- 1:21you all right, ninety day fiance whatever you're some of your overall thoughts or
- 1:27it was a little boring. It was so boring. These episodes are so
- 1:30fucking long. Yeah, and I feel like we never leave the scenes.
- 1:34Like it's like we start in a scene four episodes ago and we're still there.
- 1:38Yeah. I thought there were a couple of good little tidbits, for
- 1:44example, Rob the knob and the mom. I thought that was an interesting
- 1:47thing that happened. Oh my god. But yeah, it does meander,
- 1:51and it takes a little while to get to the point. Yes, but
- 1:53I mean I'm still gonna watch it. I don't care. Yes, these
- 1:57people are unhinged, just like us. Well, let's start with Rob and
- 2:00Sophie, because we opened with them this episode. They're driving home from the
- 2:06sex shop. If you can remember, they got in a huge blow up
- 2:08fight at the sex shop because some girl came on to them per TLC's request,
- 2:14production plant girl. Yeah, and Rob is still yelling at Sophie about
- 2:19it because he was upset that she would even be open to the idea I
- 2:23guess of sleeping with another girl or something. Wait, Rob is yelling at
- 2:27Sophie. Yeh, he was yelling at Rob. I mean Rob was yelling
- 2:30at Sophie. And he's like, well, I feel like I'm not good
- 2:31enough for you if you want to experiment with women in the future, right,
- 2:37Yeah, I just you know, he comes too hard in arguments for
- 2:40me. He's like, really really harsh with her. Yeah, and she's
- 2:44a young girl. I think she's twenty three or h twenty two. And
- 2:47I'm just like, you don't have to talk to her that way. She's
- 2:50sitting right there, she can hear you, right, Chill the fuck out,
- 2:53dude, Like his ego is too much. He takes everything way too
- 2:55personally. He's very insecure, and he should be because he doesn't have a
- 2:59job's a loser. And her mother is her mother's name Claire, Claire.
- 3:04She's coming on into America to tell him about it. Girl and I live.
- 3:09Oh, I love my god. Well, Claire flies in from London,
- 3:14England, and she has to stay in a hotel because Rob doesn't have
- 3:19enough room in his hostel that he lives in. And so Rob and Sophie
- 3:24after they cooked kind of a weird meal in his apartment. They go over,
- 3:29Oh wait, you can't just gloss over there. Yes, they're kitchenette.
- 3:35Yeah, and she like, I guess the oven is warming up,
- 3:38but it's also heating up her telephone, it's heating up her drink, and
- 3:42they're trying. She's trying to I don't know, cut vegetables or prepare a
- 3:45meal. And a tastle tray pull out like a TV tray and they have
- 3:47to sit opposite. I mean, I'm just like I remember when I was
- 3:51first married the first time at eighteen, we didn't have a lot. Yeah,
- 3:55but I mean he's thirty two years old. I mean, and you're
- 4:00pulling out a TV tray so she can sit down and make you a meal,
- 4:02and you're not. I don't want to be classiest. Well, and
- 4:05I get everybody's we're all at different stages of our lives, but I feel
- 4:11like he should be farther along than this. He could do better. He's
- 4:14thirty two. He doesn't have a job, Like That's the thing. It's
- 4:16like it would be one thing if you were like grinding and you were just
- 4:20making this work for now until your lease was up and then you, you
- 4:24know, saved up for a better place. Like I get that, but
- 4:27he's not even working. No, he's not working. Well how can I
- 4:30work? I mean I have to spend time with your daughter to travel and
- 4:32we were spending time in Plaia and was hard. I can't just get a
- 4:35job. What are you talking about? You don't understand. You don't understand
- 4:40what it's like to be at the bottom, is what he tells. Yeah,
- 4:42your privilege, mo, Yeah, too much privilege. I'm like,
- 4:45look, man, I mean I get it. We've all been at the
- 4:47bottom. We've all had our struggles. I totally understand. But like I
- 4:51think about when you and your daughter or me and your daughter got married and
- 4:57we were like moved into our first place together. We were in a dingy
- 5:00studio apartment. It was less than five hundred square feet. I mean,
- 5:04it was cheap and we were in Texas at the time, but it was
- 5:08like the floors were caving in a little bit. We had weird neighbors.
- 5:13It wasn't in the best neighborhood. But like, we were both working.
- 5:15We were in our early twenties, and then we worked our way up to
- 5:19a better place, right, So just kind of the trajectory that's kind of
- 5:24how you do it. So it's just I do think he's kind of behind
- 5:28the eight ball and his age, and I think he's really insecure about it.
- 5:31Yeah, and that's why he's really really defensive, which is how we
- 5:34get to the scene with the mom. But I'll let you take overall.
- 5:38Well, after they go and pick up the mom essentially at the hotel,
- 5:41well it's at the hotel the mom, Claire is like immediately like when are
- 5:46you getting married? And Rob's like, chilbro like, we'll get married when
- 5:50we can or whatever. And then at some point the mom makes kind of
- 5:54like an off the cuff joke about Rob's mom and he takes it personally,
- 5:59right. She's like, well, when you throw the bouquet, I mean
- 6:00throw that to me because I've never been married and I want to catch it.
- 6:05And Rob says, well, there's not gonna be a whole lot of
- 6:08people there, so it's gonna be like you and my mom. And she's
- 6:11like, well, I'm gonna tackle your mom and I'm gonna get that bouquet.
- 6:13And he says something like, well, I mean she's a little person
- 6:17a very little, petite lady and she's not aggressive. Yeah, and so
- 6:23Claire takes the mother takes offense to that. Let's talk about this particular situation,
- 6:27because I'm wondering how you saw that. Do you think Rob fucked that
- 6:30up? Or do you think Claire is being a bit too much? Well,
- 6:32I think they're both being too much. I think that's probably why they
- 6:34get on each other's nerves. But I mean, Rob was calling Claire aggressive,
- 6:39and I'm like, she was just making a sarcastic jill. But I
- 6:42think he was joking. I mean, he was just kind of to me,
- 6:45it was like he was just rolling with her vibe. She's joking about
- 6:48tackling physically tackling his mother, and he's kind of just going along with that
- 6:54and just says, she's not aggressive, My mom's not aggressive. I don't
- 6:58know. I just felt like, it's okay for you to joke. But
- 7:00then as soon as he jokes back, now it's not a joke because it's
- 7:03pointed in your direction. Yeah, I guess it could go either way because
- 7:08Rob tends to take things personally and we've seen it on the show. So
- 7:12it's kind of hard for me because it looked like to me Rob was taking
- 7:15it personally, but that's also the way Claire was framing it. So it's
- 7:19just kind of like an editor bullshit. It's probably scripted, honestly, I
- 7:23don't know. But then he says like, well, how come it's okay
- 7:26for you to joke but not me, And so at that point you have
- 7:29to make a decision to take him at his word. And if he's like,
- 7:31no, I'm just joking right right, then, I mean like we
- 7:34can choose to believe that and not take offense to it. But it looks
- 7:38like her mother's coming into this situation just looking to be offended on behalf of
- 7:43her self and her daughter. Well, and she also doesn't like him,
- 7:46like she's coming into this situation already hating him. Rob the nob yep,
- 7:49And he knows it too. He's kind of on the defense because he's like,
- 7:53this bitch don't like me, Yeah, because I'm an unlikable loser,
- 7:56and yeah, I don't have a job. I'm not taking care of her
- 7:59daughter. I mean to her daughter. I yell at her daughter. She
- 8:01knows because every time they get into a fight, Sophie calls her mom exactly.
- 8:05Yeah, so maybe that's why she reacted that way. But then after
- 8:09this little weird exchange at the hotel, the next day is when Claire comes
- 8:13over to visit his place. And this is the long and I think,
- 8:18I'm in front of your apartment. I don't know where I am an ext
- 8:22care somebody on Reddit went in sleuted where he actually lives, and he was
- 8:26renting out like an old restaurant. That's where he was. Yeah, that's
- 8:30where he was renting. That's why he's got a steel sink, and that's
- 8:35why the bathrooms separate from that room he's in. Okay, it's like an
- 8:37old restaurant. Interesting, all right. I was wondering if it was like
- 8:41a converted garage ye or something like that. Yeah, people were saying it's
- 8:45an old restaurant, and that probably possibly the reason why he's renting it is
- 8:48because his credit's bad. You think, yeah, you think I can guarantee
- 8:54you his credit is bad, We can infer he has no like liquidity to
- 8:58put a down payment or first last month plus a security deposit on a nice
- 9:03place. He don't get it, honey, No, he don't. But
- 9:05Clara immediately, like once she finds the place, she gets into the courtyard
- 9:09and she's like, well, this is like a pretty courtyard. Keep walking,
- 9:11this is nice. And then going Sophie's like, yeah, that's the
- 9:15bathroom over there behind the bushes, and the mom's like, oh, the
- 9:18bathroom's not attached. She knows that already though surely Sophie has told her that.
- 9:24That's a little bit of a dig at Rob of course. Yeah,
- 9:26and then she gets into the actual humble abode and she's like, wow,
- 9:31this is not great. She's like, do better. She immediately like reams
- 9:39him and is like, be a real man. A real man would have
- 9:43made sure that he had a nice place set up for my precious daughter who
- 9:48flews in London to California to be with you. A real man would have
- 9:50made sure she had everything she needs and had a job to take care of
- 9:54her. What the fuck is this? I mean, she's not wrong though,
- 9:56Like if Sophie can't work and she he's completely dependent on Rob, Like,
- 10:01come on, dude, you should have done better, and he's like,
- 10:03well, what did you want me to do? I could have waited
- 10:07to see your daughter and saved up, but like I wanted to spend time
- 10:11with her, so you can do both. You can like plan out your
- 10:16schedule yeah, as to when you're going to spend time with Sophie, and
- 10:20you can actually work a job. Yeah. I just he was incredibly embarrassed,
- 10:24which is why he flew off the handle and he started arguing with her
- 10:30mother's. See. I wouldn't have done that if I were him. I
- 10:33mean I could be offended, I could pick up and walk out and go
- 10:37somewhere else, but I don't think I would have started screaming at my girlfriend's
- 10:41mom like that. No, not a good look at all. This is
- 10:43where he's like, you don't know what it's like to be at the bottom,
- 10:46and you're just coming here and judging me and you don't like me,
- 10:50and fuck you, and then goes and sits out in the court courtyard.
- 10:52I'm like, dude, you're thirty two, Like grow up a little bit.
- 10:56Like I get it if you're ashamed or if you're embarrassed. But all
- 10:58you have to say he's like, look, i'm struggling. It's been hard.
- 11:01You could blame it on COVID and just be like I'm trying my best.
- 11:05Your daughter's safe with me, though, Like it's gonna be fine,
- 11:09right, that's all you have to say. Just acknowledge that this isn't where
- 11:11you want to be and that you actually have plans to make a better situation,
- 11:15and just speak to her about it. I mean, but the mom
- 11:18did come in pretty hot a little bit and pretty judgmental. Yeah, but
- 11:22like she's already coming in hating Rob Yeah, like the rest of us do.
- 11:24Of course, he's hate the bole. I would be judging too.
- 11:28I'm just I'm not gonna lie. Yeah. Next we get to Gino and
- 11:31Jasmine, who are still in Miami, and they're going to do salsa dancing
- 11:37classes, right, and Gino says he's got the dance skills of John Travolta,
- 11:43okay, which I thought was really funny. But then he's like,
- 11:46just kidding, I have two left feet, and it's pretty cringe. And
- 11:48then the next day they go to take some selfies at some peer or whatever,
- 11:54and this is where Jasmin starts talking about her kid wants a and how
- 11:56she misses him, and then Gino's like, yeah, I would love to
- 12:00be a stepdad to him, but I'd also love a baby of my own.
- 12:03And then this brings up a conversation we haven't heard them talk about before,
- 12:07which is, let's have kids, and Jasmine doesn't want to have kids
- 12:11because she's nervous that she will produce a neurodivergent kid. Right because her second
- 12:20she's got two sons, jac is apparently nonverbal and has a mental disorder.
- 12:26She didn't say what it was, but one can assume it's probably like autism
- 12:31or something. And she is deeply ashamed about it. And she says,
- 12:35I wouldn't say ashamed she is. She said, I ruined him. Oh,
- 12:39okay, Well she's not ashamed of him, no, but she said
- 12:43she's like she's ashamed because she doesn't want to produce like a neuro divergent kid.
- 12:48For she like she thinks maybe something genetic that she's passing down is causing
- 12:52her children to be neurodivigent. Is own s also no, no, So
- 12:58yeah, I felt that this was This was really sad. It was also
- 13:01a dimension of Jasmine that we really don't get to see a whole lot because
- 13:07she's always on fucking one hundred instead of on ten. Yeah, she's always
- 13:11hysterical about something, you know. And I had my whole judgment moment when
- 13:16she's talking about how she would do anything for her child and that she wants
- 13:20to give them everything, And I'm like, well, what about your presence
- 13:22though, Yeah, like why aren't you actually around your children, Like why
- 13:28I know you're presumably coming to America maybe to make a better life for yourself,
- 13:31but like, even when you were in Panama, you were living in
- 13:35an apartment building. I don't think you were living with your kids. And
- 13:37I'm like, I don't know about that. I'm a little bit judgy around
- 13:41that, but I did definitely feel for her when she was opening up about
- 13:46her youngest son, and I thought Gino, by the way, handled that
- 13:50exceptionally well. I agree, for a dork. I was actually surprised that
- 13:54he handled it as well as he did because Gina's such a dummy. But
- 13:56he was like very sweet and he's like, don't worry about it. We
- 13:58would love the child no matter what, Like, it doesn't matter to me.
- 14:01It's not your fault, it's not your fault self. Yeah. I
- 14:05was a little judge when she said the words I ruined him, like she
- 14:09ruined her child, because I'm like, that's mean, But like I also
- 14:11understand it. It's not broken. Yeah, he's not broken. Like,
- 14:15but I also understand it from the parent's perspective. It's not like, you
- 14:18know, she doesn't. It's not that she doesn't love her child, because
- 14:22she does, but it's like it's a harder life for him because he's got
- 14:26this mental disorder. So I get it, and I was I was actually
- 14:31like surprised to see this kind of vulnerability from Jasmine because she seems like she's
- 14:35a crazy, unhinged personality, but she's actually got a heart in there somewhere.
- 14:39Yeah, she does. Yeah, And like I said, I thought
- 14:43Gino behaved in a very emotionally intelligent way and said the right things, and
- 14:48I think in doing so really softens Jasmine up to him. Yeah, which,
- 14:54of course is going to be just stripped away next time when she has
- 14:56to tell him about that. But job, But what for right now?
- 15:00It seems pretty nice, I know, crazy up and down all the time
- 15:07with them. Then we get to Sam and Citraugh, honey, listen that
- 15:15mother of Sam, that addict. Oh yeah, that clear drunk, intoxicated
- 15:22addict person living in a house with no furniture with her mother who's not all
- 15:26there standing in judgment of beautiful Citra for being Muslim and from another place and
- 15:35talking about Jesus Christ, and you know, I wish she would just serve
- 15:37the God that I serve. Meanwhile, are you eight balling? Are you
- 15:41doing drugs in the back? What do you I spotted her immediately, and
- 15:46I think I spotted her when I saw her the very first time at the
- 15:50family picnic. I'm like that lady's an alcoholic, Oh yeah, and or
- 15:54drug abuser. Yeah, so that's where Sam gets it. Yeah, yes,
- 16:00like mother like son? Right was that the phrase? Yeah? I
- 16:04don't like her at all. So essentially their segment starts with Sam and Citra.
- 16:10It's like the next day after Sam told Citra, oh, by the
- 16:12way, I was a dumb ass and I didn't fill fill out my diversion
- 16:17paperwork in time, so I might have to go to jail while you're here.
- 16:21Sorry about that. Citra's still dealing with it, and her payback is
- 16:23to cook him very spicy Indonesian food, which I'm like, I want it.
- 16:29I would love that. That sounds delicious very much. So. She
- 16:32also got herself a rice pot, which everybody needs. Yes, I'm from
- 16:36Hawaii, we have rice with Abba solui. Everything. She must be so
- 16:41happy she can make her rice, I know, just potatoes and white people
- 16:44do. She gets to have her rice. And so after she pays him
- 16:48back, she's like, well, I forgive you kind of He's like,
- 16:51well, are you gonna make sure not to leave me if I go to
- 16:53jail because he's such an idiot, right, like, dude, come on,
- 16:56so manipulative, like you didn't fill out your paperwork in time, and
- 17:00then you're gonna be like, but don't leave me though, right when she
- 17:03should she should. Then they go over to Sam's mom's house, and this
- 17:07is where Sam said that he actually has been estranged from his mother for ten
- 17:12years. And that was my first giveaway that she was a drug addict.
- 17:15Yeah, for sure, not that, not just that, Sam, it's
- 17:18the mom for sure. And I guess now she's gotten a house. So
- 17:22that's why there's no furniture there. Her mother probably somehow got the house and
- 17:26so she's leeching off her mother. Yeah, totally. And they moved from
- 17:30North Carolina to Missouri. So they go over there. Sitra brings over some
- 17:36like meat dish or whatever. It is, like a you know, nice
- 17:38house warming thing whatever, and the mom's initially nice she's like, Oh,
- 17:42you're so beautiful, it's so great, but then immediately gets into so you're
- 17:48gonna have a Muslim wedding? Are you gonna convert? And she's not okay
- 17:52with this, but she reacts okay in front of them. She doesn't say
- 17:56anything obscene in front of them. No, she's not a straight up it
- 18:00out loud in front of them, but she alludes to not necessarily praying for
- 18:04them for the reason that they want. When the producers are talking to her,
- 18:10it's just this whole And actually Sam said it pretty clearly like they're the
- 18:15type of people who claim Jesus and claim Christianity, but then they don't act
- 18:18like it at all in their own personal lives. Yep. And I just
- 18:23I you know, I spend a lot of time in Christianity. I was
- 18:27a missionary and everything people know my story like many many years in organized religion.
- 18:33I still consider myself to be Christian, but I mean a very ecumenical,
- 18:37open minded Christian. But like I one thing I do not miss are
- 18:41Christians in the church yep. Judgmental, hypocritical Christians of the church. And
- 18:48even though she's kind of an outlier because she's clearly also an addict. Yeah,
- 18:52it's just the same old shit. People who claim Jesus and love are
- 18:57the ones that are the least loving to other people who aren't like them.
- 19:00Right, And I'm sorry, but the God that she worship, I'm going
- 19:03off. The god that she worships is to me, it is the same
- 19:07God that you worship, just of a different name, and it's a different
- 19:11system that gets there. But like, okaat go off, queen. Yeah,
- 19:14like whatever, I mean, I guess I can understand the sentiment she
- 19:17says where she's like, I don't feel like you should have to convert to
- 19:19be with somebody, Yes, And I mean I agree with that because I
- 19:22think Sam's kind of stupid. He's just converting just to get it. He
- 19:26doesn't know what he's doing. No, he doesn't care either. It's not
- 19:29important to him. He just wants to get laid, that's it. And
- 19:32so that's wrong and he shouldn't be just converting to a religion or committing to
- 19:36a religion just because he's sprung. But at the same time, like who
- 19:41fucking cares. And then she was talking about the Muslim wedding and she's like,
- 19:45I don't know if I can go to something that I don't necessarily support.
- 19:48I'm like, but your son's getting married, though, so you can
- 19:52support that, right, It doesn't really matter how the wedding happens. He's
- 19:56getting married. Yeah, she's judging as fuck. And she's a drug addict,
- 20:00I know, And she doesn't think that it's obvious that she has her
- 20:04own problems. And it's just really rich that you stand in judgment of other
- 20:08people when you clearly have so many things going wrong in your own life because
- 20:12of your own choices and by your own design. Yep. Yeah, but
- 20:17her mom was cute though, who's mom? Oh she was cut? Yeah
- 20:19she was. I mean, like she didn't really seem like she was all
- 20:22there. She be taking advantage of her Social Security benefits by Sam's mom probably,
- 20:27Why isn't she Why is she sleeping on a cot in the living room
- 20:32next to her daughter who's free basic drugs no doubt? I don't know.
- 20:34Did you see the patches of holes in the wall too? And I'm like,
- 20:38what's going on here? Something weird's going on. I'm worried about that
- 20:41lady, that grandma, I know, I'm worried about this whole family and
- 20:45I'm worried about Citra, and now she's stuck with all these things. I'm
- 20:48barely worried about Citra. She's way too good for all of these people,
- 20:52because what if Sam goes to jail, then what is she gonna do.
- 20:55She's gonna have the choice of hanging out with Sam's drug addict mom or Sam's
- 21:00creepy father, alien father. It's like, she's so pretty and she cooks,
- 21:06Can you cook for me? Ew? I would be super worried for
- 21:08her. I know, let's pray for citrus geseikes. Yeah. Yeah.
- 21:18Then we get to Nicki and Justin Igor, who have been gone for so
- 21:21long I almost forgot the existest so much. Look, Justin is Justin.
- 21:27I called him Justin. I know Igor is showing his true colors. He's
- 21:33been showing up, but I mean he's but it's been a slow kind of
- 21:37crawl to really revealing how he feels. I mean, he says things here
- 21:41and there, but like when she's we'll get there, but when she's talking
- 21:44about threesomes and he's just laughing at her, I'm just like, he doesn't
- 21:47give a shit anymore. No, he doesn't care at all. Yeah,
- 21:49it's been pretty bitches. What what are you going to do about it?
- 21:53Not a damn thing. So we meet them driving home from that weird vacation
- 22:00winery like four episodes ago, and they're still arguing because Nicki feels upset that
- 22:07Igor was fucking other bitches while they were still technically dating. He's like,
- 22:11I don't see what the big idea is. I'm just a man, men,
- 22:15fuck, Like, what do you expect? It was a friends with
- 22:18benefits? Yeah, I mean it was Nicki cheating on him. She hasn't
- 22:23said she hasn't, but he hasn't asked no exactly, so he doesn't care.
- 22:27Yeah, and you guys were long distance and you guys have broken up.
- 22:32Listen, I would be broken hearted if I was long distance with somebody
- 22:37and I was like being faithful and I loved them and I was anticipating marriage
- 22:41and I found out that he's having all kinds of moldoven friends with benefit romances
- 22:45like in the way that she did. Ye, I would be broken hearted.
- 22:48But I don't know. I just can't like picture Nicki having a conversation
- 22:56with him being like this is these are the boundary, right, These are
- 23:00the parameters of the relationship that we're going to operate like, yeah, No,
- 23:03all she does is scream yep and demand sex. Yeah, exactly.
- 23:07By every phone call they had during long distance, it was some sort of
- 23:11fucking sex phone call. Sexy call. It's a phone sex call for real.
- 23:17So she's upset and Igor doesn't get it. And then they get back
- 23:21to his house. Why she's so upset? She's so driven by sex?
- 23:25Oh yeah, she's so driven by what is between her legs and the sexual
- 23:29experience. Can she not appreciate that he might want the same thing? No,
- 23:34okay, may you think that she's understand like, I get it because
- 23:40all I want to do is fuck all the time. Apparently no, but
- 23:42no, she's jealous as fuck. Yeah, and she wants monogamy, and
- 23:47I'm like, that's cool. Then you should have said that, you know
- 23:49what I mean? Like, if you guys had this seventeen year long like
- 23:53friendship slash relationship, you guys break up, you have this all this trauma
- 23:56and baggage, and then you have years of like kind of talking not talking,
- 24:02all this back and forth. Like I'm sure Igor was probably like,
- 24:04I mean, we're not married yet. But then again, they went to
- 24:10Mexico together, and so she said that even then he was still fucking people.
- 24:14So, like, they had a whole trip together and they were talking
- 24:17about marriage allegedly, So I get why she might be upset. It's all
- 24:22so convoluted. I don't know, it's not going anywhere, it's not going
- 24:26to work. Yep. Then they get back to the apartment and Nikki's like,
- 24:30I still have to talk about this, and Igor's like, okay,
- 24:33what, and she's like playing with that little stuffed animal Ostritch or whatever.
- 24:38He does not give up. He doesn't care. He doesn't care at all.
- 24:41And so she's like, okay, well, I need to know how
- 24:45many people you fucked because we had unprotected sex, so I need to know
- 24:48exactly how many. And he's like two. Okay, you don't believe him
- 24:52now. I think there's way more than too oh yeah, especially over the
- 24:57years, way more than two. Oh yeah, for sure, for sure.
- 25:00And so she's like, okay, fine, whatever, But I still
- 25:03feel used, and I still feel like you don't care about me. And
- 25:07I'm forty seven years old or whatever, and I did all of my experimenting
- 25:11in my twenties. I had three somes, I had four sims. I
- 25:15had five sums. I had them with all different shapes, three men,
- 25:18all up in every hole in Paris, and it wasn't that great. But
- 25:22I did that, and poor Igor is just sitting there going, well,
- 25:25I want to try some of that. Yeah, I want to have some
- 25:27sexual experiences. I'm stuck in Moldova with all these trad women. I want
- 25:32to go to Paris and bang people, right, But no, Nikki's not
- 25:34about that life anymore. No, She's like, I want monogamy. I
- 25:37want a husband. He's like, well, but you met me when we
- 25:40were in when I was in my twenties, and so I didn't get to
- 25:42experiment at all, and then we broke up in a traumatic way, and
- 25:47I still haven't gotten to experiment, So like, why can't we just experiment
- 25:51together? Uh huh? And I mean, I guess I can kind of
- 25:52understand the perspective if he's like being like, well, why can't we,
- 25:56you know, make it a part of our relationship. But Nikki doesn't want
- 26:00and that's fine, that's her boundary. But I'm like, this whole thing
- 26:03is just stupid as fuck, because then Nicki makes it about her being trans,
- 26:10and she says the reason why Igor was fucking other women is because she
- 26:15thinks that she isn't enough for him as a trans woman. And she's right.
- 26:19I'm not saying that's right. Yeah, she is right. Because of
- 26:22course we see Igor go out with his friend and have a discussion about how
- 26:26this is really hard trying to work it out with Nicki because she's always bringing
- 26:30this masculine energy and his friend, who is a complete toxic masculinity person trastic.
- 26:38Well, women are inherently manipulative, yeah, and so like you've got
- 26:42to show her your manly side, Yeah, be the man in the relationship.
- 26:47And he was like, okay, but I mean the fact of the
- 26:51matter is he's not attracted to Nicki. He's not. Try but he's not,
- 26:56But he's not. And like Nikki just needs to get that through her
- 26:57head and try to and stop trying to force him to love her, like
- 27:03she wants this to work so bad, I think, and I think he
- 27:06does love her. You think he even says, my heart loves her,
- 27:08my body not so much. My heart loves them. But like I can't
- 27:12like get it up. Yeah, I can't like feel that physical intimacy with
- 27:17her because I can't get there in my mind, and right or wrong,
- 27:21that's where he's at. And I feel like she just doesn't want to accept
- 27:23that and or she wants to take that really critically and judgmentally, whereas I
- 27:27don't think he can help it. Like I feel like Igor wishes he could
- 27:32think physically she was the hottest woman on the planet and get into it,
- 27:37but he can't. No, And I think he did when they first were
- 27:40together, like when he didn't know that she was trans, like he was
- 27:44all up in it. I mean they were together for two years, fucking
- 27:47all the time, and Nicki says that they had a crazy sex life,
- 27:51and then the second he found that out, he was like devastated, And
- 27:53so I mean, like, can you fucking blame him, Nikki, Like
- 27:56I'm sorry, but like you're the one that fucking lied. You didn't say
- 28:00anything to him, and now it's you're trying to make something work that's never
- 28:03gonna work, right, She needs to just give up, And it looks
- 28:07like she doesn't give up. It looks like she's going to receive a text
- 28:08at some point in the future where Igor just calls it off overtext, and
- 28:11she's going to be devastated. But I'm like, lady, the writing is
- 28:15on the wall. Yeah, and he's writing it on your wall over and
- 28:19over. Yes, he doesn't want this. His last ditch every was like
- 28:23why why did right? Why did he take her to meet his parents?
- 28:30Like? Why take her to meet all of his friends, who we already
- 28:33know are in Moldova totally judging him, Although they're being cool on the camera,
- 28:37they're totally judging him. Yeah, why would he put himself in all
- 28:38of these situations unless he did love her? Yeah, but that doesn't change
- 28:44the fact that he can't get there. No, he just can't do it.
- 28:45I think you're right. I think he really has been trying to get
- 28:48himself to love her and be with her, but it's just not fucking working.
- 28:53Then we get too man, she's desperate because she's forty seven. I'm
- 28:56not moving on. She's forty seven and she's almost fifty years old, you
- 29:00know, And she's like, well, what am I gonna do now?
- 29:04Yeah, and this is my hot young stud I've like hitched my wagon to
- 29:08the idea of us getting married, and now I'm almost fifty years old?
- 29:11What the fuck am I gonna do? I know she's feeling desperate. I
- 29:15know that's probably why she's acting so desperately with him, But she needs to
- 29:18calm down, pull back, collect herself. She's a lovely person. I
- 29:22mean, she calms down, she's a lovely person. And just move on
- 29:26in your own life. You'll be okay, Nikki, and maybe stop going
- 29:30after Moldovan men say you obviously don't have a good track record with them,
- 29:33right, Like, just stop it and try and find somebody. And fucking
- 29:37where's she from Jersey something? I mean, I'm sorry, like that,
- 29:41somebody go and Tinder or something? Yes, yes, good lord. Then
- 29:47we get to Manuel and Ashley you don't like him at all. I do
- 29:52not like him at all whole. But what I can acknowledge about him is
- 29:56that he puts himself out there authentically, like this is what I expect,
- 30:00this is how I think we should live, and this is what I'm gonna
- 30:03do. Yep. And Ashley just can't accept it. It's not like he's
- 30:08lying to her and saying I am fine if you go spend your money over
- 30:11here and then stealing. He's telling her exactly who he is and what he
- 30:15wants, and she's the one who's trying to change him, yes, and
- 30:18frustrating herself in the process. Yes, they have a weird fucking relationship.
- 30:23So we start off with them. Ashley has invited over Manuel's bff, Jonathan,
- 30:30who lives in New York, and the whole purpose of this was to
- 30:34make Menuel feel more comfortable and to have somebody else to speak Spanish with,
- 30:38right and feel a little bit more, you know, just at ease,
- 30:42because he's been feeling a little like a fish out of water up in New
- 30:45York. So Menuel and Jonathan go to like a bar or whatever, and
- 30:51Melwell immediately is like, Ashley spends way too much money. I feel like
- 30:55she needs to help me support my family. This was the agreement that we
- 30:57had. Blah blah blah. And Jonathan's like, dude, you're in America.
- 31:03Like people spend money here. We are a nation of consumers. I've
- 31:06got twenty pairs of shoes, I've got all these different clothes, Like,
- 31:08that's just the way it is here. It's not abnormal for Ashley to be
- 31:12spending money on Starbucks or shoes or little trinkets and stuff for herself. And
- 31:18I mean he's right, yes, he is. That's just what it is,
- 31:22And I mean, I understand that Unwell is kind of a frugal,
- 31:26you know dude, and he does care about his family and that's indicative of
- 31:29his culture is of course, of course. But at the same time,
- 31:33like, lighten up a little bit, like she is sending money, Like
- 31:36didn't we have two episodes ago, you guys agreed she's going to be sending
- 31:38your family like at least one hundred dollars a month, and then she's going
- 31:41to increase it, like she's sending your family money. It's not like she's
- 31:45not sending anything, right, it's I think his proprietary like claim over her
- 31:51money, Like he just expects her to take her own resources and send them
- 31:56to his family that he hasn't actually introduced her too properly. So she's just
- 32:00like, know these people are she's gonna be funding their lifestyle to some degree,
- 32:05and he's just like, damn right you are. Yeah, that's what
- 32:07I expect. Yeah, And at least he's putting it on Front Street and
- 32:12she could say no and she could break up, but she's not gonna do
- 32:15that. She's gonna make herself miserable for sure, to keep getting upset because
- 32:17he's saying the same thing over and over again. Yeah, And I wondered
- 32:22if, like the reason why he's so reactive about it is because he can't
- 32:25work, And so if he comes from this culture of like the men provide
- 32:29for the family, and the men are supposed to be working all this stuff,
- 32:32it might be really frustrating for him to not be able to provide any
- 32:36money. So he's like just fucking sending all the money that you have.
- 32:38I don't know. I'm getting Rob vibes from him. Rob He's going to
- 32:42be a I don't know. I'm just kidding, like, I'm not so
- 32:44sure if he's going to be working so hard. I don't know. I
- 32:46feel like he's just a drain on her resources and he's using her. Oh
- 32:52maybe he does get a job. I don't I'm sure he'll get a job,
- 32:54but I'm just saying, like, I don't feel like he's motivated to
- 32:58go out and do all that he wants to what she has for himself.
- 33:00M Well, time will tell with that for sure. And he's placating her
- 33:05with Dick because in the preview for next week, they're fighting and arguing and
- 33:08she's crying. She's upset that he still feels the same way that he's felt
- 33:12the entire time and told you about. And then he takes her into the
- 33:15bathroom and bangs her. Yeahroom, cressroom. I was so grossed, grossed
- 33:22out by that, Like that is nasty, dude, But whatever. I
- 33:24mean, their only like viable form of communication is sets. That's how they
- 33:30connect. That's it. And I really felt for Ashley in this episode because
- 33:32I've been kind of critical of her in these recaps because I think she's kind
- 33:36of annoying sometimes. But in this episode, I was like, dang,
- 33:38I feel really bad for her because Manuel. She joins Manuel and Jonathan at
- 33:44some point, and Menuel immediately is like, you're spending way too much money,
- 33:47and Ashley's like trying to communicate with Jonathan so that way he can try
- 33:52to translate to Menuel. It's like this whole big old mess. But essentially
- 33:57Ashley's like, fuck you, dude, because I pay for all of these
- 34:00bills on my own. I'm sponsoring you without a co signer, which I'm
- 34:04like, that's a big deal for Kwan visa, and she's sending money to
- 34:08your family, Like she's doing all this shit by herself with no help,
- 34:12with no family giving her any other money. You don't seem very grateful about
- 34:15any of it. You're just expecting more and more and more. Yes,
- 34:19I was like, dang slag queen, Like, I don't know what you
- 34:21do. Mean. I think she's kind of out of pocket. Every time
- 34:23they go out with other people, she's always bringing up their problems, and
- 34:27I think in that conversation with the friend at the coffee shop, she's the
- 34:30one who brings it up to their friend and she's like, I need you
- 34:31to tell him, like this is what I'm doing and this is what he
- 34:35needs to understand. I'm like, that's awkward. Why do you always have
- 34:37to fight in front of other people? Maybe it's a kink for them.
- 34:40Maybe maybe they just like that's what they do. They fight and they have
- 34:44makeup sex. I mean, they use sex to solve their problems, but
- 34:47maybe they like the conflicts. Maybe. Oh they're exhausting, they're really annoying.
- 34:52But I'm just like, okay, girl. Oh. She also says
- 34:55that I'm doing all this stuff for you monetarily, and I'm fucking you multiple
- 34:59times a day. I'm like, I think you like that, though.
- 35:01I think you're enjoying that. Maybe that's not necessarily Manuel, maybe that's you,
- 35:07you're jumping his book. But yeah, but she makes up. She's
- 35:08making a good point, like I am literally facilitating your entire existence. I'm
- 35:13giving you everything that I can possibly give you, and I'm giving shit to
- 35:15your family too, and you're still bitching about it. Man, Well fuck
- 35:19you fuck out of here. God, she go and marry him? So
- 35:22oh yeah, she marry him, I know. And then they're gonna divorce.
- 35:28Of course, he's gonna use her and then lose her, and she's
- 35:30gonna cry and be so shocked about it. Maybe they'll be on the Last
- 35:34Resort. Oh god, please know with the sex therapy. I want to
- 35:38see them on last Resort. I want to see Gino and Jasmine on last
- 35:44resort too, Maybe Nikki and Justin Igor. That'd be great. That would
- 35:47be pretty funny. I would like that. Yeah, she's probably gonna end
- 35:51up on The Single Life though, probably okay, which we haven't watched,
- 35:54No, we have none, nor do I want to. I'm not watching
- 35:57Veronica and Chantal no way, I'm not doing that. And Natalie, oh,
- 36:00I know, thank you the worst The Barnacle parasite. Natalie, No,
- 36:06I know, absolutely not last but not leaks. We get to Clayton,
- 36:10this little or milk toast in small stature, small dick man. No
- 36:22is the worst. It's the morning after they're really terrible double date with Cameron
- 36:29and his hands are so small. Do you ever like when he was working
- 36:32the girl, He's like, all I could do was look at his hands.
- 36:36I'm like, this is not looking good for Annie. No wonder it's
- 36:37been fifty nine days since you haven't had sex. This man has toddler hands,
- 36:44the hands of a three year old dude. He has no what do
- 36:46the kids call it? Riz? No, No, no at all.
- 36:52I'm like, dude, there's nothing redeemable about you, really nothing. I
- 36:57mean, your personality is terrible. Let's try to think of one thing that
- 37:00he's got that's redeeming of him. He loves animals, He's gonna say,
- 37:07he loves his mother. Yeah, I guess. Okay, he's got a
- 37:12stable job. I think it's more so than rob right, correct. Okay,
- 37:16so there's a few things, so I can see why somebody might buy
- 37:21into the idea of him. I guess. Until they get to America and
- 37:25actually have to spend time with him and see his little papper hair baby hands
- 37:30and got pymmy hands work in that girl's so nasty and so Annilly is obviously
- 37:38still upset with him for talking about their sex life immediately, and Clayton's justification
- 37:47for this and his talking head is like, well, but it's our private
- 37:51life, so it affects me, So I feel like I should be allowed
- 37:53to talk about it with my friend. I'd love my husband to tell me
- 37:58that, dude, you would divorce him. You'd be like, peace out.
- 38:01But back to what's his face? Rat face? Pamper like pamper rat
- 38:07face? Boy? Yeah, yeah, no, yeah, in a relationship,
- 38:12you don't do that. I mean, am I being unreasonable though?
- 38:15Because I know with women, women like to talk to other women, their
- 38:19friends about their relationships and things like that. I remember talking to my best
- 38:23friend in my twenties about my first husband and actually drawing a picture of a
- 38:29life size picture of his penis and drawing a life size picture of her husband's
- 38:35penis, and we were was it smaller? Was her husband smaller? Yeah,
- 38:40it's married to that small one man, honey, married to that small
- 38:44man. But I'm just saying like women, I do acknowledge that we tend
- 38:46to have those types of relationships with each other when we're always talking about it.
- 38:51But I don't know if my men did that, I would be upset.
- 38:53Well, yeah, especially, and I mean I don't know when I
- 38:57came into this family, Like I came from a family who talked mad shit,
- 39:00Like there ain't no secrets in my family at all, Like people talk
- 39:05about everybody in my family. So when I met your daughter, she has
- 39:07the same kind of way, like, don't talk about you know, our
- 39:10relationship, our personal stuff with like just anybody. Like if you want to
- 39:15mention a couple things, it's fine, but like, don't talk about our
- 39:19dirty details, especially our sex life. You don't need to be talking about
- 39:22that to strangers or National TV. Clayton, so right, I mean that
- 39:28was something that like I learned. I'm like, oh, okay, that's
- 39:30a normal human behavior. I don't want privacy and to have boundaries that,
- 39:35especially sexual stuff. So he was he's but he has no home training,
- 39:40he has no worldly experience, he doesn't have any social training. He does
- 39:45not know how to act. This is the first time he actually met that
- 39:46guy Cameron or whatever. What's his name, Cameron, Yeah, you know,
- 39:50in person. So he just doesn't know how to act. Well,
- 39:52I'm like, dude, and you're talking about the sex life. It'd be
- 39:54one thing if you were just talking about something very mundane in your guys's relationship.
- 39:59But you're talking about the fact that she won't fuck you right to these
- 40:02people you're just now meeting, she's never met before, and you're blasting it
- 40:07on TV, like, come on, such an Inso when he was saying
- 40:10all this stuff, he's like, well, it's our private life and it
- 40:13affects me, I'm like, oh my, that's not how that works.
- 40:16You are a dorbo virgin. I can't. But then he ultimately apologizes to
- 40:22Annaly and she accepts it like the dummy she is because she loves him for
- 40:27some right she does. She how she looks at him, she hates him.
- 40:31She literally hates him. She's disgusted by him, and so am I.
- 40:37So honalys the same. Yeah over breakfast when he's putting mayonnaise on his
- 40:40breakfast sandwich, and I'm just like, she hates him the way she's looking
- 40:47him, Like, oh, she's not attracted him. Nobody's attracted him.
- 40:52Nobody would be attracted him. No, not at all. And so after
- 40:58he apologizes or ever, then he's like, I've got a surprise for you.
- 41:01And then he's like, I can't tell you about it. So I'm
- 41:05gonna go hang out with Cameron, and then him and Cameron go and do
- 41:08some dance lessons. Gay gay? You think they're gay for each other?
- 41:20Well, there's the undertones of the helmet eroticism. When he's running into his
- 41:23arms in the airport, I know, and they're hugging everython. Can we
- 41:27still hug? I'm gonna hug you hug you wanna dance? I thought the
- 41:32same thing. I was like, dang, dude, maybe this whole ninety
- 41:37day fiance trope was just for him and Cameron Timmy. Maybe. But Clayton,
- 41:45just like Gino, is a bad fucking dancer go figure, which is
- 41:49so embarrassing. I'm like, it's not that hard, Like how do you
- 41:52not have rhythm? A lot of people don't have rhythm, But I mean,
- 41:55why are you putting yourself in a situation with another bro to learn how
- 42:00to dance? I just he's like trying to do it like romantic because he
- 42:05says he's learning a Peruvian dance, like a special Peruvian dance to dance with
- 42:09Annie at their wedding. And I'm like, okay, that's nobody's gonna laugh
- 42:15for anything with that big hat on and you dancing around in the proof if
- 42:19you're gonna be a wedding please, I doubt that she just got dump him
- 42:22a sap. I can't. She cannot go on, She's gonna have to.
- 42:27And then after the dancing, Cameron and Clayton again talk about Clayton's relationship
- 42:32even more, and Cameron's giving him advice and he's like, well, you
- 42:37know, you need to talk to her about not fucking you, but also
- 42:39you need to talk to her about how she's not telling her dad about you,
- 42:43right, which I mean that's fair, yes on yep. Continue.
- 42:47So then they go back to the nice Airbnb, where Cameron ultimately says his
- 42:52goodbyes. He's like, it was nice seeing y'all. Piece. Did you
- 42:53see how Annelie was looking at him? Though? Oh yeah, She's like
- 42:57he's cute, little dreamy eyes. Yeah, yeah, like you're a He
- 43:00kind of looks like like a Ross version of Bruno Mars, a Ross version
- 43:07of Bruno Mars. Yeah he's not my type, but like he's infinitely better
- 43:10than Clayton. Oh yeah, yeah, take me with you, Clayton.
- 43:17Oh god. And then Clayton cooks Onnally a very sad, pathetic looking dinner
- 43:22with this weird steak and store bought potatoes Toddlerham I know, work in the
- 43:29grill Toddlerham really bad. It looks very unhapptizing, and then he immediately gets
- 43:34into Hey, Annie, why don't you tell your dad about me? And
- 43:37she's like, we've talked about this. Are you really gonna ruin my dinner?
- 43:42Yes, bitch, I'm gonna ruin your dinner because like we're gonna get
- 43:44married within thirty days or whatever it is, and you haven't told your parents
- 43:46yet, Like, what are you actually doing here? Yeah, we've been
- 43:49together for two years. Why can't you say something right? You're saying it
- 43:52on TV? And she's like hiding. I know there's some kind of an
- 43:54ulterior motive here. Maybe she's ashamed of Clayton. Ant that could be the
- 44:00most obvious choice, right, yeah, Like maybe she's in love with him.
- 44:05I can't see why, but maybe she just doesn't want to bring him
- 44:07home. To she don't touch the man. She won't. She has,
- 44:12though, I to lure so that she could lure him into a relationship so
- 44:17she could move to America. Like and then she's gonna marry him, and
- 44:20she's gonna immediately leave him. But she doesn't want to live in America.
- 44:23She doesn't want to live in Kentucky. She's from Peru. She's like move
- 44:28yeah, yeah, she wants to be with her sick mom. Like,
- 44:30I don't think she even wanted to come to me. I don't know what's
- 44:31happening with this girl. I just know that, like she seems mean to
- 44:36me, Like I do. I've felt that from the beginning. She's like
- 44:38got a hard heart sometimes, the way she looks at him, the way
- 44:42she talks to him. Yeah, and she's hiding something and she doesn't have
- 44:45the courage to just tell him what it is. And he's asking a very
- 44:49reasonable question, and so she gets up, she leaves that little steak.
- 44:52She goes and cries in another room, and I'm like, what's going on
- 44:54with these people? And it's left on a cliffhanger because they're going to fight
- 44:58about it in the next episode. And that's like the whole preview. So
- 45:01we get to the preview where Clayton and Lee are fighting and she's crying and
- 45:06she threatens to break up. Good please, duet go. Gino proposes to
- 45:12Jasmine, and Jasmine feels guilty because now she's got to tell him because he
- 45:15paid her that big old dog paid for by her ex right, most of
- 45:22it was paid for, most of it, and all the money that Gino
- 45:24gave her for a wedding dress went to her ass. What's he gonna do?
- 45:30Do you think? Oh, he's gonna be pissed. Yeah, he's
- 45:31gonna be like, I gave you four thousand dollars and you used it for
- 45:35your ass. But maybe she'll spin it and be like, but I know
- 45:38you love my ass, Gino. Of course she's gonna try. Yeah,
- 45:40we'll see what he does though. Yeah, he's probably gonna freak out.
- 45:44And then Sam talks with Citra's father, which I'm very excited to see because
- 45:47I feel like the dad's gonna be like, oh fuck you. Yeah.
- 45:52And then Igor and Niki are still fighting because he's not attracted to her.
- 45:58M Manuel and Ashley go far in a public restroom and probably get some diseases.
- 46:02And then Rob is still yelling at Sophie's mom. Yeah, so that's
- 46:07it. Good episode, good talk, nice comeback. So how many more
- 46:12episodes do you think we have of this season? I don't know. This
- 46:15was episode twelve. It kind of feels like Nicky and Igor are wrapping up,
- 46:19because what more can they really do? I know we're stretching this out.
- 46:22Annalie and Clayton were almost at the end. We're definitely almost at the
- 46:25end with Manuel and what's her name? Actually the tornado wedding coming up shortly,
- 46:31Robin Sophie. I hear spoiler alert, I hear they're not together.
- 46:36Oh, at some point they moved to Texas and I think Austin and specific
- 46:40I think they lived together for a little while. But then now he's on
- 46:45his own and she's got some nice, tricked out apartment in Austin, and
- 46:46he's probably living in a dumpster. Not this dumpster, though, some other
- 46:52dumpster. Yeah, oh my gosh. Well, honestly good because I did
- 46:54not want to see more of them. Yes, he's the worst. But
- 46:58did they get married first? And did they move together as a married couple?
- 47:01Oh? God, may did she not? Maybe they did well because
- 47:06Normally, this season usually concludes with like weddings. It's usually like this,
- 47:10and then after this we'll have a spin off of like Happily or ever After.
- 47:14So like normally that's how it goes. But what we've only had We
- 47:17haven't even had a wedding, have we? No? I don't think we
- 47:22have. So we have one wedding that's coming up, Manuel and Ashley's,
- 47:24but that's it. And maybe Geno and Jasmine maybe I don't know if they're
- 47:29an I don't know. I don't. I don't think they are. Yeah,
- 47:31I don't. I don't think anybody's getting married. So there's got to
- 47:35be like maybe two more episodes I could see, and then tell Alls is
- 47:38what I'm thinking. There's probably gonna be like three. Are we gonna be
- 47:40covering all the tell Alls? Yeah? Okay, Well I don't want to.
- 47:44Well, we got to, it's for the job. But we're starting
- 47:47vander Pump Rules at the end of this month. Yeah, So do we
- 47:51think that ninety Day Fiance is gonna wind down by then? When does Vanderfrumpt
- 47:55come out the last week of January? Think, oh, maybe it don't.
- 48:00We might have to overlap with some of the toell all. And by
- 48:01the way, Raccoons, we might have to switch up our schedule a little
- 48:06bit because at the end of Sister Wives, which is next Monday, that's
- 48:08the last episode for season eighteen, we're gonna switch over to Sister Wives.
- 48:13Rewinds, we're gonna start with season four, so we're kind of going back
- 48:15into the archives and doing recaps from there. But we might move our Sister
- 48:21Wives coverage till later in the week and then have vander Pump and ninety Day
- 48:25Fiance earlier in the week, although I don't know because I think vander Pump
- 48:30probably comes out on a Wednesday. I know it's gonna change everything. Don't
- 48:34they know that we have a schedule, you know, Well, we're gonna
- 48:36we might have to switch it up a little. Yeah, we might have
- 48:37to adjust it, So just be flexible, Raccoons. We're getting our shit
- 48:42together. Yeah. Well, is there anything else that we need to tell
