trying to launch a book,
- 32:03Speaker 2: they'll rollout not too smooth.
- 32:05Speaker 5: No, I think with all these people, it's it's just
- 32:09Speaker 5: the advance. They never you know, the advance just becomes
- 32:13Speaker 5: a payoff from some publisher for you know, services rendered
- 32:16Speaker 5: down the road. How about Joe Biden is saying that
- 32:19Speaker 5: he's got his book, he's coming out in September, and
- 32:21Speaker 5: everybody's saying, no, it's not, No, it's not I mean
- 32:24Speaker 5: that wouldn't that be great a great in kind contribution
- 32:27Speaker 5: to the Republicans for the mid terms?
- 32:29Speaker 1: That Joe Biden talking about what.
- 32:32Speaker 5: He remembered to be a mighty short book if it's
- 32:34Speaker 5: what he remembers from his from his years in at
- 32:39Speaker 5: sixteen hundred Pennsylvania Avenue.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Hey. Ever, to get to how he car's latest book,
- 32:43Speaker 2: Mass Corruption, what's the best place to get at Amazon?
- 32:47Speaker 5: Yeah, that's the easiest place because people are used to
- 32:50Speaker 5: going to Amazon. But you can also just how we
- 32:53Speaker 5: car Mass Corruption. It's right there. You can get prime
- 32:56Speaker 5: delivery you get in a couple of days, or you

- 33:07Speaker 5: that right from me directly.

- 33:12Speaker 2: everything at howiecarshow dot com. Howie car Thanks for being.
- 33:17Speaker 1: With us, Thanks Mark, Bye bye. Thanks.
- 33:21Speaker 2: But coming up a noon today, it's Buck and Clay
- 33:23Speaker 2: with a wonderful show noon to three. Then you got
- 33:26Speaker 2: the most listened to radio show in America, Sean Hannity
- 33:29Speaker 2: at three, you got Jesse Kelly at six. You got
- 33:32Speaker 2: a very funny, wonderful show every night at nine, Jimmy
- 33:37Speaker 2: Fayala every night nine o'clock. Here on seven ten wor
- 33:41Speaker 2: he's got.
- 33:42Speaker 7: The whole city in your radio, Mark Simo on sevent.
- 33:46Speaker 4: Ten wo R.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Well.
- 33:49Speaker 2: I remember now, the big game is tonight at Madison
- 33:52Speaker 2: Square Garden. It starts at eight thirty, but because the
- 33:56Speaker 2: President is going to be there, they've told everybody they
- 33:59Speaker 2: have to get there by six point thirty. So remember
- 34:03Speaker 2: you don't want to be driving anywhere near Madison Square
- 34:06Speaker 2: Garden tonight. The crowd has to come in at six thirty.
- 34:09Speaker 2: The President coming there will mean traffic will be an
- 34:14Speaker 2: absolute nightmare within many, many blocks of Madison Square Garden,
- 34:18Speaker 2: so stay away if you have to get to the
- 34:21Speaker 2: Lincoln Tunnel or anything like that. It's going to affect
- 34:23Speaker 2: that presidence in Bedminster, New Jersey. It's been there all weekend,
- 34:27Speaker 2: So come from Bedminster, probably come in by helicopter and
- 34:32Speaker 2: then the motorcade from the heliport to the garden. That'll
- 34:36Speaker 2: mean road closures all over the place. So it's going
- 34:40Speaker 2: to be rough. So if you're going to try to
- 34:42Speaker 2: get anywhere near Madison Square Garden within a five block radius,
- 34:46Speaker 2: it is going to be brutal. And actually they'll tie
- 34:49Speaker 2: up streets all the way over from the east side
- 34:51Speaker 2: over the west side for the President to get there.
- 34:54Speaker 2: So just be aware of that tonight. And we've got
- 34:56Speaker 2: a lot to get to in the in the next hour.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Will get to create Mom Donnie, We'll get to California,
- 35:03Speaker 2: we'll get to some crazy Scott Pelly, and a whole
- 35:07Speaker 2: lot more. Right after the news. I'm here every day
- 35:10Speaker 2: ten to noon or listen anytime you want. Just get
- 35:14Speaker 2: the podcast wherever you get your podcasts back after the
- 35:16Speaker 2: news wor
