- 1:25to get into today's story from a Life in your Hands. And there's actually
- 1:30no blank space between last week's story in this week's no Lost episode, so
- 1:37let's enjoy Coral Fortune. The National Broadcasting Company delays the startup this program to
- 1:44bring you a special bulletin from the NBC newsroom in New York North Korean communist
- 1:52troops have driven American forces back again in their first night attack of the war.
- 1:57The assault along the western sector of the Korean in front first our troops
- 2:00farther than they had planned to withdraw, completely revising our defensive plan. Keep
- 2:07tuned to your NBC station for the later news. You never know when you
- 2:21step from the safety of your home when you may witness a violent death and
- 2:24be called upon to testify as to what you saw and heard, and suddenly
- 2:30find yourself with a light in your hands. Murder is a dark enigma that
- 2:39strikes fear into the heart of man. Strange, backley, mysterious, but
- 2:45the darkest crime. One man can invent, another man can unravel. Such
- 2:50a man as Jonathan Kay created by Earl Stanley Gardner, the world's most popular
- 2:54writer of mysteries, creator of Perrymason, Doug Selvey and Men, any other
- 3:00outstanding characters, Ladies and gentlemen, Mister Jonathan King, any one of you
- 3:08may at any time be witnessed to a crime, and it will be very
- 3:14important that you recall accurately what you may see or hear. You can never
- 3:17tell when it may happen. Even now, somewhere in the city. There
- 3:23may be a crime in the making. Don't you think you're driving a little
- 3:36fast call? I'm doing the driving. What is it? Family again,
- 3:40I've got to write to no old call. After all, I'm your pot.
- 3:43Look, Jim, I agree to drive up here with you for the
- 3:46weekend just because you thought a little fishing might settle my nerves in spite of
- 3:51the fact that my wife and mother in law are here and don't want to
- 3:53see me. Let's see if the fishing helps meantime lay off. If you
- 3:59fall apart, our whole business is shot. Has it got something to do
- 4:02with your mother in law? Of course it's Ellen. Ever since Hazel and
- 4:06I have been married, she's been trying to break it up. Well,
- 4:09I don't want to see anything happen between you and Hazel. But after all,
- 4:14Ellen has quite an interest in our Ellen wants to withdraw the money she
- 4:17advanced to me. Oh, that would rule. She has a ten year
- 4:20contract with me, and it's still got four years to run. Nothing short
- 4:25of my death will let her get that money out. She could make a
- 4:28lot of trouble. She is making trouble. I'd tell you Ellen is making
- 4:30Hazel hate me. That isn't good. When her husband and wife aren't husband
- 4:35and wife, it isn't good. And that's the way it is, thanks
- 4:40to Ellen. But I'm not through with that old witch. In here we
- 4:51are I want to come in for a minute. No thanks, I'm going
- 4:55next door and are out the house. Then to the lodge for a stake.
- 5:00Join me later, probably go up by the lodge about ten. Okay,
- 5:03see you then. I'm Jim. Hazel, it's me. Oh,
- 5:18hello, Carl. You've got here sooner than I expected. I didn't waste
- 5:23any time scared. Jim have today? Oh, Jim, come up with
- 5:27you. Yeah, we're going fishing in the morning. I see, well,
- 5:30I'm glad to know why you came. I knew it wasn't to see
- 5:32me. I see you were feeling normal today. Please don't take that tone
- 5:38of voice with me. Oh, for gosh sakes, Hazel, why do
- 5:41we have, please, Carl going on in here? Oh it's you.
- 5:46You're early, So sorry, Hazel. I won't be spoken to this way.
- 5:49What can I do? Mother? Why did you have to sign that
- 5:53agreement letting his firm have all your money for ten years? As I recall,
- 5:57I wasn't going to do it until you urged me. I did it
- 6:00for you, Hazel. I've always done everything in the world for you.
- 6:02You know that? Why I no? Mother? Oh, I don't know
- 6:06what I was thinking of when I married you. That's a nice wifely remark.
- 6:11I mean it. Congratulations, Ellen, you've done it. You've been
- 6:14trying for six years to poison Hazel against me. Now you've done it.
- 6:16What do you mean I've tried to help? Oh? Sure, You've always
- 6:19tried to help. Why must not be affused this one? Carol? Apologize
- 6:25to mother this instant. I'm not going to apologize to anyone. I'm through.
- 6:28I've had more than any man should have to take. You mean you're
- 6:30leaving? Give you an excuse to sue me for divorce and get alimony.
- 6:33Not on your life. But if I have any more trouble with either one
- 6:36of you, I'm gonna sue Ellen for alienation of affection. I'll take every
- 6:41penny you've got both of you before you're rid of me. Smokers, it
- 6:51pays two ways to smoke Rawleigh cigarettes. It pays with top quality smoking enjoyment.
- 6:57It pays with luxury premium. There are over seventy five beautiful premiums,
- 7:02and you can get them just like gifts. Just smoke Rawleighs and save the
- 7:06profit sharing coupons. And remember a recent decision by the Federal Trade Commission,
- 7:12an agency of the United States government, should prove to you. You cannot
- 7:16believe in throat tests, you cannot believe in noose tests, but you can
- 7:21believe your own eyes. So take the Rawleigh eye test and see for yourself.
- 7:27The only real important difference between leading brands of cigarettes, A difference you
- 7:32can believe because it's a difference. You can see the Rawleigh profit sharing premium
- 7:39coupons. Come. I've been looking all over for you. It's almost midnight.
- 7:54What have you been up to? Mercy looked like looks like you've been
- 7:58drowning your troubles. Well, keep drinking and you won't want to go fishing
- 8:01in the morning. Sure, I will anything to get out of that house.
- 8:05Pretty bad. She's finally done it, Jim. She's turned Hazel against
- 8:09me completely. What about the firm? What'll this do if you and Hazel
- 8:15get a divorce? No divorce, I'm sticking around. They're not gonna hurt
- 8:18me for alimony. They'll be too sure of that. If this thing gets
- 8:22to court, Hazel might not only get alimony, but that agreement between you
- 8:26and your mother in law could be set aside. Or stop being an old
- 8:28worry warn it's not gonna happen. It could if you don't take it easy.
- 8:33Are you telling me I'll run my life? No? No, of
- 8:37course not. You're not in a very good mood for talking tonight, Carl.
- 8:41I'll see you tomorrow morning at five. Yeah, right, they'll bring
- 8:48me another double martini. George, I feel guilty enjoying the cool comfort of
- 9:05this porch. I think you and mister King should sleep out here on the
- 9:09porch and let me take the bedroom. Oh nonsense, it wouldn't hear it.
- 9:15Hope Jonathan gets here soon. Think you belong? Oh not very If
- 9:18you left the city at five, he shouldn't be here any minute. It's
- 9:20almost one o'clock. I suppose you two are going fishing at the crack of
- 9:24dawn, and I won't get a chance to meet Jonathan King. You'll have
- 9:28plenty of chance there. That's what I like about being married to a judge.
- 9:33You meet the most interesting people. Oh, here comes to car now,
- 9:37Maybe that's mister King. No, that's Carl Fortune coming home in the
- 9:45usual condition. I'm afraid. Oh, sounds like Carl missed the garage slightly
- 9:52sounded to me more like he didn't miss it. Let's listen to see if
- 9:58it makes it this time? Ah, what time he made it? Bully
- 10:05for him? If he can just close his garage door. I'm afraid the
- 10:09Fortunes have been having trouble lately. Well, Darling, between Carl's drinking and
- 10:13what's her name Hazel's mother? Yeah, Car's all tucked away. Yes that
- 10:18Ellen, believe me, she's no hell how mister k gets here soon?
- 10:24It's time to go to sleep. Oh, you go ahead and turn in,
- 10:26dear. I'll wait for him. He won't be long now. Good
- 10:30night, dearest, Good night Darling. Your car coming now, that's probably
- 10:35Jonathan. You go to sleep. We'll see you when we get back from
- 10:39fishing. What is it? Oh, sorry to waken you, Ellen.
- 11:13I came to pick up Carl to go fishing. Oh, he isn't up
- 11:16yet. What is it, mother? Oh, Jim came to pick up
- 11:18Carl. You better route him out. I don't know where he is,
- 11:22Jim. He didn't come home last night. Didn't come home, but I
- 11:26heard him, so did I. He almost tore the garage down. Well,
- 11:28I don't know. I took a sleeping pill. I didn't hear him,
- 11:33but I know he isn't in bed. The bed hasn't been slept in.
- 11:35Maybe slept in the car. Wouldn't put it past him. He might
- 11:39have a thought. He wasn't too happy when I saw him at the lodge
- 11:41last night. I'll take a look. Oh, you can't get in that
- 11:45way. The door is locked. You'll have to come through the house.
- 11:48It's this way through the kitchen. I suppose he was drinking at the lodge.
- 11:54He'd had a few. Was he talking about mother? Knee? I
- 11:58mean Hazel. Carl was upset last night. He should have been. No
- 12:03one will ever know what that man has done to Hazel and me. Mother.
- 12:07Please, here's the dart of the garage. Good lord, the car
- 12:13bowders running. Get back. This place is loaded with carbon. Manut side,
- 12:31George, mister kay hain't goodness? Are both back. The most terrible
- 12:35things happened. Carl Fortune's killed himself. That's impossible. I just don't see
- 12:41how anyone could do a thing like that. By accident. I think it's
- 12:45suicide, and I know a lot of people are glad he did it.
- 12:48Really, missus Holden, maybe it might be a good idea if we all
- 12:52went to the coroner's inquest. It just might be that one of those people
- 12:56who's glad this fellow died sort of helped him along. From the testimony we've
- 13:11heard, gentlemen of the jury, it seems pretty plain to me that Carl
- 13:15Fortune committed suicide. Mister Keig asked me earlier if he could enter the case
- 13:18as amikus curia. Do you still want to do that in the light of
- 13:22the testimony, mister Keig, If that is agreeable with you, mister coroner,
- 13:26perfectly, mister Keg. I'd like to tell my jury that an amikus
- 13:31CURII is a friend of the court. He helps the court find out exactly
- 13:35what happened, and he never asks for either the defendant or the prosecution.
- 13:39Would you like to ask some questions as an amikus curiimist Kig, Yes,
- 13:43mister Coroner. Is there any doubt as to the cause of death? None
- 13:48at all? His blood was loaded with carbon monoxide and alcohol. Was there
- 13:56any other mark on the body? No, he was found in an closed
- 14:00garage, sitting in his car with the motor running. There was no question
- 14:03as to the cause of death. I see, I'd like to call the
- 14:09wife of the deceased, Miss Hazel Fortune, Misfortune. Did your husband drink
- 14:20a great deal? He used to, then he stopped, But lately we'd
- 14:24had some trouble. What kind of trouble? Well, I really, mister
- 14:28Keg, this has been very upsetting. Must I go into our personal life?
- 14:33I am afraid you must, Misfortune. Well, when Carl and Jim
- 14:37started their brokerage business, my mother loned Carl the money. Then they had
- 14:41a fight Mother and Carl. She wanted her money back and Carl wouldn't give
- 14:46it to her, and you sided with your mother? Was her money?
- 14:50She was entitled to it. Did this a strange you from your husband?
- 14:52You could hardly love a swindler, that is how you considered him. What
- 14:56else could I think you are about this? Yesterday? Yes? Yes we
- 15:01did. Was Carl depressed by the estrangement between you two? I well,
- 15:07he seemed to be depressed enough to kill himself. I don't know where were
- 15:15you between twelve and two last night? And they have to sleep. You
- 15:20didn't hear your husband come home. No, I was nervous and upset.
- 15:24I took a sleeping pill about ten thirty and went right to sleep. When
- 15:26did you awaken? About five? When Jim came to the door to get
- 15:30cart to go fishing. You heard nothing between ten thirty and five in the
- 15:35morning, nothing at all. The door to your garage is it heavy?
- 15:41I don't know. I don't drive, I never moved it. How much
- 15:45insurance did your husband carry? I'm not sure. I think he said sixty
- 15:50thousand dollars you were the beneficiary? Yes? Was there a suicide clause in
- 15:54that policy? I don't know why you asking me all these questions. Haven't
- 15:58I been through enough? I will do, Missfortune, you may step down.
- 16:07I'd like to call mister James Trask. Mister Trask, what is the
- 16:15condition of your business financially? That is excellent. We sell stocks and bonds.
- 16:21The market is picked up lately. Then you would say that mister Fortune
- 16:23had no business worries. Well not exactly. That Missusfortune testified that her mother
- 16:30couldn't get her money out of the firm. Is that true? Yes,
- 16:34as a matter of fact. On the way up Carl said the only way
- 16:37Ellen could get out was if he were to die. That's very interesting,
- 16:45mister Trask. Did you see Fortune last night? Yes, I met him
- 16:51at the lodge about midnight. What was his condition? He was he'd been
- 16:56drinking again. I talked to him for a while and he started to get
- 16:59an asty. I left and went home. That was the last you Sawegan,
- 17:03yes, although I heard him when he came home later. You see,
- 17:07my house is right next to the Fortunes. What time was this?
- 17:11Close to one o'clock? I heard his car come up the road at a
- 17:15pretty fair rate of speed, passed the house and turn into the driveway.
- 17:18Then it crashed into the garage. Karl backed off and tried again. I
- 17:23heard another crash from inside the garage. Then I heard him pull down the
- 17:27garage door. Is that door heavy? Oh? I don't know. I've
- 17:32never raised it. These crash as you refer to. Did you examine the
- 17:37car this morning for damages? Yes, the right front fender was crumpled.
- 17:41There was a mark on the side of the entrance to the garage where he'd
- 17:44sideswiped it. And the second crash, the one inside the garage, the
- 17:48left front wheel was resting on a small wooden packing case. The case was
- 17:52smashed. I guess that was the other crash I heard. Neither one of
- 17:56these would seem to you to be a sepia accident, the sort that might
- 18:00stun a man. Well, I wouldn't think. So. What becomes of
- 18:04your partnership now that Carl is dead? What do you mean? Just what
- 18:08I say? What happens to your partnership now? Why it goes on?
- 18:15Hazel inherits Carl Cher. I'll go on running the business with Carl out of
- 18:19the way. Do you think Ellen Sissler will want to get out her money?
- 18:23Just? What are you driving in nothink at all? Mister Trask?
- 18:27You may step down. Missus Sissler, you are the dead man's mother in
- 18:37law. Yes, were you awake when Carl arrived home last night? I
- 18:41heard him drive up and bang into the garage. If that's what you mean,
- 18:45tell us exactly what you did here, please? Well. I heard
- 18:48the car coming fast, and then it swerved into the driveway, and then
- 18:52it banged into the side of the garage, but took the whole house.
- 18:56I listened for a second, and then the car seemed to back up,
- 18:59and then I've into the garage. Pretty soon the garage door closed. The
- 19:03garage is attached to the house, yes, along the west side, and
- 19:07your room the one from which you heard these sounds is that on the west
- 19:10side too, No, No, my rooms on the east side, next
- 19:12Jim Tresks house. Did you hear anything else at the time the car drove
- 19:17up? Now, and I'll think carefully. I know what I heard,
- 19:21just what I told you, No more, no less. You didn't care
- 19:25much for your son in law, did you, Missus Ciciler. I don't
- 19:27know what that has to do with it, but since you ask, no,
- 19:32he was ruining my poor Hazel's life. Do you happen to know whether
- 19:34the garage door was heavy? Do I look like the type of person who
- 19:40would know about garage doors? Thank you, Missus Sisler. That will be
- 19:44all, mister Corner. Something quite strange has come to light here. There's
- 19:49need for further testimony to clarify the situation. But before we have that,
- 19:55I would like the body of Carl Fortune examined for further injury. I believe
- 20:00he was murdered. Following the re examination of Car Fortune's body, Jonathan Keg
- 20:10is going to call another witness, a person who had no connection with the
- 20:14crime. What just happened to be nearby when it was committed. If you
- 20:18should be the next witness called, could you remember what you have heard?
- 20:22It would be vitally important that you do so, or you would hold a
- 20:27life in your hands. You cannot believe in throat tests. You cannot believe
- 20:44in nose tests. Decisions recently issued by the United States government Federal Trade Commission
- 20:49should convince every intelligent smoker that you cannot believe in throat tests. You cannot
- 20:56believe in those tests. These distinguished government exerts, appointed by law to protect
- 21:02the public against false and misleading advertising claims, have declared one, there is
- 21:07no reliable basis for claims that one brand is superior to another in respect to
- 21:12throat irritants. Too, All manufacturers of leading brands of cigarettes by their leaf
- 21:18tobacco from the same sources. With these two facts in mind, give yourself
- 21:23Raleigh's famous eye test. Hold up two packs of cigarettes, one of Rawleigh's,
- 21:30one of any other leading brand, Turn them around, take the eye
- 21:34test. You'll see the difference. Yes, you'll see that only Rawleigh's have
- 21:41a coupon on the back. And because Raleigh Cigarettes give you rich fine tobaccos
- 21:45a smooth, satisfying smoke, that Raleigh profit sharing coupon is the only real
- 21:52important difference between leading brands of cigarettes. It's a difference you can believe because
- 21:57it's a difference you can see. So switched to Raleigh Cigarettes, America's greatest
- 22:04cigarette value. When the inquest into the death of Karl Fortune was reconvened,
- 22:18it was the coroner who spoke first. A further examination of the body of
- 22:25Karl Fortune shows that prior to his death, he was struck a blow just
- 22:29below and behind the left ear. The bruise was covered by his hair was
- 22:33not detected when he was first examined. Jonathan Keig is called as his next
- 22:41witness Mary Holden, wife of his good friend, Judge George Holden, with
- 22:45whom mister Keg is spending the weekend. Jonathan Keg is beginning his cross examination.
- 22:52Missus Holden, for the benefit of the coroner's jury, Please describe exactly
- 22:56how your house is located with respect to the Fortune Hole. There are three
- 23:00houses at that end of the road. They all face the lake. The
- 23:04Fortune House is the middle one of the three. Yes, Jim Trask lives
- 23:08on the east side, and our houses on the other side. On which
- 23:11side of the Fortune House is the garage? Oh, on the west side,
- 23:15our side. Where were you last night about one o'clock? I was
- 23:18in bed asleep. No, I was still awake at about one o'clock.
- 23:23Did a car drive into the Fortune garage? Yes? I heard Carl come
- 23:26home. He was driving very badly. In what part of the house was
- 23:30your bed? I was on sleeping porch. Is it an enclosed sleeping porch,
- 23:36just as screens? How far would you say it was from your sleeping
- 23:40porch to the Fortune's garage. Well, that's hard to say. Well is
- 23:45it a quarter of a mile? Oh goodness, no, it's it's no
- 23:48further away than the end of this room, perhaps twenty feet. Now,
- 23:55missus Holden, you said that Carl Fortune was driving very badly. Well,
- 24:00I heard his car come up the road very fast, and the kind of
- 24:03skid as he turned into the driveway, and then there was a crash.
- 24:07George said Fortune missed the garage, and I said it sounded more like he
- 24:11hit it. Did he get the car into the garage? Oh? Yes,
- 24:17yes, he got out of his car to see what damage had been
- 24:18done, or at least I assume that was why. Missus Holden, just
- 24:22tell us exactly what you heard. Well, I heard the car door open
- 24:26and close again, and then the car backed up and then went forward into
- 24:32the garage. Did you hear the garage door close? Yes, I remember
- 24:36that distinctly. It was a few seconds later. No, Now think carefully
- 24:41between the time the car went into the garage and the time the door closed.
- 24:45Did you hear anything else? No? No, I'm positive I didn't.
- 24:49You didn't hear Carl Fortune get out of his car to close that garage
- 24:52door? No, no, I didn't hear that. Did you get out
- 24:56of bed to see what damage might have been done when you heard Carl Fortune's
- 24:59car hit the garage? Oh no, sir. You see I can't see
- 25:02the garage from our sleeping porch because of the high hedge that runs between the
- 25:04houses. Thank you very much, Missus Holden. Your accurate memory of what
- 25:08you heard is aided materially and solving a murder. Mister Corner, I would
- 25:15like to recall mister James Trask. Mister Trask, were you in bed when
- 25:23you heard Carl Fortune's car turn into his garage. Yes, as a matter
- 25:27of fact, I had been reading and staying awake just on the chance that
- 25:30I might hear him get home. I guess I was a little worried.
- 25:36You testified earlier that you heard the car hit the garage. Then there was
- 25:40another crash, caused this time by the car's running over a small wooden packing
- 25:44case inside the garage. Is that correct? That's right, that wooden case
- 25:49was found under the car's wheel. Yes, I saw it there myself,
- 25:53which is closer to Fortune's garage, your house or the holdens to the garage
- 26:00Holden's. Of course, how do you account for the fact that Missus Holden,
- 26:04who was much closer to the garage than you, and on an outside
- 26:07porch at that, didn't hear the packing case smash. She didn't even hear
- 26:12the car door open once the car was in the garage. I don't know
- 26:17I heard the crash, And after all, we know the case was smashed,
- 26:21Yes we do, But we also know that missus Sisler, who was
- 26:25in Fortune's house, didn't hear it. And we also know that Missus Holden,
- 26:29right beside the garage didn't hear it, But it happened, and you
- 26:33heard it. Now look here. Therefore you must have been closer to that
- 26:37car than either one or the other two. That's ridiculous. I was at
- 26:40home in bed. You couldn't possibly have been home in bed and heard.
- 26:41But you say you heard. Maybe maybe I just imagined I heard the box
- 26:45smash. Oh no, you didn't, because the box was actually smashed.
- 26:48You were where you could hear that box smash, all right, You were
- 26:52in the garage. Oh that's not true. Oh yes it is. You
- 26:56thought Ellen's hatred of Car would make her try to ruin your business. With
- 26:59him dead, she and Hazel will get a full partner's share and be satisfied.
- 27:03You're just guessing. You can't prove it. I've just proved that you
- 27:06lied, and I can prove a great deal more. What can you prove?
- 27:08Honey? You know this holding woman isn't lying. Maybe she's deaf for
- 27:11all you know. You can find that out easily enough. Missus Holden,
- 27:15Yes, what is your first name? Please? Mary? Of course?
- 27:22Is Missus Holden deaf? Trask? Is she? Why? I You've got
- 27:26no proof? Oh? Yes, there's proof, all right. You waited
- 27:30till fortune came home when his car hit the garage. You went up to
- 27:33the car, opened the door, slugged him, and then put the car
- 27:34in the garage. You hauld Fortune over in front of the wheel, left
- 27:37the motor running, closed the garage door, and went home to bed.
- 27:41You don't say so. There's just one thing you forgot, Trask. You
- 27:45testified earlier that you never touched that garage door, but when you closed it
- 27:48last night, you undoubted they left your fingerprints on the hand. Lie did
- 27:52not. It'll take only a moment to find out. You'll find nothing.
- 27:55I wore love Well. You certainly trapped him neatly, gentlemen, But what
- 28:14made you suspect murder in the first place? I would have accepted the verdict
- 28:18to suicide without any question. Oh, I wasn't sure it wasn't suicide,
- 28:21George, But it seemed to me that there were three people who might have
- 28:25wanted Carl Fortune to die. It was very convenient for them that he died
- 28:27when he did. Well, when did you know Trask was Gilly? Well?
- 28:32I thought so. When Trask said he'd hurt the packing case smashed,
- 28:36missus Sissler had already said she hadn't heard that sound. Then when Mary confirmed
- 28:40it, well I knew. I know. It's a funny thing, but
- 28:44there is almost always a pattern of sound in these cases, which, when
- 28:48properly interpreted, will lead to the truth. Thank you, mister Kay.
- 29:03Good night, mister Wallace, good night, and friends. Here's a cordial
- 29:08invitation for each of you to be with us next Tuesday, when you will
- 29:11again hear Jonathan Kay. Created by Earl Stanley Gardner, author of the internationally

- 29:23So look for the pack with the coupon on the back. Raleigh's Cigarettes
- 29:27America's greatest cigarette value. Give me a man who smokes a pipe. Pipe
- 29:45smokers look so masculine, so satisfied. Satisfied, Yes, especially when they
- 29:52smoke, Sir Walter Raleigh. Richer tasting, smoother smoking, Sir Walter Raleigh.
- 29:59And I'll like the aroma of a pipe. A roma, Sir Walter
- 30:03Rawleigh is the brand of grand aroma. Yes, give me a man who
- 30:08smoked the pipe. So men, give the ladies a treat, give yourselves
- 30:12a treat. Light up your pipe with Sir Walter Raleigh. A life in

- 30:45us again next week when Raleigh cigarettes the pack with the coupon on the back,
- 30:49will again place A Life in Your Hands Wednesday brings you Dangerous Assignment and
- 31:10Brian Dunlevy on Envy welcome back. Well, remember yesterday I commented on the
- 31:26problem with trapping people in their words for the average detective. Well, it's
- 31:33a little bit different with Jonathan Keg because he has the advantage of having them
- 31:42under oath, so everything's on the record and the sound I think made for
- 31:48a very good detection to another great episode of A Life in Your Hands.
- 31:56And so far this is one of my favorite nobody's ever heard of and nobody
- 32:00He's ever talked about series that we've been able to play. So I hope
- 32:05you're enjoying it as well. And probably not a whole lot of people heard
- 32:08it relatively because as it was a summer replacement series, and thing with summer
- 32:15series where that people were away from homes, they were out and about in
- 32:21places where they might not necessarily be able to hear the radio. But definitely
- 32:25a fun concept and pretty well executed. While we turn to listener comments and
- 32:30feedback, and we just have this from Nancy, who has our android app.
- 32:36Thank you for this app. What pleasure to be taken back in time
- 32:38to my childhood. I am seventy five years young and now, thanks to
- 32:43you, a happy child while listening to memories blessings. Well, thanks so
- 32:46much, Nancy. It's truly appreciated, and I'm glad you're enjoying the show.
- 32:52We'll be back tomorrow with Let George Do It. And join us next
