- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is Jadge nine nine.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Welcome back to another episode of Unfiltered with Scotty and Abbey.
- 0:07Speaker 3: There's a lot to discuss.
- 0:09Speaker 2: I don't know if we're gonna be able to get
- 0:10Speaker 2: everything in today, but I do want to just immediately
- 0:13Speaker 2: start talking about how Abby you your mom and I
- 0:18Speaker 2: went out the first time I've ever gotten to meet
- 0:21Speaker 2: your mom. I got drunk in front of her. And
- 0:23Speaker 2: I bring this up now because I'll be honest. As
- 0:25Speaker 2: I was walking into the studio today, I started kind
- 0:27Speaker 2: of spiraling, and my spiraling.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Yes, because okay, we're going to talk.
- 0:32Speaker 2: About everything that we got up to that night. But
- 0:34Speaker 2: one of the things I started getting anxious about. Do
- 0:36Speaker 2: you ever do this? First off, like when you get
- 0:38Speaker 2: like you're a little hungover, you get anxious thoughts.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Oh like anxiety. Yes, yeah.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I started going through the worst of it yesterday as
- 0:44Speaker 2: I was like, what did I say in front of
- 0:46Speaker 2: your mom? How did I act in front of your mom?
- 0:48Speaker 2: It was the first time even got to say hello
- 0:49Speaker 2: to her. And now I'm like, wait a second, I
- 0:52Speaker 2: don't even turn up that often, and I turned up
- 0:55Speaker 2: to like level eight in front of your mom.
- 0:57Speaker 1: It's funny because your mom my mom probably likes you
- 0:59Speaker 1: more than me, right, so I'm in therapy.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Well, I mean it was a fun night.
- 1:05Speaker 2: It was an adventure I did not know I was
- 1:08Speaker 2: going into because you all hit me up in the
- 1:10Speaker 2: middle of Saturday, yeah to say, oh, by the way,
- 1:13Speaker 2: you're going out, And I already was planning on it,
- 1:15Speaker 2: but plans definitely took it to another level when I
- 1:18Speaker 2: knew that you all were going to be involved.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, my mom was in town this weekend and
- 1:22Speaker 1: I was hanging out with my family on Friday, and
- 1:24Speaker 1: literally the first thing, I like, barely sit down at
- 1:26Speaker 1: the table and my whole family goes, we don't want
- 1:28Speaker 1: to make Scotty. We listen to you guys every morning.
- 1:30Speaker 1: We want to eat Scutty. It was I looked Scuttie
- 1:32Speaker 1: like and I'm like, well, I can. I can text
- 1:34Speaker 1: him later this weekend, but I think he's like with
- 1:36Speaker 1: a lady. And so Saturday. I don't know what the
- 1:39Speaker 1: stars were aligning, the moon phases were, but I was
- 1:43Speaker 1: just we were day drinking all day and I had
- 1:45Speaker 1: the stamina to go out. So I text Scottie around
- 1:48Speaker 1: like two or three. We had been out in Channel
- 1:50Speaker 1: Side most of the day. We did this pilates class
- 1:53Speaker 1: at Sourci and then we went to lunch. We were
- 1:55Speaker 1: just walking around and my mom and I were sitting
- 1:57Speaker 1: there in Channel Side and as you do, because there's
- 2:00Speaker 1: not many bars, we were like, we don't know what
- 2:02Speaker 1: to do now. We're like, we don't want to go home.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you're having too much fun. Why would you end now?
- 2:07Speaker 1: Yeah, And so I was like, well, let me see
- 2:08Speaker 1: what Scotty's doing. So I text Scotty and Scotty's like, well,
- 2:11Speaker 1: I'm not going out until like eleven, And it's like
- 2:13Speaker 1: six pm. And my mom and I are at the
- 2:14Speaker 1: bar at Bulan and we're like that's not going to
- 2:17Speaker 1: work for us. So then Scotty's like, okay, well me,
- 2:19Speaker 1: well I can do nine thirty. And I was like, well,
- 2:20Speaker 1: we can do nine thirty. So then we met him
- 2:22Speaker 1: in Saint Pete and that was the start of the night.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Well.
- 2:25Speaker 2: I had so much fun because I don't usually go out,
- 2:29Speaker 2: Like this whole going out thing is very new to me.
- 2:31Speaker 2: You keep saying that I don't though, Like when I
- 2:34Speaker 2: was like, okay, one, I'm not really good late in
- 2:37Speaker 2: the night because I'm tired.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Yeah, we do this for a living.
- 2:40Speaker 2: And then two, I'm not the biggest like go out
- 2:42Speaker 2: and drink yeah kind of guy. So it's very spontaneous
- 2:45Speaker 2: of ooh, I'm vibing, let's go do it.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Yes.
- 2:48Speaker 3: But over like this.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Past couple months since i've been single, I've decided, let's
- 2:52Speaker 2: go out more. Let's go see what's happening, because it's
- 2:55Speaker 2: also a way to meet people. And what I wanted
- 2:58Speaker 2: to do is showcase some of the spots downtown Saint
- 3:00Speaker 2: Pete that I think would match your vibe, that I
- 3:03Speaker 2: think would change things up and also would be like
- 3:05Speaker 2: a curve ball. And so we started at this amazing
- 3:09Speaker 2: like craft cocktail restaurant right there. It's right by the
- 3:11Speaker 2: pier in Saint Pete. If you know, it's called a
- 3:13Speaker 2: Lei Loo. I've never been to a le Loo, but
- 3:15Speaker 2: I was like, I think your mom would vibe with
- 3:17Speaker 2: this because I really liked, Yeah, that's like the move.
- 3:20Speaker 2: And I think I've said it before. If I'm going
- 3:22Speaker 2: to get a drink, I wanted to be a good drink.
- 3:24Speaker 2: I wanted to be craft made good bartender unique, and
- 3:27Speaker 2: it was like this gin drink with like a little
- 3:30Speaker 2: olive oil on top.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Immediately I knew we're off to a good start.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought you were making the mistake when you
- 3:36Speaker 1: asked for the extra virgin cocktail.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I was like, that's not Scottie, No, no, no, leave
- 3:41Speaker 3: me alone. Let me live my life, okay.
- 3:43Speaker 2: And so we kicked off the night, and I'm so
- 3:45Speaker 2: curious on the debrief that you and your mom had
- 3:48Speaker 2: because we went out to a bar that I've never
- 3:51Speaker 2: been to.
- 3:51Speaker 3: It's called Welcome to the Farm.
- 3:53Speaker 2: And you know what, this is gonna be the podcast
- 3:54Speaker 2: I have grievances for because I just have complaints.
- 3:59Speaker 3: I was so see half of the night because.
- 4:01Speaker 2: We go to Welcome to the Farm and immediately gotta
- 4:05Speaker 2: pay a cover to get in.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Oh, we didn't even talk about that on the live
- 4:10Speaker 1: show today.
- 4:11Speaker 3: I know.
- 4:11Speaker 2: It's it's honestly something that like, I'm weirdly upset about this.
- 4:15Speaker 3: I was bringing it up in my roommate.
- 4:16Speaker 2: He's like, dude, of course they're gonna have guys pay
- 4:18Speaker 2: extra to get in.
- 4:19Speaker 1: No, but I still think that it is kind of
- 4:20Speaker 1: messed up.
- 4:21Speaker 3: I did too.
- 4:22Speaker 2: And then on top of it all, right here we go. Yeah,
- 4:24Speaker 2: totally a positive person. When they made me tip after
- 4:27Speaker 2: I already gave ten dollars to get into the bar.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Tip what I said?
- 4:31Speaker 2: Okay, you didn't see it, welcome to the farm. As
- 4:33Speaker 2: I walked in, I had to pay the mail fear. Yeah,
- 4:36Speaker 2: And then on the screen it was a tip screen.
- 4:39Speaker 2: I was gonna tip for paying extra.
- 4:42Speaker 1: That's so funny, was quick question right here? Yeah, I know, like, oh,
- 4:47Speaker 1: what's the question? Was I happy about paying this cover?
- 4:49Speaker 1: And it's just like one dollar, two dollars, three dollars.
- 4:52Speaker 2: It was the one time I said no. I literally
- 4:54Speaker 2: was so salty, like the girls holding a screen. I
- 4:56Speaker 2: was like, no tip, because who's that money going to?
- 4:59Speaker 2: And also why am I hipping that I'm paying money? Hell?
- 5:02Speaker 3: Did I get it to go into your bar?
- 5:03Speaker 1: You should have looked at the bouncer and said, here's
- 5:05Speaker 1: a timp. Why don't you charge the women too? It's
- 5:07Speaker 1: twenty twenty six.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Well, I just I hate I hate the cover charge.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I think it's the stupidest thing.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I do think it's very telling on the Saint Pete
- 5:14Speaker 1: going Out scene, though, because obviously there must be a
- 5:17Speaker 1: disproportionate ratio of men to women if they're making the
- 5:20Speaker 1: men pay to get in.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I think it's just trying to get us extra money
- 5:23Speaker 2: in their pocket, and I get it. But at the
- 5:26Speaker 2: same time, I'm like, that is and we did it
- 5:28Speaker 2: at the end of night. We're gonna get to the
- 5:29Speaker 2: end of the night. But it definitely had an effect
- 5:31Speaker 2: on like where we went afterwards, because I was like,
- 5:33Speaker 2: my whole thought to you, if you make me pay,
- 5:35Speaker 2: is like bleep you, yeah, bleep you damn you. And
- 5:37Speaker 2: now I gotta go buy a drink. So we hit
- 5:39Speaker 2: up Walking to the Farm and I've never been. It's
- 5:41Speaker 2: supposed to be like live music country. There's a lot
- 5:44Speaker 2: of people in there.
- 5:44Speaker 3: It's packed.
- 5:46Speaker 2: First off, that vibe alone. Did you like Abby so
- 5:50Speaker 2: because I'm not good in a crowd, did you catch
- 5:52Speaker 2: me like sardine? Yes, I'm itching to get out.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I've been to Welcome to the Farm once before, and
- 5:56Speaker 1: we had a good time when we were there because
- 5:58Speaker 1: they were playing live country music, which is my mom
- 6:00Speaker 1: and I's favorite thing. I will take her to country concerts.
- 6:03Speaker 1: One of my favorite trips is when we went to
- 6:04Speaker 1: Nashville and we just literally went to Honkey Talk after
- 6:08Speaker 1: Honky So I'm like, this is gonna be set up
- 6:09Speaker 1: for a good night. So we're standing there and there's
- 6:12Speaker 1: a stage at Welcome to the Farm, and I can
- 6:13Speaker 1: see if there's people on stage, and so they're playing
- 6:16Speaker 1: music or whatever, and I'm waiting for whatever band is
- 6:19Speaker 1: gonna get up and play to come play. And then
- 6:21Speaker 1: about ten minutes in ago, I don't I don't think
- 6:24Speaker 1: they're gonna think they're gonna play a band. And it'd
- 6:29Speaker 1: be one thing if they were playing Luke Combs remixes,
- 6:32Speaker 1: a Little Tucker we More, Riley Green. But they're playing
- 6:37Speaker 1: like all these random songs that I couldn't even name
- 6:40Speaker 1: one because none of them stuck out in my mind,
- 6:42Speaker 1: except for when they played Fetty Walpe.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, see when they played Fettiwap, everyone turned up,
- 6:46Speaker 2: but it was like a DJ, like you could get
- 6:47Speaker 2: that literal vibe at any other bar in Saint Pete.
- 6:51Speaker 2: But we're at the country bar, I know.
- 6:52Speaker 1: So I come to I go to Welcome to the
- 6:54Speaker 1: Farm to feel like I am at a farm.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I want to feel like a pig.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Otherwise the name it Welcome to Miami. That's right, let
- 7:00Speaker 1: me get on a horse, uh huh. But I felt
- 7:02Speaker 1: that way too, because then we were standing there at
- 7:04Speaker 1: Welcome to the Farm, and we're like, okay, we're not
- 7:06Speaker 1: going to get country music here you go. Oh the
- 7:08Speaker 1: other bar, one night stand is super country. We get
- 7:13Speaker 1: to one night stand, Lady Gaga is playing over the speakers.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I was very confused because usually anytime I've gone there,
- 7:19Speaker 2: it's been either a band or the DJ's playing like
- 7:22Speaker 2: majority country, couple pop songs here and there. But I
- 7:25Speaker 2: think it was the hour of the night. I think
- 7:27Speaker 2: they knew that it was just a young crowd. They
- 7:29Speaker 2: could play anything. They wanted to be pop, they wanted
- 7:31Speaker 2: to be upbeat to anybody's gonna dance.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Do you think it's because it's spring break.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I think it has something to do with it. I
- 7:36Speaker 2: think because it's a newer crowd and you want to
- 7:38Speaker 2: keep as many people in it.
- 7:39Speaker 3: You don't want to go too.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Because country is a weird I used to really like country,
- 7:44Speaker 2: and then you know what, they started to really sound
- 7:46Speaker 2: very similar. A lot of the songs just started to
- 7:48Speaker 2: just come out and just honestly sound like garbage.
- 7:51Speaker 1: There's a tractor.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I'm like, it's the same thing over and over again
- 7:55Speaker 2: every time. But a lot of people don't like country music.
- 7:57Speaker 2: And so if you're playing that in your bar, you're
- 7:58Speaker 2: gonna miss a lot of that crowd. And so they
- 8:01Speaker 2: just were playing pop music. What I do love like
- 8:03Speaker 2: your mom got major points with me, and I just
- 8:06Speaker 2: want to go with your mom over and over again.
- 8:09Speaker 1: She paid for all the drinks.
- 8:10Speaker 2: No, because everywhere we went, Abby's mom would be talking
- 8:14Speaker 2: to anybody in the bar. Hey, what are you doing here?
- 8:18Speaker 2: Oh my god, Abby and Scott they have a morning show.
- 8:20Speaker 2: You should check them out. Oh hey, the best person
- 8:24Speaker 2: to start a conversation with one meeting new people to
- 8:27Speaker 2: get listeners. But also, I'm telling you, I don't know
- 8:30Speaker 2: has your mom ever wing woman for you? Because I
- 8:32Speaker 2: feel like she could find either you a husband or
- 8:36Speaker 2: meal wife. Well, the way she starts conversations with everybody,
- 8:39Speaker 2: we had eyes on us at every bar we went to.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Really, yes, I wasn't even paying attention.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Oh god, I couldn't get enough because I was like,
- 8:45Speaker 2: this is insane. I thought I was a social person. Nope,
- 8:48Speaker 2: your mom's dancing with other people. Guys were coming up
- 8:50Speaker 2: and dancing.
- 8:51Speaker 3: With your mom.
- 8:52Speaker 2: And then I'm like, oh wow, that's an easy way
- 8:54Speaker 2: to be like in the guy world, you never want
- 8:56Speaker 2: to be like a weird guy like approaching women, but
- 8:59Speaker 2: women were naturally like just looking at us because we
- 9:01Speaker 2: have your amazing mom hanging with us, so automatically.
- 9:04Speaker 3: I look like a very safe guy.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:05Speaker 2: She's a buffer, yes, and she was so good at it.
- 9:08Speaker 2: It wasn't like a oh I don't. She had no
- 9:11Speaker 2: fear approaching anybody at any place that we went to.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:14Speaker 1: No, she is a good person to go out with
- 9:15Speaker 1: because she she's not one of those people that just
- 9:17Speaker 1: stands in the corner and goes, what should we do?
- 9:19Speaker 2: No, she got out on the dance floor and started
- 9:22Speaker 2: breaking it down, which I didn't know going into the night.
- 9:24Speaker 2: So as I was trying to plan out what spots
- 9:26Speaker 2: we were going to before I even met with you all, I'm.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Like, what is the vibe that Abby's mom wants?
- 9:31Speaker 2: And I'm so glad that it went that way because
- 9:33Speaker 2: I was like, oh, perfect, because this is where I
- 9:34Speaker 2: would have went anyway. Yeah, I'm not switching out my scene.
- 9:37Speaker 2: You all are just down to clown anywhere we go.
- 9:40Speaker 1: We are very down to clown.
- 9:41Speaker 2: I give kudos to your mother for that, because I
- 9:43Speaker 2: was very impressed. Word to my mother, word to your
- 9:45Speaker 2: mother because she went down and she got down even
- 9:47Speaker 2: with all the pop songs too. So then we go
- 9:50Speaker 2: from one night stand, we go and walk around to Oh,
- 9:53Speaker 2: Ruby's Elixir, this is where.
- 9:56Speaker 1: We went afterwards. No, that was the where did we
- 9:59Speaker 1: I feel like.
- 10:00Speaker 2: And hide an espresso martini, But that was like the
- 10:02Speaker 2: last spot twas Yes, but I have another grievance with
- 10:06Speaker 2: Ruby's Elixir because and I guess I'm in the wrong
- 10:09Speaker 2: for this one. Okay, because I wanted to go there
- 10:11Speaker 2: because two weeks ago I told you.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Like, that's where I went on my date.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Yes, we ended up there, We sang with the band,
- 10:17Speaker 2: we got drinks.
- 10:18Speaker 3: I also left my credit card there.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you were like, we have to go to Rubies.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I'm like, what's so great about Rubies? These like my
- 10:23Speaker 1: credit cards there. I'm like, scotti, it's been two weeks.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Your credit cards is not there.
- 10:26Speaker 3: But some places keep like a box of credit cards.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Now, okay, they shredded that thing. Well, I was really
- 10:32Speaker 2: banking on the fact that they would have it. I
- 10:33Speaker 2: guess I could order a new one. It's no big deal.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Here's my again, that's understandable. My grievance is the freaking
- 10:40Speaker 2: attitude that I got from the bartenders when I asked
- 10:43Speaker 2: for the credit card, because I was like, oh, ordered
- 10:46Speaker 2: some drinks. Like also, I was here two weeks ago
- 10:49Speaker 2: and I left a credit card here and they literally
- 10:51Speaker 2: looked at me in my face, laughed and said, dude, like,
- 10:54Speaker 2: there's no way we're going to get you that. The
- 10:57Speaker 2: other bartender walks up, he's like, yeah, unless you got
- 10:58Speaker 2: an extra hundred bucks to go of us. I'm like, guys, like,
- 11:01Speaker 2: just bleep off. You could just be cool and say,
- 11:03Speaker 2: you know, no, we don't have that, yeah, or you know,
- 11:06Speaker 2: come back in another time when it's not busy. That's understandable.
- 11:09Speaker 2: But I'm like, all right, this is where I get
- 11:12Speaker 2: a little sassy. I'm like, all right, you just lost
- 11:14Speaker 2: my business forever.
- 11:15Speaker 3: F you Ruby.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Even though I really liked that place. So I had
- 11:17Speaker 2: a good time, like singing with the band. Yeah, after
- 11:20Speaker 2: that though, it got fun because then we were sitting
- 11:22Speaker 2: by the bar, or were sitting by the band. They're singing,
- 11:25Speaker 2: and I want to dig brief with you because then
- 11:27Speaker 2: some random dude approaches Abby yes, and you guys just
- 11:30Speaker 2: start going at it.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Okay, that's no, that's not even rewind that's not even
- 11:35Speaker 1: remotely what happened.
- 11:36Speaker 2: I didn't finish my sentence in the dancing sense. They
- 11:38Speaker 2: didn't go at it. I didn't see anything. I don't
- 11:40Speaker 2: know Abby, what happened.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Well, I don't even fully remember. So we're at this
- 11:44Speaker 1: bar and to get paint you pictures to what Ruby's
- 11:46Speaker 1: elixra is. It's a pretty tight bar, but it's kind
- 11:50Speaker 1: of open air as well, so you can kind of
- 11:51Speaker 1: just like walk in and there's a band at the front.
- 11:55Speaker 1: It's bright red lighting, so it's very dimly lts kind
- 11:58Speaker 1: of giving vampire yeah, And so I'm me at the front,
- 12:00Speaker 1: there's some band playing some song, and all of a sudden,
- 12:04Speaker 1: I don't know how he like swooped in, but he
- 12:06Speaker 1: just started dancing with me, like swing dancing, and in
- 12:09Speaker 1: a very like I was. I was like bumping into people.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Oh hand, he's spinning her around. Literally.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Your mom and I were like, we looked at his
- 12:17Speaker 2: other we just said we just backed up.
- 12:21Speaker 1: So he's going after it. I'm full disclosure, not really
- 12:25Speaker 1: into it. Yeah, but I'm like, I don't I want
- 12:27Speaker 1: to encourage men to approach women more. So I'm in
- 12:30Speaker 1: I'm just dancing with the dude, like, I'm not thinking
- 12:32Speaker 1: much of it, and then he go, I know. And
- 12:33Speaker 1: then he goes, well, let me get your number, and
- 12:35Speaker 1: I go, okay, So I give him my number and
- 12:37Speaker 1: he texts me.
- 12:38Speaker 3: But then I wait, wait, wait what you gave him
- 12:42Speaker 3: your number?
- 12:43Speaker 1: Well he asked for it, and eye again like, I
- 12:44Speaker 1: am very pro I think men should approach women more.
- 12:47Speaker 1: So I'm not going to shame you for approaching me.
- 12:50Speaker 3: I love that.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, I just had no idea I even see
- 12:53Speaker 2: that interaction happen.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I would rather reject you in the comfort of your
- 12:56Speaker 1: own home.
- 12:57Speaker 2: But that's valid, you know, you know what I mean.
- 13:00Speaker 2: But wouldn't it be so you gave him your actual number?
- 13:03Speaker 3: Yeah, we need him. You can't just be giving everybody
- 13:05Speaker 3: your numby.
- 13:05Speaker 1: He asked for it, and well it's not like he's
- 13:07Speaker 1: been blowing up my phone and be like, Okay, that's
- 13:09Speaker 1: a good point, you know what I mean, because then
- 13:10Speaker 1: I'll just block you.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Yeah, that's okay as long as that's the case, because
- 13:14Speaker 2: I'm like, that's and Instagram is a little more gentle
- 13:17Speaker 2: I feel, but I also think it's a little more of.
- 13:19Speaker 1: A But he asked for my number and to be fair,
- 13:21Speaker 1: I'd been drinking all day. I wasn't thinking, I'm just
- 13:22Speaker 1: trying to get out at this. I was like, I,
- 13:23Speaker 1: let's give my number and then if I want to
- 13:25Speaker 1: go out with him, I don't have to go out
- 13:26Speaker 1: with them, like it's a part of being an adult.
- 13:27Speaker 1: He asked my number, he wasn't asking me out. He
- 13:30Speaker 1: did well, Actually he asked me out. He goes we
- 13:31Speaker 1: should go bike riding. I'm like, don't put me down
- 13:33Speaker 1: for that.
- 13:33Speaker 3: So he was lovely. Actually, I'm liking this guy more
- 13:35Speaker 3: and more. I didn't like him in the Yeah, yeah.
- 13:37Speaker 1: No, I mean he was He's fine, He's just I
- 13:38Speaker 1: was just like, I'm not really, I'm not really feeling it,
- 13:40Speaker 1: if I'm honest with you. So we exchanged numbers and
- 13:44Speaker 1: then I go over to you and my mom because
- 13:46Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, I did I did my dueligence for
- 13:48Speaker 1: five minutes, and I'm gonna go back to my night.
- 13:50Speaker 1: And then he immediately starts going after some other girl. Yeah,
- 13:52Speaker 1: and maybe it's wrong of me, but I felt some
- 13:54Speaker 1: type of way about that. I was like, because he
- 13:57Speaker 1: was very flowery with his language, and was like, oh
- 13:59Speaker 1: my god, like you're just you seem so cool and
- 14:01Speaker 1: so great. Not that the other girl can't be cool too,
- 14:03Speaker 1: but are you just saying this to ever? You literally
- 14:06Speaker 1: just asked me out and hear he is schmoozing some
- 14:08Speaker 1: other girl to my lap. So I'm like, you just
- 14:10Speaker 1: it just seems like you just want somebody, you know
- 14:12Speaker 1: what I mean. And I think every girl wants to
- 14:14Speaker 1: feel a little bit chosen to where A. I wasn't
- 14:17Speaker 1: really into it to begin with, but then b I
- 14:19Speaker 1: was like, Oh, he's just he's really just looking burger role.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's what I think. I saw him later
- 14:23Speaker 2: in the night at another bar that we're at, and
- 14:25Speaker 2: I'm like, oh.
- 14:26Speaker 1: You saw him again.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Yeah. I stayed out for like another two hours once
- 14:30Speaker 2: you guys went home.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Where did you Okay? I didn't know that, so we're okay.
- 14:33Speaker 1: So that's what happened at Ruby's and then we went
- 14:35Speaker 1: to one more place. We went to Mandarin Hide.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Vanderin Hyde is a spot in Saint Pete. It's a
- 14:39Speaker 2: little more of a qua, not well that late in
- 14:42Speaker 2: the night. Nothing's quiet, but it's a nicer bar where
- 14:45Speaker 2: they have used to be. I think there's subpart now,
- 14:48Speaker 2: but like the best espresso martinis.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I was actually very impressed with my espresso TEENI last night. Yeah.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I think if you go like when it's not busy
- 14:55Speaker 2: like that and you get it in an actual glass,
- 14:57Speaker 2: it's even better. The packed bar we had to pour
- 15:00Speaker 2: it into a plastic cup. That side takes a little
- 15:03Speaker 2: bit away from it. But I like manner and hide again,
- 15:05Speaker 2: Like when I'm gonna go out, I want to go
- 15:06Speaker 2: to a place that actually enjoy the drinks. Yeah, this
- 15:08Speaker 2: is where I was very impressed because there's a little
- 15:10Speaker 2: like like a house music area in the back.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:14Speaker 1: He Scotty loves a whoopi woop.
- 15:16Speaker 3: I do love a whooptoop. And I didn't always, Like
- 15:19Speaker 3: six months.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Ago, I would have said absolutely not, I'm not gonna
- 15:21Speaker 2: sit there and listen to house music for em But
- 15:24Speaker 2: damn it, I love it.
- 15:26Speaker 1: If I liked drugs, I would like whoopie woop music.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I just I don't know. My head goes to such
- 15:31Speaker 2: a good Ufork place where it's like vibing, I feel
- 15:34Speaker 2: good and I could just bounce. I like to just bounce,
- 15:37Speaker 2: you know. And so we go in this back room
- 15:39Speaker 2: and it's just it's packed of people and it's like
- 15:42Speaker 2: a little two man DJ set and your mom hung
- 15:45Speaker 2: in there. I don't know if she likes house music
- 15:47Speaker 2: or like the vibes she wants, but I was like,
- 15:49Speaker 2: this is pretty dope because as we sat there and
- 15:51Speaker 2: it's like now twelve thirty, she's just still listening to
- 15:55Speaker 2: Wooptie Whoop with me as we're all just sitting in
- 15:57Speaker 2: the back. And that's usually a pretty like not gonna
- 16:00Speaker 2: say a drug scene, but I'm sure people that go
- 16:02Speaker 2: back there are usually on drugs.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Oh people were on drugs, yeah in that room.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Yeah, And that's what you say, and it's like, again,
- 16:06Speaker 3: twenty people max could fit in there.
- 16:08Speaker 1: To be fair, I wish I was on drugs in
- 16:10Speaker 1: that room because I'm like, because the base is so potent,
- 16:13Speaker 1: you can feel at reverberate through you to where I'm like, oh, yeah,
- 16:16Speaker 1: I could see if I'd had a gummy, this would
- 16:17Speaker 1: be a vibe. But I can't handle the weed. So
- 16:22Speaker 1: I was like just taking a sip of my e
- 16:23Speaker 1: sespos of Martini, being like, I hope this kicks in.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I mean, I absolutely love that, but I am regretful
- 16:29Speaker 2: that you all didn't take an opportunity for the tub.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I know, the tub kind of grossed me out. So
- 16:33Speaker 1: there was a bathtub in the back, and I've taken
- 16:36Speaker 1: a tub pick before. I've been to other cocktail bars
- 16:38Speaker 1: where there's a tub and you take the tub picture.
- 16:40Speaker 1: We walked by this tub and I was just thinking
- 16:42Speaker 1: about all the gross people sweating in the tub and
- 16:46Speaker 1: it wouldn't look very clean. I also didn't really want
- 16:48Speaker 1: a photo. Come like, it's one thirty. I feel gross.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I just want to go home, like you know when.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Like honestly, when we got to Mandarin Hyde, I was
- 16:54Speaker 1: kind of done, Like I wasn't tired, but I was like,
- 16:57Speaker 1: this is it.
- 16:57Speaker 3: You've hit your But it's one of those.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Things where it's like I'm gonna look like a loser
- 17:01Speaker 1: or a bitch if I go. Yeah, I want to
- 17:03Speaker 1: go now. So I was like, I'm just hanging here
- 17:05Speaker 1: for twenty minutes and then around one thirty, I'll call
- 17:08Speaker 1: it to night. So then once I saw one thirty, I.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Was like, Okay, I want to go. I understand that. Yeah,
- 17:12Speaker 3: I get that.
- 17:12Speaker 1: All we had been out since we took the plates
- 17:15Speaker 1: class at ten thirty. Yeah, and I mean my mom
- 17:18Speaker 1: and I started drinking immediately after that. So we've been
- 17:21Speaker 1: going since noon, so we had paced ourselves really well,
- 17:25Speaker 1: like we weren't like going balls to the wall for
- 17:28Speaker 1: twelve hours.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Yeah, but everyone has like a limit.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I'm like how much gas they could give, and like
- 17:32Speaker 2: when I run out, I run out.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Well, here's the thing. If we had gone to Welcome
- 17:36Speaker 1: to the Farm or One Night Stand and they had
- 17:38Speaker 1: played music that me and my mom really jelled to,
- 17:40Speaker 1: we would have been out till four God bless America.
- 17:43Speaker 3: I would have left y'all back of the bar.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Absolutely not, but I understand that because I get to
- 17:48Speaker 2: a limit. When I was at this, we wanted to go.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Before I went out with y'all, I was over at
- 17:53Speaker 2: the beach because we wanted to go check out a
- 17:55Speaker 2: beach bar that's supposed to be popping. I'm gonna mess
- 17:58Speaker 2: up the name, but I'm just gonna call it Undertow
- 18:00Speaker 2: or something like that, something like that beach bar so dope,
- 18:05Speaker 2: like DJ little Wootie Woop music, Uh huh. Hundreds of
- 18:09Speaker 2: people in there, which is weird because it's like a club,
- 18:12Speaker 2: but everyone's in a bikini, so it's very weird. But
- 18:15Speaker 2: my social battery was just not there, Like I wasn't
- 18:17Speaker 2: charged up, I wasn't feeling it. I did not want
- 18:19Speaker 2: to be there. I also don't like if I'm going
- 18:21Speaker 2: to go out and try to be social, I don't
- 18:22Speaker 2: like loud music because I can't hear you. So I'm
- 18:25Speaker 2: either going to dance or I'm either going to be social.
- 18:28Speaker 2: But I have a very hard time doing both.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Yes, so we wanted to go, but immediately, like my
- 18:34Speaker 2: roommate was vibing with it, I was vibing with the music,
- 18:37Speaker 2: but he wanted to stay out a lot longer. But
- 18:40Speaker 2: my social battery was like absolutely not. Like we snuck
- 18:42Speaker 2: into the dancis Ar, like the little hotel over there
- 18:45Speaker 2: to see the vibe and I'll meet I was like,
- 18:46Speaker 2: all right, I'm good, I'm out.
- 18:48Speaker 3: I'm out.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Well that's impressive because that takes a lot of social
- 18:51Speaker 1: energy to then meet your co host's mom and then
- 18:54Speaker 1: stay out until two am.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I actually ended up charging back up.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I think that was the vibe. I was more looking
- 19:00Speaker 2: for us. Yeah, like you gets me out of like
- 19:01Speaker 2: a cocktail bar, having a drink, having a conversation thrive. Yeah,
- 19:06Speaker 2: I could do that for hours, especially as the drinks
- 19:08Speaker 2: keep flowing and things just happened. I'm like, oh, all
- 19:11Speaker 2: day every day, catch me at.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Like a walk in to the farm.
- 19:14Speaker 2: You got me for, you know, forty five minutes going
- 19:17Speaker 2: hard before I get way too sweaty and I got
- 19:20Speaker 2: a way too big of a headache. But I think
- 19:22Speaker 2: we did pretty good lasting. I'm curious on because we
- 19:26Speaker 2: went and got a piece of pizza.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Then y'all ubered off. What was the conversation in the
- 19:29Speaker 3: car after that?
- 19:30Speaker 1: So you are having an anxiety that me and my
- 19:32Speaker 1: mom were talking shit afterwards?
- 19:33Speaker 3: Yeah, well not shit.
- 19:34Speaker 2: I'm just thinking, hmm, I'm very curious on what your
- 19:38Speaker 2: mom's perspective is of everything, because we had some great conversations. Yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 2: like your mom and I felt like bonded. We had
- 19:44Speaker 2: great moments, We had fun. But then that's why I
- 19:48Speaker 2: woke up yesterday because I woke up YESTERD. I was like,
- 19:50Speaker 2: I wonder if I said something that was too too much,
- 19:53Speaker 2: or if I wonder if I acted a little too
- 19:57Speaker 2: comfortable or wilder pushed it a little too far for y'all,
- 20:01Speaker 2: Like you said, like you're done at twelve thirty, I'm like, dang,
- 20:03Speaker 2: did I keep them out?
- 20:04Speaker 1: No extra hour because my mom was having a good time,
- 20:07Speaker 1: Like there was a part of me that was staying
- 20:09Speaker 1: out because I'm like, I can tell my mom's having
- 20:10Speaker 1: a good time. I don't want to, like, you know,
- 20:13Speaker 1: kill the vibe. And you were also having a good time,
- 20:15Speaker 1: and so I was like, I don't want to be
- 20:16Speaker 1: the one person that's like I'm because I wasn't even tired.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I was just kind of like, I don't really like
- 20:21Speaker 1: whooped you whoop music. I've been out for so long.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I just want to lay down. And then literally the
- 20:27Speaker 1: second we got in the Uber, I like laid in
- 20:29Speaker 1: my mom's lap and I fell asleep. Really yeah, I
- 20:31Speaker 1: slept from Saint Pete to Tampa. Oh yeah, yes, actually no,
- 20:35Speaker 1: I take that back. I got on Uber Eats, I
- 20:37Speaker 1: ordered insomnia cookies and then I fell asleep, and then
- 20:41Speaker 1: I went home. I fell asleep on my parents' couch,
- 20:43Speaker 1: woke up at four am, got said cookies that were
- 20:46Speaker 1: sitting in the pouring rain, and then went to bed.
- 20:49Speaker 3: What kind did you get?
- 20:50Speaker 1: They weren't good, if I'm honest with you, And I like,
- 20:53Speaker 1: so there used to being insomnia cookies behind my apartment
- 20:55Speaker 1: in Jacksonville. Amazing they were so good. I don't know
- 20:58Speaker 1: who's running the insomna in Tampa Bay.
- 21:02Speaker 3: I mean it was also two in the morning.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta step it up. That's your job. Two
- 21:05Speaker 1: in the morning on Saturday night. That's primetime. Baby.
- 21:08Speaker 3: That's a good point, you know what I mean.
- 21:09Speaker 1: It's like us doing a bad job at seven thirty am,
- 21:12Speaker 1: you know what I mean, that's when it counts.
- 21:15Speaker 2: The only thing I could give him is maybe because
- 21:16Speaker 2: you left him outside for three hours while you were sleeping.
- 21:19Speaker 1: No, they weren't good. I don't even think they were
- 21:20Speaker 1: the right flavors.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Oh that's okay, Yeah, that takes away from it.
- 21:24Speaker 1: I ordered one that was supposed to have cookie butter
- 21:25Speaker 1: in the middle of it, and I was like, where's
- 21:27Speaker 1: the cookie butter? Where's the cookie butter you wash away
- 21:30Speaker 1: in the rain?
- 21:31Speaker 3: Gosh, that does sound so good.
- 21:32Speaker 2: But I woke up on Sunday and I was man like,
- 21:35Speaker 2: this is what always stops me from drinking again. I'm like,
- 21:37Speaker 2: I felt like garbage because I woke up at eight
- 21:40Speaker 2: and I just I couldn't go back to sleep because
- 21:42Speaker 2: the sun's going through my window.
- 21:43Speaker 3: And we went I went after you all went home.
- 21:46Speaker 2: I continued, I went to this place called Sagon Blonde,
- 21:49Speaker 2: which is again.
- 21:49Speaker 3: A big whoopedy woo place.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Vi our vibe in there.
- 21:53Speaker 2: It's like Tiki's in there, and then there's a DJ
- 21:55Speaker 2: up top and he's playing like the best house music.
- 21:57Speaker 1: And took another stayed out. Well.
- 21:59Speaker 2: My roommate was coming back out, or he was already
- 22:01Speaker 2: out walking around, and I was still vibing. I was
- 22:04Speaker 2: feeling really good you.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Were, which is why I was like, oh, I can't now,
- 22:07Speaker 1: Like in the night.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I think too, this is fun to talk about because
- 22:12Speaker 2: I think when people get that comfort, like if when
- 22:15Speaker 2: we go out again, yeah, you just say it like
- 22:18Speaker 2: I'm good.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Yeah, But I also felt bad. My mom was having
- 22:20Speaker 1: a good time yeah, and I was like, I don't
- 22:22Speaker 1: want to cut it short. And then like my mom's like, no,
- 22:24Speaker 1: I'm wondering I was going anymore. Oh yeah, that's understandablecause
- 22:27Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know when she's coming back.
- 22:28Speaker 2: That's a good point, and we'll do it. I think
- 22:30Speaker 2: what I want to do now is also do we
- 22:31Speaker 2: did a Saint Pete knight. We didn't see all of
- 22:33Speaker 2: Saint Pete. I think we saw a good handful.
- 22:35Speaker 1: What else? What? What if you were going to rework
- 22:38Speaker 1: that night, what would you have done?
- 22:39Speaker 2: I would have went further down Central, which was so
- 22:42Speaker 2: that area is very packed, so we were like on
- 22:44Speaker 2: the main hub of Central, right in near the pier.
- 22:47Speaker 2: I would have went further down like the Grand Central district,
- 22:50Speaker 2: which has bars, like I think of a huge gay
- 22:54Speaker 2: bar scene, which is always fun, but that there's so
- 22:57Speaker 2: many different ones around there.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:58Speaker 3: I usually only go down there to go like this
- 23:00Speaker 3: place called Cocktail.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Do my mom and I give gay bar vibes?
- 23:04Speaker 2: No, I wouldn't say, yes you do, but also maybe,
- 23:09Speaker 2: but also maybe, but also maybe it depends on how
- 23:12Speaker 2: much you want to sing and dance. Yeah, because if
- 23:14Speaker 2: you want to twirl on a dance floor, you go
- 23:17Speaker 2: to Cocktail.
- 23:18Speaker 1: See. I like to dance, but I like to dance
- 23:20Speaker 1: to a song with a lyric.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Those songs all have lyrics. Yeah, that's I would give
- 23:24Speaker 2: you know. Cocktail is great DJs. They also have great shows,
- 23:27Speaker 2: but it's now it's massive.
- 23:28Speaker 3: I haven't been in a while.
- 23:28Speaker 2: They got a whole pool in the back, they got
- 23:30Speaker 2: dancers all over the place. There's another place that I
- 23:35Speaker 2: went on my date night, which again, a nice cocktail
- 23:37Speaker 2: bar was whiskey Exchange. I would have liked to have
- 23:39Speaker 2: a nice whiskey and have a conversation there, and then
- 23:42Speaker 2: further down I would have went to the place that
- 23:46Speaker 2: I went to on the date, and this one would
- 23:48Speaker 2: have cool. Live music would have been the Tampa Bay Drinkery. Okay,
- 23:50Speaker 2: that'd have been nice. Or the karaoke bar, which is
- 23:53Speaker 2: there's a whole other thing with it. I'm just gonna
- 23:55Speaker 2: say the karaoke bar. It's this place. I used to
- 23:57Speaker 2: call it La Las cool place. Bad situation happened recently.
- 24:03Speaker 2: What happened, Well, they're their owner got allegedly got some
- 24:06Speaker 2: I don't know what I'm legal, Yeah, got in some.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Trouble so for doing what essay? Allegations are word allegations.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Oh I don't even know what that means. Oh my gosh.
- 24:20Speaker 2: No, let's say material allegations inbezzlement, no like of what
- 24:24Speaker 2: kind of material they had they found?
- 24:26Speaker 1: Druggy allegations. Can you just say it. We're all adults here.
- 24:30Speaker 3: I know, allegedly like child pornography.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Oh god.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Oh see, that's why I didn't want to say it.
- 24:36Speaker 1: That sucks when because if it's a good bar, you
- 24:38Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like just because he owns it
- 24:39Speaker 1: doesn't mean he's now unless they were like distributing it there.
- 24:42Speaker 2: No, No, it was just the owner from anything that's
- 24:45Speaker 2: popped up.
- 24:45Speaker 1: But then also, like would you feel a certain way
- 24:47Speaker 1: if you bought something from that bar and you're like, well,
- 24:49Speaker 1: that's trading to his money that was going to.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Yeah, like that's that's the part that really sucks to you.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Like it's such a good spot, it's so fun, and
- 24:58Speaker 2: then it just has this achy feeling now. But that
- 25:00Speaker 2: would have been a spot that would have been fun
- 25:02Speaker 2: to do, like if you want to get like a
- 25:04Speaker 2: I love a karaoke moment in front.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Of a crowd.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I like karaoke.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Yeah, Like that would have been a good spot. But
- 25:09Speaker 2: I'm still learning the new spots now that I'm going
- 25:12Speaker 2: back out, so I have a good handful, Okay, not
- 25:15Speaker 2: all of them.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I liked Welcome to the Farm, but I would have
- 25:19Speaker 1: liked it more if i'd liked the music, Like when
- 25:22Speaker 1: they played seventeen thirty eight, I don't even know if
- 25:25Speaker 1: that's a song, trap queen. I just noticed thirty eight
- 25:28Speaker 1: when they if they played more country and just more
- 25:31Speaker 1: songs you can dance to, that bar would have been
- 25:34Speaker 1: the vibe. Yeah, And same with One Night Stan. One
- 25:36Speaker 1: Night Stan couldn't figure out what kind of vibe it
- 25:38Speaker 1: wanted to have. It played fishing in the Dark and
- 25:41Speaker 1: then Lady Gaga and I was like, these are two
- 25:45Speaker 1: completely opposite ends of the spectrum songs.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Well, they have to play something country, yeah, because it's
- 25:50Speaker 2: a country bar.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I know, but then it should be majority country.
- 25:54Speaker 2: That's what I would have thought too. But I think,
- 25:55Speaker 2: like you said, spring Break definitely ruined it. I think
- 25:57Speaker 2: if I was to take you to another country, like
- 25:59Speaker 2: have you heard it, like the Dallas Bowl. No, that
- 26:02Speaker 2: is like that's in Tampa near Riverview, right by the Amphitheater.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Like that does like straight up line dancing, or it's
- 26:09Speaker 2: like a country artists will come by. They'll do like
- 26:12Speaker 2: an after show at the Dallas Bowl where everyone's doing
- 26:14Speaker 2: like a four step. That's you know, I have I
- 26:16Speaker 2: have country in me. It's a little too country for me.
- 26:20Speaker 1: That might be a little too country.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Yeah, Like that's like there, that's a different kind.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:25Speaker 2: But they do have an upstairs that plays like pop
- 26:27Speaker 2: music like I've had cool you know, nights up at
- 26:29Speaker 2: the upstairs part. That's so you could get down with
- 26:32Speaker 2: the ladies. I know that, you know, But on the
- 26:36Speaker 2: little like you know, two step area, I just get hit,
- 26:39Speaker 2: I get run over. I don't do any of that. Yeah,
- 26:41Speaker 2: I want to learn how to do more. Like I
- 26:43Speaker 2: want to go to a Latin club next. That's what
- 26:46Speaker 2: I'm trying to do.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Where's the Latin places here in Tampa?
- 26:48Speaker 2: There was one that we were by on Central, but
- 26:50Speaker 2: I have never been, and I don't know. I don't
- 26:53Speaker 2: One of the things I want to learn is how
- 26:54Speaker 2: to like salsa, okay, marengue.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I think I know someone who could teach you.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Well, me too. I want to learn before they teach me.
- 27:02Speaker 3: I want to just know it, you know.
- 27:03Speaker 2: I want to make sure, like if you know, I
- 27:06Speaker 2: go dancing, I know how to do it already. Yeah,
- 27:09Speaker 2: that's one of the things I learned. And we're talking
- 27:10Speaker 2: about the zoom A cruise on another time because that's
- 27:12Speaker 2: a whole other situation.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Oh yeah, we totally breezed over what you did last
- 27:15Speaker 1: week when I was at the Zoomba cruse.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Yeah. I was on a zoom A cruise for like
- 27:18Speaker 2: five days all Zoomba like the whole cruise was there
- 27:22Speaker 2: simply for Zoomba. Two thousand people Zoomba all day, morning, afternoon, night, Zoomba.
- 27:29Speaker 2: It was the official zoom A Cruise, which was absolutely
- 27:33Speaker 2: insane to be a part of, but one of the
- 27:35Speaker 2: best experiences to be there too, And not gonna lie,
- 27:38Speaker 2: like I wanted to go on and be healthier than
- 27:40Speaker 2: I've ever been. I came back like, leaner and feeling
- 27:44Speaker 2: better than I ever have after a trip.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Oh that's good.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I got my steps in.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Yeah, and I did put up a video which we'll
- 27:50Speaker 2: talk about more of though. Like where I was competing
- 27:53Speaker 2: in everything, any competition, karaoke competitions, on stage, I had
- 27:58Speaker 2: the Mister Sexy Legs competition where I had to go
- 28:01Speaker 2: and swoon over three female judges in front of the
- 28:06Speaker 2: entire ship. I did not miss an opportunity.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I know, I saw, I know. Unfortunately I did.
- 28:12Speaker 3: I'll get out of here. I think that was a delight.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you know, I don't think you realized that
- 28:17Speaker 2: you know, your boy over here has the moves.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I didn't need to see the video to know that
- 28:21Speaker 1: you have moves.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Okay, I mean, I think you have a better understanding. Now.
- 28:24Speaker 3: You know, I've been.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Following you on the Instagram for a while.
- 28:26Speaker 3: I'm not blind, so I had to shake it.
- 28:28Speaker 2: I was, you know, I ripped off my shirt, I
- 28:30Speaker 2: pulled my shorts way up, and I started shimming towards
- 28:33Speaker 2: these women. I busted out the worm. I did like
- 28:35Speaker 2: the little one handed push ups. I felt like magic Mike.
- 28:38Speaker 1: And yet you still didn't win.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Okay, And I don't know if that necessarily needed to
- 28:43Speaker 3: be mentioned.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Well, I mean, you know, I'm okay, here's annoying. I
- 28:46Speaker 1: want to know who you lost to.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Okay, Here's how this situation went down.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Because they're like, mister sexy legs competition, what ten men
- 28:55Speaker 2: want to compete? I was like, you know what, ef itt,
- 28:58Speaker 2: what a great way to meet everybody on the sh Yeah,
- 29:00Speaker 2: being the guy in the middle of the stage, I
- 29:02Speaker 2: don't mind.
- 29:02Speaker 3: It's funny.
- 29:03Speaker 2: And there were so few men that I was worried
- 29:06Speaker 2: they wouldn't have enough. Like this cruise was two thousand people.
- 29:09Speaker 2: I'd say one thousand, nine hundred and ninety of them
- 29:12Speaker 2: were women. Okay, And so I was like, all right,
- 29:14Speaker 2: I'll sign up to be one of the dudes. And
- 29:16Speaker 2: so I'm just being the friendly guy that I am.
- 29:18Speaker 2: And I walk up to the first guy and he's massive,
- 29:20Speaker 2: big dude, and I'm like, hey, dude, like you know,
- 29:23Speaker 2: you look like you were built for this, and he
- 29:24Speaker 2: looks me right in the face, no smile, no laugh,
- 29:26Speaker 2: He's like, I'm going to win.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Okay, bro, Like I just tried to brow out for
- 29:30Speaker 3: a second.
- 29:31Speaker 1: I didn't know you were competing against Putin.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Literally, I was like, we're not winning anything. We're not
- 29:36Speaker 2: winning a free cruise, a free nothing.
- 29:38Speaker 1: There's just no prize, just the pride of being mister
- 29:41Speaker 1: sexy legs exactly.
- 29:42Speaker 2: But he looks me in the eyes of I am
- 29:43Speaker 2: going to win, all right. I'm not going to talk
- 29:46Speaker 2: to you anymore.
- 29:46Speaker 1: So to you, Vladimir Putin, and who else are you
- 29:49Speaker 1: going up against?
- 29:49Speaker 2: Then I'm going up against this like seventy something year
- 29:52Speaker 2: old dude named Angel. And Angel speaks this delicious Spanish,
- 29:56Speaker 2: she speaks to the crowd. But he's also he's way
- 30:00Speaker 2: older than I am, and I knew that was going
- 30:02Speaker 2: to work in his advantage. And so the beef the
- 30:05Speaker 2: I call beef Hamster, this beefy dude, this massive guy.
- 30:09Speaker 2: He starts I think he's a professional stripper. He went
- 30:12Speaker 2: before me and he's like shaking that ass, working up
- 30:17Speaker 2: against the rail with these women, but very little personality.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Who do you think he was there with or did
- 30:23Speaker 1: he come by himself.
- 30:24Speaker 2: I think he came with a group, probably a zoomba group.
- 30:27Speaker 2: He might have been a zoomba instructor. I don't know,
- 30:29Speaker 2: But he knew he knew his moves. I don't, I
- 30:32Speaker 2: jokingly know moves.
- 30:33Speaker 1: What was the best move that he executed.
- 30:36Speaker 2: I think he did that thing where it's like he
- 30:39Speaker 2: he flipped his body so he's looking away from the women.
- 30:42Speaker 2: He popped his feet up by their hips because they're
- 30:44Speaker 2: sitting down on a ledge, and he started like grinding
- 30:49Speaker 2: up like his hips against their hips.
- 30:52Speaker 3: Very stripper ish.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Oh yeah, like it went down.
- 30:56Speaker 2: I would be so scared to do that, because I'd
- 30:57Speaker 2: be scared I was gonna kick somebody in the face.
- 30:59Speaker 1: I was gonna say. I would have had them all
- 31:00Speaker 1: signed consent for.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Well, we weren't allowed to touch the women. That was
- 31:03Speaker 2: the thing. It's literally, do not touch, simply dance. I
- 31:07Speaker 2: felt like you got away with a little bit too.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Well he worked it and he was a crowd favorite.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Not gonna lie, but I just didn't like that he
- 31:14Speaker 2: didn't have personality. It was like, you took it too seriously. Yeah,
- 31:17Speaker 2: I get it, Like if this was you on the
- 31:19Speaker 2: stage in Vegas stripping for some like a bachelorette party,
- 31:22Speaker 2: you deserve that.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Pay work it.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Then I go and I'm like, all right, I still
- 31:26Speaker 2: got to be sexy, but I'd rather be more personal.
- 31:28Speaker 2: So I hop on the mic and I start speaking everyone.
- 31:30Speaker 2: The guy's like, why do you take my mic?
- 31:31Speaker 1: I'm like, well, this is my opportunity giving them a motivation.
- 31:34Speaker 1: I did. I did because I was like, the women
- 31:36Speaker 1: are like, we're not turned on, we're stressed.
- 31:39Speaker 2: No, I gave them a hype up because I knew
- 31:42Speaker 2: I could win over with at least my voice. If
- 31:44Speaker 2: I could talk to you and show some personality, we
- 31:46Speaker 2: got some fun.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Now I see where you went wrong.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Well no, no, no, I don't think this.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Well what was your signature move? Like if he did
- 31:53Speaker 1: the reverse worm up against their hips? What did you do?
- 31:57Speaker 3: Okay?
- 31:58Speaker 2: Well, I started off by jumping off legend. I went
- 32:00Speaker 2: right into the worm. I started throwing my body.
- 32:04Speaker 3: I don't know how you laughing.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I'm not I'm waiver continue years.
- 32:06Speaker 2: That's supposed to be the sexy part, Okay, but I poppy.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what That's what every woman says. She seemed
- 32:11Speaker 1: to the worm God.
- 32:13Speaker 3: All right, Well you know what, I guess I'll rework
- 32:15Speaker 3: my routine.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Scotty's like I'm slipping all over the Lido deck. I
- 32:19Speaker 1: shake the way, sliding off their chairs.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Well then I get up and I start a booty popping, like,
- 32:24Speaker 2: I start shaking my chest and my booty. And I
- 32:27Speaker 2: watched the video multiple times on my Instagram, and usually
- 32:30Speaker 2: I'm not that impressed with myself. I looked at that
- 32:32Speaker 2: video and I said, Scott, that actually looks kind of decent.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Usually I think I'm just having like problems, and I'm like, okay,
- 32:38Speaker 2: he's having like he looked, yeah, like he looks like
- 32:40Speaker 2: he needs medical attention. This time, I was like, wait
- 32:42Speaker 2: a second, it looks like he's working.
- 32:44Speaker 3: That's a win.
- 32:45Speaker 2: And the first girl, I jump up and I put
- 32:48Speaker 2: my leg next to her hip and I start thrusting
- 32:51Speaker 2: towards her, not touching her, keeping a delicious amount of
- 32:55Speaker 2: you know, space between us for Jesus, but enough where
- 32:59Speaker 2: it's like you get a scent, you get a feel,
- 33:01Speaker 2: you get a vibe, you feel the energy.
- 33:03Speaker 3: You should probably feel the push. No. I thought that
- 33:06Speaker 3: was like, that's like a key stripper move, is it not.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Yeah, you look at me as if I would know.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Oh, I'm trying to think if that was you as
- 33:13Speaker 2: a judge, don't picture me as the one dancing. Well,
- 33:18Speaker 2: I don't know if that's gonna help in this case.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Then your judgment on this.
- 33:20Speaker 1: It's like Scotty, He's like, I'm sporing out my pheromones.
- 33:23Speaker 3: I'm making sure I'm feeling sexy.
- 33:26Speaker 2: I'm not a great Okay, I've gotten better about like
- 33:29Speaker 2: doing like sexy moves.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Yeah, but usually I'm just like the clown.
- 33:32Speaker 2: I like to just make people laugh and have a
- 33:34Speaker 2: good time, but to actually get into a sexy space.
- 33:37Speaker 1: That's why you lost. Vladimir Putin. Vladimir Putin knew it
- 33:40Speaker 1: was cards, and he played them well.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Well, I think it was rigged.
- 33:44Speaker 1: He's like, I'm going to dig over the gun three
- 33:46Speaker 1: and then your ards.
- 33:47Speaker 2: I think the best move I did, though, is I
- 33:49Speaker 2: got next to the one girl and I started like
- 33:51Speaker 2: I was thrusting the ground, but then I went into
- 33:53Speaker 2: like one armed push ups.
- 33:54Speaker 3: I thought that was pretty impressive. I was feeling. I
- 33:56Speaker 3: didn't even know I had it in me, but I
- 33:58Speaker 3: was like, the people were watching. The people won it.
- 34:01Speaker 2: So I dropped down and then I slid across and
- 34:04Speaker 2: I laid sideways and then I just ran around the ground,
- 34:08Speaker 2: high five and everybody.
- 34:10Speaker 3: But then Angel went up. The seventy year old seventy plus, he's.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Pulling out moves from nineteen forty that you ain't never
- 34:18Speaker 1: heard of.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Well, you know, he's a bigger dude. He speaks on
- 34:21Speaker 3: the mic.
- 34:21Speaker 2: He speaks beautiful Spanish for everyone. I don't know what
- 34:24Speaker 2: he says, but everyone cheers. I'm like, damn it. And
- 34:27Speaker 2: he's older, and so he already has a point and
- 34:29Speaker 2: he gets up and he just honestly has great dance moves.
- 34:32Speaker 2: He starts shaking that thing. I didn't know he had
- 34:34Speaker 2: those moves in him, but it was like five seconds
- 34:37Speaker 2: of shaking and then it stopped.
- 34:39Speaker 3: It wasn't the worm, it wasn't a twerk, it wasn't
- 34:41Speaker 3: a hip thrust. It was just the shaking and then stop.
- 34:45Speaker 2: And so they go and the judges pick, and they
- 34:47Speaker 2: end up picking Vladimir and the old guy and the
- 34:52Speaker 2: crowd has to then cheer for each one of those.
- 34:54Speaker 1: It was between Vlad and an Angel.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I should have won, but the whatever the.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Judges, why do you think you should have won?
- 35:01Speaker 2: Because I had more personality and not everything's about the
- 35:06Speaker 2: sex s guy.
- 35:07Speaker 1: It's literally a mister sexy.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Life plenty sexy, and I had personality. It's not what
- 35:11Speaker 3: do you want from a man.
- 35:12Speaker 1: It's not mister sexy personality. It's literally a lap dance competition. Okay,
- 35:17Speaker 1: do you think men show up to the Pink Pony
- 35:19Speaker 1: Club and go, you know what? I haven't.
- 35:21Speaker 3: Why did Angel get picked over me?
- 35:23Speaker 1: Because he's probably more appealing to their age?
- 35:26Speaker 3: No, no, no, no.
- 35:28Speaker 1: I was. They're like, legitimately I would have sex with Angel.
- 35:31Speaker 1: They're like Scotty's my son.
- 35:34Speaker 2: God damn well, I ended up getting like whatever I
- 35:38Speaker 2: think I would have won. They did like a whole
- 35:40Speaker 2: crowd thing. So they put it over me, like me
- 35:42Speaker 2: or Angel, Me or Angel Again, I'm not gonna win
- 35:45Speaker 2: it out over an older gentleman. He deserved it, and
- 35:47Speaker 2: I'm glad he won. Actually in the whole thing, so
- 35:49Speaker 2: he beat the guy that looked me in the eyes,
- 35:51Speaker 2: that I'm going to win.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Then he gets to go back to the nursing home
- 35:53Speaker 1: and he gets to feel like a champ.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Well it was a win because after I walked away,
- 35:58Speaker 2: everybody that knew me and I got to say hell
- 36:00Speaker 2: load everybody, and they're like, I.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Voted for you.
- 36:02Speaker 2: And honestly, it was a great way to get attention
- 36:04Speaker 2: from the ladies because they're.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Like, hey, a a, that's what I'm saying because now
- 36:09Speaker 1: you're the underdog. So now they're like they feel more
- 36:12Speaker 1: compassion for you.
- 36:13Speaker 3: That's a good point. I think that's how it needed
- 36:15Speaker 3: to play out.
- 36:15Speaker 2: I don't need to win, because you don't win anything, no,
- 36:17Speaker 2: but I wanted people to have that empathy forward me.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Plus I Vladimir really wanted to win. Who knows what
- 36:22Speaker 1: Vladimir would have done to you if you would want it.
- 36:24Speaker 3: Probably ripped me in half. That man was massive.
- 36:27Speaker 1: They were doing you a favor.
- 36:28Speaker 3: Yeah, he looked like a grizzly bear. He was big. Yeah,
- 36:31Speaker 3: he was a big man.
- 36:32Speaker 2: But that was one of the parts of the trip
- 36:34Speaker 2: that really set me up for success. I would say,
- 36:37Speaker 2: there's other things that you know. It was an interesting ship,
- 36:41Speaker 2: especially because of the people I got to interact with
- 36:43Speaker 2: I have. Oh my god, there's so much to talk about.
- 36:45Speaker 2: I also got to talk about. We're not gonna get
- 36:47Speaker 2: to it now.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Yeah, you can tease it for tomorrow.
- 36:49Speaker 3: Well, the date that I went on before the trip.
- 36:52Speaker 1: With my friend, mm hmmkay.
- 36:54Speaker 2: It was even more adventurous than the first one. I know,
- 36:58Speaker 2: I heard, you didn't hear the person that we met them.
- 37:02Speaker 1: You explored new territories that you've never.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Easily, but even it was.
- 37:08Speaker 2: We ended up at this beach bar and the person
- 37:11Speaker 2: that we had a conversation with was the most interesting, intriguing,
- 37:21Speaker 2: fascinating human we could have ever sat next to you
- 37:24Speaker 2: In what way.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Into the badass bee that she is?
- 37:29Speaker 1: Yeah, but like in what way.
- 37:32Speaker 3: Of how she has beat up men on purpose?
- 37:37Speaker 1: And how did this conversation come up?
- 37:39Speaker 3: That's exactly what I'm saying. I didn't know.
- 37:41Speaker 2: It just happened, and we met the coolest person. I
- 37:44Speaker 2: will tell you what she like because she gave us,
- 37:46Speaker 2: She gave us gifts. We now have her number. We're
- 37:49Speaker 2: gonna go and see her at her house.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Just in case you guys need someone to beat up Vlad.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Well possibly, But there's also a moment where I had
- 37:57Speaker 2: to tell her. I was like, I'm gonna be honest,
- 37:59Speaker 2: I'm scared that you're going to kill me because there
- 38:02Speaker 2: is a moment where she could have and she did
- 38:04Speaker 2: it multiple times to let me know that if she
- 38:05Speaker 2: wanted to kill me, she can and she will, Okay,
- 38:09Speaker 2: And so it was a it could have been a
- 38:13Speaker 2: sugar mom a moment, but it also could have been
- 38:16Speaker 2: a Scott's murder moment.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:18Speaker 2: See, so I want to tell more of that story
- 38:22Speaker 2: on the next one we do, because that these dates,
- 38:25Speaker 2: it's honestly, it almost feels like it's setting me up
- 38:27Speaker 2: for failure because the dates have gotten better and better,
