- 0:07Speaker 1: in Thee I do trust. Cause me to know the

- 0:26Speaker 1: I rise, it is my primary desire to hear Your voice.
- 0:31Speaker 1: and move in tandem with your will. I trust you

- 0:40Speaker 1: your will for my life is far greater than anything

- 1:34Speaker 3: My friends, welcome to your meditative prayer on morning gratitude.
- 1:39Speaker 3: To get the most out of your spiritual journey, use
- 1:41Speaker 3: Pray.com every day and make prayer a priority in your life.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Our goal for today's meditative prayer is morning gratitude. So
- 1:51Speaker 3: just hit pause for a second. Before the rush of
- 1:54Speaker 3: the day starts, let's spend a moment with God. Close
- 1:59Speaker 3: your eyes. Take a deep breath in. and then exhale out.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Now take every thought captive and shift your focus to
- 2:12Speaker 3: the word of God. Take a moment to pour out
- 2:15Speaker 3: your adoration to God who sustains you. God, I give
- 2:20Speaker 3: you praise for your word is eternal. As the heavens
- 2:24Speaker 3: are higher than the earth, so are your ways higher
- 2:28Speaker 3: than mine. God, your thoughts are higher than my thoughts.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I praise you because you are the everlasting God, the
- 2:37Speaker 3: creator of the ends of the earth. You do not
- 2:41Speaker 3: faint or grow weary and your understanding is unsearchable. Depending
- 2:48Speaker 3: on God to direct your life can be daunting and
- 2:52Speaker 3: demanding though. Sometimes it requires the absolute highest level of trust.
- 2:57Speaker 3: This can be difficult. Not knowing what to expect yet
- 3:02Speaker 3: Being expected to trust can seem frightening. Human nature drives
- 3:06Speaker 3: us to seek knowledge of what will happen next. Whereas
- 3:11Speaker 3: trust in God asks that we seek his assurance over
- 3:14Speaker 3: human nature. Perhaps you've been struggling with your nature. Perhaps
- 3:19Speaker 3: there have been moments in your life where fear was prevalent.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Situations where doubt disabled your ability to trust. Come before
- 3:29Speaker 3: God in this moment. Cast upon him all your distrust
- 3:34Speaker 3: and disbelief. Tell him of the times your heart faltered
- 3:38Speaker 3: and feared. Now take just a few minutes to dwell
- 3:44Speaker 3: on the loving kindness of God towards your life. Thank
- 3:48Speaker 3: him because his faithfulness is not beholden to yours. Thank
- 3:54Speaker 3: the Holy Spirit for empowering you to overcome fear, Think
- 4:01Speaker 3: of past situations where your trust in God brought you
- 4:04Speaker 3: blessings beyond compare. Thank God for those past experiences and
- 4:11Speaker 3: future ones to come. Thank Him for His discipline and
- 4:15Speaker 3: direction in your life. Thank Him because His plans for
- 4:20Speaker 3: you are good and better than you could even think
- 4:23Speaker 3: or imagine. Thank God that through His love, You will
- 4:28Speaker 3: no longer be bound by fear, but instead you will
- 4:32Speaker 3: operate in perpetual trust. God is present and he is
- 4:39Speaker 3: listening to you. With the dawning of each day, we
- 4:43Speaker 3: have a new opportunity to approach God. So seek God
- 4:47Speaker 3: this morning and ask him to speak his loving kindness
- 4:51Speaker 3: over you. Ask him to give you direction for this day.
- 4:56Speaker 3: to guide your steps onto the best possible path. Ask
- 5:00Speaker 3: the Holy Spirit for help in the decisions you will
- 5:03Speaker 3: face and to bless the choices that you will make.
- 5:08Speaker 3: God delights in blessing you. He wants to give you
- 5:13Speaker 3: the desires of your heart. Remember, God calls to you
- 5:18Speaker 3: with loving kindness. Trust in the truth of His Word
- 5:22Speaker 3: that He knows what's best for you. Seek His plans
- 5:27Speaker 3: for your life and His counsel to direct your steps.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Do not fear. God plans to prosper you and not
- 5:35Speaker 3: to harm you. He plans to give you hope and
- 5:39Speaker 3: a future. So be courageous. Through trust, step outside of
- 5:45Speaker 3: fear and into the best life God has for you.
