As a blind Generation Z graduate student, I waited until I was 19 to join social media. That choice gave me the chance to build genuine friendships, grow my confidence, and truly discover myself without the pressure of likes, trends, or constant comparison. Seeing how many kids today struggle with anxiety and stress online inspired me to start this petition for Mental Health Awareness Month.
