- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becka Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Podcast, Hello everybody, We are scrubbing it. We are back.
- 0:17Speaker 3: It is the year twenty twenty six.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Twenty twenty six. It came quick. It came like a
- 0:23Speaker 2: thief in the night.
- 0:24Speaker 4: It came like a storm.
- 0:27Speaker 5: She can.
- 0:30Speaker 6: Our first beef of the year. Yeah, felt good.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Yeah, she came in hot. She did come in hot.
- 0:37Speaker 3: She came in hot.
- 0:38Speaker 2: We took last week off due to medical emergency. Yes,
- 0:43Speaker 2: our dear Tanya. Everyone was very concerned about you. I
- 0:45Speaker 2: was getting messages left and right, what's going on with Tanya?
- 0:49Speaker 6: The Facebook group was a muck Is that the right word?
- 0:55Speaker 4: I think it kind of works. They're running, they're running.
- 0:58Speaker 5: A look with.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Oh wow, all a tizzy you were.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Yeah, it was actually really It's so interesting because I
- 1:10Speaker 3: wasn't on social media. We are obviously on winter break,
- 1:13Speaker 3: Christmas break what you call it, from work, and I
- 1:19Speaker 3: was just going through it. So I wasn't really on
- 1:20Speaker 3: my socials, and you don't really think anybody notices, but
- 1:23Speaker 3: like I was getting so many dms just around like
- 1:26Speaker 3: Christmas and around New Year's which I found to be
- 1:29Speaker 3: like so interesting, you know, Like I was like, I'm
- 1:31Speaker 3: just on Instagram every day and you don't think people
- 1:34Speaker 3: notice until.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Well I think if I wasn't on there, they wouldn't
- 1:37Speaker 2: notice because I'll just go ghosts for like days or weeks.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Yeah, but you're on, You're consistent. Yeah, I don't go
- 1:43Speaker 3: so you're a part of Ghoster, but you're a part.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Of people's daily lives on Instagram, right, So when you
- 1:50Speaker 2: go ghosts, yeah, people are concerned.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Yes, and there was reason to be concerned, and.
- 1:57Speaker 6: There certainly was certainly was reason concerned.
- 2:01Speaker 3: I can't get into the specifics because I have spent
- 2:06Speaker 3: the last three weeks just crying and so emotional. So
- 2:09Speaker 3: I'm like excited to be back and be at work
- 2:12Speaker 3: and like have a distraction. But it was we spent
- 2:19Speaker 3: Christmas alone. We canceled our plans, like I've just been home.
- 2:24Speaker 3: I've just been home. And it was a really crazy
- 2:29Speaker 3: couple of weeks that did culminate into emergency surgery, which
- 2:34Speaker 3: is very crazy. I don't even have you ever had
- 2:38Speaker 3: like an elective surgery or like a scheduled surgery.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I had my appendix out when I was seven, that
- 2:45Speaker 1: counts kind of. I barely remember, but I had my
- 2:48Speaker 1: nose deviated septum done, okay, so that was kind of.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I feel like that's not even like worth mentioning compared
- 2:57Speaker 1: to what you've gone through, because I.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Do feel like just being in like an operating room,
- 3:02Speaker 3: like the whole thing was.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, it's scary.
- 3:05Speaker 3: It's so scary, and like when it is an emergency,
- 3:08Speaker 3: they're running through all the things that like could go
- 3:11Speaker 3: wrong because like legally they have to do that, you know,
- 3:14Speaker 3: and you're already so scared and so vulnerable. So it's
- 3:17Speaker 3: all just like it feels like everything is going a
- 3:19Speaker 3: million miles an hour. There's like fifteen people around you.
- 3:23Speaker 3: You have to do certain things alone. So I was
- 3:25Speaker 3: just like, especially the surgery, you know what I mean,
- 3:27Speaker 3: Like nobody could go in there with me, and so
- 3:29Speaker 3: it's just like you're alone. There's all these people like
- 3:32Speaker 3: holding and tugging, and like it was just like such
- 3:36Speaker 3: a crazy, crazy experience, Like I will never forget it.
- 3:42Speaker 3: But the doctors and the nurses at the er that
- 3:45Speaker 3: I was dealing with, we're so unbelievably kind and like
- 3:52Speaker 3: tender to me, because you know, everybody wears like the
- 3:55Speaker 3: masks in the ear and then they pulled me into
- 3:57Speaker 3: my room to kind of tell me what was going on.
- 3:59Speaker 3: They all like took their mind asks off so that
- 4:00Speaker 3: I could like see them, see them, you know what
- 4:03Speaker 3: I mean, Like I don't know, it just like made
- 4:05Speaker 3: it more like per personal. But man, they were all
- 4:09Speaker 3: just like so so kind to me, and I'm just like,
- 4:12Speaker 3: I'm one of probably two or three hundred people that
- 4:16Speaker 3: are going to see in this shift, and they made
- 4:18Speaker 3: me feel like I was the only patient in there,
- 4:21Speaker 3: and like it was just like so crazy.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Plus we've all seen so many medical shows.
- 4:26Speaker 1: It's tough to be the one on the gurney the
- 4:30Speaker 1: bad looking up at the doctor.
- 4:32Speaker 4: That's such a scary.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Thing, even for a colonoscopy that I've had a few of.
- 4:36Speaker 1: To me, even that scary because I'm in the sterile
- 4:38Speaker 1: room and they're putting that stuff in your hand to
- 4:40Speaker 1: make you go to sleep, and you feel it's starting
- 4:41Speaker 1: to work, and you're like, oh God, hope everything goes okay.
- 4:45Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, I still, I mean, you can't really
- 4:46Speaker 3: see anymore. But I had like a pretty giant bruise there,
- 4:51Speaker 3: but I was I gonna say, oh yeah, So I
- 4:56Speaker 3: like don't like a lot of drugs, Like I try
- 4:58Speaker 3: to like air on the side of like no omeds.
- 5:00Speaker 3: And it was very funny like as the night went
- 5:02Speaker 3: on in the emergency room, like they're like, we're gonna
- 5:04Speaker 3: give you like a little something, and I was like,
- 5:05Speaker 3: I just want the bare minimum, Like what the least
- 5:07Speaker 3: thing that you can give me, like give me And
- 5:09Speaker 3: then like as it went on and like I found
- 5:11Speaker 3: out I needed like emergency surgery, they were like, we're
- 5:13Speaker 3: gonna give you some of the hard stuff. I was like, please,
- 5:16Speaker 3: please just give me whatever.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I was like texting Tanya, I go let me know
- 5:20Speaker 2: if you want me to come and play Gray's Anatomy
- 5:22Speaker 2: with you, think of the content we could get.
- 5:30Speaker 6: I was just trying to lighten the mood.
- 5:31Speaker 2: But it really is like doctors and nurses are amazing. Yeah,
- 5:36Speaker 2: like what they just the sacrifice that they make to
- 5:39Speaker 2: do that job. But then during the holiday season and missing.
- 5:43Speaker 3: Time, yeah, like I'm like I asked them all, I'm like,
- 5:46Speaker 3: are you awake, Like how awake?
- 5:48Speaker 4: Do you just remember?
- 5:49Speaker 3: Being like how tired are you right now? Like are
- 5:51Speaker 3: you good? Like can I buy coffees? For everybody. Like
- 5:54Speaker 3: I just remember being like, because it was so late,
- 5:57Speaker 3: I'm like I would be asleep right now. Well that's
- 5:59Speaker 3: probably they probably that's the name of the game. Yeah,
- 6:02Speaker 3: that's the night shift. Yeah, yeah, that was like I
- 6:05Speaker 3: was very concerned about everybody's awakeness, Like can we.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Push this a few hours for the morning shift to
- 6:11Speaker 2: come in.
- 6:14Speaker 3: It's nice to laugh about it. It's nice to like
- 6:17Speaker 3: laugh because it's just been it's been very heavy, and
- 6:21Speaker 3: like the weirdest thing of it all is like I've
- 6:24Speaker 3: fallen even more in love with Robbie than ever before.
- 6:27Speaker 3: He's come to every appointment and he's everything, like a
- 6:32Speaker 3: bum and beyond, and he got us these like necklaces
- 6:38Speaker 3: that are like dependent, like he wears my sign and
- 6:42Speaker 3: I wear his zodiac sign and we have them on
- 6:44Speaker 3: a so that we're always together no matter what, and
- 6:47Speaker 3: like it was just a love and he I couldn't.
- 6:51Speaker 6: Have asked for a better partner.
- 6:53Speaker 2: So anyways, that's a little bit about me.
- 6:56Speaker 1: You could tell in the carousel you posted, most of
- 7:00Speaker 1: which were Robbie that he was just on it.
- 7:02Speaker 4: He was just there and on it.
- 7:03Speaker 2: And like I am just I really you really hope
- 7:11Speaker 2: that your best friend finds like a good partner, you know,
- 7:14Speaker 2: like you really just hope that they're good and they're
- 7:16Speaker 2: treated well. Robbie is like the definition of like a teammate.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:22Speaker 6: I remember what we talked about.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Was it Chelsea Handler when she was here, and really
- 7:26Speaker 2: he's a partner work out.
- 7:28Speaker 4: No, he wasn't a.
- 7:29Speaker 6: Partner, but Robbie is a partner.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:32Speaker 2: And y'all are such a like team together and y'all
- 7:34Speaker 2: work together. It's like really really beautiful from I mean,
- 7:39Speaker 2: obviously I'm close with y'all.
- 7:40Speaker 3: So and like I felt so guilty because I'm like
- 7:42Speaker 3: I couldn't hold up my end of the partnership because
- 7:45Speaker 3: I was just like physically unable to for like a while,
- 7:48Speaker 3: and he was because he was just doing everything, but
- 7:50Speaker 3: he wouldn't let me, Like he wouldn't let me lift
- 7:52Speaker 3: a dish. I'm like, I can do a dish.
- 7:54Speaker 6: Like sickness and health baby.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Yeah. So anyways, that's a little bit about me. I
- 8:00Speaker 3: didn't go on any trips. I didn't see anybody else,
- 8:03Speaker 3: just home. I watched a lot of TV, which we
- 8:04Speaker 3: can discuss at some point.
- 8:05Speaker 6: Yes, you needed rest.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah, rest, I got it.
- 8:09Speaker 2: It wasn't the rest you were expecting or the way
- 8:13Speaker 2: you expected to get it. But I think your body said,
- 8:16Speaker 2: we're doing this rest.
- 8:18Speaker 4: So where were you at midnight? New Year's Eve? Where
- 8:20Speaker 4: were you?
- 8:21Speaker 3: We stayed home. FOI always get insurance when you buy
- 8:26Speaker 3: your flights, because that was another oh wrench in the system.
- 8:33Speaker 3: We we spent New Year's Eve with my in laws.
- 8:38Speaker 3: We were playing cards, and then at midnight we watched
- 8:41Speaker 3: The Ball Drop and then we watched the new episode
- 8:43Speaker 3: of Stranger Things. Oh nice, in our pajamas.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Two hours that episode. Yeah you up late?
- 8:49Speaker 3: Two well?
- 8:50Speaker 6: Rage?
- 8:51Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 8:51Speaker 3: Raged?
- 8:52Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 8:53Speaker 6: What did you do over the holidays?
- 8:54Speaker 5: Mark?
- 8:54Speaker 4: Thank you so much for asking.
- 8:55Speaker 1: We were in Wisconsin ten days at really nice time,
- 8:58Speaker 1: got a little bit of snow, wasn't too terribly cold,
- 9:01Speaker 1: so a lot of family. Pretty standard Christmas for us,
- 9:04Speaker 1: but we had a very good time.
- 9:05Speaker 6: It rained there, a little bit of rain was.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Chicago and pouring rain, so lay in Chicago. There was
- 9:11Speaker 1: the Night Before Christmas show that was phenomenal, really phenomenal show.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Favorite show you see that one specifically, no no, no, sorry.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Movie, oh.
- 9:23Speaker 1: No, not the Nightmare Before Christmas. It was a circulay
- 9:26Speaker 1: show called twas the night before.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Oh, that doesn't sound good at all, Like the.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Poem was the night before Christmas and altered the house.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I thought it was before Christmas. Nothing to do with
- 9:35Speaker 1: tim or any of that. But it was a phenomenal show.
- 9:39Speaker 1: My whole family was so sad when it was over,
- 9:41Speaker 1: Like it was just it was so great to watch.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I would just look to my left and all three
- 9:45Speaker 1: of my girls in my family or just eyes wide
- 9:48Speaker 1: smiles on their faces, and it was just exactly what
- 9:51Speaker 1: you want from the show.
- 9:52Speaker 4: It was great.
- 9:52Speaker 3: I love that.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Oh, wa had a really nice time. I think of
- 9:55Speaker 1: New Year's Eve, we stayed home. My wife wasn't feeling well,
- 9:57Speaker 1: so we stayed in and watched a little bit.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Oh we watched the j Kelly, the George Clearing movie
- 10:02Speaker 4: Ja Kelly. That was the New Year's Eve.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Oh, how was that?
- 10:04Speaker 4: I loved it?
- 10:04Speaker 5: What is that on?
- 10:06Speaker 4: It's on Netflix? Oh, and I really enjoyed it.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I haven't saying anything about it.
- 10:10Speaker 1: And then my honestly until the oh, he's great, Adam
- 10:15Speaker 1: Sandler's great in it. It's Elvis's granddaughter Riley Key in it.
- 10:22Speaker 1: But then my daughter's plans fell through and she was
- 10:24Speaker 1: home before midnight, and then my other daughter's plans. She
- 10:26Speaker 1: came home after midnight, so we're all together, even though
- 10:29Speaker 1: that was never the plan.
- 10:30Speaker 5: That's special.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Yeah, it was nice.
- 10:32Speaker 6: That's special.
- 10:33Speaker 3: What'd you do? You went home? You were a little
- 10:35Speaker 3: You're busy.
- 10:37Speaker 2: It was a busy little bee. I went to Florida
- 10:40Speaker 2: for Christmas. I went on Christmas Eve. I took Phoebe,
- 10:43Speaker 2: which was an absolute nightmare. Like I haven't taken her
- 10:47Speaker 2: on a fight since she was like before she was
- 10:51Speaker 2: even a year old. And I was like, she's so
- 10:54Speaker 2: calm and she's eight, she's so mature. I'm talking. She
- 10:59Speaker 2: was cratching and squealing the whole flight. I was like,
- 11:04Speaker 2: everyone hates me. It's early, everyone's just trying to get
- 11:07Speaker 2: where they're going, and I have this flight too. Well,
- 11:10Speaker 2: there's no direct flight, so it's separate. So I flew
- 11:13Speaker 2: to Austin. Oh, okay, anytime with her doing that was
- 11:17Speaker 2: a long time though, too long. So that was really
- 11:21Speaker 2: hard because I was by myself and I'm just like
- 11:23Speaker 2: texting Haley just out of panic, not really expecting her
- 11:26Speaker 2: to do anything.
- 11:27Speaker 6: Tanya had ubered.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Me some Trasidon, which I was like, she'll be knocked out.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I think it made her. Apparently they can.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Have a That's crazy because anytime we give Sonny her trassy,
- 11:38Speaker 3: she is high as a kite.
- 11:40Speaker 2: She bought chill, fought like hell, She fall like hell
- 11:44Speaker 2: against it.
- 11:45Speaker 3: It's so crazy.
- 11:47Speaker 2: And so then on this second flight, I just took
- 11:51Speaker 2: her out and they, I think the flight attendants were
- 11:54Speaker 2: just like, she's being fine on her lap, so just
- 11:57Speaker 2: leave it.
- 11:57Speaker 4: You know.
- 11:58Speaker 3: That's so interesting. Whenever I put Sony my lap there
- 12:01Speaker 3: on me like a hawk, things she got. She gotta
- 12:03Speaker 3: go back in her.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Well when the whole plane is stressed because this one
- 12:07Speaker 2: dog is like squealing loud with no relief. They said whatever,
- 12:14Speaker 2: And then I went home. And then Haley came after
- 12:16Speaker 2: Chris the day after Christmas to Florida. It was her
- 12:19Speaker 2: first time to Florida, where my parents lived, so it
- 12:23Speaker 2: was fun.
- 12:23Speaker 6: We had beautiful weather.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Weirdly it was so we went to the beach, so
- 12:27Speaker 2: she got to see the beaches there that are so beautiful,
- 12:30Speaker 2: and we just hang out with my parents and my
- 12:32Speaker 2: sister Henk, and then we went to we went and
- 12:34Speaker 2: saw the Housemaid.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Is it good?
- 12:37Speaker 6: It's did you see it? It's so good? And a
- 12:41Speaker 6: lot of people have read here.
- 12:43Speaker 3: It's good you haven't read the book, right, uh uh?
- 12:46Speaker 2: I'm torn because reading the book was like the coolest
- 12:49Speaker 2: experience book. But people seeing the movie without knowing what
- 12:52Speaker 2: happened is also really fun. Because Haley and Henk hadn't
- 12:55Speaker 2: seen it, my mom and I had seen it, so
- 12:58Speaker 2: I was kind of just like watching them to their reaction.
- 13:01Speaker 2: So I don't even know if i'd recommend, I would
- 13:03Speaker 2: just go see it. I don't even think you need
- 13:05Speaker 2: to read the book.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Was I gonna read the book?
- 13:07Speaker 4: Book?
- 13:08Speaker 2: Let me just spare you.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Boiler alert. I was not going to read the book.
- 13:13Speaker 6: The book is so good, but I loved it. A
- 13:18Speaker 6: lot of people who read.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Looking over saying, let me tell you, just to watch
- 13:22Speaker 3: it is the best thing ever.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Well, I didn't know if you wanted a break from
- 13:25Speaker 2: screen time.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Nah, more screen time than better is what I say.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Twenty six Oh I like that. Yeah, just bring on
- 13:33Speaker 3: the screen time, good kid.
- 13:34Speaker 6: I've had kid mentality.
- 13:36Speaker 3: At one point over the break, I think I had
- 13:37Speaker 3: three screens going. I had my TV on, I was
- 13:40Speaker 3: doing something online, and I had my phone going wow, yeah.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Wow, let's bring them on. Have you watched people we
- 13:47Speaker 2: met on vacation.
- 13:48Speaker 5: There's so much.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I've watched that I would like to get into after
- 13:52Speaker 3: like maybe a little bit of a break, and maybe
- 13:55Speaker 3: we discussed the Golden Globes because Okay, there's just so
- 13:58Speaker 3: much to get into.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Well, I'm not done with my vacation plans. So anyways,
- 14:03Speaker 2: we come back.
- 14:05Speaker 6: We came back. Maybe it was a night I gave her.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Someone wrote me and goes, my Pomeranian does the same
- 14:11Speaker 2: thing on trasidone.
- 14:12Speaker 6: Try these chews. So I ordered these chews to my.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Parents' house from Amazon, so specifically to that drug.
- 14:18Speaker 5: A legend.
- 14:18Speaker 6: No, it wasn't. She fought through those.
- 14:23Speaker 2: The people in the flight back were like way more chill.
- 14:25Speaker 2: They just let me hold her basically the whole time.
- 14:30Speaker 2: And then we got home. We did vision boards on
- 14:32Speaker 2: New Year's Eve, and then Haley's dad wrote in the.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Rose Bowl parade, so he got that seems like a
- 14:39Speaker 3: lifetime ago. I'm not kidding because I was like so
- 14:42Speaker 3: excited about her dad being on this parade, But that
- 14:45Speaker 3: literally feels like it was a month ago.
- 14:47Speaker 6: Yeah, I know.
- 14:48Speaker 2: So her dad is a double transplant recipient. He had
- 14:53Speaker 2: a heart and liver transplant in twenty and seventeen, and
- 14:57Speaker 2: so he was on the Legacy for Life Flow and
- 15:01Speaker 2: we had been talking about that. We were all gonna
- 15:03Speaker 2: go obviously for months when he found out, and of
- 15:06Speaker 2: course it's like pouring rain and cold. It wasn't too cold,
- 15:09Speaker 2: but pouring renny cold chilli.
- 15:11Speaker 4: First time in twenty years y New Year's rosel prey,
- 15:14Speaker 4: so you know.
- 15:17Speaker 6: Was I was.
- 15:18Speaker 2: I also, by the by the way, you have to
- 15:21Speaker 2: be there early at the parade, so we woke up
- 15:24Speaker 2: at five point thirty. I checked my phone just to
- 15:27Speaker 2: make sure the preid was still on.
- 15:29Speaker 6: It's the praise so lock.
- 15:30Speaker 3: They probably would have canceled it there was if there
- 15:32Speaker 3: was lightning or something.
- 15:34Speaker 2: I think if there was the lightning. But there's no
- 15:35Speaker 2: way they'd canceled because because there's so much planning.
- 15:38Speaker 6: Ye I go all you that, so many roses, so
- 15:41Speaker 6: many roses.
- 15:42Speaker 2: So we went down. We were all in ponchos, drenched
- 15:45Speaker 2: in the rain. I have to say, it was so
- 15:47Speaker 2: much fun to see him on the like it was
- 15:49Speaker 2: a thrill to see him on the float. But I
- 15:53Speaker 2: was looking around and obviously we were there to watch him,
- 15:56Speaker 2: but I was looking at all these people who were
- 15:58Speaker 2: just there to see the prey sitting in the rain.
- 16:02Speaker 6: I was like, what are y'all doing?
- 16:04Speaker 3: Go home?
- 16:07Speaker 2: But I honestly was like inspired. I was like, I
- 16:09Speaker 2: love the dedication. This is a tradition for people. They
- 16:12Speaker 2: come from all over the world. There were there was
- 16:14Speaker 2: a band from Japan in there.
- 16:16Speaker 3: I remember because I'm watching your Instagram stories and I
- 16:18Speaker 3: was like, why do none of them have umbrellas? They're
- 16:20Speaker 3: just like letting the rain soak that right now. I'm like,
- 16:25Speaker 3: if everybody had an umbrella, that would be such a hazard.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it has never been canceled for rain. Their motto
- 16:31Speaker 1: is rain or shine. Only two events in the history
- 16:33Speaker 1: have ever canceled the Rose Parade.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Can you name them?
- 16:36Speaker 6: Two events?
- 16:37Speaker 4: COVID COVID was one of them.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Dang, I win. Earthquake, don't tell us yet? Strike?
- 16:50Speaker 6: Was it old or were we alive?
- 16:51Speaker 4: Nope?
- 16:52Speaker 3: Oh, we weren't alive. Was it like Reagan something?
- 16:57Speaker 6: An assassination?
- 17:00Speaker 4: Deascination?
- 17:00Speaker 2: No?
- 17:02Speaker 6: Was it an earthquake.
- 17:03Speaker 1: It's been going on since eighteen ninety by the way,
- 17:05Speaker 1: so we got plenty of runway here to play with.
- 17:07Speaker 4: But I got one, yeah, one.
- 17:08Speaker 6: It wasn't an earthquake.
- 17:09Speaker 4: It was not an earthquake.
- 17:12Speaker 3: I don't know, I give up.
- 17:13Speaker 4: It was World War two, Oh my god, because of
- 17:19Speaker 4: the war.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Oh okay, so it was not being canceled because a
- 17:22Speaker 2: little drizzle.
- 17:25Speaker 6: But we were all sitting out there.
- 17:26Speaker 2: When you put your head forward, the rain just like.
- 17:30Speaker 6: Like went over our head. It was lovely. And then
- 17:33Speaker 6: Haley got violently ill.
- 17:35Speaker 2: And I've just been playing nurse for a week, so
- 17:38Speaker 2: that's a little bit about me.
- 17:40Speaker 3: I was so excited too when I found out that
- 17:42Speaker 3: herd out I was gonna be on this float. I
- 17:44Speaker 3: was like, what's the name of the flow?
- 17:45Speaker 2: Like the amount of questions, I'm like, Tanya, I don't know.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Well, because I was on New Year's Eve and I
- 17:50Speaker 3: was talking to Robbie's parents and they were like, oh,
- 17:52Speaker 3: we want to watch too, like which flow is it
- 17:53Speaker 3: gonna be? And I was like, I actually don't know,
- 17:55Speaker 3: so let me get the name of the float and
- 17:56Speaker 3: what time, and you know, I was getting all the information.
- 17:58Speaker 3: I slipt into like ten for the next day. I
- 18:02Speaker 3: was like, his float's long gone. I missed him by
- 18:06Speaker 3: an hours hour. But I think I think it replays itself, sure,
- 18:09Speaker 3: so I was like waiting for the replay and then
- 18:11Speaker 3: that just I never saw him. It was so sad.
- 18:14Speaker 2: That's okay, I got good videos can Yeah, I.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Saw him on Instagram, but I think it would have
- 18:18Speaker 3: hit different had I seen it on the TV.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Yeah, he got some in different you know, different areas
- 18:23Speaker 2: of the country, showed different footage of it, and he
- 18:26Speaker 2: got some screen time in different cities, so close shots.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I wanted to see that.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Yeah, it was really fun. It was fun to like
- 18:33Speaker 2: watch and wave and see if he didn't see us. Yeah,
- 18:36Speaker 2: but we were waving our hearts out. When everyone's in
- 18:39Speaker 2: Poncho's it's hard to Is there a.
- 18:40Speaker 3: Part of you, like Chris or Christmas New Year's Eve
- 18:43Speaker 3: where you were like, if Helely doesn't want to go, like,
- 18:47Speaker 3: I'm not gonna be mad. Yeah, you're waiting for her
- 18:52Speaker 3: to be like, it's raining, let's just watch on the TV.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Well, my thing is that her dad was very much
- 18:58Speaker 2: like it's pouring. If y'all don't want to come to
- 19:01Speaker 2: sit in the rain, he was like, I'll love y'all
- 19:03Speaker 2: even more because you're smart.
- 19:05Speaker 3: That texted me in the morning, she goes, I woke
- 19:07Speaker 3: up this morning and singing Sackricie, do what you Want.
- 19:18Speaker 6: I love that song. It gets stuck in my head
- 19:20Speaker 6: a lot. It does for me too.
- 19:23Speaker 2: So yeah, it was a really chill It was a
- 19:25Speaker 2: very like family oriented, uh holiday. Yeah, closeness love that.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Yeah sounds like it was for everybody closeness.
- 19:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it's fine.
- 19:41Speaker 2: But we do have a lot of TV and all
- 19:44Speaker 2: pop culture things to talk about.
- 19:46Speaker 3: I mean, there's so much to get to.
- 19:48Speaker 6: There's so much to get to.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Yeah, opinions on mom talk, mom groups and whatnot.
- 19:53Speaker 3: And I have a hot take on your hot takes.
- 19:54Speaker 3: I think I have two hot takes on your hot takes,
- 19:56Speaker 3: and I feel the opposite of your hot takes.
- 19:58Speaker 6: And I cannot wait to hear them.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Do you have any guesses?
- 20:03Speaker 6: That was about to be.
- 20:03Speaker 4: A clear Okay, I'm ready.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Do you have any guesses?
- 20:07Speaker 2: I know it's about the football announcer, okay, but I
- 20:11Speaker 2: don't know if the other one is.
- 20:13Speaker 6: Stay tuned.
- 20:31Speaker 3: We're back. Your MIC's not on?
- 20:34Speaker 6: Who turned it off?
- 20:38Speaker 3: I think it happens automatically when markets the commercials.
- 20:41Speaker 6: I was like, we're back.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Okay, So you watched a lot of TV, but I.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Think we should start with the Golden Globes since they
- 20:48Speaker 3: were last night.
- 20:49Speaker 6: Okay, what do you think I was?
- 20:52Speaker 3: I think this is the Like I enjoyed this Golden
- 20:55Speaker 3: Globes more than any in the past, like five years,
- 20:58Speaker 3: anyone else.
- 20:59Speaker 2: I can't remember the past five years, but I do
- 21:01Speaker 2: remember last year being good, and I liked that better
- 21:04Speaker 2: than this year.
- 21:05Speaker 4: I would agree with that.
- 21:07Speaker 1: It just lags in the middle. There's a big stretch
- 21:09Speaker 1: in the middle where you're just like, oh boy, it's
- 21:11Speaker 1: a whole bunch of awards in a row that I
- 21:12Speaker 1: don't care about.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Yes, I understand, Yes, Yeah.
- 21:16Speaker 1: I thought Nikki was great. I feel like thesh. I
- 21:20Speaker 1: don't know, I've seen a lot more of the stuff.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I feel like, Yes, I.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Feel like I've seen a lot of the shows that
- 21:24Speaker 3: were nominated this year, Like I felt more in the new.
- 21:27Speaker 2: But what if we think about the football announcer commentators
- 21:31Speaker 2: in between awards and whatnot?
- 21:33Speaker 3: Genius? How has it taken them eighty three years to
- 21:38Speaker 3: come up with this?
- 21:40Speaker 2: I will say I posted about this and I was like,
- 21:43Speaker 2: I'm really distracted by it, and I'm curious if anyone's
- 21:47Speaker 2: enjoying it. So I would say I got hundreds of
- 21:52Speaker 2: replies I would say I read that. I saw maybe five,
- 21:58Speaker 2: including Tanya's, that said they liked it. No, I'm not kidding.
- 22:02Speaker 2: And it wasn't just like, oh, I'm indifferent. It was like,
- 22:04Speaker 2: I literally hate it. I'm so distracted. This is taken
- 22:07Speaker 2: away from like, okay, respect of the Golden globes.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Okay, So if I may, I like that they had
- 22:17Speaker 3: the announcers. However, when they had the announcers on top
- 22:22Speaker 3: of the applause and all the like the commotion in
- 22:25Speaker 3: the room, it was like all sensory overload. So I
- 22:28Speaker 3: wish that when they were talking they would pod themselves
- 22:32Speaker 3: up and pod the room down.
- 22:34Speaker 4: It was pot by the way, you've had a radio
- 22:35Speaker 4: for twenty years.
- 22:37Speaker 2: I was like, I don't know what she's talking about.
- 22:39Speaker 2: And it wasn't even the right term whatever.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Okay, so turn the sound of the commentators up and
- 22:44Speaker 3: the sound of the room weighed down, so that there's
- 22:47Speaker 3: like I just felt like they were the same level
- 22:49Speaker 3: of audio.
- 22:50Speaker 1: And so I was like, ah, if anyone didn't see
- 22:52Speaker 1: the Golden globe, it's basically they had two people announcing
- 22:55Speaker 1: rather than one voice of God announce.
- 22:57Speaker 4: So they had two people almost like a sports cast.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like a football game.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Uh. And so they really jumped in when somebody would
- 23:04Speaker 4: in the winter.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Is whatever whoever, But normally she.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Was smart for hacks and as she gets up, it's
- 23:11Speaker 1: like a it's a good forty five.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Yes, I'm just boring, clapping right.
- 23:15Speaker 1: That's when they jumped in and said, hey, it's a
- 23:17Speaker 1: third nomination. Hey do you think she'll think her daughter? Hey,
- 23:19Speaker 1: you think she'll think hana Einbinder?
- 23:21Speaker 4: Hey? Next she was just sheating they're doing season two.
- 23:23Speaker 4: It's gonna be out in a chair or whatever. I
- 23:26Speaker 4: didn't mind. I thought it was kind of informative.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, that forty five seconds when they walked
- 23:30Speaker 3: to the podium is the most boring forty five seconds.
- 23:33Speaker 2: I'm like, I was watching like the MTV Movie Awards,
- 23:37Speaker 2: Like it felt like very casual, and I feel like
- 23:39Speaker 2: Golden Globes is so elevated and like prestigious that it
- 23:43Speaker 2: made it it kind of like dumbed it down a
- 23:44Speaker 2: little bit to me, Like it felt like a football game.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Interesting, and I feel like maybe they were saying maybe
- 23:50Speaker 3: it's what they're we're saying a little bit, because I
- 23:52Speaker 3: do feel like I would have I would have liked.
- 23:55Speaker 3: I like the commenting of like this is her first
- 23:57Speaker 3: Golden Globe win, she's been nominated five times. Like I
- 24:00Speaker 3: like the fast facts. I could have used a little
- 24:02Speaker 3: less of the like Kylie Kardashian stuff.
- 24:06Speaker 6: He's like, he's like, do you think he's gonna think
- 24:08Speaker 6: his part? I'm like, what is this?
- 24:10Speaker 2: He just want a Golden Globe And we're wondering if
- 24:12Speaker 2: he's gonna think Kyle.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Took it as that's a long, boring walk and people
- 24:16Speaker 1: have no have zero attention span these days. Let's just
- 24:21Speaker 1: keep them. Let's tease what they may talk about. It's
- 24:23Speaker 1: like old school radio teasing to me.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I loved it. It was just the audios were
- 24:30Speaker 3: both very loud, so at some points I was like
- 24:32Speaker 3: short circuiting.
- 24:33Speaker 2: I was like, and then the music and like none
- 24:35Speaker 2: of the music felt like it matched the moment it was.
- 24:37Speaker 6: It was kind of bizarre to me.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I feel like the whole thing was like just taking
- 24:41Speaker 2: down a level from what it's supposed to be.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Yeah, it's giving like we're it's our eighty third show,
- 24:49Speaker 3: like we're eighty three, but we're trying to be gen Z.
- 24:52Speaker 6: But they were only millennial.
- 24:54Speaker 5: They only god, they only.
- 24:55Speaker 4: Got so far.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I yeah, I understand.
- 24:58Speaker 2: I see your perspec was like, it was music that
- 25:00Speaker 2: I like, it was music I listened to, but it
- 25:02Speaker 2: just didn't fit.
- 25:03Speaker 3: I'm like, did you notice every time it came back
- 25:05Speaker 3: to Nikki Glazer that she had a different Taylor Swift
- 25:07Speaker 3: song introducing her. It was Style in the beginning, and
- 25:11Speaker 3: then it was fadeo Ophelia, and then it was I
- 25:14Speaker 3: can't remember what the other one was. But every time
- 25:15Speaker 3: she like came back from like a commercial or whatever,
- 25:18Speaker 3: it was a Taylor Swift song.
- 25:19Speaker 4: I did notice that, because she's a massive thing.
- 25:21Speaker 3: I cocked it. I was like, that's cute.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I think she does a great job. I really like
- 25:25Speaker 2: her as a host.
- 25:26Speaker 3: It's so funny that nobody that a lot of people
- 25:28Speaker 3: didn't like that. Oh wait, you know what's something that
- 25:29Speaker 3: people brought up that I've always been curious about That
- 25:32Speaker 3: you do and I don't understand why. But so there's
- 25:36Speaker 3: like a when you're on Instagram, there's an option to
- 25:38Speaker 3: give like a questions box, and you ask a lot
- 25:41Speaker 3: of questions, but you don't give the question box.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Because the question box limits how much they can put
- 25:47Speaker 2: in the answer.
- 25:48Speaker 3: So you want people to have free rein to say
- 25:50Speaker 3: however long, however lengthy response they want. Well, there you go, everybody.
- 25:55Speaker 3: I don't.
- 25:55Speaker 2: I just like think of think of questions, and I
- 25:58Speaker 2: just like take a black screen and write it in there.
- 26:01Speaker 3: And I don't like the box in there.
- 26:03Speaker 6: I know, but then it limits how much space.
- 26:05Speaker 3: They Okay, so you want people to be able to
- 26:07Speaker 3: express themsells Okay, yeah, okay.
- 26:10Speaker 2: It's just a creative freedom for myself and the people.
- 26:14Speaker 3: So I also feel like I was very emotionally invested
- 26:19Speaker 3: in the Golden Globes more than I ever have been before,
- 26:21Speaker 3: because I'm like the Beast in Me was like my
- 26:24Speaker 3: favorite show of all time. So I was just like
- 26:26Speaker 3: rooting for it so much in every category, and I
- 26:29Speaker 3: found myself being pissed off that they were like not
- 26:34Speaker 3: giving it to the people I wanted to, and then
- 26:36Speaker 3: it was going to people who had a picture box
- 26:38Speaker 3: and weren't even there. I know that bothered me too
- 26:40Speaker 3: so much that I think that we need to write
- 26:43Speaker 3: in and say, if you are not here to accept
- 26:45Speaker 3: your Golden Globe, you don't get to win. And it
- 26:48Speaker 3: goes to the second person in live like, I'm sorry,
- 26:51Speaker 3: if you're not going to show up, you don't get
- 26:53Speaker 3: your Golden Globe, get your ass to the show.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Yes, I can't do that. We like at least three
- 26:59Speaker 4: you didn't win it, that's it.
- 27:00Speaker 2: There's a lot of sickness going around, So I do
- 27:02Speaker 2: hope that those people that weren't there were either either
- 27:05Speaker 2: working on a set somewhere far away or they were like,
- 27:08Speaker 2: I'm sick and I don't want to get other people sick.
- 27:10Speaker 5: And it was.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Award shows that do that people's choice. But the Golden
- 27:14Speaker 1: Globes are prestigious enough that you either win it or
- 27:16Speaker 1: you don't.
- 27:17Speaker 3: There was a lot though, there was yeah, maybe even
- 27:20Speaker 3: just because there were so many that it felt like
- 27:23Speaker 3: another box, just like I was just so.
- 27:26Speaker 2: It's nicely because the talent was like so competitive.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Yeah, and they were also and I'm just like Matthew
- 27:33Speaker 3: Reese is just sitting there.
- 27:36Speaker 6: He didn't win more.
- 27:37Speaker 2: He's so good, he's so Adolescents took all the all
- 27:42Speaker 2: the awards last years. Oh, because I just am like,
- 27:47Speaker 2: I feel like adolescents already had their award moment.
- 27:50Speaker 3: They did not they did yeah, yeah, they like swept
- 27:54Speaker 3: and swept and even last night they yeah, and I
- 27:57Speaker 3: found myself being like, a goodness, Oh, I've never seen it,
- 28:01Speaker 3: so I can't judge. I didn't watch it, did either
- 28:03Speaker 3: of you.
- 28:04Speaker 6: I tried.
- 28:05Speaker 2: I was a little bored, but Haley was like, it
- 28:07Speaker 2: was amazing, one of the best shows I've ever seen.
- 28:09Speaker 3: So I just found myself being so upset for like
- 28:12Speaker 3: Matthew Reese and Claire Danes and just kind of like,
- 28:17Speaker 3: all my peeps, yeah, all my peeps that were there.
- 28:20Speaker 6: Did you watch Heated Rivalry?
- 28:25Speaker 3: You name it? I think I've watched all of TV
- 28:28Speaker 3: in the last three weeks.
- 28:29Speaker 6: Like there's no shows left to watch shows.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Robbie and I there was a show that came out
- 28:34Speaker 3: on Netflix, I believe Sunday we watched the whole thing.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Woww Netflix recommended for you go outside?
- 28:46Speaker 3: Yeah, touch grass, please stop here to take some so
- 28:52Speaker 3: on your face.
- 28:55Speaker 6: You've watched all the shows that we have available.
- 28:59Speaker 3: I think we're out of So that's kind of where we're.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Some of your favorites that you'd recommend for people to watch.
- 29:06Speaker 3: I loved His and Hers. Have you watched it?
- 29:08Speaker 6: I felt it to be very slow.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Okay, So Robbie didn't love it the first episode.
- 29:13Speaker 6: But yeah, we got when you like episode four.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Oh my gosh's.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Six soapy, soapy, And then Haley was like, I don't
- 29:21Speaker 2: even want to watch anymore now, and someone said, oh
- 29:24Speaker 2: my gosh, the twist is crazy at the end.
- 29:25Speaker 6: So we just googled it, which was.
- 29:27Speaker 2: A crazy thing.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Wow.
- 29:29Speaker 2: We googler just didn't care hours to finish.
- 29:34Speaker 3: That's two hours of do you want to know what's crazy?
- 29:37Speaker 6: On my phone.
- 29:40Speaker 3: We were watching it until like I think it was
- 29:42Speaker 3: eleven thirty, and we like to go to bed at ten,
- 29:44Speaker 3: but we were so sucked in and like, we're on
- 29:46Speaker 3: the last episode, just see who the killer is and
- 29:48Speaker 3: then we'll go to sleep. So within the first fifteen
- 29:51Speaker 3: minutes you find out. I was like, let's just go
- 29:53Speaker 3: to sleep and we'll finish in the morning. So we
- 29:55Speaker 3: go to sleep. The next morning we wake up to
- 29:57Speaker 3: just finish it. We're like, oh, it's kind of a
- 29:58Speaker 3: lot left, Like what are they do It's a completely
- 30:02Speaker 3: different person. Wow, So we like totally missed the ending.
- 30:07Speaker 3: But when we just s went to sleep thinking we
- 30:09Speaker 3: knew the killer, and then we woke up and it
- 30:10Speaker 3: was a different killer.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Twist and turned till the very end. Yeah, but the
- 30:15Speaker 2: ending that we read about was insane.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Yeah, crazy, So we really loved his and hers. We
- 30:19Speaker 3: watched all of Stranger Things from top to bottom, which
- 30:23Speaker 3: I thoroughly enjoyed.
- 30:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 1: You went from E one S one all the way through. Yeah,
- 30:29Speaker 1: my god, that is ambitious.
- 30:31Speaker 3: And timed it out to the point where, like on
- 30:33Speaker 3: Christmas Day when they dropped the three episodes, we were
- 30:36Speaker 3: caught up and to watch those three, watch those on
- 30:38Speaker 3: Christmas Day, and then watched the last one on this day.
- 30:42Speaker 4: It came out very admirable.
- 30:45Speaker 1: My only complain about Stranger Things was I don't need
- 30:47Speaker 1: that much epilogue. Like the show ended and then there
- 30:49Speaker 1: was forty minutes left, and like, come on, and sure enough,
- 30:52Speaker 1: it's forty minutes that I didn't need.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Yeah, it was too much. Yeah, no spoilers. It's great.
- 30:57Speaker 4: It could have wrapped up faster, quicker, it's not. That's fine.
- 31:00Speaker 3: My entire algorithm now is like all these different theories
- 31:04Speaker 3: of all kinds of things, and I'm like, I'm so dumb.
- 31:07Speaker 3: I don't even understand these like broken down the theories
- 31:10Speaker 3: that people are posting on Instagram.
- 31:12Speaker 6: They're like, let me break this down for you, and
- 31:13Speaker 6: you're like, break it down.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I don't think I could tell you who the bad
- 31:17Speaker 1: guy was because there were so many bad guys.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I know there was. There was the guy Henry Henry, Yeah,
- 31:27Speaker 3: and the Flare the slayer Flair.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Was.
- 31:32Speaker 4: Yeah, there's so many bad guys. I'm not even sure
- 31:35Speaker 4: who it was.
- 31:35Speaker 3: And then they beat the one bad guy. I'm like,
- 31:37Speaker 3: where were the other bad guys? Like they all just
- 31:39Speaker 3: died too. Yeah, there's a lot. Wow, I would recommend.
- 31:44Speaker 2: I don't love like well, I heard it scary.
- 31:47Speaker 3: It was scary to me, but not like sci fi.
- 31:51Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not horror.
- 31:52Speaker 3: But I don't love fi me either.
- 31:55Speaker 2: You like a lot of things that I'm trying to
- 31:57Speaker 2: watch and it's just not my style. So that's a lot.
- 32:00Speaker 6: Of commitment for something that I'm not sure about.
- 32:03Speaker 3: I just feel like Stranger Things was such a pop
- 32:05Speaker 3: culture moment that I wanted to be a part of.
- 32:07Speaker 3: I wanted to be on the inn. And now I'm like,
- 32:10Speaker 3: I'm in you did it, Yeah, I did it.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:12Speaker 6: It's like finishing a puzzle. Yes I did two.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Of Yeah, yeah, I did one puzzle in like five hours.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Wow.
- 32:19Speaker 2: I was locked in and then Haley Haley did her
- 32:22Speaker 2: first puzzle. She was I've never done a puzzle because
- 32:24Speaker 2: I get too overwhelmed.
- 32:25Speaker 3: In her life.
- 32:26Speaker 6: That's what she says. I let her put the last.
- 32:29Speaker 4: That's the trend, right grandma hobbies.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Yes, it's trending right now, Grandma Hoby. Grandma hobbies like
- 32:34Speaker 3: stitching and knitting and puzzle.
- 32:37Speaker 6: Like grandma hobby.
- 32:38Speaker 4: Yeah, like offline stuff.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Yeah, love a puzzle. I love a crossorder.
- 32:44Speaker 4: I'm with you on crosswords.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Have you guys watched Traders?
- 32:47Speaker 1: Yes?
- 32:48Speaker 3: Are you caught up?
- 32:49Speaker 4: Yes?
- 32:51Speaker 3: Do you know that? I thought that they only put
- 32:53Speaker 3: one show, one episode out like I thought it was
- 32:55Speaker 3: just wait one a time. And I was like, we
- 32:57Speaker 3: didn't get a round table, we didn't get the I
- 32:59Speaker 3: was like, we get any of this, And then Robbie goes,
- 33:01Speaker 3: there's two more episodes.
- 33:02Speaker 6: I was like, yeah, we were excited too.
- 33:04Speaker 2: I thought there was only going to be two episodes,
- 33:06Speaker 2: and then there was three episodes.
- 33:09Speaker 6: Let's do a spoiler warning.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe, and.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Then maybe we'll come back with it, because just to
- 33:17Speaker 3: give people if they don't want to be spoiled on Traders,
- 33:19Speaker 3: just like a band with like.
- 33:21Speaker 6: But we're going to come back with spoilers.
- 33:23Speaker 3: So coming back with some spoilers.
- 33:24Speaker 5: Okay, we're back, We're back. Okay.
- 33:45Speaker 3: So spoiler alert for Traders. Spoiler alert.
- 33:48Speaker 2: So the way the season started was that for the
- 33:52Speaker 2: first time ever, they chose a Trader that the audience
- 33:56Speaker 2: didn't know who it was.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Yeah, right out the gate, Like they get out of
- 33:59Speaker 3: the car and they are all shown a box and
- 34:04Speaker 3: inside one of the boxes was a Trader card. So
- 34:07Speaker 3: they're all like, they basically all have to face they
- 34:10Speaker 3: have to face the rest of the the what do
- 34:12Speaker 3: you already call them cast? Yeah, Alan opens the box
- 34:17Speaker 3: and the box shows them if they're the Trader or
- 34:19Speaker 3: if it's just an empty box. So you can see
- 34:21Speaker 3: a lot you're supposed to be, like, see their facial expressions,
- 34:24Speaker 3: like read it off of that. Yeah, I called it,
- 34:29Speaker 3: you did. I knew the Secret Trader the minute it
- 34:32Speaker 3: was showing.
- 34:33Speaker 2: The problem was that I felt like when I thought
- 34:36Speaker 2: it was her, but it was so obvious to me
- 34:39Speaker 2: that it would like, I was like, they're not going
- 34:40Speaker 2: to choose her because she feels like an obvious choice
- 34:42Speaker 2: for the Secret Trader.
- 34:43Speaker 3: I knew that they were a spoiler alert I knew
- 34:46Speaker 3: they were going to make Donna Kelce a trader no
- 34:49Speaker 3: matter what. She is, hands down, I think the most
- 34:53Speaker 3: famous person on that cast, and not so much famous,
- 34:56Speaker 3: but she's the most well known. Everybody knows Donna Kelce,
- 35:00Speaker 3: do you know what I mean? All the rest of
- 35:01Speaker 3: them are very niche. If you watch Survivor, you know
- 35:03Speaker 3: those four. If you watch Big Brother, you watch you
- 35:05Speaker 3: know those four? If you know what I mean, Like,
- 35:07Speaker 3: they're all very niche. Where I feel like Donna Kelce
- 35:09Speaker 3: was just like widely known.
- 35:12Speaker 2: A lot of people feel like she was just cast
- 35:14Speaker 2: to draw people in who have never watched the show.
- 35:17Speaker 6: But she was never gonna stay for that long.
- 35:20Speaker 3: She was a horrible trader.
- 35:21Speaker 6: She was like, oh bad sing.
- 35:24Speaker 2: I think they chose her knowing that, Like she wasn't
- 35:27Speaker 2: gonna last long.
- 35:28Speaker 3: But I was having this debate with Robbie because I'm like,
- 35:31Speaker 3: she was such a bad trader. I knew they were
- 35:34Speaker 3: gonna make her trader, But then why didn't they just
- 35:36Speaker 3: make her like a really sweet, faithful that would just
- 35:39Speaker 3: like ride it till the end? Do you know what
- 35:40Speaker 3: I mean? Like, nobody's gonna.
- 35:41Speaker 6: Think she wanted to stay till like I think.
- 35:43Speaker 2: I was just like, hey, will you come to Scotland
- 35:45Speaker 2: and film like three episodes. It'll be three days and
- 35:49Speaker 2: then you get to go home. But they could use
- 35:51Speaker 2: her name as promotion because people, a lot of people
- 35:54Speaker 2: were like I literally tuned.
- 35:55Speaker 6: In just to watch Donna Kelsey.
- 35:57Speaker 3: So Robbi and I had like a debate going. I
- 35:59Speaker 3: thought it was Donnie Kelsey, the Secret Trader. He thought
- 36:01Speaker 3: it was jam Jam.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Oh that's who we thought. We were going between him too.
- 36:05Speaker 3: Robbie was like convinced it was jam Jam And then
- 36:07Speaker 3: at the round tables he was just like Donna's not
- 36:10Speaker 3: saying like I'm a faithful, I'm a faithful, I'm a
- 36:13Speaker 3: faithful Like she was just like chilling, chilling. I was like,
- 36:17Speaker 3: stand up Donna, like fight, there was a fight.
- 36:20Speaker 6: Let him get me, Yeah, she's a let him guess.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:24Speaker 6: I feel like it's gonna be a good season.
- 36:26Speaker 3: I think it's gonna be such a good season. The
- 36:29Speaker 3: Traders that they have, the three remaining, I guess are
- 36:32Speaker 3: so good.
- 36:34Speaker 6: Yeah, I think it'll be good.
- 36:36Speaker 3: And like this this there's this girl on there. Her
- 36:38Speaker 3: name is Natalie. She's from like the Survivor world and
- 36:41Speaker 3: she's a beast, like I feel like she's gonna be
- 36:42Speaker 3: a like I think she's gonna be a twin. Yes, okay,
- 36:46Speaker 3: the survivor.
- 36:47Speaker 2: The survivors are intense when they come in. Yes, there's
- 36:51Speaker 2: like an energy of like we're here to win.
- 36:53Speaker 6: But they're so good I know, so I'm saying though
- 36:55Speaker 6: you can feel it.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Yeah, they're competitors and they're like ready to to trick
- 37:01Speaker 2: people and win, do what they need to do.
- 37:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd kill them off first too. I'd be like murder.
- 37:09Speaker 2: So what did you think of Peter? I don't really
- 37:12Speaker 2: have a person I'm rooting for yet.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Oh interesting, I'm still getting to know some of the
- 37:16Speaker 3: people in there.
- 37:18Speaker 6: What did you think of Heated Rivalry?
- 37:21Speaker 5: So?
- 37:22Speaker 3: I loved it at the end. In the beginning, I
- 37:26Speaker 3: was like, I don't know if I can watch this.
- 37:28Speaker 3: It was very, very X rated for me.
- 37:32Speaker 5: So he did.
- 37:32Speaker 4: Rivalry is the show everyone's talking about.
- 37:34Speaker 1: It's about two rival hockey players, two male rival hockey
- 37:37Speaker 1: players who fall in love.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Yes, okay, and you watch it first, Yeah, and you
- 37:42Speaker 3: loved it? Well, we Haley and I were for your recommendation. First.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Haley and I were watching in the first couple of
- 37:50Speaker 2: episodes because there is a lot of gay sex and
- 37:55Speaker 2: we were just like sitting there, like staring at each other.
- 38:01Speaker 3: I think it's like porn. It's like it's very very aggressive, heavy,
- 38:05Speaker 3: heavy sex heavy.
- 38:07Speaker 2: But as the storyline started to develop, I was like,
- 38:11Speaker 2: oh my gosh, like I I like love this.
- 38:13Speaker 6: And then episode five was amazing, which.
- 38:17Speaker 3: One was Episode five, no spoilers.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Just I went at the end, they're watching the TV
- 38:23Speaker 2: and there.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, okay, so yeah, So I watched it per
- 38:27Speaker 3: year because like, I'm watching this show he did whatever.
- 38:30Speaker 3: And then I kept seeing everybody online posting about it.
- 38:32Speaker 3: I was like, oh, let me check this show out.
- 38:33Speaker 3: In the first episode, I was like whoa, Like yeah,
- 38:38Speaker 3: not necessarily my cup of tea because I don't even
- 38:41Speaker 3: I don't really I don't like porn, right, so like
- 38:44Speaker 3: you know what I mean. Like, I was like, this
- 38:45Speaker 3: is I don't know, this might not be for me.
- 38:48Speaker 3: But then I watched I started I was able to
- 38:51Speaker 3: see what they were doing, and I was very interested
- 38:54Speaker 3: in that storyline and that I thought it was very compelling.
- 39:01Speaker 3: And then they bring in some other.
- 39:03Speaker 5: That threw me off.
- 39:05Speaker 3: And I was also really high on like pain meds
- 39:08Speaker 3: in the first few episodes, so I wasn't sure like experience, Yeah,
- 39:11Speaker 3: it was quite experience. So then the other people threw
- 39:15Speaker 3: me off. I was like, what does this all have
- 39:17Speaker 3: to do with each other? But then as you keep going,
- 39:20Speaker 3: like the story, the lod story is so interesting and
- 39:24Speaker 3: so compelling, and I don't want to give any spoilers away,
- 39:30Speaker 3: but like the way it all unfolded was also very
- 39:33Speaker 3: beautiful and like made me cry. Yeah, were you when
- 39:37Speaker 3: you were watching it? Did you relate at all to
- 39:40Speaker 3: either of them?
- 39:41Speaker 2: Well? Yeah, I mean, well I think relate. I think
- 39:43Speaker 2: that's why it was so important. Like obviously the folks
- 39:47Speaker 2: a lot of people are focusing on how much sex
- 39:48Speaker 2: is in the show, but I think the storyline of
- 39:51Speaker 2: not being able to publicly love who you want to love,
- 39:55Speaker 2: I think is really relatable to anyone who's at any
- 39:58Speaker 2: point come.
- 39:58Speaker 6: Out some I've hit Yeah yeah.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Not even an athlete, but then especially being on.
- 40:05Speaker 2: A public platform, I felt it was so relatable in
- 40:08Speaker 2: the sense that you're like trying to live your life
- 40:11Speaker 2: and you're trying to share who you are, but there's
- 40:14Speaker 2: this huge part of you that like people don't know
- 40:17Speaker 2: about it. It's such an important and like beautiful part
- 40:20Speaker 2: of you, and so I just I'm so grateful that
- 40:24Speaker 2: it's so popular, because a lot of queer shows get
- 40:27Speaker 2: canceled after one season, and this one just has like
- 40:30Speaker 2: you know, everyone's talking about it.
- 40:32Speaker 3: I can't believe it ended where it did. I was like, wow,
- 40:36Speaker 3: that's all we get.
- 40:36Speaker 2: But it was such like a heartfelt, hopeful ending, which
- 40:39Speaker 2: a lot of queer shows and movies don't.
- 40:42Speaker 6: You don't get that.
- 40:42Speaker 2: It's always tragic or like ends in devastation, and you're like,
- 40:46Speaker 2: is there anything hopeful to be able to live my
- 40:50Speaker 2: life truthfully and see it on portrayed on TV or movies?
- 40:54Speaker 3: You know?
- 40:54Speaker 6: I I love that.
- 40:55Speaker 3: I found that part when one of the hot players,
- 41:00Speaker 3: when you know, he's like kind of coming to terms
- 41:02Speaker 3: with the fact that he is gay and kind of
- 41:06Speaker 3: thinking about like these brands and he's like the face
- 41:09Speaker 3: of and stuff like that. And I feel like I
- 41:10Speaker 3: remember early on with you, you were like having these
- 41:14Speaker 3: same things because you were like people got to know
- 41:17Speaker 3: me as this like virgin girl.
- 41:21Speaker 6: Trying to marry a man.
- 41:22Speaker 3: Yeah, and like I'm now, this is my brand, this
- 41:26Speaker 3: is who I am, Like and if now I'm somebody different,
- 41:29Speaker 3: Like are all those people just gonna hate me?
- 41:31Speaker 2: Now?
- 41:32Speaker 3: Like it? And see, like it's just it's such a
- 41:35Speaker 3: crazy thing.
- 41:37Speaker 2: Well, it's so crazy that people and that I people
- 41:42Speaker 2: have to think about that, right, and that that that
- 41:46Speaker 2: falling in love with someone comes with this turmoil of
- 41:50Speaker 2: like will I be accepted?
- 41:51Speaker 6: Will they still love me? Will they still want to
- 41:53Speaker 6: work with me?
- 41:54Speaker 2: It's right, it's I think seeing it portrayed like that
- 41:58Speaker 2: and in such a big way, with so many people
- 42:00Speaker 2: talking about it, it's just an important conversation. I'm glad
- 42:03Speaker 2: that it's something that people are seeing. But also with
- 42:05Speaker 2: this like really fun you know these two fun actors
- 42:10Speaker 2: who we've been introduced to and they're like funny in
- 42:13Speaker 2: interviews and.
- 42:14Speaker 6: Very unhinged and not media trail.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Yeah, no one of them. What's his name? I forget
- 42:22Speaker 3: his fir name story Connor. He was waiting tables in
- 42:27Speaker 3: Clover City.
- 42:28Speaker 2: I know before he got like just like big break.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Yeah, who knew, Like it's a Canadian show, so he
- 42:34Speaker 1: probably was like, ah, this Canadian show and has a
- 42:38Speaker 1: job's job.
- 42:40Speaker 4: Globes.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Yeah, but I don't I'm not familiar with are there
- 42:45Speaker 3: a lot of gay men in hockey or is that
- 42:48Speaker 3: like a very I think thing.
- 42:51Speaker 2: I think there's only been one public public publicly out
- 42:57Speaker 2: professional hockey player.
- 42:59Speaker 3: Really Okay, so it's like even more.
- 43:03Speaker 6: In that sports in general, it's very closeted.
- 43:06Speaker 1: And I think the only baseball players have come out
- 43:08Speaker 1: did so long after their careers were over.
- 43:11Speaker 2: In football, I think there's like two, Like I remember
- 43:15Speaker 2: one guy came out like years ago. I don't know
- 43:17Speaker 2: if there's very Yeah, it's very rare.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Wow.
- 43:21Speaker 6: Yeah, speaking of sports.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Tomorrow night, I'm starting to play in this like I
- 43:28Speaker 2: don't even think it's a league, but like a group
- 43:30Speaker 2: of like to play basketball weekly with these girls.
- 43:36Speaker 6: You know, I love basketball.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but I've been wanting to find a league, but
- 43:39Speaker 2: I don't want.
- 43:39Speaker 3: To like, where did you find this league?
- 43:41Speaker 2: So a girl that worked on my management team, Kate,
- 43:44Speaker 2: her girlfriend plays on this team, and so she posted
- 43:48Speaker 2: herself playing.
- 43:49Speaker 3: She like, no, I was just like, where do you play?
- 43:53Speaker 6: Is this like a league? And so she responded to me,
- 43:55Speaker 6: you guys, I haven't played.
- 43:56Speaker 3: I haven't.
- 43:57Speaker 6: First of all, I haven't exercised in like six months.
- 44:01Speaker 2: I really like I I was a cardio. I'm so excited,
- 44:05Speaker 2: but I'm just stretching. Now have you started yet?
- 44:08Speaker 3: No?
- 44:08Speaker 2: Tomorrow night.
- 44:09Speaker 4: Oh, it was my first night, first practice, first game,
- 44:11Speaker 4: my first.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Game into a game.
- 44:14Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not like it's not like a league.
- 44:16Speaker 3: It's not like we're practicing just like pick up basketball.
- 44:19Speaker 3: Basic A lot of questions. It's not live stream it.
- 44:22Speaker 3: It's Tuesday night. The game is Tuesday night. The games, yeah,
- 44:26Speaker 3: in the night time or the indoor outdoor indoor where.
- 44:30Speaker 6: Like a church gym or something picturing.
- 44:31Speaker 4: Nobody wants this, yes.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay. And it's not like a
- 44:36Speaker 3: tournament's just like one other team.
- 44:38Speaker 2: So I think there's three teams of four. And then
- 44:42Speaker 2: so the way they do it's three teams of four
- 44:44Speaker 2: and you do it's called like king of the.
- 44:46Speaker 6: Court, which I've never I was like, I don't know
- 44:48Speaker 6: what that is, but I'll learn. You play to.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Seven and then whoever wins stays on and the next
- 44:53Speaker 2: team comes on and they play.
- 44:54Speaker 3: And you do this every Tuesday night. And then when
- 44:58Speaker 3: do you practice.
- 44:59Speaker 6: There's no practice.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Oh, I mean should practice on your own, but we
- 45:02Speaker 2: just go raw dog and go to the their jerseys.
- 45:05Speaker 3: Do you need like a team to bring like like orange,
- 45:10Speaker 3: like the Wildcats.
- 45:11Speaker 2: I don't think like I imagine it's one of those
- 45:14Speaker 2: things where whoever wants to play that week will be
- 45:17Speaker 2: like I don't know if it'll be the same the same.
- 45:20Speaker 6: Group of girls.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Do you know any of the other four on your
- 45:22Speaker 3: team tomorrow night? I just think your friends.
- 45:25Speaker 6: Ry, I just know Ray.
- 45:27Speaker 2: And then she was like, we also do Saturday mornings,
- 45:30Speaker 2: and I was like, I don't do some I don't
- 45:32Speaker 2: do Saturday morning exercise.
- 45:34Speaker 3: What time of night like six pm?
- 45:36Speaker 2: Or like okay, Hailey wants to come, but.
- 45:40Speaker 5: I don't want to come.
- 45:41Speaker 1: I just don't know if i'll lastrubbers the address until.
- 45:44Speaker 3: I don't think I'll be able to last till six
- 45:46Speaker 3: pm quite yet.
- 45:47Speaker 2: I got to see how I size up because I
- 45:50Speaker 2: don't know if these girls are like girls that played
- 45:51Speaker 2: in college and now they're just like playing for fun.
- 45:55Speaker 6: I'm high school. My level goes to high school.
- 45:58Speaker 4: I see no downside here. I think this is great.
- 46:00Speaker 4: I think the key to exercise is finding something you enjoy.
