- 0:00Speaker 1: This is seven r Boy, the Mark Simoon Show starts.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Now, Hey, it looks like a nice day today. It's
- 0:11Speaker 2: gonna be beautiful for the next few days. Make up
- 0:13Speaker 2: for all that rain. We got a lot to get
- 0:15Speaker 2: to today. Letitia James definitely in trouble, already indicted on
- 0:20Speaker 2: one charge. They are more coming. So we'll get to
- 0:22Speaker 2: that stupid, silly No Kings rally. We'll get to the
- 0:26Speaker 2: mayoral race. The debate is tomorrow night. Tomorrow night, that
- 0:30Speaker 2: debate could decide the race. We'll get to that. We'll
- 0:33Speaker 2: get to New Jersey, Chittarelli and Mikey Cheryl having a
- 0:38Speaker 2: a lot of fighting going on. We'll get to that.
- 0:40Speaker 2: We'll get to shut down. Remember the shutdown. They may
- 0:46Speaker 2: remember remember this, they shut down the government. Nobody notices.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Uh.
- 0:50Speaker 2: But we'll get to Ukraine and more coming up. So
- 0:54Speaker 2: the peace steal is an amazing thing. The hostage release
- 0:58Speaker 2: an amazing achievement. But if you watch the fake news,
- 1:03Speaker 2: if you watch MSNBC, you're sinning. They've got to try
- 1:05Speaker 2: to find something wrong. They kind of try to make
- 1:07Speaker 2: it look like everything's gone bad. Well so far they
- 1:12Speaker 2: really can't find much. You know, you watch the hostage release,
- 1:17Speaker 2: you know, the hostages meet, the families, the crying, the screaming.
- 1:20Speaker 2: It's just so powerful and moving. So fake news today
- 1:25Speaker 2: going after well Hamas is not totally disarmed. They have
- 1:29Speaker 2: video of some Hamas rebels shooting guns in the street
- 1:32Speaker 2: and goza. This is normal. This happens after every one
- 1:35Speaker 2: of these agreements. Takes a little while for the dust
- 1:37Speaker 2: to settle and clean things up. The next step of
- 1:41Speaker 2: release is supposed to be the release of the dead hostages,
- 1:44Speaker 2: and they've they have been releasing the bodies of the
- 1:47Speaker 2: dead hostages. Now one of them turns out to not
- 1:50Speaker 2: be a hostage, as they find out through DNA. So
- 1:54Speaker 2: if you're watching CNN, MSNBC New York, this is the panic.
- 1:59Speaker 2: They're in panic about it. I said, the whole deal
- 2:01Speaker 2: is crumbling over this one little thing. But there's some
- 2:04Speaker 2: people that enjoy that they like and don't again, don't
- 2:07Speaker 2: try to talk to your Democratic friends about it. Just
- 2:10Speaker 2: don't even get into it with them. They want to
- 2:12Speaker 2: believe that narrative. They want to believe that it's just
- 2:15Speaker 2: something they love. You know, it's like a little kid
- 2:17Speaker 2: who believes he has an imaginary friend. Don't argue with him.
- 2:21Speaker 2: He wants to believe it, don't argue. So the other
- 2:25Speaker 2: thing is this is the new thing they're trying to start,
- 2:30Speaker 2: that this peace deal, this amazing achievement, is actually the
- 2:34Speaker 2: result of a couple of years of hard work by
- 2:38Speaker 2: Joe Biden and Anthony Blinken. I'm not kidding. Joe Biden
- 2:44Speaker 2: even took credit for it online, saying, you know that
- 2:48Speaker 2: he laid the groundwork for this, and then the crazy
- 2:51Speaker 2: left wing idiot's picking this up. You got that Andrea Mitchell,
- 2:55Speaker 2: who's the worst fake news reporter of all, and she
- 2:59Speaker 2: got a lot of flak for this, tweeting out just
- 3:01Speaker 2: thank you, thank you, thank you, Anthony Blincoln for the
- 3:04Speaker 2: two years of work that was the basis for this happening.
- 3:10Speaker 2: They believe this stuff, the two years of work that
- 3:14Speaker 2: Biden and Blincoln did. Try to point to anything that
- 3:19Speaker 2: Biden and Blincoln did that had any effect at all.
- 3:23Speaker 2: But this is what they're going to do now. A
- 3:28Speaker 2: lot of stuff, a lot of it's tough on these democrats.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Some of them, well, they know there's a microphone in
- 3:36Speaker 2: front of them, there's a camera on them. They know
- 3:37Speaker 2: they can't deny it. They have to give Trump some credit.
- 3:42Speaker 2: So they praise the peace deal, they praise the people
- 3:45Speaker 2: that did. They try not to mention Trump, but they
- 3:47Speaker 2: have to listen to Kamala and Hillary.
- 3:49Speaker 4: I don't think that we should hold in credit where
- 3:52Speaker 4: it's due, and I command the people who have been
- 3:55Speaker 4: a part of this process. I'd commend the Qataris, the Egyptians,
- 3:59Speaker 4: and it's a really significant first step. And I really
- 4:05Speaker 4: commend President Trump and his administration as well as Arab
- 4:12Speaker 4: leaders in the region.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Well, good for them, both probably throwing up after having
- 4:17Speaker 2: to say that. It wasn't easy for them to get
- 4:19Speaker 2: that out. Hey, powerful ceremony yesterday the White House, the
- 4:23Speaker 2: Rose Garden, the beautiful new improved Rose Garden. They were
- 4:27Speaker 2: going to do it in the East Room of the
- 4:28Speaker 2: White House, awarding Charlie Kirk on his thirty second birthday,
- 4:32Speaker 2: the Presidential Medal of Freedom. But all of a sudden,
- 4:35Speaker 2: the storm stopped, the clouds parted, the sun came out.
- 4:38Speaker 2: It turned out to be beautiful today. At the last minute,
- 4:41Speaker 2: moved it out to the Rose Garden outside. It was
- 4:43Speaker 2: a beautiful ceremony and it was an amazing audience. If
- 4:47Speaker 2: you looked at the video of that audience. You saw
- 4:50Speaker 2: Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly and Laura Ingram and everybody
- 4:55Speaker 2: can imagine. It was Glenn Beck, that was Tucker Carlson,
- 4:58Speaker 2: and these were all friends that you Charley Kirk's his
- 5:01Speaker 2: wife wanted them all there. The President made a great speech.
- 5:05Speaker 5: It's my privilege to posthumously award Charles James Kirk our
- 5:11Speaker 5: nation's highest civilion honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Now the widow was there, she was fighting back tears.
- 5:20Speaker 2: That handkerchief in her hand kept wiping the tears away
- 5:23Speaker 2: and made a great speech.
- 5:24Speaker 6: And so today as we honor Charlie with this incredible
- 5:30Speaker 6: Presidential Medal of Freedom on his birthday, I seen her
- 5:36Speaker 6: with tears and just humbled heart and spirit because his
- 5:40Speaker 6: story reminds us all that to live free is the
- 5:46Speaker 6: greatest gift, but to die free is the greatest victory.
- 5:54Speaker 6: Happy birthday, my Charlie, Happy freedom Day.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Yeah, quite a moving ceremony yesterday. Hey, the mayoral race
- 6:07Speaker 2: Tomorrow night is the debate. This is the big moment.
- 6:10Speaker 2: It'll be And I talked to Curtis yesterday. He'll be
- 6:13Speaker 2: center stage, he'll be in between mom Donnie on one side,
- 6:18Speaker 2: Cuomo on the other side, So it'll be Mom Donnie
- 6:22Speaker 2: and Curtis next to each other. They're the two major
- 6:24Speaker 2: party candidates. Cloma's running on a third party, and Curtis
- 6:29Speaker 2: says he's ready to go after Mom Donnie. Now, I
- 6:32Speaker 2: don't know what Cuomo's gonna do. He should just go
- 6:35Speaker 2: after Mom Donnie, but he may try to go after
- 6:39Speaker 2: Curtis too. Now, remember, Mom Donnie's a good debater, He's
- 6:42Speaker 2: a slick, fast talker. Cuomo's a very, very very weak debater.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Curtis a professional debater for thirty five years. So Cloma's
- 6:51Speaker 2: going to look pretty inept compared to these two guys.
- 6:55Speaker 2: It may be a very bad night for Cuomo. I mean,
- 6:58Speaker 2: maybe he's been practicing trying. He got wiped out in
- 7:02Speaker 2: the first debate against Mom Donnie, and then he really
- 7:04Speaker 2: worked hard for that second debate and prepared himself with
- 7:06Speaker 2: all kinds of great comebacks and great things to hit
- 7:10Speaker 2: Mam Donnie with, all memorized and he hit him with
- 7:12Speaker 2: all these things, and every time he did, Mom Donnie
- 7:15Speaker 2: just pounded him into the ground. So I don't know
- 7:18Speaker 2: what more Cuomo could do for tomorrow. Night. It'll be
- 7:22Speaker 2: Channel four tomorrow night. Not most, very few people watch
- 7:25Speaker 2: TV anymore. But it's got to go viral. It's got
- 7:29Speaker 2: to go all over the place. There has to be
- 7:30Speaker 2: moments that go viral. We'll see. Rumor is Eric Adams
- 7:35Speaker 2: may come out and endorse Cuomo. I don't know exactly
- 7:38Speaker 2: what that means. I don't know that an Adams endorsement
- 7:42Speaker 2: will carry any weight with anybody. But these big donors,
- 7:46Speaker 2: these big money donors, are convinced that Cuomo can win.
- 7:51Speaker 2: I remember, these big money donors are always wrong every
- 7:53Speaker 2: time when it comes to politics, always wrong. So I'm
- 7:56Speaker 2: sure they've shall we say, incentive devised Adams to make
- 8:01Speaker 2: this endorsement, and it looks like he will at some point.
- 8:06Speaker 2: This is Adams yesterday.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I'm clear that there's one major obstacle we have. And
- 8:12Speaker 1: as Zoran, you know the thought of having CCRB fire
- 8:16Speaker 1: cops removing three thousand people from Ryker's Island without them
- 8:22Speaker 1: getting the rehabilitation that they need. Of you know what
- 8:26Speaker 1: we're going to be doing about these false promises around
- 8:30Speaker 1: higes of freezing rint.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and I remember these big donors were the guys
- 8:34Speaker 2: four years ago the convince you to go with Adams,
- 8:37Speaker 2: forget Curtis. Imagine if we elected Curtis four years ago,
- 8:41Speaker 2: the crime would have been cleaned up. I mean, he's
- 8:43Speaker 2: the best crime fighter in the race. He's Rudy Giuliani too.
- 8:47Speaker 2: In fact, Rudy Giuliani has said so it would have
- 8:52Speaker 2: been a different city. You know, if you clean up
- 8:55Speaker 2: the crime, if you make it the safest city in
- 8:58Speaker 2: the world, everything else pretty much fixes itself. Business flourishes,
- 9:02Speaker 2: people move in, more business comes in, more money flows in.
- 9:05Speaker 2: All you got do is get rid of the crime.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Kathy Hochel did a joint appearance with Mom Donnie yesterday,
- 9:14Speaker 2: so again you can't count on her for anything. She's
- 9:17Speaker 2: just a little weather vane which whichever way the wind
- 9:20Speaker 2: is blowing. It was supposedly about energy or something.
- 9:23Speaker 4: He's created an energy around the Wills who just focus
- 9:27Speaker 4: on what will make New York City even more exceptional,
- 9:30Speaker 4: and that is to make it more affordable.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeah, he's got an energy. That's what he's great. He's brilliant,
- 9:37Speaker 2: he's got great solutions. He's just he's got an energy.
- 9:39Speaker 2: He does have an energy. You know, when you talk
- 9:41Speaker 2: very fast like he talks it creates an energy. Let's
- 9:45Speaker 2: see what did Croomo have to say?
- 9:46Speaker 7: They are formidable and they are frightening to Democrats in
- 9:51Speaker 7: a primary. So Democrats have to decide the way I
- 9:56Speaker 7: want to try to make a deal with the DS
- 10:01Speaker 7: so they don't try to primary, may do I try
- 10:04Speaker 7: to oppose the DSA so and each one makes their
- 10:07Speaker 7: own political decisions.
- 10:09Speaker 2: See, he's going to have a problem tomorrow night. You know,
- 10:11Speaker 2: you got Fast talking about'm down he talking about in
- 10:12Speaker 2: a minute. You got Curtis who can keep right up
- 10:14Speaker 2: with him. And then you've got Cuomo who talks too
- 10:19Speaker 2: slow and he gets into this sing song. I don't
- 10:23Speaker 2: know why, but Curtis.
- 10:26Speaker 3: I see it as a race coming down who can
- 10:28Speaker 3: get the vote out Johan well Sleevan has Andrew Cuomo
- 10:32Speaker 3: failed the first time and he'll fail again.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Yeah, now that's the problem. Though. The Democrats have a
- 10:37Speaker 2: huge machine, what they call the ground game, those volunteers
- 10:40Speaker 2: that are knocking on doors bringing people to the polls.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Democrats have an army of about sixty five thousand of them.
- 10:47Speaker 2: The Republican Party in New York nothing nothing, So it's
- 10:53Speaker 2: going to take a lot of motivating to get people out.
- 10:55Speaker 2: If if it's a high turnout race, Curtis could win.
- 10:58Speaker 2: If it's a low turn that's how you get a Deblasio.
- 11:02Speaker 2: That's how you get a Mom Donnie. You know. But
- 11:05Speaker 2: Deblasi was like eighteen percent turnout. If you get like
- 11:08Speaker 2: the old days, an eighty percent turnout, that's when you
- 11:10Speaker 2: get a Rudy Giuliani. Here's more a Curtis.
- 11:13Speaker 3: I would ask Jessica Tisch to stay on if nothing
- 11:16Speaker 3: more than stability. She's cleared up the problems that they
- 11:20Speaker 3: had in won police plaza. I may disagree with how
- 11:23Speaker 3: she's allocated police in the subway since streets, but then again,
- 11:28Speaker 3: I think the other thing is if you have a
- 11:30Speaker 3: police commissioner, whether it's he or her, whether she decides
- 11:33Speaker 3: to stay on or not, let them run the police department.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the thing that Curtis is the crime fighter.
- 11:39Speaker 2: He'd keep Jessica Tish. I know Curtis. He would call
- 11:42Speaker 2: Rudy Giuliani, make him a consultant to the NYPD. He'd
- 11:45Speaker 2: call Ray Kelly, call all these guys and get the
- 11:48Speaker 2: crime cleaned up. Now, the other thing is in November,
- 11:53Speaker 2: in a couple of weeks, you can get rid of
- 11:55Speaker 2: Alvin Bragg. He's up for reelection. You can vote for
- 11:59Speaker 2: the opponent, maud Maren. Make sure you vote for her.
- 12:02Speaker 2: She's the Republican, although she's been a Democrat most of
- 12:05Speaker 2: her life, so if you're a Democrat, you can live
- 12:07Speaker 2: with her. But maud Maren is a real crime fighter,
- 12:12Speaker 2: a perfect district attorney, will lock up criminals, unlike Alvin Bragg,
- 12:17Speaker 2: who just lets them all loose. So just throw Alvin
- 12:20Speaker 2: Bragg the hell out in November. That's one important thing
- 12:23Speaker 2: you can do. Hey, Letitia James the documents. You can
- 12:28Speaker 2: go online and look up the actual documents, the things
- 12:30Speaker 2: she signed. It is mortgage frauds. I mean these documents
- 12:35Speaker 2: I assume are real, and if they are, it's clearly
- 12:37Speaker 2: mortgage fraud. She deceived the lenders into thinking this was
- 12:41Speaker 2: going to be her primary residence and it would just
- 12:44Speaker 2: be her living there. That's very important to the lenders.
- 12:49Speaker 2: If it's just you living in a house, they'll lend
- 12:52Speaker 2: you a certain amount. If it's going to be rented out,
- 12:55Speaker 2: you're going to have tenants, there's more risk involved, more trouble.
- 12:58Speaker 2: It changes the whole rate. She lied on the documents
- 13:02Speaker 2: This is the charge that she lied on the documents
- 13:06Speaker 2: about it being a primary residence. She signed them. You
- 13:08Speaker 2: can see her signal. She go go to the New
- 13:10Speaker 2: York Post today they have the documents up there. She
- 13:12Speaker 2: actually signed it. This is going to be a big problem.
- 13:16Speaker 2: You can go to jail for this. Plenty of people
- 13:18Speaker 2: have been put in jail for this. Plenty of people
- 13:21Speaker 2: are convicted of this. Now I hear there's more charges coming.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Not only did she lie it was not a primary residence,
- 13:28Speaker 2: She's going to have tenants living there, but it turns
- 13:32Speaker 2: out one of them was a fugitive. She was housing
- 13:35Speaker 2: her grand niece is a fugitive from justice. She was
- 13:39Speaker 2: living there with her three kids. She was officially listed
- 13:43Speaker 2: as an absconder wanted by authorities in North Carolina. She
- 13:47Speaker 2: was on probation and jumped her probation, skipped probation and left.
- 13:52Speaker 2: They put out a warrant for her. What was she
- 13:55Speaker 2: sentenced for assault, battery, trespassing and she willfully avoided probation supervision.
- 14:02Speaker 2: She's an actual fugitive and Letitia James, this is our
- 14:06Speaker 2: Attorney general lied to the mortgage company was harboring a
- 14:10Speaker 2: fugitive in this house. This fugitive grand niece will be
- 14:15Speaker 2: arrested if they get her back in North Carolina. So
- 14:20Speaker 2: the crimes are bad crimes, but they're not high enough
- 14:23Speaker 2: to be extraditible, so she can hide there. So not
- 14:27Speaker 2: only mortgage fraud, harboring a fugitive in the house. This
- 14:31Speaker 2: is your attorney general. Unbelievable. Hey, we'll take some calls
- 14:35Speaker 2: in a minute. Eight hundred three to two one zero
- 14:39Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three to two
- 14:42Speaker 2: one zero seven ten.
