Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, everybody.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Welcome to Tea Time with Amy and Bev.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Good day.
- 0:06Speaker 2: What's up, again? Just so people know, this is our
- 0:13Speaker 2: third recording in a row. We just have to act
- 0:15Speaker 2: like we're just starting fresh.
- 0:23Speaker 1: It's interesting because in the last few months, I've had
- 0:27Speaker 1: a few people transition, or when I say transition, they
- 0:30Speaker 1: didn't pass. but they've left the currents, the city that
- 0:35Speaker 1: we're in and have moved somewhere else. With all that
- 0:39Speaker 1: being said, we've been acquiring stuff because people give things
- 0:44Speaker 1: away all the time when they're doing that. I've got
- 0:46Speaker 1: all these plants that we have in our house and
- 0:49Speaker 1: it's like all these messages. Then I go to someone
- 0:51Speaker 1: else's house and then they're giving me pineapple and I
- 0:53Speaker 1: go to someone else's house and they're giving me a
- 0:55Speaker 1: dragon fruit plant and I'm going to someone else's house
- 0:58Speaker 1: and I'm being given a bunch of avocados. We're receiving
- 1:03Speaker 1: information all the time. Do we always put two and
- 1:08Speaker 1: two together?
- 1:08Speaker 2: No.
- 1:10Speaker 1: For us here at our home, we have decided they're
- 1:13Speaker 1: letting us know that we need to stay here. We're
- 1:15Speaker 1: planted here for right now, which goes along with messages
- 1:18Speaker 1: that I've received in meditation. This is my land. This
- 1:22Speaker 1: is my house. This is whatever information that I've received.
- 1:26Speaker 1: It's just paying attention. We're all looking for this information,
- 1:29Speaker 1: like we're all looking for guidance and we want to
- 1:32Speaker 1: go pay someone for this guidance. We're all looking for this.
- 1:35Speaker 1: A lot of not all of us. I say we
- 1:37Speaker 1: all are. A lot of people are. And we think
- 1:38Speaker 1: that someone else has the answers for us. And it's
- 1:41Speaker 1: not really the case. If you slow down enough, you
- 1:44Speaker 1: recognize what's showing up in your experience. Like, what are
- 1:47Speaker 1: you facing every single day? Are you facing a bunch
- 1:49Speaker 1: of attitude? Do I have attitudes? Am I in the
- 1:52Speaker 1: space of growth and I'm getting a bunch of plants?
- 1:54Speaker 1: There's a space of growth and I'm now expanding. And
- 1:57Speaker 1: those plants are being taken and separate a little bit,
- 2:00Speaker 1: grown in other pots and then given away to somebody else.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It's there's like all this balance that can happen all
- 2:09Speaker 1: the time if we allow it. Now, if I was
- 2:11Speaker 1: trying to control, I'd be like, no, I don't want
- 2:13Speaker 1: to take my time and go pick up these plants
- 2:15Speaker 1: or I don't want to, you know, almost like tell
- 2:17Speaker 1: the universe, no, I don't want these gifts that are
- 2:19Speaker 1: coming my way. But all these gifts are coming your way.
- 2:23Speaker 1: We have gifts coming our way every single day, every
- 2:26Speaker 1: single moment. But are we negating those gifts? Are we
- 2:29Speaker 1: blocking those gifts? Are we, like we were talking about previously,
- 2:33Speaker 1: are we trapping ourselves in this past that those gifts
- 2:38Speaker 1: can't survive in? They can't thrive in that space because
- 2:41Speaker 1: it doesn't exist in that space of our victimhood or
- 2:44Speaker 1: wherever we're at. We're not allowing all this wonderfulness that
- 2:51Speaker 1: the universe is offering us at all moments. I have
- 2:54Speaker 1: been guilty of this for a very long time. And
- 2:57Speaker 1: it's recognizing, so you talked about money a little bit.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It's asking yourself, it's quieting yourself down and asking, where
- 3:04Speaker 1: am I blocking this money? Where am I blocking abundance?
- 3:08Speaker 1: Why do I keep myself in this place of struggle?
- 3:12Speaker 1: It's like really asking yourself these questions and then waiting
- 3:14Speaker 1: for the answers to show up. And a lot of times,
- 3:18Speaker 1: as we have discussed, A lot of this information shows
- 3:21Speaker 1: up when a person across from you is having the
- 3:24Speaker 1: same exact problem. And they're coming into you and they're
- 3:26Speaker 1: talking about their relationship. They're talking about money. They're talking
- 3:29Speaker 1: about whatever. And then all of a sudden, this just
- 3:31Speaker 1: wonderful information comes through because we don't have to know everything.
- 3:34Speaker 1: And we start giving them information. Then we realize all
- 3:37Speaker 1: this information was for us, which you have said. We
- 3:40Speaker 1: have both said this on numerous occasions. But you don't
- 3:42Speaker 1: know until you slow down enough to hear it. And
- 3:46Speaker 1: I was a person that never slowed down enough to
- 3:48Speaker 1: hear it. If we were having a conversation, my mind
- 3:51Speaker 1: was thinking about, ooh, how do I respond to that? Ooh,
- 3:54Speaker 1: what should I say with this? And then if you
- 3:55Speaker 1: would have ever said before to me, well, do you
- 3:58Speaker 1: have anything else do you want to add to that? Ah,
- 4:00Speaker 1: deer in the headlights. You know, I wasn't prepared for this.
- 4:03Speaker 1: And so I try to prepare myself in these conversations
- 4:07Speaker 1: and have something going all the time. Like this conversation
- 4:11Speaker 1: in my head, what am I going to say next?
- 4:13Speaker 1: What's going to happen? And the more that we slow down,
- 4:16Speaker 1: it's not that you're not going to have anything to say.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You're going to have even more to say, even more
- 4:22Speaker 1: valuable for yourself and for the other person that's across
- 4:25Speaker 1: from you. If you can slow down enough to be
- 4:27Speaker 1: able to listen and hear everything, even the quiet times,
- 4:32Speaker 1: like to hear all of it.
- 4:36Speaker 2: It's in the quiet moments, information flows.
- 4:40Speaker 1: All the time. It's all the time. I get stuff.
- 4:43Speaker 1: It's just, I'm blown away by it. I keep writing
- 4:46Speaker 1: stuff on my board. I have a eraser board over here.
- 4:49Speaker 1: And it's like one day I was feeling so good. Like,
- 4:51Speaker 1: and I just, I'm like, I feel good. Like I, like,
- 4:54Speaker 1: I'm like baffled by how good I feel. I'm like,
- 4:56Speaker 1: I feel so good. I'm a home on myself. So
- 4:59Speaker 1: I ride over, walk over to my board and I
- 5:01Speaker 1: ride on there. I feel good because I feel so good.
- 5:04Speaker 1: And it's, and it's those times if we can be
- 5:06Speaker 1: in that space, now we're in a space of appreciation
- 5:08Speaker 1: and now we're creating from a whole nother space. All
- 5:12Speaker 1: of our experiences throughout every single day, it's just kind
- 5:15Speaker 1: of letting us know where we're at right now. That's all.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And if it doesn't feel good where you're at, how
- 5:19Speaker 1: are you going to shift it? It's up to each
- 5:22Speaker 1: individual person because we all shift in different ways. Some
- 5:26Speaker 1: people don't really care for kittens. I like kittens. Someone
- 5:30Speaker 1: else doesn't. Some people don't like, you know, heavy metal.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Some people don't like orchestras. Like there's so many things
- 5:38Speaker 1: that we all have our own preferences because we've been
- 5:41Speaker 1: paying attention along the way of the things that we like.
- 5:44Speaker 1: And that's kind of the way if we start right
- 5:46Speaker 1: there in those things that we do like, And being
- 5:49Speaker 1: in that space, do the things that you do like
- 5:51Speaker 1: and then ask, what could even be better than this?
- 5:53Speaker 1: What could I even, what could I actually really have
- 5:56Speaker 1: a desire for? What could my, how could my passions
- 5:59Speaker 1: even grow more for this? Is this something, is there
- 6:01Speaker 1: something in this? Even the things that push us away.
- 6:03Speaker 1: So even for math, I like sacred geometry, but if
- 6:07Speaker 1: you talk to me about math, it's not, was never
- 6:10Speaker 1: my subject. It was never my subject. But if I
- 6:13Speaker 1: want to push against that, that I'm blocking anything from
- 6:16Speaker 1: coming in from that perspective. And now I'm even more open.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm following like stocks. I'm learning a lot about stocks
- 6:22Speaker 1: and trading and the different terminologies. And it's not because
- 6:26Speaker 1: I feel like I have to. I'm actually kind of
- 6:30Speaker 1: being pulled in that direction. And again, I'll go back
- 6:33Speaker 1: to the conversation. Math was not my thing. Basic math, sure,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I got that down. No big deal. Just don't throw
- 6:40Speaker 1: any crazy shit at me. Geometry, it's not a thing
- 6:44Speaker 1: that I have to know about. Images, I don't have
- 6:47Speaker 1: to know about it. I can feel it. I can
- 6:50Speaker 1: feel something with that. And so I'm saying all this stuff,
- 6:53Speaker 1: but it's like slow down and tune into all your senses.
- 6:56Speaker 1: When you're finding things that you do like, tune into
- 6:59Speaker 1: all your senses when you're doing those things and then
- 7:01Speaker 1: see where it pulls you to next. I've watched you
- 7:04Speaker 1: on your journey growing on these things. And before I'd
- 7:09Speaker 1: be like, oh, gosh, that just wasn't for me. It
- 7:11Speaker 1: has nothing to do with me. It had to do
- 7:13Speaker 1: with me watching your story unfold for you. And that's
- 7:17Speaker 1: where a lot of joy comes from for everything too.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Because then it's like you, by you being yourself, you're
- 7:23Speaker 1: giving others permission to be themselves. Not that we need permission,
- 7:28Speaker 1: but it's like a way shower. It's like a light.
- 7:31Speaker 1: And it's like just taking the time and recognizing how
- 7:34Speaker 1: beneficial everything that we do, even when we're going through
- 7:38Speaker 1: a struggle, it's not only beneficial for us, but it's
- 7:40Speaker 1: beneficial for everybody around us. how we're handling those situations
- 7:45Speaker 1: all the way down to the littles. Because everything that
- 7:48Speaker 1: we do, how we respond to things is what they
- 7:51Speaker 1: get to see and how they get to have an opportunity.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Do I want to respond this way or do I
- 7:55Speaker 1: want to be the yelling parent?
- 7:59Speaker 2: And we've been on here. We've come on here being
- 8:03Speaker 2: vulnerable with some things that we have gone through at
- 8:06Speaker 2: different times and being honest with this is I struggled
- 8:10Speaker 2: with this situation. I'm still struggling with this situation or
- 8:14Speaker 2: this is how I move through it. And this is
- 8:16Speaker 2: what it's taught me. Eventually you and I, we get
- 8:19Speaker 2: to that point, right? Even if we're struggling with it,
- 8:23Speaker 2: we acknowledge that, but we also look at it and go, okay,
- 8:26Speaker 2: how is this, how is this a benefit for me?
- 8:28Speaker 2: How is this helping me? How is this expanding me?
- 8:32Speaker 2: What can I do with this information that I'm learning
- 8:34Speaker 2: through this situation? Like, and you know, back in, aways
- 8:42Speaker 2: when social media started, you know, really becoming the thing.
- 8:47Speaker 2: People were getting on there and just showing all the
- 8:50Speaker 2: rosy moments, right? That all the everything's good and all
- 8:55Speaker 2: this money I have. When in actuality, they were going
- 8:57Speaker 2: and renting a house for an hour and a car
- 8:59Speaker 2: for an hour to take photos and tell you how
- 9:02Speaker 2: wonderful their life is. And then behind the scenes, they're
- 9:06Speaker 2: a mess.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Mommy dearest, that movie just came into my head. Oh,
- 9:13Speaker 1: the mom was always, you know, displayed as everything was perfect,
- 9:17Speaker 1: but she was a mess and abusive. Yeah. It was like, yeah,
- 9:21Speaker 1: there was a lot of stuff that I'd rather be.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I like the true authentic flow.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, once people really got savvy to what was
- 9:30Speaker 2: happening and people were getting on social media with this
- 9:33Speaker 2: facade of what life was and how much money they had,
- 9:37Speaker 2: quote unquote, they had, which they really didn't have. They
- 9:40Speaker 2: were just. saying they had or not really saying they
- 9:44Speaker 2: had it but uh making you think they had um
- 9:51Speaker 2: once that got to a certain people certain point people
- 9:55Speaker 2: started really questioning and and and doubting the truth like
- 10:02Speaker 2: realizing this person really you don't really have that much
- 10:07Speaker 2: money you know not what they were portraying so anyway
- 10:11Speaker 2: now Now, you know, now we've gone into the AI world.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Now we can make videos of our, you know, using
- 10:18Speaker 2: an avatar of ourselves and they're super real like and
- 10:22Speaker 2: all the things. And it was a few years ago,
- 10:26Speaker 2: my mentor was already telling us authenticity and vulnerability are key.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Like those are your connecting factors with your audience. Authenticity
- 10:40Speaker 2: and vulnerability. You need to let them know not everything
- 10:46Speaker 2: is perfect and let them know the things that you
- 10:50Speaker 2: struggle with and the things that you're moving through and
- 10:52Speaker 2: the things that you're experiencing. You have to connect with
- 10:55Speaker 2: your audience and don't try to blow smoke up their
- 10:59Speaker 2: ass because energy tells the truth and people know through
- 11:06Speaker 2: your energy the truth and they know it. They feel it.
- 11:10Speaker 2: They may not. They may not understand it, but they
- 11:14Speaker 2: are going to know they don't like you for a
- 11:16Speaker 2: reason or they're not connecting with you for a reason.
- 11:19Speaker 2: And it's because you're not being authentic. You're not being truthful.
- 11:23Speaker 2: You're not being vulnerable. You're trying to put on a mask, which,
- 11:28Speaker 2: you know, Bev and I were really good at back
- 11:29Speaker 2: in the day. We put on the mask that everything
- 11:31Speaker 2: was great and rosy, but inside we were like a,
- 11:35Speaker 2: like a volcano, earthquake, tornado, all happening at once, just
- 11:39Speaker 2: a mess on the inside. But the, And people knew it.
- 11:43Speaker 2: They were always getting that asked all the time.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Are you.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Okay? Is everything okay? Even though I was acting like
- 11:53Speaker 2: everything was okay, people knew I was not okay. But
- 11:56Speaker 2: of course, I'm not going to expose myself. And so
- 11:59Speaker 2: I would say, oh yeah, everything's great. I'm just tired.
- 12:01Speaker 2: It was just a long day. Had a lot going
- 12:04Speaker 2: on today. But I always said, yes, I'm okay. And
- 12:09Speaker 2: then followed it up with an excuse. or justification and
- 12:15Speaker 2: it was always something external it's always something outside of
- 12:18Speaker 2: me was happening and it was okay so and I
- 12:22Speaker 2: just blow them off and change the subject and move
- 12:24Speaker 2: on but people know people know and they feel your
- 12:29Speaker 2: energy they read your energy they tune into your energy
- 12:32Speaker 2: they connect with your energy we are energetic beings and
- 12:36Speaker 2: we know And we may not be able to define
- 12:41Speaker 2: what we know. We may not be able to pinpoint
- 12:44Speaker 2: what we know, but we know something is off. And
- 12:48Speaker 2: so when you're trying to put on this, this fakeness,
- 12:53Speaker 2: people are, you know, it's like, you know, a dog
- 12:56Speaker 2: looks at you and they're just like, they tilt their
- 12:59Speaker 2: head and they just look at you like, something's not right.
- 13:05Speaker 2: You're off.
- 13:05Speaker 1: You're weird. and sometimes we just can't define we can't
- 13:11Speaker 1: the person that's going through that stuff sometimes can't put
- 13:14Speaker 1: the stuff into words either but I do remember I
- 13:18Speaker 1: remember being on that side of it too where people
- 13:20Speaker 1: were saying asking me if I'm okay and I've also
- 13:23Speaker 1: been on the side of it where I've asked others
- 13:25Speaker 1: are you okay and they're like oh yeah and they're
- 13:28Speaker 1: laughing and everything else but it's like you don't you
- 13:30Speaker 1: know that they they're not okay because you can feel
- 13:33Speaker 1: it but I think we're lucky in so many ways
- 13:36Speaker 1: to be in a timeframe that we are, because we,
- 13:37Speaker 1: this is a conversation that people are having. We're talking
- 13:40Speaker 1: about energy and how we can feel other people's things. And,
- 13:43Speaker 1: and we, and it's recognized it and it's not something
- 13:46Speaker 1: that's wrong or anything along those roads, along that road.
- 13:50Speaker 1: It's just letting you know, I can feel that something's
- 13:53Speaker 1: off for you. And it doesn't mean that that person
- 13:55Speaker 1: is doing anything wrong. It's just that person isn't feeling good.
- 13:59Speaker 1: And when you ask if they're okay, it's an opportunity
- 14:01Speaker 1: for them to be able to express themselves in a
- 14:03Speaker 1: safe place. Because not everybody can do that in a
- 14:07Speaker 1: safe place. And so being vulnerable, like when you talked
- 14:10Speaker 1: about us being vulnerable and stuff like that, I can
- 14:12Speaker 1: be vulnerable with you because I'm in a safe place.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I feel safe with you. You're not going to judge me.
- 14:18Speaker 1: You're going to help guide me along. And that's where
- 14:19Speaker 1: it's important for us to make sure we spend time
- 14:22Speaker 1: with people that are helping to expand us and not
- 14:25Speaker 1: try to suppress us or that we're allowing ourselves to
- 14:28Speaker 1: be suppressed or suppressing ourselves.
- 14:32Speaker 2: And bonus to that is, going along with what your
- 14:39Speaker 2: example was, if you're moving through something that's pretty heavy
- 14:43Speaker 2: and I'm guiding you through it or coaching you through it,
- 14:50Speaker 2: there's a good chance, not always, but there's a good
- 14:54Speaker 2: chance that your pain is helping me too.
- 15:01Speaker 1: 100% gave me goosebumps, but 100%, right?
- 15:06Speaker 2: Because you're moving through something that may be similar to
- 15:12Speaker 2: something I'm moving through or have moved through and still
- 15:14Speaker 2: struggling with. And by me verbally saying to you, well,
- 15:19Speaker 2: here's the steps, here's what you could do, or here's
- 15:21Speaker 2: how you can see it differently. And then my brain goes,
- 15:26Speaker 2: did you hear that? Did you hear what you said? Like,
- 15:29Speaker 2: we just talked about this on the, I think the
- 15:31Speaker 2: last video. is by me actually verbally saying it to you,
- 15:35Speaker 2: I hear it and I go, yeah, that's my next
- 15:38Speaker 2: step too. And I do that because I've trained myself
- 15:44Speaker 2: to do that because I recognized this a long time ago.
- 15:48Speaker 2: When I started coaching people, I was coaching them but
- 15:53Speaker 2: not really knowing I was coaching them. But when I
- 15:56Speaker 2: actually listened to what I was telling them, It was
- 16:02Speaker 2: for me too. So I guess what I'm saying here
- 16:11Speaker 2: is even when you're moving through something that may feel
- 16:15Speaker 2: very like a big struggle to you or hardship or something,
- 16:19Speaker 2: that maybe the person you turn to to have the
- 16:25Speaker 2: conversation with and that they may give you some advice
- 16:28Speaker 2: or something, just know you might be helping them as well.
- 16:32Speaker 2: It's your pain, but there's more to gain from it
- 16:36Speaker 2: than just your moving through it. There's something they need
- 16:40Speaker 2: to get from it too. A good example is, again, listening,
- 16:46Speaker 2: I mentioned Myron Golden a couple times now in our videos.
- 16:51Speaker 2: I just watched a video or a podcast where he
- 16:55Speaker 2: was being interviewed and he was sharing some information about
- 16:58Speaker 2: his history and And his oldest son died, got into
- 17:01Speaker 2: a car accident and died. And he was talking about
- 17:04Speaker 2: the struggle that his, him and his family went through
- 17:08Speaker 2: having that experience. Then he reconnected with a cousin, I
- 17:17Speaker 2: believe he said, who had a daughter. And then the,
- 17:24Speaker 2: and they were only connected for a couple of years
- 17:26Speaker 2: and then the daughter died. And he was like, part
- 17:32Speaker 2: of my understanding of what happened with my son was
- 17:35Speaker 2: I moved through that so then I could be there
- 17:37Speaker 2: for my cousin that I just reconnected with. And sometimes
- 17:45Speaker 2: things like that happen. It happens more often than we think.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Like we move through something in our life and we
- 17:52Speaker 2: manage to get through it. And then somebody shortly thereafter
- 17:58Speaker 2: moves through something similar and you're like, oh, I can
- 18:02Speaker 2: guide you through this. How many times does it happen
- 18:05Speaker 2: with exactly that, with somebody who has transitioned from the
- 18:08Speaker 2: physical body and you have dealt with your grieving, maybe
- 18:13Speaker 2: still dealing with your grieving, maybe it's a spouse or something,
- 18:18Speaker 2: and then somebody you know has a spouse pass. That's
- 18:24Speaker 2: a different, to me, There's different levels of grieving for
- 18:27Speaker 2: different relationships, right? I think you're going to grieve the
- 18:30Speaker 2: loss of a child differently than you will a spouse
- 18:33Speaker 2: or grandparent or sister or brother or anything like that.
- 18:38Speaker 2: So you have that experience and then somebody you know
- 18:40Speaker 2: has a similar experience. Now you're there to help them.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Like this is what we do as humans is we
- 18:46Speaker 2: are here to help each other. And those are just
- 18:48Speaker 2: a few examples. It could be money problems. That's why
- 18:51Speaker 2: there's so many coaches now. It's like we've all moved
- 18:54Speaker 2: through our crap and we're like, oh my gosh, had
- 18:57Speaker 2: a breakthrough. This is what happened for me. Now I
- 18:59Speaker 2: get to share it.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 19:04Speaker 2: And now what you're doing is you're trading your knowledge
- 19:08Speaker 2: and wisdom for money. Like you're still giving value to somebody,
- 19:14Speaker 2: but now there's an energetic exchange, which is a form
- 19:17Speaker 2: typically of money. So, but... But keeping in mind that
- 19:21Speaker 2: the struggle that you might be having is probably going
- 19:24Speaker 2: to be beneficial for somebody else too. And you may
- 19:27Speaker 2: not see that in the moment. You're not going to
- 19:29Speaker 2: understand that in the moment. It's going to be hard
- 19:30Speaker 2: in the moment. But once you get on the other
- 19:33Speaker 2: side of it, you may not even be all the
- 19:35Speaker 2: way on the other side of it. You might get
- 19:39Speaker 2: three quarters of the way through it. And then somebody
- 19:41Speaker 2: else comes along, has similar experience. You're like, oh, let's
- 19:44Speaker 2: walk this together. I can at least walk with you
- 19:49Speaker 2: through this. journey because i get it i i resonate
- 19:53Speaker 2: with what you are going through.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Yeah and as you said it's the opportunity for the
- 20:00Speaker 1: person that's there to be of service to be giving
- 20:03Speaker 1: out information to be the guide and also recognize, can
- 20:08Speaker 1: recognize in that same instant that there was some healing
- 20:11Speaker 1: they still had left to do. And because of that
- 20:13Speaker 1: person coming to them with their struggles and their grief,
- 20:17Speaker 1: it gives the person that's there to help, not realizing
- 20:21Speaker 1: they're both there to help, it gives that person that's
- 20:23Speaker 1: there to help to recognize, I still have some healing
- 20:26Speaker 1: to do. And then that goes back and forth. It's
- 20:28Speaker 1: letting the other person say, like, listen, it was six
- 20:31Speaker 1: years ago this happened to me, but now I have
- 20:33Speaker 1: another understanding. But I also recognize I still have stuff.
- 20:37Speaker 1: So it's like, you might, you might go along and
- 20:39Speaker 1: be great for six years or what, or six months
- 20:43Speaker 1: or six days and then recognize, oh, there's another little
- 20:46Speaker 1: nugget here that needs to be kind of turned. This
- 20:49Speaker 1: rock needs to be turned over and exposed what's underneath it.
- 20:53Speaker 1: So for my own healing, so there's not something that's
- 20:55Speaker 1: hidden anymore. And then the more that we do that stuff,
- 20:58Speaker 1: cause it just heals it, it heals both parties. both
- 21:02Speaker 1: people that came together. And that's the whole purpose of
- 21:04Speaker 1: all this stuff when we come together, I think, is
- 21:05Speaker 1: to heal each other. It's recognizing the benefit that we
- 21:10Speaker 1: are for the person that's in front of us, but
- 21:12Speaker 1: how much of a benefit we are for our own selves.
- 21:15Speaker 1: It's appreciating every single moment has a nugget for us.
- 21:19Speaker 1: And sometimes we can't see it because we're so close
- 21:22Speaker 1: to it. But when you can back out a little
- 21:24Speaker 1: bit and zoom out a little bit, then you recognize
- 21:26Speaker 1: where the positivity, the nuggets come from, just like you
- 21:28Speaker 1: were talking about the gentleman losing his son and then,
- 21:33Speaker 1: you know, losing another family member after that coming together and,
- 21:36Speaker 1: and recognizing he had so much information to bring forward
- 21:40Speaker 1: for the other person for, and that's even still healing
- 21:43Speaker 1: for the person that has already experienced that loss and
- 21:46Speaker 1: thought they had grown through all of it. Cause there's
- 21:48Speaker 1: still stuff that comes forward there. Even for me, there's
- 21:51Speaker 1: still stuff that comes forward on occasion. It's, it's not
- 21:54Speaker 1: as frequent as it used to be. But there is
- 21:57Speaker 1: still stuff that comes forward, even as I'm burning or
- 22:00Speaker 1: releasing stuff. And I think about releasing all the other stuff.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Then it's like I'll feel like an angst, but I
- 22:05Speaker 1: stop and feel that feeling inside of myself. Because literally,
- 22:09Speaker 1: it's eventually we're not going to be here. The stuff's
- 22:13Speaker 1: not going to matter as much. So it's like what
- 22:15Speaker 1: matters is right now, this moment we have together with
- 22:18Speaker 1: each other right now. The moment you have with the
- 22:21Speaker 1: other person that you're talking to about your grief and
- 22:23Speaker 1: their grief that you've grown through. That's the now. Everything
- 22:28Speaker 1: that we have is right now all the time. There
- 22:30Speaker 1: is no other, there's nothing else except for we may
- 22:34Speaker 1: be holding ourself in places and attaching ourself to places
- 22:38Speaker 1: and expecting things from other people from places. And that's
- 22:41Speaker 1: not being right now. So it's all that stuff is
- 22:44Speaker 1: just gauges to guide you right back to being right
- 22:47Speaker 1: now and enjoying this very moment that we have together.
- 22:49Speaker 2: And I want to add too is that We'd like
- 22:57Speaker 2: to be in service to others. So if you're moving
- 23:01Speaker 2: through an experience, this seems pretty heavy and you can
- 23:06Speaker 2: get halfway, most of the way through it. I don't
- 23:08Speaker 2: think there's really a gauge as to what that point is.
- 23:12Speaker 2: It's an individual basis. And then somebody comes along having
- 23:17Speaker 2: a similar experience. It's easy for us to become in
- 23:20Speaker 2: service and distracted from ourselves. So now I have something
- 23:27Speaker 2: else outside of me to distract me and I'm going
- 23:30Speaker 2: to give all my attention to over here in this
- 23:33Speaker 2: other area and I'm going to put my stuff aside
- 23:39Speaker 2: because I need to be over here with this person
- 23:42Speaker 2: or in this situation and then they stay so distracted
- 23:47Speaker 2: they never, well I won't say never, but they just
- 23:50Speaker 2: put their stuff on the sidelines of and try to
- 23:57Speaker 2: forget about it. And there's a little bit of caution
- 24:02Speaker 2: to that because it's going to show up. It's going
- 24:06Speaker 2: to rear its head again and probably in a very
- 24:10Speaker 2: inconvenient time because, you know, there's no time. They don't
- 24:15Speaker 2: wait for your schedule to clear. But that stuff that's
- 24:19Speaker 2: sitting there that you're pushing down and avoiding or being
- 24:23Speaker 2: distracted from, it's going to show up. And there's still
- 24:27Speaker 2: going to be some attention that you need to give
- 24:32Speaker 2: yourself about that experience that you have been avoiding. So
- 24:41Speaker 2: just I want people to be aware of that. As
- 24:46Speaker 2: a coach, and I've shared this many times, is when
- 24:50Speaker 2: I'm coaching somebody, if we're on a topic that... I
- 24:57Speaker 2: have moved through in my history and we're having a
- 25:00Speaker 2: conversation about it. And I feel some kind of an
- 25:02Speaker 2: angst in me or I get, uh, maybe I get
- 25:07Speaker 2: teary eyed in the conversation or something. That is a
- 25:10Speaker 2: signal to me. Like I still have some healing to
- 25:12Speaker 2: do around that. So I'll finish the session with this
- 25:15Speaker 2: person and then go do my own work. Like I
- 25:19Speaker 2: have that self-awareness and I'm cause I've had it. I've
- 25:23Speaker 2: had it happen. I've had it happen in a big
- 25:24Speaker 2: group of people where I'm teaching and And then something just,
- 25:28Speaker 2: I say something and man, does it hit my heart?
- 25:31Speaker 2: And I get, you know, you get a little crackly voice,
- 25:34Speaker 2: you might get a little teary eyed. And I will
- 25:37Speaker 2: actually verbally a lot of times say, I needed to
- 25:40Speaker 2: hear that. And I'll move on with the class and
- 25:47Speaker 2: get done and then take some time to focus on
- 25:51Speaker 2: what it was that got my attention. And whether it's
- 25:58Speaker 2: journaling or whatever process I do, visualization, whatever it is
- 26:02Speaker 2: I do to do some healing around that, that I felt.
- 26:11Speaker 2: So self-awareness is huge. And just know that, yeah, you
- 26:20Speaker 2: can put things aside and you can stuff them down,
- 26:22Speaker 2: but they're going to show back up. They're going to
- 26:24Speaker 2: show back up. And it might come up even stronger
- 26:27Speaker 2: than before because it needs your attention so that you
- 26:30Speaker 2: can heal it. Move through it.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Yep. They were just a flashlight to shine the light
- 26:38Speaker 1: of the darkness there for a few minutes.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Yep.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Or we were in our own darkness. Yeah.
- 26:46Speaker 2: So you can put the face on the mascot says
- 26:51Speaker 2: you're okay. Everything's okay. Life's okay. Right. They say it's fine.
- 26:55Speaker 2: I'm fine it's fine everything's fine we do that at
- 26:59Speaker 2: work sometimes it's fine I'm fine everything's fine and they
- 27:01Speaker 2: know we're not so but just know your energy says
- 27:11Speaker 2: another story and I'll tell you when I ask somebody
- 27:15Speaker 2: if they're okay and they tell me yeah and I
- 27:17Speaker 2: look at them like are you sure like I want
- 27:20Speaker 2: them to feel safe with me I want them to
- 27:23Speaker 2: know that they can have a conversation with me. Um,
- 27:27Speaker 2: but just know when people ask you a second time,
- 27:29Speaker 2: are you sure? Are you okay? They know, they know,
- 27:34Speaker 2: like we know, like we know, we just don't know. Right. Um,
- 27:39Speaker 2: so maybe if, if that could be a sign for
- 27:43Speaker 2: you that, um, people are reading your energy and know
- 27:48Speaker 2: there's not something right or something's off, then, um, then
- 27:52Speaker 2: maybe you may not feel comfortable talking to them, but
- 27:54Speaker 2: maybe seek out somebody to talk to so it doesn't
- 27:57Speaker 2: just keep festering. I'm going to wrap this up. Sister,
- 28:02Speaker 2: any final words?
- 28:05Speaker 1: Take time for yourself. Get to know yourself. Know what
- 28:08Speaker 1: makes you tick. Find out who you are in the silence.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Okay, fine.
